- 0:02Randy Black: Randy Black.
- 0:04Randy Black. Randy Black. Randy Black. Randy Black. Randy Black. Black. Randy Black. Black. He's a troublemaker. Welcome back to Randy Unscripted. I'm Randy Black, and this is episode 30 of napod promo
- 0:16twenty twenty five. The final episode of this thirty day journey to do 30 podcast episodes
- 0:22in thirty days.
- 0:24And on the final episode here, I wanna take a step back and reflect on the month as a whole and what it taught me, how it challenged me,
- 0:33and how my faith and focus helped me to navigate not just this podcast journey,
- 0:38but life itself during one of the hardest months
- 0:41I've ever experienced.
- 0:45This month has been incredibly challenging,
- 0:49far more than I expected.
- 0:52While
- 0:53recording a recording a podcast every day is a test of discipline and of creativity,
- 1:01this month was marked by
- 1:04personal trial as well.
- 1:06On day 24
- 1:09of this month,
- 1:11my father-in-law passed away.
- 1:14He'd been in the hospital and had come home,
- 1:16but he passed away
- 1:18that morning.
- 1:21And it's a reminder to me that
- 1:24life
- 1:25doesn't pause
- 1:27even we're committed to our goals.
- 1:32Despite the difficulty of that,
- 1:35I realized that routine
- 1:38and
- 1:39focus that I had built through this challenge
- 1:42became a lifeline.
- 1:45Keeping the structure of recording and releasing episodes daily
- 1:49help me navigate the chaos
- 1:51in our life for a couple days
- 1:54and to maintain a sense of purpose
- 1:56and of control
- 1:58as we work to navigate these new things.
- 2:04What helped me keep going during this difficult time was that need for routine
- 2:09and for focus.
- 2:13The structure of napod Pomo and thinking of those ideas and coming up with episodes
- 2:18gave me a concrete way to channel my energy and maintain
- 2:23the forward motion I created.
- 2:27Beyond that, my faith played an extremely central role to
- 2:31everything that's happened since then.
- 2:35Leaning on God gave me strength to be supportive
- 2:38for my wife, for her family,
- 2:42and all the while still keeping up with the goal I had set for myself.
- 2:46Now this goal was nowhere near as important as being there for them. I don't want anybody to
- 2:51misconstrue what I'm saying there.
- 2:55Because it's one thing to persevere
- 2:57when things are easy.
- 3:00It's quite another to
- 3:02keep going when
- 3:03life throws heavy challenges at you.
- 3:07This month
- 3:09reminded me that faith
- 3:12and
- 3:13discipline
- 3:15can carry us through
- 3:17even the most difficult seasons,
- 3:20and that sometimes
- 3:22showing up consistently is an act of resilience in itself.
- 3:29Through this whole process this month, I've learned several things about myself.
- 3:35First is I can meet the goals I set when I plan and I commit.
- 3:40Second is that my faith is strong
- 3:42and truly guides me through the most challenging times.
- 3:49And third is that I can be the rock
- 3:52for others when they need me
- 3:55while still allowing myself
- 3:58the ability to grieve and to feel
- 4:01even when they don't see it.
- 4:04It's a balance that
- 4:06ultimately isn't easy,
- 4:08but it's one I've been able to practice through this month.
- 4:13Napod Pomo taught me that perseverance
- 4:16isn't about perfection.
- 4:19It's about showing up every day,
- 4:22doing the work,
- 4:24and trusting the process.
- 4:26And in the end,
- 4:28that's what makes this achievement more meaningful.
- 4:33Looking ahead,
- 4:35I don't anticipate that this experience
- 4:39of producing an episode every day for thirty days is gonna drastically change my my approach to podcasting.
- 4:46I've been consistent with Bible Bites and was shooting it straight for for some time,
- 4:52and that rhythm's gonna continue.
- 4:56But what it has reinforced is the value of commitment,
- 5:00of showing up no matter what life throws at you,
- 5:03and of trusting that
- 5:05even during difficult times,
- 5:08consistency
- 5:09and faith
- 5:11produce results.
- 5:14And for anyone
- 5:15who's considering napod Pomo or any other
- 5:20creative type challenge, here's my advice.
- 5:23Just get started.
- 5:25You never know what you can do until you put your voice out there.
- 5:30It doesn't have to be perfect.
- 5:32It just has to exist.
- 5:34You improve by doing,
- 5:36and this month proved to me
- 5:38that idea
- 5:40once again.
- 5:43I wanna thank anyone who's listened throughout this month of November
- 5:472025
- 5:48as I've made this journey through napod pomo twenty twenty five.
- 5:52It's been a month of creativity,
- 5:54of perseverance,
- 5:57and of reflection,
- 5:58and I'm grateful that I've been able to share that journey with you.
- 6:02I hope that in some small way,
- 6:05my experience
- 6:07encourages you to push forward in your own challenges,
- 6:10that you embrace consistency
- 6:12and you trust your own faith
- 6:15as you move through life.
- 6:17So here's the showing up every day
- 6:21and discovering just what it is that you're fully capable of.
- 6:26I'm Randy,
- 6:27and this has been Randy Unscripted.
