  Speaker 1: Him talking to you as we read his word, the

  Speaker 1: Bible now. God wants to get involved with you in

  Speaker 1: your life, and listening to what he has to say

  Speaker 1: to us is one of the best ways to grow

  Speaker 1: your relationship with Him.

  Speaker 1: We're reading from the book of Hebrews this week, chapter 10,

  Speaker 1: and here's what it says in verses 24 and 25.

  Speaker 1: It says, and let us consider how to stir one
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: another up to love and good works.
• 0:58
  Speaker 1: Not neglecting to meet together as is the habit of some,

  Speaker 1: but encouraging one another and all the more as you
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: see the day drawing near. That is the day of
• 1:11
  Speaker 1: God's judgement, well.

  Speaker 1: This is a beautiful couple of verses. He's just talked
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: about getting rid of that sense of guilt you drag
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: around with you and trusting that what God says about
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: you and what he says about his love for you
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: and your access to him, because you're totally forgiven.

  Speaker 1: That is all there and then he says, and consider
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: how to stir up one another to love and good works.

  Speaker 1: So it's not just about you and your relationship with God.

  Speaker 1: Listen very carefully.

  Speaker 1: When God reaches into your life.
• 1:52
  Speaker 1: And begins to redeem your life. You make a mess
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: of your life. You've got some things going right, but
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: your inner life you cannot make right without God.

  Speaker 1: And when you encounter God and He starts to change
• 2:09
  Speaker 1: your life and He forgives you and brings you into
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: relationship with Him and starts to draw you near to Him,

  Speaker 1: when he does that in your life, you instantly become
• 2:22
  Speaker 1: a part of His plan for the lives of the
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: people around you.
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: Isn't that awesome?
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: Your life becomes full of this purpose of God. Yes,
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: you're going to work, you're going to uni, you're doing
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: whatever you're doing in your neighbourhood, in your home.
• 2:41
  Speaker 1: But all at the same time you're asking the question, God,
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: what is your purpose through me in the lives of
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: the people around me so that you're constantly considering how
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: can I stir up this person I'm talking to to love,
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: to love God if they don't know Him, to love
• 3:01
  Speaker 1: the people around them if they do know Him. How
• 3:05
  Speaker 1: can I stir people up to do what's right, to
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: do what builds people up.
• 3:11
  Speaker 1: I'm not going to neglect the people around me. I'm
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: not going to try and live this lone wolf kind
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: of life, no, as the verse says, encouraging one another.
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: That's what God wants for you. You have received so
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: much from Him. He's doing things in your life.
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: But that's not just for you, he wants you to
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: get involved in what he is doing in the lives
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: of the people around you. So just take a moment,
• 3:39
  Speaker 1: think about the people you're going to encounter today. Maybe
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: you are already with them right now listening.
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: Together to this radio spot. Maybe it's someone you're going
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: to meet in just a little while, maybe it's the
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: people in your own family, maybe it's a work acquaintance.
• 3:54
  Speaker 1: I don't know. Think through the specific people you're going
• 3:57
  Speaker 1: to see today and ask God.

  Speaker 1: Would you work through me to stir those people up,
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: to love you, to love the people around them, and
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: to do what's right in their lives? I want to
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: be your instrument.
