- 0:01YouTube Hello to everyone.
- 0:31If you're watching this video, then you are part of the TTOR
- 0:36army, an army that is building itself up one subscriber at a
- 0:39time. As you can see from the title
- 0:42and thumbnail of today's video, today we're going to be talking
- 0:46about the history of TTOR my history.
- 0:51More specifically, the history of me as a content creator and
- 0:56why it is that everyone hates me.
- 0:59In particular, why people in both sides of the young Earth
- 1:03creationism versus atheistic evolution debate, why everyone
- 1:08involved in that debate on both sides for the most part hates
- 1:12me, or at least is very upset and offended by the things I say
- 1:16and teach on my channel. The reason why I'm even doing
- 1:21this video is because I was inspired to do so by my content
- 1:26creator friend Brett Keene. About 6 going on seven months
- 1:30ago, Brett Keene put out this video titled Brett Keene, The
- 1:35History of Brett Keene and Why Atheists Wish I Was Dead.
- 1:39It is in this video, which is over an hour long, where Brett
- 1:42Keene basically gives his testimony on why he became an
- 1:46atheist in the 1st place and how he became a YouTuber and how he
- 1:51became a popular atheist YouTuber.
- 1:54And then his deconversion from atheism and the horrible things
- 1:59that caused the atheist community to do to him in
- 2:01particular as a retaliation for him daring to leave atheism
- 2:06behind. I found it to be a very
- 2:10interesting and inspirational video.
- 2:13Not because of the the latter part of the video where he
- 2:16talked about all the horrible things atheist did to him, or
- 2:20just this general condemnation of atheism in general, but the
- 2:24idea of giving my fans a synopsis of my history on the
- 2:30Internet that actually was very appealing to me.
- 2:33Brett basically did it in this hour long video and I want to do
- 2:38the same thing. Now naturally I don't have as
- 2:42cool and interesting of a back story as Brett Keen does, but
- 2:47I'll do my best to entertain you with my story.
- 2:51And when talking about the story, the history of TTOR, the
- 2:56content creator, well, it's been quite a ride.
- 3:00The beginning for me would be the 2011, 2012 school year when
- 3:07I was a student at Lynnfield College.
- 3:10What happened at the time was that I was taking an intro to
- 3:14philosophy class. At least it was a class like
- 3:17that. I don't remember if that was the
- 3:19exact name or not. So naturally at this time I was
- 3:232122 years old and basically I went through this class and I
- 3:29was given an introduction to various world views.
- 3:33So like various forms of secular atheism and Hinduism and Islam
- 3:38and feminism, And basically I was given an introduction to
- 3:43every worldview except my own, which was the biblical
- 3:47worldview. And as I was going through the
- 3:50class, I actually had a lot of nights where it was really hard
- 3:54to get to sleep and I'd end up laying awake in my bed for hours
- 3:58because I was dealing with all these worldviews that were
- 4:01opposed to mine. And I knew they were wrong deep
- 4:05down in my heart. But because I was ignorant about
- 4:08what the Bible said and I didn't know how to intellectually
- 4:12defend the biblical worldview at that point, it was causing me
- 4:16some anxiety. Not that I might be wrong, but I
- 4:20didn't like the fact that I was ignorant.
- 4:23And so naturally this caused me a lot of nights where it was
- 4:25hard to get to sleep and somehow I made it through all my classes
- 4:30and got passing grades or better.
- 4:32And, you know, life went on. But at that time I decided I was
- 4:36tired of being ignorant. And so after that class was
- 4:41over, or towards the end of that class, which would have been in
- 4:44early 2012, I decided to start reading up on the biblical
- 4:50worldview and how to defend it. In other words, I started my
- 4:54journey into Christian apologetics, which started out
- 4:58with reading books and reading articles on the Internet and
- 5:03watching videos on YouTube, back when YouTube was in its
- 5:07precensorship era and it was still a free platform where
- 5:11people can say and do whatever they wanted as long as it was
- 5:14legally protected by the 1st Amendment.
- 5:17And back when a lot of Christian content creators hadn't figured
- 5:22out that apologetics was something you could get popular
- 5:24doing back in the day. So I started consuming that
- 5:27material just so that I could learn how to intellectually
- 5:31defend the biblical worldview. Now at the time I had old Earth
- 5:36creationism beliefs, or at least I leaned towards that.
- 5:40My memory of back then is a little hard to remember because
- 5:43the last 12 years have been very busy for a variety of reasons.
- 5:48But after I went through that process for a couple of years, I
- 5:54decided in was it, I think September of 2013?
- 6:00After spending a couple of years soaking up apologetics materials
- 6:04and realizing that, you know, I have some insight into the
- 6:08materials I'm consuming that I would love to put out there on
- 6:11the Internet, and if it helps even one person, it would be
- 6:14worth it. So in the fall of 2013, I think
- 6:17it was September of 2013, I started TTOR as a blog on
- 6:23blogspot.com. And for a couple of years the
- 6:28way it would work is that I'd write one or two articles a
- 6:31month dealing with biblical topics, apologetics topics or
- 6:37stuff going on in the world as far as issues and current events
- 6:41and whatnot. And so I do like one to two
- 6:45articles a month on my blog while I continued what would be
- 6:49the early years of my 11 year caregiving career.
- 6:53And so my days consisted mostly of being a caregiver and playing
- 6:59a lot of video games, especially like Halo 4, because this was
- 7:04what was the popular online multiplayer game back then.
- 7:07So I played a lot of that with my friends.
- 7:10My friends and I played a lot of NBA 2K13 on the Xbox 360.
- 7:15And aside from all the video games and aside from my fulltime
- 7:18job, I would find time here and there to put together one or two
- 7:23articles a month. And then maybe there was a month
- 7:25or two where I put out three or four articles.
- 7:27I don't remember exactly, but I was apologist on the side.
- 7:31It was not my highest priority. But then in January of 2015,
- 7:37after I had spent a little over a year being a Blogger, strictly
- 7:43a Blogger, and not really using social media at all, I decided,
- 7:47you know what? I got the technical abilities to
- 7:51create YouTube videos. Now I should start making video
- 7:54blogs where I talk about the stuff that I write about.
- 7:58And so from January of 2015, all the way up through I think the
- 8:04end of 2016 or early 2017, I decided to start making videos.
- 8:10And so I still would put out one or two written blog articles a
- 8:14month, but then I would also put out I think one or two videos a
- 8:19month, maybe two or three videos a month depend upon the month
- 8:22we're talking about. And let's just say that back in
- 8:252015, the videos I put out were of very low quality in terms of
- 8:31the technical side of things. It was basically me putting a
- 8:35camcorder on a tripod and pointing it at me and speaking,
- 8:39and I didn't have any microphones plugged into it so I
- 8:42was using the default mic I was built to the camcorder, which of
- 8:45course picks up every sound in the room and beyond.
- 8:48So obviously the audio quality of my videos back pen was pretty
- 8:52low and the visual quality was not the best, but the
- 8:56information I was putting out was pretty good at the time.
- 9:00I've changed on a couple of little things since then, but I
- 9:03was still putting out good material, some of which I still
- 9:07hold to today as far as what I taught in those videos or said
- 9:10in those videos. So this continued on for a
- 9:13while, and I was putting out content dealing with apologetics
- 9:18topics, primarily atheism versus younger of creationism.
- 9:23And then in 2016, I decided to start dealing with Old Earth
- 9:29Creationism in particular, because what happened was that I
- 9:33was an Old Earth Creationist all the way up until I saw the Bill
- 9:40Nye Ken Ham debate in the summer or not the summer.
- 9:43But like the earlier part of 2014 in the Creation Museum,
- 9:49where they had a CNN anchor as a moderator, I believe.
- 9:53And I watched that debate and I realized at the time, you know,
- 9:57I really should investigate younger of creationism more
- 10:01seriously. Prior to seeing this debate, I
- 10:04was an older of creationist, and my written blog posts were kind
- 10:09of written from that perspective, even though I
- 10:11didn't really deal with origins at all at the time.
- 10:14And at the time, I viewed Young Earth creationists as people who
- 10:19were misguided, that they didn't realize that it was possible to
- 10:24interpret the Bible in a way where billions of years fit in
- 10:29without contradicting what was written.
- 10:32But it was this Bill Nye Ken Hamm debate in 2014 that opened
- 10:36my eyes to the fact that, you know, I should actually study
- 10:40the Bible. Because prior to this, I haven't
- 10:42actually studied the Bible. I just, I took my old Earth
- 10:45creationist apologist's word for it in terms of the content I was
- 10:49consuming on the Internet. They made a bunch of arguments
- 10:52about why Young Earth Creationism wasn't or couldn't
- 10:54be true. And basically it just boiled
- 10:57down to that Young Earth creationists were just a bunch
- 11:00of dumb hillbillies who don't understand hermeneutics or
- 11:04language or writing styles or genres or anything of that
- 11:08nature. And so I kind of just took their
- 11:10word for it didn't really look at the Young Earth Creationism
- 11:12side of things. After seeing this bill, and I
- 11:15can't handle they, I decided to investigate the young Earth
- 11:18creation side of things. And I discovered multiple
- 11:22things. One, I discovered that Young
- 11:24Earth creationists actually did understand Herman Nudics and
- 11:28language and genres of writing and how and rules of
- 11:31interpretation. They understood the rules of all
- 11:35of those things in exactly the same way that Old Earth
- 11:39Creationists were teaching. The difference I found between
- 11:42the two is that the Young Earth creationists were far more
- 11:45consistent in applying those rules and holding to them than
- 11:49Old Earth Creationists are when it comes to the Bible.
- 11:53The other thing I discovered is that the Bible actually does
- 11:56teach a 6000 year old earth and universe when read in a
- 12:01straightforward and contextual manner, and you don't
- 12:03reinterpret it in light of anyone or anything else.
- 12:08The Answers in Genesis website provided a lot of the biblical
- 12:12arguments that I've been using for years, but I didn't just
- 12:16accept their word for it. I went to the passages that they
- 12:20quoted. I checked the context around the
- 12:23passage to make sure that they weren't taking the passage out
- 12:26of context and twisting and manipulating it into supporting
- 12:31their position. What I found is that when I
- 12:33examined the arguments from Scripture that they made and I
- 12:36realized that they were not taking scriptures out of context
- 12:41to make their points, I realized that, Oh my gosh, these guys
- 12:45have the biblical position on origins.
- 12:48And something you should know about me guys is that my entire
- 12:53life is a Bible believing Christian.
- 12:56I have always viewed the Bible as my ultimate authority.
- 13:01I've been swayed and I've been influenced by teachers of
- 13:05various kinds. But the Bible has always been my
- 13:09ultimate authority. If you could prove that the
- 13:12Bible teaches a particular teaching or theology, and it was
- 13:18clear from a study of that Bible that the context of the
- 13:22Scriptures they quoted to support their position actually
- 13:25supported their position. I've always been the kind of
- 13:28person who will adhere to that position if it can be biblically
- 13:32supported. So naturally I found Young Earth
- 13:35Creationism was biblically accurate.
- 13:39The Bible clearly. So clearly, as a matter of fact,
- 13:44the Bible teaching a 6000 year old earthen universe is taught
- 13:48just as clearly as the deity of Jesus.
- 13:52That's how clearly the Bible teaches A6000 year old earthen
- 13:56universe. And so because it was proven to
- 14:00me that it taught that, and my own study into what I was told
- 14:04bore that out, I switched from being an old Earth creationist
- 14:08to a Young Earth creationist, and I think October or early
- 14:13November of 2014. And so by the time I started
- 14:17making YouTube videos in 2015, I was a younger of creationist.
- 14:23Because of this, there's a lot of you people following me who
- 14:26think I've always been a Young Earth creationist, or that I was
- 14:29never an old Earth creationist. It was just bad timing on your
- 14:34part. As far as when you started
- 14:36following me, I actually was an old Earth creationist Prior to
- 14:41joining YouTube. It just worked out that I became
- 14:44a Young Earth Creationist a couple months before I started
- 14:46making YouTube videos. And if I had started making
- 14:50YouTube videos when I started blogging, I probably would have
- 14:53made a video or two espousing older of creationism beliefs and
- 14:58a belief in deep time, I probably would have.
- 15:02But anyway, I'm getting off track and into the weeds here.
- 15:05So from 2015 all the way up through late 2016, I'm putting
- 15:10out an article or two per month. I'm putting out a couple videos
- 15:13a month, and of course, because I was doing that, I was hardly
- 15:17growing it all on YouTube and hardly getting any views.
- 15:20And it was like RAH. I mean, I'm not in it for the
- 15:23views, but it'd be nice if some people saw my stuff.
- 15:26And so then I realized, you know, I need to take this video
- 15:29thing a lot more seriously. And so I started putting out
- 15:34from December of 2016, all the way through the next couple of
- 15:39years. I started putting out like 10
- 15:41videos a month. And so that meant up putting out
- 15:43two or three videos a week instead of two to three videos a
- 15:46month. And I started working on
- 15:49improving the quality of my videos, and I started to talk
- 15:53about other topics and apologetics in more detail.
- 15:57And I started responding to other apologists, like older
- 16:02creationist apologists and evolutionists and atheists on
- 16:05the Internet. And what I found over time when
- 16:09I started doing that from let's see how many Subs that I have.
- 16:14I think I hit the 11 subscriber mark in like late May, early
- 16:20June of 2016 on my YouTube channel.
- 16:25And I think I've had like 1620 subscribers.
- 16:29By December of 2016, maybe I had 25, I don't know.
- 16:34But what I found at that point is that when I started putting
- 16:38out a lot more videos and I started sharing those videos
- 16:42across various Facebook groups because I was a Facebook user at
- 16:45the time. What I found is that my videos
- 16:47went from getting almost no views to getting, you know, at
- 16:50least several dozen if not a couple 100 plus views.
- 16:54And my subscriber count from the summer of 2016 through the
- 17:00summer of 2018, like July 2018. I went from like 25 subscribers
- 17:06all the way up to 500 and let's say 535 subscribers at the time.
- 17:12Although it may have been a couple Subs less, but I was well
- 17:15over 500 Subs by the time I reached the summer of 2018.
- 17:19So my YouTube channel was growing, albeit slowly, and I
- 17:23was getting views on videos and things were going OK as far as
- 17:29YouTube went. But then in 2017 YouTube and
- 17:33other big tech platforms like Twitter and Facebook and
- 17:36Instagram etcetera started censoring people who had wrong
- 17:40think in any way. Mostly of politics though, but
- 17:44also overlaps with religious views.
- 17:48And I realized great, just as I'm starting to grow on YouTube,
- 17:52YouTube starting to censor people if wrong thing and it's
- 17:54usually conservatives and Christians and Trump supporters.
- 17:58And so at the time I realized, you know, I need to look into
- 18:01some YouTube alternatives just in case my channel gets taken
- 18:05down. And so I started, you know using
- 18:07a Google search on the Internet to see what kind of YouTube
- 18:10alternatives exist out there. And during my searching I came
- 18:15across 2 YouTube alternatives in the alt tech world.
- 18:18One was called Pewtube which would later shut down and reopen
- 18:23his new tube and the other was Bitch Shoot which was a brand
- 18:27new site at the time. I discovered Bitch Shoots
- 18:30existence in the fall of 2017, but they went online I think
- 18:34January 5th 2017. So they weren't even a year old
- 18:39when I found Bitch Shoot and not that many people were using it.
- 18:42Although by the time I joined Bitch Shoot, some of the bigger
- 18:46creators in the news and politics space had joined the
- 18:49site and we're starting to back up their videos there like
- 18:51Sticks, Computing Forever, Mark, Dice, etcetera.
- 18:55But the funny part is I didn't actually start using Bit Shoot
- 18:58right away. I actually started using a site
- 19:01called Vid Me that existed at the time, which was a great
- 19:04YouTube alternative when I first came across.
- 19:07It had a decent user interface and you I think you could upload
- 19:12HD videos, although it was only like 720P I think at the time.
- 19:16And there was a thriving active community on there and I was
- 19:20enjoying myself on Vidney and I thought, wow, this place has the
- 19:23potential to take off. Then of course they ended up
- 19:26shutting down their site by the end of that year.
- 19:29And so after I previously passed on bit shoot and new tube in
- 19:33favor of vid me, I decided, you know what, I'm going to join
- 19:37both of those sites and I'm going to start backing up my
- 19:39videos there. And so I did that and my Bit
- 19:42Shoot channel went online in December of 2017 as well as my
- 19:48Pew tube channel. And I got on gab shortly after
- 19:52that like a day or two later. And I also got on mines, I think
- 19:56like a month or two prior, which is another alt tech social media
- 20:00site. And so then my ministry, my TTR
- 20:04ministry at that time was primarily focused on doing
- 20:07videos. And I was also spreading myself
- 20:12out among big tech and all tech sites.
- 20:14Of course, YouTube censorship continued to increase.
- 20:17So in the summer of 2018, I decided to leave YouTube.
- 20:24I believe it was like mid or late July I decided to leave
- 20:28YouTube because I was tired of the censorship that was going on
- 20:31at the time, which has only gotten worse since.
- 20:35And I was tired of how YouTube was deliberately catering to
- 20:40legacy media corporations when it came to helping people to
- 20:44learn how to do better on YouTube.
- 20:46And they were deliberately giving the middle finger to
- 20:49Youtubers like content creators who got their start on YouTube
- 20:53and not on TVI didn't like that at all.
- 20:56So at that point I decided to leave YouTube in the summer July
- 20:59of 2018 and I decided to be an alt tech exclusive guy as far as
- 21:03videos went. So over the next few years I was
- 21:08on Bitch Shoot. I was on Pew tube until it shut
- 21:11down for a while and then I ended up getting on just about
- 21:15every video site you could think of.
- 21:17I know I was on Bridey Yawn at one point and I was on I'm on
- 21:23huge tube and I'm on I got onto new tube after it reopened and
- 21:30rebranded from being Pew tube and I also got on to Odyssey at
- 21:35some point and I eventually got on to Rumble and then when I
- 21:39found out about Joshua TV I got on that.
- 21:42And funny story about that when I decided to go be an alt tech
- 21:47exclusive guy from 2018 through 2022 I I met some really good
- 21:54friends of mine. I actually met Brett keen on
- 21:57bitch. She would of all places
- 21:59basically watch some of his bitch shoot videos that he was
- 22:03doing at the time and found him to be entertaining and
- 22:06informational. And you know he Rick Keens an
- 22:09awesome guy. If you watch his content that he
- 22:12makes for offline purposes and then up manually uploads to his
- 22:16channels. His videos that he does that way
- 22:19are fantastic most of the time I should say.
- 22:24I would say all the time, but who knows, maybe he put out some
- 22:27duds before I started following him.
- 22:29I don't know, but Brett Keens always put out banging content
- 22:32the whole time I've been following him.
- 22:34So naturally I was subbed to his channel and started following
- 22:37him. And then I reached out to him
- 22:39via e-mail because at the time I was watching him, he was making
- 22:43videos going after some of the same atheist Youtubers I was
- 22:47dealing with. Guys like Shannon, Hugh and
- 22:50Paula, Gia and Steve Mccree and Raging Atheist and a whole bunch
- 22:56of other people. So we had overlap as far as the
- 22:59people you were responding to. And of course up until this
- 23:02point I had made a name for myself on YouTube by going after
- 23:06atheist content creators likes Professor Stick and Vice Rhino
- 23:10and Paula Gia and the like. So naturally, Brett Keen and I
- 23:14had some common enemies, so to speak, and I reached out to him
- 23:18and eventually we started talking and then we started
- 23:20collaborating. And Brett in the years since has
- 23:23been a good friend to me, as far as me, as far as an Internet
- 23:27friend can, because he lives in Missouri, I live in Oregon.
- 23:31So it's not like I can just go to his house or you know, meet
- 23:35up with him in the community and have dinner or something.
- 23:38Brett, as far as an Internet friend can be, has been a great
- 23:41friend and he has been very helpful in the development of my
- 23:46TTOR videos. Technical side A lot of the
- 23:49improvements that have been made to my channel as far as the
- 23:53technical quality of my videos has been in large part to Brett
- 23:56Keen showing me how to use various softwares.
- 23:59He's been instrumental and invaluable in that regard.
- 24:04And then, of course, I met Seeking the Truth the same way I
- 24:06met him on Bitch Shoot, primarily because of his video
- 24:10about his Joshu search engine. And we started talking after
- 24:15some time. And eventually I started using
- 24:17Joshu TV, his own video site, as one of the places I put my
- 24:23videos on. And so for several years I was
- 24:27growing on Bitch Shoot, because Bitch Shoot really started
- 24:30taking off in 2019 through early 2021.
- 24:35It went from being a teeny tiny site to a site that had 10s of
- 24:38million or at least 10 million registered users on the site.
- 24:43And they had a 10s of millions of site visitors every month in
- 24:48terms of web traffic and they were just growing and over time
- 24:52a lot of the news and politics content creators got on Bit
- 24:55Shoot and people who decided to make Bit Shoot their primary
- 24:59site started growing too. I actually grew to the point
- 25:03where at one point in 2021 I was in the top 5% of creators on Bit
- 25:10Shoot in terms of subscribers to my channel and total video
- 25:14views. If you go to my Bitch Shoot
- 25:16channel today and you take my total video views and divide it
- 25:19by the total number of videos I've uploaded to Bitch Shoot,
- 25:23you'll see that I get hundreds and hundreds of views on my
- 25:27Bitch Shoot videos on average. I became a big channel on Bitch
- 25:32Shoot because I kept committing to it and promoting that Channel
- 25:36and sharing the links out to those videos and before they
- 25:39reared their ugly heads. The CEO's of Bitch Shoot and Gab
- 25:43used to promote my videos on the regular on Gab.
- 25:47So that helped my channel grow a lot, got a lot of views on my
- 25:50videos and brought Subs to my channel.
- 25:53And so my Bitch Shoot channel from the summer of 2018 to I
- 26:01believe early in the spring of 2021, I saw my channel go from
- 26:08having like 75 subscribers to getting over 2000 Subs.
- 26:15Like this was an astronomical period of growth for me on Bitch
- 26:19Shoot. And that's because the site
- 26:22itself was growing. As long as the site itself was
- 26:25growing and people were getting more popular and new people were
- 26:28coming to Bitch Shoot every day, I had a chance to be seen by a
- 26:32whole bunch of new people as I put out videos on a regular
- 26:36basis. I mean, during this year of 2019
- 26:39and parts of 2020, I actually started putting out even more
- 26:42videos than I was as a YouTuber. So I was putting out like 15
- 26:46videos a month. I think at one point I was just
- 26:50a machine when it came to putting out videos, and then I
- 26:53was working as a caregiver all these years, too.
- 26:56But things started changing in the early part of 2021 when Bit
- 27:04Shoot started censoring people at the behest of a group in the
- 27:09UK, Community Security Trust, which is a group of people that
- 27:15are of a particular nation that some people don't like us to
- 27:20talk about. Even though I don't see the
- 27:23problem in the late part of 2020 when this whole moral panic we
- 27:28were going through at the time over the couf start
- 27:30intensifying, That's when I noticed censorship starting to
- 27:35occur on the alt tech platforms that had been growing over the
- 27:37previous few years. It was in 2020 though where
- 27:40things started to change for the worst for alt tech, especially
- 27:44for bit shooting Gab in terms of censorship and CEO's just going
- 27:49off the deep end. So in late 2020, I think it was
- 27:53late September of 2020. My friend Brett Keen, who was on
- 27:57Gab at the time, actually got banned from Gab after he
- 28:02questioned why an article about a three-way gangbang was
- 28:06trending on Gab's dissenter trends even though it wasn't
- 28:11naturally trending. And people were asking why it
- 28:14was even there in the 1st place because it had like no
- 28:17engagement at all on the center. And so he gets banned from Gab
- 28:21as soon as he questions that. And then bit shoot started
- 28:25censoring people in late 2020, early 2021 as far as censoring
- 28:30the search results of their search engines and censoring
- 28:33comments and censoring users by Geo blocking them in certain
- 28:38countries or outright banning them.
- 28:40And things change for the worse. And I started exposing the Bit
- 28:44Shoot and Gab censorship on a regular basis throughout 2021
- 28:48and parts of 2022. And over time, these growing alt
- 28:54tech sites like Gab and Bit Shoot started to shrink.
- 28:59And it wasn't noticeable at first.
- 29:01But over time, in the case of Bit Shoot in particular, they
- 29:06started losing all of the monthly fan donations they had
- 29:10coming in, and they started losing the web traffic.
- 29:13So in early 2021, Bit Shoot had $55,000 in fan donations coming
- 29:20in every month. That's how much people were set
- 29:23up to pay them every month, and monthly fan donations.
- 29:27But then they started losing fan donations after me and Seeking
- 29:30the Truth started exposing their censorship.
- 29:33And Bit Shoot also at the time had reached like 55,000,000 site
- 29:38visitors in the month of I think March 2021.
- 29:42So from March of 2021 Bit Shoot went from having 55,000,000 site
- 29:48visitors to now they have barely over 16,000,000 site visitors.
- 29:53They have literally killed their web traffic via censorship and
- 29:57not giving people the features they had been promising for
- 30:00years and still haven't to this day.
- 30:03Like HD video uploads, live streaming, easy to use comment
- 30:08moderation system and public playlists and stuff like that.
- 30:12Although I think they have improved the comment system
- 30:15since then. As far as your ability to
- 30:18moderate it, that's what started happening to bit Shoot.
- 30:21And now Bit Shoot is a site that although they are not dead, they
- 30:24are definitely dying off. If they keep going the way they
- 30:28are eventually and no one's going to be using them and
- 30:31they're just going to die just the way it is.
- 30:34We have the same thing with Gab. Gab, I'm not sure if they've
- 30:37been losing donations or not. It seems like they're always
- 30:40reaching their monthly fundraising goals.
- 30:42But in 2021, Gab had 50 million site visitors to their website,
- 30:48particularly because a lot of people went there after Donald
- 30:50Trump got banned from everything.
- 30:53So Gab had a lot of visitors that month, and over time, Gab
- 30:57has started losing web traffic to the point where in June of
- 31:02this year they were down to like 8 and a half million site
- 31:06visitors that month. They've just been steadily
- 31:09losing and losing and losing web traffic every month.
- 31:12And that's because Andrew Torba has come out as a crazy wing
- 31:16nut, a heretic and a cult leader.
- 31:19As a matter of fact, he teaches a different gospel and a
- 31:22different Jesus than the Jesus and gospel of the Bible.
- 31:25So I'm comfortable in saying that he's not a saved Christian.
- 31:29Even though he professes Christ and claims to be a Christian, he
- 31:33is not orthodox and he is not going to heaven if he dies as he
- 31:37is today. He is not going to spend
- 31:39eternity with God the Father when he continues to preach a
- 31:43different Jesus than the real Jesus and a different gospel
- 31:47than the actual gospel. Which according to the Apostle
- 31:50Paul, anyone who does those two things is under God's curse.
- 31:55And so Andrew Torba is currently under God's curse according to
- 32:00the Apostle Paul, and that's why his website Gab is dying Now.
- 32:05They're not as dead as some of the other social media sites in
- 32:08the alt tech world. They get more traffic than
- 32:11Getter. They get more traffic than
- 32:13Brighty on Social and Bastion and the slew of other alt tech
- 32:17social media sites that exist. But they are losing ground to
- 32:22True Social. True Social side significant
- 32:26upkeep in traffic over the last couple of months to the point
- 32:29where they're right at Gabs level in terms of web traffic.
- 32:32True Social at 8.2 million site visits in June and Gab at 8.6
- 32:38million. So if that trend continues, True
- 32:41Social will eventually pass. Gab is the top social media site
- 32:45in the alt tech world in terms of web traffic.
- 32:48So because the alt tech site started slowly dying off, when
- 32:51Brett Keen invited me to come back to YouTube in 2022, I think
- 32:56it was March of 2022, I decided, hey, why not, I'll do it for
- 33:01fun, for giggles. I don't care if I grow or not
- 33:04because I'm on all these other video sharing sites, sharing my
- 33:07videos, getting decent views, you know, having decent
- 33:10subscriber counts, considering how small some of the sites are.
- 33:14And so the way I figured was I'm better at making videos now than
- 33:19I was back in my early years of YouTube.
- 33:21So I could put out better quality videos and just see how
- 33:25they do. You know, if I grow like I did
- 33:28before or better grade, and if I don't grow at all, who cares?
- 33:31It's just for fun, not hinging my livelihood as a content
- 33:35creator on YouTube. And so yeah, I came back to
- 33:38YouTube and I've been here ever since, but I'm still on all the
- 33:41other alternatives, as you can see in the banner down below.
- 33:45But because of the alt tech censorship that started to
- 33:48occur, I decided to get in on the alt tech game myself.
- 33:52In December of 2021, I launched Creation Social, which is an
- 33:58open source alt tech alternative to Gab and Facebook, and I
- 34:01specifically made it in response to Gab censorship starting up
- 34:05back then. It's still up today, I still use
- 34:08it, and you're more than welcome to use it today.
- 34:11The URL is creation dot social easy to find.
- 34:15I also decided in late May of last year to launch my own open
- 34:20source alt tech alternative to YouTube called Quarter Quarter.
- 34:24Much like Joshua TV, because it uses the same a video script has
- 34:29a lot of the features and functionality you would expect
- 34:31to see on YouTube, like HD video uploads including four K
- 34:34capacity, live streaming, free restreaming, easy to use comment
- 34:38moderation system, public playlist, etcetera.
- 34:42But also has features YouTube doesn't have like free
- 34:46restreaming. It also has quarter bucks, which
- 34:48is an insight currency you can earn by getting views on your
- 34:51uploads and in turn you can use your quarter bucks to promote
- 34:54your individual videos or your entire channel on the front page
- 34:58of quarter. There's also video chat rooms,
- 35:00which are much like the old Google Hangout rooms that
- 35:02YouTube used to have, where you can do video calling if your
- 35:06friends, family, followers, coworkers, etcetera.
- 35:08And you can also live stream those rooms to your channel.
- 35:12And I've been running Quarter ever since.
- 35:14Quarter is still online today. Even though there's some
- 35:16maintenance on it I still need to do.
- 35:18As far as upgrading, it goes same with creation social.
- 35:22But as you can see, I've come a long way from where I used to
- 35:26be. I'm not just a mere content
- 35:28creator anymore. I'm also somebody who produces
- 35:33social media sites. I have my own Facebook
- 35:36alternative that has over 800 registered users at this point,
- 35:41and I have my own YouTube alternative which has over 100
- 35:45registered users at this point. And hopefully I'll be able to
- 35:50grow it more in the future as censorship continues to get
- 35:53worse. So because I was spending so
- 35:57much time outside of work making content, I ended up being a
- 36:01caregiver for almost 11 years from I believe August or
- 36:06September of 2012, all the way through May of this year, I was
- 36:11a caregiver working a fulltime date job outside of content
- 36:15creation. But then a couple of months ago
- 36:18my church gave me a position as a TV producer, slash media
- 36:22producer, and all the skills that I developed being a content
- 36:26creator over these last eight years and change have paid off
- 36:30handsomely as far as my ability to be a solid, effective TV
- 36:34media producer for an organization like a church.
- 36:38And I'd say things are going really good right now.
- 36:41I enjoy being a media producer during the day and then when I
- 36:46have time outside of that, making content for TTOR and
- 36:50making content for my gaming channels that I have.
- 36:53It has been a wild, crazy ride being a content creator and
- 36:58self-taught Internet apologist. But I've had a lot of fun doing
- 37:01it. There's been a lot of highs,
- 37:03there's been some lows, but I've gotten through them and now
- 37:07we're in a pretty good place. Even though my growth on the
- 37:10Internet is stagnant, I still have fun putting out content.
- 37:14I still feel like God wants me to, and I'm able to help my
- 37:18church by being a media producer for him.
- 37:21And I have no problems doing the kind of work they want me to do,
- 37:26because my years as a content creator have honed my skills and
- 37:31I'm able to do things at a high level now.
- 37:34And if I had not been a content creator for all these years like
- 37:37God told me to, if God hadn't led me to become a content
- 37:41creator and produce videos for all these years and continually
- 37:46pushing myself to make better and higher quality videos, I
- 37:50probably never would have gotten this opportunity to be a TV
- 37:54producer slash media producer for a living.
- 37:58But that's how God works. He allowed me to go through the
- 38:01things I did, and he called me to do the things I did for so
- 38:05many years because he was preparing me to be in the place
- 38:08that I am now. I would not trade anything that
- 38:11I have going on now as far as my JOB goes and as far as being a
- 38:15content creator goes, and as far as my loved ones goes.
- 38:19I would not trade any of that for anything in the world.
- 38:23I like where I'm at now, and if God wants me to be somewhere
- 38:27else in the future, that's better.
- 38:29Or necessary, Then I will. But that is the history so far
- 38:34of TTOR. That is my back story as far as
- 38:38how I became a content creator and how I got to where I am
- 38:42today. Now the part of the video that
- 38:45we haven't talked much about is why everyone hates me.
- 38:49Why specifically older creationists and atheistic
- 38:53evolutionists, and even younger creationists don't like me.
- 38:59It's not just because I'm a Young Earth creationist who
- 39:03firmly believes and can prove that the Bible teaches A6000
- 39:07year old earth and universe when it's read in a straightforward
- 39:10manner and you don't reinterpret it in light of anything else.
- 39:13The reason why even Young Earth Creationists don't like me is
- 39:17because the Bible does teach a young earth, and therefore a
- 39:21young earth is a salvation issue.
- 39:25Why? Because anything the Bible
- 39:29clearly teaches is a salvation issue.
- 39:32If you reject something that the Bible clearly teaches, then you
- 39:36are denying biblical authority. And biblical authority.
- 39:39According to just about every Christian out there is a
- 39:43salvation issue. So therefore, by logical
- 39:47extension, since the Bible clearly teaches a young earth
- 39:50A6000 year old earth and universe to be exact, that is a
- 39:54salvation issue because of the fact that the Bible clearly
- 39:58teaches it. Of course, this would apply to
- 40:01anything else the Bible clearly teaches, such as Jesus's deity,
- 40:05Jesus's virgin birth, the miracles Jesus performed, all of
- 40:09the historical accounts of the Old Testament as well as the
- 40:13new, all the things that happened with Jesus and his
- 40:16disciples and the gospels and everything that happened with
- 40:20the rest of the New Testament, etcetera.
- 40:23Anything that the Bible clearly teaches is a salvation issue,
- 40:27and a 6000 year old earth and universe is just one of many,
- 40:33many, many, many things that the Bible clearly teaches and that
- 40:36are there for salvation issues. But because people have been
- 40:40socially engineered to think that Young Earth creationism is
- 40:44not a salvation issue, they get upset with me for pointing this
- 40:48out. But they can never prove it on
- 40:51logical, reasonable grounds. They never can.
- 40:55It's a purely emotional reaction they have as a result of them
- 41:00being socially engineered by the world into thinking that it's
- 41:05not a salvation issue as far as the Bible goes, when in fact it
- 41:09is a salvation issue along with many, many other salvation
- 41:13issues in the Bible. Now that's why the Young Earth
- 41:16creationists don't like me. Old Earth Creationists don't
- 41:19like me because I used to be one of them and I know what their
- 41:23biblical arguments are and I can disprove all of them.
- 41:27So anytime an Old Earth Creationist wants to argue with
- 41:32me in regards to the Bible, and they want to try and prove Old
- 41:36Earth Creationism is true, or that Young Earth Creationism is
- 41:39false based on the Bible, I am always able to disprove their
- 41:45arguments, most of the time rather easily.
- 41:49And as far as why the atheists and the evolutionists don't like
- 41:53me, well, that one's pretty easy to figure out too.
- 41:56It's not just that I'm a Young Nerf creationist who dissents
- 42:01from their worldview. It's the fact that I make videos
- 42:05responding to their content, and then when they make a video
- 42:08response to me, I respond back. And you see most people in this
- 42:14world, but especially atheists and evolutionists.
- 42:17They have not been taught to think.
- 42:19Most atheists and evolutionists are a bunch of sheeple who just
- 42:23blindly believe whatever the establishment tells them.
- 42:26They just blindly believe whatever the majority opinion of
- 42:30the scientific and academic community is regarding origins
- 42:34and reality. And so when they deal with a
- 42:37Young Earth Creationist who doesn't just make content
- 42:39responding to them, but the Young Earth Creationists in
- 42:43particular, me responds back to their response to my first
- 42:48video. Oh, they cannot handle that at
- 42:52all, because they have not been taught to counter argue.
- 42:56They have not been taught how to think critically and
- 42:59independently and for themselves.
- 43:01They are a bunch of followers. A bunch of blind, gullible
- 43:05followers following the blind. And so there you have it.
- 43:09That is why older creationists and atheistic evolutionists, and
- 43:14why even young Earth creationists don't like me.
- 43:18And now you know the history of TTOR as far as my content
- 43:24creator journey goes. It's not a complete history of
- 43:29my content creator career or even like my personal life, but
- 43:33it's a big enough history that you know pretty much everything
- 43:36there is to know about my content creator career.
- 43:40Especially if you've only been following me on YouTube over the
- 43:43past year and four months and you're unaware of any of my
- 43:47content creator history prior to that or what my content creator
- 43:52history was in the four years that I was gone from YouTube.
- 43:56Well, now you know all of that and hopefully you enjoyed
- 43:59watching this video and hopefully you will subscribe to
- 44:03my channel. Check out my other videos.
