- 2:43Speaker 1: day number eight on this journey. Day number eight, Day
- 2:47Speaker 1: number eight in God's plan we're going to be coming
- 2:51Speaker 1: out of Jeremia twenty nine and eleven. Affirmation statement for
- 2:56Speaker 1: the day is I am confident in god Good plans
- 3:01Speaker 1: for my life. I want you to speak that over
- 3:03Speaker 1: your life on today. I am confident in God's good
- 3:07Speaker 1: plans for my life. I'm gonna go ahead and jump
- 3:12Speaker 1: into the lesson on today, y'all, and hopefully I want
- 3:15Speaker 1: forget to share the poem y'all, because each one of
- 3:18Speaker 1: these devotions has a poem. Because I am a poet,
- 3:22Speaker 1: I like to share my words, so I share through
- 3:24Speaker 1: poetry one of the ways that I share. And in
- 3:29Speaker 1: each one of these devotions here I've included a short poem.
- 3:33Speaker 1: It's just one stance of four lines in each one
- 3:36Speaker 1: of these hopes that it would encourage someone to, you know,
- 3:41Speaker 1: write their own poems, to do some things to you know,
- 3:45Speaker 1: share that stuff that they have on the inside of them.
- 3:48Speaker 1: And then there's also some pages in the back where
- 3:51Speaker 1: you can also journal journal throughout your process with you
- 3:56Speaker 1: your thoughts, your feelings, things that you are experiencing as
- 3:59Speaker 1: you go through this book. Again, I want to thank
- 4:02Speaker 1: you guys for joining me on this morning, y'all. We
- 4:05Speaker 1: are day eight of a twenty one day journey. Again
- 4:09Speaker 1: confidence in God's plan. I'm gonna go ahead and pray
- 4:13Speaker 1: so we can go ahead and get started. Father God,
- 4:15Speaker 1: in the name of Jesus, Lord, I thank you for
- 4:16Speaker 1: yet another opportunity that I can come before your people,
- 4:19Speaker 1: Lord God and share that that you have placed on
- 4:21Speaker 1: the inside of me, that that you have placed in
- 4:23Speaker 1: my heart to share for your people on today, Lord God,
- 4:27Speaker 1: I thank you for the space. I thank you for
- 4:29Speaker 1: this opportunity. I thank you for yet I'm gonna let
- 4:36Speaker 1: that pass so pass over. I thank you, Lord for
- 4:40Speaker 1: yet another day that we not seeing, Lord God, and
- 4:44Speaker 1: that we will not see again, Lord God. So, Father,
- 4:46Speaker 1: I just asked that you would just have your way
- 4:48Speaker 1: in each one of our lives. Or God, allow us
- 4:51Speaker 1: to catch up with that that you have already preordained
- 4:53Speaker 1: and pre destined for us on today, Lord God, Father,
- 4:57Speaker 1: allow us to walk in your perfect will for our
- 5:01Speaker 1: lives and not allow us to get caught up in pride, envy,
- 5:05Speaker 1: jealousy strikes all those things that come against your will
- 5:09Speaker 1: for us. Or God Father, remove us out of the
- 5:11Speaker 1: way on today and allow your spirit man to truly,
- 5:14Speaker 1: truly rise up and be seen within us today as
- 5:18Speaker 1: we go out into this world. You said we had
- 5:20Speaker 1: to be in this world, but not of this world.
- 5:22Speaker 1: So Father, I hope that there's something that I share
- 5:25Speaker 1: on today that will be a beacon of light to
- 5:27Speaker 1: someone that may not know you on today, that they
- 5:29Speaker 1: will come to know you on today and truly get
- 5:32Speaker 1: a better understanding of your word. Father, use me on
- 5:36Speaker 1: today to allow your word to come forward. And this
- 5:39Speaker 1: asking your son Jesus saying, y'all, we're gonna go ahead
- 5:42Speaker 1: and jump into this lesson. As I stated earlier, it
- 5:47Speaker 1: is coming out of Jeremiah twenty nine, verse eleven, and
- 5:55Speaker 1: the title of this lesson for today is a quieter
- 6:00Speaker 1: Garans Day eight Confidence in God's Plan. Again, the scripture
- 6:06Speaker 1: for today is for I know the plans that I
- 6:08Speaker 1: have for you, declares the Lord plans to prosper you
- 6:12Speaker 1: and not to harm you, plans to give you hope
- 6:14Speaker 1: and the future. And that is the NIV version Jeremiah
- 6:18Speaker 1: tuny nine and eleven. Again, our affirmation for the day
- 6:21Speaker 1: is I am confident in God's plan for my life,
- 6:24Speaker 1: and I want you to speak that over your life today.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I want you to be confident and the things that
- 6:30Speaker 1: you know that God has called you to. Don't allow people, places,
- 6:34Speaker 1: or things to separate you from that that you know
- 6:37Speaker 1: that God has preordained for you. He tells us in
- 6:40Speaker 1: his words. It is a commandment, he said, for I
- 6:43Speaker 1: know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord.
- 6:46Speaker 1: That means it's past, and that means it's already done,
- 6:49Speaker 1: that it's already written, that it cannot change, that it
- 6:51Speaker 1: will not change no matter how we strengthen, no matter
- 6:54Speaker 1: how we stray. His plan is his plan, and we
- 6:57Speaker 1: share fulfilled his plan for our lives. So everyone of
- 7:00Speaker 1: us we face moments of uncertainty, times when the future
- 7:04Speaker 1: scene clouded by questions. Sat backs. Yeah, they flying low today,
- 7:14Speaker 1: and they flying in quickly because it is raining a
- 7:18Speaker 1: little bit. It's getting ready to storm here where I am.
- 7:21Speaker 1: So they're flying really low today, so you may hear
- 7:25Speaker 1: some airplanes in the background. It's okay. But yet we
- 7:29Speaker 1: press and I'm going to start over because I want
- 7:32Speaker 1: people to understand exactly what it is. If you see
- 7:35Speaker 1: me pausing or hear me pause, and know that I'm
- 7:37Speaker 1: just letting the plane go by. So everyone of us
- 7:40Speaker 1: we face moments of uncertainty, times when the future scene
- 7:44Speaker 1: clouded by questions, sat backs, and just awaiting season because
- 7:50Speaker 1: everything is not microwave, everything is not popcorn. Everything just
- 7:53Speaker 1: don't happens right away. But understand that how we can
- 7:58Speaker 1: be reassured knowing that in all these moments, God plan
- 8:03Speaker 1: is steady, It is good, it is hopeful. Today, let's
- 8:07Speaker 1: cultivate an unwavering confidence in the sovereign One, the loving
- 8:12Speaker 1: plan that God has for each one of us. A
- 8:15Speaker 1: little bit about Jeremiah twenty nine and eleven. It is
- 8:18Speaker 1: often quoted as a personal promise, but it original context
- 8:22Speaker 1: carries an even deeper meaning and hope. The verse was
- 8:27Speaker 1: spoken by the prophet Jeremiah during one of the darkest
- 8:31Speaker 1: chapters of Israel's history, the babylon Exile. The people of
- 8:36Speaker 1: Judah had been forcibly removed from their homeland Jerusalem and
- 8:41Speaker 1: had been conquered, and many, especially leaders, skilled workers, and
- 8:46Speaker 1: young people, were taken into captivity and Babylah families were uprooted,
- 8:52Speaker 1: places of worship destroyed, and their national identity thrown into crisis.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Everything familiar was and the future seemed hopeless. Aim this
- 9:05Speaker 1: suffering false prophets were promising quick solutions, a swift return home,
- 9:11Speaker 1: but Jeremiah, faithfully to God true word, delivered a very
- 9:16Speaker 1: difficult message. God instructed the exile to settle down in Babylon,
- 9:24Speaker 1: build homes, plant gardens, seek peace and prosperity for the
- 9:28Speaker 1: city where we were health captive. And this was Jeremiah
- 9:32Speaker 1: twenty nine, verses five and seven. He said that the
- 9:36Speaker 1: exile would last seventy years, a lifetime for many of
- 9:40Speaker 1: those hearing it. For people living with dashed hope in
- 9:45Speaker 1: a sense of abandonment, Jeremiah delivered a message that was
- 9:49Speaker 1: both difficult and deeply loving. He told them. He told
- 9:55Speaker 1: them not to place their trust in quick fixes or
- 9:59Speaker 1: empty promise, but the trust in god long term sovereign plan.
- 10:05Speaker 1: And Jeremiah twenty nine and eleven. God spoke these words,
- 10:09Speaker 1: for I know the plans that I have for you,
- 10:12Speaker 1: declares the Lord plans to prosper you and not to
- 10:15Speaker 1: harm you, plans to give you hope in the future.
- 10:19Speaker 1: This was not just a promise of immediately deliverance, but
- 10:23Speaker 1: an enduring hope, eventual restoration even in the foreign land.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Bear fit of all, they knew God's heart for his
- 10:34Speaker 1: people was unchanging their plan and waiting were meanless. God
- 10:39Speaker 1: was actually working for their good, shaping their futures even
- 10:43Speaker 1: in the midst of lost. This backstory teaches us that
- 10:48Speaker 1: god promises are often given in valance, not just on mountaintops.
- 10:52Speaker 1: He caused us to faithful and patience, inviting us to
- 10:57Speaker 1: trust that even in our own season of exile, when
- 11:01Speaker 1: dreams are delayed, life feels unpinned, he is weaving a
- 11:06Speaker 1: story of redemption, hope, and future his time in his way.
- 11:13Speaker 1: In short, Jeremiah twenty nine and eleven is not just
- 11:17Speaker 1: a verse for easy days. It is for a lifetime
- 11:22Speaker 1: of exile, a promise that God is working restoration even
- 11:27Speaker 1: when we cannot see it. Our word of today is providence.
- 11:33Speaker 1: That providence not just be the word that you read today,
- 11:37Speaker 1: but a reality that you rest in. Providence is at
- 11:41Speaker 1: the heart of confidence, faith, a trust that God is
- 11:45Speaker 1: not only present, but it's actively and lovingly directing the
- 11:50Speaker 1: course of your life, even the ordinary moments that feel
- 11:55Speaker 1: unremarkable or confusing. Providence means that nothing about your is
- 12:00Speaker 1: random or is overlooked. It is more than just God
- 12:04Speaker 1: foreseeing the future. It is his sovereign hand gently and
- 12:10Speaker 1: firmly stern your life towards His excellent purpose. Every joy
- 12:16Speaker 1: you celebrate, every pain you endure, every door that closes,
- 12:20Speaker 1: and every season of waiting. It's woving the master weaving.
- 12:25Speaker 1: It's woving by the master weaver, who sees the entire temperess,
- 12:30Speaker 1: while we often only see the loose threads. It was
- 12:42Speaker 1: providence that mad Joseph from the pit to the palace.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Each step betrayal, slavery, foss, accusation, imprisonment was necessary for
- 12:51Speaker 1: God to position him for the saving of many lives
- 12:55Speaker 1: Genesis fifty and twenty. It was providence that protected Moses
- 13:00Speaker 1: in the basket of the Nile, guiding him from the
- 13:03Speaker 1: orphan to delivery. Providence is what held Ruth and their
- 13:07Speaker 1: only in their misfortune, but led to unaffected redemption and legacy.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Even when you can't trace God's hand, you can trust
- 13:17Speaker 1: his heart. The job that did not work out, the
- 13:19Speaker 1: relationship that ended, the move that you did not plan,
- 13:23Speaker 1: the waiting you endured, none of it was wasted in
- 13:28Speaker 1: the economy of providence. God's promise is that in all
- 13:33Speaker 1: things God works for the good of those who Romans
- 13:37Speaker 1: eight and twenty eight, not just some things, but all things.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Understand it, get it down in your heart, write it
- 13:45Speaker 1: in your heart, and know it. Providence means that you
- 13:48Speaker 1: are not adrift. Heaven is managing the details of your life,
- 13:52Speaker 1: aim the chaos, in the calm, when it seems darkest,
- 13:56Speaker 1: almost uncertain. Providence is turning the page and writing the
- 14:00Speaker 1: story more beautiful than you can ever imagine. Today, open
- 14:04Speaker 1: your hands and release control. Whisper God, I trust your providence.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Take control in knowing every part of your journey is seen,
- 14:14Speaker 1: known and loving purpose. Let Providence be your quiet assurance,
- 14:19Speaker 1: your anchor and confusion and your hope and the unknown.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Nothing is wasted, nothing is out of place. God cannot fail.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Want to share a story with you that is not
- 14:31Speaker 1: so popular, but it's one that is written in the word.
- 14:35Speaker 1: If you go over to Luke twenty three, Verses fifty
- 14:38Speaker 1: and fifty six, it is a not so popular story
- 14:41Speaker 1: of Joseph of Admirith. While the patriarch, Joseph's story is
- 14:47Speaker 1: often sided for trusting God's plan, today, consider Joseph of
- 14:52Speaker 1: Arimatha after Jesus crucifixion. Crucifixion, Joseph a respected but he
- 15:00Speaker 1: greet disciple, Step out on faith. He boldly asked plieth
- 15:06Speaker 1: of Jesus' body and laid him in a new tomb,
- 15:10Speaker 1: fulfilling the prophecy and ensuring Jesus received a respectful barier
- 15:14Speaker 1: burrier Isaiah fifty three and nine. Own what looked like
- 15:20Speaker 1: the darkest day when hope seemed lost, Joseph's quiet confidence
- 15:26Speaker 1: in God's greater plan helped set the stage for resurrection.
- 15:31Speaker 1: His courage was essential through few recall his role. I
- 15:38Speaker 1: want you to know today that God's plans are unfailing
- 15:42Speaker 1: and full of promise. Many are the plans in a
- 15:45Speaker 1: person's heart, but it's the Lord's purpose and prevailed Proverbs
- 15:49Speaker 1: nineteen and twenty one. God designs for our lives to
- 15:53Speaker 1: never fail. Even when ours do, He promises good even
- 15:58Speaker 1: in the unknown. God works through our waiting and our steps.
- 16:04Speaker 1: The Lord with God you always. He will satisfy your
- 16:08Speaker 1: needs in a sun's scorchland Isaiah fifty eight and eleven.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Even when life does not make sense, God, God's God proprides,
- 16:18Speaker 1: and God brings us exactly where we need to be.
- 16:23Speaker 1: You can face the future with courage and hope. Be
- 16:26Speaker 1: strong and courageous, Do not be afraid, for the Lord.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Your God is with you. He will never leave you,
- 16:33Speaker 1: nor forsake you do to running me thirty one and six.
- 16:36Speaker 1: No matter what comes, God endures and doing presence gives
- 16:41Speaker 1: us a reason to live boldly and with hope. Three
- 16:46Speaker 1: ways that you can apply this to your life starting today.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Start each day by declaring God's promises over your life.
- 16:55Speaker 1: This is the day that the Lord has made. Let
- 16:57Speaker 1: us rejoice and be glad in his Psalms one, eighteen
- 17:00Speaker 1: and twenty four. Begin your day by speaking God's plan
- 17:03Speaker 1: of hope and prosperity over your life. You have that power.
- 17:07Speaker 1: He's given us that power and Proverbs eighteen and sixteen.
- 17:10Speaker 1: We have the power to speak life or death. I
- 17:12Speaker 1: choose to speak life, So speak it over your life.
- 17:15Speaker 1: And then you got to surrender uncertainties in prayer. When
- 17:19Speaker 1: you go in prayer, cast all your anxieties on him
- 17:22Speaker 1: because He cares for you. First Peter five and sentiment.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Whenever feared doubt, arise, hand it to God and trust
- 17:30Speaker 1: that His hands is always steady, even when yours are shaky.
- 17:36Speaker 1: At bold and faith, commit to the Lord whatever you do,
- 17:40Speaker 1: and he will establish your plans. Proverbs sixteen and three.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Step out where God leaves, even if you cannot see
- 17:48Speaker 1: the whole path. Confidence comes from moving forward with him
- 17:52Speaker 1: and knowing that his word is true. His word will
- 17:55Speaker 1: not return to him today. Anchor your confidence not in circumstance,
- 18:02Speaker 1: your feelings, or even in your own understanding, but in
- 18:05Speaker 1: the unchanging, unstoppable plans of God for your life, like
- 18:11Speaker 1: the exile awaiting restoration, and like Joseph of Amorist stepping
- 18:17Speaker 1: out on faith. Trust that God's providence is working ahead
- 18:22Speaker 1: of you, needing hope into your future. As you walk today,
- 18:27Speaker 1: that your uncertainties become opportunities to say, I am confident
- 18:31Speaker 1: in God's plan for my life. You got to speak
- 18:35Speaker 1: over your life. You have to speak over your life.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Speak over your life today. Speak over your life today.
- 18:43Speaker 1: As you walk today, let every uncertainty become an opportunity
- 18:48Speaker 1: to say, I am confident in God's good plan for
- 18:53Speaker 1: my life. Again, I am confident in God's good plan
- 18:59Speaker 1: for my life. I want y'all to join me back
- 19:03Speaker 1: here tomorrow for day number nine. Rest in God's timing
- 19:09Speaker 1: is the title we're going to be coming from a
- 19:11Speaker 1: Ecclesiastics three and eleven. As we continue our journey in
- 19:16Speaker 1: acquiet assurance, learning to rest in the perfect time and
- 19:21Speaker 1: rhythm of God's heart. Let confidence rise within you today.
- 19:26Speaker 1: God's plan is at work and your future is secure
- 19:30Speaker 1: in him. Know that trust that believe it, and allow
- 19:35Speaker 1: him to do what he said he would do in
- 19:37Speaker 1: your life. As I prepare to close, I'm going to
- 19:40Speaker 1: close out with a prayer. I pray that there has
- 19:42Speaker 1: been something that God has laid upon your heart that
- 19:46Speaker 1: will be able to carry you throughout this day. By
- 19:49Speaker 1: the God in the name of Jesus, Lord, I thank
- 19:51Speaker 1: you for this opportunity. I thank you for this space
- 19:53Speaker 1: that we can come before you, that we can lift
- 19:55Speaker 1: up our praises, that we can come in unity to
- 19:59Speaker 1: share your word. Oh God, so Father, I pray that
- 20:01Speaker 1: these nuggets that I've shared, these these these tips, these
- 20:05Speaker 1: these words, whatever we want to call it today, this
- 20:09Speaker 1: that I have shared with your people on today, from
- 20:12Speaker 1: my heart to their soul. I pray that it will
- 20:14Speaker 1: bless them mightily, and it will not just be words
- 20:17Speaker 1: that they hear, but that we will be words that
- 20:20Speaker 1: they will apply over their life. And watch you work
- 20:23Speaker 1: through the manifesting of your word. Because your word is
- 20:26Speaker 1: true your word will not return to your Lord, and
- 20:29Speaker 1: you will watch over it until it is perfected and
- 20:32Speaker 1: performed in each and every one of our lives. So Father,
- 20:35Speaker 1: we thank you for this time. We thank you for
- 20:37Speaker 1: this hour. We thank you for this new day that
- 20:39Speaker 1: we've never seen and that we will never see again.
- 20:42Speaker 1: So Father, I asked that you will just have your
- 20:44Speaker 1: way concerning me, concerning all those that are tuned in Lord,
- 20:48Speaker 1: by the open the windows to heaven and pouse out
- 20:50Speaker 1: of blessing that we won't have room enough to the store,
- 20:52Speaker 1: but will cause us to continually to give just as
- 20:55Speaker 1: we do. Father, I thank you for allowing me to
- 20:58Speaker 1: be a vessel on today, Lord God, Father, I asked
- 21:01Speaker 1: it if there was anything that is in me or
- 21:04Speaker 1: contrary to your word. Father, I asked that you will
- 21:07Speaker 1: show it to me, reveal it to me, so that
- 21:09Speaker 1: I won't walk in era or lead anyone in era. Father,
- 21:12Speaker 1: I don't I pray that the things that I have
- 21:14Speaker 1: shared have been pleasing to you on today, Lord God,
- 21:17Speaker 1: and Father, let it be a seed to the soul
- 21:21Speaker 1: that it may produce fruit and do season. Lord, I
- 21:24Speaker 1: thank you. I thank you for this time, And Father,
- 21:27Speaker 1: I ask that you allow your Holy Spirit to go
- 21:29Speaker 1: before us saw God, as we have to be in
- 21:31Speaker 1: this world, but not of this world, to lead God
- 21:34Speaker 1: and direct us in every path that you will have
