AJ Dybantsa vs Darryn Peterson Rookie Showdown | Utah Jazz News
AJ Dybantsa dropped a jaw-dropping 27 points in his summer league debut, tying Blake Griffin’s record and leading his team to a nail-biting win over Darryn Peterson — who poured in 24 but couldn’t overcome 18 turnovers in just three games. ESPN’s Brian Windhorst praised Peterson’s playmaking upside, noting a standout 12-assist game that hints at his evolution beyond scorer. With both projected as 20-point rookies, this early clash is setting the stage for a fierce Rookie of the Year showdown in 2026-27.
