44. Morning Meditation | Pure Heart & Peaceful Mind (Matthew 5:8)
Matthew 5:8 is one of the Beatitudes from Jesus' Sermon on the Mount in the Bible. It reads: [1]"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." [1]Meaning and Significance
"Pure in Heart": In ancient Greek, this implies inward moral purity and a single, undivided focus. It refers to sincerity and complete devotion to God, rather than simply following an outward set of rules or rituals.
"See God": This promises a deep, spiritual intimacy and awareness of God's presence both in this life and in the afterlife. [1, 2, 3]
