People blame God for all kinds of stuff. Sickness, calamity,

disease. He didn't do it. And I'm going to prove it to you in today's broadcast.

and she said my stomach is good and i waited for the whole day and i said,

Sometimes God gets a bad rap. God gets credit for stuff he never did.

And so I just felt like I wanted to share a few things with you today,

biblically, so that the next time, maybe you're tempted to blame God or somebody

you know, you can look at this and go, wait a minute, I just remember I heard

a teaching and God didn't do it.

He didn't do it. God didn't do it. He's not guilty. He's not the one doing bad

stuff. And so unless you read this in the Bible, you're not gonna know,

but today you're gonna know, amen?

All right, let's get to my godly hex thing. All right.

So some people, they blame God for all kinds of stuff. They blame God for sickness.

They blame God for calamity. They blame God for tragedy. And so let's just address sickness real quick.

In the Bible, we talk about in 1 John 3, 8, it says, for this purpose,

the Son of God was manifest to destroy the works of the devil.

Sickness is a work of the devil.

John 14, 9.

He said, he that sees me sees the Father. So when you watch Jesus,

that's the will of God in the earth. So you can't say God doesn't want to heal

because Jesus heals people.

You can't say God wants people to stay sick because Jesus didn't leave someone sick that asked him.

So these things are important when somebody blames God for something that you

look in the Bible and you figure it out.

Today you're going to know. Amen, Holly. Acts 10.38, Jesus went about doing

good, healing all the world pressed to the devil.

God was with him. In Matthew 8, Jesus healed all who were sick.

Exodus 15, 26, I'm the Lord that heals you.

Psalm 103, who forgives your iniquities and heals your disease.

Hebrews 13, Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever.

So if God says, I'm the Lord that heals you, okay, that's what he says about himself.

But people tell you that God wants to make you sick.

Well, they both can't be true. So if God says, I'm the one that heals you,

well then he can't be a liar that's what it says he's not a man that he can

lie so if he says he's the healer he has to be the healer well then why am i

So, what about suffering? People say, well, sickness is part of suffering.

2 Timothy 3.2, In all these things, we live godly in Christ,

Jesus will suffer persecution.

You're going to suffer persecution, but not sickness.

1 Peter says that suffering for the Christian is part of it, but it's not a sickness.

Well, what about Paul's thorn? Well, 2 Corinthians identifies the thorn as a

messenger of Satan. It's not a disease. It says, I don't know why Christians

keep saying, what about Paul's thorn, as if it's a disease.

The Bible tells you it's a messenger of Satan. It was a person. It was a spirit.

What's up, Kenny? It was a messenger of the devil. So when people say God wants

you sick and they use Paul's thorn, you're listening to someone that does not

Paul's thorn wasn't a sickness. It's a messenger of Satan. That's a person.

It says right there, 2 Corinthians 12, 7, Paul's thorn is a messenger of Satan.

Job 3, 26, the thing that I greatly feared. Everyone wants to talk about Job.

All the trouble, he got double. Did you get double? Then you're not Job.

And Job was before the New Testament. And Job says the thing that I was afraid

What about destruction and tragedy? People, you know, like even your insurance

company calls a tornado an act of God. That's an act of God.

That's not an act of God. God is not coming in and wrecking people's homes and

But yet our insurance company says that's an act of God. No,

it's not an act of God. It's an act of the devil. They need to restructure that.

I came so they could have life more abundant.

I mean, it's just, you know, I don't really understand how we keep confusing

God doesn't do this stuff. God's not hurting you. He's not trying to kill you.

He's not trying to take away your children. The devil does that.

bad things happen. But if you are on God's side, then bad things don't happen. It's pretty simple.

Okay. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15, the last enemy that will be destroyed

is death. Hebrews 2.14, Jesus came to destroy the devil's power on earth.

God can bring comfort and redemption and good out of tragedy,

but he does not cause tragedy.

Poverty. Okay, here's the devils. They hate this one. Okay, let's talk about poverty real quick.

Some people have been taught that being broke makes them more spiritual,

but poverty is not spirituality.

Listen to this. Poverty can create desperation, exploitation,

trafficking, suffering.

You know, I was watching a documentary. It was God awful. And it was about organs

and it was about selling them.

I got to be real careful what I say because, you know, I'm on whatever.

But and they also people and took them from them like over money,

because people needed money.

They literally, and took organs. That's not good, that's a curse.

That's because people are poor.

You know, a lot of the problems and bad things you see in the world is over

poverty. Do you know in Africa, which I love.

In Africa, when we were on safari, we saw this just, man, this elephant was so beautiful, y'all.

He was just, he was so big and he was a gentle giant.

He didn't, he just looked at us and kept eating, but he was so big and so beautiful.

And his tusks just came to the ground, which makes him a target, you know?

Yeah, being broke made Kenny do wicked things for money. His tusks came to the

ground and then his trunk, you know, and he was swinging it real gently.

Well, in the front of the trunk had a giant cut. Now it was healed over, but it was all cut open.

Well, you know, that messes them up because they use their trunk for all kinds

of stuff. I think they use it to breathe, but you know, and it was cut.

And I said, what happened?

And he said, poachers did that. Well, in Africa, you know, they're really broke.

A lot of people are really broke.

And so they go out. I mean, you got to be half crazy, but these poachers go

in the middle of the jungle.

They don't care if it's a baby leopard, a baby lion.

They're going to fight a full-grown leopard or lion with a machete for money.

Because if they bring that to the poachers, they make thousands.

But that's because they're poor. So that's wicked what they're doing.

So poverty is not a good thing. Poverty is not holy. It's not God.

Deuteronomy 8.18, you'll remember the Lord your God. He gives you POWER.

See, you can't pray for money.

I need money. God gives you power to get wealth. He gives you power to get a

job. He gives you power to get an idea.

He gives you power to figure things out, but he doesn't just give you money.

He can, but he generally doesn't.

He gives you the power to gain wealth.

Psalm 112, speaking of the person who fears the Lord, wealth and riches will be in his house.

You know, I don't understand the dumb brains of people that say God doesn't

want you to have money. It's right there in the Bible. It's Psalm 112.

The person who fears the Lord, wealth and riches will be in their house. That's what it says.

So you know who doesn't like the prosperity gospel? Devils. That's who.

Devils. Because the devils know that if you get money, you'll have influence

and you can overtake the wicked people that have money. And the devil doesn't want that.

He wants you to be broke. He wants you to have nothing. He wants you to struggle

for the rest of your days.

So we're talking about things God gets blamed for, sickness and tragedy.

That's not God, that's the devil.

And now poverty. That's not God, that's the devil.

The blessing of the Lord makes rich. That's what it says. You can get mad till

the cows come home, but the Bible says the blood. Well, I don't have it yet,

So it's important that you, first of all, know the Bible. It's important that

you don't believe what people tell you.

And also, can I tell you a little secret? It's important that you don't believe

what you tell yourself, because sometimes you are telling yourself a false theology.

Well, maybe God's teaching me or maybe he, no, they're just read the Bible and

that's it. Stay, like Tiff Shuttlesworth says, start in the Bible,

stay in the Bible and finish in the Bible. That's what it says.

Start, stay, and finish. If the Bible doesn't say it, you don't line up with it.

So don't line up with, you know, you're trying to do better and you're still

struggling and people are like, well, God's trying to teach you something. That's not the Bible.

to his riches and glory. God's able to make all grace abound to you.

So look at Jesus in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Look at Jesus supplying needs.

And that is God. God is a healer, a deliverer, a prosperer. He is not a taker.

He doesn't do that. He has no desire in that.

God made you so full of life that originally you were going to live to be 900

prosperity and investing in the kingdom and that God wants me wealthy.

he's like, I'm happy, healthy, healthy, wealthy, and wise, or whatever he says.

because they made stupid decisions could come and get help and learn about money

investing finances and so they don't have to depend on some idiot wayward men for money,

but a rehab where we help people that are on drugs because they need help.

I'd want to do a full center for like youth and stuff like that so they can

up kids and just fly them around the country on a private jet and tell them

They can live a holy life and they can have good stuff. Because if you're a
