- 0:09Speaker 1: Vie for sure. It's time nice hell level love love
- 0:14Speaker 1: love and Mevello. Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rob Shoes here, and it's Thursday, which
- 0:20Speaker 1: means my dear friend Mark Lupo joins us. Hey, LUPI,
- 0:23Speaker 1: are you there here? You believe I felt really lonely
- 0:28Speaker 1: this week. The Naughty's they always look after me. I
- 0:30Speaker 1: never feel really lonely when I've got the Naughties. However,
- 0:34Speaker 1: we had a few scheduling issues this week and I've
- 0:36Speaker 1: done solo shows Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and I was looking
- 0:39Speaker 1: forward to talking to somebody, anybody, particularly lou You you today,
- 0:44Speaker 1: So I'm very grateful that you're here. Market. It's almost
- 0:46Speaker 1: been four or five years. We've been doing this six years.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Yeah, six years.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Yes, it's unbelievable, isn't it. Occasionally you can get really
- 0:55Speaker 1: addicted to this, so I try not to do it
- 0:57Speaker 1: every ten minutes. But there are a podcasts charts. There
- 1:01Speaker 1: is a website that lists the podcast It's almost like
- 1:04Speaker 1: the Billboard charts, and you can see us going up
- 1:08Speaker 1: and occasually down, but mostly up, and it does give
- 1:11Speaker 1: me a little thrill. It does what really what I
- 1:14Speaker 1: really love is I love we're doing a little bit
- 1:16Speaker 1: better than Billy Bush. As we do, as we do,
- 1:21Speaker 1: as we do. Okay, let's jump into the show. What
- 1:24Speaker 1: time is it? My friends? It is tea time. A
- 1:27Speaker 1: big story at the top of the show, and it's
- 1:28Speaker 1: an exclusive story from my sub stack. Meghan Markle is
- 1:31Speaker 1: quietly plotting a UK comeback. I know, I know you're
- 1:35Speaker 1: all gasping. I want to get into the details here.
- 1:37Speaker 1: She's had a few major meetings and is planning a
- 1:40Speaker 1: twenty twenty seventh launch, so she's not giving up on
- 1:45Speaker 1: the UK. She's going to be back there for the
- 1:47Speaker 1: Invictor's Games in twenty twenty seven. They're in my hometown
- 1:52Speaker 1: of Birmingham, so it's good for me because I know
- 1:54Speaker 1: half of Birmingham. I live there for like sixteen years
- 1:57Speaker 1: of my life, so my parents, my family, people I
- 2:00Speaker 1: went to school with still live there and now they
- 2:02Speaker 1: all have jobs in the city. And so several of
- 2:05Speaker 1: them called me and said Meggan's had a few early
- 2:09Speaker 1: meetings about launching her products in the UK and she'll
- 2:12Speaker 1: launch them around the Invictors Games, which is quite a
- 2:15Speaker 1: smart thing to do because in Victors gives her credibility
- 2:18Speaker 1: and it shows that she's got something else. I know
- 2:21Speaker 1: it's Harry's organization, but they are a couple. So if
- 2:24Speaker 1: Harry's there for the Invictor's games, she's gonna be with him.
- 2:27Speaker 1: This is going to be a big moment now, Sources
- 2:29Speaker 1: tell me. And I know you're rolling your eyes and
- 2:31Speaker 1: aughties because I did too. Sources tell me she is
- 2:34Speaker 1: aware that she doesn't have mass appeal. She's aware that
- 2:37Speaker 1: her ratings, her approval ratings in Britain are at an
- 2:40Speaker 1: all time low. However, what she's also aware of, and
- 2:44Speaker 1: this is so interesting, because this is how the world
- 2:46Speaker 1: has changed. Mark, you don't need millions and millions of
- 2:50Speaker 1: people now to be successful. Let me remind everybody that
- 2:54Speaker 1: a couple of hundred thousand can make you successful. If
- 2:58Speaker 1: you keep your costs down, your costs low, you can
- 3:02Speaker 1: be a success. Everybody thinks Andy Cohen's show gets tens
- 3:06Speaker 1: of millions of viewers. It doesn't. It gets a few
- 3:08Speaker 1: hundred thousand. I'm not putting it down. The world has changed.
- 3:12Speaker 1: The morning shows, the night shows, the entertainment tonights. Even
- 3:17Speaker 1: the magazines that used to get two or three million
- 3:21Speaker 1: readers a week are down to less than one hundred thousand.
- 3:25Speaker 1: They figured out a way to make it work. I
- 3:28Speaker 1: sort of like this because as a independent voice now
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm not part of the mainstream media anymore. For a
- 3:34Speaker 1: long time, I was, and I loved it. I still
- 3:36Speaker 1: love the TV shows. I love network TV. I watched
- 3:40Speaker 1: Survivor last night and I loved it. But I also too,
- 3:43Speaker 1: have started to figure out and started to find discover
- 3:47Speaker 1: these small little niche podcasts, these small little websites, these
- 3:53Speaker 1: small little substack groups. Gone are the days when we
- 3:57Speaker 1: all listen to the same music, we all watch the
- 4:00Speaker 1: same TV show, we all saw the same movie. When
- 4:02Speaker 1: I was growing up, it was Madonna and Michael Jackson
- 4:05Speaker 1: and nothing else. We all went to see Back to
- 4:07Speaker 1: the Future, we all went to see et. That is
- 4:10Speaker 1: not the case anymore. And I think because of technology,
- 4:13Speaker 1: because of our cell phones, we can curate our own
- 4:17Speaker 1: experience in entertainment. And I am thrilled about this because
- 4:21Speaker 1: so many people have found us Mark we did pretty well.
- 4:25Speaker 1: We don't have tens of millions, but you don't need them.
- 4:28Speaker 1: And that's the point I think we have to remember.
- 4:30Speaker 1: With Megan, She's not gonna sell millions of pots of jam. No,
- 4:35Speaker 1: she's not, but if she sells a hundred thousand, you
- 4:38Speaker 1: can make a good living from that if you have
- 4:41Speaker 1: a small but loyal base. That's what we have here
- 4:45Speaker 1: on The Naughty but Nice Show. We're not massive, but
- 4:47Speaker 1: we have a real loyal thank you so much audience,
- 4:51Speaker 1: and you hear every day, and I never ever want
- 4:54Speaker 1: to take that for granted. This small group. We're not
- 4:58Speaker 1: so small, but this small, smallish group has given me
- 5:02Speaker 1: this life. Megan could do this too. You might not
- 5:05Speaker 1: want to hear that. I know there's a lot of
- 5:06Speaker 1: feelings about Meghan, but you can survive, you can thrive
- 5:10Speaker 1: if you've got a real, loyal, loyal group. What do
- 5:13Speaker 1: you think?
- 5:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's spot on. And I do want
- 5:16Speaker 2: to point out you don't just enter re enter a
- 5:18Speaker 2: country that is, you know, really hasn't trusted you in
- 5:21Speaker 2: a long time. There's gonna be some pushback. However, I
- 5:24Speaker 2: do feel as though she's lowered the bar intentionally to
- 5:27Speaker 2: your point, because she has more success with a smaller
- 5:30Speaker 2: group than she would try to appeal to a country
- 5:33Speaker 2: who's really not with her right.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Now, Yes, yeah, I think you're right, Mark, and I
- 5:38Speaker 1: think that's the strategy. People that she has spoken to
- 5:40Speaker 1: in Britain, her team have spoken to have said that
- 5:43Speaker 1: she's not going for the cover of Vogue magazine in Britain.
- 5:47Speaker 1: She's going to do small little meetings, small little little
- 5:50Speaker 1: podcast and she also two really knows there is They're
- 5:54Speaker 1: not massive, but there is a group in Britain who
- 5:57Speaker 1: feel excluded by the monarchy. They feel that they don't
- 6:00Speaker 1: have a place in the monarchy. A lot of people
- 6:02Speaker 1: of color in Britain are very pro Meghan Markle. They
- 6:06Speaker 1: know what it's like to have a door shut in
- 6:08Speaker 1: their face, and so Meghan might be able to pull
- 6:12Speaker 1: this off. You've met her mark You've spent hours with
- 6:14Speaker 1: her in your office when she came to interview with you.
- 6:17Speaker 1: You know her. She isn't somebody that gives in and
- 6:20Speaker 1: I like that quality. You might not like Meghan. I
- 6:23Speaker 1: get it, but she's somebody that fights, and she is
- 6:26Speaker 1: going to fight. She's not going to go to the
- 6:29Speaker 1: Invictus Games and sit there as Harry's wife. She's going
- 6:33Speaker 1: to be there with her own agenda rightly, so her
- 6:36Speaker 1: own priorities and launching her brand in Britain is one
- 6:40Speaker 1: of them, which brings us to our pole question of
- 6:42Speaker 1: the day. Meghan is quietly talking about having a UK
- 6:46Speaker 1: come back, launching her brand in Britain in twenty twenty seven.
- 6:50Speaker 1: She's got a year to figure it out. Do you
- 6:52Speaker 1: think she's got a chance. Do you think this could work?
- 6:55Speaker 1: My instincts to say no, now, she's upset too many people.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Kanye West has upset a lot of people and sold
- 7:02Speaker 1: a lot of tickets in LA for his concert last week.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I'm not calling Megan Markle Kanye West, but there are
- 7:07Speaker 1: celebrities out there who you think, who maybe even you hope,
- 7:11Speaker 1: shouldn't be working, but they're still making a really good living.
- 7:14Speaker 1: So think about it before you vote. Go vote on
- 7:17Speaker 1: a Twitter x page at Naughty Nice rob at Facebook
- 7:21Speaker 1: pages and be sure to check that tomorrow to hear
- 7:25Speaker 1: your results.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Okay, loopy, So Tiger Woods is facing a major legal
- 7:31Speaker 2: blow as prosecutor now targeting his medication records Yankees. So,
- 7:36Speaker 2: Florida prosecutors are tightening the screws and Tiger Woods they're
- 7:40Speaker 2: seeking sweeping pharmacy records tight to his latest duy is
- 7:44Speaker 2: this is not good? So a new filing reveals planned
- 7:47Speaker 2: to subpoena detailed prescription data, including dosages, timelines, any warnings
- 7:52Speaker 2: about driving or medicated. Now the move signals aim more
- 7:56Speaker 2: aggressive legal strategy is zeroing in on whether it woulds
- 7:59Speaker 2: no Wingly got behind the wheel well impaired and that's it.
- 8:03Speaker 2: The authorities. You're saying that these records will be pulled
- 8:07Speaker 2: from June, from January through marsh and which is when
- 8:10Speaker 2: his crash occurred. And yeah, it's really revealing.
- 8:14Speaker 1: What do you think, right? Yeah, this is interesting. So
- 8:16Speaker 1: no alcohol was found, but pills were discovered at the
- 8:19Speaker 1: scene of the crime. What they're trying to approve here,
- 8:22Speaker 1: you're allowed to take your medicine. If you're a medicine
- 8:25Speaker 1: every day you're allowed to take your medicine. You should
- 8:27Speaker 1: take your medicine. However, if you are abusing drugs, and
- 8:30Speaker 1: it can be proven that you are, and the way
- 8:33Speaker 1: they prove it is they get all those prescriptions. Why
- 8:36Speaker 1: do you have so many pills? This isn't medication for
- 8:39Speaker 1: your health, This is medication to numb you. And if
- 8:43Speaker 1: that's the case, you can't be driving a car. They
- 8:47Speaker 1: are going for kanger here, and I think rightly, so
- 8:51Speaker 1: I gotta be honest here. It's the fourth time that
- 8:54Speaker 1: we know about the fourth one, two, three, four, and
- 8:58Speaker 1: he seems to have gone away with it all three
- 9:00Speaker 1: times before. I don't remember him going to jail. I
- 9:03Speaker 1: don't remember him getting in big trouble. If Tiger would
- 9:06Speaker 1: as a rich celebrity, as somebody that has paid his dues,
- 9:10Speaker 1: I've got to give it to him. He got to
- 9:11Speaker 1: the top of his tree. He's sports tree. If he
- 9:14Speaker 1: wants to sit home and drink wine and do drugs,
- 9:18Speaker 1: knock yourself out, none of my business. But woulce you
- 9:21Speaker 1: get into a car. Wouldn't you get on a public street?
- 9:24Speaker 1: What would happen if you or I had been driving
- 9:27Speaker 1: down that street and he had hurt us, killed us.
- 9:30Speaker 1: It's not right. I find it's so selfish. Once again, celebrities.
- 9:34Speaker 1: If you want to be sloppy, if you want to
- 9:36Speaker 1: be messy at home, good for you. You've got the money,
- 9:40Speaker 1: you've got the power. But the minute you step out
- 9:44Speaker 1: that front door, the minute you are in the real
- 9:47Speaker 1: world and you could potentially hurt somebody. I think it's
- 9:51Speaker 1: so selfish.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Mark.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I think it's so rude, it's so entitled, it's so selfish,
- 9:56Speaker 1: and there should be consequences, and I think Tiger is
- 10:00Speaker 1: is a spokesperson an icon to a lot of people
- 10:03Speaker 1: out there. I don't think this is a good message
- 10:05Speaker 1: to send that you're allowed to flip a car and
- 10:08Speaker 1: then call the president and walk away. No, that's another really,
- 10:12Speaker 1: really crazy twist. Who calls the president after they get
- 10:16Speaker 1: into a car crash? A real, real shady person. He
- 10:21Speaker 1: called the most powerful person he knows, who happens to
- 10:23Speaker 1: be one of the most powerful people in the world.
- 10:25Speaker 1: And he did that on purpose. That's like saying do
- 10:28Speaker 1: you know who I am? That's like when celebrities can't
- 10:30Speaker 1: get in restaurants? Do you know who? Yes? I do
- 10:32Speaker 1: know who you are, just in tim Bloke, but you're
- 10:34Speaker 1: still arrested. It is shocking to me, and I'm quite glad. Actually,
- 10:38Speaker 1: I'm not happy about the situation. I don't wish Ill
- 10:41Speaker 1: will on anybody. He's clearly struggling. He's in Genevana trying
- 10:45Speaker 1: to get help. Good for him. But Tiger, once she
- 10:49Speaker 1: got in that car and you started driving down a
- 10:51Speaker 1: public street, then you're everyone's problem. Okay, moving along. I
- 10:56Speaker 1: love the story. Craig Melvin, who I just love, is
- 10:58Speaker 1: on the Today show cute. I spent a night with
- 11:02Speaker 1: him once at a Kathie League Gifford party. It was
- 11:04Speaker 1: all the Today Show people their mark and I ended
- 11:06Speaker 1: up sitting by Craig. I think I fell in love.
- 11:08Speaker 1: He's got that really husky servant voice, and he's so handsome,
- 11:14Speaker 1: and he's so manly like he's got big hands and
- 11:16Speaker 1: a big bottom too. He really was like bigfizes. I
- 11:20Speaker 1: was like, oh, hello you. Well, he's spilt the beans
- 11:23Speaker 1: about Jenna bush Hager. She's added to Hagar. I didn't
- 11:27Speaker 1: know that. I just called it Jenna bush for years,
- 11:29Speaker 1: but now she's Jenna bush Hager. I've met the husband,
- 11:31Speaker 1: mister Hagar. He's very, very nice. He's spilt the beans
- 11:34Speaker 1: on Live TV that she's making a cameo in The
- 11:36Speaker 1: Devil Wears Prada Part two. It slipped out. They're all
- 11:40Speaker 1: acting sharks. They're not really angry. The movie company isn't angry.
- 11:43Speaker 1: They're not gonna sell one more ticket because Jenna bush
- 11:47Speaker 1: Hager is in this movie. It's sort of a fun
- 11:49Speaker 1: thing to be in. It's like when we found out
- 11:51Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian made a cameo in one of those Oceans
- 11:53Speaker 1: eleven type movies. Oceans eight. I thought that was delicious.
- 11:57Speaker 1: No one's that mad here, although it wasn't his story
- 11:59Speaker 1: to tell, but you do sometimes make an accident, and
- 12:03Speaker 1: I don't think there's any bad motivation behind it. Some
- 12:06Speaker 1: people are saying, oh great, he doesn't like Jenna. He's
- 12:09Speaker 1: trying to rubbish. It just fell out. It was a
- 12:12Speaker 1: silly thing to say. Try to walk it back, but
- 12:15Speaker 1: too late. Jenna bush Hager is in The Devil Wears Prada.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Sort of fun, but I'd rather if Theobie Campbell was
- 12:22Speaker 1: in there, or simply Crawford or do you know what
- 12:24Speaker 1: I mean? Like, there's more exciting people if Jlo was
- 12:27Speaker 1: in The Devil Wears Prada, that would be delicious, And
- 12:30Speaker 1: so I sort of get the excitement, but I'm sort
- 12:33Speaker 1: of like, oh.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, of all people, I'm not sure they
- 12:38Speaker 2: care about Jenna bush Hater being in this movie. But however,
- 12:41Speaker 2: we're talking about it, and now I'm curious, and I'm
- 12:44Speaker 2: going to see it to an early screening in two weeks,
- 12:47Speaker 2: so I'm actually.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Do you know their premier party in New York is
- 12:51Speaker 1: the same night as my book party. I think they're
- 12:54Speaker 1: trying to bring me down, I think, and my book
- 12:57Speaker 1: is very Devil Wears Prada. It is one of the said.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Radar Online said that what Devil Wears Prada did for fashion,
- 13:04Speaker 1: it started with a whisper does for gossip. That's a
- 13:07Speaker 1: great quote. I love that quote. Love, thank you very much.
- 13:11Speaker 1: There after be okay, moving along this story. You might
- 13:14Speaker 1: not know much about it, but it is blowing up.
- 13:17Speaker 1: David Geffen, who's a billionaire. He's eighty three years old.
- 13:19Speaker 1: He married a much younger man who's thirty two, a
- 13:22Speaker 1: fitness model with a little bit of a dubious pass.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Let's out there. They got married, had no prem up,
- 13:28Speaker 1: and now they're getting divorced, and it is messy. What's
- 13:31Speaker 1: going on? That's right?
- 13:32Speaker 2: So quote filings showed the split was more it's uncontested,
- 13:35Speaker 2: meaning both sides have agreed on money and property without
- 13:38Speaker 2: a fight. The shocking part where remains that the sealed
- 13:42Speaker 2: documents of ugly accusations, including claims of grooming, drugs and
- 13:47Speaker 2: transactional relationship that are all fiercely denied by Geffen's legal team.
- 13:52Speaker 2: In despite the bitter legal warry, bothmen have now walked away,
- 13:56Speaker 2: at least on paper.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Oh Mark there's drama. If you marry somebody and you
- 14:03Speaker 1: don't have a prenup, when you get divorced, you got
- 14:05Speaker 1: to cost you a lot of money. David Geffen has
- 14:07Speaker 1: a billion dollars, So I think here I'm supporting David Armstrong,
- 14:13Speaker 1: who's thirty two, a fitness model, wink wing. I think
- 14:17Speaker 1: if he gets a hundred million out of him, good
- 14:20Speaker 1: for him. I'm honestly, I'm all for this. You've got David,
- 14:25Speaker 1: You're a billionaire. What were you thinking? What were you?
- 14:29Speaker 1: What were you thinking? Look at pictures of these two.
- 14:32Speaker 1: I don't want to get into age differences in relationships.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I'm not going to be there. Would be very supportive.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Love is love this way love. Look at the picture. Okay,
- 14:42Speaker 1: quickly before we get a break with so shady. Ryan
- 14:45Speaker 1: Seacrest is revealing he's one strict dating rule of red flag.
- 14:50Speaker 1: He said a red flag is rudeness. He said that
- 14:53Speaker 1: if somebody ignores a friendly good morning out on a walk,
- 14:56Speaker 1: he's out. This is so interesting, isn't it. He also
- 14:59Speaker 1: said too that alarm clocks or a deal, he gets
- 15:02Speaker 1: up very but he likes a gentle borning, a gentle
- 15:06Speaker 1: cup of coffee. Does not allowed alarm clock waking him up.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I like this because I think rudeness, I think ball
- 15:15Speaker 1: is is something that is a deal breaker too. I
- 15:18Speaker 1: went to was dating this guy in Edinburgh, long before
- 15:20Speaker 1: I met Bruce, and he was rude to wait us
- 15:22Speaker 1: and waitresses and I was like, oh, yeah, no, I
- 15:26Speaker 1: dumped him right away. Yuck, don't do it. Don't do it.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Rudeness not nice. Okay, we're going to take a quick
- 15:32Speaker 1: break and we will be right back. Welcome back to
- 15:37Speaker 1: that naughty but nice. I'm shooting that idea for him.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Mark Lupo, Hey Loupe, let's get to the pole. That
- 15:42Speaker 1: last show we talked about Kanye West being banned from
- 15:45Speaker 1: the UK. Was this the right move? Eighty five percent
- 15:50Speaker 1: said yes. What he said is so ugly, It is
- 15:53Speaker 1: so nasty. They don't want this hate speech in Britain. Naughties,
- 15:58Speaker 1: don't forget to vote today's poll. Go to Twitter at
- 16:02Speaker 1: x page at naughty nice rub at Facebook pages naughty gossip.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I mean she were to check back Tamar Ram want
- 16:08Speaker 1: to hear your results, and now it's time for nicest
- 16:14Speaker 1: of the day.
- 16:16Speaker 2: No, this is a cute one, so Adrian Greneur is
- 16:21Speaker 2: joking about the devil worst product to snub and he's
- 16:23Speaker 2: saying he's good. Explain. So Adriane is taking his sequel
- 16:28Speaker 2: stub and tried instride and he's now being funny about it,
- 16:32Speaker 2: saying that he.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Is all good.
- 16:35Speaker 2: He wasn't asked about the sequel, he wasn't invited to
- 16:37Speaker 2: be in the sequel, but he said he's really he's
- 16:39Speaker 2: okay with it. The first film, I just didn't like
- 16:43Speaker 2: his character. I felt he was kind of a jerk.
- 16:45Speaker 2: He was pushing. He was just girlfriend to stay home
- 16:48Speaker 2: with him and not, you know, grow and become someone big,
- 16:52Speaker 2: and he just I'm happy.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I agree. I agree with you. I'm not going to
- 16:55Speaker 1: miss him in the movie. Although I do think movies
- 16:57Speaker 1: are often delicious when you have conflict and you have
- 17:00Speaker 1: characters you don't like it. I want the main character
- 17:03Speaker 1: to be someone I don't like, but he was sort
- 17:04Speaker 1: of like a supporting lead. I'd love to see where
- 17:06Speaker 1: he is and to see what their relationship is like now,
- 17:09Speaker 1: and to see that she's doing really well and maybe
- 17:11Speaker 1: he's not doing so well. So I think there could
- 17:13Speaker 1: have been a way to put him in this movie.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Aglin's not done much since since that movie. I think
- 17:18Speaker 1: he moved out of Hollywood. Who's now living I think
- 17:20Speaker 1: it's in Texas. But it is fun to see him
- 17:23Speaker 1: make fun of himself because it would be really easy
- 17:25Speaker 1: to be bitter and nasty and mean. He's not. He's
- 17:29Speaker 1: laughing here, and so I think that's really really sweet.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Do you have a friend of mine hooked up with
- 17:34Speaker 1: him once? She said he is a monster talent. I'll
- 17:40Speaker 1: say no more. She told me, hello, Adrian, Okay, let's
- 17:44Speaker 1: do that naughties that it should be me naughty, noughdy naughty.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Nikki Hilton has been dragged for a photoshop fail while
- 17:50Speaker 1: promoting her Duel re collection. I did not know she
- 17:52Speaker 1: had a due recllection, but apparently she does. It's pretty
- 17:55Speaker 1: successful and she's had some campaign photographs featuring her mom, Kathy,
- 17:59Speaker 1: where's Paris? The parents not want to do it? Well,
- 18:01Speaker 1: she got the mom, so the mom's there. The pictures
- 18:03Speaker 1: are ridiculous. Have a look at them. They are so filtered,
- 18:07Speaker 1: they are so crazy. They don't look like photographs, Mark,
- 18:10Speaker 1: they look like oil paintings. They look so so weird. No,
- 18:16Speaker 1: don't do it, particularly when you're trying to sell me
- 18:18Speaker 1: something because I feel like you're trying to pull the
- 18:20Speaker 1: wool over my eyes or fool me or trick me.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Be authentic and naughties of the day. Let's end with
- 18:27Speaker 1: a moment of rub. You're gonna rub, rub, your rub.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Repetition rewires your brain. Repetition isn't boring, it's powerful. Every
- 18:35Speaker 1: time you repeat a thought, a habit, or a skill,
- 18:39Speaker 1: your strengthen the pathway in your brain that supports just
- 18:43Speaker 1: that what feels awkward today when you're knew it's something
- 18:46Speaker 1: it feels awkward, it becomes natural tomorrow because you showed
- 18:49Speaker 1: up again and again and again. So pick that one thing.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Think that one thing that you want to get better at.
- 18:55Speaker 1: What is the one thing you want to get better at?
- 18:58Speaker 1: Just one? Just pick one thing today and focus on
- 19:01Speaker 1: it every single day, even when you don't feel like it.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Because progress isn't built in big, dramatic moments. It's not
- 19:10Speaker 1: like American idol. No, It's built in the quiet, consistent
- 19:14Speaker 1: ones that changed my life. Mark. Think of the one
- 19:19Speaker 1: thing you want to be good at. You're not good
- 19:22Speaker 1: at it now. Five years ago I wanted to be
- 19:25Speaker 1: a podcast host. I didn't have the experience I didn't
- 19:29Speaker 1: have the skills, I didn't have the repetition, but I started.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I started scared, I scarted afraid, but I started, and
- 19:38Speaker 1: I did it every day, five days a week, for
- 19:42Speaker 1: five six years. And dare I say I'm the fabulous
- 19:46Speaker 1: at it. Not because I've got extra superpower or extra
- 19:50Speaker 1: super talent. I did the work. Do the work. Think
- 19:54Speaker 1: of the one thing you want to be better about.
- 19:56Speaker 1: You might want to be a better husband. You might
- 19:57Speaker 1: want to be a better friend. You might want to
- 19:59Speaker 1: drive better, you might want to work out better, you
- 20:02Speaker 1: might want a fitter body. I don't know what it is,
- 20:04Speaker 1: but think about that one thing that you want and
- 20:07Speaker 1: how you get it is by doing it every single day. Hey,
- 20:12Speaker 1: that is it for today. Thank you so much for
