The Rebellious Son That Never Was
In this episode, I explore the story of the "Ben Sorer U’Moreh" the rebellious son. At first glance, it seems almost impossible to understand. A child who is judged not only for what he has done, but for where his path might lead. And yet, The Sages tell us that this rebellious son never existed, and never will.
Perhaps there is a deeper truth hidden in that impossibility: the possibility that no Soul is ever truly lost. (Based on a teaching from R' Moshe Wolfson z"l)
