- 1:14What it brew, boo? What it brew, boo? Yeah. Episode 79, Alan. 79. Foolers with brews.
- 1:23Yeah. Well, it's kind of special because we're going down to Foolers Ball tomorrow.
- 1:26Yeah, we are. Yeah, we are going. Testing one, two. Oh, yeah, we're good. Go.
- 1:32We're good. Foolers Ball tomorrow. Yeah. Drecker's.
- 1:36It's going to be a good time down there. Right? Oh, it's always a good time. Yeah.
- 1:39We always have a good time. With possibly like 40 to 50 breweries down there.
- 1:44Oh my God, everybody's there.
- 1:45You know, some usual suspects like Atypical would be there.
- 1:49450 North. 450 North. Azula to Tennessee, which I love their PB&J mixtapes.
- 1:53Yep. Convert, Audison L's. Trippin' Animals.
- 1:57Oh my God, it's going to be amazing. Yep. Yeah, totally. I'm loving it.
- 2:03And it's going to be good. Oh, yeah. It's going to be good. Very good. I can't wait.
- 2:07Oh, episode 79 Brew Brothers podcast.
- 2:12Foolers with brews. Yeah. Paul's in the place, guys. Paul's here.
- 2:17Yo. What up, Paul? Not a whole lot. Why are you looking really white?
- 2:20Because that's my ethnicity.
- 2:23Yeah, you're looking white and shiny.
- 2:26I can't figure out that camera. I don't know. There's something wrong.
- 2:29We're going to get another camera. Fuck that. That's right. We're investing, Paul.
- 2:33We're going to invest. Let's do that. I don't know why. It's just that one.
- 2:36I know. It is just that one. Yeah. That one. That camera's like on its own thing.
- 2:40It's kind of like the camera's telling you like, fuck it. I'm do what I want to do.
- 2:42Yeah. I tried to mess with the white balance on it and stuff and I just can't seem to get it.
- 2:47Yeah. I'm a black man. Maybe I'll look white in it.
- 2:49Should we switch? Yeah. What are you, Drewski now? I'll be Drewski. Oh, fuck. Oh, God.
- 2:55Shout out to Drewski. That shit was, that was fucking classic, bro.
- 3:00Come on. Come on. That shit's so funny, bro. the best part about that is like
- 3:03he was trolling erica kirk oh my god she can't sue him she can't he is good
- 3:08at what he did like whoever was the makeup artist and whoever was that team
- 3:12did such a good job making him look white as shit oh my god white woman,
- 3:18He killed that, yeah. But it's funny because if you, like, there's other,
- 3:22like, someone put it out there.
- 3:23There's two other Republican candidates and, or, yeah, there's two other ones.
- 3:28And they both look the same as Drewski as Erica Kirk.
- 3:31Like, they look almost identical. And it's funny because they're cookie cutter
- 3:34white, white suburban soccer. It's hilarious.
- 3:38I love it because the fact that he nailed it without even trying.
- 3:40You know what? The stare. That was the one that got me.
- 3:44It was a dancing. Right away with the fight.
- 3:49So a lot of people they sit there and i i think
- 3:51they bitch about it because they're like you know even like that movie white
- 3:54chicks yeah yeah like what if you made a movie and you put on blackface yeah
- 3:58like robert downey jr did it already that's all right yeah and he nailed it
- 4:02you nailed it man you know what do you mean you people yeah right you know what
- 4:10it's weird it's weird you know like Like,
- 4:12you take some things, you make fun of it, and then all of a sudden,
- 4:15everybody gets in their feelings, you know.
- 4:18Feelings. All in my feelings. Come on, man.
- 4:22What was the thing they were talking about? He's like, you don't say Chinese's. Yeah, right?
- 4:30He's even more of a savage on, like, when he's on a show for,
- 4:32like, his label for people.
- 4:34He's like, no, get him out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just, that movie's great because
- 4:37they gave no fucks. No, they gave no fucks. You'd never go full retard. Yeah, right?
- 4:42No, the most stern, the most deadpan stern face I've ever seen.
- 4:47Like, no, give him, like, I would not be able to hold that. I'd crack myself up so fast.
- 4:51No, I, uh, I really liked, I really liked, uh, I really liked when,
- 4:55uh, Juski did the, the NASCAR guy, the country guy. Oh, that was the best.
- 4:59That was fucking bad. Everyone loved him so much.
- 5:02Like, he's been killing it, yo. Could you imagine trying to be on the set of
- 5:06Tropic Thunder? Oh, God. With all of them?
- 5:09Just, oh, God. How could you, like, keep a straight face? You can't.
- 5:13Listen, any comedy that's really good.
- 5:17It's really funny because I've seen like, like outtakes of like Chappelle or
- 5:21Eddie Murphy or, or, or anybody who's popular in, in, in the comedy thing with
- 5:28the funny stuff, the funny movies, all those guys,
- 5:31Robert Downey, the outtakes are like ridiculous.
- 5:36Like, cause everybody's trying to have a straight face. That's,
- 5:39that's the only thing that Saturday Night Live is like banking on now is when
- 5:42they try to get the, their, uh, the people on the show to crack up.
- 5:46Yeah. Because when they do that, it's like, it's way more funny.
- 5:48Because the jokes aren't even that good. Oh, it's when they do the news,
- 5:51those two guys. Oh, yeah, yeah. They're great. Yeah.
- 5:54It's the fact that he makes- That dude's married to Scarlett Johansson.
- 5:57Yes, yes, he is. And he'll roast his own wife.
- 5:59I'm like, this is priceless. He doesn't give a shit. No, but he knows, like, yeah, she's good.
- 6:06That shit was, I mean, listen, all I can say is brilliant.
- 6:10Congratulations, Drewski. I mean, he's almost like at 200 million views. I haven't seen it yet.
- 6:16Oh, my God. It's good. Like, he does the Erica Kirk stare. Like,
- 6:19he goes, like, and Jesus said this.
- 6:22You know how she stops and shit? It's so weird. Like, what is wrong with her, yo?
- 6:27All I can do is laugh. I'm like, what is wrong with her, yo?
- 6:30Like, everybody was laughing. Like, you know what? Even the people who are,
- 6:34like, conservative also, they were laughing too. They were like,
- 6:36that shit is bang on. Like, he did a great job.
- 6:39This shit was like, you got to look on my Facebook. I got a little link down
- 6:42on TikTok. Just press it.
- 6:44It's like, it's on the next level, man. Like, you will laugh.
- 6:47If you don't laugh, then you ain't funny.
- 6:49You don't have no laughter in your heart. I'm like, come on,
- 6:51man. This is fucking brilliant. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
- 6:54What are we drinking out early, man? You go hard. I cracked it open real fast. Jesus Christ.
- 6:59Hey, is this an elf here? It's a gnome. It's a gnome. Yeah. Oh,
- 7:05shout out to Whitey, the gnome.
- 7:07We have to send Whitey this, huh? So we are drinking out of Belgium. Yeah.
- 7:14This is Belgian beer. Huffles.
- 7:18I'm never going to say that right. It's a blonde. But it's a subproduct of Duval
- 7:22Company, which is a partnership with Holmegang, Schoof, Boulevard.
- 7:28Okay. There's two others, and we can't get them in here yet because they're not ready for this area.
- 7:34But this is a true traditional Belgian blonde ale. Yeah. What's the percentage on this, Alan?
- 7:39It's not strong. Well, sorry. All Belgian beers are strong. This is 8%.
- 7:43Yeah, because it has that Belgian quad kind of taste to it. Yeah.
- 7:46Like all true Belgian beers, I think the lowest is maybe six. Yeah.
- 7:50Depends on what you get. Like, have you ever had a Belgian quad before,
- 7:53Paul? You've had one. You just probably didn't know it was one you had. Yeah, probably.
- 7:56Yeah. They always have like a tinge of like. They're fig and caramel and like strawberry jam.
- 8:02Very. And they taste, you know, pretty strong. Like, you know,
- 8:06like a vodka. Yeah, I'm all excited. I mean, I don't think it's bad. No.
- 8:11It's just something different. Yeah, it's different. because you get a look
- 8:14again with like a lot of belgium like half of weisins or like blondes or anything
- 8:19you get that nice clove like.
- 8:21A little bit of spice, but you get a like. I say clove. Yeah.
- 8:24That's what I'm tasting. Yeah. The clove. Yeah. But you get banana and like orange zest.
- 8:29Yeah. This is delicious. It's the clove that I don't care for.
- 8:32Right. Like I used to try to smoke those clove cigarettes. And it's just the
- 8:35aroma too, but like once you get past that, it's fine. It's just,
- 8:38it throws around because like no one can pinpoint it. Yeah.
- 8:40I like it. It's like clove and like a little bit of spice, like baking spice
- 8:43a little bit. You guys remember those clove cigarettes? Yeah.
- 8:45Oh my God, were they bad. Oh, they were terrible. There's almost no filter and
- 8:49they were paper thin. So you get to smoke in like one shot.
- 8:51They hurt? Oh, they hurt to smoke. They burn bad. That's why I smoked cigarettes
- 8:55for 15 years. Oh, really?
- 8:56Yeah. My mom did it for like 20 years. I don't know how she stopped.
- 8:59Oh, shit. Like, I used to vape.
- 9:01Yeah, I stopped buying my mom's cigarettes at a certain age.
- 9:04Like when I was a teenager and I found out like what smoking could do to you.
- 9:07She was cool with it. I used to do, I've done clothes and I used to do Marlboro Reds a lot.
- 9:13Marlboro Reds? Yeah. You used to smoke cigarettes too? Ooh, cowboy killer. Yeah.
- 9:16And then I switched to Marlboro Lice. I'm like, Marlboro is very white.
- 9:20Why? Newport is, you know, I was a Turkish gold guy. I was Turkish gold.
- 9:25What about Rams or the spirits?
- 9:28Hey, my mom smoked Winston's 100s. The American spirits, they're just too hard
- 9:32to smoke. Yeah. They're worse.
- 9:34I mean, they were like trying to just pull off of them. You couldn't get anything. Oh, I know.
- 9:37Yeah. Like if you want a cigarette, it would last you like freaking 20 minutes.
- 9:40Yeah. You'd take, you'd take a little bit of time for them.
- 9:42I, I know more people around here that,
- 9:46openly admit to smoking Newports that are just country, that are country boys.
- 9:50I'm like, it's great. Newport was like the hood cigarette. Oh, it is.
- 9:53Like everybody in the hood. It's pretty, I think I started on Newports. Yeah.
- 9:57Yeah. Because I was menthols. Yeah. Yeah. You know, I'd get done smoking a backwood
- 10:01and then I'd have a, you know, I'd want that menthol as a dessert.
- 10:04Oh yeah. Oh yeah. It's that or you're taking swishers.
- 10:06Yeah. I used to do swishes and a Philly blunts when I was, you know,
- 10:09pouring out the tobacco and put some weed in. Oh, you're lacing it. Yeah.
- 10:13And then I'd chase it with my OE. Yeah. O-E-A-H-O-N-G, baby.
- 10:17That's the best part because, like, you always get the black backwards and you
- 10:20got the wood tip one so you get to at least slit it up open.
- 10:23Oh, yeah. And you can have the wood tip to smoke it right through perfectly.
- 10:26Yeah, you know, when I was growing up, the best part about that was I had a
- 10:29friend, his name is Shane.
- 10:30He was, like, the perfect roller.
- 10:33He could teach you how to roll the blood. That guy is, like,
- 10:38you know, raise a blade, pour everything out, weed all in there nicely.
- 10:45You know what I'm saying? I could roll one with one hand. Roll it.
- 10:49Do it. Hey, listen, did you know that at one time, Snoop Dogg hired a person
- 10:53to roll his blunts? Yeah.
- 10:55He paid a person like $1,000 a week to roll blunts. I knew that,
- 10:58but that doesn't shock me because it's Snoop Dogg. Yeah.
- 11:01Can you imagine having that job? What do you do? Just roll blunts for Snoop
- 11:04Dogg. That's what Willie Nelson would probably do, too. Willie Nelson.
- 11:07That's awesome, bro. What a job. Willie Nelson's probably had the same thing.
- 11:10Like, or same with, uh, who's the painter?
- 11:15Bob, uh, famous painter, Bob Ross paintings.
- 11:19Bob Ross? Really? Oh, he probably had to be a giant stoner. Oh, probably.
- 11:23Yeah. I don't know. Really? I figured he would just because like his painting
- 11:27would like just make it perfect.
- 11:29And he's so chill. I think I saw when they had Snoop on that MTV Cribs. Yeah.
- 11:34Yeah. When you walked into his place, you had like a big dish just full of joints
- 11:38and blunts that you. Oh, yeah. Like a candy jar.
- 11:41Yeah. You know what? Hey, listen, Snoop really is a serious smoker.
- 11:45Like he. There's no secret about that. He loves his weed. He has his own strand and stuff like that.
- 11:50I'm sure he invested in that early. I mean, who wouldn't invest in marijuana with Snoop Dogg?
- 11:56Yeah. Like, I mean, Snoop Dogg is the number one most popular rapper ever.
- 12:02Like, he's popular in every household. Like, grandmothers, grandparents from
- 12:07small town North Dakota know who Snoop Dogg is.
- 12:10You know what I mean? Like, that's how popular he is. He's like,
- 12:12he did a great job marketing himself. Oh, 100%. You know what?
- 12:15A awesome job. Look at him. He's in the Olympics, bro. Like,
- 12:18he's at every, the Winter Olympics, the Summer Olympics.
- 12:21The Summer Olympics this year is in LA, right?
- 12:24They're in LA this year. 28, yeah. Oh, 28. 28 in L.A. Come on,
- 12:29he's going to kill that, man.
- 12:30He's going to kill that. But, I mean, he made an image of himself that really nobody can copy.
- 12:35Nope. And they just buy him for his image. Oh, yeah. Martha Stewart.
- 12:40He had a cooking show with Martha Stewart. Who did FedTime. That had to be,
- 12:45like, the best time of his life. One of the best times. Yeah.
- 12:48And Martha's more of a gangster than he was. Yeah. You know what?
- 12:51She really said that he's actually her real friend. He's really,
- 12:54she's really friends with him.
- 12:55And she said she would do anything for the guy. She said he's a really amazing person.
- 12:59You know, if you get to know him, he's been married to the same woman for like
- 13:0230-something years. He's been with her forever.
- 13:04He's cheated on her 30 years. But it's okay. You know? Yeah,
- 13:08Eddie Murphy has a documentary out. He's just like a total family man now.
- 13:12Yeah, yeah. Well, he married some girl that's 30 years younger than him.
- 13:15I mean, you know, he's Eddie Murphy.
- 13:17Isn't that the same as the Williams Brothers, though, too? They're really like
- 13:19just down-to-earth people. Oh, totally.
- 13:21Yeah, Eddie Murphy's the shit. You know, when I was a kid, I told y'all,
- 13:24when I was a kid, I used to be at a bar down the street, Brothers,
- 13:28down the street from my projects where I lived at.
- 13:31And Eddie Murphy's uncle, Charlie, was one of the owners of it.
- 13:34So I know Charlie Murphy, not Charlie, Ray, Ray Murphy.
- 13:38Look it up, Ray. He's not a good looking guy. My mother always used to say if
- 13:41he was good looking, he'd be a better catch, but he's just ugly.
- 13:44And then the running joke from my mother was when Raymond Murphy tried to pick
- 13:47her up, she would say, Ray, you're not pretty enough for me. She used to tell him.
- 13:52I can't remember his name now, but there's a politician and he had just this line.
- 13:56He just coked somebody with it. I can't, I don't know if it was Tim Walls or
- 14:00somebody, but he said, I don't know if you're the dumbest person on earth,
- 14:06but you better hope they don't die. Oh, that's fucked up.
- 14:11You got it? Yeah. Wow. Is this another one? Yeah.
- 14:14Oh, another one with a gnome on it? Yeah. Is a gnome like the normal- It's their logo?
- 14:19It's their thing, yeah. I like it. I like it. So this is their, this is a lot lighter.
- 14:24This is Shuf. This is their IPA. Okay. This one actually is a huge gold award
- 14:27winning beer for them. Okay.
- 14:29But it's not, so more of the hops that they use are more subtle and light, but they're,
- 14:35They're very easy, but they're, they have a bright nose.
- 14:39Like it's very open on the nose, but you still get that Belgian yeast in there,
- 14:42which gives a nice rich character, but still not overly bitter.
- 14:47Like this is a good traditional, like European bitter or European IPA.
- 14:51One of the problems I've been having with IPAs when I go out is I get them and
- 14:53it's just like, I can, I can barely even finish one, but like this.
- 14:57Too hoppy, too hoppy. Yeah. But this is good.
- 15:00I like this. And that's the thing. Like we're the hybrid bastard of the world
- 15:02where we will, we will go over the top to play catch up to what European breweries
- 15:08have perfected over the years.
- 15:10This is an amazing beer. Yeah. Canada is still way behind us,
- 15:13but U.S. is the one that jumped up against everyone. I don't usually like IPAs. This is good. Yeah.
- 15:18It's a 9%er. Yeah. Holy shit. Yeah. It's a 9%er. Like this is 9%.
- 15:22Like these three are in a variety pack at Happy's.
- 15:26They just got back in. Like the variety pack is solid.
- 15:28How do you say the name, man? Shoof. Shoof.
- 15:36I was just thinking Kind of drop the ball I don't know if it would have been
- 15:40a thing But you know what the foolers ball,
- 15:45We should have been doing a remote there You know what we should have But you know what we're gonna,
- 15:51You know what we did drop the ball Because I do have an inside person there
- 15:55That's already there that's been there for a while Courtney Yeah I should have
- 15:58I should have, we spoke a week, a couple of weeks ago.
- 16:01We should definitely do that. But it's always a, you know, like we're going
- 16:04to do that more this year.
- 16:05Yeah. That's one of the biggest things that we want to do. We want to,
- 16:08we want to do more remotes and then, you know, just put it out there.
- 16:11I think, I think a lot of these breweries would start to sponsor the show too.
- 16:17Absolutely. If there was more remotes, you know what? Also, did you see how
- 16:19we got our new Facebook page going there? Yeah. I already got you like a thousand new followers. Yeah.
- 16:24Honestly. He said a thousand new followers. No, not yet. Not yet.
- 16:27Not yet. No, check it out. It's not a thousand yet.
- 16:30You sent a thousand. You sent a thousand requests. Oh, check this out.
- 16:33It's not there yet, right? I don't know.
- 16:36Right now we have 120. Just, you
- 16:39know, low number. Hey, look at my notifications. Go. Ready for this? Go.
- 16:43I'll be in. Followers. I love it. Look, all these orange ones?
- 16:48Yeah. Those are all your new followers. Yeah. It's not coming up yet.
- 16:52See that? Yeah. This just goes on and on and on.
- 16:55When I look through the... It's coming in quick. Yeah. When I look through the
- 16:58Brutalist notifications, Like there's shit tons.
- 17:01Yeah. Well, that's because I have like 5,000. Oh yeah.
- 17:05And I can keep doing that because you can invite a thousand at a time.
- 17:08That's what I did. Yeah. I got 4,000. So yeah, I was like, let me just invite
- 17:11people. So I can invite a thousand at a time.
- 17:13So I don't think that we should focus on Facebook at all. No,
- 17:16not really at all. But you know what though?
- 17:18I hear Facebook is one of those places where people think that you can't do
- 17:22well on it and you can't. Oh yeah. You still can.
- 17:25The thing that pisses me off, I was actually talking to Rose.
- 17:28He's going to be starting a show here on Monday. Right. Again,
- 17:30he's got a new digital dad.
- 17:32Digital dad? Yeah, it should be cool. What's it about? I guess we'll find out. Okay.
- 17:36But I think it's about dads that kind of like are involved in their child's life, but they're not.
- 17:42Like in person with them yeah oh they also they like
- 17:45they on oh they in jail yeah okay i got you yeah it's a dope show i'll fuck
- 17:49with that yeah some of them i know a lot of digital dads yeah but he was asking
- 17:54about tiktok and this is what's so stupid is that you can't stream on tiktok
- 17:59unless you have so many followers right and it's like well if i stream i'll get more followers,
- 18:04but if you don't let me stream how am i gonna get followers that's weird man
- 18:07yeah so i mean you got to come up with all those short form content things
- 18:10and i think you have to have like at least 10 000 just to
- 18:13be able to stream on tiktok crazy i think tiktok's taking a
- 18:16big beating now like it's not as it was it's not
- 18:18what it used to be i want a new one to come out because i dropped the
- 18:21ball on tiktok i dropped the ball on instagram right i dropped the ball on only
- 18:25fans you know the thing is i know people are still making money off youtube's
- 18:30like a lot of money off youtube but like shorts are where everyone's going i
- 18:33mean i'm on rumble but rumble is like that's got its own Yeah,
- 18:38YouTube Shorts is huge right now.
- 18:39But yeah, I agree with you. Rumble's kind of, it's, Rumble's a different kind of monster.
- 18:44Well, Rumble, I think is kind of turned into more of like a conservative type of platform.
- 18:48Yeah. It's in that very, it's in that very 1% of like red pill.
- 18:54Cause there was Twitch and then now kick a lot of, uh, people that were on Twitch
- 18:57are going over at kick cause apparently they got a better payout platform.
- 19:00Right. But you know, so maybe I'm dropping the ball on kick.
- 19:05But, I mean, got to figure out what the next new one is going to be and just
- 19:08be one of the founders of that shit.
- 19:11Yeah. Yeah, and that's the key. I mean, you got to figure out what's going to
- 19:15be hot and get on board before it gets too hot.
- 19:18And then that way, if you're in the door with them, you know,
- 19:21financially it works out good. Yeah. Yeah.
- 19:23I was looking at some show where one of these basketball players in the NBA,
- 19:28he got on with Uber early.
- 19:31He was down with Uber early before Uber was Uber, Uber now. That's what Ashton
- 19:34Kutcher did. Yeah. And it got men rolling in the money right now.
- 19:38I should have just got on OnlyFans and been like helicopter Paul.
- 19:43There you go. Something.
- 19:44Whatever works. Woo. Yeah. Whatever works. Shit. Listen, you know what?
- 19:50If the girls don't like me, the guys going to love me. So I'll be gay for a
- 19:54stay. I'll be gay OnlyFans. Yeah.
- 19:57I'll pretend to let guys are OnlyFans for a couple million dollars.
- 20:00Look, we talked about that for Backshot.
- 20:04Actually, there was a documentary on it. No sex, no sex, no sex.
- 20:07There was a documentary about when OnlyFans first came out, and there was a
- 20:12guy that was a male model on there, and he's got all these gay followers.
- 20:16And he's like, I'm not even gay. I'm not even gay. I don't care.
- 20:19Fuck that. Is it Johnny Sins? You got to ride with that shit, yo.
- 20:23Sometimes, listen, you might get a whole bunch of gay fans, guy fans.
- 20:26I'm not going to ride with that shit. But, you know, I'd be like,
- 20:28hey, how you doing, Alan?
- 20:29What's up, buddy? Want to see the big old donker here? I can't guarantee you, though.
- 20:34I can almost guarantee you he beat this meat for some gay guys, though.
- 20:38Hey, do you need him and the gay guy? It's all good. You know you're making
- 20:42a good pay check for that thing. Listen, man.
- 20:45Hey, Paul, you got to do what you got to do sometimes, man. I'm not gay,
- 20:48but 20 bucks is 20 bucks. Yeah, right?
- 20:51I do something strange and some change. If you put enough liquor in my system
- 20:55and give me some cash, I ain't mad.
- 20:57Exactly, right? So fuck, though. You know what I'm saying? I'll be like,
- 20:59hey, what you want to see, John?
- 21:02What you want to see? The more you pay, the more I play. You know what I'm saying?
- 21:08That's what you got to do. Jesus Christ. Right? Right? The more you pay,
- 21:11the more I play. That's just how, that's, that sound like your work.
- 21:15I'd do it, man. I'd do it. That's true. Hey, this, I'd do it.
- 21:17You just need your wails. That's it, man. I'd be wearing like a little,
- 21:20I'd wear anything. I don't care. Whatever. What y'all want me to wear today?
- 21:23You know? Look, I'll play with the bears in the gay community.
- 21:27They'll pay out, too. Yeah, exactly. Those big boys.
- 21:30Those big boys have no money. You know, people are homophobic these days.
- 21:34I mean, I'm not homophobic. I don't care, yo. If you're gay,
- 21:36you're gay. Whatever, you like girls, boys. I don't care. You know,
- 21:39I just thought of something that make a big...
- 21:42Totally off the wall and not even like a thing, but maybe it would be a thing.
- 21:46Like, so they say that they have these whales that, you know,
- 21:49give them just hundreds of thousands of dollars. Right.
- 21:52But maybe those people that are giving them hundreds of thousands of dollars
- 21:57are like using it for tax evasion.
- 22:00Probably. You know, like they, like they got millions and millions of dollars
- 22:04and they got to find a way to get rid of it, to show like that their expenses
- 22:08are going somewhere. Yeah. And so.
- 22:10I get it. Yeah. I totally get it, man. Yeah, I get it.
- 22:14Yeah. Hold on a second.
- 22:17What you got, Alan? So I got the next one up from Shoof. Shoof.
- 22:22We only got so much in from them, but it's good for what it is.
- 22:25I love their stuff. Oh, yeah.
- 22:27I got a text. My kids want to know when I'm going to go home because they want to dye eggs.
- 22:31I don't think I need to really be there for that. They want what? Dye Easter eggs.
- 22:35Dye Easter eggs? Yeah, you know it's Easter. You dye the eggs.
- 22:38Yeah, and you do an egg hunt. What, you haven't ever done that?
- 22:41No. Seriously? Your mom never knew that? No, I'm just fucking...
- 22:46Goddamn. I lived in the hood. We don't do that type of shit.
- 22:50You're talking about dye eggs, different colors. Yeah. Oh, yeah,
- 22:52yeah, yeah. We done it. But I'm like, I've done it with them years.
- 22:55I don't think I really need to be present for that.
- 22:57I mean, they... Yeah, Paul, that's a parent's thing. You should be there. Yeah.
- 23:00Come on, dad. Get over here. We want to dye eggs. I want you to be there to
- 23:03dye the eggs with us. I'm just taking some eggs that they want that they can.
- 23:06All right. Listen, Paul, you got to be there, right? You got to be present.
- 23:08Some things, you know what?
- 23:09To you, it may not be that important, but to the little kids,
- 23:12that shit is important. Well, no, I'm saying they can still dye eggs. I just don't know why.
- 23:15You got to be there. Okay. You got to dye the eggs with them,
- 23:17man. Sometimes, you know what?
- 23:18Trust me. It's like when you have your kids and they were little and,
- 23:22you know, what's your son's name? The youngest one.
- 23:25Hey, I can tell you right now, I can't remember a single time I dyed eggs with my parents.
- 23:29I know I did, but I couldn't tell you. A single time that I remember that.
- 23:33What's your youngest daughter's name?
- 23:35Sophia. Sophia. So sometimes you talk to Sophia. Hey, Sophia,
- 23:38baby, baby, daddy, daddy, right? You don't make that some damn mate.
- 23:42That shit sound crazy. But you got to do it.
- 23:46You know what I'm saying? We have to talk baby talk. And they're probably looking
- 23:49at us like, why are you talking like that? You know?
- 23:52Sometimes you got to, it's not looking stupid, but sometimes it's doing dumb shit.
- 23:58To us, it's dumb, but to kids, it's like the fucking world. Like,
- 24:00oh, yeah, my dad. You know, because they go to school and brag.
- 24:03Because there's some kids at school that ain't got no dads.
- 24:08That's real. That's real. That's some real shit. Some kids go to school like,
- 24:12my dad did eggs with me. We did the colored eggs this weekend. What'd your dad do?
- 24:16He went to the corner store to get eggs, milk, and cigarettes and just came back. Yeah.
- 24:22My dad's in prison. He watched me on camera do the eggs with the colored stuff, you know?
- 24:28I mean, some people don't show up, you know? Like, just be realistic.
- 24:31Some dads ain't there, goddammit, and some others ain't there either.
- 24:33Lately, actually, you know what? It's more women in jail than ever.
- 24:35So a lot of moms is absent.
- 24:38Yeah, man. Your parenting is on an all-time low right now. There's more grandparents
- 24:42in the world taking care of their kids' kids than ever.
- 24:45I believe it because of the fucking soft parenting or gentle parenting.
- 24:49And it's my generation for the millennials, and I fucking hate that shit because
- 24:52I don't like gentle parenting.
- 24:55Like, you can do it to a degree, but, like, fucking discipline the shit out of your kids.
- 24:59You millennials are fucking losers. Tan that ass. You should see the video that
- 25:04Taytaz out there. That hurts a little bit. It's fucking true.
- 25:07Even Lydia's the fucking losers, yo. To be fair, if you tagged up,
- 25:11to be fair, if you tagged up Gen X and the Millennials against Gen Z and Alphas, they're dead.
- 25:19Gen Z and Alphas are dead on the water. No doubt. It's true.
- 25:22So Tate has a, he's great at making shorts. Who's that?
- 25:26Enter Tate. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. he's just really good
- 25:29at uh like articulating himself to like just sound like to sound like you know
- 25:34like the toxic masculinity or whatever but he's like there is no such thing
- 25:39as deadbeat dads there are just women that won't shut the fuck up he's like.
- 25:48Thoughts and views expressed by Oh, what's up, Hunter?
- 25:53That's Hunter's discretion. But Hunter there? GFPD. He's the last police chief, Chief Nelson.
- 26:01That's his son. Oh, okay. He's also a police officer. Great guy.
- 26:03Awesome person. What's up, Hunter, man? Nice to see you, buddy.
- 26:06So he goes on and he says that all these deadbeat dads that don't want to come
- 26:10around, it's because they don't want to be around the woman.
- 26:15Like, if they came over and she had prepared dinner, had a hot meal,
- 26:19the kids were, like, playing and everything, like, he'd be, like,
- 26:23she'd be telling him to not be dad so much because he'd be coming around too often.
- 26:27True. But the problem is that he doesn't want to go there because he doesn't
- 26:30want to deal with the woman.
- 26:32You know, Tate's kind of chauvinistic. Yeah. He's the pig. Yeah.
- 26:37I get it. But yeah, you know, he's hit amiss with me because I believe he says
- 26:43shit to get spark something out of you. Yeah, I know. But I just get a kick out.
- 26:47He makes me laugh. Oh, 100%. He's super funny, super intelligent.
- 26:51I got a little bit of love for the guy.
- 26:53Love his work. I think those guys work their asses off to get to that point.
- 26:57Yeah, but you love him because he's the asshole.
- 26:59He'll just say it, but that's what everyone— A lot of people are mentally thinking
- 27:02that, too. I'm like, okay, shit, damn.
- 27:04I love people who say shit. that nobody's willing to say.
- 27:08And the Tates, it's a couple of them that just say, that guy Myron,
- 27:12you know Myron, that guy Myron. From Trash and Fade. Yeah, Myron.
- 27:15Myron's an asshole, bro.
- 27:17He's a fucking asshole. Wasn't he formerly FBI or something?
- 27:20Yeah, he was formerly FBI. Really? Yeah. He was formerly FBI. He was FBI for years.
- 27:24Myron says some shit that fucking
- 27:26pisses people off. Myron will call out a girl right in front of you.
- 27:30He'll say, you're just here because we got money.
- 27:32You're just here to just hook up with us. You're just here to see what you can
- 27:35get. You know when he went, Myron Gaines.
- 27:37Yeah, Myron Gaines. Yeah, Myron's good, you know.
- 27:39Well, even when Tate was doing that, he was on a yacht. Yeah.
- 27:43And he's going on about that. And then all of a sudden, a helicopter goes flying
- 27:48by overhead. So it kind of like, and he's like, sorry about that.
- 27:51It's the American government constantly spying on me.
- 27:55Probably true too, right? What the fuck? My God, yeah. I like Myron. Myron Gaines is funny.
- 28:00I think, you know, they're interesting. You know, like they've perfected.
- 28:05Pissing people off. Yep. I like that, yeah. I should have jumped on that wagon.
- 28:09And I could have made some money. There's a smart way to do it, you know?
- 28:13It's funny because the whole alpha male thing is the dumbest thing ever.
- 28:15Yeah, alpha male. I get it.
- 28:18There's certain levels to it. But, like, the one troll, that Wes Watson dude,
- 28:22what a fucking piece of shit troll that is. Yeah, he's a troll. Jesus. Totally a troll.
- 28:27No, you know what? I, man, I just, I don't know. I don't have a problem with
- 28:32none of those guys. I think those guys are funny.
- 28:34They make some good points But they definitely stir the pot But that's their
- 28:39niche That gets people's attention They found a lane and their lane is like
- 28:44Pissing people off and I love it It's like fuck,
- 28:47Why can't we get there at one point Piss people off a little bit But you know
- 28:51I get it It's like that whatever podcast Those are great That dude on there
- 28:56Andrew That dude on there is just Him and his wife call bullshit for what it is,
- 29:01He's a professional debater Yeah.
- 29:04Oh, really? His wife is like very much in the same ballpark too,
- 29:07except for she doesn't go as hard as he does because she's not on as much.
- 29:12But I mean, like even that Myron Gaines, I mean, you can...
- 29:15It's funny because they piss people off, but then, you know,
- 29:18he's like in an interview with his fiance or girlfriend saying that,
- 29:21yeah, you know, she'll still be with me, but I'm still going to bang other chicks
- 29:25and everything. And then like a month later, she dumps him.
- 29:27Did you see the documentary on Netflix of the Manosphere?
- 29:31Oh, no, I was watching Ben Shapiro do a review on it. Yeah. Oh,
- 29:35it's, I watched it. Jesus, it's cringy.
- 29:38It's funny, but it's so cringy, like to do that.
- 29:42I don't know. Oh, it is. It's Hamza. I got a kick out of it.
- 29:45That's his family. Oh, okay. Got a pretty kiss. Hi, girl. You know, yeah. Oh, man. Oh.
- 29:51Hi, little guy. It's just two little guys. That's awesome. They're awesome people, man.
- 29:55Liked them. He met his wife. I guess his wife, I think she used to be a dispatcher at 9-1-1. Oh.
- 30:01And, you know, and I guess when she sent him on a call, he came back and said,
- 30:05who was that girl with a nice voice? And he wifed her.
- 30:08My wife, I met her because she was bringing me shots. There you go.
- 30:11I met her bringing me shots. Shots fired.
- 30:17I'm not going to lie to that shot, girl. What were you drinking?
- 30:20Sorry, what were you drinking?
- 30:21Oh, shit. I don't even know back then. Oh, shit. But I knew that she was drinking
- 30:26tequila after work. Oh, yeah. Hell, yeah.
- 30:28Like, I met my wife at Bucks back in the day. Oh, you did? Oh, shit. Bucks.
- 30:34Wow. That brings back some memories. Right? Holy shit. Holy shit.
- 30:40But it started off with heavy drinking too. I see Schaaf has like all these
- 30:44different places, huh? Schaaf, Belgium, Schaaf, USA.
- 30:47Yeah. There's a couple of different hubs like New York.
- 30:49Schaaf, France, Schaaf, Spain. There's a couple of different regions around
- 30:53the world. But it's out of Belgium, right?
- 30:54Yeah. Nice. They're originally based, but. Originally based in Belgium.
- 30:56They have something like Duval or Duval's based out of a big branch. Yeah.
- 31:01Obviously Boulevard, Kansas. And then you got Omeganga, Couperstown,
- 31:05New York. Oh, nice. Schaaf is overseas.
- 31:07Oh, nice. But they do ship over here. I love it. And it comes from New York and then it hits down.
- 31:12Yeah. I love it. Yeah. Shoff, this is some good beer. This is my first time
- 31:15ever having a Shoff. So now we're drinking their traditional cherry sour.
- 31:20So this is a traditional Belgian Crick cherry sour. It's tart.
- 31:24It's light. It's a little sweet, but it's not overwhelming.
- 31:27This is what a traditional Belgian sour is.
- 31:318%er. But it doesn't drink like it. But it doesn't take like 8%.
- 31:34It's a, it's a natural, like dark cherry toastedness, but it's like a light
- 31:39sweetness, but this is what tradition is.
- 31:42This is delicious. This is what this, this is what it is.
- 31:46I think this might be one of my favorite beers we've had on the show.
- 31:48So this one is, this one is a silver award-winning medal from them.
- 31:51Nice. Oh man. I drink this every day. This one is silver in the world.
- 31:54Yeah. It's dope. Yeah. Where can you get this? I mean. Happy Harry's has all
- 31:58this stuff right now. Yeah.
- 31:59How can you get these things, these ones into a bar?
- 32:02You have to convince the bar to get them too, which sucks because they keg some of these too.
- 32:06And I would like to see in particularly jail beers or the tap room,
- 32:12get the Schoof cherry or the next one we're going to try, which is the Omegang Rosetta. Nice.
- 32:17Same style as the Schoof cherry.
- 32:20It's, but it's five, six, so it's Lori BV. That one is the more traditional
- 32:24Belgian sour, like cherry sour. what the tradition is because it's either used.
- 32:30Cherry, blackberry, or like any dark berry fruits. Right.
- 32:34What traditional cherry, what traditional sours are based off of. Right.
- 32:38If I were to get, what's a six pack of this?
- 32:41This Shoof, it only comes in 12 packs, so you get three, all three in the 12
- 32:45pack. You can't just get the one? Nope. Only variety pack right now. Damn it.
- 32:48You can't go wrong. But you're getting all three of them, so it's all in the
- 32:51variety pack. How much does it cost? Like 20 bucks for the variety pack.
- 32:53That's not bad. It's quality Debris, eight, nine percenters, Paul. No, yeah, I know.
- 32:57And $20 for a 12-pack, that's not bad. They all come individually,
- 33:00but right now they just brought, McKinnon has these, so McKinnon just got the
- 33:03variety pack just to bring them in.
- 33:05Nine, eight, and eight. And they're moving very well, so they're going to work on getting more.
- 33:09I would like to just get that cherry one, though, just for summer on the boat.
- 33:13Oh, yeah. Are they in the fridge?
- 33:15Warm shelf only. Warm shelf, warm shelf. I like it. It's delicious.
- 33:18For what they are, they're fantastic. Yeah. So it's called Shuff?
- 33:21Shuff Debris. Shuff. Shuff.
- 33:24Yep. You know what it kind of reminds me of? What? What are those?
- 33:26Those like those cough drops. Oh, the halls? No, no. The ones that everybody just eats like candy.
- 33:32And they have the little cherry on the box.
- 33:36What is that?
- 33:37Vic? Not Vic. No. Like kids love them.
- 33:40See, I was thinking, I was thinking the grandma's, like the grandma's candies,
- 33:44like the strawberry in them. And that's what I was thinking.
- 33:46Oh yeah, that works too. Yeah. But it's not. Those are one of my favorite candies too.
- 33:50And you can only find them with your grandma or they're in a bowl with the Withers
- 33:54Butterscotch. Oh yeah, I like those.
- 33:56And then they all come out in one big chunk. Yeah. But you're not mad.
- 33:59You're eating them all. Totally.
- 34:01Oh, I'm going to figure that out. We got to get a commitment.
- 34:02Hey, Paul, can we get the Holistic Hub commercial in today too? Yeah.
- 34:05Yeah, that'd be kind of good actually. shout out to Stu and his wife oh they're
- 34:11awesome I think they went away too they went to Mexico or something,
- 34:15Luden Luden's Luden's oh yeah Luden's reminds me of Luden's it's a good beer
- 34:20man holy shit yeah I like it shuff mm-hmm yeah delicious.
- 34:27And again it's a nice light it's a nice light tart sour yeah but you can crush
- 34:32these things left and right but they'll never come in cans it's only bottles for shuff,
- 34:36but that's fine yeah man you guys
- 34:39want to hear an off topic story really quick nothing's off
- 34:43topic yeah it's kind of so my son's
- 34:47sixth birthday is coming up yeah and he loves mario kart weed is that thomas
- 34:53yeah no connor but he's gotten really good at it thomas is what eight yeah and
- 34:57so i was thinking i'd like to get him a different mario kart game right and
- 35:02then i I was like, oh, I remember really liking Double Dash.
- 35:05And so I had to do a little research, and that was on the game, the Nintendo GameCube.
- 35:10And so I called up Rock 30 and so to get a GameCube over there,
- 35:16like a refurbished one is like 180 bucks.
- 35:18Right. And then I said, all right, well, do you have Mario Kart?
- 35:20You know, the double dash? And they're like, yeah, it's $120.
- 35:24God. It's a Mario Kart? Because it's like a collector's item now. Yeah.
- 35:28And so I texted my cousin because we used to play that all the time back at
- 35:33our, the old apartment. Right.
- 35:35And he was like, well, I think I still have your old GameCube.
- 35:39Oh. It's like, I think it's broken. It doesn't work. Right. And so he found
- 35:43it, opens the ejector thing on it.
- 35:47And Mario Kart is in it. What's inside of it. Oh, Mario Kart.
- 35:50Holy shit. Yep. Yeah. And so even if the council is broken, they said I can
- 35:54bring it in there and I can, they do a trade deal where they'll take the broken
- 35:57one and then they'll give you a new one for like half price. Duh.
- 36:00So I can get like a refurbished GameCube for like 80 bucks.
- 36:03And then I already got the Mario Kart, which is worth like 120 bucks now.
- 36:06Now I just got to get my cousin trying to figure out where he put the controllers
- 36:08in the other games. Yeah.
- 36:10Because why you wouldn't put them all in the same boxes?
- 36:12Yeah, that... I don't under... Tony, why wouldn't you just put them all in the same box? Yeah.
- 36:17Yeah. Very true. But I do like that I can play Mario Kart on my phone.
- 36:21Yeah, I can do that too. Really?
- 36:23My kids are always taking it. Oh, yeah, since I don't have any...
- 36:25I don't have a game station, I'll just play it. Where do you buy it at? On the App Store.
- 36:29It's free. Is it in iTunes too? Yeah. I wonder how much my Mario Kart on my
- 36:34Wii is. I wonder how much Mario Kart will cost for my PlayStation...
- 36:38You can't get it on play. Yeah, that's the other thing, because I was trying to find it for my Xbox.
- 36:41Yeah. It's exclusive to Nintendo. Yeah, you have to have Nintendo because they
- 36:45own everything, and they will never give up anything whatsoever.
- 36:48But I love the GameCube. The GameCube was, like, one of my favorite consoles.
- 36:51The Mario Kart, too. See, I didn't mind the GameCube, but I was always stuck on the 64.
- 36:55Yeah. Holy shit, that thing was fun. That's my shit, yeah. Woo.
- 36:58The GameCube was just a party one. I mean, it was a precursor to the Wii, I think. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
- 37:03On the GameCube, I would fucking love Smash Brothers no matter what. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
- 37:07I love it. Fuck. Yeah, I'm just hoping that he can find my Mario Golf game.
- 37:11Oh, that'd be sweet. I love playing Mario Golf. That was fun.
- 37:13Because that's one of the ones, the reason I like those kind of games is because
- 37:15you can just wait for your next turn up.
- 37:18So you can sit there and you can just do your own thing. And it's like,
- 37:20all right, you know, you're up next. Yep. I love it.
- 37:23It's the same with like, I would love, like I, there's a, there's a thing on
- 37:27Amazon, like a Super Nintendo, like a mini one you could purchase.
- 37:31Right. I just want to go back and play Donkey Kong, like old Super Mario 1, 2, 3. I love it.
- 37:37Just those games will never go out of date whatsoever.
- 37:40Yeah. Mainly so I can have Super Nintendo 2 and I can play Mortal Kombat.
- 37:43Oh, I love it. Yeah. I miss like Asteroids.
- 37:47Remember Asteroids? Oh yeah. Fuck, I was good in fucking Astros, man.
- 37:50I'd be in fucking the arcade all day off of fucking one quarter,
- 37:55rocking that bitch, you know what I'm saying? It's Star Fox, man.
- 37:58No, no, no. Star Fox was good. Yeah. And then the Galactica one,
- 38:02the Battlestar Galactica one was good.
- 38:04But man, Astroids, I was killing, and Space Invaders, I used to kill that shit, man.
- 38:09Those are real games. You know, this shit, I don't know what the fuck this shit is now.
- 38:13You know, everything's just shoot them up, bang, bang, kill everybody.
- 38:16Oh, let's go to war type of game.
- 38:18Like, what the fuck, man? My wife was, like, beating me up. She said that she
- 38:20was going to, like, donkey kick
- 38:21me or something. I told her I was going to donkey punch her. Oh, shit.
- 38:25She did not get the reference. Oh, that's even better. That's even better.
- 38:30Now, you should have just really, you should have really flipped this out.
- 38:32Donkey dick you now, girl. Shit, you don't know me.
- 38:36Shots fired. There's actually a movie out called Donkey Punch.
- 38:40Yep. Donkey what? Punch. Donkey punch. Do you know what a donkey punch is?
- 38:43No, what the fuck is a donkey punch? Really?
- 38:46When a donkey kicks you from behind or hit him on your dick?
- 38:48A donkey. Penis, penis, you know penis.
- 38:50Okay, so if there are children in the room, tell them we'll leave right now? Yeah.
- 38:55So a donkey punch, I'm telling you, they actually made a movie off of this,
- 38:58is when you're fucking somebody in the ass and then you punch them in the back
- 39:01of the neck to make them tighten up.
- 39:04Wow. Now this movie, this movie that they made, they have a couple of girls
- 39:10on this boat with like these three guys.
- 39:13Yeah. And the one guy is like hooking up and he does that and he ends up killing her.
- 39:17And so the rest of the movie is them trying to hide, like, how they're going
- 39:21to figure out how to, like, dispose of the body and not let her friends know and everything.
- 39:27It's an actual movie. God damn. That's the best part.
- 39:31Donkey punch is you having anal sex and punching somebody in the back of their neck. Yeah.
- 39:39Wow. I've learned some new shit today, yeah. I've learned some new shit today.
- 39:43Hold on. Let's send a video out.
- 39:47Alan, did you know what donkey punch mean? Yep.
- 39:51Paul, did you know what donkey punch mean? I'm going to explain it. He explained it.
- 39:55Everybody, donkey punch, donkey punch is a movie, and it is a term used that
- 40:02when you're having anal sex and somebody punches you in the back of your neck,
- 40:07you've been donkey punched.
- 40:09You heard that first here on the Brew Brothers podcast. And Paul,
- 40:13I don't know how the fuck he knows that, but he must be doing some wild shit at home.
- 40:17So, speaking of wild things that involve, like, backdoor activity,
- 40:21we're drinking something that involves more cherries. Oh, speaking of donkey.
- 40:26How did that transition? I don't know.
- 40:30Well, it could have been that or it could have been the milk.
- 40:32We all run on Allentine. Here you go. It worked.
- 40:36And I was about to say, I like this one, too, damn it. Oh, shit.
- 40:39So, this is another one. They should make a drink called Donkey Punch, right?
- 40:42They do, I guarantee that. Some breweries made one called Donkey Punch.
- 40:46Or there's a cocktail made Donkey Punch. It has to be a Donkey Punch. That's brilliant.
- 40:50And who came up with this? How?
- 40:53Someone got bored and said, I know what? I'm going to fucking,
- 40:55I'm bored and I'm just going to do something wild. It wasn't a brother, that's for sure.
- 40:59It's going to be the same thing as like a Bronco Buster. He said a Donkey Punch.
- 41:05You're just going to be fucking riding some chick from the back and your boys
- 41:09are going to be busting in the door. And the minute you get caught,
- 41:12you got to ride that thing for eight seconds.
- 41:15That's wild, yeah. That's your Bronco Buster. That sounds all wild,
- 41:18yeah. How do these shows always go down this road? I don't know.
- 41:23You can't let her buck. Yo, listen, hey. We're having fun. We're just, you know what?
- 41:28The transition kind of worked too, Paul. We just kind of just rode right into
- 41:31Donkey Punch to Cherries. We went from Donkey Kong to Donkey Punch. Yeah. I mean.
- 41:35Mario Kart to Donkey Kong to Donkey Punch to Cherries. And then Bronco Bustin'.
- 41:40And then Bronco Bustin'. Horse Riding.
- 41:42Horse Riding. Yeah. All that stuff. Yeah, that stuff. Yeah.
- 41:49What are we drinking, Alan? What are we drinking, man? We're drinking another
- 41:51Cherry Bomb from Omegang.
- 41:54So this is another affiliated family under Duval with the Schoof and Boulevard, which we'll have too.
- 41:59So Rosetta is a traditional Belgian...
- 42:02Cherry Kirk Sour. It's good too, man. Man, it's almost the same.
- 42:07Lower ABV, lighter body, but full flavor just as well.
- 42:11This is good. Yeah. This is the one I would like to. So this is like,
- 42:15if you would think of this, like the Dutchess used to be a heavy traditional
- 42:19sour as well, more cherry forward.
- 42:22Right. That one had more flavors like balsamic vinaigrette, like plum and fig.
- 42:25This is cherry with like a little bit of like fig-ish characteristics.
- 42:29Like you could smell a little bit more.
- 42:31Right. But straight cherry forward, but like, if you can pull different flavors,
- 42:34like what your nose thinks. Yeah.
- 42:36I like the other one better, but this one is still better. Oh yeah,
- 42:39but on tap, this would be a lot more friendlier. That one would just be one and every now and then.
- 42:43Yeah, and that one was also in a bottle too, so.
- 42:46But if you put that on tap with this one, people will go for this one a lot
- 42:50more because it's a lot easier to drink.
- 42:52Yeah, I could see that. It's not as sweet. Yep, and not as thick or as heavy
- 42:56as other people want. It's good, man. Yeah.
- 42:58I mean, some good beers, right, Paul? Oh, Omegang is a solid buster.
- 43:04Omegang's got nothing but good beers, but they're also traditional Belgian-based,
- 43:07but being based out of Cooperstown, New York.
- 43:09Yeah, Omegang is the shit, though. They don't miss very often.
- 43:12They hit all the time, just about.
- 43:15I mean, all their beers are just really good.
- 43:18If they got any bad beers, I haven't had one yet. So, I don't know.
- 43:22They're always good. The stouts are amazing. The barrel-y stuff is amazing.
- 43:26Their IPAs are really tasty. Their weird ones are their Saisons.
- 43:29And, like, they make a good Belgian amber, which is really good. Yeah.
- 43:33But their Saisons, because they're more earthy and aromatic,
- 43:35like, earth grit characteristics.
- 43:36Like, a little bit of dirt, a little bit of, like, floral notes with,
- 43:40like, fresh pollen and, like, spring notes to it.
- 43:45Yeah, I like it. But it's very bubbly and yeasty flavor. So you get a little
- 43:49bit of banana in there too, but they're heavier.
- 43:51Right. Then you add different flavors. They have a rosé or a cherry in there
- 43:54too, and it gives off a wildly different flavor.
- 43:57Yeah, it's a great beer. Yeah. It's brilliant.
- 44:00They don't miss, man. No. Omegang is a solid traditional backbone.
- 44:04Same with like Schoof and all these. Aren't they part of Anheuser-Busch too these days? Nope.
- 44:08They're all, these are all, Duval is, like I said, Boulevard, Omegang, Schoof.
- 44:14The bunch of them got together. Yep, but they're all one family.
- 44:17There's five breweries under one family named Duval. Right.
- 44:21But they're all under the most, of course, family base for the most part. Right.
- 44:26Oh, that's good then. Yeah. I like it. I mean, you know, you got to partner
- 44:29up these days, man. Yep, and you have to go into the big boys,
- 44:31so that's the only way for distribution.
- 44:33But these guys are big in Europe, no matter what, so they don't even open to get in the States.
- 44:37It's easier to partner up with a bigger distribution.
- 44:40Omegang's all overseas everywhere. Yep. Yeah, they're all overseas.
- 44:42And it's kind of cool because, you know, speaking of being like everywhere,
- 44:46Drecker, Drecker's everywhere, bro.
- 44:48Like I've been out of state and every state I've been to, you can find a Drecker
- 44:51beer. Yeah, but even you can find them in Okinawa, Japan.
- 44:54Yeah. Even in Guam. Yeah. Even in Guam, like you can find their beer overseas.
- 44:58Drecker's everywhere, bro.
- 44:59Like they've done a really good job of getting their beer everywhere.
- 45:02My buddy, Zach Brooks, he used to be around here back in the day and I used to work with him.
- 45:07He's now overseas in China and Japan. He's found a bunch of their beers over
- 45:11there. He sent me photos and I'm like, it's wild to see that, that there.
- 45:16Absolutely. So just, just show up, be out tonight, right?
- 45:19Put it out tonight because Foolish Boss tomorrow. He might as well just put
- 45:22it out tonight. Yeah, I can do it. What day is it? Today's Friday. Friday.
- 45:27Well, we have Icky Ichabod at 9. Icky Ichabod at 9? Okay, cool.
- 45:30But his is only about a half hour. Okay. So if anybody hasn't seen Icky Ichabod,
- 45:34his shows are great, by the way. Amazing.
- 45:36The one that is coming out tonight is actually one of my favorite ones.
- 45:40I kind of put a lot of input into it because he covered V for Vendetta.
- 45:44If you've ever seen that movie. Of course. Good movie.
- 45:46Great, great movie. It's been a while since I've seen that. I got to watch that. so yeah
- 45:49if you watch that yeah icky he's got an interesting take
- 45:53on shows that he kind of like old cult classic films
- 45:56you know okay you know you wouldn't think that v for vendetta is like
- 45:59old but came out in 2005 yeah that's dope yeah oh yeah a long time ago yeah
- 46:02yeah but then but that mask is very much as iconic as a guy fox oh yeah yes
- 46:08well the thing that i loved and i talked about this in the the show so just
- 46:11tune into it at nine tonight is that it came out in 2005 but it's almost like
- 46:16Like it was the precursor to COVID.
- 46:18Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know, with the way the whole storyline goes.
- 46:22Absolutely. Until you see the very end and when everything kind of ties together,
- 46:25it's like, damn, that's exactly what they did during COVID.
- 46:27Actually, you know, you could put it out tomorrow at one o'clock when we're at the Fool's Ball.
- 46:31So we could say that the show just came out today, right now,
- 46:34at the Fool's Ball. Oh, yes. Well, no, but everybody's going to be at the Fool's
- 46:38Ball. They're not going to watch it.
- 46:39They're listening on the way home. I don't care. Whatever.
- 46:43No, I don't care. I'm just trying to be all, you know, I'm trying to,
- 46:47trying to ask him an extra flair. It's just going wrong.
- 46:52It's going wrong. But yeah, no. Uh, yeah, whatever. But yeah,
- 46:55people, people definitely will be, it's going to be packed at the food as well.
- 46:58Well, hopefully you get to go, Paul.
- 47:00If not, we'll send you lots of pictures. Yeah. I have your ticket ready if you're ready.
- 47:06Yeah. Well, I'm going to take some convincing. Oh.
- 47:10Hold on. I got it. Yeah. If you're ready, Paul.
- 47:13Are you ready? Are you ready?
- 47:16Is it milk stout? Yep. So we're sticking with the same family from Schiff,
- 47:20Omegang, Boulevard, and well, now we are drinking Boulevard.
- 47:24I think I've had that. This is brand new.
- 47:27Yeah. Are you just sitting down chilling? Okay. Cool.
- 47:30Yeah that's fine you want some beer though okay cool wow that's why i came for
- 47:38the beer only for the bs for the beer yeah oh that looks thick that's what she
- 47:43said yeah hold on a second.
- 47:52Oh god do you know what a donkey punch is fucking michael scott yeah i've heard
- 47:57of it but i'm not I'm not sure what it is. Oh, okay.
- 47:59She doesn't know what it is. You always have to listen to the show.
- 48:01Yeah, you have to listen to the show, then.
- 48:03We'll talk about a Dougie Bunch later, huh?
- 48:06No. No, no. No, Google Doc. You got to hear it first. If you Google it,
- 48:11you take the fun out of it.
- 48:12Well, not only that, but who knows what else is going to come up.
- 48:14Yeah, that's, yeah. She won't drink the dog beer, will you?
- 48:17Will you drink the? She'll try it. Yeah, that's a try type of drink.
- 48:21If not, we'll take the rest of it. What are we drinking here,
- 48:23Allie? We are drinking Boulevard, another family under the Duval name with Schiff and Omegang.
- 48:29It is their new one released. It is a barrel-aged Irish cream stout in collaboration
- 48:35with Five Farms Cream Ale.
- 48:38Well, Five Farms, but they make a really good cream ale. Yeah, I like it.
- 48:43Yep. I've had it before. I think it's a really good beer.
- 48:46Yeah, I would say this just got released, which is solid. Yeah.
- 48:50Mmm, yeah, it's a good dessert one. Yeah, it's a leather.
- 48:53Well, yeah, but I wanted to tie it in the family before we round off.
- 48:58It's a barrel age, huh? Yep. Yeah. Nice 11 percenter.
- 49:0111 percenter. Yeah, now these are, these are going to go home shit face.
- 49:06Remember guys, I got to dye eggs. He's got to dye egg with his kids today. Yeah.
- 49:13See that? Dying eggs is essential. Well, we were talking about why his kids
- 49:17wanted to dye eggs, right? So what happened was he was wondering why he had to be there to do it.
- 49:22So I was like, well, that's the proper thing that a dad would do with his kids
- 49:26or a mother. Right, Paul?
- 49:27And then we realized that the reason why your kids want to die ex is when they
- 49:32go to school, they can tell the kids that don't have no fathers that they die next to their dad.
- 49:39Well, maybe I don't want to make those kids feel bad. It's not your job.
- 49:42That's your kid's job. Yeah, it's your kid's job.
- 49:46You don't know how kids are these days? Kids are assholes, bro.
- 49:49You should see my kids. They're total assholes. See that?
- 49:52Their job is to make those assholes feel bad. It's so bad because the two of
- 49:56them, they both have to be the boss.
- 49:59Oh, God. They're fighting all the time. And so all they do is they just fight
- 50:01constantly because they're going to make a fort in the basement and one has
- 50:07to have it their way and one has to have it their way. They can't just make their own forts. Right.
- 50:10They just got to sit there and constantly get in each other's faces and say,
- 50:13no, you got to do it this way. No, you got to do it that way until,
- 50:15you know, you go down there. and I, and then you yell, right?
- 50:18Yeah, I don't. Cut the shit! Yeah. No for that!
- 50:22Your brothers not supposed to fight each other as you get thrown,
- 50:26as some shit gets thrown at them. I know when me and my brothers used to like
- 50:29argue and fuss and fight.
- 50:31And my mother used to be like, you better have that same energy.
- 50:33When your brother get his butt kicked, you better jump in. I'm like,
- 50:36oh, damn, I got to jump in.
- 50:38Shit. All right, cool. I'm jumping in. I actually thought about, I was going to go on.
- 50:44I'm assuming you just get him on Amazon. I was going to get some Chinese finger traps. Right.
- 50:48And so I was going to put their fingers in the Chinese finger traps.
- 50:50Yeah. They're going to fight worse.
- 50:52Yeah, because they can't get away from each other. No. And then I got to tell
- 50:55them, look, you got to work together. Yeah. To get out.
- 50:59There you go. You know, you both got to give a little. Yeah.
- 51:03To be able to get along. Yeah, exactly.
- 51:07That's a good method. I think that's a good, smart thing to do.
- 51:09Either that, they'll just have their fingers tied and I'm just going to go do
- 51:14my thing and watch them just lock them in a room, right?
- 51:17Post the door behind you. Get both of their hands and just fucking do the index finger.
- 51:22They're going to be so mad. Oh, no. Yeah, I was going to do it to,
- 51:25yeah. So they'd be locked to each other.
- 51:27Yeah. Yeah. Like, don't like have them like do it themselves.
- 51:31Like, you know, like. Each kid.
- 51:32Like each kid is going to have their, probably do like all five fingers. That's hilarious.
- 51:37Fuck, man. That's hilarious. Oh, it's awesome. Kids probably self-destruct.
- 51:41They'd probably be going crazy. They're going to hit each other in the face like, you pull.
- 51:45Well, hopefully the one in Taekwondo doesn't know how to do a hip flip. God.
- 51:50That's Thomas, right? Yeah. He's going to judo throw. He's an older one.
- 51:53He's an older one. He's going to judo throw. But the little guy is tough, though. Oh, yeah.
- 51:57And he is dense. Oh, he's dense.
- 52:01He's a little shit disturbed, huh? That kid's going to— You know,
- 52:04I mean, like, have you ever picked up, like, a 50-pound, like, barbell?
- 52:12Yeah. Have you ever picked up a 50-pound kettlebell? Yeah. Yeah.
- 52:15Not the same. The density is not the same. He's like a kettlebell. Oh, okay.
- 52:19Yeah, you try to pick him up, think that he weighed 300 pounds.
- 52:22Oh, he's a pretty thick kid.
- 52:25He's, I did something about him. I mean, he's just like dead weight. Yeah.
- 52:28That's how it's going to feel when he sits, if he ever sits on someone and just
- 52:31starts wailing on him. Exactly. Right.
- 52:33He's not like overweight or anything. He's not like a fat kid.
- 52:35No. It's okay if he was fat, but you know what? He's just going to be one of
- 52:38those kids that he's solid. That's it.
- 52:41Yeah. He's just solid. Yeah. That's how it feels. And they're both dense.
- 52:44Yeah. I mean, mentality wise. Oh yeah.
- 52:49What are we drinking, Alan?
- 52:53Irish Stout. We are drinking Boulevard's
- 52:55Irish cream barrel-aged stout in collaboration with Five Farms.
- 53:00Yeah. It's rich. Yeah, it's too rich for me. That's very, very strong.
- 53:04Holy. Oh, strong, right, Dej?
- 53:05Yeah. Yeah. The first taste, I was like, all right, that's the thing,
- 53:09but there's no way I could drink a glass of this. No. Yeah, it's not nitro, too.
- 53:14I'm just glad I was able to share this. Yeah, some beers you're supposed to share. Yeah.
- 53:19I got some beers at home that are some strong ones, some barrel-aged.
- 53:23And I usually wait time with Alan and Eric to try them because I can't drink them by myself.
- 53:29I'm like, oh, I can't drink that. I still got the barrel-aged beer from Barrel
- 53:33Theory for the anniversary.
- 53:35Oh, wow. I still have the two. I think I still got one. I got one from Indeed and somewhere else.
- 53:39And then I got the one from KCBC still. and I have a wake-up stout from Dogfish.
- 53:47So we haven't even drank those yet. Especially when they're 18%.
- 53:50Yeah, what the hell am I going to drink an 18% of by myself?
- 53:53That reeks alcohol. You better just chill at home. Yeah, right, exactly. Dude, shit.
- 54:00I can't stay at home and drink like an 18% stout by myself. That's true.
- 54:05Just watch Invincible. I would say, I'm caught up to date. I've got to watch
- 54:09the newest episode, but oh, yes, you do.
- 54:11I'm already up today, but I'm waiting. I was going to watch it tonight.
- 54:15Yeah. You're going to be like, holy. Hey, I haven't caught a bit in Monarch yet.
- 54:22Oh, yeah. The new one should be out today. We're like three behind, right?
- 54:27Oh, wow. It's the fact that I love them together.
- 54:31It's the fact that the new season, when she started losing her powers,
- 54:34and I knew that even he was, they were in a relationship, and I knew that they
- 54:40were, like I had a with like.
- 54:42She's probably losing her powers. I'm like, the minute they started to dissolve,
- 54:44I'm like, she's got to be pregnant or something. Like, then they showed, like, what is this on?
- 54:50Amazon. Amazon? Was it called Invincible? Yeah. It's a, it's the,
- 54:53it's animated, but it is the shit.
- 54:56Yeah. But it's, it's what the, it's a better version of the boys in the sense
- 55:00that the boys comic books are
- 55:02good, but it's very, this is more dialed in better in quality. Oh yeah.
- 55:06But the boys was like, not animated. No, but the comic books were better.
- 55:11But the, this, is so much more well done.
- 55:14So if you, to just put it like in perspective, like, okay, it's an animated, you know, cartoon.
- 55:20Right. So, you know, but if you're watching it and you're like,
- 55:25all right, what's the big deal? What's the big deal?
- 55:26But then all of a sudden, like in the last like 15 minutes of the show,
- 55:31you're going to be like, oh shit.
- 55:34Yeah, I'm watching more of this. So is that good? So on the last episode,
- 55:39the big guy got away, right? Yep.
- 55:41So this episode That you're gonna watch Yeah Yeah Fuck Yeah Ah Yep That's Yeah
- 55:49So how many How many seasons is this?
- 55:52This is the fourth season Right now they're in So four seasons But if you look
- 55:55Like so Viltrumites Think of this like.
- 55:58The villager mites are basically a plague okay and they
- 56:01invade different plants to see like how they can breed and reproduce right
- 56:05but you don't see that until this current season you
- 56:08don't see how the backstory ends up but everything plays
- 56:11out in like it is nuts on how much violence and how much like true nature of
- 56:19like domination happens like two threats of survival happens right so I gotta
- 56:25see that I haven't watched invincible it's good it's really good huh Love it.
- 56:29Well, anyway, this is episode 79 Brew Brothers podcast. What do we call this one, Alan?
- 56:35Foolers and Brew. Foolers with Brew. Foolers with Brew. Because we are definitely
- 56:39dedicated to the Foolers Ball.

- 56:54Yeah. We'll try to get there. Anyway, we got a commercial ball?

- 57:58There we go. If you're going to exit the show for a second, just don't do it to go take a deucer.
- 58:05He just leaves us on high and dry while we're still drinking. Yeah.
- 58:09That's fine. You abandoned us, goddammit. Oh, sorry. We are not your kids.
- 58:13You can't treat us like a dad. I had to pee, guys, you know?
- 58:16I'm an old man. Sometimes old men got to go to the bathroom and pee all day.
- 58:20Did you have to empty your bag? Like, what took so long? Yeah. Yeah.
- 58:25Had to pull that sucker around, like, shit, empty it out, and then, yeah, it sucks, man.
- 58:31Sucks getting old, man. You know, when you get old, you got to pee all the time.
- 58:35Fuck, it sucks, man. Tell me about it. I've been doing Taekwondo.
- 58:39You've been getting your ass kicked left and right. Yeah, so apparently this
- 58:41is the thing. As you get older, your hip bones actually start to,
- 58:45like, fuse together. Yeah.
- 58:47What? Yeah. I'm not ready for that. You know what's weird, yo?
- 58:49I have a lot of friends, like, in their 50s that have had hip bones. replacements already.
- 58:56I mean, their hips are bad. I'm like, damn, you know. You shouldn't have that until your 50s. Yeah.
- 59:01But they're in their 50s, but some of them have been in their 40s,
- 59:04got hip replacement in their 40s. I know a couple of people from the military
- 59:08that have had like 25. I don't have hip problems.
- 59:11My hips are fine. No, but what I'm saying is that.
- 59:13My hips are like Shakira. You don't lie.
- 59:17No, what I'm saying though is that, so like, if you want to sit there and you
- 59:21want to like stretch to try to get to the splits. Yeah.
- 59:24Like, so when you get old.
- 59:27Your like hip bone and your pelvis, they start to like fuse together.
- 59:35Right. So even how, no matter how much stretching you do, the damage is already
- 59:39done and they're not going to
- 59:40go past where they've already decided that they're going to be fused at.
- 59:44The only way to probably do it is to break them.
- 59:47Oh, that's shit. That's crazy, man.
- 59:50It sounds painful to get old. Fuck. Yeah. I don't want to get old.
- 59:54How can we reverse this? I thought I was just going to go over there and kick somebody in the head.
- 59:57And I was like, nope, not happening. Yeah, that's not even going that high,
- 1:00:00right? No, it's not going nowhere. You got to kick him in a kneecap.
- 1:00:04No, thank you to that. I need you to come closer and crouch down so I can head kick you. Yeah, right?
- 1:00:09Yeah, bend down so I can kick you in your head. Do the work for me, please. Exactly.
- 1:00:13Now, what do you do? What are we drinking out here, man? This mango coach.
- 1:00:16We switched up. We're going to lighten it back up. Lighten it back up.
- 1:00:19So we're going to go to Shiner.
- 1:00:21What up? Back to the Spotsal Brewery. Spotsal. So this is Shiner's version of
- 1:00:27their nice light spring beer slash summer.
- 1:00:29If you want to get into that, it's going to be their mango culture beer.
- 1:00:32So nice traditional light German beer with a mango twist.
- 1:00:35It's initially, I think it tastes delicious. Yeah.
- 1:00:39But then it has kind of like a linger after that I'm not, I don't really care
- 1:00:43for. That's fair. But still good.
- 1:00:45But they're also traditional breweries too. So they're more German based.
- 1:00:49Yeah. When going down is delicious.
- 1:00:51And then it has that bad aftertaste. Yeah. I was kind of like a tin. Yeah. But it.
- 1:00:58I don't mind it. I'll still enjoy it for what it is. I'm not going to be mad.
- 1:01:01They did a good job. Is it syrup mango or real mango?
- 1:01:04It's probably syrup, right? No. Is it real? It's real mango.
- 1:01:06Real mango? Yep. I like it, though.
- 1:01:08I could taste a mango. You could smell it. I'll enjoy a good six-pack of that,
- 1:01:12but I won't. When I'm drinking it, it tastes good. Yeah.
- 1:01:15I agree with you. It's the aftertaste. Yeah, the aftertaste is like, eh.
- 1:01:18Yeah. It's kind of like, you know. Can live without it. Yeah.
- 1:01:20But good variant because they do a lot of different beers. Oh.
- 1:01:25Did you have some? Oh, shit. It's okay. There's one over there.
- 1:01:29Yeah, let her try it. Okay. She's had a tough work at week. I mean,
- 1:01:34work, week at work. Right?
- 1:01:37Exactly. I worked out way too hard today. I don't know what I was thinking.
- 1:01:40Yeah. Wow. Did that lady just give us a side look? Like, what's that going on over there?
- 1:01:45She's a hater. She's a hater. We got haters walking by on the outside sometimes,
- 1:01:49Paul. Holy. She's joking. John isn't even in here.
- 1:01:54They hate us because they ain't us. They like ain't us? They peanut butter and jealous.
- 1:02:00Yeah, they probably just know me. That's my favorite movie. You know that,
- 1:02:02right? What is it called again?
- 1:02:04The one with the Asian guy.
- 1:02:07The interview. Fuck, that's my favorite movie. Oh, my God.
- 1:02:12Yeah, what's the other guy? James Franco and Seth Rogen. James Franco is the
- 1:02:15fucking best. He'd be like this. He puts his hand on his pants. He goes...
- 1:02:21I got stink, dick.
- 1:02:25Yo, James Franco is hilarious in that shit. So it's a part of that movie where
- 1:02:31Seth Rogen is in the field and there's a tiger there in the field.
- 1:02:34And he has this big old cube that they shot over to them. And he has to hide
- 1:02:40it so he doesn't get caught.
- 1:02:41So he has to put it up his ass, up his anus.
- 1:02:46It is the best movie ever, yo. He's like, I haven't even seen it.
- 1:02:50Oh my god, you gotta see this movie This movie will make you laugh,
- 1:02:53like the whole movie is so funny He's like, put it up Put it up,
- 1:02:57you gotta put it up your ass, put it up there And then he puts it up his ass
- 1:03:00He says, there's a tiger in the field He goes,
- 1:03:03that tiger gets close James Franco to Seth Rogen, he goes When that tiger gets
- 1:03:06close You're gonna fucking cunt punt that tiger Cunt punt it.
- 1:03:13He's tripping The tiger's chasing Seth Rogen And then finally the Chinese military
- 1:03:18guys They catch Kim Jong-un, yeah, yeah.
- 1:03:21So he went over. Yeah, James Franklin went to interview. James Franklin was great.
- 1:03:25Oh, yeah, but it's fucking amazing, yo. It's the fact that they actually got
- 1:03:28to interview Kim Jong-un.
- 1:03:30Yeah, it was so good, yo.
- 1:03:32Nothing made sense to that whole thing, but it was great.
- 1:03:35This was a fucked up movie, but I think it was one of James Franklin's best
- 1:03:39movies. Did you ever see the one with him, Spring Break?
- 1:03:42Yeah, of course, yeah, of course. I love that movie. Great. Yeah,
- 1:03:45I love that fucking movie.
- 1:03:46It was like the most unadvertised, underrated movie. that he's ever done.
- 1:03:51Nobody even knows about it. The only other one I liked that was maybe as underrated was Annapolis.
- 1:03:56Okay, that was all right. That was all right. When he was a boxer with Tyrese. Yeah.
- 1:04:00Yo, Jay Franco's a shit, bro. Oh, yeah. I love Jay Franco. He's good looking, funny.
- 1:04:05Yeah, but he's hilarious, man. He's a good method actor, but he doesn't get
- 1:04:08enough recognition for what he does. You know what? He makes money.
- 1:04:11Who cares? He's even that spring break.
- 1:04:13Yeah. That's acting. Yes, he can act. He can act, bro. He can act. Huh?
- 1:04:18Why? What do you do? Did he sleep with some girls, smack her ass?
- 1:04:22Now that other guy, Rogan, won't even miss him.
- 1:04:26Oh, Seth Rogen, yeah. God, Seth Rogen's a puke. I think, I will agree with that.
- 1:04:30Wait, wait, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 1:04:32Isn't he Jewish? Yeah, but. Hey, whoa, we don't go that route.
- 1:04:35Yeah, but Seth Rogen, I'm agree. Seth Rogen is actually kind of a fucking bitch.
- 1:04:40Yeah, I don't like Seth Rogen at all. Seth, I like you.
- 1:04:43He goes both, he fucking argues both ways, and he likes to play nice to everyone,
- 1:04:49but. No, I just, I don't like.
- 1:04:52I don't think he's a good actor, and I can't stand his stupid laugh.
- 1:04:55The one I don't like. I can roll with that. I'm not a fan of Seth MacFarlane.
- 1:05:00That's the other one I'm not a fan of. Yeah, he's all right. Yeah.
- 1:05:04I like when he's actually acting as himself. Yeah. Like family guy and shit.
- 1:05:08I think that's all dumb. Kind of cool. Yeah.
- 1:05:10The only other one is Interstellar.
- 1:05:14Interstellar was good. Yes. Yeah, it was like a knockoff of Star Trek. Yeah, Interstellar.
- 1:05:19Look at that. The only other one that was not, I do not like him,
- 1:05:23and he's not funny, is Vince Vaughn. I think he sucks. Vince Vaughn? Yeah.
- 1:05:27Yeah. I'm not a huge fan of him. I know. His only good movie, I think, was Dodgeball.
- 1:05:31Did you ever see that movie? Dodgeball was a shit, yo. Yeah.
- 1:05:33Did you ever see that movie that was a knockoff of Star Trek with Tim Allen?
- 1:05:37Yeah. That was a great movie.
- 1:05:39Tim Allen was a good movie. I can't remember the name of it offhand,
- 1:05:42though. The one who just comes to it over here?
- 1:05:44Tim Allen's a good actor, though. He plays, he does what he does very well.
- 1:05:48Yeah. Well, tell me how. Tim Allen? Tim Allen's fucking brilliant.
- 1:05:50Yeah, but the only thing, like, he's in a new show called, uh.
- 1:05:54Last Man Standing was good, but he's got another one with, uh, Kat Von D in there.
- 1:05:58Or not Kat Von D, but, uh. Tim Allen's Tim the Two guy, right?
- 1:06:00Yeah. The Two guy. But he's got another one out with, uh.
- 1:06:03Tim the Cocaine deal. He got canceled too? Oh, shit. Okay, you get canceled
- 1:06:07for everything now, right? Last Man Standing. He's in time for a deal in cocaine.
- 1:06:10Like, lots of cocaine. Yeah, that's okay.
- 1:06:11Yeah. Why is James Franco canceled? What did he do?
- 1:06:15Turned out. For a girl, they weren't under 80. Yeah. He got accused.
- 1:06:19Like, never. Yeah. You know. Yeah. Because they didn't go approach him or anything.
- 1:06:24Well, these days, the accusation is all you need to be like. You got me toed. Yeah.
- 1:06:31Just the accusation alone, you're guilty. Like, you know, they can just say, hey, dad, dad, dad.
- 1:06:38And it's over. Your career is over. It doesn't even have to be true anymore.
- 1:06:42They just, if they make the accusation, you're screwed. Poor R. Kelly. Yeah.
- 1:06:48Hold on a second. Hold on a second. Those of the views expressed by Paul do
- 1:06:52not necessarily reflect those of the Boo Brothers.
- 1:06:55You know what? Your discretion is advised.
- 1:06:57I'm sure when R. Kelly was doing it, the girl was going, my mind is telling me no.
- 1:07:03My body is telling me yes. My body is telling me yes, baby.
- 1:07:09Wait, didn't the Boondocks make that document? Yes. They played that R.
- 1:07:12Kelly trial to the real thing.
- 1:07:14Listen, man, I ain't even going to lie. I think my kids was conceived when I
- 1:07:18was listening to R. Kelly.
- 1:07:19You know what I'm saying? Was he in the closet with the mask on?
- 1:07:22No. I mean, some of those songs, man. Pump and grind.
- 1:07:25You may be young, but you're ready.
- 1:07:31Ready to learn. Come on. R. Kelly's the music.
- 1:07:35No, no, no. We were both young. We were both teenagers.
- 1:07:40We thought we were ready, but we wasn't really ready. We didn't know what we
- 1:07:43was doing. You know what I'm saying?
- 1:07:45You know what? That's what he thought when he was a kid. He may be young, but he's ready.
- 1:07:49We don't know if that's true or not, okay? All right? Let's not document.
- 1:07:53He didn't go to jail for Aaliyah.
- 1:07:55Here's what we know is true. I'm double his advocate here, yo.
- 1:07:59R. Kelly's a great guy. Here's what we know is true, though,
- 1:08:02on a different note. After 22, it went all downhill, yeah.
- 1:08:07After you turned 22, it was all downhill. But the early R. Kelly was a really good guy, right?
- 1:08:14I think anyway, I don't know. Before 2003? Yeah, I don't know. Hey, fuck, yeah.
- 1:08:19You know when he fucked up when he made that Pied Piper song?
- 1:08:21I was like, fuck, what is he doing, bro? Like, Pied Piper has this little kid
- 1:08:24following you? Like, what's going on here, bro?
- 1:08:26That's how he's peeing on all the girls. Yeah, what the fuck?
- 1:08:29What was he peeing on girls for? How is that sexy? To him, it was.
- 1:08:34How is that sexy? How is urine sexy?
- 1:08:37Golden showers, I mean. Golden showers.
- 1:08:39Yeah, I guess, yeah. I mean, yeah. I mean, it could be Donkey Punch.
- 1:08:43Yeah, I mean, he's probably hanging out there with, you know, Diddy.
- 1:08:47I mean. Doodle and Diddy. They did. I mean, they kind of did the same thing.
- 1:08:52How is it the guys that made some of the greatest music are in jail for,
- 1:08:56like, being fucking pigs, yo?
- 1:08:58What happened? What happened? Two of my greatest heroes ever,
- 1:09:02Art Kelly and P. Diddy, are in jail.
- 1:09:05These guys, when I was a young black kid, I was like, I want to be just like
- 1:09:08those guys. You know what I'm saying? Oh, my God.
- 1:09:10Yeah, I know. Now I'm like, I don't want to be nothing like those guys.
- 1:09:15Now that I'm a grown man, I'm like, I don't want to be nothing like those guys.
- 1:09:18You look at Daniel. He named his record label appropriately called Bad Boy for Life.
- 1:09:21He labeled that thing appropriately. Well, it's Bad Boy Records.
- 1:09:24Yeah, but he made a song called Bad Boy for Life. Yeah, but he labeled it appropriately. Bad Boys.
- 1:09:29Remember that song? We ain't going nowhere.
- 1:09:34We ain't going nowhere. We gonna be bad now Cause we bad boys for life He also
- 1:09:41made a song called Hurricane called I Number One That was alright I was never a fan His music is corny,
- 1:09:49All about the Benjamins baby You know Seems like yesterday we used to lock the
- 1:09:55float I used to track you rock the float Come on bro come on I give credit to
- 1:10:01Faith Evans and Biggie on that one Every move I mean Come on,
- 1:10:05that was a shit right there, man.
- 1:10:08That was a shit, yo. Yo, listen, P. Diddy, you can't lie. Come on,
- 1:10:12he made, P. Diddy made a, he was with Mace, right?
- 1:10:15Been around the world and not, remember that? Harlem. Yeah, the Harlem stuff.
- 1:10:20Diddy was, listen, I was more into that gangster shit, you know, that H-Town music.
- 1:10:24Wow, somebody rockin' knockin' the boots.
- 1:10:29Remember that? Somebody rockin' knockin' the boots. Give me that.
- 1:10:34Hey, listen, you know what? I can't lie to you. I mean...
- 1:10:36He had his moment, you know. I'm just going to stick over. Rills got more carrots
- 1:10:40than a salad. That's what I listen to. I'm just going to stick over with Public Enemy, man.
- 1:10:45You know what? Diddy was my guy. Diddy was my guy, babe.
- 1:10:48You know, he was my guy for a second. And then I saw him whipping Cassie's ass.
- 1:10:53And I was like, oh, fuck. I cannot support you anymore, bro.
- 1:10:58I'm out of here, man. I was like, yo, I'm out of here, bro. I was like, yo, Diddy.
- 1:11:02No, actually, I had called him by his first name. Yo, Sean, we ain't cool no
- 1:11:05more. Yeah, but he was trying to Ray Rice the shit out of her.
- 1:11:08No, he Ray Rice the fuck out of her, yeah.
- 1:11:10I like Paul Wall. I like that smooth shit. Paul Wall. Yeah, Paul Wall's good.
- 1:11:14Fuck you. Bun B, UGK. Yeah.
- 1:11:17Yeah. I mean, a lot of it sounded the same. Yeah. Yeah, but I mean,
- 1:11:20it was good music and everything, but I mean, they wasn't beating nobody up, you know?
- 1:11:23Yeah. Although I think that rap in that era...
- 1:11:26Rappers were very manipulative, I think, in that era.
- 1:11:29And they were out there just doing wild shit. And I think they all was like
- 1:11:33out there just sleeping with whoever.
- 1:11:36They wasn't even asking girls if you was like over 18.
- 1:11:39Yeah, they were rock stars. I think a lot of them was fucking underage girls
- 1:11:42at that time. I really believe that.
- 1:11:46Because I grew up with girls in my neighborhood that they was under 18.
- 1:11:49And they didn't look under 18.
- 1:11:51They looked like grown-ass women. They're 28 trying to be. They're 28.
- 1:11:54They're actually. They were like 17.
- 1:11:56That's because you were not in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Exactly.
- 1:12:00In Grand Forks, they look like little kids, but girls in my neighborhood,
- 1:12:02I mean, you know, they're acting.
- 1:12:04Big booties and all that. They're really 14, acting 18, looking 28. Yeah.
- 1:12:10No, they would 18 be overage, but I think some of these girls are like 15,
- 1:12:1416, and they had grown-ass women bodies, and they were looking different.
- 1:12:19All they're saying is, can you call me? Can you be my daddy and pay my bills?
- 1:12:23That's exactly what they was doing, too. Because, you know, rappers,
- 1:12:26you know, the thing about rappers, they had to have, like, they had to have,
- 1:12:30like, they wife, they side chick, they young chick, maybe old chick.
- 1:12:34This sounds like the game. Yeah, there you go.
- 1:12:40That's what it was, right? Stats fired. I mean, back in those days,
- 1:12:46man, rappers were, like, rock stars, man.
- 1:12:48They were, like, remember, like, Run DMC, they were hanging out with,
- 1:12:51like, Aerosmith. We're like, walk this way.
- 1:12:53You know, there was the shit. The Beastie Boys was the shit.
- 1:12:57It was really crazy. But you don't ever hear about the Beastie Boys doing some foul shit, right? No.
- 1:13:01You know, they were cool. They were just chilling. You know,
- 1:13:03we don't know what they did. Yeah. Because they got a pass. Yeah, they got a pass.
- 1:13:10White power. I'm just joking.
- 1:13:15Shout out to the Beastie Boys. One of them died, too. At Rock, I think he died.
- 1:13:19Great group. I loved it. Did you like the Beastie Boys? Hell yeah.
- 1:13:23Yeah, they were the shit, yo. They're from Brooklyn, you know that.
- 1:13:25So, you know, we definitely claimed them. Yeah, but they're so good. They're good, bro.
- 1:13:29Their biggest hit today is still Sabotage, but after that. Oh,
- 1:13:32no, Brass Monkey's the shit. Brass Monkey's good, but Brass Monkey's dumb.
- 1:13:35Brass Monkey's like a cult following. Yeah, I know, but Brass Monkey's like
- 1:13:38one of their worst songs. But you know what, though? Brass Monkey is actually
- 1:13:40a real licker. Yeah, but it's O.E.
- 1:13:44It's O.E. It's Cobra and orange juice. No, no.
- 1:13:47Brass Monkey's actually a real drink. I know, but I mean, they start off as
- 1:13:50Cobra and orange juice mixed together.
- 1:13:51And then they made a real drink. And then I was in Mexico one year,
- 1:13:55and a mother and her daughter got the Brass Monkey tattooed on their ankles.
- 1:13:59Oh, my God. So they had like a monkey with wings or something like that?
- 1:14:02I was like, what the fuck?
- 1:14:03What is that from the fucking Wizard of Oz? So Fight for the Right was obviously their big hit.
- 1:14:07But I think I'm going to agree with you. I think Sabotage was...
- 1:14:09Oh, no. I like Instagalactica.
- 1:14:15After Sabotage, it's intergalactic.
- 1:14:19Yeah, I like intergalactic. Intergalactic is my shit. Oh, the video is the best.
- 1:14:22Yeah, the video is dope, yeah. No, they got some of their old,
- 1:14:25I can't remember the names, but their older school stuff is way better. Oh, yeah.
- 1:14:28When they were actually like good freestyling. Like intergalactic,
- 1:14:30when they started going down that goofy road, I didn't like it.
- 1:14:32Yeah, but in terms of like radio friendly, they hit it where they needed to
- 1:14:35hit. Yeah, I guess so. Yeah.
- 1:14:38I'm trying to think it was, it was another black guy.
- 1:14:41Black group. What were they called? The Gas Face. You know who made the Gas
- 1:14:45Face? Okay, the name of them was MC Search and Pete Nice.
- 1:14:49So Gas Face. Let me see. There was two white guys from New York.
- 1:14:54Gas Face. Third Base. Never heard of Third Base? Third Base?
- 1:14:57So Third Base was MC Search and Pete Nice.
- 1:15:02So MC Search, they actually came in the game. They actually began to be record
- 1:15:08executives. So you know the rapper Nas?
- 1:15:10Yeah. So Nas was signed to the MC Search. Like he signed Nas to his like record
- 1:15:15label on the low or whatever.
- 1:15:17But you got to listen to the MC Search. MC Search and Pete Nice.
- 1:15:20Dope. Like MC Search was more like a lyricist. And Pete Nice was the white dude who wore suits and shit.
- 1:15:26He rapped his cool suits with his rings on his hand and gold chains and stuff.
- 1:15:30You know, rapping was an image too. You know what I mean? Like it was an image.
- 1:15:34Like when I was young, basketball players, we wanted to be rappers.
- 1:15:38And the rappers wanted to be basketball players. You know what I'm saying?
- 1:15:40I mean, that's how it was where I grew up at.
- 1:15:42See, I always had mixed feelings about the two different, I guess maybe call
- 1:15:47them genres or whatever.
- 1:15:48Right. So I always like the lyrics and the style of, say, somebody like A Tribe Called Quest.
- 1:15:56I love A Tribe Called Quest. Yes, my shit. But the thing I didn't like about
- 1:15:59them and the Wu-Tang Clan is none of them had the deep bass like you got from
- 1:16:05the harder gangster rap.
- 1:16:07Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, like if I'm in my car. You're talking about the 808s. The 808 beats.
- 1:16:12Yeah, the 808 beats. So, like when I had a PT loser. Yeah. And I had three 10s in the back. PT loser.
- 1:16:19But I had three 10s in the back. Yeah. And, you know, listening to,
- 1:16:21you know, like Tribe and all that. Hey, nothing but a G. That shit hits.
- 1:16:25And Wu-Tang, that shit hits with three 10s. Right. Yeah.
- 1:16:28If you're listening to, like, you know, Paul Wall or some of that, you know.
- 1:16:33Ain't nothing but a G thing, baby. You want that low, you know,
- 1:16:36you want, like, that 15-inch.
- 1:16:38That's because they used the 808 bass drum, you know, that certain sound.
- 1:16:42Yeah. So that's why they sound so full.
- 1:16:45Because Wu-Tang was more like drums.
- 1:16:47Yeah, but I always liked the lyrics and everything and the style better,
- 1:16:52but they just never had that low-hitting bass.
- 1:16:54But you have to remember where I'm from in New York City, New York City rappers
- 1:16:58We're all about lyrics Yeah That's our thing Lyrics is big In New York City
- 1:17:02Because you're good before your subs Yeah Lyrics is huge.
- 1:17:05You can't Listen You can't be a wack rapper In New York You gotta come with
- 1:17:09those bars You know what I'm saying You gotta say some shit That everybody go
- 1:17:11like Ooh You said that Like that was some dope shit You know like That's what
- 1:17:15it was But I mean That's what all rappers You know what I've been I've been
- 1:17:19digging lately What's that?
- 1:17:21Deep House I just chill with that shit Like house music?
- 1:17:24That was like It's called Deep House Deep House song that
- 1:17:27is like the genre i guess that's what they call
- 1:17:30it you can't play it on air huh no can't play oh yeah can't
- 1:17:33play it on air we'll listen to it later it's a deep house but i like i
- 1:17:36like house music but i don't never get but it's not like that it's not that
- 1:17:41shit i like that fist pumping shit though i like that shit i don't know yeah
- 1:17:45i do but i want to go to one of those festivals where they'd be like an edm
- 1:17:48show so the whole show like everybody's just jumping up in the I want to go to one of the shows.
- 1:17:54I guess the difference between deep house and regular house would be like house
- 1:17:58music is like, you know, you go, you see the lasers, y'all dancing and everything.
- 1:18:02Deep house is more of that. Like, you just kind of like chill.
- 1:18:05Like a vibe. Like a vibe. Yeah. Like a vibe. It's restaurant.
- 1:18:08It's modern restaurant vibe music.
- 1:18:10Okay. Modern restaurant. I have, I have a playlist. I can tell you what it is. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.
- 1:18:16That's Alan's. Alan knows what he's talking about. Apparently I love elevator music. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:18:22What was the last drink that I drank? The girl from Ipanema. Yep.
- 1:18:27What do you want to do next with whatever? We've got to wrap this up,
- 1:18:30too. Yeah. I got it. You know what, Alan? Let's drink that one last.
- 1:18:33Okay. We'll do a hard salsa. Let's try the hard salsa. We'll do a salsa.
- 1:18:36Dave, I think you might like this, too, Dave. Jurassic Measures.
- 1:18:40They always make good beers. It's a hard salsa.
- 1:18:43It's mango coconut.
- 1:18:46And mango man is the name of the beer, and it's fucking frothy.
- 1:18:50It's frothy. You know, I really wish that they could do something about that copyrights crap.
- 1:18:54Yeah. Because, like, I was live streaming figure skating. Yeah.
- 1:18:58And it got taken down because they were figure skating to copyrighted music.
- 1:19:05But it's like, we're just videotaping kids figure skating.
- 1:19:09There should be, like, some type of, like, barrier or something that you could be able to be like,
- 1:19:15all right i get the rights to playing a video of my daughter doing figure skating
- 1:19:21to you know yeah that's dmx yeah it's kind of weird the dmx that'd be darn dope actually Yeah,
- 1:19:27I can't go by some. Arr, arr, arr. Turn, turn, turn.
- 1:19:30Turn, turn, turn. Where was that? Where was this one?
- 1:19:36Where did this one from my neighbor? Stop.
- 1:19:41Stop drop i know hold up i love dmx His name's like, there was Tisha,
- 1:19:47Makisha, Don, and Keisha, Tisha, Tisha, Tisha, at least three Dons,
- 1:19:52you know what I'm saying?
- 1:19:53At least three Kims, you know? By far one of the best. Yo, DMX is hard, yo.
- 1:19:58Flesh of my flesh, blood of my blood. Hey, listen. That album,
- 1:20:01Flesh of my flesh, blood of my blood went hard.
- 1:20:02Oh, that shit is hard. Remember that? Oh, my God. Nobody had a song in there
- 1:20:05with Mary J. Blige? Yeah. With the pianos?
- 1:20:09I can't remember the name of the song, but that shit is hard, yo. Like, dude.
- 1:20:12DMX is hard, bro. I fucked up a lot of shit listening to DMX.
- 1:20:15Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Hell, yeah. DMX. Hell, yeah.
- 1:20:18Fuck me. Yo, DMX is that shit, man. Like, I already know. Like,
- 1:20:22I already know Paul and Alan. Hey, we got orange juice. Yeah. Yeah. Pretty much.
- 1:20:25I already know Paul and Alan. You know, when y'all was young and y'all was listening to DMX and to Dr.
- 1:20:33Dre and Snoop, y'all was saying the N-word in the mirror. I get it, bro.
- 1:20:37You know what I'm saying? You was at home. Y'all was saying that shit at home. I got it.
- 1:20:42Bullshit. In the mirror, all my white guy friends, they was like,
- 1:20:46yeah, I was saying that shit in the mirror.
- 1:20:48But I haven't seen that shit at home. Not me. He said, not me.
- 1:20:51Not me. Paul, I'm surprised, yo. You know what? I'm going to give you a shotgun for that.
- 1:20:55Here you go. Here's all of restaurant music.
- 1:20:59You can't play it on air, Alan. I don't.
- 1:21:01Yeah, you can't play it. We don't want to get copywritten. We got to play it off here, Alan.
- 1:21:06Fine. God damn it. Yeah, we'd be listening. We'd be at like a kegger and we'd
- 1:21:10be listening to DMX and like we just pick up their TV and just smash it on the
- 1:21:13ground and shit like that. Remember that song?
- 1:21:16What these neighbors were for my neighbor.
- 1:21:19I got all my coworkers. Instead of saying the N word, they say neighbor.
- 1:21:23We just drop the N and put a W. No, he said put a W, Wigger.
- 1:21:29That's the whitest thing ever yo it's the best what these wickers want from a wicker,
- 1:21:36that is so white yeah but no my co-workers all my young kids at work they all say neighbor,
- 1:21:42so sometimes in the morning they go what up neighbor i'm like what's up neighbor
- 1:21:46you know it's the hey thanks for the orange juice yeah it's his early it's his
- 1:21:50later songs like where the hood at yeah good banger you know what this tastes
- 1:21:53like a push-up a push-up is it
- 1:21:56I have a push-up right here. Oh, really? Yeah. Oh.
- 1:22:02It even has like the thing that hits your lip like a push-up.
- 1:22:06Oh, wow. Yeah. Wait, wait, wait.
- 1:22:10Don't wait. Don't wait. Don't wait. We got to get a picture.
- 1:22:13Yeah, ready? Ready? One, two, three. That's hilarious.
- 1:22:19Yeah, look. Fuck that. That's a great picture, yeah. It's a one of you milk. That is a mustache.
- 1:22:27Hey, is it Dale's birthday? Is it? I don't know. That's what my calendar says. April 2nd? April 2nd?
- 1:22:33That's April 3rd, bro. No, it should be tomorrow. Yeah. According to my...
- 1:22:37This is April 3rd. Yeah, I think it says April 4th. Oh, so tomorrow should be
- 1:22:42his birthday. Cool. I don't fucking know.
- 1:22:45What do you think of that beer? Like it? It's good.
- 1:22:48It's a seltzer, actually. But it's Mango Mayhem, Fruited Seltzer,
- 1:22:54Fantastic Mess. They always make good beer, though. They always make good stuff.
- 1:22:58Did you like it? It was okay? I liked it. They've had some ones that flopped,
- 1:23:02but this is one of the better ones. I know they've had.
- 1:23:04Sorry, I'm thinking Talking Water is the Mango Green. talking water.
- 1:23:08The habanero cream, that was bad.
- 1:23:09That was bad, yeah. Habanero. Remember we had the habanero beer?
- 1:23:12Oh, God, it was awful. It was awful. Yeah, that wasn't good.
- 1:23:15Is that our last one of the day, Alan, or what? You want to end on another push
- 1:23:19pop? What you want to end on? We can do another one.
- 1:23:21We'll do a push pop. My kids want pizza, so I think I can just order a pizza
- 1:23:24and then... They want Pizza Hut?
- 1:23:26Well, just pizza in general. Oh, where do you usually get pizza from?
- 1:23:29Usually Popolinos. I think they have the best crust. Where's Popolinos at?
- 1:23:33Where's that at? On Demers, right across Kitty Corner from Burger Time.
- 1:23:37Popolinos I should try that We never tried Popolinos Popolinos is good I think
- 1:23:40they got the best crust And I'm a crust guy You're a crust guy,
- 1:23:44Besides them I like Pop Murphy's I think Pop Murphy Oh no But Pop Murphy You
- 1:23:49have to pick up Yeah But I'm okay,
- 1:23:51You gotta pick it up And cook it But I'm okay with that But if I'm going to
- 1:23:55go I like Popolinos a lot But Papa John's They went under Yeah,
- 1:24:01Oh, really? They're not here anymore, are they? No, they're still there.
- 1:24:03I think they are. No, over by Conklin's or whatever it's called.
- 1:24:06Oh, yeah? Conklin's? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:24:08No, I heard. No, it's empty. Oh, shit. That shit happens, man.
- 1:24:11They'll still take your order, but the shit's empty. Oh, shit.
- 1:24:16You said Popolino's? Yep. Where's that at? 246 Pops.
- 1:24:20246 Pops? 746 Pops. 746 Pops. Okay, we have to order some pizza from you. I never had to do that.
- 1:24:25All kinds of cool pizza or what? Yeah. All right, I'm checking out,
- 1:24:27man. They're a pizza place.
- 1:24:31I'm going to be honest. We love rhombus guys. See, rhombus guys. That's expensive.
- 1:24:37That's gourmet. I consider that gourmet pizza. That's bougie.
- 1:24:41Yeah, it's bougie pizza.
- 1:24:44Okay. See, the thing that makes me- I'm bougie. The thing that pisses me off
- 1:24:48is that Domino's is a block and a half away from my house.
- 1:24:52I literally just walk there and get a pizza, but it's my least favorite pizza.
- 1:24:56You're talking about the one near the South Gate?
- 1:24:59Yeah, yeah. But the thing is, because Domino's, they put so much seasoning on
- 1:25:04their pizzas, and any time you get it, they have no separation between the toppings and the crust.
- 1:25:10Right. So as soon as you try to pick it up, everything just falls off.
- 1:25:14Oh, see, I haven't eaten Domino's in years. I hate Domino's.
- 1:25:17I don't believe in this. I go back and forth.
- 1:25:20In terms of fast food, between- Man, it's a stick. Look at that.
- 1:25:22I know. Between Domino's and pizza, and I-
- 1:25:27Fast food, Domino's is not bad, but I've gotten back into Pizza Hut lately.
- 1:25:33Yeah, except they don't have anybody to ever deliver. No, but I like the fact
- 1:25:36that they have a New York-style pizza.
- 1:25:37Like, it's a good New York-style pizza for what they are. So,
- 1:25:39what, Pizza Hut? Yeah, for what they are, they have a good New York-style pizza.
- 1:25:41A lot of people from jail I worked at. I don't know if my food's going to come back good or not.
- 1:25:44So, you're like, Shannon Shell. Oh, that must be, oh, hell no.
- 1:25:47We're going to put some boogers on his pizza.
- 1:25:50See, pizza, they got the box dinner, which is great.
- 1:25:53Oh, hell yeah. You get two pizzas, breadsticks, and wings, like,
- 1:25:56all just in one box. Fantastic. That Pizza Hut? Yeah.
- 1:25:59But the thing is, I usually go either Popolino's or Marco's.
- 1:26:02Marco's has been on point lately.
- 1:26:04Marco's down the street from my house. I like Marco's. I actually eat Marco's
- 1:26:07every now and then, but it depends who's making the pussy.
- 1:26:10I mean, the pizza. The pussy? The pizza. The pizza. The pussy? The fuck.
- 1:26:13Whoa. I don't know where that came from. Your shotgun's fired.
- 1:26:17Why is pizza like pussy? I didn't mean to say pussy at all.
- 1:26:21It just might have been on my mind because somebody walked in a room.
- 1:26:24I don't know what's going on here. What the fuck? I'm like, oh, shit.
- 1:26:28Is it because you ate too many mangoes? Pizza's telling me no.
- 1:26:30Yeah, right. But my body, my body's telling me yes.
- 1:26:36Oh, you're going to hell. I'm going to hell.
- 1:26:39The pizza, P-I-Z-Z-A. But Marco's.
- 1:26:46Now you're saying Marco's pussy.
- 1:26:50Marco's pizza. Marco's pizza is down the street from my house.
- 1:26:54I used to get the chicken, the barbecue chicken one. but I only get it when
- 1:26:58this big guy's cooking it.
- 1:26:59His name is Brunson, big old native dude, because he make good pizzas.
- 1:27:03Honestly, if you're going to get a good single topping for what it is, go to Casey's.
- 1:27:08Their pizza's actually fucking good. Casey's, is that like gas station pizza?
- 1:27:10Yeah, but their breakfast pizza's fucking good. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:27:13I've had the breakfast pizza because my co-workers get it, but it always comes
- 1:27:16to pork. I don't eat pork. But if you get their single topping pizza, it's fucking great.
- 1:27:20It's like $12 for a big, large single topping. $12. It's fantastic. That's all right.
- 1:27:25They do. That pizza Jerk chicken pizza Wait wait Casey's That pizza's good They have it at.
- 1:27:31Oh, we're going to Papalino's tonight. We're going to try Papalino's.
- 1:27:35I could show you pictures, but I haven't for years ever ordered Boss pizza.
- 1:27:39I think they're still open. Boss is all right. I don't mind it.
- 1:27:41They do good. I like Boss's pasta.
- 1:27:43I go there for the pasta. You should see the pictures I can show you of what
- 1:27:46I got from them. It was horrible. It was the worst thing I've ever seen.
- 1:27:49I've had some decent pizza from Boss.
- 1:27:52I've had some good stuff from Boss. All right, Alan, we're going to wrap this up, wrap this show up.
- 1:27:56Episode 79. We call this one Foolers with Bruce. We're going to crush one more,
- 1:28:01fam. Blues or Blues. We crush one more. What are we crushing, Alan?
- 1:28:04We're doing Junkyard's Orange Dream Pop. Orange Dream Pop. It's basically a push pop. Yeah.
- 1:28:08Another push pop. Another push pop. Like the last beer? Yeah. Nice.
- 1:28:13Shout out to Junkyard, of course.
- 1:28:16What up, A.A. Ron, Lorena, the gang over there? Yeah. We love you guys.
- 1:28:22We love Junkyard. Junkyard's always a shit.
- 1:28:25No doubt about that. They're always a shit.
- 1:28:29Anyway, what do we got, Al? What's this one called? Junkyard Orange Cream Pop.
- 1:28:33Orange Dream Pop. Orange Dream Pop. I think we've tried this before.
- 1:28:37Yeah, we have done a Dream Pop before. Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:28:40I found them like, you know what? What do you think of that, Paul? It's good.
- 1:28:43This is the one I was going to give my mom because she loves Dreamstacles.
- 1:28:45That's like her favorite candy. I have some more for you then at home. Nice.
- 1:28:50Although I think I did have her try it, and I don't think she liked it in liquid form. Yeah.
- 1:28:56I mean, because basically, I mean, if you just, you know, if you melt a popsicle,
- 1:28:59it doesn't taste the same. No, but. That was decent. I like it.
- 1:29:02No, I think it tastes good. This is good. Oh, yeah. This is a good one.
- 1:29:04Very sweet. Just a crushable summertime beer. Yeah.
- 1:29:07Sitting on the pontoon. Oh, yeah. Chilling, you know. Oh, we're going to be
- 1:29:11rocking my pontoon all summer, guys. You know what? Paul, we should do a show from the pontoon.
- 1:29:16I got a Starlink. We could try. We could do that, right? Let's just do a show.
- 1:29:19We could still tape it, right? Yeah, we could just record it.
- 1:29:21We can just record it and then put it up. Oh, can we do a show?
- 1:29:24Can we do cocktails then? Because I have cocktails for us then. Yeah.
- 1:29:27We can do cocktails, whatever. We can just do a show. We can just do a show
- 1:29:30from the pontoon. That'd be kind of cool.
- 1:29:31I paid all this money for this pontoon that I got to use like three times.
- 1:29:34I got this camper. I got everything.
- 1:29:36Everybody come out. Let's make a party of it. Let's go to Maple or whatever
- 1:29:40that place is. No, that thing is crowded as shit. No, I got everything out at Red Willow.
- 1:29:43Yeah. Red Willow? I got everything there. Let's just go to- I got a golf cart
- 1:29:46out there. I got a pontoon. I got the camper. I got a fire pit. I got the whole nine.
- 1:29:51Is there any beers out there, anything like that? Well, I know my fridge is always full. No, beers.
- 1:29:57Bears? Yeah, like black beers, grizzly beers. You don't need to worry about
- 1:30:00that. I got a bunch of firearms. Oh, yeah, Scooby, got guns. We're good.
- 1:30:04Got guns. I'm scared of beers, man. Hey, listen, I don't want to die in the wilderness, bro.
- 1:30:08No. Not grizzlies? Just black beers? I finally shot that 460.
- 1:30:12Okay, cool. Yeah. All right, cool. That bear ain't going nowhere. All right, cool.
- 1:30:16I bring my Glock. You know how it is. Hurt my hand shooting it.
- 1:30:20Really? Oh, fuck. Oh, yeah. Oh, shit. Dude, the bullets are this big.
- 1:30:24Yeah, I'm from New York, man. I don't fuck around with wildlife.
- 1:30:27You know what I'm saying? I don't play that game. Wait till you find a mountain lion.
- 1:30:31Yeah, I will fuck a mountain lion up. Okay.
- 1:30:33No, actually, I have just, listen, because mountain lions actually make their
- 1:30:38way to like cities like Grand Forks, right?
- 1:30:40They could be here. So I have this fucking phobia, right?
- 1:30:43Same with the moves. Whenever I'm leaving in the fucking morning to go to work
- 1:30:46and it's dark out, right?
- 1:30:47And I got what, I live in one of those, you know, they got an apartment building.
- 1:30:50They got those garbage cans that, you know, everybody throws their garbage in.
- 1:30:53People drive for miles around and throw their garbage in like fucking losers,
- 1:30:57right? So anyway, you know what I'm talking about, right?
- 1:30:59Yeah, so, and it's like, it has a back to it where you can walk around it.
- 1:31:05It's inside something, but you can walk around it. I have this fear that a mountain
- 1:31:09lion is going to come out and try to fucking attack me one day.
- 1:31:12So for some strange reason, I always have my firearm on me in the mornings.
- 1:31:15I'm like, what the fuck, can I come with me? I think you're fine.
- 1:31:18I'll fuck a mountain lion up, yeah. I'm pretty sure they don't like dark meat. Yeah.
- 1:31:24He said, mine's only like dark meat. You know what? I might be appealing to
- 1:31:28their ass one day, but he kind of looks like a deer.
- 1:31:31He's kind of tall. He's got that Popolinos in him. Yeah, that Popolinos in him.
