- 2:57Speaker 4: What you speak old ah old turnage, I'm old, okay,
- 3:03Speaker 4: all right, all right, right, Jamie's here too, Jamie, Good morning,
- 3:06Speaker 4: Welcome to the show. I'm doing fine. Uh so, what
- 3:09Speaker 4: do you think of the new digs here? I like him,
- 3:12Speaker 4: I like them good, pretty good. You're a little mangled there,
- 3:15Speaker 4: little Jamie. You want to I heard you tell him
- 3:18Speaker 4: the story upstairs to Steve Annibal. But early he comes
- 3:20Speaker 4: in and he's all bandaged up? Was that a was that?
- 3:22Speaker 4: Was that a hazard? At that Scared View?
- 3:24Speaker 7: Get lock up hazard from the school?
- 3:26Speaker 4: Okay, what happened?
- 3:28Speaker 5: I just had a little entangled with some glass.
- 3:31Speaker 4: And the glass one. It's kind of like the old
- 3:33Speaker 4: Bobby Fuller Forest song. I fought the law and the
- 3:36Speaker 4: law one. Uh So before I forget, I want to
- 3:39Speaker 4: tell everybody where's Scared View? The haunted school is? Where's
- 3:42Speaker 4: it located? Down or Jamie either.
- 3:44Speaker 5: One, one or nine High Street, Saint Albans, West Virginia.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Okay, all right, and it is a haunted school? Right? Yes?
- 3:51Speaker 4: All right? Uh so how's it been going? So far?
- 3:52Speaker 4: Gast so far, so good? We're rolling all right?
- 3:56Speaker 6: That several thousand people roll through already the first three weekends.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Now, we were there live the Mountain, their sister station
- 4:01Speaker 4: nine eight seven A Mountain Wild, wonderful classic rock was
- 4:04Speaker 4: there on Friday night and Steve did a little video
- 4:06Speaker 4: and he uh he uh and I shared it on
- 4:08Speaker 4: the Mountain social media page. Uh didn't go inside though,
- 4:10Speaker 4: because I don't guess you allow that, right, no videos
- 4:12Speaker 4: on the inside, try not to Yeah, well I can
- 4:15Speaker 4: so I know you don't want to give away too
- 4:17Speaker 4: much here, guys, but what has been the big hit
- 4:20Speaker 4: this year other than Jamie going through glass?
- 4:23Speaker 7: Price?
- 4:24Speaker 4: The price? Why is the price the beg hit?
- 4:26Speaker 5: You got more bang for your buck?
- 4:27Speaker 4: Okay, you explained the.
- 4:29Speaker 5: Whole family for under a hundred bucks. Okay, house this
- 4:32Speaker 5: room for right here, couldn't go to other places and
- 4:34Speaker 5: get in for a hundred bucks just with the four
- 4:36Speaker 5: of us.
- 4:37Speaker 4: How long does it normally take to go through.
- 4:40Speaker 5: Scarab pins like we've tied up just walking through? It
- 4:43Speaker 5: was twenty minutes, twenty five minutes animal time to the
- 4:47Speaker 5: other night and he was waiting for like forty minutes,
- 4:50Speaker 5: fifty minutes.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Okay, I've been talking about the time inside the haunted house. Okay,
- 4:54Speaker 4: that's what it is. So I guess it varies how
- 4:56Speaker 4: it how it right? How fast you walk groups? Yeah,
- 4:59Speaker 4: I'll be obviously is there a certain size group? I
- 5:02Speaker 4: because you don't want to. I know, you get groups,
- 5:04Speaker 4: You get buses that come in from all over, but
- 5:06Speaker 4: you take them inte what size eight to ten? Eight
- 5:08Speaker 4: to ten? And why eight to ten? What's the what's
- 5:11Speaker 4: the secret of the number there?
- 5:12Speaker 5: You just you want everybody to get scare.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Uh huh.
- 5:17Speaker 5: If you've got more than ten people, the guys in
- 5:20Speaker 5: the back don't get anything.
- 5:21Speaker 4: Yeah, like looking at I Candy, Well I could see
- 5:24Speaker 4: that too, because again and then it's harder to control
- 5:27Speaker 4: because you have people talking among themselves and whatever. So
- 5:30Speaker 4: you try to keep it at eight to ten. And
- 5:32Speaker 4: what is the price again to get.
- 5:34Speaker 5: In ten with non parish or canned foods and twelve without?
- 5:37Speaker 4: And I want to talk about because you guys wanted
- 5:39Speaker 4: and you always do this every year, Dona Jamie, and
- 5:41Speaker 4: again we're talking with Donna Jamie's scare view.
- 5:43Speaker 8: Uh.
- 5:44Speaker 4: You guys always employ some sort of a of a
- 5:48Speaker 4: charitable aspect, and that's what you've done this time around.
- 5:51Speaker 6: Yeah, all the can food is collective. What always goes
- 5:54Speaker 6: to different food banks and churches around the area. Jamie,
- 5:58Speaker 6: tell you more, you know, it's more about.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Them, it's all.
- 6:00Speaker 5: It all benefits the community of Saint Albans all that area,
- 6:03Speaker 5: Coal River Road, Browns Creek, that area. It's all for
- 6:06Speaker 5: the West Side Volunteer Fire Department. Okay, they take can food.
- 6:09Speaker 5: It goes to Christ's Kitchens and a couple of other
- 6:13Speaker 5: churches right there in the area. Lower Falls church fills
- 6:17Speaker 5: up their food pantries for Thanksgiving Christmas.
- 6:19Speaker 4: So that's all.
- 6:21Speaker 5: The proceeds go to the volunteer fire department for training
- 6:25Speaker 5: gear side by side, just numerous things like.
- 6:28Speaker 4: That, but a valance showing five eighty line bright to

- 6:47Speaker 4: Let's talk about how how people have reacted to this
- 6:51Speaker 4: and bringing out the can food as far.
- 6:54Speaker 5: I mean they nine out of ten people have canned
- 6:58Speaker 5: food in their hands or so even their kids.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Okay, I just got a text here. I need you
- 7:03Speaker 4: to talk a little bit louder because apparently they can't.
- 7:05Speaker 4: They can't hear you. Again. We're all learning as we
- 7:08Speaker 4: go here, guys, We're all learning as we go.
- 7:11Speaker 5: Everybody in the family's usually got a can food. All
- 7:14Speaker 5: they need is just if you've got a family of six,
- 7:17Speaker 5: you can bring however much it's a I don't know
- 7:21Speaker 5: how you explain it.
- 7:21Speaker 7: It's huge as far as can food stuff goes.
- 7:24Speaker 5: We've got a box trailer up there's damn near full.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Now, okay, all right, good stuff, good stuff? And how
- 7:30Speaker 4: long is this going to be going on? Because we're

- 7:42Speaker 4: sure people realize that there's a whole lot that goes
- 7:44Speaker 4: into putting these things on. As you said, Jamie lost
- 7:46Speaker 4: half of a hand apparently trying to put this this
- 7:48Speaker 4: little show one. But you'll all do it for a
- 7:50Speaker 4: good cast, and you do it for the community. Yes,
- 7:52Speaker 4: all right, all right, so scare of view, and as

- 11:21Speaker 7: How you doing.
- 11:22Speaker 4: I'm doing fine. So what do you think of the
- 11:24Speaker 4: new digs here, the new temporary days.
- 11:25Speaker 7: Well, this is a lot better than what I thought
- 11:27Speaker 7: it would look like. I thought we'd all no, really,
- 11:29Speaker 7: I thought this is not your permanent digs.
- 11:32Speaker 4: No, No, they've both started on this.
- 11:33Speaker 7: I thought this was going to be we were all
- 11:34Speaker 7: going to be standing up, you know, like when I
- 11:37Speaker 7: when I cut promos and commercials for people. I thought
- 11:43Speaker 7: that's what it's going to be like.
- 11:44Speaker 4: No, now it's no, this is pretty nice.
- 11:47Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean it's not. Well, okay, well come on, Danny,
- 11:53Speaker 7: really kind of.
- 11:57Speaker 4: It's a lot better than the other fo Tony High.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 4: I can't wait for Tony Hodge to see this. So
- 12:03Speaker 4: I'm gonna ask you. Because you're an old radio guy.
- 12:06Speaker 4: As I'm an old radio guy, we have in the
- 12:09Speaker 4: past probably worked in some less than stellar conditions. I
- 12:11Speaker 4: don't necessarily mean here, but do you have a store
- 12:14Speaker 4: horror story on the area. I'll tell us about something
- 12:16Speaker 4: that didn't work right or.
- 12:17Speaker 7: Whatell in ninety two when they these folks took this
- 12:22Speaker 7: place over. See, I was in the arch More faction
- 12:25Speaker 7: of the party, and the people that took it over
- 12:28Speaker 7: were not. So the four personalities and that WUE include
- 12:33Speaker 7: Dickens sheets and I'll say they me and another guy,
- 12:36Speaker 7: we're out. So and the only reason Don Cook's job
- 12:42Speaker 7: was safe because he was on the raid road doing baseball.
- 12:46Speaker 7: Because they got so much bad feedback when they fired us.
- 12:49Speaker 7: And I learned, and I don't take any of it
- 12:53Speaker 7: personal because that's radio. That's just the way things work.
- 12:56Speaker 7: You know. You don't get the you don't get rid
- 12:58Speaker 7: of a personality and let him get go on the
- 13:00Speaker 7: air and say, hey, they're firing me, do something about it.
- 13:03Speaker 7: That's not the way it works. But I went up
- 13:05Speaker 7: to Bristol, and uh they they weren't even know I'm coming.
- 13:10Speaker 7: So the morning I started, they gave me a thing
- 13:14Speaker 7: to sit at by myself, taking calls alone, potting up
- 13:17Speaker 7: my own stuff. I had no idea what I was doing.
- 13:19Speaker 7: And I was like me this morning, I was in
- 13:22Speaker 7: my Yeah, but you're a professional, but yeah, well that's
- 13:25Speaker 7: I was a barbecue man, I was. I was down
- 13:29Speaker 7: there making Danny's barbecue in the place and go Nightroe,
- 13:32Speaker 7: West Virginia.
- 13:34Speaker 4: I mean, we've all got stories though. I mean I, oh, yeah,
- 13:37Speaker 4: I worked at one particular company. Uh we got yeah,
- 13:40Speaker 4: I bet you do, Danny q min As The Family Show.
- 13:43Speaker 4: I worked at one particular place that had an issue
- 13:46Speaker 4: with sewage in the basement. And when I say it
- 13:49Speaker 4: had an issue with sewage, I'm not talking about a note.
- 13:51Speaker 4: I'm talking about actually raw sewage that was running through
- 13:54Speaker 4: the basement. And they asked me, they said, do you
- 13:56Speaker 4: care to go douse and stop right there? You're not
- 13:58Speaker 4: paying me enough to go down We'll call professionals in here.
- 14:01Speaker 4: You're not paying me enough to go down there. But
- 14:03Speaker 4: to Danny, I do appreciate you join us. I do
- 14:05Speaker 4: want to mention too that you and I are going
- 14:06Speaker 4: to be anchoring the w c HS coverage of election night.
- 14:10Speaker 4: Of course, everyone's going to be watching the race for
- 14:11Speaker 4: the White House, but there are some races worth watching
- 14:14Speaker 4: here locally, some house races, legislative races will be keeping
- 14:17Speaker 4: an eye on. And I think this battle for the
- 14:19Speaker 4: County Commission between Chris Walters and Natalie Tennant Danny, I
- 14:22Speaker 4: think it's shipping up pretty nicely, as is the race
- 14:24Speaker 4: for Prosecutor between Dev Brusny and John Mitchell.
- 14:27Speaker 7: I don't know what to think about this commission race
- 14:32Speaker 7: because I listened to you and Senator Greitar and you
- 14:37Speaker 7: said that kenaw County gone red for real?
- 14:41Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, A boy a lot. Well, Tony's in here, Tony,
- 14:46Speaker 4: do you have the numbers, Tony?
- 14:47Speaker 8: Hug. It's close right now, but it's definitely gone red. Yeah,
- 14:50Speaker 8: we're we're ahead now.
- 14:51Speaker 4: Yeah, Republicans are ahead in Kanawha County and Kanah and Clay.
- 14:55Speaker 4: I think was the most recent one. I think is
- 14:57Speaker 4: that right?
- 14:57Speaker 7: Ton Well, let me tell you when I ran for share.
- 15:00Speaker 7: Were you born in eighty four? I was a baby,
- 15:04Speaker 7: all right, so I was I was raised, I was
- 15:07Speaker 7: born in I ran in eighty four and it was
- 15:11Speaker 7: two to one Democrat.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Wow.
- 15:13Speaker 7: And Governor Moore told me after I won the primary,
- 15:16Speaker 7: he says, now you make your fight inside the Democrat party.
- 15:19Speaker 7: He said, forget. Forget. You can go have lunch with
- 15:23Speaker 7: them if you want, but that's not where your fight is.
- 15:25Speaker 7: So and he said, South Hills is your Cabin Creek,
- 15:28Speaker 7: because Cavin Creek had a lot of people living in it. Then,
- 15:30Speaker 7: so I canvassed every house on South Hills, personally left notes,
- 15:37Speaker 7: called them back on their machines, and I walked off
- 15:40Speaker 7: that hill with twenty five hundred votes and won the
- 15:42Speaker 7: election by eleven thousand in Kenall County. And I was sure.
- 15:49Speaker 4: That was your And how many terms did you service?
- 15:51Speaker 7: Your one term?
- 15:52Speaker 4: One term?
- 15:52Speaker 7: Then I went to the House and there was twenty
- 15:54Speaker 7: four candidates running for twelve seats, and the Republicans were
- 15:59Speaker 7: all mad because I didn't to their meetings. I said, well,
- 16:01Speaker 7: I'll probably get beach. You know, I'm only spending five
- 16:03Speaker 7: thousand dollars out of twenty four candidates. I came at first,
- 16:09Speaker 7: what do you make of this race for the prosecutor
- 16:13Speaker 7: because we had kind of an ugly primary. Well, I'm
- 16:16Speaker 7: biased Okay, okay, because.
- 16:18Speaker 4: I'm don't tell me that because then you won't be
- 16:19Speaker 4: able to do election coverage.
- 16:20Speaker 7: Well, I mean, I mean, I got to say I've contributed,
- 16:25Speaker 7: but I've known John Mitchell and his father all my life.
- 16:28Speaker 7: But I've contributed to deb and it's not personal. I
- 16:33Speaker 7: think it's going to be a tough race. I mean,
- 16:37Speaker 7: but Dev's been out there and she's got a profile,
- 16:41Speaker 7: and she's on TV now because she is the incumbent,
- 16:43Speaker 7: So I don't know where that leaves. John has been
- 16:46Speaker 7: elected and he was a state senator for four years,
- 16:50Speaker 7: so he has won when Democrats were winning, and maybe
- 16:53Speaker 7: he can do it again.
- 16:55Speaker 4: Well, and I do think that it's it's rather interesting
- 16:57Speaker 4: because and maybe you have a different story, Danny, But
- 17:01Speaker 4: I don't remember at a time when I saw a
- 17:03Speaker 4: county prosecutor doing television ads. And miss Roussnik is doing
- 17:07Speaker 4: television as in they're airing quite frequently on the local channels,
- 17:10Speaker 4: and nothing wrong with it. I just don't remember that
- 17:12Speaker 4: I've ever seen that much of an interest in a
- 17:13Speaker 4: county prosecutors race. But it is the biggest, you know,
- 17:17Speaker 4: the biggest office in the biggest county in West Virginia.
- 17:19Speaker 4: I understand that.
- 17:20Speaker 7: Charlie King did him Bill Broadway, Bill Forbes. I think
- 17:23Speaker 7: he did him, you know, but that's when the Democrats
- 17:26Speaker 7: were running things.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Talking again with Danny Jones. Tony Hodge will be coming
- 17:30Speaker 4: up a little bit later on the Dave Island showing
- 17:31Speaker 4: five Indy Live, brought to you in part by Live
- 17:33Speaker 4: Healthy West Virginia, presented by WVU Medicine. Live Healthy Tackling
- 17:37Speaker 4: pressing health issues. It's podcast offered insights to the medical

- 17:51Speaker 4: All right, so come November of the fifth, eight nine
- 17:55Speaker 4: o'clock or whatever, will you be surprised if we're not
- 17:58Speaker 4: calling Patrick Morrissey, the governor elect, and Jim Justice, the
- 18:01Speaker 4: Senator elect for West Virginia.
- 18:03Speaker 7: I'm not going to say how it'll be called, but
- 18:05Speaker 7: it'll be called by seven thirty.
- 18:07Speaker 4: By seven thirty, yeah, yeah.
- 18:09Speaker 7: I remember when Arch got beat. It was ten after
- 18:11Speaker 7: seven in nineteen eighty eight when Gaston beat Arch it
- 18:16Speaker 7: was ten after seven the national and I was heartbroken.
- 18:20Speaker 7: And that was even though I became gusting. I was
- 18:24Speaker 7: what we had seven Republicans out of twenty that were
- 18:26Speaker 7: trying to help Gaston, and I was one of them.
- 18:29Speaker 7: And he's a good friend of mine. He's a good
- 18:30Speaker 7: friend of mine today. But I was for Arch and uh.
- 18:33Speaker 4: And it's interesting that they were able to call it
- 18:35Speaker 4: that early, because it's not we didn't have the election
- 18:38Speaker 4: reporting systems in place that we have now, and you know,
- 18:41Speaker 4: a Metro news was obviously, you know, not a thing
- 18:43Speaker 4: at that point. And I know that the Secretary of
- 18:45Speaker 4: State's office didn't have the what they call the election
- 18:47Speaker 4: night reporting, I mean, did to have it called that early,
- 18:50Speaker 4: then that would be that would be a kin to
- 18:52Speaker 4: having it called like it's at seven thirty five.
- 18:55Speaker 7: You've had now you had select first thing, it was
- 18:57Speaker 7: Arch got forty one percent vote, but you had precincts
- 19:00Speaker 7: in this county. The one that could you could call
- 19:04Speaker 7: the whole county was on the west side and it
- 19:06Speaker 7: was Robin's Elementary, which doesn't even exist anymore, and you
- 19:10Speaker 7: could you could gauge the whole county by that particular
- 19:13Speaker 7: precincts and the national folks. And I'll tell you who's
- 19:16Speaker 7: good at this. The New York Times is good at it,
- 19:18Speaker 7: and Fox News is good at it. They they they
- 19:21Speaker 7: have a room that Brett Bahar and the rest of
- 19:23Speaker 7: them aren't even loud in, you know. And and that's
- 19:27Speaker 7: what got what's his name fired, star Warcks mouthpiece over
- 19:31Speaker 7: here and he star Wars Yeah, and he because he
- 19:37Speaker 7: was involved with that and he got out. He was
- 19:39Speaker 7: a little bit cocky when he said that Trump lost
- 19:42Speaker 7: Arizona and that cost him his job.
- 19:44Speaker 4: Talking with former Charles and maryor Danny Jones while we're
- 19:46Speaker 4: talking about to national, what are you what are you
- 19:49Speaker 4: hearing right now? Danny? What do you think is going
- 19:50Speaker 4: to happen in the presidential race?
- 19:53Speaker 7: It's the first time in my life I can't tell.
- 19:55Speaker 4: Really Newpoleon was there was a new Poleon. I think
- 19:58Speaker 4: from ABC News and Axos that orispus I should say
- 20:02Speaker 4: that I'm not pronouncing that right. But anyway, fifty to
- 20:05Speaker 4: forty eight, it means nothing. And that's doesn't mean well
- 20:08Speaker 4: within the margin of error there anyway.
- 20:10Speaker 7: That's also you've got the down vote with Trump, it
- 20:13Speaker 7: means nothing. And he's showing more strength. I said, I was,
- 20:17Speaker 7: you know, the big expert here. Don't look at Michigan. No,
- 20:19Speaker 7: and we'll look at Wisconsin. Well, guess what, look at
- 20:21Speaker 7: Michigan and look at Wisconsin because they're not going to play.
- 20:24Speaker 7: But he has to win. And you remember this, Tony Hodge.
- 20:28Speaker 7: He has to win if Trump wants to win this election, Arizona, Pennsylvania,
- 20:34Speaker 7: North Carolina, and Georgia. If he does, I predict to win.
- 20:39Speaker 7: But Pennsylvania is going to be really tough because and
- 20:42Speaker 7: he the one thing, there's two people that have a
- 20:45Speaker 7: lot of influence in the Trump camp, and it's Addison,
- 20:53Speaker 7: the wife of the late Los Angeles or Las Vegas
- 20:57Speaker 7: sands guy, and Twitter what's his name? Elon Musk is
- 21:04Speaker 7: spitting forty five million a month into get out the
- 21:07Speaker 7: vote because Republicans aren't good at that. They're not as good.
- 21:10Speaker 7: I mean, these Democrats, they've got it down. They know
- 21:13Speaker 7: how to vote, artists, they know how to do everything.
- 21:15Speaker 7: Every day they accuse of the Republicans of being illegal
- 21:19Speaker 7: they do.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Let me run something by you here, Danny, and here's
- 21:23Speaker 4: what wearies me most about the White House race. According
- 21:25Speaker 4: to the polls, as I said, the race is so close,
- 21:28Speaker 4: and unless Trump is completely blown out, which I don't
- 21:31Speaker 4: think is going to happen. I fear that if Kamala
- 21:35Speaker 4: Harris is declared the winner, we may have some things
- 21:38Speaker 4: going on that may look make January sixth look like
- 21:41Speaker 4: a church picnic.
- 21:42Speaker 7: I think it'll be the other way around if Trump
- 21:44Speaker 7: gets selected. I think you'll have rights in the streets.
- 21:47Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not saying it can't happen, but I mean,
- 21:51Speaker 4: you know it was.
- 21:52Speaker 7: He doesn't have a throne. He doesn't have a throne now.
- 21:55Speaker 4: But he's got but he's got a And please hear
- 21:57Speaker 4: me out on this. I'm not saying everybody that votes
- 21:59Speaker 4: or or supports Donald Trump as in a cult. I
- 22:02Speaker 4: don't believe that. But he does have a lot of
- 22:04Speaker 4: cult like followers.
- 22:06Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Uh, and and look what they did on January the sixth,
- 22:09Speaker 4: And if it comes down to this race, I'm not
- 22:11Speaker 4: saying And again please don't hit me up on the
- 22:14Speaker 4: text here and say that I'm saying all the people
- 22:15Speaker 4: that are going to vote for Trump or and a cult,
- 22:17Speaker 4: I'm not. I am just saying that it does worry
- 22:21Speaker 4: me that they are not going, especially when their leader
- 22:23Speaker 4: is pretty much saying that the only way. He said that,
- 22:27Speaker 4: the only way that Harris beats me is by cheating.
- 22:31Speaker 7: He said that, well what he expected to say. I mean,
- 22:34Speaker 7: it's just that's his stick. But he he will have
- 22:40Speaker 7: a tough he will have a tough time. And if
- 22:43Speaker 7: he if he doesn't get elected, oh, he'll squaw and
- 22:46Speaker 7: they'll go to They'll go to uh, they'll go to court.
- 22:49Speaker 7: But remember if the if the Republicans lose the House
- 22:52Speaker 7: of Representatives, which I'm predicting they will, you can't act
- 22:56Speaker 7: like that. You can't act like Matt Getz and Marjorie
- 22:59Speaker 7: and Taylor Green and put those out, Nancy Mason, put
- 23:02Speaker 7: those people out of the faces of your party and
- 23:04Speaker 7: expect them to to That's who you want as your leaders. Now.
- 23:08Speaker 7: The Senate's totally different. The Senate I think got a
- 23:12Speaker 7: good shot at being fifty one fifty two Republicans. You agree,
- 23:16Speaker 7: I agree, yeah, and uh, and I'd like to see
- 23:22Speaker 7: I mean, Ohio, and I don't know how that Montana
- 23:26Speaker 7: stays Democrat. I just I don't get it. And what
- 23:29Speaker 7: they expect to happen if you keep electing those those folks.
- 23:33Speaker 7: But it's because it's such a Trump state, you know.
- 23:39Speaker 7: And uh, but I think it's going to be a
- 23:42Speaker 7: very tough race. I'm not as worried about that as
- 23:44Speaker 7: you are, David. And it's not a cult, it's a religion.
- 23:48Speaker 7: It's an act of faith. In other words, when you
- 23:50Speaker 7: believe something, you're shown incontrovertible facts that this and this
- 23:56Speaker 7: and this are true, and you chose to come over
- 23:58Speaker 7: here and believe something else. That's not a cult. That's
- 24:01Speaker 7: a religion. In other words, it's an act of faith.
- 24:03Speaker 7: With President Trump, they believe in him if he says it.
- 24:07Speaker 7: I had a friend of mine, real good friend of mine,
- 24:09Speaker 7: not a college ed, a college boy, and he said
- 24:12Speaker 7: to me, he said, he said, well, Trump says, you're
- 24:15Speaker 7: gonna He's gonna deport all the all the illegals. He can't.
- 24:19Speaker 7: They the ones that have gone for asylum, they're entitled
- 24:22Speaker 7: to hearings. You can't deport those people.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Well, and some of the things that are coming out
- 24:26Speaker 4: of Trump, I mean, like you know, the Aurora, Colorado incident,
- 24:28Speaker 4: for example, they had a incident. I was watching this
- 24:31Speaker 4: over the weekend. I actually read an article about it too.
- 24:33Speaker 4: They had an incident in Aurora, Colorado, in a particular
- 24:36Speaker 4: housing complex where there were some some migrants that had
- 24:41Speaker 4: come in there and were causing issues. It was not
- 24:44Speaker 4: the entire town, and a few, yeah, it was a few,
- 24:47Speaker 4: and they got rid of them. And even the mayor
- 24:50Speaker 4: of Aurora, who is a Republican, said, what Donald Trump
- 24:53Speaker 4: is saying right now is not true. This was not
- 24:55Speaker 4: migrants taking over the town. They had some bad folks
- 24:58Speaker 4: that came in here into this house complex, and they
- 25:01Speaker 4: interviewed the tenants and they said, no, once they got
- 25:03Speaker 4: rid of these people, there hadn't been a problem. You know,
- 25:05Speaker 4: they could easily just as easily has been Americans that
- 25:07Speaker 4: did that, and it has happened with Americans in the paste.
- 25:09Speaker 7: There's a thing, I think it was on Netflix called
- 25:12Speaker 7: how to Become a Tyrant and tyrants don't tolerate any
- 25:16Speaker 7: kind of descent. And they went through Castro, and they
- 25:19Speaker 7: went through Mao and Chi and all the well known ones.
- 25:24Speaker 7: But I, as you know, became an independent and didn't
- 25:28Speaker 7: support Trump. I supported the Libertarian. I voted for the
- 25:30Speaker 7: libertary in the last two elections, and I'll vote for
- 25:32Speaker 7: him again because I wouldn't. I'm not going to I've
- 25:35Speaker 7: never voted for a Democrat for president. But when Kelly
- 25:39Speaker 7: and Conway Fitzpatrick Conway came here with doctor Price to
- 25:44Speaker 7: visit the fire station, they had a young lady named
- 25:47Speaker 7: Laura Truman call my office to direct me not to
- 25:50Speaker 7: show up there. They don't tolerate any as if I
- 25:53Speaker 7: was going to do something and draw some attention to myself,
- 25:56Speaker 7: I'd like to have met doctor Price. He was at
- 25:59Speaker 7: HHR and I'd watched him as a congressman. He seemed
- 26:02Speaker 7: pretty civil. I don't care about her, but that's just
- 26:05Speaker 7: they don't tolerate dissent, but.
- 26:07Speaker 4: They violand showing five Any Life Bright to You part
- 26:09Speaker 4: by Morgan and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm, texays Dave.
- 26:12Speaker 4: What do your guests think about the Trump campaign's plans
- 26:15Speaker 4: to not sortify elections in counties around the country controlled
- 26:18Speaker 4: by MAGA people.
- 26:20Speaker 7: I don't think they're going to have any choice. I
- 26:22Speaker 7: think the courts will step in. That's not gonna happen, David.
- 26:27Speaker 7: If they'll put it in receivership, they have to, the
- 26:30Speaker 7: federal courts will stay in. We have federal jurisdiction over
- 26:34Speaker 7: all these elections since its presidential candidate anyway, you know,
- 26:39Speaker 7: or if you if you deny one of the charges
- 26:42Speaker 7: against President of Trump in his fourth count in that
- 26:44Speaker 7: January sixth indicatment to the civil rights violation, that by
- 26:48Speaker 7: denying the people to vote, that he violated their civil rights.
- 26:53Speaker 7: And that's that's how they used to It's a clan thing.
- 26:56Speaker 7: They used to get the klan that way, but back
- 26:58Speaker 7: in the sixties, because the state courts wouldn't convict him
- 27:01Speaker 7: to the indict hment federal court on civil rights violation. Well,
- 27:04Speaker 7: that count number four in that indictment is a civil
- 27:07Speaker 7: rights violation because he was trying to deny the people
- 27:10Speaker 7: that they're right to vote by interfering the election. I'm
- 27:13Speaker 7: not saying it's right. I'm not saying it'd be found guilty,
- 27:17Speaker 7: but that somebody that tries that now is fooling around
- 27:20Speaker 7: with serious, serious fire because the Federals will step in Texas.
- 27:25Speaker 4: Dave omg, how could anyone vote Harris with her nearly
- 27:29Speaker 4: four year record of devastating policies. Trump has approven history
- 27:32Speaker 4: in his policies. It's common sense, Dave. It's common sense.
- 27:35Speaker 7: Danny, Well, not to me, But I'm not voting for either.
- 27:42Speaker 7: I wouldn't want my fingerprint on any of this. But
- 27:45Speaker 7: and the best vote I think since Nixon, the best
- 27:49Speaker 7: vote I ever made was Gary Johnson in twenty sixteen.
- 27:52Speaker 7: I was involved in the campaign. I was a high
- 27:55Speaker 7: ranking elected official. I went to DC and was interviewed
- 27:57Speaker 7: by people for all over the world.
- 28:01Speaker 4: Uh, Danny Forore, we let you go. Text says Democrats
- 28:03Speaker 4: and Independence for Harris, won't storm the capitol waving Harris
- 28:06Speaker 4: flags over Harris lost? Danny Jones, why waste your presidential vote?
- 28:11Speaker 7: I'm not wasting anything in this state. We all know
- 28:14Speaker 7: who's going to win. But I have my own preference
- 28:17Speaker 7: in it to throwaway vote and it matters. And if
- 28:20Speaker 7: you if you don't think it matters, go back to
- 28:22Speaker 7: sixty eight when George Wallace got ten million votes in
- 28:26Speaker 7: thirteen percent of the That's the election I watched closely.
- 28:28Speaker 7: I still really started watching them closely. And everybody after
- 28:32Speaker 7: that was going, how can we get the Wallace vote
- 28:34Speaker 7: without dealing with the racism? You know, well, guess who
- 28:37Speaker 7: won the Republican.
- 28:40Speaker 4: Final text here says, wait, so you disagree with JD.
- 28:43Speaker 4: Vance and the response to Martha Radditts. I saw that
- 28:45Speaker 4: interview yesterday with Martha Raddis was this grace It was, Martha,
- 28:49Speaker 4: do you hear yourself? Only a handful of apartment complexes
- 28:52Speaker 4: in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs, and Donald
- 28:54Speaker 4: Trump it's a problem and not Kamala Harris's open border.
- 28:57Speaker 4: Americans are so fed up, says a Texture with what's
- 29:00Speaker 4: went on, and they have every right to be. And
- 29:02Speaker 4: I really find this exchange sort of interesting. This is
- 29:04Speaker 4: jd Vance talking interesting because you seem to be more
- 29:07Speaker 4: focused with nitpicking everything Donald Trump has said, rather than
- 29:11Speaker 4: acknowledging that the apartment complexes in the US are being
- 29:14Speaker 4: taken over by violent gangs.
- 29:16Speaker 7: Well, I watched that show every week and it's the
- 29:18Speaker 7: worst show on television. It is the most biased show.
- 29:23Speaker 7: And any Republican that comes on there that gets grilled
- 29:26Speaker 7: by those people treated the way he was and the
- 29:30Speaker 7: way George Stephanopolis treats people. And the Democrat goes on and.
- 29:35Speaker 4: You know, one thing I think that they need to
- 29:37Speaker 4: get beyond, Danny, and then we'll let you go. One
- 29:39Speaker 4: thing I think that they need to get beyond is
- 29:41Speaker 4: every week on that show, whether it's the House speaker,
- 29:44Speaker 4: whether it's jd Vance as it was yesterday, either Stephanopolis
- 29:47Speaker 4: or Martha Rittitts always says. They keep going back to
- 29:50Speaker 4: that same question, do you think that Donald Trump fairly
- 29:55Speaker 4: lost the election in twenty twenty? Most Republicans most are
- 29:59Speaker 4: going to sp see in that position, are going to
- 30:01Speaker 4: sidestep the issue, of course, and uh and and because
- 30:04Speaker 4: they don't want to be on record as saying that
- 30:05Speaker 4: they that they think that he lost it. But they
- 30:08Speaker 4: need to drop that though in my opinion, Danny, I
- 30:09Speaker 4: think they did, because it's you're just you're beating your
- 30:11Speaker 4: head against the walls.
- 30:13Speaker 7: What they're trying to make news and they're trying to say.
- 30:15Speaker 7: Jd Vance admitted today that Donald Trump really lost the
- 30:19Speaker 7: election when he knows he lost. I mean, Biden's the president,
- 30:23Speaker 7: isn't he?
- 30:24Speaker 4: All Right, Danny, You and I will be manning the
- 30:27Speaker 4: election desk on election night, Nodge. He's not a bad guy.
- 30:33Speaker 7: Well I'm not a bad guy either, but he may
- 30:36Speaker 7: not think that. I just told him a good story.
- 30:39Speaker 8: So he said it's going in the book, So I'm
- 30:42Speaker 8: but you know it's not going to be published after
- 30:45Speaker 8: his daddy's or he said.
- 30:46Speaker 13: No, no, no, I'm gonna Are you getting it done?
- 30:48Speaker 4: Am I going to make the book?
- 30:49Speaker 5: Danny?
- 30:50Speaker 7: Yeah, you came and stole my jobs.
- 30:53Speaker 4: Oh I didn't.
- 30:54Speaker 7: Steal your v I know you didn't. The book will
- 30:57Speaker 7: be called if I write it. We called call me
- 30:59Speaker 7: Dan because that's the name I always wanted to go by,
- 31:03Speaker 7: and people around where I grew up, they never wanted
- 31:05Speaker 7: to call me that. They wouldn't call me Dan or
- 31:07Speaker 7: Daniel or something like that. Call me Danny, call me Danny.
- 31:10Speaker 7: All right, that's my name. And over on the West
- 31:13Speaker 7: side it's Danny Jones.

- 35:12Speaker 4: Tony Hodge, Good morning.
- 35:13Speaker 8: Sir, Hey Dave, good good morning. I'll tell you what
- 35:16Speaker 8: following Dave, following Danny Jones. When you told me before
- 35:20Speaker 8: the show, you said you're gonna be on after Danny Jones.
- 35:22Speaker 8: Oh my goodness, I got to go on after him
- 35:24Speaker 8: because he's you know, it's hard to hard to follow
- 35:26Speaker 8: an act like that. But we were sitting in the
- 35:29Speaker 8: green room together and I mentioned that to him. I said, man,
- 35:31Speaker 8: I got to follow you, and he said, well, he said,
- 35:34Speaker 8: I've got swim class up at the YMCA at ten o'clock.
- 35:37Speaker 8: He said, so, if I could go before you, I
- 35:39Speaker 8: really want to make swim class. So I thought that
- 35:41Speaker 8: was funny. But I have a lot of respect for
- 35:43Speaker 8: Danny Jones. We don't always agree everything on everything politically,
- 35:47Speaker 8: but he's been elected so many times as a Republican
- 35:50Speaker 8: in what used to be a Democratic stronghold, and there
- 35:52Speaker 8: were some lines that he had to you know, sort
- 35:54Speaker 8: of tight rope on. But you know, he told me
- 35:56Speaker 8: in the green room, he said, uh, I've never been leashed.
- 35:58Speaker 8: You know, he's always been and he's kind of walked
- 36:01Speaker 8: to his own own beat and own.
- 36:03Speaker 4: He's got his own band. He does walk to the
- 36:05Speaker 4: he's got his own band, his own dang band.
- 36:07Speaker 8: Yeah, it's like like the Dick Van Dyke on Mary Poppins.
- 36:11Speaker 8: You know, he's just he's got his own band.
- 36:12Speaker 2: But he.
- 36:14Speaker 8: You know, I have a lot of respect for that so,
- 36:16Speaker 8: but let me tell you something. He's got some stories.
- 36:20Speaker 8: We were in the green room and talk about some color.
- 36:23Speaker 8: That's a lot of fun.
- 36:24Speaker 4: But I was gonna say, I've never seen your face
- 36:26Speaker 4: that red while I walk downstairs. It was.
- 36:29Speaker 8: It was a eye opening But it's entertaining, it's fun,
- 36:32Speaker 8: and I hope he puts it in writing. You know,
- 36:33Speaker 8: Danny's been around for a long time and we enjoy him.
- 36:37Speaker 8: He needs to get this stuff down in writing because
- 36:38Speaker 8: some of it you can't come on Dave Allen shows
- 36:41Speaker 8: and say out loud, but exactly right.
- 36:42Speaker 13: Anyway, looking forward to it.
- 36:43Speaker 4: Let me knock out some texts here. This one was
- 36:45Speaker 4: for Danny, and I know he's listening right now. They
- 36:47Speaker 4: tried to do it illegally in twenty twenty, and we'll
- 36:50Speaker 4: try it legally now that the Supreme Court is on
- 36:52Speaker 4: his side. Talking about Donald Trump not paranoid. He did
- 36:55Speaker 4: it last time and has promised to do it again
- 36:58Speaker 4: this year with actual elected and appointed. A fish. It's
- 37:00Speaker 4: one thing to not support Trump, you need to speak
- 37:03Speaker 4: against him, Texas. Danny is culturally liberal and most Republicans
- 37:07Speaker 4: these days would have never voted for him today, Texas,
- 37:12Speaker 4: Why do people think a vote for anyone but the
- 37:15Speaker 4: winner as a throwaway vote? Tex says, enjoying the discussion.
- 37:19Speaker 4: I don't care for Trump as a person, but I
- 37:20Speaker 4: can't vote for Harris. We were better off economically under
- 37:23Speaker 4: the Trump administration. So what is a voter to do?
- 37:28Speaker 4: Tex says, It's important to know which Republicans would go
- 37:32Speaker 4: along with overturning results of an election. They're setting the
- 37:34Speaker 4: stage for it. In this election, there's a whole lot,
- 37:37Speaker 4: a whole party. Rather the Republicans without the fortitude to
- 37:40Speaker 4: say Trump lost. The Republicans who do have a pair
- 37:43Speaker 4: have been excommunicated from the cult I mean religion, I
- 37:46Speaker 4: mean Republican Party. Texas, Danny is incapable of logic and reason.
- 37:50Speaker 4: Trump supporters will not engage in political violence, despite having
- 37:53Speaker 4: did so January sixth and when he was indicted and
- 37:56Speaker 4: at numerous rallies, library, school board meetings, etc. Parades, etc.
- 38:00Speaker 4: Disgraced Trump says that criminals who literally assaulted police worth
- 38:03Speaker 4: their own shields and batons, while calling the cops traders,
- 38:06Speaker 4: are political prisoners who are unfairly treated the pos I
- 38:10Speaker 4: need to spell that out for you. Watch the Capitol attack,
- 38:12Speaker 4: for one hundred and eighty seven minutes and did nothing
- 38:14Speaker 4: to stop it. But yeah, has been washed had washed
- 38:18Speaker 4: up Danny and John's okay, he didn't need to say that, thanks,
- 38:20Speaker 4: says I used to admire Danny. Not wanting to put
- 38:23Speaker 4: his fingerprints on either candidate shows he does not give
- 38:26Speaker 4: a heck about our country. Well, I don't. I don't
- 38:28Speaker 4: think that's entirely true Texas, Dave, you can pick you
- 38:32Speaker 4: can pick Trump, but his policies will stop the invasion
- 38:34Speaker 4: at the border, improve our economy, stop men competing with women,
- 38:38Speaker 4: says a texture. Tony Hodge is here. How's a podcast,
- 38:42Speaker 4: Kevin Man. It's doing good. It's doing really good.
- 38:44Speaker 8: Listenership is much higher than what I had expected, so
- 38:48Speaker 8: it grows every week. So we're we're having a good time.
- 38:52Speaker 8: I'll actually be I'll be podcasting today. It'll be out
- 38:55Speaker 8: in the morning. We're going to talk with Delegate Adam Burkhammer.
- 38:58Speaker 8: He's from up in the up in Louis County area,
- 39:00Speaker 8: and he wants to talk about the foster care issues,
- 39:03Speaker 8: childcare issues, things like that are affecting our state right now.
- 39:06Speaker 8: He's very, very passionate about it, and so we're going
- 39:08Speaker 8: to have him on. He's going to talk about it,
- 39:09Speaker 8: and we encourage, we encourage the listeners, the voters, you know,
- 39:13Speaker 8: tune in.
- 39:13Speaker 13: It's a viewpoint with Tony Hodge.
- 39:15Speaker 8: You can find it on all your podcast apps and
- 39:18Speaker 8: it'll be an interesting conversation with him about something that's
- 39:20Speaker 8: very very important right now.
- 39:22Speaker 4: But Dave Alan showing five Vittylive brought to you a

- 39:42Speaker 4: the power always stays on. Caller checks. My good buddy,
- 39:45Speaker 4: Rich the realtor of three zero four nine three two
- 39:47Speaker 4: seventy four eighty eight, let him tell you more about
- 39:49Speaker 4: this property, Tony. I'm going to ask you the same
- 39:51Speaker 4: thing I asked Danny. Is there any way that come
- 39:54Speaker 4: November fifth, at say ten pm or sooner, we are
- 39:57Speaker 4: not calling Jim Justice Senator elect or Patrick Morrissey governor elects.
- 40:02Speaker 8: What time do the polls close is seven Jim Justice
- 40:05Speaker 8: will be declared the winner of the Senate election at
- 40:09Speaker 8: seven thirty and Patrick Morrisey will be declared the winner
- 40:12Speaker 8: of the gubernatorial race at seven thirty PM.
- 40:14Speaker 4: I saw some I don't know if you called it
- 40:16Speaker 4: polling or not, but I did see some numbers over
- 40:18Speaker 4: the weekend that said there's something like a ninety nine
- 40:20Speaker 4: percent chance, and I don't know what they based that on,
- 40:23Speaker 4: just something I read, a ninety nine percent chance that
- 40:25Speaker 4: Morrissey and Jim Justice went absolutely.
- 40:28Speaker 13: I mean, there's no question about it there.
- 40:31Speaker 4: You know.
- 40:31Speaker 8: Patrick Morrissey is a stalwart Conservative in West Virginia. His record,
- 40:36Speaker 8: I mean, his record speaks for itself. But even more
- 40:38Speaker 8: than that, his opponent, the mayor over in Huntington, which
- 40:42Speaker 8: has been the opioid you know, central for the last
- 40:45Speaker 8: several years. His ideas just they might resonate with with
- 40:49Speaker 8: the base and core of his party, but look, this
- 40:51Speaker 8: is a general election and he's pushing ideas out there
- 40:54Speaker 8: that go toward the core of his party, and he's
- 40:58Speaker 8: supposed to appeal to everyone West Virginia, and he's pushing
- 41:01Speaker 8: these extreme liberal social issues.
- 41:03Speaker 16: You know.
- 41:04Speaker 8: I'll tell you the interesting thing. I hear a lot
- 41:05Speaker 8: of Democratic Party leaders. They love to say that Republicans
- 41:10Speaker 8: fight these culture wars. All they all they care about
- 41:12Speaker 8: is the culture wars. Well, if you look at what
- 41:14Speaker 8: the Democrats are pushing these days, it's all culture war stuff.
- 41:18Speaker 8: So they can't just it's on a one way street.
- 41:22Speaker 8: And uh, Mayor Steve Williams, he's he's a cultural warrior.
- 41:25Speaker 8: Now he's pushing these these radical left social issues. And
- 41:30Speaker 8: you know, here I'm just on here commentating. He's all
- 41:32Speaker 8: I'm doing. I'm just giving my opinion, you know. But uh,
- 41:35Speaker 8: but it doesn't resonate with people.
- 41:38Speaker 4: And so yeah, but.
- 41:39Speaker 8: Patrick Morrison's gonna run away with it, Jim Justice, I mean,
- 41:41Speaker 8: my goodness, I mean you can't. He's uh, he is
- 41:44Speaker 8: a political force in this state unlike anything I've ever seen.
- 41:48Speaker 8: Arch Moore was uh was in office when I was
- 41:51Speaker 8: a wee little guy, as uh. Uh Mayor Danny Jones
- 41:55Speaker 8: and I were discussing earlier I was a baby, but uh,
- 41:57Speaker 8: I don't remember him as well. But I've never seen
- 42:00Speaker 8: a political force like Jim Justice, and yeah, he will
- 42:03Speaker 8: be the next United States Senator, and I think he's
- 42:06Speaker 8: going to be.
- 42:06Speaker 13: That vote that will flip the Senate to the Republicans.
- 42:08Speaker 4: Before we go to break. What about the legislative races,
- 42:11Speaker 4: I mean, you being with the state party, I know
- 42:15Speaker 4: that you have to keep an eye on some races,
- 42:17Speaker 4: not necessarily in this area. You're watching what goes on
- 42:19Speaker 4: in Hampshire County and you know, whatever county in Monroe
- 42:22Speaker 4: County across the state of West Virginia. Anyway that we
- 42:26Speaker 4: don't see even more Republicans elected this time, well, any way,
- 42:30Speaker 4: that we don't That's what I was saying.
- 42:31Speaker 8: Yeah, well, I mean we may see more Republicans elected,
- 42:35Speaker 8: but I'm going to tell you this. So we've talked
- 42:37Speaker 8: a little bit about the national races. So Kamala Harris,
- 42:42Speaker 8: she's a radical liberal. You know, she's not going to
- 42:45Speaker 8: get very many votes in West Virginia. But the Democratic
- 42:48Speaker 8: Party in West Virginia has tethered themselves to Kamala Harris
- 42:51Speaker 8: and Tim Walls, and I'm glad they have because they're
- 42:55Speaker 8: terrible for this state. Their policies do not resonate with
- 42:58Speaker 8: West Virginia. Their policies will not help West Virginians, and
- 43:01Speaker 8: the fact that they're tethering all their down bellow candidates
- 43:06Speaker 8: to the Harris Walls ticket, it's just going to pull
- 43:09Speaker 8: them down. And we're gonna look, I don't want to
- 43:11Speaker 8: be overly confident, but we're going to maintain our supermajorities
- 43:16Speaker 8: and we may increase them. And you know that's you
- 43:21Speaker 8: know West Virginia's has West Virginians have clearly chosen the
- 43:24Speaker 8: Conservative Republican Party and they have very clearly rejected the
- 43:28Speaker 8: Liberal Democratic Party.

- 47:04Speaker 16: instead of culture wars that make your life worse, not
- 47:07Speaker 16: any better. Like you, I know we.
- 47:08Speaker 7: Still have some work to do this November.
- 47:11Speaker 19: Vote Kayla Young for House of Delegates to make West
- 47:13Speaker 19: Virginia the best it can be and to make government
- 47:16Speaker 19: more boring. Paid for by Kayla Young for West Virginia.
- 47:23Speaker 4: Four minutes away from ten day Vallen Bigley Piggley Wiggley
- 47:27Speaker 4: Hotline three zero four three four five fifty eight fifty eight.
- 47:29Speaker 4: Tony the Taylor text three zero four nine three five
- 47:32Speaker 4: five zero zero eight Tony Hodges here, Texas. Patrick Morrissey's
- 47:35Speaker 4: from New Jersey says a lot that the West Virginia
- 47:37Speaker 4: Republicans can't find a better candidate among them who's actually
- 47:41Speaker 4: from West Virginia. What are the things that the text
- 47:43Speaker 4: would have said the same thing about Jay Rockefeller.
- 47:45Speaker 8: Yeah, I don't understand. It just doesn't make sense to me.
- 47:47Speaker 8: I mean, we want people to come to West Virginia.
- 47:50Speaker 8: We are open for people to move here. We want
- 47:52Speaker 8: people here. And when people come, if they want to
- 47:54Speaker 8: run for office, if they're good conservative people, we're gonna
- 47:56Speaker 8: elect them.
- 47:56Speaker 13: So we're gonna elect Patrick Morrisey.
- 47:57Speaker 4: Tex says. The Magga insurgency has taken over West Virginia,
- 48:00Speaker 4: and the West Virginia Republican Party gladly accepted it. To
- 48:04Speaker 4: all of our detriments. Tex says, you know, cackles constantly.
- 48:07Speaker 4: I guess that's Kamala constantly bracts proudly how she prosecuted
- 48:11Speaker 4: and imprisoned so many criminals. So why is she now
- 48:13Speaker 4: the biggest advocate for ensuring these male criminals who say
- 48:16Speaker 4: they feel like women can get taxpayer funded sex changes.
- 48:20Speaker 4: There's a reason that police unions and now the Border
- 48:22Speaker 4: Patrol have endorsed Trump and not the former prosecutor, attorney
- 48:25Speaker 4: general and Vice president Kamala Tony real quick when voters
- 48:29Speaker 4: go to the polls on November fifth. In addition to
- 48:31Speaker 4: choosing candidates, they're also going to be looking at an
- 48:33Speaker 4: amendment that would ban physician assistant suicide in the state. Now.
- 48:36Speaker 4: Bradon writes about a lead story this morning post to
- 48:38Speaker 4: wv metronews dot com. The Catholic Church is out with
- 48:41Speaker 4: the statement that they support this ban. Explain your position
- 48:46Speaker 4: on this, and this is your position, not necessarily that
- 48:48Speaker 4: of the state Republican Party, although I have a feeling
- 48:50Speaker 4: they're probably pretty similar. But yeah, go ahead, Yeah.
- 48:52Speaker 8: The Republican Party is going to come out in favor
- 48:55Speaker 8: of voting for this amendment. And so what it is personally,
- 48:58Speaker 8: I mean, we don't have a lot of time here,
- 48:59Speaker 8: but it's a value on life.
- 49:02Speaker 4: What we do.
- 49:03Speaker 8: Both sides of the political aisle, left and right, both
- 49:08Speaker 8: we will both fund programs that will discourage suicide. You
- 49:11Speaker 8: can walk in to places I always say all the time,
- 49:13Speaker 8: I walk into one of my favorite bookstores in Charleston
- 49:15Speaker 8: and in the bathroom there's a sign that says, you know,
- 49:18Speaker 8: feeling like suicide, call nine eight eight.
- 49:20Speaker 13: There's help for you. Both sides of the aisle.
- 49:22Speaker 8: Fund things that discourage that discourage suicide. And so that's
- 49:26Speaker 8: all this does, is this just puts it in our
- 49:27Speaker 8: constitution that would discourage this behavior. We value life, we
- 49:31Speaker 8: want people to have good end of life care, we
- 49:33Speaker 8: want pain management care, all these things, None of that
- 49:36Speaker 8: will change. All this is to prevent doctor Kavorkian style
- 49:41Speaker 8: medical care coming into West Virginia. And so I was
- 49:44Speaker 8: talking to a woman just this morning and she was
- 49:47Speaker 8: telling me about her her father had an industrial accident
- 49:50Speaker 8: and has had a hard time, a hard goo of
- 49:53Speaker 8: it for several years, you know, and she's she was
- 49:55Speaker 8: kind of on the fence like, well, you know, I
- 49:56Speaker 8: don't know, you know, he's kind of depressed about his
- 49:59Speaker 8: life style. But her issue was if if we put
- 50:02Speaker 8: him in hospice, then he can no longer have the
- 50:05Speaker 8: normal medical care that he needs. But then if we
- 50:07Speaker 8: keep him in the normal medical care that he needs,
- 50:09Speaker 8: then they can't offer pain management like hospice can. And
- 50:12Speaker 8: I told her, I said, well that what that does,
- 50:14Speaker 8: and what this whole conversation around assistus suicide does is
- 50:17Speaker 8: it magnifies problems in our healthcare system that we maybe
- 50:22Speaker 8: aren't addressing right now. And so when we get this pass,
- 50:25Speaker 8: maybe there's some things in the healthcare system that we
- 50:27Speaker 8: need to address him fixed.
- 50:28Speaker 4: All right, Happy Columbus Day or Indigenous people.
- 50:30Speaker 8: It's Columbus Day. Christopher Columbus was a great explorer. He
- 50:34Speaker 8: thought he was going to the to the Indies, but
- 50:35Speaker 8: he made it to America and he opened up a
- 50:37Speaker 8: whole new half of the world for people to live
- 50:40Speaker 8: in freedom. And if you're against Columbus, you're against immigrants.
- 50:44Speaker 4: Thank goodness. He didn't travel I sixty four. He'd still
- 50:47Speaker 4: be in traffic, all right. He was prone to getting lost. Anyway, Tony,
- 50:50Speaker 4: I appreciate you being here, thanks to Dandy Jones and
- 50:52Speaker 4: the folks from scare View as well Hobby coming up
