- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice. Sure, it's time level, welcome to the naughty but
- 0:18Speaker 1: niceham your head from shooter. And it's Wednesday, which means
- 0:20Speaker 1: our dear friend Donny meat from joints us. Hey, Donnie,
- 0:23Speaker 1: are you there?
- 0:25Speaker 2: Oh it's a great week. Oh so happy to be here,
- 0:28Speaker 2: to be back with everybody.
- 0:31Speaker 1: We miss you, but we understand like you have a
- 0:35Speaker 1: full time job. See you really do. It's annoying. I
- 0:38Speaker 1: hate that you have to have a real job and
- 0:40Speaker 1: not pay me any attention. In fact, this real job
- 0:43Speaker 1: is why I lost you to La. I liked it
- 0:45Speaker 1: when you're in New York. You were that one friend
- 0:47Speaker 1: who had no life and I could always rely on
- 0:49Speaker 1: you for a drink. I could call you any dieds
- 0:52Speaker 1: I'd say, Donnie, are you free? Yes? Oh what a surprise?
- 0:55Speaker 1: Always yes, always yes. Although we should point out happy birthday,
- 0:59Speaker 1: Donnie birthday. What did you do? Was it lovely? Are
- 1:03Speaker 1: you accepting gifts?
- 1:05Speaker 2: My birthday was fabulous? Oh it was. It was a
- 1:09Speaker 2: big one too, And you know birthdays are just you
- 1:12Speaker 2: kind of forget that. People like you are.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Very likable, easy to lie. It's lovely. I treat them
- 1:22Speaker 1: a little better. Sweet watch coin whatever, Okay, let's jump in.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I don't think we're allowed to do that after edit it. No,
- 1:37Speaker 1: I'll leave it in. Okay, let's jump to our lead
- 1:40Speaker 1: story of the day. Taylor Swift and Blake Lively. Their
- 1:43Speaker 1: friendship is still on ice. So there's lots of reports
- 1:45Speaker 1: out there, but Blake has been invited to the wedding
- 1:47Speaker 1: of the year. I hit the phones. My sources say
- 1:49Speaker 1: they are not friends. They are not talking, they have
- 1:53Speaker 1: not spoken, and she certainly has not received an invitation
- 1:56Speaker 1: to the wedding. Now what is confusing here, and I
- 1:58Speaker 1: think we've done a good job on this show explaining
- 2:01Speaker 1: it is that big, grotesque event at Madison Square Garden
- 2:04Speaker 1: that they're having on July third. That's not a wedding,
- 2:09Speaker 1: it's a celebration. They're going to get married before, so
- 2:11Speaker 1: I'm told it's going to be a much smaller ceremony
- 2:14Speaker 1: for real friends and family members, and then they're going
- 2:16Speaker 1: to have this massive party which is really turning almost
- 2:19Speaker 1: into a concert. They're building a stage. It's going to
- 2:21Speaker 1: be one thousand people. Could Blake be at that potentially,
- 2:24Speaker 1: although my sources say she hasn't been invited to anything
- 2:27Speaker 1: at the minute. Now, Taylor Swift is arguably I mean,
- 2:30Speaker 1: she's a brilliant musician. I don't want to take anything
- 2:32Speaker 1: away from that. Her talent is extraordinary, but she's also
- 2:35Speaker 1: to the best marketing public relations person in the business.
- 2:40Speaker 1: She knows that if Blake comes to this wedding, instead
- 2:44Speaker 1: of it being a love story, instead of this being
- 2:47Speaker 1: the romance of the century, it's going to be the
- 2:50Speaker 1: Blake Lively story. We saw what Blake did at the
- 2:53Speaker 1: met Ball. She rocked up in that gown and stood
- 2:55Speaker 1: on the steps, and that's all anybody was talking about.
- 2:57Speaker 1: If Blake turns up at this wedding, she'll looks for fabulous.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It's gonna change the narrative. Taylor is not given away
- 3:04Speaker 1: the biggest day of her life to Blake Lively. Just
- 3:07Speaker 1: not gonna happen. What are you hating?
- 3:10Speaker 2: Of course, now, look, Blake said, Blake might show up
- 3:13Speaker 2: at this little you know, Taylor Swift concert, while she'll
- 3:15Speaker 2: announce a new album, she'll release a new song.
- 3:19Speaker 1: You know, she'll make.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Another billion dollars in a day. That's what Taylor does.
- 3:23Speaker 2: But you know it's actually really crazy now, this whole
- 3:25Speaker 2: Blake Lively thing. So you know, Ryan Reynolds her husband.
- 3:29Speaker 2: He owns that mint you know, that meant mobile whatever
- 3:34Speaker 2: that thing is. Well, he does commercials for them, and
- 3:36Speaker 2: he does these like commercials to where he acts sometimes
- 3:41Speaker 2: a little like annoyed at the writers or the AI writers.
- 3:45Speaker 2: And I look at it and I just go everything
- 3:48Speaker 2: about I'm like, wow, is he treated too?
- 3:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it's changed. It has changed, hasn't it? The damage
- 3:54Speaker 1: that they've done to themselves as a couple. It's bad,
- 3:57Speaker 1: isn't it. When she points something out, You don't be famous.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Once you see something in a friend, you see it
- 4:02Speaker 1: all the time. Once he's pointed out, it takes me
- 4:04Speaker 1: a minute to notice. Because I'm such a narcissist. I
- 4:06Speaker 1: don't look. I'm only looking at myself. But occasionally I
- 4:10Speaker 1: might look up and if somebody points out Donnie has
- 4:13Speaker 1: lovely hair, I'm like, oh, my goodness, does everything you
- 4:16Speaker 1: do have lovely hair. I's been nice. I was pointing
- 4:18Speaker 1: out a nice quality. I could have pointed out many
- 4:21Speaker 1: bad ones, but it's the naughty but nice show. And
- 4:24Speaker 1: so you have great hair. I didn't really know that
- 4:27Speaker 1: until some in fact, you pointed it out. You said,
- 4:32Speaker 1: you said I have great hair. I don't know that.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Every time I look at you now I do look
- 4:35Speaker 1: at your hair, and so if you point something out,
- 4:39Speaker 1: then it becomes very obvious. And what we have not
- 4:41Speaker 1: pointed this out? Blake and look, Blake and Ryan have
- 4:44Speaker 1: done this to themselves, have they've pointed out that they're
- 4:47Speaker 1: not that nice? Like we saw this. Initially we were
- 4:50Speaker 1: team Blake. I thought that just in belldny, how dairy,
- 4:54Speaker 1: what a monster, what an awful awful And then slowly,
- 4:58Speaker 1: piece by piece, the evidence came out and it looked
- 5:01Speaker 1: like he wasn't so bad and she was the problem.
- 5:03Speaker 1: And then Ryan was involved, and then we saw their emails.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Taylor is having no part of this. Also, Let's be honest,
- 5:10Speaker 1: she had a little bit of a bachelorette party this weekend.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Blake would have been at that. That's how you ease
- 5:15Speaker 1: Blake back in. You don't just bring her out. She's
- 5:17Speaker 1: not going to be there at the wedding. I know
- 5:19Speaker 1: there are reports out there. Unless something really dramatically changes
- 5:22Speaker 1: in the next few weeks, and it won't, Blake Lively
- 5:25Speaker 1: is not going to be at that wedding, which brings
- 5:28Speaker 1: us to our whole question of the day. Blake Lively
- 5:31Speaker 1: and tell us Swift they're still not friends despite what
- 5:33Speaker 1: you're hearing. I know what you're hearing. Their friendship is
- 5:36Speaker 1: still on ice. Should Taylor invite Blake to the wedding?
- 5:40Speaker 1: I think this is such an interesting question because when
- 5:43Speaker 1: I got married, there were lots of questions about who
- 5:45Speaker 1: should we invite. You have to invite your mom and
- 5:48Speaker 1: your dad, hopefully you want to. You have to invite
- 5:50Speaker 1: your brothers and sisters, hopefully you want to. Do you
- 5:53Speaker 1: invite your boss? Do you want work people there? Who
- 5:57Speaker 1: should you invite? Should you buy all your friends? You know,
- 6:02Speaker 1: I'm a big believer. It's your day. There's no rules.
- 6:05Speaker 1: You do what you you want. Donnie. If ever this
- 6:09Speaker 1: happy day that comes for you, TikTok, TikTok, if ever
- 6:14Speaker 1: it comes. I want you to invite just the people
- 6:17Speaker 1: you want, which I'm assuming will be me.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Keep checking, keep checking your mail.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Let's see awful, You're awful. I'm going to be the
- 6:26Speaker 1: Blake Lively And this time we'll go vote on our
- 6:28Speaker 1: Twitter page. I X page I had Naughty and Ice.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Rab our facebook page is not in gulzimb and be
- 6:33Speaker 1: sure to check back to about root here your results Donnie,
- 6:37Speaker 1: what are you working on?
- 6:38Speaker 2: Oh, it's terribly, terribly sad, which I'm actually surprised that
- 6:44Speaker 2: Savannah Guthrie was on Today talking about it, because I
- 6:47Speaker 2: know lately, when there's been things about her mom, she
- 6:50Speaker 2: has kind of been m a from Today. But there's
- 6:53Speaker 2: been a lot of new reports coming out about these
- 6:56Speaker 2: new ransom notes, and you know, there's conflicting ransom. Some
- 7:00Speaker 2: of them are saying that she has passed. Others are
- 7:03Speaker 2: saying that, you know, she is still around and wanted
- 7:06Speaker 2: ransom and money. And you know, Savannah, you know, discussed
- 7:11Speaker 2: it on this Today Show, and I think that this
- 7:13Speaker 2: is probably a really big step for her because she's
- 7:17Speaker 2: trying to comprehend it in real life but also do
- 7:20Speaker 2: her job at the same time. And you know, she says,
- 7:23Speaker 2: you know, they're in agony, and I can only imagine
- 7:27Speaker 2: this is the thing where you watch I watch a
- 7:28Speaker 2: lot of true crime and a lot of people are like,
- 7:32Speaker 2: just tell us where the body is, even like we
- 7:36Speaker 2: just even if they are dead, people just want closure,
- 7:40Speaker 2: and that's that's what helps. You'd rather just not know.
- 7:45Speaker 1: It's hard, It's really hard, and Savannah this morning was
- 7:48Speaker 1: such a hero. She has been soldiering through those shows,
- 7:51Speaker 1: but these new reports were really loud last night. It
- 7:55Speaker 1: was on the night we knew everybody's talking about it.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I was watching a different morning show this morning and
- 7:59Speaker 1: the story. So, if you're the boss of the Today Show,
- 8:02Speaker 1: if you work at NBC, the Today Show's a news show,
- 8:05Speaker 1: and Savannah's a newsperson, she knows is And I imagine
- 8:08Speaker 1: that morning meeting where they go over every subject. Don't
- 8:11Speaker 1: think for one second. Stuff is just brought up. It
- 8:13Speaker 1: doesn't work like that. TV is scripted, maybe not completely,
- 8:17Speaker 1: but there is a framework to every show, and the
- 8:19Speaker 1: reason they have to have it is they need the photographs,
- 8:22Speaker 1: the visuals so that in the control room they can
- 8:24Speaker 1: make everything fit together. So this is on the schedule.
- 8:26Speaker 1: It was on the schedule. We're going to talk about
- 8:28Speaker 1: Savannah's mom. Savannah said, Okay, I know it's coming. Asked
- 8:31Speaker 1: me some questions. I'd like to make a really brief
- 8:33Speaker 1: statement about what I know is going on, and I
- 8:37Speaker 1: thought the statement was great. She didn't confirm anything. She
- 8:40Speaker 1: didn't comment on the news reports about the ransom notes.
- 8:43Speaker 1: She didn't comment. Basically, the news report is a ransom notes.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Shortly after the mom went missing after she was kidnapped.
- 8:51Speaker 1: A ransom note said she's dead, and Savannah saw that note.
- 8:55Speaker 1: She's aware of that note. And if you look at
- 8:57Speaker 1: the videos that she put out back then, days ago,
- 9:00Speaker 1: I think this was a while ago. The video she
- 9:03Speaker 1: put out the day after that note was delivered to
- 9:05Speaker 1: the family basically set that we have come to peace
- 9:09Speaker 1: with knowing what happened, and if this is what's happened,
- 9:13Speaker 1: so be it. But we still want our mom back,
- 9:16Speaker 1: meaning the remains, meaning the body. She was great on
- 9:20Speaker 1: the Today Show this morning. It is so heartbreaking, it's
- 9:23Speaker 1: so difficult. There's no precedent for this. I might have
- 9:26Speaker 1: taken the day off, I might have not come in today,
- 9:28Speaker 1: But then am I avoiding the subject? And when you
- 9:31Speaker 1: are the news and you're on a news show, I
- 9:34Speaker 1: think she's handling it so beautifully. Okay, moving along. Will Arnett,
- 9:38Speaker 1: who I sort of like, it can be a lit
- 9:39Speaker 1: a little bit grumpy. He snapped at Jason Bateman, who
- 9:42Speaker 1: I love, for bringing up his ex Amy Poehler. So
- 9:46Speaker 1: they have a podcast. It's called SmartLess Podcast, very funny
- 9:49Speaker 1: and they chatter away. But there was a joke that
- 9:53Speaker 1: Will did not like and what happened was Jason was
- 9:57Speaker 1: asking about Amy. Amy and Will used to be married.
- 10:00Speaker 1: He said, it's not a your effing business. I hit
- 10:03Speaker 1: the phones. And there's been a little bit of tension
- 10:06Speaker 1: between Will and his co host there, Jason, for a while.
- 10:12Speaker 1: They're not the best friends. They work together. I think
- 10:15Speaker 1: that's a bit of an illusion, isn't it. We see
- 10:16Speaker 1: it on the Today Show, we see it on the
- 10:18Speaker 1: Noise of the Night Show. Are we really that close? Oh?
- 10:23Speaker 1: You know, well, why did TV people? Why do people
- 10:26Speaker 1: in media have to pretend that the best friends. You
- 10:29Speaker 1: have had more radio shows on a than I have
- 10:32Speaker 1: had cooked dinners, And every single show you've done, you've
- 10:36Speaker 1: pretended your co host is your best friend. You have to.
- 10:40Speaker 2: It's part of the game.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Especially.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Look, you put Will Arnett and Jason Bateman together, that's
- 10:45Speaker 2: a podcast people are going to listen to.
- 10:47Speaker 1: You put Jason Batement with.
- 10:49Speaker 2: You know, the third lead and that movie you never
- 10:52Speaker 2: watched about the having a baby with Jennifer Anistinning and now.
- 10:57Speaker 1: The kid is his co host. You don't really care
- 11:00Speaker 1: or that much.
- 11:01Speaker 2: But you put the two of them together and you're like, oh,
- 11:03Speaker 2: and then you just assume they're friends, and they might
- 11:08Speaker 2: talk right before the show and then stop right after
- 11:12Speaker 2: the show.
- 11:14Speaker 1: They're very different personalities too, so really sort of like
- 11:17Speaker 1: a bit of an alphabet or Will can be quite tough,
- 11:20Speaker 1: and Jason's a sweetheart. He's so laid back, he's so chilled.
- 11:23Speaker 1: So for Jason to make a joke, it was a
- 11:25Speaker 1: joke about divorce, it wasn't anything bad about Amy pohl
- 11:28Speaker 1: out Jason loves saying who doesn't love Amy Pohler? But
- 11:31Speaker 1: Will was a bit sensitive about it. Over sensitive, Mind
- 11:35Speaker 1: your own effing business. Okay, moving along. Somebody who is
- 11:39Speaker 1: not minding their own business? Is Brooklyn Beckham's wife revealing something?
- 11:45Speaker 1: Maybe by accident, maybe on purpose? What do you think?
- 11:47Speaker 1: What am I talking about?
- 11:49Speaker 2: The whole thing started because David and Victoria we're doing
- 11:53Speaker 2: it in Father's Day post and happened to include Brooklyn
- 11:57Speaker 2: and Father's Day.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Even if it happened, it happened, just you think, give
- 12:01Speaker 1: us an accident? What is sad? I mean?
- 12:04Speaker 2: Come on? And Terry's happy about it. So then Nicola,
- 12:11Speaker 2: who allegedly is the tricky one of this whole scenario
- 12:16Speaker 2: and the reason why the family is not getting along
- 12:20Speaker 2: he's out there, just.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Poosted away on the so.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Cash cash And then what you see is you see
- 12:28Speaker 2: a little a little artwork that's a little shoaling nature.
- 12:32Speaker 2: It's a little it's a little racy. No, come on,
- 12:37Speaker 2: if look, I will give this to her. This has
- 12:40Speaker 2: megamarkle p R one O one written over it. If
- 12:44Speaker 2: you want to change the narrative, you like him.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Through skirt.
- 12:51Speaker 2: That's how you change the narrative.
- 12:53Speaker 1: That's how you change It doesn't work as much for boys,
- 12:57Speaker 1: but ladies, this really works. Good to the beach, get
- 13:00Speaker 1: a bikini shot, get a paparazzi to take a picture,
- 13:03Speaker 1: and we're going to start talking about that. It's in
- 13:04Speaker 1: the cola. You know, this is why they don't get along.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Victoria and the Cola are the same person. They both
- 13:10Speaker 1: are just really savvy, thirsty, thirsty, thirsty people. It made
- 13:15Speaker 1: me chuckle, and that I loved. Afterwards she pretended, oh
- 13:18Speaker 1: my god, what have I done? How embarrassing? Did I
- 13:22Speaker 1: post a gorgeous picture of me looking fabulous and full
- 13:25Speaker 1: weir and makeup? Do not because that's a private picture.
- 13:29Speaker 1: How they're really embarrassed when they're picking their nose, that's
- 13:32Speaker 1: when they get embarrassed when the picture in the background
- 13:34Speaker 1: looks too good. It put there deliberately. Okay, moving along
- 13:39Speaker 1: quickly before we get a break. This makes me a
- 13:41Speaker 1: bit sad. Ryan Locktey do you remember him, the Olympic
- 13:44Speaker 1: swimmer who got in trouble. It was sort of like
- 13:46Speaker 1: a bad boy. I kind of liked him sometimes at
- 13:48Speaker 1: the stars. Well, he has just dodged foreclosure on his home.
- 13:52Speaker 1: So he owed about four thousand in unpaid fees, and
- 13:56Speaker 1: they threatened to escalate this into foreclosure procedures, and luckily
- 14:00Speaker 1: he paid it off. And now the story here, though,
- 14:02Speaker 1: is that we think these celebrities have millions and millions
- 14:05Speaker 1: of dollars. It's really difficult, particularly for younger professionals athletes.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I know people who have been involved in professional sports
- 14:16Speaker 1: and at the age of twenty five they have to retire.
- 14:19Speaker 1: It's over. Can you imagine that your life? That's too extreme?
- 14:23Speaker 1: Your life's not over. But everything you've worked towards is
- 14:26Speaker 1: And when I say work towards, they have put years
- 14:29Speaker 1: and years and years of effort and attention into this.
- 14:32Speaker 1: To be an Olympic gymnasta and Olympic swimmer. You've got
- 14:35Speaker 1: to put many, many hours in every day, and then
- 14:37Speaker 1: when you reach twenty three, twenty four to twenty five,
- 14:40Speaker 1: your body just can't do it any more. Bruce used
- 14:45Speaker 1: to date an olympian, my Bruce. Before he was lucky
- 14:48Speaker 1: enough to meet me, he dated an olympian and he
- 14:52Speaker 1: said it was really difficult. There were both young guys.
- 14:55Speaker 1: But he said, once this guy retired, retired in his twenties,
- 15:00Speaker 1: it was so hard for him to figure out what
- 15:02Speaker 1: he wanted to do next. And so there's something really
- 15:06Speaker 1: kind of emotional about this. You think you're set for life.
- 15:08Speaker 1: We see this a lot with the Real Housewives. Don't worry,
- 15:11Speaker 1: or anyone on a reality show, those people on Summer Camp,
- 15:14Speaker 1: Summer House those people, thank you. Those people on the
- 15:18Speaker 1: Van der Pump shows. They think at twenty crown they're
- 15:21Speaker 1: going to be. Yeah, now they're scrounging for a dollar.
- 15:24Speaker 1: I could be. I'm not. Now we've got sure of them.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Bone on and not. We don't worry. The naughties will
- 15:31Speaker 1: come through. Okay, we're going to take don't don't. We're
- 15:34Speaker 1: going to take a quick break and we will be
- 15:35Speaker 1: right back. Welcome back to the naughty bit. Nice your
- 15:40Speaker 1: house shooter. Hey, that's good to the poles. Actually, there
- 15:42Speaker 1: isn't a poll today because yesterday, Donnie, it was a
- 15:45Speaker 1: Nancy Guthrie story. So we see we classy we are,
- 15:50Speaker 1: but don't forget to vote on today's pole. We're not
- 15:52Speaker 1: classy enough for Taylor Swift and Blake Lively. There's a
- 15:54Speaker 1: pole for them. Go vote on our Twitter page, our
- 15:57Speaker 1: ex page at Naughty Nice rab, go to our face
- 16:00Speaker 1: page and be sure to check back to my row
- 16:03Speaker 1: to hear the results. And now it's.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Time for the nicest of the day, the nicest of
- 16:14Speaker 2: the day. It's Taylor Swift and she is She is
- 16:18Speaker 2: filling in her role as a wag. And don't you
- 16:22Speaker 2: heard me right? Wag with the w it is Pride month.
- 16:25Speaker 2: We would never wag his wife and girlfriend.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Thank you for clarify because some people might not know
- 16:31Speaker 1: what wag is there.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I did not know how they're like, what is wags
- 16:36Speaker 2: because it sounds it just looks The term wag doesn't
- 16:40Speaker 2: sound like it could be good.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Girlfriend.
- 16:46Speaker 2: It's mostly meant for you know, star who are athletes,
- 16:49Speaker 2: football players player, So of course Travis Kelsey. I don't
- 16:55Speaker 2: know if you know this, but he plays in the
- 16:56Speaker 2: old football. He's a little footballer, and so she's kind
- 17:00Speaker 2: of fit into his world perfectly. Oh, I'm not gonna lie.
- 17:05Speaker 2: It's not easy. Yes, perfectly. But also he will carry
- 17:12Speaker 2: her purse, and he will sit backstage at her show
- 17:15Speaker 2: and he will single long to shake it off, and
- 17:17Speaker 2: he's perfectly into hers.
- 17:20Speaker 1: That's a perfect match. It really is, it is, it is.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I think this is sweet because often when the female
- 17:27Speaker 1: is more powerful, has more money, has more celebrity, in
- 17:30Speaker 1: these relationships, it's very, very difficult. We've seen it with
- 17:33Speaker 1: Nick Lache and Jessica Simpsons. We've seen it with Jalo
- 17:36Speaker 1: and Ben Vote fighting for attention. These do have figured
- 17:40Speaker 1: it out, and so I think it's just great and
- 17:42Speaker 1: nice is the day And now I naughticed the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty,
- 17:46Speaker 1: I noticed the day. Brooklyn Beckham back to you, Honey,
- 17:50Speaker 1: is fuming, really angry about his Father's Day tribute. Brooklyn,
- 17:56Speaker 1: you ain't angry. You just shot a commercial, a TV
- 18:00Speaker 1: commercial for the World Cup, making fun of your parents.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I think Brooklyn, David, Victoria and Nicola they're all as
- 18:09Speaker 1: bad as each other, and that's why they can't be friends.
- 18:12Speaker 1: They all are thirsty monitored for the same people. It's
- 18:16Speaker 1: like when Bethany and Jill Zaron f you're the same person.
- 18:20Speaker 1: The two of you are the same, You're both both
- 18:24Speaker 1: really annoying of Brooklyn pretending to be offended by the photograph. Hey,
- 18:29Speaker 1: let's end with the moment. I've thank you, Darling. Never
- 18:34Speaker 1: feel guilty for walking away. Never feel guilty for removing
- 18:38Speaker 1: a toxic person from your life, protecting your peace. That
- 18:41Speaker 1: is not selfish honor. It's necessary. Too many people stay
- 18:46Speaker 1: in unhealthy relationships because their feared of being judged, or
- 18:50Speaker 1: they don't want to appear to be mean, or they
- 18:52Speaker 1: don't want to disappoint anybody. But every time that you
- 18:56Speaker 1: tolerate disrespect, do you know what you're doing. You're teaching
- 18:59Speaker 1: other people that that behavior is acceptable, and it is not.
- 19:03Speaker 1: If bad behavior keeps receiving time and energy and focus,
- 19:07Speaker 1: it's never going to change. So set boundaries, and they
- 19:11Speaker 1: are not punishment. They are boundaries. That is self respect.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Once again, never feel guilty, never ever ever feel guilty
- 19:21Speaker 1: for walking away. It's tricky, isn't it. Because we want
- 19:24Speaker 1: people to like us. Most of us are people pleaserus.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I want folks to think I'm a nice guy, but
- 19:30Speaker 1: occasionally donning, hopefully not that often, I have to say enough,
- 19:34Speaker 1: are you good at walking away from something toxic?
- 19:37Speaker 2: I haven't always been, but as here lately, I've been
- 19:41Speaker 2: learning that it's just easier because.
- 19:46Speaker 1: We don't need that in our lives. We just don't.
- 19:51Speaker 1: People like the drama of it. That's true. I used
- 19:54Speaker 1: to like the drama off it. I used to love
- 19:57Speaker 1: it does get exhausted, That's the nice thing about growing older.
- 20:00Speaker 1: We just said Donnie celebrated a big birthday. That was
- 20:02Speaker 1: his words, not mine. I'm guessing fifteen, but it's forty.
- 20:09Speaker 1: What's happy fortieth birthday, Donnie? Thank you so much for
- 20:14Speaker 1: listening to the Naughty but Nice with Rob and Old
- 20:18Speaker 1: Donnie Show. We are a production of iHeartRadio and Elvis Durant.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Don't forget to subscribe to my substack rumshooter dot substack
- 20:26Speaker 1: dot com and my novel. Did I mention that, Donnie?
- 20:28Speaker 1: My novel It started with a whisper. It's available right now.
- 20:33Speaker 1: And remember all together. Now, if you're going to be naughty,
- 20:38Speaker 1: you've got to day. Oh listen, normals, What nice with
- 20:44Speaker 1: Ra
