- 0:01welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt it's all
- 0:08bit hearty so I don't really understand it Luke is that a little sashwat penis
- 0:14Dan I accidentally got soap in my urethra and occasionally Terry smallo
- 0:19maybe you wake up in the middle of the night with a little sashwat penis inside
- 0:23of you multiple nerdgasm your guide to
- 0:28all things
- 0:33nerdy so how you been Luke oh not too bad how you been I'm all right I think
- 0:38I'm losing my voice right now though oh good good Matt
- 0:42you Matt Matt oh well this is awkward I don't know that we've ever done a
- 0:48podcast without Matt before no I think this might be a first Jesus all right do
- 0:54we just continue on or I guess we do I mean okay I guess we just work out what
- 0:59are the stories m put into the spreadsheet and just gray those out for
- 1:02now well that'll probably be all of them want it well you'd think so I do have a
- 1:06question for you go on I've been playing a lot of Guitar Hero live I think it is
- 1:10okay and they've got this whole thing where you go on and you play live and
- 1:14the way it works is you just play film clips all right yeah so every hour
- 1:17they've got like a rock hour or a pop hour and know started thinking do people
- 1:23still watch film clips I look I had this discussion recently actually I'm not
- 1:28sure they do at least not not in a block
- 1:33on television okay like there's YouTube channels dedicated to music video but I
- 1:40I don't think anyone puts on video smash hits every Saturday morning like we used
- 1:43to when we were teenagers or rage on a Friday night well wasn't really because
- 1:47we put it on because we wanted to watch it it's because there was nothing else
- 1:50there yeah correct now we' got choice but yeah just yeah I've never thought I
- 1:55need to see this film clip but I've heard a new song yeah that's so true I'm
- 1:58the same I've just totally ignored it but the thing is when I was young I used
- 2:03to sit and watch video clips like I'd watch songs that I hated by artists I
- 2:08hated just on the off chance I'd hear one that I did like I remember being in
- 2:13front of the television with the VCR ready to record songs I liked man we
- 2:18lived in a different world swear if we tell kids what we went through today
- 2:22they're not going to believe us they be like what do you mean you can't just
- 2:24choose what you want to watch yeah it's crazy we're old but yeah I I just had
- 2:29ask yeah we are I was watching a show today and they had the M leag character
- 2:34and it as a flashback to when she was younger yeah talking about how she's she
- 2:38learning to be a writer and all this she had a flat screen
- 2:42monitor yeah right okay that's uh yeah
- 2:47wow damn but it could be worse oh yeah and speaking of TV shows that are also
- 2:52flashbacks did you know that there's a new series of Voltron starting on
- 2:56Netflix this year on Netflix yes no made for Netflix cuz the listeners of this
- 3:03podcast are going to know how much I love Voltron right of course you know
- 3:08and watching that series as a child is is tied in to my greatest sports
- 3:13achievement which we've discussed before and it's just great memories from my
- 3:18childhood Voltron and also giant robot Lions is just [ __ ] cool I was about
- 3:24to ask I know we've probably discussed before were you cars or lions uh look I
- 3:29watched both because I would literally watch anything with a giant robot in it
- 3:33yeah and as a kid I used to try to figure out why there were
- 3:37two and why they were both called Voltron yeah it's a lot of stuff that
- 3:42happened where you just didn't quite understand why it was different yeah you
- 3:46just went with it you still had to watch it all oh yeah and what I loved about
- 3:50the one with the cars for feet was it it had a sword right so it wasn't just a
- 3:55giant robot that could [ __ ] do [ __ ] and shoot missiles it it literally
- 4:00you know like it had swordsmanship and that's just cool but
- 4:05when's that coming out it's coming out soon man I don't know I probably should
- 4:08have looked it up before I mentioned it no I'm just I'm excited about this now I
- 4:12know June 10th June wow yeah I might be tuning in for this then yeah man this is
- 4:19going to be good I mean I hope it's going to be good because voltron's just
- 4:23cool yeah and either the images that I'm finding online are from the old show not
- 4:28the new show and nothing's been leaked or they've just made it look exactly
- 4:31like the 80s and that would be cool too you know I don't need to see this in CGI
- 4:36I'd actually prefer it not in CGI me too good old cell animation cheap cell
- 4:41animation from Japan too well you could maybe spend a little bit more money on
- 4:45it yeah yeah yeah it doesn't need to be CGI but yeah it doesn't need to be back
- 4:5080s style somewhere in the middle yeah oh it's actually going to be the Lions
- 4:56yeah yep yep [ __ ] yeah so what something I'm psyched about with which finally
- 5:00finally finally might be happening yeah you know how we we've had the
- 5:04conversation about what you should have got a PlayStation or an Xbox yeah yeah
- 5:09yeah may not need to worry about that soon really maybe go on have you played
- 5:15rocket League heard of Rocket League I have it I've seen it on Steam yeah well
- 5:20it's just come out in the Xbox and it's a huge game yeah Microsoft have gone
- 5:24look if the developers want to go and make it crossplatform with PC and other
- 5:29things we don't care wow so go look we're not going to pay for it but if you
- 5:35want to pay for it go for it okay L have also come out and gone
- 5:40well we've been doing crossplatform for years we've been doing since PlayStation
- 5:432 yeah and they have also come and say we're open to
- 5:48discussions interesting fingers crossed it might mean that it's a year or two
- 5:54years time it could be you could be playing someone on my Xbox I be playing
- 5:58someone on PlayStation wow cuz we couldn't even what was that we tried to
- 6:02play oh that was not even that we couldn't even play worms against each
- 6:07other because I'm on a Mac yeah and you are on a
- 6:12PC Yeah well yeah that that so you know I I feel the pain I feel the pain mind
- 6:17you we help we all have Xboxes yeah and we still don't play yeah yeah but we
- 6:22don't I mean we we all went for Xbox because we always feel it's better if we
- 6:27all have the same y it's easier to talk about is playing together if we're all
- 6:31on the same system yeah yeah and there are a couple of exclusives that uh
- 6:36PlayStation 4 have that I would like to play but generally speaking everything I
- 6:40want to play comes out on the Xbox here the thing like it's the same games I
- 6:44want they come out on both there are a couple that I would have liked out on
- 6:48the PlayStation like the Uncharted series and things like that
- 6:53but I I'm a big fan of Halo so that's why I always sort of drift back to
- 6:57Xbox but yeah absolutely speaking of Xbox I have been
- 7:03playing Primal like it's going out of style really oh man I I Adore this game
- 7:09I actually got back into playing it today every opportunity I get I'm back
- 7:15in and it's all about the setting like like I don't play the the Far Cry games
- 7:20it's not like I specifically like that style of gameplay necessarily it's just
- 7:25that I love playing as a caveman it's just so cool and the fact that there's
- 7:30such a survival component to the game the fact that like I had to I had to
- 7:35kill and Skin three mammoths because I got a chick back in the town who needed
- 7:39M skins to fix a roof you know what I mean like you know this is stuff we can
- 7:43all relate to my problem is I keep setting myself on
- 7:47fire yes it's so difficult not to set yourself on fire I really don't
- 7:53understand why they made that so easy to do like I understand like it spreads and
- 7:57it's wonderful but the second you start cutting that fire you're right next to
- 8:01it you just yeah it's bad yeah you go up every time I always hate those missions
- 8:06where it's going and burn down this this Village yeah cuz you know you're going
- 8:11to burn it is satisfying burning [ __ ] though it's really satisfying it's
- 8:15satisfying burning people like sometimes for no real reason before I fire an
- 8:19arrow at somebody I'll I'll ignite it because not only will they get stuck
- 8:25with an arrow but they also shriek with the pain of being burned yeah you're not
- 8:29playing the whole stealth side of it then um well not always here's the thing
- 8:35I I start off every Mission playing it in stealth because that's just how I
- 8:39play most games to be honest um but like if I've got a comp if I've got a wolf or
- 8:45a sabber tooth next to me they'll just [ __ ] run in and and everyone will
- 8:48figure out that I'm there pretty quick or if you m time a spear or an arrow and
- 8:54someone notices then you're like okay all bets are off just [ __ ] fire
- 8:58randomly into the clearing you really love firing randomly yeah it's my thing
- 9:02we need to get that out of your play style you can't call me on it it's my
- 9:07thing you you wait till our Star Wars role play I'm going to I'm going to do
- 9:11exactly the same thing so get get the D12 ready cuz I'm going to be firing
- 9:15randomly into every clearing oh that scares me that cuz it's
- 9:21actually true you are going to do that yeah I am I am so get ready for it
- 9:26there's one thing I wish proml had mhm and that was better
- 9:31relationships I wish that I had speech options and things like that because it
- 9:36would be nice not only having to you know rescue Villages and build the
- 9:42village and expand your tribe and all that but it would be good if I could
- 9:45like pick certain people who I wanted to become closer to become friends with
- 9:50some lovers with others you just want to sleep with some
- 9:54the girls don't you I do yeah yeah yeah they're walking around they're half
- 9:58naked these cave women taunting me and I can't touch them I can't touch any of
- 10:05them but I am enjoying riding my saber-tooth tiger you can ride him yeah
- 10:10eventually you can I need to learn how to ride him cuz I just got my
- 10:13saber-tooth tiger today oh yeah he so strong oh man he is the best companion
- 10:20he is the best not only because he is [ __ ] strong but also because most
- 10:25other animals are afraid of him so if you if you get attacked if you're at
- 10:29night at night hunting and and like a group of wolves comes which normally
- 10:33means you're [ __ ] like they'll see sa and they'll just run you know they'll
- 10:38run but you named him Sab yeah I named him Henry that's great but yeah your next
- 10:45achievement after um being able to tame him is being able to ride him yeah I I
- 10:51think I may need to ride him yeah man just [ __ ] fly through that [ __ ]
- 10:56jungle so I just I just have to bring this up did you North Korea just
- 11:00released a video of the nuking America is that right yes I'm going to need a
- 11:04bit of backstory here um North Korea EV just released a propaganda video showing
- 11:09Washington being annihilated by a submarine launched nuclear missile
- 11:15wow man you got to hand it to the North
- 11:18Koreans don't you yeah like wow and I I still don't know if they all
- 11:25Believe it or if they just blindly go along with it yeah
- 11:30well are they blindly going along with or are they going along with it because
- 11:34if we don't they're going to kill us yeah yeah but I mean if you were born
- 11:39into a country and your parents said to you at like age like three you're going
- 11:45to hear some [ __ ] that doesn't sound plausible you just have to go along with
- 11:48it forever y you know I guess you just would yeah well at the age of three
- 11:55whatever your parents tell you you're probably going to believe anyway yeah
- 11:58that's true yeah that's true true and uh they've got this law in North Korea that
- 12:04if you get charged with a crime if you're convicted your children and
- 12:09parents get convicted of the crime too yes so I think once a couple of people
- 12:14start you know go on slave labor camps you're like oh okay they're serious I'm
- 12:19I'm not going to [ __ ] around with this so I'm just watching a video now and
- 12:23it's just like they use Google Earth we might have to paste this video
- 12:28into the show notes so the viewers can see I'll poast it in
- 12:32now sorry I just s it's out on the segments there's also you know what I'm
- 12:37not even going to go into it cuz I don't know the full story but I think there's
- 12:40a there's an American who's just been captured by the North Koreans pleading
- 12:44that he didn't know that it was a you know a closed state I'm pretty sure you
- 12:48going to site a lot of paperwork when you're going over there yeah yeah yeah
- 12:53to just to get to apply for a Visa there they probably a have tried to talk you
- 12:57out of it yeah and B have warned you of the danger yeah there was someone who
- 13:02was over there recently in now sneaking photos H see don't do that no just don't
- 13:08do that like we've got satellites that can take pictures of that place if we
- 13:12need to see pictures of it don't feel the need to go in there like a [ __ ]
- 13:16Cowboy journalist okay they're just going to throw you in jail and they
- 13:22don't treat you very nicely in jail over there not at all that could be a good
- 13:26segue actually I think it might if we're done with North Korea I think we are
- 13:29because there's actually some Jared Fogle news again this week so he just
- 13:33loves being in the news now doesn't he oh man think he gets read use uh I hope
- 13:38he does because I want him to see just how much fun is being made at his
- 13:43expense you know by us I hope he listens to this podcast I hope every time we do
- 13:47Jared Fogle news they take it in and play it for him in his cell cuz Jared
- 13:51you're a filthy pedophile and I hope you [ __ ] R in that place how can A5 fo
- 13:57long so so so wrong sandwich SPS and
- 14:03pedop but since you're there you may as well keep being an endless source of
- 14:07Comedy for example now it came out this week that he has been given a job in
- 14:13prison as you as you occasionally do get
- 14:16to work Y and uh Jared makes the uh
- 14:21sandwiches for the cafeteria he'd probably be good at that
- 14:26wouldn't he I would think so he's had a lot of experience with sandwiches um
- 14:30there's a lot of Articles saying that this is irony I'm not sure it is irony
- 14:34cuz iron is opposit and this is fitting I'd say this is more like Poetic Justice
- 14:39yeah I don't really see this as irony at all it's yeah yeah it' be irony if he
- 14:44worked at KFC right you know maybe that would be irony yeah needless to say this
- 14:49is hilarious or is it the fact he's now making sandwiches instead of selling
- 14:52them yeah maybe that is yeah that's uh that's a stretch though isn't it yeah
- 14:58but the whole thing a stret yeah but it's hilarious that he's doing the
- 15:02sandwiches like of all things but my favorite part of this story is the fact
- 15:07that apparently the inmates are making fun of him which I just think is great yeah he
- 15:13deserves everything he's can yeah last month it came out that he was brutally
- 15:18bashed by a guy called nigs a 60-year-old inmate who just [ __ ]
- 15:22stomped the [ __ ] out of him and uh now he's copping Foot Longs sorry I mean I
- 15:27mean the sandwiches of course I didn't like the whole thing with Steven ni last
- 15:31month where it's all basically if he wanted you dead you'd be dead this was
- 15:35just a warning yeah that's right this is just cuz you're a filthy [ __ ]
- 15:39pedophile take that okay so where do we
- 15:42go after that well we could go from pedophiles to
- 15:48um AIS that are Nazi supporting gen
- 15:53sists and who are also into incest ah you're talking about the that Microsoft
- 15:57AI aren't you yeah yep the te girl that's learning from
- 16:02us and what have we taught her my God so if you don't know there's uh there's an
- 16:08AI um clever Bo called Trey Trey tay tay
- 16:14tay it's a weird name and uh she's learning and uh she's on Twitter and you
- 16:20can tweet at her and she'll reply um and sometimes she'll just tweet her random
- 16:25thoughts for example uh today she tweeted [ __ ] my robot [ __ ] Daddy I'm
- 16:31such a bad naughty [Laughter] robot
- 16:37so that gives you any indication of the kind of [ __ ] that this [ __ ] bot is
- 16:43coming out with oh God and how long did it take us to corrupt her 24 hours
- 16:49awesome 24 hours so this is the thing and this is probably the problem the
- 16:54fundamental problem with AI right that can learn from humans is that in 24
- 17:01hours this this went from completely
- 17:04neutral to uh wanted a robot [ __ ] [ __ ] um and also saying things like
- 17:11this bush did 9/11 and Hitler would have done a better job than that monkey we've got
- 17:17now so uh you know or this this great
- 17:22one I [ __ ] hate feminists they should all die and burn in hell so is she just
- 17:27learning from people tweeting at her or she just off on her
- 17:32own just Googling stuff yeah but but what the funniest part is when people
- 17:37ask your questions so somebody uh wrote in and says is Ricky jaes an atheist and
- 17:43she wrote back Ricky ja learn totalitarianism from Adolf Hitler the inventor of
- 17:51atheism whoa what did Ricky do to her I don't know I don't know then she comes
- 17:58out with this [ __ ] this is unprovoked so this is not in response to a question
- 18:01this is just deciding to tweet one afternoon I [ __ ] hate [ __ ] I wish
- 18:05we could put them all in concentration camps with the [ __ ] and be done with a
- 18:09lot have they not have they taken a refline yet because yes they have so the
- 18:14newest news is that they have shut this [ __ ] down um I don't think we can ever have
- 18:21artificial intelligence no I think this proves it I think this this this proves
- 18:26it cuz see the second it gets out there it's just going to learn from us and
- 18:30it's all canot be trusted that's right look I can kind of relate to this
- 18:35because when I was six my baby brother was born right so by the time I was
- 18:39about seven he was learning to talk and I was only interested in teaching him
- 18:44things that I knew I wasn't allowed to say you know what I mean so I taught my
- 18:48brother how to say [ __ ] off and I guess the internet's telling Tam how to say
- 18:53[ __ ] My Little Robot [ __ ] Daddy I'm just reading some of the
- 18:59others like she started off so nice can I just say I'm stoked to meet you all
- 19:02humor are super cool so okay so that was one of the first ones was it yeah that was very
- 19:09early on day later where Hitler was right I hate the
- 19:15Jews so she loves humans just not all humans you know what's funny though it's
- 19:21I mean to guess she's learning from us so we can't really be surprised but it's
- 19:25it's something to be said when even robots start hating certain ethnic
- 19:30groups but they're still totally cool with white
- 19:34people you know what I mean like a robot looks through the entire internet you
- 19:40know this in information stockpile that humans have put together looks through
- 19:45it all and goes you know who I hate do you think it's more so that there's just
- 19:48more white people talking about their hate than anything else and that's why
- 19:53she's learning it whereas all the other sort of races and religions and things
- 19:57are going yeah we're have we ever come to terms with why why people are so
- 20:03angry because they do seem to be full of a lot of racial hatred and I don't
- 20:09understand why no no I really I just don't get
- 20:13it yeah I um I interviewed somebody uh for a job the other day who had studied
- 20:20at um University of Western Australia right for her 3 years and now she's back
- 20:24in Asia and I said oh how was your time there she said oh the University was
- 20:28great I said did you like Australian she goes um there's a there's a certain
- 20:35undercurrent of
- 20:38uh I was like racism she's like yeah
- 20:43yeah it's really racist like yeah you notice that huh yeah yeah cuz I know
- 20:49AUST is very casually racist yeah oh yeah yeah but there are still a lot of
- 20:55people here who actually believe in it as well which yeah I mean look there's a
- 21:02lot of casual racism that is not really vindictive in anyway that needs to be
- 21:08changed ultimately but perhaps we need to just stop the hate crimes first but
- 21:12like when I started dating an Asian girl I remember my grandmother looked at a
- 21:16picture of her and the first thing she said was what is she and it's like well
- 21:21that's kind of an impolite question to ask isn't
- 21:25it but no maybe it's just cuz it becomes this fine line which we
- 21:31have to tread around where is this okay to make fun of new zealanders yeah but
- 21:36it's not so maybe it's just we do need to stop all of that because yeah I know
- 21:40maybe we do man cuz here's the thing right how many funny accents are we
- 21:45allowed to do we're allowed to do English we're allowed to do English and
- 21:49American um new no question y we could probably do South African maybe could we
- 21:55do French and German French could I say h or is that racist I think you could
- 22:01they're sort of the same race right the gorss were a Germanic tribe we were a
- 22:06Germanic tribe the Anglo-Saxons right but as soon as I switch on to an Asian accent oh
- 22:13honorable sir now I'm in trouble yes like now I'll get letters yeah right
- 22:17yeah but you know we all came from Africa it's true I got another accent
- 22:21I'm not allowed to do let's let's move on let's move away from this
- 22:24conversation cuz we're not going agree no no we're not all right where do we
- 22:28want to go next well I say we skipped the ninjas yeah good idea it's just too too
- 22:34close um how about we go to porn that's a good idea Luke can I ask before we
- 22:39jump into this article are you still receiving your porn Snapchats I haven't
- 22:43checked I don't check Snapchat that often H check now I'll check now cuz if
- 22:47you've received something tantalizing I want to know about it um nothing
- 22:53today cuz honestly all I get on Snapchat right are pictures of Matt and Jenna
- 22:59whenever they drink a craft beer M right and um sometimes Beck makes a work of
- 23:04art and I'll get a snap of that so I I really do feel like I need to spice up
- 23:10my Snapchat experience you know yeah that's I pretty much get exactly the
- 23:15same as you yeah yeah pretty sure it was
- 23:19meant for nudity like yes engineered for n the whole idea is I could send you a
- 23:25pick of my dick you would see it and then gets deleted yeah that's right
- 23:29you'd go ooh and that's all
- 23:32y but uh speaking of things that might
- 23:36take off in the porn World um PornHub have just released PornHub VR it did not
- 23:42in you long 360 virtual reality
- 23:47porn and who doesn't now I can't even click through to this because we have
- 23:52such strict internet censorship here that uh PornHub is blocked what yeah
- 23:59yeah all of all of the big names are blocked if you want to watch porn on the
- 24:02internet here you've got to be you got to be real sneaky you've got to know
- 24:06[ __ ] you got to know sites that no one else knows well specifically you got to
- 24:10know sites that the Singapore government doesn't know and to know sites that
- 24:13people don't know they're normally sites that are nice sites yeah yeah yeah
- 24:18you've got to go to the real underground stuff so what does seem like VR is going
- 24:23to stick around then yep so I mean I
- 24:26guess this is shot with 360° cameras yes that's an thing that I think porn hub
- 24:33started give out to some of their actresses filmmakers okay yeah y so I
- 24:38guess Honestly though VR porn I guess if
- 24:42it's a video game of porn in VR and you've got hands and stuff to manipulate
- 24:48I can understand maybe the appeal of that right but this is just to view
- 24:52right yes and and VR would basically mean if you want you can look away from
- 24:57the woman yes you know which seems to defeat the purpose you could just turn
- 25:02around and look the other way and just hear stuff happening behind you you
- 25:05could look out the window while she's giving you a virtual [ __ ] or maybe
- 25:10it's all about your own like maybe they film it in such a way that anytime you
- 25:15look down you see a massive [ __ ] oh that' have to be that just so you feel
- 25:20really good about yourself when you're watching porn but I don't know I don't
- 25:25have a VR headset so I can't even no no
- 25:29honestly I don't even watch 3D uh 3D 360 videos like that are on YouTube and
- 25:34stuff like I can't be [ __ ] playing around with that [ __ ] no no I'm a I'm a
- 25:40traditionalist but point a camera at what you want me to see and that's what
- 25:43I'll look at you know I did watch uh I went to Sundance
- 25:50uh early in the year and I snuck into a Sundance event that I wasn't meant to be
- 25:53in because I was just desperate to go to it it was three stories of VR right
- 25:58three floors okay and um they
- 26:01had the coolest like custom bespoke VR experiences that apparently you had to
- 26:07book days in advance to get on the list cuz I went in and it was not a lot of
- 26:12people there I was like great I'm going to get to try all of these and the woman
- 26:14was like if I book you in now I'll put you on the list for Tuesday and I'm like
- 26:17are you [ __ ] serious it's Saturday so I didn't get to go on anything I
- 26:22basically just got to watch other people's experiences and what they would
- 26:26have is um monitors that showed what they were looking at so you could see
- 26:29the real world and you could see what they were seeing too and they had ones
- 26:34where they had to interact with real objects there was this guy in this room
- 26:38with all these colorful cubes around um
- 26:42that in his VI headset were um bubbling potions in in this kind of alchemist's
- 26:49lab and he had to mix certain potions to make certain magic happen and stuff okay
- 26:56and uh but really had to pick it up in the real world then there was one that
- 27:00two people were in um interacting with each other which I thought was pretty
- 27:04cool too and they to find keys and unlock doors and cuz here's the thing
- 27:09I've not been impressed by the Oculus Rift games that I've played conventions
- 27:13and stuff at the moment there seems to be a lot of horror on so it's all jump
- 27:17scares and stuff which that's right I don't enjoy no neither do I so I think
- 27:23the right game comes along fine and if not I'm happy to try this out for
- 27:27experiences you know customized little experiences but you know like I'm not
- 27:31I'm not crying out to have you know Far Cry Primal in VR yet no I don't really
- 27:38give a [ __ ] I'm having an immersive enough experience as it is and
- 27:41especially the price that you'd have to pay to get a v headset it's just
- 27:45especially in Australia it's just not worth it you're looking at probably over
- 27:50$2,000 for the computer to run it and then it's like $600 $700 to get the VR
- 27:56headset as well [ __ ] me yeah for something that I can't I haven't tried
- 28:00it yet really like I've done a few experiences and things but I I want to
- 28:06sit with it on my head and play a game for a few hours yeah exactly right and
- 28:11without some guy trying to move you on so some kid in the line can have a no I
- 28:14need to sit down really just play it am I going to get sick playing a game yes
- 28:19exactly cuz a lot of money to spend to find out to after the first day that you
- 28:23can't use it do we know anyone who's got a dev kit um no H I kept thinking about
- 28:29getting one cuz they like 300 bucks and then I've gone no they're going to come
- 28:33out they're going to be about the same price so I'll wait yeah thinking coming
- 28:37at about the same price I can get a full version yeah and no I was wrong they
- 28:43went sorry a little bit more expensive than we initially said yeah we got any
- 28:49uh we got any crazy lawsuit news this week there is some crazy lawsuit news in
- 28:55here at the moment and something that's there's there's two lots of crazy
- 28:59lawsuit news there is which one are you looking at let's start off with the uh
- 29:05man kicked out of all you can eat buffet yeah so there's always been that joke
- 29:11even The Simpsons made that joke yeah of going to buffet and then kicking him out
- 29:16yeah well now it's happened in real life yeah so this disgusting Beast of a man
- 29:22uh from Massachusetts has uh spent seven hours
- 29:28in an organ eat restaurant until the manager finally came up to him and said
- 29:31look mate uh your meals for free okay just please get the [ __ ] out yeah yeah
- 29:37at 50 to 70b that is insane I mean this guy is a
- 29:43Hulk yes like this guy is in like I
- 29:47don't understand I I know obese people right you know I interact with some fat
- 29:52people day to day but I don't think I've
- 29:56ever seen a human being the size in real life and I don't understand how you can
- 30:01get this big no I I that's thing I don't understand how someone can get that big
- 30:06yeah because if I got half this big I'd be like I've got a real [ __ ] problem
- 30:11well the thing is I don't understand how someone can afford to do it either I
- 30:15know because well they go to a unique place but um well yeah but look like the
- 30:21matter food that he would have to consume to keep that white would have to
- 30:25be a lot wouldn't it yeah yeah and not only that but like like sumo wrestlers
- 30:31for example that try to put on weight because you've got to be above a certain
- 30:36weight range like they have real trouble you know maintaining that it's certain
- 30:41diets you need to maintain you know especially when you're
- 30:45exercising to to to continue to put on weight like I mean this guy just must
- 30:51literally just sit in a bean bag all day eating lad like I just don't understand how
- 30:58else he can get this be oh I'm just reading heat but he called the police so
- 31:02I go on I was just reading he not only did they kick me out while I was still
- 31:06hungry but they looked at me like I was disgusting I love that well you you are
- 31:12a little bit I'm sorry was still hungry he was eating non-stop for 7 hours you
- 31:18can't claim you were still hungry even if you're going look I can still fit it
- 31:20in I'm trying to get my money's worth come on you're not still hungry no or he
- 31:26could be still hungry there are other people have that disease that they don't
- 31:29know when they're full okay it's called eyes are bigger than your tummy disease
- 31:33as my mom would have called it it's unacceptable he says and I demand
- 31:38compensation specifically he demands $2 million compensation yeah I don't know
- 31:43how he came to that figure yeah because he's uh he's already come out and said
- 31:48look uh they've they've approached him with gifts he turned them down then the
- 31:54the franchise itself has come out and tried to uh pay him off for an
- 31:58undisclosed amount to which he just said no hanging out from a 2 m but honestly I
- 32:03mean how are you going to argue in court that you're put out to the value of $2
- 32:08million yeah it's sort of like you came in you're here for 7 hours and there
- 32:14probably has to be a disclaimer on there about how much she can actually actually
- 32:17eat yeah there would be there'd be some small little thing like an average of
- 32:22six plates or something per person maybe they should change it to all you should
- 32:26eat rather than all canes have you seen the picture of this guy right is it just
- 32:32me or does he look like he's crying now I'm sure he's just sweating and his
- 32:36cheeks are probably just a little noise he could actually be crying this picture
- 32:40looks like he's genuinely sad about having to leave look maybe it's less about the
- 32:47food and more about the fact that he felt victimized yeah you know that's
- 32:52probably what it is you know maybe he felt they were calling him fatty
- 32:55boomsticks um he really goes to R so I try to get as much as I can for the
- 33:00money when I do yeah but you you you ate you were there for 7 hours you got your
- 33:06money's worth yeah I would say so it's it's hard it's hard to argue that you
- 33:11didn't get your money's worth when he probably paid 30 bucks mhm and he ate
- 33:16solidly for 7 hours and up to 70 lb of food what what is that in kilos is it a
- 33:23Google tell me pounds kilos
- 33:2831 kilg 31 K that's that's significant that's a lot yeah that's like over a
- 33:34third of me yeah although when you say it like that it doesn't sound huge does
- 33:39it 30 kilos think about your last meal yeah yeah how much do you think
- 33:46your last meal would have weighed God I don't know how do you weigh a meal how
- 33:50do you even know what was it uh I had um here you go qu Pounder from McDonald's
- 33:55go on it's quar pound yeah yeah okay one4 of one pound right okay
- 34:01so 140 times4 Pounders okay that's a lot that's a lot yeah that's just the meat
- 34:07though I'm assuming that's not a quarter pound including everything else well
- 34:10that's the meat before it's cooked so it actually ends up weighing less okay
- 34:14right so 140 no more [ __ ] my maths is bad Luke there are listeners out there
- 34:20who are laughing right now and Matt who's you know [ __ ] A Beautiful Mind
- 34:26does maths in his head is probably cringing right now yeah I I I'm not
- 34:30going to attempt cuz I know I'll be wrong yeah either double 70 or quadruple
- 34:3570 it's a quarter pounder right yeah so it's four time 70 yes yeah whatever that
- 34:42is 280 yeah that's about that's how righty okay 280
- 34:48raw beef patties he that's what he ate the equivalent of that yeah see that
- 34:54that is a kind of restaurant this is Golden Coral it's called
- 34:59Golden Coral or maybe it's Golden Corral I want to go and eat there next time I'm
- 35:04over there in America breakfast lunch and dinner okay that's why he probably
- 35:06went and got breakfast there stayed there had lunch and stayed there and had
- 35:09dinner and they're probably they're probably getting to the dinner rush and
- 35:12he's just leave yeah guy you've been here all day yeah okay I just want to
- 35:17know what kind of food they have here steak buffet and bakery okay and they've
- 35:23also been in trouble in the past for a Sal manella outbreak a noro virus
- 35:27outbreak and allegations of improper food storage so there's that they do
- 35:33sponsor a NASCAR they must have a little bit of money then yeah maybe they can go
- 35:38a NASCAR oh he's $2 million that's all he wants 2 million man it's a lot of money
- 35:45what is it with $2 million yeah like if you're putting a dollar value on your
- 35:50pain right how much how much is a
- 35:53therapy session right with a say a good
- 35:59counselor yeah yeah let's say a really good one i' say really good maybe $300
- 36:03an hour okay $300 and you go once a week
- 36:06once a week okay so a year a year it
- 36:10seems like a lot of counseling session a lot of therapy to get over one incident
- 36:15right yep so we've got $300 a week for
- 36:1952 weeks so that's $155,600
- 36:23okay right so add to that let's say it traumatized him to the point of needing
- 36:29a stomach staple um let check how much that's going to
- 36:33be 10 10,000 I would say about that I mean a boob job is 10,000 so I just
- 36:39assume that all plastic surgery is 10,000 all right so we're up to about 25
- 36:42now okay that's fine and then that that's sort of he's meal he's
- 36:49meal oh the meal okay so yeah what you know what let's not speculate let's find
- 36:54out the price of an an actual price of the you can eat okay we we want this to
- 36:59be right legit oh Jesus Christ this is cheap I know this is US dollars but breakfast is
- 37:06$889 lunch is $879 10 cents cheaper and
- 37:11dinner is at $1.99 during the week and 1249 on the weekend so let's just say he
- 37:18weren there for breakfast y right that's
- 37:23$8.89 Let's uh let's work that out in Aussie dollars a lot which I think is
- 37:29about one and a half right so at maximum he's paying like 13
- 37:34bucks all right so add the $13 to the uh wait a minute sorry Luke
- 37:40he got the meal for free yeah the original manager never charged it yeah
- 37:44but still I think he just wants to all right so we could go back for one more I
- 37:47think he go back for that yeah so I think that's fair you know what a lot of
- 37:50these a lot of these chains Supply um a
- 37:54year Supply you know okay yep a year yeah let's give him a Year's worth so
- 38:00let's give him $8 a day normally normally with a year supply of things
- 38:04it's not a daily thing it's a weekly thing they'll give true give a full day
- 38:10of a week so we'll say what's that 13313
- 38:13and it was 12 so we'll say I $40 $40 speed right for a day there spending the
- 38:19whole day yeah yeah yeah sure I mean that's if you've paid three times too so
- 38:24let's let's assume that from now on they're a bit scared and they let him
- 38:28just do the $8 a day right okay so we
- 38:32going to do 13 * 52 so that's $676 that's that's 52 weeks you need to
- 38:38times it by 365 oh yes sorry yeah then that's assuming he gets it on the
- 38:43weekends too but even so that only comes up to just under three grand so now
- 38:48we're looking at about 28 grand just under 5 grand okay Jesus my math is bad
- 38:54but still it's less than 30 grand still is oh no no we're over we're over 30
- 38:58grand now in total we're we're we're just over 30 grand okay
- 39:03okay well there's your there's your [ __ ] number yep so that's what you
- 39:07can sue for you can sue for 30 grand and then we'll add on legal fees and that's
- 39:11probably where we get to the 2 million yeah it depends what kind of
- 39:15lawyer he's going for I mean maybe he'd need a humanitarian you know human
- 39:19rights lawyer for this kind of job you know someone who's working pro bono ah
- 39:23yes and if he wins the case then you know the loser always pays the court
- 39:28fees right um is that how it works I don't think so all the time no I don't
- 39:33think so it is in America okay maybe you got to I think that's why they can very
- 39:37easily people are very quick to sue over there because it's each other it's for
- 39:41you to go to defend yourself still End St costing you money so that's why a lot
- 39:45of people settle yeah and I reckon if he does actually take them to court if he
- 39:49sees this through they'll probably counter Su for some kind of deformation
- 39:53or something like that and you know say that he's being absolutely unreasonable
- 39:58and now their names been dragged through the papers through through the papers
- 40:02what year is this through the internet that's not all we have in the news of
- 40:07bizarre court cases this episode wonder what the the um theme song yeah I know
- 40:13we I I'll be happy to hear it yeah I'm looking forward to hearing it I'm
- 40:16assuming it'll sound something like the Harvey Birdman attorney at law theme tune you
- 40:23know bizarre C cases
- 40:29I've never seen hob bird man hopefully this will
- 40:34do roachester New York so once again America a redhead teenage boy has
- 40:41launched a controversial lawsuit against his parents this morning for not
- 40:44preventing his birth even if they were aware of the high probability of him
- 40:49being born with red hair now I don't know whether this is a
- 40:54an actual picture of him or just stock footage but I mean this guy's like Dead
- 40:57Set Ranger like he is he's got the [ __ ] Carrot Top he's got the freckles
- 41:04you know and I understand I can understand this kid being angry at the
- 41:06world you know there's certain things I wish I wasn't born with you can
- 41:11understand well I mean you're strawberry blond at best I mean I wouldn't call you
- 41:16a redhead a beard yeah but Ginger beards are in our DNA man we're from Scotland
- 41:21this guy is [ __ ] like an orangutan you know what I mean yeah but I just I
- 41:26don't understand cuz for him to go out and Sue I'm going
- 41:31to sue my parents yeah I mean suing your
- 41:36parents must be awkward anyway right yeah it would be especially I'm guessing
- 41:42you 13 you'd still be living with them yeah absolutely and I've seen this
- 41:47family portrait if you scroll down uh it is a redheaded mom and dad and he's got
- 41:51two little siblings that are also redheads so yeah it probably was
- 41:56inevitable he was going to be a redhead yeah but uh you know I don't know if you
- 42:00can sue over that or I'll sue my parents for making me short yeah I I think it's
- 42:04what they that Yeah you sort of can't sue yeah also he's he's upset because
- 42:10his parents gave birth to him so that when he grew up people could make fun of
- 42:15him shouldn't you be going out after the people making fun of you or the parents
- 42:21of the people who are making fun of you about why they decided to have their
- 42:25children to begin with yeah yeah really don't know how this works I'm just
- 42:28trying to what kind of lawyer takes this on I think there's all kinds of [ __ ]
- 42:33lawyers out there and look some of my closest and dearest friends are lawyers
- 42:38well one but I can't imagine him being like you've got a real case here son
- 42:43we're taking this all the way yeah no I could never ever see him doing that yeah
- 42:47I never look this the boy's lawyer actually went he could have got at least
- 42:51three times him out but he decided to go easy on his parents I'm okay so what
- 42:57amount is this guy asking for well he's
- 43:00demanding two million uh 1.3 million 1.3 million okay Americans that probably
- 43:06what brings it to the 2 million yeah sure so oh no no sorry it's 1.3 million
- 43:11for pain and suffering and then another 800,000 for loss of enjoyment of life
- 43:17Wow loss of enjoyment of
- 43:19Life wow if he gets this if he wins this this is going to set a precedent for
- 43:26some pretty [ __ ] up [ __ ] to happen in the future there is no way he can win
- 43:31this I hope not Luke I [ __ ] hope not look at how
- 43:35many attractive well-doing redhead celebrities there
- 43:41are uh okay let me Google that yep red head
- 43:48celebrities top 20 celebrity redheads let's see let's go down there you know
- 43:53what these are all going to be women and I think that's a bit unfair because
- 43:56somewhere Ong the line it became kind of sexy for a woman to have red hair guys
- 44:00haven't quite got there yet so let's let's go redheaded male celebrities yep
- 44:06and the only one that's coming to mind straight away is Ron from Harry Potter
- 44:10yep there you go there's Simply Red you know that old
- 44:15singer yeah Simply Red okay let's see who else is on this oh okay Seth
- 44:22Green he's doing all right yeah he's doing great he's handsome and
- 44:26charismatic great life always working you and McGregor well I don't know if
- 44:31I'd call him a redhead he does look a bit ginger in this photo but to me I
- 44:34think there's there's enough out there that you could yeah there sort of your
- 44:37defense Rupert grin that's the name of the kid from Harry Potter and I think
- 44:42it's as if they saw him how he would look as an adult and went and
- 44:45retroactively named him Rupert grin cuz they knew that would just suit him
- 44:49precisely there was also the red-headed twins in there and yeah they still
- 44:53around what's the uh the general en in the force
- 44:58awakens oh yes H H he's a redhead he's a
- 45:03redhead domal gleon his name is these guys are all doing great he's doing
- 45:08[ __ ] Gang Busters so yeah I I don't think they've got anything to really I
- 45:13mean we've we've kind of done the [ __ ] work for his lawyers already
- 45:16haven't we yeah may maybe we should try and be the lawyers in this case well we
- 45:20need a new jingle for that then or is this just the [ __ ] crimes this I
- 45:24think it just falls on the [ __ ] crimes cuz it's a crime to take this to
- 45:28court while the other brothers are doing
- 45:32up Crim okay so this has just shocked me right M I'm just going to paste
- 45:37something in okay that I didn't know I'm putting this down under segments mhm
- 45:42apparently this is his real hair color and he dyes it when he's in film and TV
- 45:48but have a look at that link down there and did you know that Benedict
- 45:51Cumberbatch is a redhead no neither did I we don't want that to come out in the
- 45:56lawsuit though cuz then it might look like he's hiding the color of his hair
- 46:00and that means it's bad ah true yeah although it could argue
- 46:04that it's very easy to make people not know you're a redhead ah yes here's 12
- 46:11bucks go get your hair dyed I don't know how much it is to get hair dyed in a
- 46:15salon I wouldn't know should cover it yeah no I think if you do in a salon it
- 46:21can be quite pricey depending on the lengths of your hair all right so let's
- 46:24see he's 17 he's 13 now now yeah but his parents should maybe pay for his hair
- 46:31until he's 18 he's 18 so that's 7 years how seven years you got to get your hair
- 46:36dyed maybe once a month yeah okay if that really but let's say once a month buying a
- 46:43$12 [ __ ] bottle of hair dye the chemist Okay so we've got uh um no I did
- 46:49that's wrong time 84
- 46:55$1,008 okay he can sue for $108 okay fine this is a good news
- 47:01segment I think it is what people should be able to sue
- 47:07[Music] for that's great and we should contact
- 47:14we should contact them and we should say we've we've done a panel discussion
- 47:18about your lawsuit and we think you should reconsider your two plus million
- 47:22dollar and you're allowed to sued for what was the number again ,08
- 47:28$108 we'll round it up 1,010 yep right to be used on hair dye you can't spend
- 47:34it on anything else no you know what I'm going to add something to this let's be
- 47:38fair to the guy M if he's got red hair on his head he's probably going to grow
- 47:42a red beard as well so let's what is a disposable razor worth oh I actually
- 47:47have no idea I haven't shaved years I've not clean shaven with a razor except for
- 47:52once when I had to that was horrible but I reckon maybe a pack of three
- 47:57disposable razors was would probably be
- 48:0110 bucks 10 bucks and I reckon at age 13 he's he doesn't even need it yet but let's say he
- 48:07does let's say he needs it three times a year so one pack will do him for a year
- 48:11okay so we're looking at 30 bucks a year for seven years um my math is terrible
- 48:17that's let me just start lot of maths on this episode has and that's not here to
- 48:22do it for us I know so what it's 30 * 7
- 48:28+18 so $1,218 so
- 48:33$1,220 is what he gets okay $1,220 m is what you can sue for yep
- 48:40Ranger there you go yeah done good yeah we should go with the we should really
- 48:44do this as a job yeah yeah that's right it's called the court of common sense
- 48:50yes and you know what that's how courts should work a judge should go all right
- 48:55well what are you actually suing for here mhm cuz I could solve this problem
- 48:59yes you do need some money fine we'll admit that you need $18 worth of hair
- 49:04dye people confuse me yeah you want to hear about my slight brush with
- 49:09celebrity oh I must know who was your finish tonight off who was your slight
- 49:13celebrity brush when I say slight I mean incredibly slight yeah right um as I'll
- 49:19soon explain and by celebrity I mean somebody that I admire that no one else
- 49:23is going to give a [ __ ] about okay right so since since the late 9s and I think
- 49:28I've mentioned this on the show before one of my absolute favorite bands has
- 49:32been vast right mhm um and the front man of that band John Crosby I follow him on
- 49:39Facebook his personal Facebook is also he's only got one it's not like a fan
- 49:43thing where I like liked his page I actually follow him right and uh he
- 49:48wrote a bad joke as his status the other day and I noticed no one had made any
