- 0:09Speaker 1: So normally i see like actual video type movies you
- 0:14Speaker 1: know actually sometimes it is vhs tapes if i'm going
- 0:17Speaker 1: old school this uh movie threat i actually saw a
- 0:21Speaker 1: poster this was a one sheet sitting in a some
- 0:25Speaker 1: sort of second handy place and usually it's Usually you
- 0:30Speaker 1: don't even see movie posters out there because people aren't
- 0:32Speaker 1: that big a geek.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Only at my house.
- 0:34Speaker 1: But this was on a piece of cardboard wrapped in plastic.
- 0:38Speaker 3: I was like, that's awesome. And how am I not
- 0:41Speaker 3: already familiar with this? So I came across Crocodile.
- 0:46Speaker 4: Oh.
- 0:48Speaker 5: That's a huge crocodile.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Seems explanatory.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Then I was like, again, as a person who is
- 0:54Speaker 1: a huge fan of Alligator... which is a classic as
- 0:58Speaker 1: far as I'm concerned. I was like, oh, some sort
- 1:01Speaker 1: of knockoff version. So what's weird is this existed a
- 1:05Speaker 1: year before.
- 1:06Speaker 5: Hot damn.
- 1:07Speaker 3: But it doesn't count because it's in another country.
- 1:11Speaker 2: We don't count them.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Yeah, those aren't real movies.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Alligator's an American film.
- 1:15Speaker 3: It's fine. Excuse me.
- 1:17Speaker 5: It's an American classic, sir.
- 1:19Speaker 2: That it is.
- 1:20Speaker 3: It's a drive-in classic. So that one, let's see.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I believe is a Thai-South Korean co-production. Oh. So I'm
- 1:32Speaker 1: assuming it's going to be horribly dubbed. So I'm all
- 1:37Speaker 1: for putting this on the list anyway, was my original question.
- 1:40Speaker 1: But then the only other fact, there was only two
- 1:44Speaker 1: facts out there about this movie, one of which is,
- 1:47Speaker 1: which leads to a bigger question, This movie is on
- 1:50Speaker 1: the American Humane Association unacceptable list due to a live
- 1:54Speaker 1: crocodile being slashed with a knife.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Slashed or killed.
- 2:00Speaker 3: They didn't say.
- 2:00Speaker 2: It just says slashed.
- 2:02Speaker 3: So I'm, I don't.
- 2:05Speaker 5: This was produced on the writing the Jaws wave.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Yeah. I think it was a, you know, animal attack.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Everything took off after the Jaws thing. So that's how
- 2:15Speaker 1: we got 400 different animal attack movies.
- 2:17Speaker 3: This being one of them.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Just one of the more cheaply produced in another country version.
- 2:23Speaker 1: So for me, I still kind of want to see it.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I'm still curious as to what the hell was going on.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I don't approve of such.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Behavior, but at the same time, if you think that's
- 2:33Speaker 1: the worst thing going on in Thailand or South Korea,
- 2:38Speaker 1: at that point or now, I'm just like, yeah, whether
- 2:41Speaker 1: you're a crocodile or a person, I'm sure god-awful things
- 2:44Speaker 1: are going on there.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Wow, the.
- 2:47Speaker 5: creature effects on this it.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Looks pretty i watched the trailer i was gonna say
- 2:51Speaker 1: amazing but it looks cheesy and that was why i
- 2:54Speaker 1: was like oh i still kind of want to watch
- 2:55Speaker 1: this i gotta say so i didn't know if that
- 2:57Speaker 1: was a deal breaker this.
- 2:58Speaker 5: Is where i'm gonna be a nerd and say i
- 3:00Speaker 5: don't think this is a crocodile because its snout is too.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Short yeah i think we'll give it a pass No, no.
- 3:07Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 3:08Speaker 4: I'm talking about the slashing.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Because that was my other question. Like you'll pass on it? Oh, no.
- 3:12Speaker 4: I'll give it the pass as in like I'll watch
- 3:16Speaker 4: a bad movie.
- 3:17Speaker 3: We'll still disagree with that decision. Yeah, we'll find it unacceptable.
- 3:21Speaker 2: We can watch the movie, I guess.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Yeah. Because I feel like I don't... I haven't signed
- 3:26Speaker 1: up for most of those movies, which there are a
- 3:28Speaker 1: handful over the years. I don't think it's a good idea.
- 3:32Speaker 1: But at the same time, I'm like... It doesn't change
- 3:35Speaker 1: the fact that they already did it. So if I
- 3:36Speaker 1: want to see the movie, again, I'm enough of a
- 3:38Speaker 1: movie geek that I'm like, well, I still kind of
- 3:40Speaker 1: want to see this movie. Yeah. There's a few that
- 3:44Speaker 1: I'm still... I haven't written off any of them. I
- 3:47Speaker 1: might eventually watch whatever that stupid movie is.
- 3:50Speaker 5: Cannibal Holocaust?
- 3:50Speaker 3: Yeah, Cannibal Holocaust. That's the thing.
- 3:52Speaker 1: At this point, I've heard so much about it. I'm like,
- 3:55Speaker 1: I kind of don't care for all the reasons anymore.
- 3:58Speaker 2: That just being one of them.
- 3:59Speaker 5: It's more, in my opinion, more... dull than anything else
- 4:03Speaker 5: that's the issue long stretches of nothing going on and
- 4:08Speaker 5: you know extreme grotesqueness but but that.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Was the other thing i thought of is does it
- 4:14Speaker 1: does it factor in if it's not an animal that
- 4:17Speaker 1: most people would consider cute if you're slashing a baby
- 4:20Speaker 1: deer oh god i can't watch this crocodiles.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Nobody liked crocodiles. I was like, well, I think they're
- 4:26Speaker 2: pretty cool, personally.
- 4:27Speaker 3: But.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Well, maybe their skin is thick enough that it doesn't
- 4:30Speaker 4: hurt that much.
- 4:31Speaker 3: That's what we can tell ourselves. That's what I will
- 4:33Speaker 3: choose to believe.
- 4:34Speaker 5: There's a very good chance the crocodile could have looked
- 4:36Speaker 5: at whoever slashed it and said, what do you think
- 4:38Speaker 5: you're doing?
- 4:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Do you know I'm going to eat you now? And
- 4:41Speaker 2: then that person got eaten by a crocodile.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:43Speaker 2: That's the way I see it happening.
- 4:44Speaker 5: I was just coming over to say hello, but now
- 4:47Speaker 5: you're a jerk.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Look at you, jerk.
- 4:48Speaker 3: So, yeah.
- 4:49Speaker 5: And I don't even like eating people, so joke's on you.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Plus, you know, I also, what kind of a hypocrite
- 4:57Speaker 2: am I?
- 4:57Speaker 3: I mean, I've watched Alligator, and I've.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Had Alligator, so like, which I felt was the worst
- 5:04Speaker 1: part about Gatorland, because I loved Gatorland as a child. Sure.
- 5:09Speaker 1: If you'd make a traveling trip to your favorite state, Florida,
- 5:13Speaker 1: that's where they keep Gatorland.
- 5:15Speaker 2: And the entire, if you haven't been there, The gift.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Shop area is a big gator head that you walk
- 5:21Speaker 1: into the mouth. And I thought that was the most
- 5:24Speaker 1: awesome thing I'd ever seen.
- 5:25Speaker 3: And maybe still like it's pretty high on the list.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Very cool.
- 5:29Speaker 3: So, but also when you get to the snack bar,
- 5:32Speaker 3: you can get gator.
- 5:34Speaker 1: It's like you're there to see them and appreciate them
- 5:37Speaker 1: as the life form that they are doing their gator-y things.
- 5:40Speaker 1: And then you go to the snack bar and it's
- 5:41Speaker 1: also on.
- 5:42Speaker 3: The items you can order. It seems a little weird.
- 5:47Speaker 3: I'm not saying I didn't try it. I don't remember. Again,
- 5:50Speaker 3: I was still kind of a kid at that point.
- 5:52Speaker 5: Well, I mean, they got so many gators. They got
- 5:53Speaker 5: to do something.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Again, I was like, I mean, I guess it's fine.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I remember the stupid thing that everyone says kind of
- 6:00Speaker 1: being true.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Like, yeah. Kind of tastes like chicken.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I don't know. That's why I was like, I hope
- 6:05Speaker 1: they were just lying anyway. I'm like, so this is
- 6:07Speaker 1: just chicken, right? Because it's probably easier to just go
- 6:09Speaker 1: buy some chicken.
- 6:11Speaker 5: Is that where you got your pet alligator?
- 6:13Speaker 3: Okay.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Well, no.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Wait, I have a pet alligator?
- 6:16Speaker 5: I thought you said you had several gators. You made
- 6:18Speaker 5: it sound like you kept pet alligators.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I just went there and saw them and enjoyed Gatorland,
- 6:23Speaker 1: and then also I ate.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Gators, so that seems a little weird.
- 6:25Speaker 5: Well, I got excited, and now I'm not.
- 6:28Speaker 3: I've been to a pet store.
- 6:29Speaker 2: I saw a gator there.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Okay.
- 6:31Speaker 3: That's almost the same.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Fair enough.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I just think all of that's weird in general, but
- 6:37Speaker 1: it led me to that I still want to see Crocodile. Sure.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Yeah, why not?
- 6:41Speaker 3: So, there you go.
- 6:43Speaker 1: That's possibly something we can watch. That was my vote
- 6:47Speaker 1: to pencil in on the old list.
- 6:49Speaker 4: I think that's the only movie threat you've ever done
- 6:52Speaker 4: where we're like, okay.
- 6:53Speaker 5: Yeah, usually they're horrible.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Where this one's still probably going to be a really
- 6:57Speaker 1: bad movie.
- 6:58Speaker 3: But, you know, it seems fun.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Summertime appropriate.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you're assuming we're going to land there during the summer.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Something's been on there for years.
- 7:08Speaker 5: Gives me an excuse, not that I need one, but
- 7:10Speaker 5: gives me an excuse to pick up Thai food.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Ooh, yeah, that sounds good.
- 7:14Speaker 2: And have a themed event.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Yum.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Do they work crocodile into certain dishes?
- 7:20Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Since we're also rolling that into it.
- 7:25Speaker 5: I feel like if I Google that, my phone's just
- 7:27Speaker 5: going to be like, dude, I am tired of your
- 7:29Speaker 5: questions like this.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Why do you ask these? It's always these kind of questions.
- 7:35Speaker 4: One day.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Just no.
- 7:37Speaker 5: Just no, man.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Just don't. Quit trying to eat weird animals. What have
- 7:40Speaker 3: I told you?
- 7:42Speaker 1: Because there was a restaurant around here that used to
- 7:45Speaker 1: serve really weird animals.
- 7:47Speaker 3: They're still around. Are they still?
- 7:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:50Speaker 3: I think so.
- 7:51Speaker 2: That was really weird.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Because I remember going there and went, I don't know
- 7:55Speaker 1: that I'm supposed to be eating this animal.
- 7:57Speaker 3: This doesn't seem legal.
- 7:58Speaker 2: For one thing.
- 7:58Speaker 5: Did you try a lion or something? Yeah, it was
- 8:00Speaker 5: really weird.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Oh, no. It was the only one on the list
- 8:03Speaker 1: that wasn't game.
- 8:05Speaker 2: It was a predator.
- 8:06Speaker 3: And I was like, well, at least this one.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Had a fighting chance.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I mean, what did elk ever do to you? But
- 8:11Speaker 1: this lion would have eaten your ass. So it felt
- 8:13Speaker 1: like that was the one that seemed fair.
- 8:16Speaker 3: I mean, he had a shot at least.
- 8:17Speaker 5: It's a little less... weird eating something that would eat you.
- 8:22Speaker 3: If given the chance.
- 8:23Speaker 2: That was my reasoning. Again, these are the only few
- 8:26Speaker 2: things I've ever eaten that are weird.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Other than that, it's just like the same chicken quesadilla
- 8:31Speaker 1: I make every other night.
- 8:33Speaker 5: The closest I've come to exotic animals is ostrich.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:38Speaker 5: But they farm those specifically for food, and I don't
- 8:42Speaker 5: know that they do that for lions.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Well, and even then, that's the thing.
- 8:45Speaker 1: All of these stories I'm telling you are from decades
- 8:47Speaker 1: ago so it's not like i have any recent i
- 8:50Speaker 1: don't go out of my way to eat any weird
- 8:52Speaker 1: animals or most things anymore i'm just like i don't
- 8:55Speaker 1: know it's just a lot of work to make food
- 8:56Speaker 1: so unless tuna is gonna fight back and take me
- 9:00Speaker 1: out that's about.
- 9:01Speaker 5: All i probably could i mean but i'm i'm assuming
- 9:04Speaker 5: you eat the kind that are in the can it's
- 9:06Speaker 5: in a can you didn't drag it out of the ocean.
- 9:09Speaker 2: That seems like a lot of work. Once again, draining
- 9:12Speaker 2: the tuna is already kind of too much work.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I have to space out those sessions because it's a lot.
- 9:17Speaker 2: It's really a lot. I don't put a lot of
- 9:19Speaker 2: work into making food anymore.
- 9:23Speaker 5: There's a lot of food that I choose not to
- 9:27Speaker 5: eat and the mere presence of it, the fact that
- 9:32Speaker 5: other people eat it does not disturb me, but tuna.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Just something about it.
- 9:38Speaker 3: That you don't like?
- 9:41Speaker 5: Do not like.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Okay.
- 9:43Speaker 3: I mean, it's weird.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Consistency-wise.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Probably flavor if you're not used to it.
- 9:49Speaker 5: Texture, flavor, smell.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. Definitely has its own smell.
- 9:53Speaker 2: So yeah, I get it. I think I'm just used
- 9:55Speaker 2: to it.
- 9:57Speaker 3: The cats like it. Yeah, see?
- 9:59Speaker 2: You gotta.
- 10:00Speaker 3: trust their judgment.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Look at these guys.
- 10:02Speaker 5: Yeah, but we've all seen how crazy cats get when
- 10:05Speaker 5: you even like rattle the tuna can.
- 10:07Speaker 2: You don't think I'm like that?
- 10:08Speaker 5: Well, probably.
- 10:09Speaker 3: I run around like you wouldn't believe as.
- 10:12Speaker 5: Soon as I open that can. We've said the word
- 10:13Speaker 5: like five times.
- 10:14Speaker 3: I know, I'm like looking at them.
- 10:15Speaker 5: I'm looking at both of them.
- 10:16Speaker 3: He's like, where's it at?
- 10:18Speaker 2: Jerks need to give me some tuna.
- 10:22Speaker 3: All that having been said, these are the kind of
- 10:24Speaker 3: things we talk about. Crocodile, that's the movie we're going
- 10:27Speaker 3: to watch.
- 10:27Speaker 1: And we'll probably say equally ridiculous things on the episode
- 10:31Speaker 1: that you listen to when you sign.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Up for the Meltdown Horror Club. Weird things like this.
- 10:40Speaker 5: I had heard for years about how bizarre it was and...
- 10:44Speaker 5: It was, but not in the way I was expecting.
- 10:46Speaker 3: It's amazing because it falls into every category.
- 10:50Speaker 5: Every category.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Every category. It's horror. It's comedy. It's slapstick. It's musical.
- 10:58Speaker 3: It's puppets. It's animation.
- 11:01Speaker 5: Have you seen it?
- 11:01Speaker 1: Everything.
- 11:02Speaker 3: No, I've heard of it.
- 11:03Speaker 2: It's amazing.
- 11:05Speaker 5: I hesitate to say amazing. It's something.
- 11:07Speaker 3: No, it's... I don't know if it's amazing.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I'm impressed with it as an undertaking. Like, as a story,
- 11:12Speaker 1: it's just like, what the hell am I watching? But
- 11:15Speaker 1: by the end, I was so impressed with what all
- 11:18Speaker 1: happened in the context.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Of this one movie.
- 11:21Speaker 2: I was just like, you know, for you guys making
- 11:23Speaker 2: a movie, that is impressive.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Yeah. It's like watching Sergio Leone tell Sam Peckinpah about
- 11:30Speaker 1: a dreamy ad starring Quentin Tarantino.
- 11:32Speaker 2: And I'm like, yes, it is all of those things.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Every one of those people you just mentioned seems like
- 11:39Speaker 1: they watched them on a loop before they went out.
- 11:41Speaker 3: To shoot this movie.
- 11:42Speaker 1: So it is all of those things. And eventually I
- 11:46Speaker 1: was like, no, not really horror. I'll be damned.
- 11:52Speaker 4: And, yeah, I like his movies. They're usually, like, very
- 11:56Speaker 4: serious and kind of meditative, and this one was, like,
- 12:00Speaker 4: really goofy and slapstick and very funny.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I heard.
- 12:04Speaker 3: He's kind of a weirdo, too, which I appreciate.
- 12:07Speaker 1: They said he was at, like, a Q & A, and, like,
- 12:10Speaker 1: people were trying to ask questions, and he was just, like,
- 12:13Speaker 1: super weird and dark. And I was like, yeah, that
- 12:15Speaker 1: seems about right.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Like....
- 12:19Speaker 5: My favorite part is there's a girl who gets eaten
- 12:21Speaker 5: by a piano.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Yes, that one is epic.
- 12:24Speaker 5: And for a second I thought, well, maybe she's going
- 12:27Speaker 5: to be okay because you see her coming out of
- 12:29Speaker 5: the top of the piano.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Oh.
- 12:30Speaker 5: But then you see various body parts dancing around and
- 12:34Speaker 5: her head is floating around because she instantly becomes a ghost.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Oh.
- 12:39Speaker 5: But her head's floating around watching her legs get eating.
- 12:42Speaker 5: She giggles and says the word naughty.
- 12:45Speaker 2: I feel like that's a good representation.
- 12:47Speaker 1: If you're not familiar with the movie, that description is
- 12:51Speaker 1: all you need to know whether you can.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Decide, is this movie for me?
- 12:55Speaker 2: If that scares you off, then no, this movie is
- 12:58Speaker 2: not for you.
- 12:59Speaker 5: Having said all of that, though, there were genuine moments
- 13:02Speaker 5: where I was like, if this didn't have the weird
- 13:05Speaker 5: country western disco music in it, this scene would actually
- 13:09Speaker 5: be quite terrifying.
- 13:13Speaker 4: I mean, it definitely... Like, the Stephen King short story
- 13:16Speaker 4: is very short and definitely does not go into the
- 13:20Speaker 4: depth that this one is.
- 13:21Speaker 2: The monkey's an alcoholic.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Yeah. I can't pick up the bottle because I've got
- 13:25Speaker 1: these stupid symbols attached to my hand.
- 13:29Speaker 5: But I watched it. I was like, what did I
- 13:31Speaker 5: just watch?
- 13:31Speaker 3: What is this?
- 13:32Speaker 1: Yes, that's the appropriate question, even at the end of
- 13:35Speaker 1: the movie. What is this that I just watched?
- 13:38Speaker 5: There's my favorite scene. is there's this weird produce salesman
- 13:47Speaker 5: on the side of the road. That's the part I
- 13:49Speaker 5: was just thinking of. Yeah, but there's a scene where
- 13:56Speaker 5: he's dealing with one of their teachers is supposed to
- 13:59Speaker 5: drive up to the house that these girls are in
- 14:02Speaker 5: to meet them for vague story purposes.
- 14:06Speaker 2: The whole vague story is vague story.
- 14:09Speaker 3: The end.
- 14:11Speaker 5: But he gets there and the teacher's talking to the
- 14:14Speaker 5: fruit salesman. And the fruit salesman is just like, buy
- 14:17Speaker 5: my watermelon. And he's like, I don't want watermelon. And
- 14:19Speaker 5: in a certain part, the other guy just starts screaming,
- 14:22Speaker 5: I don't want watermelon. I want bananas. And then the
- 14:27Speaker 5: fruit salesman turns into a skeleton that bursts into flames.
- 14:33Speaker 5: And the teacher turns into a pile of bananas. And
- 14:36Speaker 5: then they just move right along. Wow.
- 14:40Speaker 4: Speaking of plot devices, the scene early on where they
- 14:43Speaker 4: have the exposition about that girl's stepdad, that whole conversation.
- 14:48Speaker 3: I was like, this was minimal. This was clunky. The
- 14:52Speaker 3: guy being like, oh, your stepdad did that to you, huh?
- 14:56Speaker 4: Well, your mom hasn't left him yet, right? But what
- 14:58Speaker 4: about your sister? I know you just kept saying, I
- 15:02Speaker 4: was like, okay, well, you're just going to. Just go
- 15:05Speaker 4: ahead and tell us all that.
- 15:07Speaker 3: We need all the help we can get.
- 15:09Speaker 5: Why bother with things like... Subtlety. Subtlety and character development
- 15:16Speaker 5: when you can just shoehorn it all in in a
- 15:18Speaker 5: 45-second speech? This is where I have to say that
- 15:23Speaker 5: I would probably have pulled a page from Harper's Playbook
- 15:27Speaker 5: and be like, That guy killed all of them. I
- 15:31Speaker 5: was in the bathroom the whole time.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Again, I feel like that was a more interesting movie
- 15:36Speaker 1: that they totally skipped over. Yes. When we got to
- 15:38Speaker 1: that little moment in the back room there where it's
- 15:43Speaker 1: the two of them. It's Harper and Benny. And they're like, okay,
- 15:47Speaker 1: I'm going to go back to jail. You're going to
- 15:49Speaker 1: throw your whole future away.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Or this guy's dead.
- 15:53Speaker 1: And we get to do whatever we want, and we
- 15:55Speaker 1: get the reward, and, like, everything's great as long as
- 15:57Speaker 1: you're willing.
- 15:58Speaker 2: To murder someone.
- 15:59Speaker 1: That's a really interesting scenario you've just thrown out there,
- 16:02Speaker 1: especially for somebody who's kind of straight-laced like Harper, and, like,
- 16:06Speaker 1: so if she's that much of a committed to making
- 16:09Speaker 1: her life a success that she's willing to murder this
- 16:12Speaker 1: guy that she only kind of thinks did it, like,
- 16:15Speaker 1: she doesn't.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Really know, so.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I was like, that's a really interesting scenario that we
- 16:20Speaker 1: didn't sit on for more than about five minutes.
- 16:22Speaker 5: I still believe, though, that, and I thought this while
- 16:25Speaker 5: I was watching it, it's like, okay, if this, because
- 16:28Speaker 5: at that point I was like, I'm pretty sure this
- 16:29Speaker 5: guy didn't do all this stuff. I was like, but
- 16:32Speaker 5: if he had, I feel like the cops are still
- 16:36Speaker 5: going to take your word over his.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Probably, because he seems like a serial killer.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't know.
- 16:44Speaker 4: That's still not who I'm thinking of, though.
- 16:45Speaker 5: I feel like Mandy Patinkin has never once paid for breakfast.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Eh, should he really?
- 16:53Speaker 5: I feel like he's offered to cover the check quite
- 16:55Speaker 5: a few times, but after three refusals, he's like, fine, alright.
- 16:58Speaker 2: He's a good guy.
- 16:59Speaker 3: He offers, but yeah.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Why should he ever have to pay for breakfast?
- 17:03Speaker 1: He's a national treasure.
- 17:05Speaker 5: I would love to get an angry phone call from
- 17:07Speaker 5: Mandy Patinkin saying, listen, you son of a bitch, I
- 17:09Speaker 5: pay for breakfast.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I pay for breakfast all the time!
- 17:13Speaker 3: Oops, this person's also dead.
- 17:15Speaker 5: Well, I think, too, this does come into play in
- 17:20Speaker 5: the real world because how many people have murdered one
- 17:24Speaker 5: person and then somebody else and then just got themselves all.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Now I have to cover up my murders with more murder.
- 17:31Speaker 3: You gotta keep murder. Yeah.
- 17:33Speaker 5: That's why I've never murdered a single person, because I
- 17:35Speaker 5: know it'll lead to more.
- 17:37Speaker 2: That we know.
- 17:37Speaker 5: And there'll be some sort of wacky, you know, Three's
- 17:40Speaker 5: Company-style shenanigans.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I do feel like that would happen with you, though.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Yes, it would.
- 17:44Speaker 2: There definitely would be some wackiness involved.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Probably even weirder things will be said behind closed doors
- 17:54Speaker 3: of a paywall. Yeah.
- 17:57Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Go to MovieMeltdown.com, join the Patreon community, And then you
- 18:02Speaker 3: can be part of the Meltdown Horror Club and.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Choose a better movie than Crocodile. But that's arguable because,
- 18:07Speaker 1: you know, it looks pretty awesome. Except for the animal
- 18:10Speaker 1: injuries and whatnot. But other than that, it looks kind
- 18:13Speaker 1: of ridiculous, which usually wins me over.
- 18:15Speaker 5: And if you're, you know, a sick bastard, you can
- 18:18Speaker 5: choose something worse. If you don't like the cut of
- 18:21Speaker 5: our jib, you can make us suffer by watching something worse.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Our jib's a little weird, I guess.
- 18:26Speaker 5: Our jib is cut oddly, yeah.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Got an oblong jib i don't.
- 18:31Speaker 5: Think i've ever used that phrase i'm proud of myself.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Today it's a very special day what is a jib.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I don't know but they cut it these are the
- 18:43Speaker 1: weird things that people come up with us sayings and
- 18:46Speaker 1: then you know 50 100 years go by and.
- 18:48Speaker 3: You're like why are we why are we champing at
- 18:51Speaker 3: the bit what are.
- 18:52Speaker 2: We doing because that is what it's supposed to be
- 18:54Speaker 2: by Chomping?
- 18:55Speaker 5: Yeah, chomping.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Everybody says chomping now because we bastardize it over the
- 19:00Speaker 1: years because nobody knows what chomping is.
- 19:02Speaker 5: Few people know what a bit is. That too.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Again, where we live.
- 19:05Speaker 2: It's a different story.
- 19:06Speaker 5: Well, right.
- 19:07Speaker 2: The rest of the country is like, what are you
- 19:09Speaker 2: idiots chomping at?
- 19:10Speaker 5: If I didn't live here, I don't think I would
- 19:12Speaker 5: know what a horse is. It's true.
- 19:14Speaker 3: I don't see them very often. And haven't eaten any
- 19:17Speaker 3: that I know of.
- 19:18Speaker 5: That you know of.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Pretty shady operations around here. You can tell.
