- 0:02What's up y'all? Welcome Twitter, Can I say podcast? I'm on your
- 0:06whole song with Ponus episode What Rider one forty six. All right, let's
- 0:12introduce the first lady of the pod, the only lady of the pod.
- 0:16Key key, She is fluffy and fine. I messed up your thing.
- 0:19I'm sorry. It's okay. I'm not I'm not feeling well. It's okay.
- 0:23I'm just happy that we made it here too. Yeah, thank thank
- 0:27you. Zachkik. Why do you look like you're about to singer neo song?
- 0:33Well? I have on my little church outfit today because I went to
- 0:37support the kids. Shout out to the United Voices of Chicago. I went
- 0:41to a like symphony orchestra. Ko even it's given. I can sing,
- 0:46and I got a solo. There you got. I might drop on neo
- 0:50soul album. You never know. I don't know, you know, look
- 0:53like like some type of sandal wood. I don't know, but I take
- 1:00that all right. Here's the funny man at the pot, my little bro
- 1:06man. What's that exact book? I don't like your intro today? Come
- 1:11give me there you go? How y'all doing today? Y' all? All
- 1:19right, I've had better day other than Kiki going to church. Yeah,
- 1:23I've had that bonus under the weather. This pod is gonna be interesting,
- 1:27it is it? I can already tell Yeah. I mean that went to
- 1:32All Stars, so I was out a lot. I wasn't because I was
- 1:34just scrolling down Instagram. I see you with a basketball like you're posing as
- 1:40if you play like I did. First time in four years I played.
- 1:46Hi, you can't tell him that I was walking around. I was bouncing
- 1:49around. What y'all want, y'all would have walked somewhere else. Let's go
- 1:55a year before that when it was in Salt Lake City and we was doing
- 1:57all that walking. Yeah, I was so mad, so mad, because
- 2:02that ain't nothing worse to try to act like you not hurt when you hurt
- 2:07or I was hurt, but yeah, so what you just pushed through it?
- 2:10Would you be like, y'all, we should get it, we should
- 2:12get an uber like definitely, okay, definitely. I caught Tone one time
- 2:16at a festival, right it might have been like the Silver Silver Room Block.
- 2:22Oh that was that one or something we were I saw him at the
- 2:24Silver Room Block party. He had posted up, but it was like a
- 2:29post, and I thought he was just like posting. I wonder why he
- 2:31was staying right there. He was like, yeah, that hip ain't gonna
- 2:35go all the way in there. Oh he didn't want to lock up,
- 2:38he just posted up. He just took a break. That was when I
- 2:39realized I really needed it, needed a civil room black or party. I
- 2:45was like, yeah, time, yes, it's time, it's time.
- 2:47So no, this shout out to modern medicine, shout out to my doctor,
- 2:52doctor de la Valley and everybody that was They got me right. But
- 2:54it was a good title, and he did it good. They just were
- 2:58missing, like I said, like they was. I was setting it on
- 2:59a post I did on Instagram. They were missing a little bit longer party
- 3:04hours. You should have extended it. They needed some athes that went a
- 3:07little longer. Uh maybe more valet, but you know that was it.
- 3:12How long How long did the parties? They three? How long you want
- 3:16to be in there? No, all start parties going to six in the
- 3:21morning. Now that's not now, nobody need to part twelve to two twelve.
- 3:24Then they had like these afthes that's real cool, Like like six you
- 3:29don't go out to like eleven or twelve. Ain't that much partying in the
- 3:32world. You do not need to be nowhere from three from ten pm to
- 3:36six am, y'all thinking when y'all leave that if you go outside at ten
- 3:39that ten pm, that's nothing. Well, what time you get in to
- 3:43the party? Party by twelve thirty and then you leave it at six in
- 3:46the morning. You get that twelve thirty that you talk and you maing left
- 3:52for about an hour. Then you have a little drake and everybody look,
- 3:54you look up, it's two thirty. Now you got to keep it going
- 3:58because the party if it closed it three, it's over at two thirty.
- 4:00Then you move on to the athletes to get there at three or two forty
- 4:04five, and you stayed at it. You don't stay to six. You
- 4:06stayed up about do that about about an hour and a half. Nothing good
- 4:11happens at an after party. I'm gonna tell you that right now. I
- 4:14have never had a successful after after party is where hood people go, and
- 4:20that's what hood people. Oh yeah, definitely the heavy dress after parties,
- 4:25the afters. Cool people go to the app I must not be cool.
- 4:28I've been to an after I've been to one, but I don't need to
- 4:30be know what to six in the morning. You've been to one, been
- 4:33at after parties before, yeah, absolutely, like late late ones, yes,
- 4:38not till six in the morning. I've never for several dollars, don't
- 4:41think it's maybe because the way you dress right now after church, that's what
- 4:46you mean. O'clock clock after that really is very much shut in. What
- 4:54you had to do. Yeah, you remember that at church, not that
- 4:59church. I did them at school. I know you a p K.
- 5:00So you at church? Yeah, yeah, I never did that at church.
- 5:03That's what I don't need to spend the night at nobody's church. At
- 5:08a church and school lock in, that's a lot. You gotta be a
- 5:13different type of dedicated to serving the youth to sign up to be a uh
- 5:17supervisor on a locking Yeah, ain't no way, my girl. I ain't
- 5:20locking in with none of love the Lord. But all right, well we're
- 5:28talking about today, y'all. Well I'm sad I got a heavy heart today.
- 5:31Talk about it? Why? Because Wendy Williams is very sick. She's
- 5:36very ill. She's it's not funny, Zach, It's really not funny.
- 5:43He's playing the Valoulin. But it's not funny giving her the right background.
- 5:49God, I don't need your music, Okay, I need you to pray
- 5:53for Wendy. She's going through They're saying that she was diagnosed with dementia.
- 5:59And as a documentary coming out this weekend, there's a video with her and
- 6:02Black China and Wendy. I'm black trying to interview a Wendy will She's not
- 6:06interviewing her. She went to go visit her. She went to go visit
- 6:11her because I was about, like they letting anybody into this thing. No,
- 6:15no, no, that's their real friends in real life. Really,
- 6:18yeah, And she went to visit her and check on her, and she
- 6:20tried to have a regular conversation with Wendy, and Wendy couldn't even like comprehend
- 6:25that they were speaking. It's that bad. And I know you have feelings
- 6:29about Wendy Williams, but I mean I don't have I mean, because I
- 6:32get it, it's still when you know, at that time, I was
- 6:35Dayton Phaedra and it was a obviously she's the more famous person. So she
- 6:43was just like she just tried to try to play me a little bit when
- 6:46she said I didn't like it. I like it, But I mean I
- 6:47wish her. I wish anybody to be like this, right, like to
- 6:50go for what she was so like this, you know what I mean?
- 6:55Like I maybe if she had like a cold s I laugh at it,
- 6:58but not this, right, I wouldn't ever do that. Yeah, it's
- 7:00pretty devastating. What do you think think this is karma? Is a lot
- 7:08of people on the internet, I said, and you've seen the key key
- 7:11that's saying this is karma. Well you said it before the podcast started.
- 7:15But I like how you switch and trying to put the question on. I
- 7:17like how you switched it up once we got here. Well, I have
- 7:21to be honest. I am in my church outfit today. I want to
- 7:29right here. Is it karma? She has done horrible things to people in
- 7:33the sense of trying to ruin their public image? Is it karma? Anybody
- 7:41of them? People came in her first? Can anybody ruin your public image
- 7:46with things that are not true? Yes, But if it's not true,
- 7:50it's not true, that's not your image. Well, you know somebody can
- 7:53just any accusation can ruin your public image, whether it's true or not.
- 7:57That's true. But you think she deserves to. This is her common She
- 8:01deserves one thing about it. My grammy, my granny, go had to
- 8:05mention one thing about it. I know my grain didn't deserve it, my
- 8:09grandma, right, So not me, me, me, me did not
- 8:13deserve it. So if she got the same thing that Mimi had, it
- 8:16don't come with deserving it. Okay, But do you believe this what good
- 8:20things come to good people? Yes? I do. Do you believe when
- 8:24you put certain type of energy out in the world it comes back to you?
- 8:28I do believe that. Well, I'm done talking. That doesn't mean
- 8:31that she deserves He's so spicy. I can never fix my mouth to say
- 8:37that somebody deserves them. And I'm not defending what Wendy did in her career,
- 8:43but I am going to acknowledge the fact that she's in icon in the
- 8:46media industry and men and women like to it, would like to be like
- 8:50her and following her footsteps. Nobody wants to ever give her the credit for
- 8:54what she did, but a lot of people, all of us, try
- 8:58to mimic the person that she was on the air. So let's let's give
- 9:01her that. At least I give it to her, said she deserved to
- 9:05say she deserved. I just say when you do good, goods comes back
- 9:11to you. When you're do bad, bad comes back to you. I'm
- 9:16not saying this is her bad. I'm just saying, we know you watched
- 9:20it. You've seen it. Yes, you see her do and say certain
- 9:24things that you were like, oh boy, that's tough. Yes, that's
- 9:28tough. So what I'm saying is this, I mean, look, I
- 9:33know people have done bad things, and I'm not surprised when bad things happen
- 9:37to him. You're not surprised when when they like the dude that may did
- 9:41some wild stuff growing up, or was getting over on people or doing people
- 9:45wrong for no reason, or doing stuff or and something bad happens to that
- 9:48person. I'm like, I'm like, I'm not surprised. Do I wish
- 9:52it on them? No? Yeah, I think I'm not surprised. But
- 9:54I'm a little sympathetic in that regard. And I feel like a lot of
- 9:58like I'm in different I know, because I really wasn't around truly, for
- 10:03she wasn't my era, but she was like an icon. You know,
- 10:05I've done my homework or whatever. But what I'm saying is I don't think
- 10:09it's fair to say you deserve this because you did X, Y and Z.
- 10:13We've all done things that we're not proud of in our careers and in
- 10:16our past. It doesn't mean you deserve something. But I do think what
- 10:18everybody should do is look at Wendy Williams's life as a lesson. Okay,
- 10:24to look at it and say, you know what I'm saying, Things will
- 10:26come at you real fast. If you don't protect yourself, things will come
- 10:30at you real fast. If you don't make friends in the industry, and
- 10:33if you move a certain way, think people will not be sympathetic to your
- 10:35situation. So I just feel like it's very sad to see. And now
- 10:39I mean I'm heartbroken about it. I do feel like it's sad. Do
- 10:43I want to see Wendy Williams again? Be like this? Nah, that
- 10:46ain't cool. Yeah, that ain't cool. But when on the flip side,
- 10:50I am able to look at the other side of it and say,
- 10:54when somebody says, hey, you know this person has done a lot of
- 10:58things, She's done good too. She's done a lot of good for people
- 11:01too, Are you surprised when when when when with certain energy comes back.
- 11:07No, I mean I'm indifferent about it. I just look at it like
- 11:11this, two things can be true. You can look at her from nobody
- 11:15is just one one way, okay, Like he loves Wendy because of who
- 11:22she is as a journalist, as a woman in media, than what she's
- 11:26accomplished in the field that she is in. And that's what the eyes that
- 11:28you're looking at Tona is like, Hey, you have said some nasty things
- 11:33about people, and you've built this career off of negativity. So being negative
- 11:39something negative happening to you, I'm not empathetic necessarily empathetic to it. I
- 11:45think that's I think both of y'all have a point. You know what I'm
- 11:48saying, Just because you just because you sick, don't mean I have to
- 11:52feel sorry for you. Absolutely I feel sorry for it. It's not unncessarily
- 11:58talking about you. I'm just saying the idea, like how people can in
- 12:03general. You know what I'm saying, just because somebody has done something that's
- 12:05happened to somebody, we've take it off, Wendy Williams. If somebody has
- 12:09like a parent who mistreated them or something, and then that parent ends up
- 12:13in the nursing home or something, and then that child doesn't visit said parent.
- 12:18You know what I'm saying that you can't tell that child not to feel
- 12:20that way, you know what I'm saying. But I'm pretty sure it's somebody
- 12:24who loves that parent who's like, damn, I wish that didn't happen to
- 12:26them. Yeah, it's both ways, it really, it really is both
- 12:31ways. But I do hope throughout the rest of her life, which if
- 12:35y'all seen the clip, it looked like it's any day now. I just
- 12:41wish. I hope people in media can put their I don't know opinions aside
- 12:48and just give her her flowers for what she accomplished in the door she kicked
- 12:50down because a lot of us and whether people want to admit it or not,
- 12:56would love to follow in Wendy Williams footsteps and would love to have the
- 13:00balls to do half the things she did. Fair fair enough, it's fair
- 13:03enough. Uh So leading into that the Corey Holgm thing, Zach, and
- 13:11it's the same in a sense where you got Corey who's been Wow. I
- 13:16don't know if these clips have been out for a while, he just starts
- 13:18seeing them, But Corey been letting everybody have it in a in a major
- 13:22way. What do you think about it? I'm not a fan of where
- 13:26comedy is right now. Why y'all so mad? I have no idea,
- 13:30why y'all. I'm supposed to be happy comic, supposed to be telling jokes
- 13:33and making people laugh. Attention comics. We are not gangsters. We don't
- 13:39beat up people, we don't threaten people, Like, why are we doing
- 13:41this? And then when we usually do do those things, it'd be usually
- 13:45used to have to hear about them stories about a comic that you knew was
- 13:48out here gangster for real? Like you're talking about silly ass too. You're
- 13:52like, yeah, he really is about that. You wouldn't even know because
- 13:54that's not even what we present. That's not how we make money or anything.
- 13:58But negativity is really been selling lately, you know. But I do
- 14:01have a different perspective on the Corey Holcombe and Donille Rawlin's thing that happened.
- 14:07Okay, this situation, I believe it is Donille Rowlin's fault. I'm not
- 14:13blaming Corey for it. And I know Cory always it seems like he's always
- 14:16inside. I don't know but from the behind the scenes from a comic who
- 14:22was actually there at the show. What happened was Donelle Rawlins had headlined the
- 14:26show before. This was at the last show, the late show, the
- 14:30midnight show, and Corey Holcomb came later for the later and was like they
- 14:33was like, like Corey said in his on fifty one to fifty, a
- 14:37lot of people don't want to follow me. I don't know if you know
- 14:39how people talk like, don't nobody want to follow me? I don't know
- 14:41how it was, but Corey was going to last. Okay, Donelle went
- 14:45up before Corey did his spark. The light came on. If you don't,
- 14:48the light means it's time to get off stage. Random light, which
- 14:50is not a thing you should do. You know what I'm saying, ran
- 14:52the light do this thing or whatever. They said. Corey Holcomb got on
- 14:56stage and started doing his jokes and you know his type of comedy, it's
- 15:00just that brass in your face whatever, and he started doing jokes on like
- 15:03with Kat Walliams was saying, if you took a D. You know,
- 15:07if you in more than three movies, I know you didnet took a D.
- 15:09He was saying, something to that to that regard, right, And
- 15:13they said that, Donelle Rawlins yells out the crowd, I ain't took no
- 15:20nothing, and then Corey responds, Nah, you just famous cause of Dave
- 15:24Chapelle. Shut up. You know what I'm saying on some back, and
- 15:30that's how they start the back and forth, and that's why they yelling back
- 15:33and forth. That's not Corey Halkins's fault. I was on stage doing my
- 15:35stuff. If you don't like my stuff and you think it's about you,
- 15:39wait till I get off stage. But to yell on stage and think I'm
- 15:41not gonna respond when I got the mic in my hand, it's absolutely ridiculous.
- 15:45Yeah, that's ridiculous. Come on, man, y'all is too y'all
- 15:48comics is getting too tough. It all started and everybody want to say it
- 15:52started with Kat Williams. Naw, it started with Will Smith smack, Chris
- 15:54rock It just seemed like this whole I in a comedian world, you know
- 16:04what I'm saying. I'm like, what like, I'm not laughing at Chris
- 16:08Rocken smack. I'm just like, this is this is the monkey that started
- 16:12everything. It's been downhill since comics used to be a monkey. It was
- 16:19tight the monkey start disease. Who can tear down each other? Who can
- 16:22go on club Shay Shane tell, tear down each other and tell the truth
- 16:26next, and that ain't That's not it, man, get back to the
- 16:30jokes. Get back to being funny. Mike Epps just put out a funny
- 16:33special like it especially, just put out on that. Check it out,
- 16:37like, get back to it actually being funny. And then even with Mike
- 16:41Epps getting into it with shunning sharp, he came back. They squashed it
- 16:45Like that's how comic should squash the stuff. You should squash it and then
- 16:49make jokes about the situation. Then he got back on stage and kept talking
- 16:52like you should. Should nobody be able to stop you talking on stage.
- 16:56But at the same time it should stay there or if y'all gonna go at
- 17:00it, he said. Shannon looked like Medea was hilied. Man. You
- 17:04said big free to you said, he said, He said, he hugged
- 17:07Shannon, he said the most, he said, But I had that thing
- 17:11on me. You know, it's just funny, but it was funny,
- 17:15Big Freedo funny. Keep it funny. Why are y'all trying to be tough,
- 17:18because let me tell you, if comedy is starting to go to fighting,
- 17:22I quit cause I never wanted to fight, but Zach I ain't fighting
- 17:26nobody. Look, buddy, let me ask you a question that either one
- 17:32of y'all can ask it. I'm saying in the fact that Corey Holko was
- 17:37talking about Donelle Rowlins in a sense talking about the comics to go on tour
- 17:41with Dave Chappelle. He's made some comments about that, and maybe Donille Rollins
- 17:45was like, you know what, I gotta get my He couldn't take it
- 17:48no longer. That's what That's what it seemed like he was fed up about
- 17:51it, because he really was in the in the in the clips that I
- 17:53saw, was talking about I'm a beast, you know, letting people know
- 17:56that I do comedy. You're talking about we all has beings of you know,
- 18:00the people that he go on the road with. Uh So, I
- 18:03think that was one of the things I just got off stage. They know
- 18:06you're a beast. Down Rawlins is a beast. Corey Holcomb is a beast.
- 18:10All the comics that are talking about each other are really good at what
- 18:12they do. They are What are we talking about here? Mm hmm.
- 18:18Who are you? Who are you trying to prove this to? I don't
- 18:22know. You should be you might be in a better financial position than Corey.
- 18:26I don't know that. Zach Zach fear Zach's that's kind of It's just
- 18:33it's just I don't want to fight. And then now it's gonna turn into
- 18:37you gotta fight to get on stage. Now it's only gonna be big on
- 18:41stage. Slim tied comedy used to be a place where to dominate. Yes,
- 18:45that was well, that was lane. We could be funny, we
- 18:51can be small, we ain't ain't gotta be big. We could be skinny.
- 18:55We can all and win in that lane. Now you gotta be tough.
- 19:00No, that's not all a go back, So you okay. So
- 19:04here's the thing I hate when Donelle Rawlins is a comedian. Yeah, he
- 19:10but it seemed like he couldn't take a joke. So am I like ton
- 19:15just made the point of he couldn't take it no more. I don't like
- 19:18that. Like, if I've offended you, tell me that I offended you
- 19:22in the moment, you know, after that, don't wait three four years
- 19:26and then just unleash on me and I don't even know why we fight,
- 19:29you know what I'm saying, Like you could have told me that you had
- 19:32a problem with me two months ago. Yeah, don't don't show up at
- 19:36my set or at Big Jam. You know what I'm saying. You ain't
- 19:37been you at Big Jam with a sign in the crowd like I you know,
- 19:41like, don't do that. Tell me you got an issue with me
- 19:45right then and there. And that's what it seemed like has happened between the
- 19:48two of them, according to your inside source who was at the show,
- 19:51Like why would you do that that? Somebody said. I was like,
- 19:53you know, I was confused when I saw it originally. But when you
- 19:56tell that backstory, like why you do that? I have a problem with
- 20:00you, Kiki. You don't always say that I'm not black? Oh my
- 20:06god, it hurts him. It hurts it hurts I apologie bothers myself who
- 20:15shave. I will give you the proper apology when you take the twenty three
- 20:19in me, Okayna, the proper apology when you take the damn test,
- 20:26because I don't know who in your life is lying to you. You know
- 20:30what I'm saying they don't want to tell you the truth. But I know,
- 20:34I know you got some Hispanic family members out there, and I'm not
- 20:37gonna let that. I'm not gonna let you walk around and denial. So
- 20:41when we take the test and if you come back that you don't have no
- 20:45Latino in you, you will never hear me utter another old eye your way.
- 20:49Okay, how many how much Latin? How much Latin it gotta be
- 20:52in it for you to say if if it's if it's one percent of Latino
- 20:57in this man, I'm not sorry for a damn thing. Okay, you
- 21:03know what I'm saying, like I don't know, And let me just say
- 21:04I don't know who watched the pod because see tall tall, I you know
- 21:11what I If you take the test, friend, I will stop. I'm
- 21:15telling you I don't have anything. I know you're telling me. Did you
- 21:21ever take up twenty three? I did? I just don't know idea with
- 21:23the results. This is your man, and he not even not even convinced
- 21:29Zach with me. I'm taking it. I'm taking it on the pie.
- 21:34Do it live bro right, don't try to I gotta see you do it
- 21:37because I don't want you to get Zach the test and they come back you
- 21:40Zimbabwe or whatever that got going on. I want your full report. Yeah,
- 21:48this man went to see Bernar Boy, and I know they probably related.
- 21:49So I don't want no shenanigans. You gotta do it right here on
- 21:53the pie and I will apologize and I will never talk about your corn stand
- 21:57future, none of that. I'm gonna leave it. Just leave it alone,
- 22:00alright, I'm doing I'm doing it. How to hell I get one
- 22:03hundred percent? You have We're black, Okay you have to be, Yeah,
- 22:08you have to be. We're black. Were talking about what care I
- 22:15gotta look like all black girls? That that got baby head. I got
- 22:19a little Indian, I got a little Indy and sometimes like I got a
- 22:25little Korean. But other than that, I'm like, yeah, I'm seeing
- 22:30my ass shot. We are about to get canceled. But I'm glad you
- 22:41told me on this episode. So now I know, all right, I
- 22:45don't do that again until I get until I get well, you're not gonna
- 22:49do it again until I get talking for anyway. So it was a question
- 22:57that I had on the show Yes today and this is we This is two
- 23:02guys having a conversation, so it really didn't did work? Right? Ki?
- 23:10Ki? What do you think men get out of marriage that they can't
- 23:15get outside of marriage? What? I look, I'm asking a question.
- 23:22You about to fight? You know what? I respect this question and this
- 23:27is not I don't want to fight, Tom, This is not to you,
- 23:30but I just respect this question from a man who was seriously seeking a
- 23:36future of marriage. I don't believe you will ever be married, So it's
- 23:41like, why are we about to Why am I about to fight and to
- 23:44go down this road with you? And you ain't. I don't want to
- 23:48be married. I do, I do, I do, But this question
- 23:56do you want to be married? I think it's the dollar thing I say,
- 24:00tell me, I think I think the godly part of it doing the
- 24:04doing, uh, the questions and the college called in and like that's the
- 24:08right thing to do God, under God's eyes. But like if you're just
- 24:12saying for some other stuff, then I can't you know I'm doing you're doing
- 24:17it for God? Yeah, I'm doing it for and that's I do most
- 24:19of my life. That's that's that's the reason, that's that's most of the
- 24:22things I do. That's no better reason for you to do your life for
- 24:26good. Oh yeah, that's why I'm so lucky. I'm glad the six
- 24:30am parties got you. You out here, did it want a party?
- 24:36I'm gonna have a look. But look, but look, I go to
- 24:37the athletes that I go to church. It's people that don't do nothing to
- 24:41go don't go to church. That's true. Church whatever whatever they got going
- 24:45on, I'm gonna get up, like I've been missing church because I've been
- 24:48having a crazy schedule. I'm gonna I'm gonna be in there this Sunday.
- 24:52And that's the thing I said, Like people like they don't live their life
- 24:56a certain way or whatever. How you live your life and you don't go
- 24:59to church, like I want to hear that. Don't talk to me like
- 25:03you don't go with you don't go worship, Like yeah, I might go
- 25:06outside and I might be outside, but I take that moment to get things
- 25:11right with myself, and I use that to get me through the week.
- 25:14Like how many times y'all prayed in the shower, how many times y'all have
- 25:17meditated? How many times y'all get up and pray? How many times y'all
- 25:19you thank God for something that's happened in your life. Come on how many
- 25:26times? Yeah? Like come on, give it. But I'm just saying,
- 25:30like, so people talk about me and look at my life and look,
- 25:33yeah, I ain't gonna lie. I made tons of mistakes, but
- 25:37I've also had a number of wins. A number of wins, and there's
- 25:42number God, Like I got on a sitcom. I'm from Provenstown the country.
- 25:48Who wasn't playing myself? And who put you in that position? God?
- 25:56God, Man, I love this. People are seeing the other side
- 26:00of toll. We know Zach is a PK them the worst, but no
- 26:07I tell anybody like when people ask me, like they really get to and
- 26:11I always said, man's God. Yeah. Like I met a lady on
- 26:14the train that gave me an internship at a radio station, like come on,
- 26:19dog, Like how do you like? Come on dog? And it
- 26:23turns out to be my life's work. Like what Like it's what you were
- 26:27creative? You know what I mean? Like that's the thing. I like,
- 26:30I ain't stupid enough. I went to death Stoppers and I was on
- 26:33my ass broke, ass broke when I talked about all my ass broke broke,
- 26:41And next you know, Tim Hennessy came through. Next thing, you
- 26:42know, loan started coming off. Next, you know, everything starts shaping
- 26:47up next. You know, I'm cool. So we gotta find you a
- 26:51wife. That's the only thing you haven't tapped into yet. We got to
- 26:55get you a wife. If you say you can hear, you got to
- 27:03get you a wife. That's the last thing on you. That's the thing,
- 27:04the thing you haven't checked off yet. And then you have the answer
- 27:07to your own question. The best reason to get married is because of God.
- 27:11It's different kind of blessings and different kind of favor that will come to
- 27:15you when you live your life according to it is I got my outfit of
- 27:22my Sunday outfit of it is a different type of favor that comes with following
- 27:26God's word. So when we're outside of the word and we're dating and we're
- 27:30doing what we all do, and you know, we just living a life
- 27:33out here, you're not gonna touch some of the favor and blessings if you
- 27:37were in a committed relationship and truly married to somebody that God sent you.
- 27:41So I think it's a lot of benefits to being married. I don't know
- 27:45because I ain't never been there yet. But you know, I give me
- 27:48a husband, I think it'll be a great union. I see when I
- 27:53see people that are paired up dope adult pairing, you're usually both dope.
- 27:57Yeah, if they look happy, they look happy. But but to speaking
- 28:03to just to the lower part of the question, it is a lot of
- 28:08times that women coming away, I'm gonna do this. I'm gonna make your
- 28:12house a home. I'm gonna do this. I'm gonna do that. And
- 28:15I'm like, yo, like that, ain't that that? Ain't that?
- 28:19Ain't like you? My house is a home, you know what I mean?
- 28:22Like everything that you talking about right now is I can order and I
- 28:29can get done myself. What ain't we gonna do to make like our lives
- 28:33better? Like outside of like that the stuff. So what would you want?
- 28:37What do you? What do you? What do you want in a
- 28:40wife? Because I feel like men, Oprah, Oh my god, I
- 28:48gotta put some game on y'all. You really was going somewhere. I thought
- 28:51I was really finn get to the bottom and really find out what tone is
- 28:55needing. So here's this, man said Oprah. A lot of time,
- 28:57this is what I'm saying it's yeah, because you have experience. I have
- 29:02experience. You know what I'm saying. I may I might be the only
- 29:03person on the pot who was once man. Okay, can we still got
- 29:07Tom? Don't do that. He's trying to flex on us. We got
- 29:12he about to get married her big. Everybody keeps saying, I don't know
- 29:15why y'all putting marriage on me. I think you will tell me this.
- 29:18I like marriage. I feel look like you got a little wife out.
- 29:22You definitely look like you're about the car. You're gonna pick the kids up.
- 29:27Y'all come there looking like a bomb every week. Okay, I hate
- 29:33y'all. Definitely look like you. You put on a show like you can
- 29:38make up. You can make of me like you look like you're like,
- 29:41Yeah, I better come eat this dinner like a good dinner. Better come
- 29:49show me, y'all. Come come. I hate y'all. Let me call
- 29:56my husband telling them to be a little late. That's what you look like.
- 30:00You say, what husband? If you're out there, I can't hold
- 30:07on. You asked you to stay a little long hold on. Let me
- 30:08call my husband a little late. Yes, that's that outfit you got off.
- 30:15Yeah, can you go get a little Yeah, you go get a
- 30:18little girl from the school. I gotta stay a little her late baby.
- 30:22Yes, I'll see. Okay, I hate you, all right, you
- 30:25definitely got I've never coming in here dressed up. Y'all won't bring us changes,
- 30:30he said, a shout. The fact it does look like she got
- 30:36a shout. I didn't know what to do, came race forced to day.
- 30:44They tail you just look like a mother. Well okay, take that,
- 30:48take that, baby, take that, take it. You come.
- 30:51You're just becoming in your woman for a woman. I'm still but I want
- 30:56to tell y'all this, this is my issue with with my is. I
- 31:00have no issue with marriage. Marriage isn't the problem. It's the people who
- 31:03trying to get married, Okay, okay. It's the women who don't know
- 31:07who only want to be wives because they think that's just the next step,
- 31:12like they don't really have a reason. I ask women, I'll be like,
- 31:15why do you want to be married? And I'm gonna tell you.
- 31:18A big red flag for me is when I hear because I always wanted to,
- 31:22I I see what you don't realize that you are getting ready to be
- 31:26in a role of servitude. Yeah, okay, it's not about I know.
- 31:30More so, if I ask you why you want to be married,
- 31:32and all I hear is I red flag you're not ready to be married.
- 31:36Okay. Now if I ask you do you want to be married, and
- 31:38I hear, we serve, because that's really what it is. A wife's
- 31:45job is to serve her husband, and a husband's job is the server wife.
- 31:48That should be the first thing on their mind. How can I make
- 31:51her life better? As a husband, and the wife should be saying how
- 31:53can I make his life better? If you got two people waking up like
- 31:56that, they gonna be on the same page and they gonna be all right.
- 32:00But everybody in their own opposition, they're trying to do their own thing,
- 32:04have their own reasons and insecurities of why they want to be married,
- 32:07and that be the problem. It ain't marriage marriages at the issue. It's
- 32:10y'all not it's people not knowing that this is a servitude role on both ends.
- 32:17You are in service mode. You are not not about you a little
- 32:24bit. I mean that's good, that's good stuff. Be a woman my
- 32:29age and like my all my girlfriends, like we at the point of like,
- 32:31okay, we're gonna either be getting married or we're not, either we
- 32:35having kids or not. And a lot of us have those reasons that you
- 32:38name, which are stupid. I always wanted to I want y'all rule to
- 32:42perform in my wedding. That's really what's the biggest reason I really want to
- 32:45get married. I have a big wedding with y'all rule. Yes, come,
- 32:52so you' yes and you don't get care. I don't know if I
- 33:01need case. I saw case recently and I, you know, no disrespect,
- 33:05but I don't know. I don't know I can say case I was
- 33:07saying that it was yeah, yeah, but no, I really want you'll
- 33:10root it for my wedding. And that's one of the biggest reasons why I
- 33:13want to get married. That's a rare flag, like you just explained.
- 33:15You know what I'm saying. I ain't getting there because I want to cook
- 33:17for somebody and I want to be there for somebody. Actually, I don't
- 33:21want you in convenience with me. I would just like to have a big
- 33:23party, which ill rut in. So that is why I know I might
- 33:27not be ready. A lot of women they want the dress you talk about
- 33:36the wedding, the dress, the ring, the moment, the pictures,
- 33:38and I wanted to take cute pictures. That's not that's you know, that's
- 33:43not the role, right, Like you gotta you gotta find somebody that's like
- 33:45if they get sick, if they if they lose their job tomorrow, and
- 33:51you gotta be the health care taker. You gotta financially support them on hundred
- 33:54percent? Are you willing to do that? And until you until you feel
- 33:59like that about somebody, then I don't think you need to get married.
- 34:00That's the fact a woman told me. She said, I said this was
- 34:04the best answer. Why. I was like, why you want to get
- 34:07married? She was like, because I'm a nurturer and I want to nurture
- 34:10and raise children and my husband, like not raise her husband, but she
- 34:16wants to be of service to be and that's literally what she wanted to do.
- 34:21She just felt like she her fullness was not happening because she felt like
- 34:24that's who she is. But that's gonna be a good wife to somebody.
- 34:29But I think that's a certain person though, Zach. I think because I
- 34:31one of my best friends, he would he his whole thing is, yo,
- 34:37I want to be a husband, so I want to be That was
- 34:40it. I'm a husband. He got him a wife and he been they've
- 34:43been married for a thousand years. But that is what he wanted to do,
- 34:49and that that that is that person. But I think it's more people
- 34:52that be like, you know, I don't know what I want to do.
- 34:53You know, I wait, And I mean you eventually find that,
- 34:59find that that that that mentality where he's just like yo. Because for me,
- 35:00I didn't I ain't gonna lie. It was like it was only at
- 35:06one point in my life, I really and I proposed to Trinity Mom.
- 35:08Now that was the thing like that was like and now it's and and and
- 35:12I messed it up. But I knew, I know what it. I
- 35:16know what it feels like with okay, what it feels like. But I
- 35:20also understand, of course, when you do that, you gotta be willing
- 35:23to sacrifice everything and sacrifice, doesn't you know? You gotta be in a
- 35:27sacrifice. When somebody super fine comes and tries to hogh, let you just
- 35:31ry it was nice meeting. I holler let you later and keep it pushing
- 35:36until you and say, until you can keep it pushing on on on what
- 35:39everybody likes is sex, then you ain't ready. I think that's true.
- 35:44I think. I mean, well, I have a friend who who's who
- 35:49is married. He's been married about eight nine years now, and he's one
- 35:52of the people he was he was, and he's in our he's in our
- 35:55industry, so y'all can relate to this. He was in he's in our
- 35:59field. I mean, was out all the time on women. He met
- 36:02this girl and I remember when he met her, he was like, I'm
- 36:05gonna marry her, and he knew he wanted to marry her. Right,
- 36:07long story short, they ended up getting married. Now, one thing he
- 36:10stopped doing. The urge never stopped for him to you know, like you
- 36:15said, turn down that fine chick or keep it pushing. He doesn't put
- 36:17itself in position to where that woman is gonna be there. He goes out.
- 36:22Now, he don't drink because he know when he gets drunk, he
- 36:24start looking for women. You know what I'm saying. He don't unless he's
- 36:29with his wife, you know what I'm saying. So it's like he doesn't
- 36:31go out like that, you know what I'm saying, because he knows if
- 36:35he gets in those situations, he'll that'll probably make him want to drink,
- 36:37and then that'll make him want to get on. So he creates boundaries within
- 36:42himself to respect his marriage because he cares that much while he's sober and in
- 36:45his right mind. You know what I'm saying. I like that. But
- 36:50for me, I think I want to just be able to say no.
- 36:52But it don't matter what. But when have you ever been able to say
- 36:57no? I haven't. I have been in relationships, bro, I have
- 37:00an honesty and it's real stuff. I've been in relationships where I'll be like,
- 37:05you know what, I'm cool. I'm not gonna and it ain't it
- 37:07ain't worth it have my phone, it ain't worth it doing this because like
- 37:12I said, like if I I ain't the if I get with somebody,
- 37:17that's my that's that's you girlfriend number two. Like I don't really be the
- 37:22dude, Like I'm just knocking everything down. Like so if I'm getting ready
- 37:25to rock out with somebody, I'm gonna keep rocking out with that person.
- 37:30So it might be like it could turn into five relationships, oh my god,
- 37:35at one time, because I'm not just gonna leave everybody alone. I'm
- 37:39not gonna leave everybody along, so I would it's been I say, hey,
- 37:45that starts out defending himself, But criminals, I'm just saying, it's
- 37:49really saying you have been able to say no. He said no, he
- 37:52said all the time. I got exactly honestly, stop playing with me,
- 38:01bro with me? Doog like now you want to? Now you y'all playing
- 38:06with me? Okay, go ahead, you telling me that? And I
- 38:09know you, bro, I know you. You just like you just like
- 38:15hey, don't know me? You know me? You know me. Yeah,
- 38:24I'm saying is look, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna throw you out
- 38:30the window. Now. He threw you out there? He did. He
- 38:32did throw me out that not like he think I was trying to make a
- 38:43point. No, I know. My point is this is that brother,
- 38:47you know you know you like you ain't just like hey, you if you
- 38:55started liking somebody and then somebody else gives you an opportunity, you're gonna like
- 39:01them too, and you're not gonna throw that. You're not gonna throw her
- 39:05away either. That's all I'm gonna say. That is so dangerous what that
- 39:10means. But I will tell you what you let me tell you what you
- 39:13said you do, he said, just like he got fat girlfriends, you
- 39:15be triends too, and then five plus five is ten and both of y'all
- 39:21can quit. You to lie because you told him, me told on you,
- 39:23but I never. But but my thing is, I've been in situations
- 39:25where I'm saying, I know that's the potential of a happening. Doesn't happen
- 39:29all the time, no, but I'm saying there's a potential of that to
- 39:31happen. I've been in relationships where I just been like, yo, I'm
- 39:36cool now, I'm cool now. When things I will say this, when
- 39:39things start to get funny, then that's what I get funny that there's that.
- 39:44Okay, there's that because at the end of the day, and what
- 39:49I've realized is this is that you cannot catch a woman cheese. You just
- 39:52can't. You it's a little mistakes. If it feels I would say,
- 39:57if it feel weird, it's probably weird because but if you think you're finished
- 40:00catcher, bro, it's just it's too hard to catch, y'all. It's
- 40:05not. It ain't even worse. And then you're gonna make us feel stupid
- 40:07for trying to catch absolutely a lot of times out of ten, y'all made
- 40:13us cheat anyway, We just you understand. We're just trying to stop giving
- 40:22them that on the own women who treated don't tell me this is this ever
- 40:28happened to you where you have maybe even had to turn down turn down a
- 40:35woman who was trying to cheat on they dude with you. Oh that's a
- 40:37fact. Tell me all them, dudes. It's the reason that it's a
- 40:42reason I don't know them was just cheating because they wanted to. Oh yeah,
- 40:45I don't. I don't for dudes that do that. They're specializing that.
- 40:50I never understand that. Dude, dudes, I don't understand to do
- 40:53that if you not even saying your friend. But you in that community,
- 41:00right, and you know that this is this guy's girl. She bad as
- 41:05hell, and she been with them, and then she breaks up, she
- 41:07breaks up, they break up, and then you slide in and now you're
- 41:12gonna day that and y'all still gonna be in the same community. I don't
- 41:15understand that guy, but hey, the each is on, and I don't
- 41:17understand the guy that want to date the girl that got they want to even
- 41:22go after the girl they got somebody, because a lot of dudes are not.
- 41:28They not finna touch that girl. They're not gonna touch it. They
- 41:31mad as her letter, they hate her. They going crazy, they put
- 41:36but the violence part, the violence is coming your way. It's coming to
- 41:40the dude. Oh, I see what you're saying. OK. So what
- 41:43I'm saying like so like it's a lot of more. I almost bet more
- 41:49than half of the interactions, violent interactions that happen between men are over with
- 41:55over women. And you do and and you mess with a dude's girl,
- 42:00Bro, he is not going to like it's crazy dudes that been violent on
- 42:05women, which you got a problem. They not that vialance and that violence
- 42:08is not happening towards them. They waiting to get into it with you.
- 42:12They might even try to get into it with you on purpose to give them
- 42:15a reason to fight you. Yes, it's like that's the thing. I
- 42:17was like, I don't mess with none of that. That ain't that ain't
- 42:21that. Don't get my rocks off. I don't think I'm the best dude
- 42:23because I took his girl. No, that's dangerous. And I've never because
- 42:29I was like, maybe you ain't never seen somebody really get their lights turned
- 42:31out over over that and I and I definitely have, I definitely have.
- 42:37I've seen it more than once. Dudes get their lights turned out over over
- 42:40messing with somebody. Check you know what I mean, Like, think you're
- 42:45getting over into that dude running up on you. Yeah, women, we
- 42:49only cheat because y'all. No, we ain't gonna say that y'all chee because
- 42:52y'all want to cheat. No, No, y'all definitely got some just like
- 42:55a lot of PP. So I mean it's it's a few bad apples and
- 43:00no, it's at but women, for majority of us, we are reactors.
- 43:05We only react to what y'all giving us. So y'all are the kings.
- 43:08Y'all leave the way, and if y'all want to have a great relationship,
- 43:12then be great to me. I'll be great to you. You cheat
- 43:14on me, I'm getting my look back. I believe that. I always
- 43:17believe that. Yeah, so you guys control it, you control the environment.
