Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you, thank you for listening to us.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest. It's Wednesday, April eighth, sunny, skies,
- 0:13Speaker 1: highs in the low eighties. Looks like rain this weekend.
- 0:15Speaker 1: We're talking about that yesterday. Today's the seventh day of Passover,
- 0:20Speaker 1: and we are looking at a very fun and busy morning.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Just a couple of things to pepper in. Obviously your
- 0:26Speaker 1: favorite songs and the things that we normally do. But
- 0:28Speaker 1: we've got Sebastian Meniscalco coming on. Stand up comedy to
- 0:33Speaker 1: me is one of the hardest things to do in
- 0:35Speaker 1: entertainment to me, totally. I watched Kevin Hart's latest stand
- 0:39Speaker 1: up Peace energy level and hitting every word in a
- 0:45Speaker 1: rhythm like that. It's really remarkable to me. Broadway remarkable
- 0:48Speaker 1: to me, live performance remarkable. So this Sebastian Maniscalco, he
- 0:55Speaker 1: is one of my favorite comedians. I love his style.
- 1:00Speaker 1: I think he's great. Uh, he's coming on. Harry Styles
- 1:03Speaker 1: did a great impression of him on SNL. Here it
- 1:06Speaker 1: is here. This guy took the close and he walked
- 1:12Speaker 1: right out of the store. We got the security footage
- 1:19Speaker 1: and here's the real guy. So we pull up to
- 1:21Speaker 1: the house. We get out of the car.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Now we don't go right in because my wife's got
- 1:25Speaker 2: a coach made before we go into any social event.
- 1:29Speaker 1: So come up to the door. I ring the bell.
- 1:32Speaker 1: They came to the door as a couple. That bothered me.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Seein a love that guy. So he's coming up. He's
- 1:41Speaker 1: got a new song out, yeah with Steve Aoki. Who
- 1:44Speaker 1: saw that's coming?
- 1:45Speaker 3: Who ever saw that coming?
- 1:47Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:47Speaker 1: It's so bid que and Martinez. If you're wittier this morning,
- 1:51Speaker 1: round eight o'clock, he's going to stop at a random
- 1:53Speaker 1: gas station and buy your gas. That's just the beginning.
- 1:56Speaker 1: He's out buying free gas this morning. Here we start
- 1:59Speaker 1: there around eight o'clock. BTS tickets every single hour starting Kailani. Yeah,
- 2:06Speaker 1: how your first year of marriage goes could indicate how
- 2:08Speaker 1: likely you are to get a divorce. I am here
- 2:11Speaker 1: all ears, Sophia, you are not married. You are all ears.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Everybody else it's fine, Fanzi you married yet?
- 2:19Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 2:19Speaker 1: Right, Well there's enough of us represented here, so that's
- 2:24Speaker 1: coming up. Sistany've getting yourself now. I just want to
- 2:27Speaker 1: say you are a very disciplined, hard working, well balanced
- 2:33Speaker 1: human being.
- 2:34Speaker 6: Oh thank you that's so nice, very nice for me
- 2:37Speaker 6: to say.
- 2:37Speaker 1: And to celebrate, You'll want to make sure you had
- 2:39Speaker 1: plenty of pasta the other night at that Oh that
- 2:41Speaker 1: was a surprise. Now listen, I just also want to
- 2:45Speaker 1: say something that I've been guilty of over the years.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Don't be too rigid. Don't be too rigid, because you've
- 2:50Speaker 1: got a new rule for yourself. I know, share the rule.
- 2:54Speaker 6: My new rule is that I'm trying to completely turn
- 2:56Speaker 6: off TV or my phone at least thirty minutes before
- 3:01Speaker 6: and go to bed, like at a decent time because
- 3:02Speaker 6: I don't I like, we'll get stuck in a series
- 3:05Speaker 6: and then all of a sudden, I.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Look at you want to create that time for yourself.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Yes, I know. We get the kids to bed at.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Like eight something, then you want to create space.
- 3:13Speaker 3: I want some of my own time.
- 3:15Speaker 6: And sometimes it lingers into like eleven minnight, and yes,
- 3:18Speaker 6: I can pride myself. I'm like, oh, I only need
- 3:20Speaker 6: five hours of sleep.
- 3:20Speaker 1: But no, no, I think as you go through they
- 3:23Speaker 1: tell you that you know the docks, they'll tell you
- 3:25Speaker 1: to exactly now. They're saying sleep is more important than anything.
- 3:28Speaker 3: So I want to get that sleep, all right, so
- 3:31Speaker 3: just don't be too rigid.
- 3:31Speaker 1: If you make a mistake, make mistake. But I like it.
- 3:33Speaker 1: You know, it's funny about the phone. So I occasionally
- 3:36Speaker 1: because everybody says, don't put your phone near your head
- 3:38Speaker 1: in bed right time, and don't charge it near your head.
- 3:41Speaker 1: So I now have started to put in my bathroom.
- 3:43Speaker 1: And then last night I was so proud of myself.
- 3:46Speaker 1: There it is in my bathroom. I turn off my lights,
- 3:50Speaker 1: I light my incense, I crawl under my duvet, I
- 3:52Speaker 1: stack my pillows perfectly to watch something. I go to
- 3:56Speaker 1: HBO Max and there's a QR code.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Ah, that's the worse.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Now I gotta get up out of bed, go to
- 4:03Speaker 1: the bathroom, get the phone, come back to our code,
- 4:06Speaker 1: scan password, email. Distressed, the Court of Sool released anxiety
- 4:11Speaker 1: just to watch dt F Saint Louis.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Yeah, which did you get into it?
- 4:16Speaker 1: I'm worried about this show for me, I don't. I mean,
- 4:20Speaker 1: it's a bit like don't watch this with my mom. No,
- 4:23Speaker 1: definitely not. Don't watch this with Connie. Because she's asking
- 4:27Speaker 1: me for shows. I'm like, eh, you see Love Story. Yeah,
- 4:31Speaker 1: She's like yeah, I'm just finishing that one. Like well, don't, don't, don't,
- 4:34Speaker 1: don't watch everything you hear us talk about. I'll get
- 4:36Speaker 1: some good stuff for you. Damn. I there's a great
- 4:39Speaker 1: not Geo special on Polar Bears. Meanwhile, okay, I believe
- 4:45Speaker 1: it means so easy to fall in love on one
- 4:48Speaker 1: or two point seven kiss FM. So she admitted that
- 4:51Speaker 1: she had to put down social media for a little bit,
- 4:53Speaker 1: just too much. She basically said, ignorance is fine. Yeah,
- 4:59Speaker 1: I'm happy be to celebrate my ignorance when it comes
- 5:03Speaker 1: to what people think. And I thought about that with Olivida.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I thought, wow, you've heard that saying ignorance is bliss right.
- 5:10Speaker 1: And then you also hear smart people say, you know,
- 5:13Speaker 1: the more data, the better off, the better more more
- 5:17Speaker 1: thoughtful choices you can make. I kind of stuff. So
- 5:19Speaker 1: where are you like? Do you want all the facts?
- 5:22Speaker 1: Do you want all the information? Do you want all
- 5:23Speaker 1: the data? Do you want to make the thoughtful choice?
- 5:25Speaker 1: Or do you want to go with the flow of
- 5:26Speaker 1: the wind when it comes to the comments, I don't
- 5:31Speaker 1: want I mean, I don't know. Ignorance is good. It's okay, Tony.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I bring this up because Olivia Dean did it. Yes,
- 5:39Speaker 1: And have you heard. This is Tony's trying to get
- 5:42Speaker 1: off her phone and her apps for an extended period
- 5:46Speaker 1: of time.
- 5:46Speaker 3: For one for I did it, I gave them scrolling.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Okay, so forty hours doesn't even really count. Let's say
- 5:54Speaker 1: it does weekend. This okay, but she can't find This
- 5:57Speaker 1: is the problem. This is the real issue. Here's the root.
- 6:01Speaker 1: She can't pick the weekend because all the weekends are
- 6:03Speaker 1: too active social media.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Just do it this weekend.
- 6:05Speaker 4: No, so this weekend is my best friend's birthday, and.
- 6:09Speaker 1: There's always going to be something. But there's always going
- 6:11Speaker 1: to be something. I know.
- 6:12Speaker 4: I picked a weekend, so it's not this weekend. It's
- 6:16Speaker 4: next weekend, weekend two of Coachella.
- 6:18Speaker 1: But that's convenient.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I think if you were really wanting to put this down,
- 6:23Speaker 1: it would be bold of you to do it on
- 6:25Speaker 1: your friend's birthday and Coachella.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Yeah, why can't you do it this weekend and then just.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Because he controls her too much and catch up.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Next week on Coachella.
- 6:33Speaker 6: Oh you can still get all the infos is it
- 6:36Speaker 6: won't be in real time?
- 6:38Speaker 1: Yeah, we're here, we'll tell you. And to do it
- 6:41Speaker 1: in an incovenient time is to do it. To do
- 6:44Speaker 1: it at your convenience is not what.
- 6:46Speaker 4: I'm hoping is I do it on a weekend where
- 6:48Speaker 4: I feel good about it, and then I love the
- 6:50Speaker 4: feeling of it, So then I'd do it more often.
- 6:52Speaker 4: That's like the goal. If I did this weekend, I'd
- 6:54Speaker 4: be stressed. I'd be like, I need to post for
- 6:56Speaker 4: Sophia's birthday. I need to, like watch Whatchell.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Telling yourself, You'll be stressed. You will be stressed by
- 7:03Speaker 1: telling yourself you don't give up, you won't care. So
- 7:07Speaker 1: have you seen that book? There's a book called I've
- 7:10Speaker 1: read it but a long time ago.
- 7:11Speaker 3: It's orange, Yes, it's a yellowish orange.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Somebody in this trifecta of a talk needs to read it.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Talking about you.
- 7:19Speaker 4: You think I should give it up this weekend, not next?
- 7:21Speaker 1: I just think next.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Why don't you schedule Sophia's post?
- 7:26Speaker 1: Yeah, give to me, give me a password, I'll put
- 7:28Speaker 1: them up. You can do that. You can't.
- 7:31Speaker 4: I don't know how to do that.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I'll teach you.
- 7:34Speaker 1: We have we have an entire it department can help
- 7:36Speaker 1: you anyway. Let's see what happens.
- 7:38Speaker 3: But do it this weekend feels crazy.
- 7:42Speaker 1: You can do it, beauty, that's the beauty.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Did I do it?
- 7:45Speaker 1: Do you guys?
- 7:46Speaker 3: Do you think I could do it?
- 7:48Speaker 1: Yeah? I know you can. You very know you can.
- 7:50Speaker 3: When you put your mind to something, you can do it.
- 7:52Speaker 4: So let's say Friday morning, after the show ten am
- 7:55Speaker 4: till Monday morning.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Why does it have to be after the show? Start
- 7:58Speaker 3: Friday morning the minute you wake up? Nose growing? No, nothing,
- 8:02Speaker 3: You're done.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I'm bored of this conversation. It Just do it. We're
- 8:05Speaker 1: coming back a kiss one two point seven kiss FM.
- 8:09Speaker 1: All right, I got a quote of the day here.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Yesterday's was so good. Did you remember yesterday's Yes? Who
- 8:15Speaker 1: was it?
- 8:16Speaker 4: I don't remember it exactly, but it was. It was
- 8:18Speaker 4: something about you do it. You keep doing it, and
- 8:22Speaker 4: then it becomes like a habit.
- 8:23Speaker 1: If you always keep showing up, the results will have
- 8:26Speaker 1: no other choice. Yeah, I loved it. Or here's another
- 8:30Speaker 1: one today. Somewhere someone is searching for you in every
- 8:36Speaker 1: person they meet. I love it. I'm gonna say it
- 8:40Speaker 1: again in a second now. I also read this if
- 8:44Speaker 1: you are in your first year marriage. Couples who have
- 8:46Speaker 1: been in an easy first year are most likely to
- 8:50Speaker 1: divorce later the first year because they don't have to
- 8:55Speaker 1: deal with it. They don't know how to deal with
- 8:56Speaker 1: the challenges later.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Yeah you had a rough first year's yeah, you're good.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Good. We didn't know that everything was hunky dory every day.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Well, no, we was fine with us. We just had
- 9:07Speaker 4: to navigate some difficult things together.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, yeah, I know. Yeah good. But then you're
- 9:11Speaker 1: then you're definitely solid. Love that today's quote again. Somewhere
- 9:17Speaker 1: someone is searching for you in every person they meet.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I don't totally believe it because I don't know, but
- 9:24Speaker 1: it sounds good.
- 9:26Speaker 4: You're somebody's dream man. I said it genuinely.
- 9:36Speaker 1: This is kiss Kiss, Kiss kids. It's because after seven
- 9:40Speaker 1: our intern show it out with the boys friends skeletor
- 9:44Speaker 1: and ran into n X an X of yours are
- 9:47Speaker 1: his of mine? Dreadful. I've had this happen too. All right,
- 9:52Speaker 1: let's get to it for Sisney the headline. FM headlines
- 9:56Speaker 1: with Sisy.
- 9:57Speaker 6: Well UCLA, We'll throw a celebration tonight at except poly
- 10:00Speaker 6: Pavilion to celebrate the Bruins women's basketball team after its
- 10:04Speaker 6: first ever NCAA championship. Firefighters quickly knocked down a fire
- 10:08Speaker 6: at the iconic Magic Castle yesterday. It's unclear how much
- 10:13Speaker 6: damage was done or how it started. Wild Life experts
- 10:17Speaker 6: in Ventura County are warning hikers to be aware of
- 10:20Speaker 6: rattlesnakes after six people were bitten in the last thirty days,
- 10:25Speaker 6: and Target is once again offering its customers a twenty
- 10:28Speaker 6: percent discount digital discount in exchange for their old car seats.
- 10:33Speaker 1: So Sophia our in turn, she found a photo strip
- 10:37Speaker 1: of her boyfriend with his ex and the cup holder
- 10:39Speaker 1: of the car the other day. We got past that.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I think it was just a mistake, just some laziness
- 10:44Speaker 1: on his part. Give it to him. We'll give it
- 10:46Speaker 1: to him that he didn't mean to put it there
- 10:47Speaker 1: and wasn't looking at him recently. So then all of
- 10:50Speaker 1: a sudden, the world of karma plays you, and you're out, Sophia,
- 10:54Speaker 1: the intern in the wild and you run into an
- 10:57Speaker 1: X of yours.
- 10:58Speaker 7: Yes, so skeleton and I I gave him a second
- 11:01Speaker 7: chance to look past the photo. We ended up going
- 11:03Speaker 7: out to dinner. I think it was like the next
- 11:05Speaker 7: day or something, and lo and behold, our waiter was
- 11:09Speaker 7: a guy I went on dates with like a year
- 11:12Speaker 7: and a half ago.
- 11:14Speaker 1: How did you handle it? I?
- 11:16Speaker 7: Oh my, it was so awkward because obviously, like we
- 11:18Speaker 7: immediately recognize each other. But thankfully, like nothing was said,
- 11:22Speaker 7: and I didn't say anything to Skeletor because I didn't
- 11:25Speaker 7: want to make it awkward.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Hmm. Good on you if you got If you got
- 11:30Speaker 1: through it without making it awkward, then you're good. My
- 11:33Speaker 1: instinct would have been to say something to Skeletor. That's
- 11:37Speaker 1: about how uncomfortable it is. That's my instinct. Now you
- 11:40Speaker 1: got through it, so you're fine. This happened to me.
- 11:42Speaker 1: It was summer vacation a few years ago. There we
- 11:45Speaker 1: get there at a hotel and inside the restaurant is an
- 11:50Speaker 1: ex with her new guy.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Oh you know which one?
- 11:56Speaker 1: Okay?
- 11:57Speaker 4: Okay?
- 11:58Speaker 1: And I thought, how do I play this? And I
- 12:02Speaker 1: told her that was my ex because I said, we talked,
- 12:06Speaker 1: I mean, we recognized each other. So we spoke and
- 12:09Speaker 1: I introduced and she introduced, and then we walked away.
- 12:12Speaker 1: And I said, obviously that was my ex, and we're good.
- 12:16Speaker 1: But what are the odds? What are the odds? Like
- 12:18Speaker 1: why I know, of all the places in the world
- 12:20Speaker 1: at this time on our vacation, Yeah, are we in
- 12:23Speaker 1: the same spot?
- 12:24Speaker 3: That is crazy, you're own vacation.
- 12:27Speaker 6: Yeah, I could have sound like a public like a
- 12:28Speaker 6: concert or something that like everyone else going to that
- 12:30Speaker 6: consoletely random spot.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Anyway, it broke the ice and everything was fine. You
- 12:36Speaker 1: made it through. But my guidance would have been speak up.
- 12:40Speaker 1: But you got through it, so all good. Don't go
- 12:43Speaker 1: back to that place anytime. So oh yeah, and did
- 12:45Speaker 1: the X try and reach out to you to say
- 12:46Speaker 1: good to see you? Thankfully?
- 12:48Speaker 7: No, I think you picked up that the vibes were
- 12:50Speaker 7: just so awkward and tense.
- 12:52Speaker 1: That good. We just left it at that. Good Then
- 12:54Speaker 1: everything is, yeah, great, all right, moving on? All right?
- 12:59Speaker 1: So I mean the stuff that I see it is
- 13:02Speaker 1: it looks legit. Fifty people use TikTok for health advice. Me,
- 13:07Speaker 1: can we just talk about a few things that struck me?
- 13:10Speaker 1: Face icing? Have you seen this? Now? I put my
- 13:12Speaker 1: face in salad bowls of ice water.
- 13:14Speaker 3: That's just yeah, like deep puff, be a deep puff.
- 13:17Speaker 1: So this is face icing. You free stuff like lemon juice, garlic, water,
- 13:21Speaker 1: or aloe into cubes and you rub them on your
- 13:23Speaker 1: face to reduce inflammation. It's not really safe. It's not
- 13:27Speaker 1: really safe. Plain ice can help with the swelling. But
- 13:30Speaker 1: the acidic stuff not good, can cause a rash or
- 13:33Speaker 1: irritation or burning, so don't put stuff in and be careful.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Ice is cold. Another one is diiy lipfiller on TikTok.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Have you seen this?
- 13:44Speaker 6: Yes?
- 13:45Speaker 1: All right, So using suction tools and bottles and cups
- 13:49Speaker 1: to plump your lips up instead of getting injections and
- 13:51Speaker 1: stuff like. No, no, do not create swollenness. It's not safe, Tanya,
- 14:00Speaker 1: do one mony these day TikTok health advice things face taping.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I thought of you face taping. I feel like you
- 14:06Speaker 1: do this.
- 14:06Speaker 4: So I don't do it. Currently. I tape my mouth
- 14:09Speaker 4: shut at night. However, I have friends that face tape
- 14:13Speaker 4: and swear by it.
- 14:16Speaker 1: If you just joined does She tapes her mouth shut
- 14:19Speaker 1: at night for what reason?
- 14:20Speaker 4: It helps you sleep so much deeper, no snoring, and
- 14:26Speaker 4: it helps you get sick less because you're not breathing
- 14:29Speaker 4: in all the germs in the air.
- 14:30Speaker 1: She says that with no medical clinical testing. FYI, So anyway,
- 14:36Speaker 1: this is where you tape your forehead to your eyes
- 14:41Speaker 1: and try and pull everything up to your eye.
- 14:45Speaker 4: No, it's special face tape, it's not. You just don't
- 14:47Speaker 4: use like scotch tape to tape it. And it's supposed
- 14:50Speaker 4: to be like botox be gone. It's supposed to help
- 14:52Speaker 4: you with your face wrinkles.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Yeah, you tape everything to pull it. I mean that
- 14:56Speaker 1: just sounds dumb.
- 14:57Speaker 3: No, doesn't it sounds it works.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Doesn't do anything but cause a rash. I guarantee you no. Yes,
- 15:04Speaker 1: I'm reading this from the doctors shot.
- 15:06Speaker 4: I start doing this, and I'm gonna do this.
- 15:09Speaker 3: With like your hair.
- 15:10Speaker 6: Anne Hathaway showed it on that she did it for
- 15:12Speaker 6: like the oscars.
- 15:13Speaker 3: You grab a little piece of your hair like this, and.
- 15:14Speaker 1: You doctor and he said it doesn't do anything. It
- 15:19Speaker 1: can cause skin irritation or reactions from adhesives. Okay, full stop.
- 15:24Speaker 4: I'm gonna start.
- 15:26Speaker 1: All right. We're gonna play for six legs Magic Mountain tickets,
- 15:29Speaker 1: a little local game here. Stuart, how are you in Ontario?
- 15:33Speaker 5: I'm great? How are you Ryan?
- 15:34Speaker 1: Doing well? Thank you? Shall we play Boulevard Avenue or street?
- 15:38Speaker 1: Let's do it Boulevard Avenue or street? All right, Stuart,
- 15:44Speaker 1: is very easy. I'm gonna give you a famous Los
- 15:47Speaker 1: Angeles road. You tell me if it's a boulevard an
- 15:51Speaker 1: avenue or a street. I'm better at boulevards than I
- 15:54Speaker 1: am streets and avenues. But let's see how it goes
- 15:56Speaker 1: for you. Three right before you get three wrong? And
- 16:00Speaker 1: the first one is Melrose is a what boulevard, avenue
- 16:04Speaker 1: or street?
- 16:06Speaker 3: That is avenue?
- 16:08Speaker 1: That's right? Yeah, that is right, Melrose. Okay. Next one,
- 16:12Speaker 1: Sunset is a boulevard, avenue or street? How I feel
- 16:17Speaker 1: like the world best? Yeah?
- 16:19Speaker 5: Yeah, that one's easy.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Lebrea librea, lebrea boulevard, avenue or street?
- 16:29Speaker 5: Avenue?
- 16:31Speaker 1: Wow? Yeah, Stuart, you got that, well done?
- 16:37Speaker 5: Oh, thank you very good.
- 16:38Speaker 1: You're totally welcome. You know, if we've really done my research,
- 16:41Speaker 1: I would have found out what the difference is in
- 16:42Speaker 1: an avenue, boulevard or a street. But I don't know,
- 16:44Speaker 1: do you know, Stuart?
- 16:46Speaker 5: Uh No, I don't.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Sorry, it doesn't matter. You're still gonna win. Congratulations, six flags, great,
- 16:54Speaker 1: Thank you so much. Thanks for listening, Mark. I figured
- 16:57Speaker 1: that was enough time for you to look it up.
- 17:01Speaker 8: The avenues are generally wide, tree lined urban routes that
- 17:05Speaker 8: run in pendicular off in north south to boulevards, which
- 17:09Speaker 8: are wider have a median strip.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Often what about an avenue at the Avenue is the
- 17:14Speaker 1: first one? What about North South? Everything else? Is the street?
- 17:17Speaker 1: Pretty much cool? That's awesome? All right? This is Kiss
- 17:22Speaker 1: More you Know on air with Ryan Seacrest. Katy Perry,
- 17:30Speaker 1: one of two point seven in his Kiss FM A
- 17:33Speaker 1: is number one hit music station, Ryan Seacrest here coming
- 17:36Speaker 1: up in a few minutes, we are going to have
- 17:38Speaker 1: Sebastian Menaeskalco on, one of my favorite stand up comedians.

- 17:46Speaker 1: it's actually really fun. Well, does your father know you
- 17:50Speaker 1: dance like that?
- 17:51Speaker 3: Does your father know you dance like that?
- 17:53Speaker 5: Good?
- 17:54Speaker 1: Father know you dance like that? That's how he talks
- 17:56Speaker 1: about dance like that? Does he dance like that?
- 18:00Speaker 5: Anyway?
- 18:00Speaker 1: I love the guy. He's coming up in a few minutes.

- 18:15Speaker 1: We have free gas. You've seen the prices. They probably
- 18:20Speaker 1: went up during the last song. Chewie Martinez is out
- 18:23Speaker 1: in Whittier. Where are you, Chewie?
- 18:26Speaker 5: Ryan? I'm right here on wind your boulevard in the
- 18:28Speaker 5: sixth oh five at the Arco station. Here, my girl, Lily, Lily,
- 18:32Speaker 5: my man running Seacrest wants to buy your gas. Is
- 18:35Speaker 5: that cool? Yes? Thank you so much, right, secrets, I
- 18:37Speaker 5: appreciate you so much.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Good morning, Lily, Thank you so much for listening to us.
- 18:41Speaker 1: How much gas do you need?
- 18:43Speaker 5: Fifty dollars?
- 18:44Speaker 1: All right, we'll give you more, yelling.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Up to the top.
- 18:50Speaker 6: Thank you so much.
- 18:51Speaker 1: What are you rolling in there, Chewie? What's she driving?
- 18:54Speaker 5: Oh? She's coming the Mercedes bro I might have found
- 18:57Speaker 5: the sugar mama over here, Lidi Broa, she got a
- 19:01Speaker 5: nice one. The cup holder.
- 19:06Speaker 1: That feels so bad for her. All right, it's not
- 19:08Speaker 1: the scene. Brother.
- 19:10Speaker 5: Yes, we're here, baby, We're all over La right now, man,
- 19:12Speaker 5: we're all over Get ready because we got gas for you.
- 19:15Speaker 1: All right. He's in Weedier this morning, rolling around. Look
- 19:18Speaker 1: for Chewy Martinez tomorrow when you wake up. He is
- 19:21Speaker 1: in down He's gonna surprise you one of the gas
- 19:23Speaker 1: stations in Downy here free gas one of two point
- 19:26Speaker 1: seven Kiss FM. Thanks Chewy. Yeah, did you get the lyric?
- 19:29Speaker 1: I think you got the lyric? On now? Well he
- 19:31Speaker 1: can sing that along next time Sebashi men a scout
- 19:33Speaker 1: going Steve Aoki. Yes, how in the world did that
- 19:37Speaker 1: song happen?
- 19:39Speaker 2: You know, me and my buddy Freddie Wexler, who I
- 19:42Speaker 2: work with. He's kind of my creative director. He's in
- 19:45Speaker 2: the music business. We're closely with Billy Joel Bieber and
- 19:49Speaker 2: a bunch of Dufferin artists over the years. And we
- 19:52Speaker 2: went into the studio and we wanted to create something
- 19:56Speaker 2: for my tour, kind of like a personal song, uh,
- 20:01Speaker 2: for my it ain't right tour.
- 20:02Speaker 1: So we were just goofing.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Around in the studio and next thing you know, I
- 20:07Speaker 2: started doing this does your father know you dance like that?
- 20:10Speaker 2: It's uh, it's something that I've always said when I
- 20:13Speaker 2: go to nightclubs. You walk into a nightclub and you'd
- 20:16Speaker 2: see these gyrations and this that, and in my head
- 20:19Speaker 2: go does your father? And and then just kind of
- 20:24Speaker 2: making fun of the whole nightclub scene because you know,
- 20:28Speaker 2: I've been out of that scene for a while, and
- 20:31Speaker 2: now you go and and it's like sparklers and the
- 20:34Speaker 2: guy thinks he's got a shot with the waitress. You know,
- 20:38Speaker 2: it's it's it's it's this whole club culture that I
- 20:42Speaker 2: kind of made fun of and and I would just
- 20:44Speaker 2: I was goofing around on a microphone and next thing
- 20:46Speaker 2: you know, Steve Aoki heard the song. He put it
- 20:49Speaker 2: on his own spin on it. It's it's a catchy
- 20:52Speaker 2: song and I think people will enjoy it.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Sebastian, manascalco here, it's out that song? Are you wearing pajamas?
- 20:58Speaker 1: Did those short sleep but jamas? You got on here
- 21:01Speaker 1: this morning for us?
- 21:02Speaker 7: Uh?
- 21:03Speaker 9: You know what? Are you making fun of me?
- 21:06Speaker 1: Because I was making fun of you a.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Little bit.
- 21:10Speaker 3: About the turtlenecks.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I mean, he had a run at me because I
- 21:14Speaker 1: wore a turtle neck the other night.
- 21:17Speaker 9: No, I said you were a turtleneck quite well. You
- 21:21Speaker 9: don't see a lot of men pouring on over the
- 21:26Speaker 9: Adams after.
- 21:29Speaker 4: I agree.
- 21:31Speaker 1: All right, man, great to see you, Sebastian, thank you
- 21:33Speaker 1: so much for coming on. When will you? I mean,
- 21:35Speaker 1: I know that these things, you know, they take time
- 21:38Speaker 1: and it's a lot of work. Pay When will you
- 21:41Speaker 1: do another special another tour? What's on the schedule? Probably
- 21:45Speaker 1: twenty twenty seven. I'll start another tour right now. I'm
- 21:47Speaker 1: in the accumulating material phase. I just spent a week
- 21:52Speaker 1: at my in laws in Florida. So literally, it just
- 21:57Speaker 1: got back last night, so I'm trying to do a job.
- 22:00Speaker 1: It's it's similar to the Astronauts coming back to so
- 22:07Speaker 1: it's the crew of Artemis and you can relate, all right, saynybody,
- 22:13Speaker 1: thanks for coming on, take your care all right, it's
- 22:17Speaker 1: kiss miss Independent Neil see christ here all Tanya as
- 22:22Speaker 1: a smile on her face. Now, do you have a
- 22:23Speaker 1: question you're going to pose for us? Tanya? All right,
- 22:26Speaker 1: I do, all right. This is a trending report inspired
- 22:30Speaker 1: by influencer Alex Earle. Yes, and what is the question?
- 22:35Speaker 4: Have you ever sent a text to an ex that
- 22:38Speaker 4: you immediately regretted to an X, to.
- 22:42Speaker 1: A current to somebody just left yes, yes, and yes,
- 22:45Speaker 1: checking all the boxes. Why how can I help you?
- 22:48Speaker 4: So Alex Earl did exactly that. So she was on
- 22:51Speaker 4: the Drew Barrymore Show. Andrew asked her about a bad
- 22:54Speaker 4: idea that she recently had, and Alex said, probably texting
- 22:58Speaker 4: my ex at five in the morning after going out
- 23:00Speaker 4: not the best idea. So she described the whole scene.
- 23:03Speaker 4: She said, she had a few drinks, she was on
- 23:05Speaker 4: the floor looking at her phone with one eye her
- 23:07Speaker 4: sister was right next to her, helping her check the
- 23:09Speaker 4: spelling before she sent anything, and I feel like she
- 23:15Speaker 4: was on the floor. She was waiting for a microwave,
- 23:16Speaker 4: waiting for mac and cheese to heat up. But she
- 23:19Speaker 4: didn't name the.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Egg on the floor. I mean, I figured something was
- 23:21Speaker 1: going on, right, she had a few drinks. You're on
- 23:22Speaker 1: the floor. If you're waiting for mac and cheese and
- 23:24Speaker 1: the microwave laying on the floor, you've had a few,
- 23:26Speaker 1: right I am.
- 23:27Speaker 4: I'm giving you like the context of kind of like
- 23:29Speaker 4: where she was physically, but also mentally.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Why is such a big deal?
- 23:33Speaker 4: Because I feel like, with her sister being there, as
- 23:36Speaker 4: you as a sister, as a friend, you should stop
- 23:38Speaker 4: your friend from sending a text at five o'clock in
- 23:40Speaker 4: the morning to an X.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Maybe the sister had a few as well. I'm thinking
- 23:44Speaker 1: to myself, get autocorrect. You don't need your sister to
- 23:47Speaker 1: check the spelling. One two. Here's what happens. This is
- 23:51Speaker 1: what I've decided to do. If I ever text someone
- 23:53Speaker 1: and then the next day or whenever, I think to myself,
- 23:57Speaker 1: why did you do that? I just don't look at
- 23:59Speaker 1: what I sent, and I don't look at what they
- 24:02Speaker 1: responded to. I just don't look. I just text my
- 24:06Speaker 1: friends and say, feed me a bunch of texts, so
- 24:08Speaker 1: it goes way down on my screen. So even when
- 24:11Speaker 1: I scroll deep, I don't even see it because it's cringe.
- 24:14Speaker 4: It's exactly feeling is like the biggest pit in your stomach.
- 24:18Speaker 4: I've had to literally delete conversations because I cannot.
- 24:21Speaker 1: You can't go back and remember the one I bring
- 24:24Speaker 1: yourself to read.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Does sheer panic when you wake up in the morning
- 24:27Speaker 3: and then you just search for your form, like what
- 24:28Speaker 3: did I text last night?
- 24:30Speaker 4: Do you never when you said what I was with you,
- 24:33Speaker 4: it was we were at American Idol. You're or me, Yeah,
- 24:37Speaker 4: it just come from your show, and we were like
- 24:40Speaker 4: drinking at a bar and I sent like a basically
- 24:43Speaker 4: like a U up text yes, and I got crickets back,
- 24:46Speaker 4: and I was like, I need to literally sorry.
- 24:49Speaker 1: American Idol ends at seven o'clock. You went to a
- 24:51Speaker 1: bar afterwards? You sent you up at eight fifteen. Who's
- 24:53Speaker 1: texting at eighteen?
- 24:54Speaker 4: It was like eight thirty or nine or something.
- 24:57Speaker 1: I am that's weird. That's where in itself. You up
- 25:01Speaker 1: at eight therapy.
- 25:02Speaker 3: Didn't you make out with the person?
- 25:03Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 25:04Speaker 3: Okay, so there was like, you know.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Who did I not show up after show?
- 25:08Speaker 3: You missed the party. We had our own little after party,
- 25:11Speaker 3: and then we took a picture with your star on.
- 25:13Speaker 1: The Oh my gosh. All right, don't look back at
- 25:20Speaker 1: that night. Don't even look back at that night in
- 25:22Speaker 1: your calendar. Coming up next here on air with Ryan Seacrest,
- 25:29Speaker 1: It's Kiss FM. So I mean, honestly, doesn't matter what
- 25:32Speaker 1: we do or say. Everybody just wants these BTS tickets.
- 25:35Speaker 1: And that's the next thing I'm gonna do. First, I
- 25:37Speaker 1: want to grab Julie here. I have more BTS tickets
- 25:40Speaker 1: tomorrow starting at six'. Ten Julian sherman Oaks, julie good, Morning,
- 25:44Speaker 1: hi good. Morning the guy you're dating says he a
- 25:49Speaker 1: therapist told him he should keep seeing other. PEOPLE i
- 25:53Speaker 1: don't understand why is this therapist saying.
- 25:55Speaker 10: This, yeah So i've been dating this guy for about
- 25:59Speaker 10: a month and things have been going really. Well and
- 26:03Speaker 10: then the other day he hits me with we should,
- 26:05Speaker 10: talk which is never a good. Sign so we sit
- 26:10Speaker 10: down and he asks me What i'm looking, for like
- 26:13Speaker 10: something casual or a real, relationship AND i, Said i'm
- 26:18Speaker 10: dating with, intention Like i'm open to something serious if
- 26:22Speaker 10: it's the right. Person and then he tells me that
- 26:26Speaker 10: he wants to keep dating other. People and his reasoning
- 26:30Speaker 10: is that his therapist told him he should because he's
- 26:34Speaker 10: been a serial monogamous to his whole life and tends
- 26:37Speaker 10: to jump from relationship to. Relationships so NOW i don't, Know, well, wait.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Shouldn't this therapist be trying to get him away from
- 26:46Speaker 1: being a serial.
- 26:47Speaker 4: Monogamist that's, it that's what they're.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Doing, yeah how is the therapist doing? That therapist is
- 26:53Speaker 1: saying date other? People that isn't?
- 26:56Speaker 6: That so don't get into a serious, relationship just bounce
- 26:59Speaker 6: around date?
- 27:00Speaker 3: People right?
- 27:00Speaker 1: Now we a serial? Monogamist what is?
- 27:04Speaker 3: That somebody that it's like a muggt.
- 27:07Speaker 6: Branch you're like getting into like a three year long distance,
- 27:10Speaker 6: relationship a long, relationship and then you break up and
- 27:12Speaker 6: then you get into another.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Thing, well then what's the advice about then seeing a
- 27:19Speaker 1: bunch of different people so that she doesn't become another
- 27:21Speaker 1: one of the yes? Monogamies, Yes, julie, look you've got
- 27:28Speaker 1: a clear vision of what you. Want you said you're
- 27:30Speaker 1: dating with. Intention he's not dating with, Intention and this
- 27:34Speaker 1: therapist doesn't think he should date with intention because she's
- 27:37Speaker 1: saying tree branch or whatever that thing is, money monkey,
- 27:41Speaker 1: branch monkey. Branch SO i can tell you right, now
- 27:45Speaker 1: in this moment, today you guys are not. Aligned you're not.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Aligned don't force. It you know what you're looking. For
- 27:52Speaker 1: he's not.
- 27:53Speaker 3: It, yeah he's not.
- 27:56Speaker 1: It let him, Go let him. Go, yes it's a
- 28:00Speaker 1: blessing that is so clear where you. Stand good, Luck,
- 28:03Speaker 1: julie thanks for calling. THINGS i don't know WHY i
- 28:07Speaker 1: was not knowing what a serial monogamist.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Is, yeah you weren't putting the pieces.
- 28:11Speaker 3: TOGETHER i was.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Thinking that she should be getting him away from serial.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Monogamy BUT i guess she. Is but that doesn't seem
- 28:19Speaker 1: like a good plan. Either he's going to disdate a
- 28:20Speaker 1: bunch of people with no. Intent, yes, well that's bad.
- 28:23Speaker 1: THERAPY i mean that's.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Fun it's not bad.
- 28:25Speaker 4: Therapy if you are, know if you are a person
- 28:27Speaker 4: that's chronically in relationships and you don't know how to be,
- 28:30Speaker 4: single you should learn how to be single before you get.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Married wouldn't you rather be a person that sees one
- 28:36Speaker 1: person and commits and then sees the next and commits
- 28:39Speaker 1: versus seeing a bunch of different people at. Once, no
- 28:42Speaker 1: not if you're.
- 28:42Speaker 3: SINGLE i am.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Single i'd rather be the serial.
- 28:46Speaker 4: Monogamist but you know how to be, single like you
- 28:49Speaker 4: can stand on your own two. Feet there are people
- 28:52Speaker 4: that go from relationship to relationship because they don't know
- 28:54Speaker 4: how to be on their their codependent, dependent and that.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Is you, Know i'm not like.
- 28:59Speaker 3: THAT i think kind of a, Neat i'm for.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Sure oh, YEAH i want Like Megan trainer has her
- 29:05Speaker 1: husband fluss her. TEETH i want. That ah.
- 29:08Speaker 4: Yeah but you can be. Alone you've proven. It you're
- 29:12Speaker 4: alone right now and you're. Thriving i'm sitting with you
- 29:15Speaker 4: guys in a.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Room it's not. Alone and then later Tonight i'm On.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Hulu that's not alone streaming all. Right puffer fishing is
- 29:26Speaker 1: the new thing when it comes to dating. Trends are
- 29:30Speaker 1: you a puffer? Fish are you guilty of? It, basically
- 29:33Speaker 1: it's when someone starts to lash out or pull away
- 29:36Speaker 1: the second they feel. VULNERABILITY i THINK i have done this. Before,
- 29:41Speaker 1: like you're in until you're starting to feel, something then
- 29:46Speaker 1: you back you puff yourself, up back, out because for whatever,
- 29:50Speaker 1: reason you don't want to share that. Vulnerability the problem
- 29:54Speaker 1: is the, problem AND i think its neat you were
- 29:56Speaker 1: reading about. This the problem is when you are with
- 29:59Speaker 1: a puffer, fish you kind of want to react to
- 30:02Speaker 1: the puffing of the, fish the, puffering but you're not supposed.
- 30:05Speaker 1: To you kind of gotta let them puffer fish. Out.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Exactly they come back in and share that vulnerability with,
- 30:12Speaker 1: you and the wall comes down, right, yes.
- 30:13Speaker 6: Exactly you don't want to come at them and be
- 30:15Speaker 6: like are you mad at? Me like that type of,
- 30:17Speaker 6: vibe that energy is not going to work with a puffer.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Fish just let him do. It, NOW i think we've
- 30:21Speaker 1: all sort of puffer fished a little. BIT i, Mean
- 30:23Speaker 1: i'm afraid it's just like WHY i didn't want to
- 30:26Speaker 1: have you, KNOW i was nervous about having a. Dog uh.
- 30:30Speaker 1: HUH i was nervous when having a dog because the
- 30:33Speaker 1: vulnerability they love and then the. LIFESPAN i didn't want
- 30:37Speaker 1: TO i don't want to see the life span ever.
- 30:39Speaker 1: End AND i think with relationships sometimes it's that. Way
- 30:43Speaker 1: you don't want to give yourself because if it's never
- 30:46Speaker 1: worked out in the, past, forever you know that it's
- 30:48Speaker 1: gonna end and that hurts until you puffer fish. Out,
- 30:51Speaker 1: yeah you don't puffer FISH i THINK i.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Have i'm guilty of that in the past for.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Sure so how do you communicate? Best you let them do, It?
- 31:03Speaker 1: Sistney is that rights to? Experts? Say let them just do?
- 31:06Speaker 6: It, yes you have to have a very gentle check
- 31:09Speaker 6: in to be able to call out the shift in
- 31:12Speaker 6: the energy from what they're giving, you and then you
- 31:15Speaker 6: have to be VERY i have to do it without being.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Confrontational isn't it? Crazy how you know when you're with
- 31:20Speaker 1: your girlfriend or boyfriend or, whatever like you know when
- 31:23Speaker 1: they're mad at, you like you feel the. Energy it's an.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Energy they don't say. Anything you can sense the bad
- 31:29Speaker 1: energy from, them and it ruins the whole, day the whole,
- 31:33Speaker 1: night the whole. Weekend and you ask, them is there something? Wrong, no,
- 31:38Speaker 1: yes there, is LIKE i can tell we only talk about. It, Well,
- 31:42Speaker 1: NO i can't MOVE i can't move on until either
- 31:46Speaker 1: the energy changes or you tell me what it. Is
- 31:50Speaker 1: it's nothing you, did it is SOMETHING i, did or
- 31:52Speaker 1: you wouldn't act like it's SOMETHING i didn't. Do it's Something, Yeah,
- 31:56Speaker 1: yeah what DIDN'T i?
- 31:57Speaker 5: Do?
- 31:57Speaker 1: Yeah you didn't ask me this. QUESTION i didn't ask
- 32:00Speaker 1: you that. Question what? Question you know the? Question? WHAT
- 32:07Speaker 1: i don't?
- 32:07Speaker 5: Know?
- 32:08Speaker 1: Please can we finish JUST i want to FINISH dt
- 32:11Speaker 1: At Saint. Louis can we please just solve this.
- 32:13Speaker 4: Problem you probably didn't ask her how her day.
- 32:15Speaker 1: WAS i don't know what it. Was and making this
- 32:17Speaker 1: up but you know WHAT i?
- 32:17Speaker 3: Mean, yeah making this up.
- 32:22Speaker 5: For.
- 32:23Speaker 6: Fish, yeah we see we see.
- 32:28Speaker 1: It you can't see it on the, radio but you
- 32:29Speaker 1: can see it online on the podcast. Whatever it's his,
- 32:32Speaker 1: YouTube all? Right coming to next To Ki Secram. Instagram
- 32:35Speaker 1: Six Sons Magic mountain tickets to. Win hang. On that's
