- 0:08You're listening to the Hidden Lightness on America
- 0:09Out Loud Talk Radio.
- 0:11I'm your host Jimmy Hinton.
- 0:13Well, I saw a recent article that just
- 0:16caught my attention, and I've got to talk
- 0:18about it because it's all things health.
- 0:21And I gotta tell you, we must focus
- 0:23on health as a nation.
- 0:26We are a very unhealthy nation.
- 0:28We're overweight.
- 0:29We uh we have high blood pressure, all
- 0:31kinds of diseases.
- 0:33Our kids are the most diseased that they've
- 0:35ever been, and it's uh it's a growing
- 0:36problem.
- 0:38It's a growing crisis in America.
- 0:40But the good news is there are affordable
- 0:42solutions.
- 0:44And this article that caught my attention says
- 0:48cheap, healthy food is rejected by most Americans,
- 0:51even as MAHA, make America Healthy again, movement
- 0:55pushes it.
- 0:59Really interesting, interesting read, and I find this
- 1:02to be true.
- 1:04I find that a lot of Americans, they
- 1:06know it's healthy.
- 1:08They can be told what's healthy, but old
- 1:10habits die hard.
- 1:13This is true of most of us.
- 1:15That's why a lot of people have trouble
- 1:18quitting bad habits like smoking and chewing and
- 1:21uh drinking and all sorts of things.
- 1:24People really struggle to quit bad habits, and
- 1:27that includes the way that we eat, processed
- 1:30foods.
- 1:33Uh, we have a major, major issue, not
- 1:37just with cholesterol and heart disease leading the
- 1:41deaths here in America, but we have major
- 1:45chronic gut issues in America.
- 1:49Now, I want you to listen to some
- 1:50of these statistics.
- 1:52This I knew it was bad, but this
- 1:54is unbelievably bad.
- 1:56This has gotten so bad in recent history
- 1:59that it's plaguing about half of Americans.
- 2:03Chronic gut issues have reached crisis levels in
- 2:06America.
- 2:09They affect an estimated 60 to 70 million
- 2:12people annually.
- 2:1460 to 70 million.
- 2:19The chronic gut issues, the disorders are a
- 2:22leasing leading cause of morbidity, with roughly 40%
- 2:26of Americans reporting that digestive issues disrupt their
- 2:30daily lives.
- 2:33They can't even make it through the workday
- 2:35because they have gut issues.
- 2:38Now, I see this a lot.
- 2:40I hate to say it, but and I
- 2:42don't draw attention to it because obviously it's
- 2:45it's deeply personal and quite frankly, it's embarrassing
- 2:47when people have gut issues.
- 2:51But 40% of Americans say that digestive issues
- 2:54are disrupting their daily lives.
- 2:58They suffer from chronic conditions like irritable bowel
- 3:03syndrome, IBS, constipation, or gastroesophagal uh reflux disease,
- 3:08G E R D, GERD.
- 3:14There's just major prevalence across America.
- 3:18Roughly one in five Americans suffer from digestive
- 3:20disorders.
- 3:23A 2025 survey just last year, it found
- 3:26that 44% of Americans experience stomach discomfort or
- 3:30bloating within two hours of eating.
- 3:34Now, I gotta tell you, this is not
- 3:35normal.
- 3:38When we eat food, we shouldn't feel bloated
- 3:41and feel like we're gonna explode.
- 3:44Our gut shouldn't be gurgling and uh, you
- 3:47know, uh I don't want to be graphic
- 3:49here, but you catch my drift, no pun
- 3:52intended.
- 3:56You shouldn't have certain smells coming from you
- 3:58within minutes of eating.
- 4:01But this is a major issue in America,
- 4:04and this article caught my attention.
- 4:06It really caught my attention because even though
- 4:09Americans are suffering and suffering terribly from all
- 4:12of these issues, all the gut issues, and
- 4:15as they say, the gut is tied to
- 4:17the brain.
- 4:20Think about migraines, brain fog, uh lack of
- 4:24mobility, chronic inflammation, not just of the gut,
- 4:28but of joints and on and on and
- 4:32on.
- 4:36Major, major health issues that are tied directly
- 4:39to the way that we eat, the food
- 4:42that we eat, the the lack of exercise,
- 4:45all of these things are tied together, and
- 4:48then here's the catch.
- 4:52Food is outrageously expensive.
- 4:57It is outrageously expensive.
- 5:01And the Make A Make America Healthy Again
- 5:04movement is saying, hey, there's a much more
- 5:06affordable way than all the crap and garbage
- 5:09that we're eating.
- 5:13There's a lot healthier food like superfoods.
- 5:17It's a lot healthier, a lot cheaper.
- 5:20And if we just latch on to these
- 5:22foods, it can change your life.
- 5:24Literally change your life.
- 5:28So here in the article, it might be
- 5:31something that a lot of people are not
- 5:33inclined to eat.
- 5:36Obviously, people are not uh really liking this
- 5:40very much, but it's the awful now, not
- 5:44awful as in gross, but OFFAL.
- 5:48The organs, people don't eat organs because I
- 5:52guess they don't like the taste of it.
- 5:55It's it's it's an acquired taste.
- 5:58It's a little bit different, but RFK Jr.
- 6:00is saying it's these are superfoods, and he's
- 6:02right, 100% right.
- 6:04I'll read you some facts and statistics on
- 6:06this.
- 6:08But people have been eating this since the
- 6:10beginning of time.
- 6:13Until recently, until we got to processed foods
- 6:15in America.
- 6:17Everything's processed.
- 6:19One of the most nutrient dense foods on
- 6:22planet Earth.
- 6:26It's also one of the cheapest, by the
- 6:28way.
- 6:31It's the organ meats.
- 6:33And yet, according to the article, it's a
- 6:35Fox News article.
- 6:38Americans are turning their noses up at it.
- 6:45They're also known as awful.
- 6:47OFFAL.
- 6:50They're absolutely packed.
- 6:53Packed to the gills, no pun intended.
- 6:56There are a lot of puns today.
- 6:58I'm feeling extra punny today.
- 7:00They're packed with protein.
- 7:00They're packed with protein.
- 7:03They contain more vitamins and minerals than premium
- 7:03They contain more vitamins and minerals than premium
- 7:05muscle cuts.
- 7:05muscle cuts.
- 7:08That's according to the Cleveland Clinic.
- 7:08That's according to the Cleveland Clinic.

- 7:27The same amount of top sirloin steak typically
- 7:27The same amount of top sirloin.
- 7:32only contains 2.4 micro micrograms of B12.
- 7:3870.7 versus 2.4.
- 7:41That's according to the U.S.
- 7:43Department of Agriculture, the USDA.
- 7:47So then you get the bang for the
- 7:49buck factor.
- 7:54They typically cost between 50% and 90% less
- 7:58than filet mignon, ribeye, New York strip, other
- 8:03popular cuts, according to a bunch of estimates.
- 8:10USDA choice beef liver sells for $3.39 per
- 8:14pound on Instacart.
- 8:19Where beef loin, sirloin is 14.29 per pound.
- 8:27$14.29 per pound compared to just a little
- 8:29over $3.
- 8:34This is absolutely wild.
- 8:36And Americans are turning their noses up at
- 8:37it.
- 8:38Well, no, I don't want to eat that.
- 8:40Give me my, give me my uh boiled
- 8:44quote unquote chicken, you know, the chicken nuggets.
- 8:50If you look at the ingredients that are
- 8:53in chicken nuggets, it's it would blow your
- 8:55mind, plus all the preservatives, and then we
- 8:58wonder why we get bloating and indigestion and
- 9:01heartburn and constipation and diarrhea and on and
- 9:04on and on and on.
- 9:08I mean, we have chronic inflammation as Americans.
- 9:12And now I just recently did a show
- 9:14on this.
- 9:16That colon cancer among young people is at
- 9:18an all-time high.
- 9:21It is absolutely skyrocketed in recent years.
- 9:24Well, what's happening here?
- 9:27Are we just getting bad genes, bad genetics?
- 9:31Or is there something else at play?
- 9:33I would argue that there's something else at
- 9:34play.
- 9:35I would argue that we're eating more and
- 9:37more garbage, and it's getting more and more
- 9:38expensive.
- 9:40And by the way, the portions are getting
- 9:42less and less.
- 9:43And there are lots of studies that talk
- 9:46about how when you're eating processed foods, it's
- 9:48less filling.
- 9:51You don't get full eating processed garbage.
- 9:56Your gut feels empty constantly.
- 9:58You have to eat more and more of
- 9:59it.
- 10:00The portions are getting smaller and smaller.
- 10:02That was uh that actually started during COVID.
- 10:06Where it used to be you would get
- 10:0916 ounces, and then they kind of bump
- 10:12it down to 14 ounces or less.
- 10:15You might get 11 ounces where before, and
- 10:17people started to notice this because they were
- 10:20like, wait a second, this doesn't seem like
- 10:22the same portions that I used to get.
- 10:24That's because it's not.
- 10:26The portion sizes have been diminished to try
- 10:29to keep, I guess keep the cost down,
- 10:32but I think it's really deceptive.
- 10:36But it's all this garbage that we eat.
- 10:39And people spend, we just spent for a
- 10:42family of five, we just spent over $30
- 10:45just this week on groceries for one week
- 10:47of groceries.
- 10:52You know, it it and it was, to
- 10:54be fair, that was kind of a pretty
- 10:56expensive week.
- 10:58Typically, it's not that expensive, but it is
- 11:00pricey.
- 11:03It's it's very, very pricey, especially when you're
- 11:07eating all of this garbage.
- 11:12So this is what's wild to me is
- 11:14that even though we just got caught in
- 11:16these bad habits, I get it.
- 11:18I understand that.
- 11:20But when it comes to your health, as
- 11:23Americans, we take a pretty peculiar view because
- 11:26we demand that doctors treat us for everything.
- 11:30We we want like that instant treatment, and
- 11:32we want to live forever.
- 11:35Right?
- 11:36In America, look at the Botox movement.
- 11:38We want to look younger, we want to
- 11:40feel younger, we want to do all this
- 11:42stuff, but without any of the work.
- 11:46And I feel like we make it, we
- 11:50make it so much harder for ourselves because
- 11:53we're buying more expensive food that's more processed,
- 11:57much worse for our health.
- 12:00It makes us lethargic, it gives us brain
- 12:02fog.
- 12:03We're lacking vitamins and minerals constantly.
- 12:06That puts us in a bad state of
- 12:07mind.
- 12:08That can cause, it can actually cause depression.
- 12:12When you're mineral deficient, it really puts you
- 12:16in a bad place mentally.
- 12:20It puts you in a bad brain fog,
- 12:21it makes you feel bad, you feel bad
- 12:23about yourself, you gain weight, you can't keep
- 12:25the weight off if even if you lose
- 12:27it, and on and on and on the
- 12:29cycle goes.
- 12:30That's very expensive.
- 12:32And so RFK Jr.
- 12:34is literally given the blueprint.
- 12:38He's telling people look, here's not necessarily quote
- 12:42unquote the way, but it certainly is a
- 12:45viable option, and it's very affordable.
- 12:50If people move to these kinds of meats,
- 12:53it's incredibly affordable.
- 12:57But people don't want to do it.
- 12:59They protest, they they dig their heels in.
- 13:01They'd rather point fingers at him and say,
- 13:03oh, he's not a doctor.
- 13:05He he doesn't know what he's talking about.
- 13:09Right?
- 13:09They'd rather point fingers than actually look at
- 13:11the research.
- 13:13No, RFK Jr.
- 13:15is not a doctor.
- 13:18He's not.
- 13:19That's true.
- 13:21But he does do his homework.
- 13:24And I'm going to read you some of
- 13:25this.
- 13:26I'll read some now, and then of course,
- 13:28after the break, I'll read some more.
- 13:30But this is on Health Line, and there
- 13:32are lots of these articles.
- 13:34I mean, I literally, I just did a
- 13:36super quick search, and it's not that hard
- 13:37to do.
- 13:39You don't have to be a genius to
- 13:40look this stuff up.
- 13:43I did a quick search, and there are
- 13:45a lot of very credible articles.
- 13:49A lot of credible articles that talk about
- 13:51the benefits.
- 13:53So this article, are organ meats healthy?
- 13:57Oregon meats used to be a common food
- 13:59in mainstream U.S.
- 14:00In mainstream US diets.
- 14:01diets.
- 14:02You know, here's the irony in this.
- 14:02You know, here's the irony in this.
- 14:04A lot of the top end rush restaurants
- 14:04A lot of the top end restaurants are
- 14:06now doing organ meats.
- 14:06are now doing organ meats.
- 14:08So, like all the stuff that used to
- 14:08So, like all the stuff that used to
- 14:10be really healthy and it used to be
- 14:11be really healthy and it used to be
- 14:12really fantastic.
- 14:13really fantastic, and it's super cheap.
- 14:14And it's super cheap.
- 14:17Like these these high end restaurants are brilliant.
- 14:17Like these high-end restaurants are brilliant.
- 14:20They're geniuses.
- 14:20They're geniuses.
- 14:23Because they market this stuff rightfully.
- 14:23Because they market this stuff rightfully.
- 14:25You know, it's not false marketing.
- 14:25You know, it's not false marketing.
- 14:27I actually commend them.
- 14:27I actually commend them.
- 14:28I'm not being sarcastic.
- 14:28I'm not being sarcastic here.
- 14:31I think it's a genius way to market
- 14:32this.
- 14:34And they start selling this kind of stuff,
- 14:36and it tastes good.
- 14:39It's incredibly healthy.
- 14:41One of the most healthy things that you
- 14:43could possibly put into your mouth.
- 14:46And the high-end restaurants, it costs them a
- 14:49fraction to actually purchase this.
- 14:54And you can find it everywhere.
- 14:57Like it's it's now the organ, the the
- 15:00organs, the offals, they're like stores are desperate
- 15:03to get rid of them.
- 15:07Which is partly why they're so cheap because
- 15:08nobody's buying them.
- 15:12So they sell them and they sell them
- 15:14in a premium because it's a high-end restaurant.
- 15:18And their profit margin margin is incredible.
- 15:21It's phenomenal.
- 15:23And I just love that.
- 15:24I love that people are marketing this kind
- 15:26of stuff.
- 15:27And it's like all the people eating at
- 15:29the fancy expensive restaurants, like they're genuinely eating
- 15:32healthy.
- 15:35They're paying out the ear nose for it,
- 15:37but yeah, who cares?
- 15:38I mean, if if you're going there anyway
- 15:41to a high end restaurant, what's it matter?
- 15:43Like, obviously, price is not an issue, but
- 15:46they're getting all the health benefits.
- 15:49I think it's fantastic.
- 15:51But you can do this stuff at home,
- 15:53and that's what RFK Jr.
- 15:54is saying.
- 15:55Like, you can literally buy this stuff for
- 15:56for dirt cheap.
- 15:58Get yourself healthy.
- 16:03And it costs a fraction of what you're
- 16:05spending on all this processed garbage.
- 16:09I think it's fantastic.
- 16:10I think it's great.
- 16:11I'll read more about this after the break,
- 16:12but I do want to talk about.
- 16:14All right, listen.
- 16:16Some people don't like the taste of offals.
- 16:20They don't like to, or just the thought
- 16:21of eating organs.
- 16:23Okay, great.
- 16:24Fine.

- 19:03years.
- 19:08America Outloud Doc News is that place to
- 19:11awaken your heart, soul, and mind to the
- 19:14all-block truth.
- 19:24Why is it that Americans are rejecting the
- 19:26very prescription that's put right in front of
- 19:29us by the whole make America Healthy Again
- 19:31movement?
- 19:34Is it because it's linked to Donald Trump?
- 19:38Are we really that stubborn?
- 19:41That we're gonna say, well, because it's him,
- 19:44it's linked to his administration.
- 19:47We're gonna have nothing to do with it.
- 19:49It must be fake, it must be false,
- 19:51it must be stupid, it must be dumb.
- 19:54It's that's beneath us.
- 19:57Is that what it is?
- 19:58I suspect with a lot of people that's
- 19:59what it is.
- 20:01I think for other people, they just don't
- 20:03know, they don't want to know.
- 20:06People like to live in a state of
- 20:09ignorance, ignorance is bliss, after all, except that
- 20:12it isn't.
- 20:15Because it's really costing people not just monetarily,
- 20:19but it's costing people their lives literally.
- 20:25Before the break, I was talking about the
- 20:27chronic gut issues.
- 20:29That's just the gut issues.
- 20:30That's not that that's not related to uh
- 20:32to weight.
- 20:34Well, it is, but it it's not directly
- 20:37uh it's just one of many issues that
- 20:40comes with bad eating, bad eating habits, eating
- 20:44junk food, eating processed foods, but it's the
- 20:47chronic gut issues, in addition to the heart
- 20:50issues, the kidney issues, all your major organs,
- 20:53the weight issues.
- 20:58We are an obese nation.
- 21:01America is very overweight, America's very unhealthy.
- 21:01America is very overweight.
- 21:05America is very unhealthy.
- 21:09We have a lot, a lot of health
- 21:09We have a lot, a lot of health
- 21:11issues that other nations just don't have.
- 21:11issues that other nations just don't have.
- 21:14And it's precisely because of the way that
- 21:14And it's precisely because of the way that
- 21:16we eat.
- 21:16we eat.
- 21:17But the gut issues are literally killing Americans.
- 21:17But the gut issues are literally killing Americans.
- 21:22They've reached crisis levels in America.
- 21:22They've reached crisis levels in America, they affect
- 21:24They affect 60 to 70 million people annually.
- 21:2560 to 70 million people annually,
- 21:30The disorders are a leading cause of morbidity.
- 21:3440% of Americans report that digestive issues disrupt
- 21:36their daily lives.
- 21:40Can't make it through the workday without hitting
- 21:42the hitting the uh the loo.
- 21:47And sometimes multiple times, and spending a lot
- 21:49of time in there.
- 21:51Now, all right, listen, I don't like, I
- 21:54don't like to talk about our our gut
- 21:56issues because it's just it's kind of gross
- 21:58and it's taboo, like we don't really talk
- 22:01about these kinds of things.
- 22:03But it's the elephant in the room.
- 22:06And I think that we need to talk
- 22:07about it.
- 22:08If we're really going to get healthy again,
- 22:10and personally, it's not healthy for the sake
- 22:12of just looking like you're healthy.
- 22:16But it's because I feel like we as
- 22:17Americans, we have such incredible freedom in this
- 22:19nation.
- 22:21I I can't overestimate or overstate how important
- 22:25it is that we live in such a
- 22:29blessed nation where we have so much freedom.
- 22:33And I feel like we're misusing our freedom.
- 22:37I feel like we're letting so much opportunity
- 22:39pass us by.
- 22:41We're the wealthiest nation in the world, or
- 22:43at least we're right up there.
- 22:46We're one of the wealthiest.
- 22:49We have a strong economy.
- 22:52We have tremendous freedom like no other nation
- 22:56on planet earth has incredible freedom that's grafted
- 23:01into the Constitution of the United States.
- 23:06It can't be taken away from us.
- 23:10We have freedom of religion.
- 23:13I pray that prayer every Sunday at church.
- 23:17I thank God that we live in a
- 23:19nation where we have the freedom to assemble
- 23:21and worship anytime that we want, anywhere that
- 23:23we want.
- 23:26I don't ever want to take that for
- 23:27granted.
- 23:31And we have the freedom to live in
- 23:34a nation that's there's such an abundance, there
- 23:37is a gross abundance of food.
- 23:40There is more food in this nation than
- 23:42we ever know what to do with.
- 23:46And yet, we still have starving people.
- 23:52We have people who are incredibly unhealthy.
- 23:57In fact, half of America, at least half,
- 24:01dependent on what diseases we're talking about.
- 24:05Over half of Americans for some diseases, we're
- 24:08chronically sick.
- 24:12And I feel like we're squandering that freedom.
- 24:15We have the freedom to be able to
- 24:16research.
- 24:19You know, the government doesn't, they don't restrict
- 24:22our internet access to be able to research
- 24:24what it is to get healthy.
- 24:27How do you get healthy?
- 24:29They don't restrict that stuff for us.
- 24:31And so we're we're squandering this freedom that
- 24:33we have.
- 24:35And then we put the answer right in
- 24:37front of your face.
- 24:39RFK Jr.
- 24:40literally, I want to read you an article
- 24:42that uh that where he talked about this
- 24:44back in February of this year.
- 24:48And Americans are turning their noses up at
- 24:50that, like, oh, he doesn't know what he's
- 24:52talking about, or uh, yuck, ooh, I don't
- 24:54want to eat that food.
- 24:56And we come up with all these excuses,
- 24:58and then we cry that we're unhealthy.
- 25:02We're like, oh no, uh.
- 25:05Why are we so unhealthy?
- 25:08Must be the doctors.
- 25:09It must be lack of access to health
- 25:10care.
- 25:11Health care is too expensive.
- 25:14I've got news for you.
- 25:16Your health insurance doesn't make you healthy.
- 25:22It's not your health insurance rates that's causing
- 25:25irritable bowel syndrome.
- 25:29Now, I want to read some of these
- 25:30statistics here because I think that we need
- 25:32to raise the alarm.
- 25:34We need to sound that alarm here in
- 25:36America.
- 25:37We need to warn people.
- 25:40All right, younger adults.
- 25:42Contrary to just being an older age issue,
- 25:4573% of adults.
- 25:4973% ages 18 to 44 experience GI symptoms
- 25:53at least a few times a month.
- 25:58With many reporting lowered self-esteem and reduced quality
- 26:01of life.
- 26:0573%.
- 26:08That's three quarters of Americans.
- 26:12Three quarters of adults age 18 to 44
- 26:16experience GI symptoms several times a month.
- 26:22Reporting lower self-esteem, reduced quality of life.
- 26:26There's a rising severity here in America.
- 26:30Irritable bound syndrome, IBS.
- 26:32The rates doubled from 2020 to 22.
- 26:38Now, if you ask me, I think a
- 26:40lot of this is linked to that crap
- 26:42that was in those stupid shots that they
- 26:44forced Americans to have.
- 26:48I took one of those dumb shots and
- 26:50I I regret it.
- 26:52I started having inflammation that I never had
- 26:55inflammation issues with my joints and uh just
- 26:58shortness of breath and those sorts of things.
- 27:02I never had issues before.
- 27:04And it was instant.
- 27:05It was like the minute I took a
- 27:07COVID shot.
- 27:09And I know a lot of people who've
- 27:12had issues, but the IBS rates doubled from
- 27:142020 to 22, rising from 6% to 11%
- 27:17among U.S.
- 27:20adults.
- 27:22They say, well, it's a surge linked to
- 27:26pandemic stress and potential COVID-19 long-term effects.
- 27:30Ah, there you go.
- 27:35COVID long, COVID-19 long-term effects.
- 27:40All right, what about the economic burner?
- 27:42Let's just talk about what effect that has
- 27:45on the United States economy, the way that
- 27:48we eat, the way that we're always bloated,
- 27:50the way that we have chronic constipation, loss
- 27:53of work, low self-esteem, on and on and
- 27:56on it goes.
- 28:00Gastrointestinal diseases cost the United States healthcare system
- 28:00Gastrointestinal diseases cost the United States healthcare system
- 28:05over 136 billion dollars annually.
- 28:06over 136 billion dollars annually 136 billion dollars
- 28:11just from gastrointestinal diseases that is this is
- 28:12136 billion dollars just from gastrointestinal diseases.
- 28:17the definition of insanity that surpasses the cost
- 28:19That is this is the definition of insanity.
- 28:23of heart disease, which is 113 billion annually,
- 28:25That surpasses the cost of heart disease, which
- 28:27is
- 28:29and mental health disorders, which costs 99 billion
- 28:34dollars annually.
- 28:42Digestive diseases result in over 236,000 to 472,000
- 28:47deaths annually in the United States.
- 28:54I mean, are you hearing these numbers?
- 28:59And that's why I say we deserve, as
- 29:01Americans, we deserve to be healthy.
- 29:06We live in a free country.
- 29:09And wouldn't you think that we would take
- 29:11advantage and be like, all right, hey, they're
- 29:13literally giving us the blueprint here.
- 29:15RFK Jr., you could hate his guts for
- 29:17all I know for all I care.
- 29:21Right?
- 29:22There's some people who they just, for whatever
- 29:25reason, they have hatred in their heart, and
- 29:28they they just that's all they know.
- 29:32Okay, great, fine.
- 29:34You want to be a hater?
- 29:36I think it's terrible.
- 29:37I think it makes you a terrible person,
- 29:40but you could at least be a healthy
- 29:44terrible person if you listened to the advice
- 29:47of somebody who knows what they're talking about.
- 29:52You know, that's a thing.
- 29:53There are a lot of people who I'm
- 29:56not particularly fans of certain people.
- 29:59But if they're saying something that makes sense
- 30:02and and there's research that backs it, I'll
- 30:04listen all day long.
- 30:06I'll pull up a chair, I will sit
- 30:08at the feet of somebody who I radically
- 30:10disagree with on policy and everything else.
- 30:13I will literally sit up, sit at the
- 30:15feet of somebody, I'll pull up a chair
- 30:17and I'll listen if it's going to improve
- 30:20my life or the life of my loved
- 30:22ones, the people around me.
- 30:26You know, sometimes we have to get beyond
- 30:28our ego and realize that some people really
- 30:31do have really good advice.
- 30:34So I want to go back to this
- 30:36article, speaking of the advice.
- 30:37I'm going to go back to this.
- 30:40RFK Jr.
- 30:42Back in February.
- 30:45He suggested that people eat liver or quote,
- 30:47cheap cuts in response to the high cost
- 30:50of beef.
- 30:53People are complaining, and beef is really expensive.
- 30:55The cost of beef has gotten insane here
- 30:57in America.
- 31:00It has skyrocketed, which is good for beef
- 31:02farmers.
- 31:05I have friends who are beef farmers.
- 31:06It's good for them.
- 31:09And beef has not kept up with inflation,
- 31:12so it's finally starting to keep up.
- 31:16Where beef farmers can actually make a living.
- 31:21All right, so uh beef prices are going
- 31:23to do what beef prices do.
- 31:26To RFK Jr.
- 31:28said, hey, people could eat liver or cheap
- 31:30cuts and instead of spending all this money,
- 31:33outrageous money on beef.
- 31:38So he said this is true all over
- 31:39the country.
- 31:41There's a lot of good food in grocery
- 31:43stores that goes away.
- 31:46By goes away, I think he means it
- 31:48gets thrown out.
- 31:51Right.
- 31:52Uh it gets thrown out.
- 31:54People don't eat it.
- 31:56They have to throw it out.
- 31:59RFK Jr.
- 32:00went on to say most of the cheap
- 32:02cuts of meat are very inexpensive.
- 32:06Right.
- 32:07He's right.
- 32:10Uh he said if you buy, you know,
- 32:12a porter house steak, it's going to, it's
- 32:15going to take you back.
- 32:17You can buy liver or the cheaper cuts
- 32:20of steak that are very affordable.
- 32:24He's not wrong.
- 32:27The cost of red meat has shot up
- 32:28over the year.
- 32:29The average cost of a pound just of
- 32:32ground beef, which is, if you know your
- 32:34cuts of meat, ground beef is basically the
- 32:36the garbage leftover.
- 32:38They just grind it up.
- 32:40It went from $5.54 a pound to $6.75
- 32:44between January 25 and January of 26.
- 32:49It's the highest cost on record, despite a
- 32:52statement by President Trump in a State of
- 32:55the Union address that the price of beef
- 32:57is falling.
- 33:00That's 100% false.
- 33:03It's not falling, and President Trump knew that.
- 33:10Most likely.
- 33:41We either throw it out or we ship
- 33:43it overseas.
- 33:47Earlier this month, this is the hill.
- 33:50This is back in February.
- 33:52Earlier this month, the Trump administration struck a
- 33:55deal to allow an additional 80,000 tons of
- 33:58beef from Argentina to enter the U.S.
- 34:01market.
- 34:03The deal was opposed by the main group
- 34:04representing U.S.
- 34:06cattle ranchers, as well as a number of
- 34:08GOP lawmakers.
- 34:10I'm opposed to it as well.
- 34:11I think that's a terrible idea.
- 34:15Importing beef from Argentina.
- 34:19You know, that's part of the problem.
- 34:21It's it's our farmers deserve better than this.
- 34:27We have enough beef here in the United
- 34:29States.
- 34:30And I think the idea was to flood
- 34:32the market with cheap overseas beef, and that
- 34:34would drive the cost down or superficially keep
- 34:36the cost down.
- 34:39Well, there are other ways.
- 34:41And RFK Jr.
- 34:43is right.
- 34:44Eating the organ meats, it's a great alternative,
- 34:47and it's super healthy.
- 34:51So I'm going to go back to uh
- 34:53I was reading from Healthline, talking about the
- 34:55health benefits of this.
- 34:58All right, so there are different types.
- 35:00Different types.
- 35:00Let's talk about different types.
- 35:00Let's talk about different types.
- 35:01There's the liver, uh, the tongue, the heart,
- 35:01There's the liver, uh, the tongue, the heart,
- 35:04the kidneys, the brain, sweetbreads.
- 35:04the kidneys, the brain, sweetbreads.
- 35:08Uh that kind of has a deceiving name.
- 35:08Uh that kind of has a deceiving name.
- 35:12Sweetbreads are made from the pancreat pancreas and
- 35:12Sweetbreads are made from the pancreat pancreas and
- 35:15thymus gland.
- 35:15thymus gland.
- 35:20There's the tripe, which is the lining of
- 35:20There's the tripe, which is the lining of
- 35:23an animal stomach, testicles, and intestines.
- 35:23an animal stomach, testicles, and intestines.
- 35:27Believe it or not, all of that is
- 35:27Believe it or not, all of that is
- 35:28one.
- 35:29100% edible.
- 35:33Now, I'm not suggesting that we start eating
- 35:35intestines and things like that.
- 35:37Because you know, some of these things I'm
- 35:39just not I'd I'd rather eat my own
- 35:41my own store bought meat.
- 35:44Or a wild game.
- 35:47All right.
- 35:48So we don't necessarily like eating some of
- 35:49these things, but but some people do, and
- 35:51it's a it's an acquired taste, but it's
- 35:53super cheap.
- 35:55And you can mix it in with your
- 35:58other foods to where you don't taste it.
- 36:02All right, but uh here's an example a
- 36:063.5 ounce portion of cooked beef liver provides
- 36:10191 calories, 29 grams of protein.
- 36:17It provides 2,715% of the daily value of
- 36:22your vitamin B12, 1,588% of the daily value
- 36:27of copper, 1,000 48% of your daily value
- 36:32of vitamin A, 263% of your daily value
- 36:37of riboflavin, niacin, 109% of your daily value,
- 36:42vitamin B6, 60% of your daily value, zinc
- 36:4748%, iron 36%.
- 36:54It is very, very healthy.
- 36:56So speaking of healthy, we're coming up on
- 36:57a break here.
- 36:58I want to mention again the wellness farms
- 37:01because while we're on the topic, I have
- 37:03in my hand the bison trifecta, which is
- 37:06regenerative freeze-dried liver, heart, and kidney.
- 37:08It is wonderful, it's fantastic, just chalk full
- 37:12of vitamins and minerals without the taste.

- 38:59Make America healthy again.
- 39:02We have got to get our health under
- 39:04control here in America.
- 39:06And the solution is actually pretty easy.
- 39:08And that's what I love.
- 39:09That's the hidden lightness.
- 39:11That's what's great about this.
- 39:12RFK Jr.
- 39:13literally is given us the solution, and it's
- 39:16not that far out of each.
- 39:19And yet, people are turning their noses up
- 39:21at it, and that just the idea of
- 39:24eating uh organ, it's called the offals, uh,
- 39:27eating organs of animals.
- 39:30People are like, oh no, that's that's disgusting,
- 39:32or cheaper cuts of meat.
- 39:34Or eating meat in general, right?
- 39:36We have all these the the people who
- 39:38are like pro-vegan everything, they don't want to
- 39:40touch anything with meat, and they talk about
- 39:43how inhumane it is.
- 39:45Well, uh it's interesting term because they're animals,
- 39:47but they talk about how cruel that is
- 39:49to animal, it's the animal cruelty and this
- 39:51and that.
- 39:54But what they don't realize is that by
- 39:58not harvesting animals, we get an overpopulation that
- 40:02just it's really cruel to animals.
- 40:08We're struggling with that here in Pennsylvania.
- 40:10We have a an overpopulation of deer because
- 40:14we don't have enough hunters anymore.
- 40:17It's unfortunately the number of hunters have declined.
- 40:22In fact, I'll read some statistics here in
- 40:24a minute, but we have a deep freezer
- 40:26full of deer meat.
- 40:29It was given to us by friend.
- 40:30I I'm not a hunter, I've never been
- 40:32a hunter, but I have no problem with
- 40:33it.
- 40:35It's just that it's just never been an
- 40:37interest of mine.
- 40:41But I have friends who hunt, and in
- 40:43Pennsylvania, we have a major, a severe overpopulation
- 40:46of deer.
- 40:49Severe.
- 40:51And so I uh every year we're given
- 40:55meat, and I happily take it, and it
- 40:58is so incredibly healthy, unbelievably healthy, very low
- 41:02in fat, uh, very, very high in protein,
- 41:05all kinds of other vitamins, minerals, things like
- 41:09that.
- 41:13And and it's not that hard to eat
- 41:15healthy, but a lot of people don't want
- 41:16to do it.
- 41:19They just they don't want to take the
- 41:20time, they don't want to, they don't want
- 41:21to research it, they don't want to hear
- 41:23about it.
- 41:24They just want to accept the fact that
- 41:26well, uh, I'm just unhealthy, and that's just
- 41:28the way it is.
- 41:31I guess I have bad genes or whatever
- 41:32it is.
- 41:34It's like, no, you most of the time,
- 41:38you're eating really poorly.
- 41:42All right, so here's the problem in Pennsylvania.
- 41:44It's as I mentioned, it's a severe white-tailed
- 41:46deer overpopulation.
- 41:49We have an estimated 1.5 million deer statewide.
- 41:52That's 32 per square mile.
- 41:5632 deer per square mile.
- 41:58This overabundance is exceeding ecological carrying capacity.
- 42:00Is exceeding ecological carrying capacity.
- 42:04It's damaging forest understories.
- 42:04It's damaging forest understories.
- 42:08They're they're having a hard time finding food,
- 42:09They're having a hard time finding food, so
- 42:10so that's what happens.
- 42:11that's what happens.
- 42:14I know that I've had gardens destroyed.
- 42:14I know that I've had gardens destroyed.
- 42:19Trees, they begin to eat trees, little saplings,
- 42:19Trees, they begin to eat trees, little saplings,
- 42:22they'll strip bark off of trees.
- 42:22they'll strip bark off of trees.
- 42:24I mean, they they they they run out
- 42:24I mean, they run out of food.
- 42:25of food.
- 42:27It disrupts ecosystems.
- 42:27It disrupts ecosystems, increases car collisions.
- 42:3350,000 annually, causes significant agricultural and residential damage.
- 42:41Yeah, the high densities prevent forest regeneration.
- 42:48People talk about being tree huggers and all
- 42:51the damage that we're doing as humans.
- 42:55You hear that all the time.
- 42:56Humans are humans are damaging the forest, and
- 42:58people protest, and they walk in the woods
- 43:01and form human chains so that loggers can't
- 43:04log trees.
- 43:08And meanwhile, they're sporting their vegan bumper stickers.
- 43:13But the worst thing for the forest is
- 43:15not hunting deer.
- 43:19They prevent forest regeneration by browsing seedlings and
- 43:23saplings.
- 43:28That reduces the habitat for other species with
- 43:31bird diversity decreasing by up to 37% in
- 43:35high density areas.
- 43:39That's high deer density areas.
- 43:43Bird diversity decreases 37%.
- 43:49This is sad.
- 43:50This is it, it's it's terrible.
- 43:52Birds are going extinct because of deer.
- 43:56Or they're they're migrating to other areas.
- 44:00We have management challenges.
- 44:01The Pennsylvania Great Game Commission manages populations primarily
- 44:04through hunting.
- 44:08But as hunter participation decreases, the Pennsylvania Game
- 44:12Commission faces challenges in controlling the population.
- 44:19The deer population can double every two to
- 44:21three years.
- 44:26In two years, we can have three million
- 44:28deer statewide.
- 44:31We could double that population.
- 44:37Do you know how much meat that is?
- 44:39Free meat are cheap, super cheap.
- 44:43If you learn to process your own meat,
- 44:46it is unbelievably cheap.
- 44:50Now, I don't know about that.
- 44:52It takes a lot of time and effort
- 44:54and things like that, but uh I prefer
- 44:56to take my meat to a butcher.
- 44:59I have no problem with that.
- 45:01I enjoy paying.
- 45:02It doesn't bother me one little bit.
- 45:05I'm happy to do it, but it also
- 45:07keeps butchers in business.
- 45:10We have a shortage of butchers.
- 45:12That's another thing.
- 45:14I talk about the economy and how there
- 45:16are seven million jobs that are vacant right
- 45:18now.
- 45:20One of the top jobs that we're absolutely
- 45:23desperate for people for is butchers.
- 45:26We don't have enough butchers.
- 45:29I mean, not even close.
- 45:32So we have this growing problem, and it's
- 45:34compounding.
- 45:36And so we're into like the super processed
- 45:38foods.
- 45:40We just want the foods done.
- 45:41We we want to be able to walk
- 45:44into a grocery store, slap some money down,
- 45:46grab it, complain about how bad it tastes
- 45:49and how awful it is, get chronically inflamed,
- 45:52have bowel issues, die from all kinds of
- 45:54diseases, and then point fingers at RFK Jr.
- 45:57as we're breathing our last breath, saying, you
- 45:59idiot, you don't know what you're talking about,
- 46:00you're not a doctor.
- 46:02It's such a messed up system.
- 46:05But the great news in all this is
- 46:07that there's a fix to it.
- 46:10And it's a simple fix, it's an easy
- 46:12fix, it's a cheap fix.
- 46:15And if we just reach out, if we
- 46:18just reach out a little bit and talk
- 46:21to people, interact with people, yeah, learn a
- 46:25little bit.
- 46:29All of this can be fixed.
- 46:34All of it can be fixed.
- 46:37And as I mentioned, a lot of people
- 46:40don't want to do it.
- 46:43It's too hard, it's too confusing, it's too
- 46:45expensive.
- 46:48Whatever the myths are, we've got to move
- 46:51beyond those myths and reside in the realm
- 46:54of fact.
- 46:58The fact is that offals, the the organs,
- 47:01the organ uh, I call them meats, but
- 47:05they're they're not really meats because they're organs,
- 47:09but the offals are super cheap.
- 47:14Superfoods.
- 47:16And if you don't like the taste of
- 47:17it, if you don't like doing that, look
- 47:19at the wellness farms.
- 47:21We literally have as one of our sponsors,
- 47:23the wellness farms.
- 47:26That's one of the things that uh whenever
- 47:29I got to I got to uh hear
- 47:32from the wellness farms, and they were talking
- 47:35about uh they were talking about their products,
- 47:38and I I was like, man, I gotta
- 47:40try the try the bison trifecta.
- 47:45It's so cheap.
- 47:48It is literally, it's it's a dietary supplement
- 47:50for people who don't like the taste.
- 47:53If you don't like the taste of organs,
- 47:54great.
- 47:57But you ought to see.
- 47:58Um I'm looking at the supplement facts right
- 47:59now.
- 48:00I'm literally holding this in my hand.
- 48:02I swear by this stuff.
- 48:06The bison trifecta, it's in capsules.
- 48:11Freeze-dried, ground up into powder, you just swallow
- 48:13the capsules.
- 48:18It is absolutely chalk full.
- 48:20I feel so incredibly healthy, so good.
- 48:25Uh, I swear by it.
- 48:28And if you don't like that, if you
- 48:30want to do the real thing, if you
- 48:31want to, if you like to cook and
- 48:33like to cook things up, go for it.
- 48:35It's so incredibly healthy.
- 48:37I was I was pointing to this article
- 48:39a few times, and I will link to
- 48:40it in the show notes.
- 48:43But it's on Healthline, Healthline.com, and it's talking
- 48:46about the benefits of organ meats.
- 48:51All right, it helps retain muscle mass.
- 48:55It keeps you fuller longer.
- 48:58It's an excellent source of iron, which we
- 49:00Of iron, which we need to survive.
- 49:01need to survive.
- 49:04You ever hear of iron deficiencies?
- 49:04You ever hear of iron deficiencies?
- 49:07A lot of people who take pills because
- 49:07A lot of people who take pills because
- 49:09they're iron deficient.
- 49:09they're iron deficient.
- 49:11Prescriptions.
- 49:11Prescriptions.
- 49:12They have to go to a doctor, get
- 49:12They have to go to a doctor, get
- 49:15prescriptions, go to the pharmacy, sit there in
- 49:15prescriptions, go to the pharmacy, sit there in
- 49:17line.
- 49:17line.
- 49:19You know how pharmacies work.
- 49:19You know how pharmacies work.
- 49:21Ugh.
- 49:21Ugh.
- 49:23It's terrible.
- 49:23It's terrible.
- 49:26They're kind of one of my nemesis.
- 49:26They're kind of one of my nemesis.
- 49:28Go into the
- 49:28Go into the pharmacy.
- 49:32But the organs are high.
- 49:36High in iron.
- 49:39Great source of choline.
- 49:43It's an essential nutrient for brain, muscle, and
- 49:46liver health.
- 49:48That many people, most people, in fact, don't
- 49:50get enough of.
- 49:53Another benefit, less expensive cuts, and reduced waste.
- 49:59Oregon meets can be found at a bargain
- 50:01price.
- 50:04Super, super cheat.
- 50:09Man, what a super food.
- 50:12All right, drawbacks.
- 50:14Let's look at some of the drawbacks.
- 50:16We got to show both sides of that
- 50:17coin.
- 50:18There aren't many.
- 50:21People with gout need to moderate their intake.
- 50:27All right.
- 50:29Vitamin A and pregnancy.
- 50:32Oregon meats are incredibly rich sources of vitamin
- 50:34A.
- 50:37During pregnancy, vitamin A plays an essential role
- 50:39in fetal growth and development.
- 50:44Liver is recommended by the American College of
- 50:47Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
- 50:50And while it's recommended, taking too much is
- 50:53not recommended.
- 50:56So that's one of the downsides.
- 50:59All right.
- 51:00Concerns about mad cow disease.
- 51:03That was kind of a thing of the
- 51:04thing of the past.
- 51:06Back in the 90s, if you remember the
- 51:10mad cow disease outbreak, that's not really not
- 51:14really a big thing right now.
- 51:19And that's really it.
- 51:20Those are the downsides.
- 51:22Everything else is a plus plus plus.
- 51:24So once again, RFK Jr.
- 51:27is exactly correct.
- 51:29He's right.
- 51:30And if you're concerned with the health issues,
- 51:34the taste, uh, undercooking, overcooking, whatever it is,
- 51:38then go with the wellness farms bison trifecta,
- 51:42as I do.
- 51:46That's fantastic.
- 51:47But I man, I really want Americans to
- 51:50understand that we're taking so much for granted
- 51:52with our health.
- 51:56And it's really, really, really not difficult whatsoever
- 51:58to get healthy again.
- 52:02The steps are right in front of us.
- 52:06And it's cheap.
- 52:08Super cheap to get healthy.
- 52:11And yet you'll hear people repeat these myths.
- 52:14Well, it's too expensive.
- 52:16I have to eat I have to eat
- 52:19organic, and organic's too expensive.
- 52:22I can't make my own food.
- 52:26I can't, I don't have time to cook.
- 52:28I can only do fast food.
- 52:30On and on and on it goes.
- 52:34I've heard people say that, and I'm like,
- 52:35what?
- 52:36Do you know what's in it?
- 52:38Like, I'll eat it every once in a
- 52:39blue moon.
- 52:41But do you realize what's in fast food?
- 52:44If you're eating that as your regular meal
- 52:47instead of just a I want to get
- 52:49by, or I'm busy, or I'm on a
- 52:51road trip, or whatever it is, if you're
- 52:53eating fast food as your regular food, first
- 52:56of all, it's gonna bankrupt you.
- 52:58The amount of costs that's associated with fast
- 53:00food is unbelievable.
- 53:02But then what it does to your system.
- 53:08Warning, warning, warning.
- 53:11So we're living in incredible times, and I
- 53:13am hopeful that people are gonna start to
- 53:15get it.
- 53:18I think it's gonna be one of those
- 53:19things that we have to repeat over and
- 53:21over and over again.
- 53:22And maybe if if another administration other than
- 53:25the Trump administration comes to office and they
- 53:28pick up the baton and they talk about
- 53:31health and what it is to be healthy,
- 53:34maybe people will listen.
- 53:37I don't know.
- 53:38Maybe I'm just naive.
- 53:40Maybe I'm being too hopeful.
- 53:43But the answer, the solution, the path to
- 53:46being healthy is really not that long, and
- 53:50it's really not that complicated.
- 53:54But we have to begin somewhere.
- 53:59We have to do it.
- 54:02We have to look to what the solutions
- 54:05are and start walking that path.
- 54:10Because I got it, I gotta tell you
- 54:12the alternative, it's not very good.
- 54:16And too many kids are growing up without
- 54:17parents.
- 54:18And that's what breaks my heart too.
- 54:22Way too many kids are growing up without
- 54:23parents.
- 54:27Because they pass away from bad health.
- 54:32I think we live in a time where
- 54:33we can't say, well, I didn't know any
- 54:35better.
- 54:36I didn't know.
- 54:39If you don't know, then learn.
- 54:43Start to do research.
- 54:46It's literally free.
- 54:48It costs nothing but a little bit of
- 54:49time.
- 54:52Rather than doom scrolling on Facebook or whatever
- 54:55it is, start researching.
- 54:59Start looking for answers.
- 55:05I I pray that people get healthy.
- 55:10I pray that America gets healthy again.
- 55:13I fear for our nation sometimes.
- 55:17It breaks my heart that 40% of people
- 55:21are reporting disrupted days because of bowel issues
- 55:24of all things.
- 55:29Folks, that's not normal.
- 55:32That really is not normal.
- 55:35Unless you have some kind of a bug,
- 55:40a virus, it's not normal to have your
- 55:44day disrupted with constipation, diarrhea, chronic inflammation issues,
- 55:48having gluten allergies and all this stuff.
- 55:52It's not normal.
- 55:56So I really, really hope and pray that
- 55:58America does get healthy again.
- 56:01We really deserve to be in a good
- 56:01We really deserve to be in a good
