- 0:10Speaker 1: so you might see me there.
- 0:11Speaker 2: That's gonna be a high. Hi.
- 0:15Speaker 1: I'll be like, leave me alone, I'm join some d
- 0:17Speaker 1: MB who's cheer. My wife and I. We have a song.
- 0:23Speaker 1: You know everybody's got a song. Yeah, ours is a
- 0:25Speaker 1: Dave Matthews song. You know, you guys, every time we
- 0:31Speaker 1: hear it, we cried, Oh, never mind it is. It's
- 0:33Speaker 1: the dumbest thing.
- 0:34Speaker 2: It's a ballad though, right it has that's a little.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Bit of a ballad. No, it's this one. He's our song. Yeah,
- 0:40Speaker 1: it's a ballad. So yeah, we're excited. And last time
- 0:44Speaker 1: we saw him, uh and the band and the boys
- 0:46Speaker 1: in the band, they did a two night thing, which
- 0:49Speaker 1: they're doing again at Fiddlers. But the first night we
- 0:52Speaker 1: went to the concert, we didn't hear our song, and
- 0:54Speaker 1: it turns out they played it on the second night.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Oh man, we almost got divorced over there.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Gotta go both nights.
- 1:01Speaker 1: What else is going on? Some big baseball news over
- 1:03Speaker 1: the weekend. The rock He's unveiled a fifteen foot tall,
- 1:07Speaker 1: eight hundred pounds statue of Hall of Famer where.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Walker.
- 1:14Speaker 1: I guess it's outside the main entrance to Corsfield, twentieth
- 1:17Speaker 1: and Blake. It's a pretty solid looking statue. Good. I
- 1:20Speaker 1: saw the unveiling. They pulled that big sheet off of it,
- 1:22Speaker 1: and I was like, yeah, not bad? Is he pretty good?
- 1:26Speaker 1: It was of famine, like, yeahy walk from part of
- 1:33Speaker 1: the Blake Street bomber. That's right.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Yeah the statue for sure.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Yeah, he's such a cool dude. I remember when he
- 1:39Speaker 3: got the call. They always film when the guy gets
- 1:41Speaker 3: the call for the Hall of Fame. He was rocking
- 1:43Speaker 3: a SpongeBob shirt. It's just such a relaxed, cool dude,
- 1:48Speaker 3: typical Canadian, like, oh wait, I meet the Hall of Fame,
- 1:50Speaker 3: all right?
- 1:51Speaker 2: Cool?
- 1:51Speaker 3: Like I just love so much.
- 1:52Speaker 1: He's such like a nice guy. He was out there
- 1:54Speaker 1: hugging fans and yeah, kissing babies and all that.
- 1:57Speaker 3: So he talked about his dad and got choked up,
- 1:59Speaker 3: and it made me choke up.
- 2:01Speaker 1: It's like me with a Dave Matthews Manson. Uh.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:05Speaker 1: The other day we talked about how I want a
- 2:07Speaker 1: memorial bench. I wonder if I can get a memorial statue.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Where would you put it?
- 2:11Speaker 2: It'd be a little harder.
- 2:12Speaker 1: We just figure out we can put it out in
- 2:14Speaker 1: front of the radio station, put it in your front
- 2:16Speaker 1: yard of your c.
- 2:17Speaker 4: What would your pose be, because you're not an app
- 2:19Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I'd.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Be holding a mic a okay, or given them fingershooters
- 2:26Speaker 1: you go, or just me holding like a man character.
- 2:29Speaker 3: You couldn't be he man put a little.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, we'll flush this up.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Were you at some sort of a Star Wars night
- 2:40Speaker 1: with the baseballs?
- 2:41Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, Okay, the Rockies are so bad. So
- 2:44Speaker 3: they do so many theme nights. Look, no, this is
- 2:47Speaker 3: the thing I'm it's I'm sorry they are. They do
- 2:50Speaker 3: so many theme nights. But that is the thing. The
- 2:51Speaker 3: Rockies do so well, whether it's CSU c U night,
- 2:54Speaker 3: they do everything for the colleges well over the weekend.
- 2:57Speaker 3: On Saturday they did Star Wars Night. This is my
- 3:00Speaker 3: time to shine like I love it so much. So
- 3:04Speaker 3: many people were dressed up. I maybe stayed in my
- 3:07Speaker 3: seats for fifteen minutes of the entire game because I
- 3:10Speaker 3: was like, oh, dude, everything. First of all, they were
- 3:13Speaker 3: selling inflatable lightsabers, which was awesome. Then I was chasing
- 3:17Speaker 3: down Stormtroopers and Darth Vader to try to get pictures
- 3:19Speaker 3: with them. I couldn't find Darth Vader day ruined. That sucked,
- 3:22Speaker 3: but everything else was so cool. They had Star Wars
- 3:24Speaker 3: themed food, they had Star Wars theme drinks. I had
- 3:28Speaker 3: a blast meeting all the other nerds. First of all,
- 3:30Speaker 3: the person I was sitting next to him and his
- 3:32Speaker 3: girlfriend were like R two D two and some other droid.
- 3:35Speaker 3: I didn't even know it was sick. They had those guys.
- 3:38Speaker 3: They had so many of those little guys and sad people,
- 3:42Speaker 3: and it was just so much fun. Like the Rockies lost.
- 3:45Speaker 3: I didn't even care. I was like, it does. I
- 3:47Speaker 3: met Chewbaca first of all, so you making that sound
- 3:49Speaker 3: was awesome. I had so much fun. I seriously stayed
- 3:53Speaker 3: in my seats for ten minutes.
- 3:54Speaker 1: It was like me at comic comes.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Yes, the nerd in meat just came out. I had
- 3:58Speaker 3: such a blast.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Your girlfriend with you, yeah, and it was awesome. She
- 4:01Speaker 1: stayed with you.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Oh.
- 4:02Speaker 3: All she did was stand behind me the whole time
- 4:04Speaker 3: and just film me, because I was like, take a
- 4:05Speaker 3: picture of this, take a picture of this, Take a
- 4:07Speaker 3: picture of this, and it was it was I had
- 4:09Speaker 3: so much fun.
- 4:10Speaker 2: It was I saw you your picture with your Darth
- 4:14Speaker 2: Maul T shirt.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Yes, of course I was decked. I was trying to say,
- 4:18Speaker 3: this is so funny, and I think I'm gonna do
- 4:19Speaker 3: it next year. I was trying to decide of whether
- 4:22Speaker 3: I should actually dress up or not, and I totally
- 4:24Speaker 3: got shy and I didn't because that earlier that day,
- 4:27Speaker 3: I had lunch with my mom and she was like, Hey,
- 4:29Speaker 3: are you going to the Star Wars And I was
- 4:30Speaker 3: like yes. She goes, are you gonna dress up? And
- 4:32Speaker 3: I was like yeah, absolutely, and she's like, I wouldn't
- 4:35Speaker 3: do that.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I got talked out of it. She's like.
- 4:38Speaker 3: My old mother. It's quite the trek. It's an eighty
- 4:44Speaker 3: one hundred foot mountain. And the sun started to get
- 4:47Speaker 3: too tired, and instead of turning around and taking his
- 4:50Speaker 3: son back home, the father completely abandoned him, completely left
- 4:55Speaker 3: him on a mountain park bench and said, hey, you
- 4:57Speaker 3: wait here, I'm gonna go climb the top this mountain.
- 5:00Speaker 3: He really wanted to climb this mountain. So that was
- 5:02Speaker 3: at four point thirty in the morning when the boy
- 5:04Speaker 3: got too tired at seven forty, so three hours later
- 5:09Speaker 3: the police were notified and they found this man at
- 5:11Speaker 3: the eighth station. There's different stations here as you go
- 5:14Speaker 3: up the mountain. They found him at the eighth station
- 5:15Speaker 3: and said you need to return to your son right now,
- 5:19Speaker 3: and they're charging him with abandonment. First of all, yeah,
- 5:21Speaker 3: son was found uninjured. He was totally fine other than
- 5:24Speaker 3: just being tired. But yeah, this father is in a
- 5:26Speaker 3: heap of trouble.
- 5:27Speaker 1: That's ridiculous. List a feel good story of the morning
- 5:29Speaker 1: right here like this. You know what, Sometimes dad just
- 5:33Speaker 1: wants some peace and.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Compy, right exactly.
- 5:34Speaker 1: It's like if we went hiking with Katie, we would
- 5:37Speaker 1: leave her at a bench and just finish.
- 5:40Speaker 5: We've got receipts, We've got drummer, We've got Denver talking
- 5:45Speaker 5: gets the Mile High Hike with the JKJ Legends and
- 5:49Speaker 5: icon On makes one hundred.
- 5:50Speaker 1: It is time for the hype. It's all the big
- 5:52Speaker 1: stories of the day. We're pretty darn tapped in and
- 5:55Speaker 1: I should let you know that it is all brought
- 5:57Speaker 1: to you by Mountain High Appliance. Or you can get
- 5:59Speaker 1: amazing savings throughout all of their showrooms whether you're replacing,
- 6:03Speaker 1: what appliants are remodeling an entire kitchen, find top brands
- 6:06Speaker 1: and expert device. All you have to do is go
- 6:08Speaker 1: to mile high appliance dot Com. One of my most
- 6:11Speaker 1: favorite days today because I got a jingle for it.
- 6:14Speaker 1: It's National Waffle Day. Waffle We like waffle.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Do you like pancakes? We like pancakes. Do you like
- 6:20Speaker 3: Prince Doe?
- 6:21Speaker 1: Yeah, we like Prince Those.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Can't wait together.
- 6:32Speaker 1: It's just so stupid. It is national. I know where
- 6:34Speaker 1: do I find this crap? It is National Waffle Day.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I think the waffle might be superior to the pancake.
- 6:41Speaker 1: It depends. I'm not talking like Lego, my ago, that's crap. Belgian, Yeah,
- 6:45Speaker 1: like Belgian.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:46Speaker 1: The thick ones.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Hold the syrup.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Oh, hold the syrup like somebody holds me on my honeymoon.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Not just you know, limit ourselves to the sweet waffles,
- 6:57Speaker 4: because waffles can go so many I mean not waffle.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Maker waffles both ways.
- 7:02Speaker 2: You could put.
- 7:02Speaker 4: Stuffing in a waffle maker to mashed potatoes, like.
- 7:09Speaker 2: You really can.
- 7:10Speaker 4: These are things you can do. So I'm just saying
- 7:14Speaker 4: there's a lot of ways clean toilet with them.
- 7:16Speaker 2: There's a lot of ways. You can scrub the tile
- 7:19Speaker 2: and shower with them, just about anything in that waffle.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Man can wash your car with them. It has been done.
- 7:25Speaker 2: I mean, the little grooves make perfect for holding SuDS
- 7:28Speaker 2: because your car.
- 7:30Speaker 1: What is the weirdest thing you could put in those
- 7:31Speaker 1: little grooves vix vapor rube. That's always my go to.
- 7:36Speaker 2: All kinds of stuff you can put in those groups.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Jerry toilet bowl cleaner. Then you get in there, yeah,
- 7:43Speaker 1: and you just scrub.
- 7:44Speaker 2: It with scrub a dubber.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Anyway, have a have a big old fat waffle today,
- 7:49Speaker 1: all right? So this is another one of those anyone
- 7:51Speaker 1: can make money on only fans. People will watch anyone
- 7:56Speaker 1: take their clothes off for money. Lauren e Fred her middle.
- 8:02Speaker 1: She goes by Pumpkin. She's from Honey Boo boo boo.
- 8:07Speaker 1: It's daughter of Mama June's sister of Honey Boo boo. Yes,
- 8:11Speaker 1: Pumpkin has officially joined only fans. She's making fifteen thousand
- 8:17Speaker 1: dollars per day.
- 8:19Speaker 2: No, that's no it per day?
- 8:23Speaker 1: What is I should look her up? What is Pumpkin
- 8:25Speaker 1: look like?
- 8:25Speaker 4: No?
- 8:25Speaker 1: No, no, no, my mind.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Can't compute that. Oh no, yeah, but.
- 8:31Speaker 1: It's the whole thing that's like, it's somebody out there's
- 8:34Speaker 1: you know, well she has.
- 8:36Speaker 4: A little bit of a famous name tied to her. Well, no,
- 8:40Speaker 4: but honey, boo boo, I mean that whole family, Like
- 8:43Speaker 4: there is that kind of notoriety tied to her name.
- 8:47Speaker 4: So automatically people are gonna search her OnlyFans content. But
- 8:52Speaker 4: you're right, this is along those lines of everybody's doing
- 8:56Speaker 4: it now.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Her favorite foods are scady and butter. She says she's
- 9:02Speaker 1: doing it for her children. She's doing it to provide
- 9:04Speaker 1: her kids a better lifestyle. She has kids. Yeah, I'm
- 9:09Speaker 1: only six and I've already had three heart attacks all
- 9:19Speaker 1: moreover saturation of Dolly Parton. I guess a Dolly Parton
- 9:23Speaker 1: avatar is in our future. She's working with the team
- 9:26Speaker 1: UH to create avatar performances in its early stages because
- 9:30Speaker 1: you know, it's been in the news that her health
- 9:32Speaker 1: I think is kind of declining a little bit. She's
- 9:35Speaker 1: been having to cancel a bunch of events and stuff.
- 9:37Speaker 1: But Dolly is going to keep on rocking in the future.
- 9:40Speaker 1: This would be good at dolly Land, Dolly Park, dolly Wood, Dollywood, Dollyland.
- 9:47Speaker 1: It would be nice to have a Dolly Parton avatar there,
- 9:50Speaker 1: I would think. She's also opening a new hotel next
- 9:53Speaker 1: month in downtown Nashville. It's called the Song Tailor Hotel.
- 9:57Speaker 1: She's opening a museum called the Life of Many Colors.
- 10:01Speaker 1: And then she's also working on a line of dog
- 10:04Speaker 1: treats with Purina as well, Dolly Parton Dog Treats. Okay,
- 10:08Speaker 1: the oversaturation continues. And then by far my most favorite
- 10:11Speaker 1: story of the day, Screw all this Spider Man stuff
- 10:13Speaker 1: that's going on right now, biggest movie of all time.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Nicholas Cage is returning for National Treasure three. This is
- 10:20Speaker 1: the news we need to be talking about, right, This
- 10:23Speaker 1: is it?
- 10:24Speaker 3: Love that series, me too, so excited for the third.
- 10:27Speaker 3: We've waited what like twenty years.
- 10:29Speaker 1: When was the last one? Two thousand and seven, The
- 10:32Speaker 1: Book of Secrets. It earned about five hundred million globally,
- 10:35Speaker 1: so it did.
- 10:36Speaker 3: All right, So good, Nick, it's so good.
- 10:42Speaker 1: All right, So National Treasure three it'll probably go straight
- 10:45Speaker 1: to Disney Plus, I guess, but but you got yeah, right,
- 10:52Speaker 1: you're awake.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I'm so awake, all right, Katie's.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Going on two hours of sleep, you guys.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Well, you know what it's.
- 11:00Speaker 1: You year?
- 11:00Speaker 3: Why shut?
- 11:07Speaker 2: Oh my goodness.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Okay, soppropriately, can we move on.
- 11:13Speaker 2: To the bear.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Bull?
- 11:20Speaker 2: It gives you wings? Sorry? Okay?
- 11:23Speaker 4: Anyway, Colorado Parks and Wildlife they responded to the Platte
- 11:27Speaker 4: Park neighborhood in Denver. We're talking Pennsylvania and Louisiana after
- 11:32Speaker 4: reports came in of a bear in a tree in Denver.
- 11:38Speaker 2: This is just wild to me, uh there.
- 11:42Speaker 4: So there were four bear attacks in Colorado made such
- 11:48Speaker 4: national news because in Aspen, snow Masks, Steamboat Springs, and
- 11:52Speaker 4: Eagle all had some bear reports because this severe drought
- 11:57Speaker 4: forcing animals to hunt harder for food. But four winters,
- 12:00Speaker 4: so that is why we're seeing all of these bears
- 12:03Speaker 4: just out and about. But yeah, there were four attacks
- 12:06Speaker 4: in one week across Colorado, and so that's what they're
- 12:09Speaker 4: really talking about, is how it's just ramped up in
- 12:12Speaker 4: one week across Colorado with this activity.
- 12:15Speaker 1: So there was one in my neighborhoods. It was on
- 12:18Speaker 1: next door. People were sharing pictures of it. So now
- 12:20Speaker 1: when I go outside, I've got to be careful with
- 12:22Speaker 1: my little dog.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Well, yes, absolutely, children be a lot more mindful because
- 12:27Speaker 4: they are out out again in record numbers.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I gave my daughter a hatchet to carry around.
- 12:32Speaker 2: That's smarter, you, you know, teaching me young y.
- 12:36Speaker 1: And she got a machete thing in her back, so
- 12:37Speaker 1: she pull it out, you know, like looks she's like,
- 12:43Speaker 1: bring it.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Bears, you kid.
- 12:47Speaker 4: Yeah, But honestly, it's really they're saying that. Like as
- 12:52Speaker 4: far as seeing them, it is everywhere.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It's not just we know that's all you talk about.
- 12:57Speaker 2: But Jeremy and a tree in Denver, a bear.
- 13:02Speaker 4: If you look at the video of them capturing it,
- 13:04Speaker 4: like the bear falls out of.
- 13:06Speaker 1: The tree, Well they tranquilized it.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Down goes the bear.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Anyway, what else gets crazy?
- 13:12Speaker 4: Okay, how about the Denver Museum of Nature and Science,
- 13:15Speaker 4: because this is big. They officially opened the newly renovated
- 13:18Speaker 4: Storm Family wing. Yeah, so yeah, the massive east wing transformation.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Twenty million dollar donation came in from the Storm Family Foundation.
- 13:29Speaker 4: So it was a really big deal that that big
- 13:31Speaker 4: of a you know, donation was put up for the
- 13:34Speaker 4: Denver Museum of Nature and Science. It was the largest
- 13:37Speaker 4: private gift in the museum's history.
- 13:40Speaker 2: So they're looking to open that new wing on.
- 13:42Speaker 4: Tuesday, September first, So they're going to have a big
- 13:45Speaker 4: old deal.
- 13:46Speaker 2: But have you ever been to that the Museum of
- 13:48Speaker 2: Nature and Science?
- 13:49Speaker 1: Oh? Absolutely, yeah, hundreds of times. So I love the
- 13:53Speaker 1: Hall of Life there is my favorite.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah.
- 13:55Speaker 4: So, like what's new in the wing is again the
- 13:58Speaker 4: Storm Family Wing. They're gonna have a curiosity lab in there.
- 14:01Speaker 4: There's going to be a classroom, community hub. Yeah, you
- 14:05Speaker 4: can ask all kinds of questions by sky Blue so much.
- 14:10Speaker 1: There's a cloud.
- 14:11Speaker 4: Way you already have questions.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Ready, Why does my dog keep look at his boy?
- 14:18Speaker 2: So smart of you, Jeremy, to have them wind up?
- 14:20Speaker 2: They also why does Katie keep talking about bear? Because
- 14:23Speaker 2: they're everywhere? I mean my Denver Jeremy. Okay.
- 14:28Speaker 4: So they also have this Infinity Theater there at the
- 14:31Speaker 4: Denver Museum of Nature and Science. So uh, it's uh,
- 14:34Speaker 4: it's got the advanced visual and sound upgrades in the
- 14:37Speaker 4: Infinity Theater.
- 14:38Speaker 2: So I believe that's just like all the way around, right.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Yeah, So they've got that in there as well as
- 14:44Speaker 4: an Infinity Lobby, so right when you come in, you're
- 14:47Speaker 4: gonna see all kinds of new stuff there in the
- 14:49Speaker 4: Storm Family Ring. And then they also have the Plaza
- 14:52Speaker 4: that they've added to the Storm Family Wing. So that's
- 14:55Speaker 4: a community gathering area. It connects seamlessly with City Park,
- 15:00Speaker 4: so it is kind of neat all the stuff that
- 15:02Speaker 4: they've added to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
- 15:05Speaker 4: If you get a chance to check out all of
- 15:07Speaker 4: the upgrades.
- 15:08Speaker 2: And then one more story.
- 15:09Speaker 4: So now you're gonna love this. It is the third
- 15:12Speaker 4: annual park Hill Cat Tour. Schedule for this Sunday. Okay,
- 15:16Speaker 4: so they have sessions.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Okay, one at nine, one at one, and one. It is.
- 15:21Speaker 2: I just love this so much. It's a free, whimsical
- 15:25Speaker 2: community event. One two. It brings cat lovers together.
- 15:29Speaker 4: And what you do is you walk around park Hill
- 15:33Speaker 4: and you admire the local felines that lounge and windows,
- 15:38Speaker 4: hang out on your porches, and ride along in pet strollers.
- 15:45Speaker 1: You would love it.
- 15:46Speaker 4: So you're just walking around park Hill looking in people's windows,
- 15:49Speaker 4: checking out their cats.
- 15:51Speaker 2: That is the Parkill Cat Tour.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Good.
- 15:55Speaker 2: I knew you would like it.
- 15:57Speaker 4: And if they're hanging out on the porch, they're just
- 16:00Speaker 4: riding along in the ped stroll around.
- 16:02Speaker 2: One is your prime cat.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Peep in time, all right, just saying yeah, there there's
- 16:07Speaker 4: your Maha.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Hype.
- 16:08Speaker 2: I liked it.
- 16:08Speaker 1: That's pretty good.
