KARMELO ANTHONY SENTENCE: Why Two School Stabbings Get Different Verdicts · the objective JERK

0:20
SPEAKER_01: This is the Objective Jerk, and I am said jerk.
0:24
SPEAKER_01: Hello, everybody.
0:26
SPEAKER_01: Yes, it is I, the jerk that is objective.
0:30
SPEAKER_01: Making another video.
0:32
SPEAKER_01: I usually don't do rapid fire videos, and I'm not trying to make my channel grow.
0:39
SPEAKER_01: I mean, yeah, I guess I kind of am because I'm putting a little work into it, but basically, because I'm trying to improve my channel.
0:50
SPEAKER_01: I messed with the audio yesterday and been tweaking some things here and there, so I want to make some videos to see how they turn out.
0:59
SPEAKER_01: So that's kind of oops, sorry.
1:01
SPEAKER_01: It's part of my quality control, I guess, is making a video, posting it, and then watching the video.
1:08
SPEAKER_01: Because if you watch a recorded video, it's different than it kind of well, it's a little different than when it's uploaded, you know.
1:16
SPEAKER_01: So anyway, so let me know what you think.
1:22
SPEAKER_01: I think the audio sounds much better.
1:25
SPEAKER_01: So I still got my oh, I gotta turn my fan down.
1:28
SPEAKER_00: That's too late.
1:30
SPEAKER_00: It's already too late.
1:31
SPEAKER_00: Usually I turn my fan down a little bit.
1:36
SPEAKER_00: Son of a bitch.
2:39
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I got another video.
2:40
SPEAKER_01: I don't normally post rapid fire videos.
2:45
SPEAKER_01: I don't do multiple videos on the same subject and stuff.
2:50
SPEAKER_01: Generally, I don't.
2:53
SPEAKER_01: But I mean, I am trying to make my channel grow, but that's not why I'm doing the rapid fire videos.
2:59
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I guess it is if you look at it.
3:01
SPEAKER_01: So I'm just trying to tweak my audio and a little bit of visuals and just make the you know, set everything up, make sure it's all good to go.
3:09
SPEAKER_01: And to do that, you gotta make videos to kind of so that's pretty much why.
3:13
SPEAKER_01: But I mean, you know, I got something to talk about.
3:15
SPEAKER_01: I'm not, you know, because you gotta kind of post it to really see.
3:20
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I can record and watch the video on whatever, but still not quite the same, so alright.
3:31
SPEAKER_00: Well, what else?
3:32
SPEAKER_01: So, to clarify on my last video, Carmelo Anthony, he did have a folding knife that was in his bag, so I wasn't sure about that in the last video.
3:42
SPEAKER_01: I had missed that little tidbit of fact, that little factoid.
3:49
SPEAKER_01: But, you know, a lot of people are upset about the length of his sentence, 35.
3:58
SPEAKER_00: I'm fine with it.
4:02
SPEAKER_00: Because he'll probably be out in 25 if he's you know able to be a model prisoner, I guess.
4:11
SPEAKER_00: Probably.
4:11
SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
4:12
SPEAKER_01: I don't know if there's like no chance of parole or whatever, but yeah, I don't think it's I mean, like I said in my last video, you know, they they could have him spend a year at like psychiatric kind of prison to evaluate him and see if you know there's this whatever, something's wrong.
4:35
SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
4:37
SPEAKER_01: Or is he just, you know, a sociopath, cold-blooded killer?
4:40
SPEAKER_01: I don't know, you know.
4:42
SPEAKER_01: It does kind of seem like he is, though.
4:44
SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of people comparing this stabbing with another one that happened like a year ago or so, and I had never heard of it, which is kinda weird.
4:59
SPEAKER_01: Because there's no black people involved in it.
5:02
SPEAKER_00: It's all it's like a white dude and Hispanic dude.
5:06
SPEAKER_00: But but yeah, there's lots of comparisons.
5:11
SPEAKER_00: Oh like I'll find some, hold on.
5:19
SPEAKER_00: Let me I'll pull I'll read this a little bit later, but I'm trying to get things set up because obviously I don't do it beforehand.
5:33
SPEAKER_01: I do it during the during the I was almost gonna say live stream, but I don't do that.
5:39
SPEAKER_01: Maybe I will try doing a live stream, but I don't think my internet here is not bad, but I don't know if it's live stream good though.
5:47
SPEAKER_01: Like I'd have to get uh Starlink or something.
5:52
SPEAKER_00: Let me see.
5:53
SPEAKER_00: Okay, let's see.
5:54
SPEAKER_00: I'm sure there's a didn't I like it though?
5:57
SPEAKER_01: See, I gotta I gotta really get in the habit of liking posts.
6:03
SPEAKER_01: No, it's hard to like a post that's completely like, but I guess what do you call it, bookmark it or whatever.
6:09
SPEAKER_00: So let me see.
6:10
SPEAKER_00: Let me see if I can go down and find free Carmelo.
6:18
SPEAKER_01: See, again, a lot of the a lot of the stuff is they don't even really believe it.
6:24
SPEAKER_01: They're just posting it to get the clicks to make the money.
6:27
SPEAKER_01: But if when you read the comments, you'll see real people.
6:32
SPEAKER_01: And most of them are, you know, common sense.
6:37
SPEAKER_01: It's like, bro, he killed him, he murdered him, what are you talking about?
6:40
SPEAKER_01: But some people are just like, meh, blah blah blah, you know.
6:44
SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
6:44
SPEAKER_01: Okay, let's see.
6:45
SPEAKER_01: So it's not coming up immediately.
6:48
SPEAKER_00: Let me try.
6:55
SPEAKER_00: Um how do you spell it?
6:58
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
7:01
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, so I mean there are people, and that's the thing too, is like a lot of people judge things with just based off of headlines, titles, or thumbnails, you know?
7:27
SPEAKER_00: It was way worse.
7:29
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so this guy's kind of explaining okay, so this guy he's describing why.
7:34
SPEAKER_01: I g I'll I'll probably show that one, I guess.
7:37
SPEAKER_01: So Alright, yeah, I'm gonna talk about okay, so 35 too much.
7:46
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so comparisons, right?
7:48
SPEAKER_01: So you're seeing a lot of people, here's a here's a here's a case, same thing, but different outcomes.
7:55
SPEAKER_01: Why?
7:55
SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's because he's black, is what they're trying to say.
7:59
SPEAKER_01: But the only thing that's same about them is it's two high school students.
8:04
SPEAKER_01: One stabbed one, the other one died.
8:06
SPEAKER_01: That's the only thing that's similar.
8:08
SPEAKER_01: Nothing else about the cases are the same.
8:12
SPEAKER_00: So I'm just gonna read this little.
8:14
SPEAKER_00: Oh, let me flip over.
8:17
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
8:18
SPEAKER_00: So what happens if I zoom in?
8:22
SPEAKER_00: Well, let me.
8:25
SPEAKER_00: No, I guess not.
8:26
SPEAKER_00: You guys are stuck reading it like that.
8:27
SPEAKER_01: I mean, it looks so I'm looking at it small, but I guess when you're actually whatever, it's not that small.
8:34
SPEAKER_01: I guess I could close that a little bit.
8:35
SPEAKER_01: It makes it a little bigger.
8:36
SPEAKER_01: Anyway, all right, so verdict returned and murdered trial of former Belton High School student, Kasen Allison.
8:44
SPEAKER_01: So this happened in 2022.
8:46
SPEAKER_01: I didn't realize it was that long, but he his trial, though, and everything happened on the 2025.
8:51
SPEAKER_01: So let's just read what this has to say.
8:53
SPEAKER_01: And then, okay.
8:55
SPEAKER_01: I don't I didn't read any transcripts or anything with this case.
8:58
SPEAKER_01: I don't know any details about it.
9:02
SPEAKER_01: Belton, Texas, a jury returned a guilty verdict for criminally negligent homicide.
9:09
SPEAKER_00: So he was charged with criminally negligent homicide.
9:18
SPEAKER_01: Anthony or Carmelo was charged with murder.
9:21
SPEAKER_01: So two different things.
9:23
SPEAKER_01: Tuesday in the trial of former Belton High School student Kasen Allison.
9:28
SPEAKER_01: It came after more than 12 hours of deliberations.
9:30
SPEAKER_01: Allison was accused of stabbing Joe Ramirez to death in a bathroom of Belton High School in 2022.
9:36
SPEAKER_01: He faces up to six months to two years in state jail facility, according to Allison's defense attorney, Zachary.
9:45
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
9:45
SPEAKER_01: Those in attendance were informed that the jury had returned shortly after people piled in the courtroom anxiously waiting.
9:51
SPEAKER_01: Joe Ramirez's mother walked in crying.
9:53
SPEAKER_01: People on both sides were reaching for tissues.
9:56
SPEAKER_01: Judge Wade Faulkner entered.
9:59
SPEAKER_01: He acknowledged the high emotions of this case, reminded the members of the gallery, the rules of the court, asked everyone to maintain silence, be respectful, and stay seated, regardless of what was read.
10:11
SPEAKER_01: The elected four-person from the jury that handed the written verdict to the deputy, who then passed the verdict to the judge who read off the final decision.
10:20
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no shit.
10:21
SPEAKER_01: And the jury found Alison not guilty of murder or manslaughter, but guilty of criminally negligent homicide.
10:30
SPEAKER_01: So people, first of all, who are crying about the time, well, that's why.
10:34
SPEAKER_01: If this dude would have been guilty of murder, then he probably would have got similar time as Carmelo Anthony.
10:45
SPEAKER_01: So that right there is reason one, right?
10:49
SPEAKER_01: But they're gonna be like, oh, well, he because he killed the Mexican guy, he didn't get home.
10:54
SPEAKER_01: Or I don't know, they come up with the dumbest things.
10:56
SPEAKER_01: But anyway, there's a lot of tears and anger following the verdict.
11:00
SPEAKER_01: Of course, Judge Faulkner then told Allison that the probation officer would be working on.
11:04
SPEAKER_01: Boyd then asked Judge Faulkner if Allison's ankle monitor would be removed.
11:08
SPEAKER_01: The state objected to this, saying he was not eligible based on the verdict.
11:12
SPEAKER_01: Judge Faulkner declined the request to remove Allison's ankle monitor and deemed the bond sufficient.
11:18
SPEAKER_01: The sentencing phase will begin June 16th.
11:21
SPEAKER_01: Allison chose to have his sentence come from Judge Faulkner instead of the jury.
11:26
SPEAKER_01: Huh.
11:27
SPEAKER_01: Ramira's sister, Olivia, posted her brother did not receive justice.
11:33
SPEAKER_01: You deserve so much more of the post-reads.
11:35
SPEAKER_01: So, I mean, there's still a little bit of, you know, I mean, of course, somebody somebody was to kill my son, dude.
11:43
SPEAKER_01: I don't even want to think about what I do or whatever.
11:47
SPEAKER_01: But even if like my son instigated, provoked, was completely in the wrong and did everything, you know, I'm still gonna be like, oh, you know, still gonna be mad that he and I'm gonna side with my son.
12:02
SPEAKER_01: So it's kind of understandable with family members to think like that, to feel like that, to think with emotion.
12:08
SPEAKER_01: But just random strangers because you're Mexican or you're black.
12:12
SPEAKER_01: It's retarded.
12:15
SPEAKER_01: Uh in the press conference after the verdict, Boyd said criminally negligent homicide means the jury found Alson did not intend to kill Ramirez.
12:25
SPEAKER_01: They saw a young man scared, injured, reacting to sudden violent encounter others initiated.
12:30
SPEAKER_01: See, that's the biggest difference right there.
12:32
SPEAKER_01: Carmelo instigated it.
12:35
SPEAKER_01: There was no evidence that he was in fear for his life or anything like that.
12:41
SPEAKER_01: So it's complete opposite.
12:43
SPEAKER_01: So the I do know one fact about this, I'm gonna mention, but I'm gonna wait and see if it's in the in the in the article.
12:50
SPEAKER_01: In order to convict on murder, the jury Oh man, what the hell?
12:55
SPEAKER_01: Oh crap.
12:58
SPEAKER_01: Where'd I go?
12:58
SPEAKER_01: Stupid ad.
13:00
SPEAKER_01: In order to convict on murder, the jury had to consider three theories which were based on whether Allison intended to harm Ramirez.
13:08
SPEAKER_01: If they did not return a guilty verdict for murder, they had also to consider manslaughter.
13:13
SPEAKER_01: And if not manslaughter, the least severe of the all charges criminally negligent homicide.
13:20
SPEAKER_01: Over the course of the trial, the state tried to make a case that Alison could not have acted in self-defense.
13:26
SPEAKER_01: They pointed to a number of facts to support that theory, including an alleged threat he made on Snapchat to Ramirez.
13:32
SPEAKER_01: His actions were when he walked in the bathroom and did not choose to leave, and his discarding of the knife after it happened, which is somewhat sounds similar, but that's not what happened though.
13:44
SPEAKER_01: The jury had to consider whether or not the state provided beyond a reasonable doubt that Kaysen did not act in self-defense and they hopefully failed to do so, Boyd said.
13:54
SPEAKER_01: And let's not forget the shadow cast by the investigation itself, the failure to miranderize Kasen at the arrest, the minimization of Kaysen's rights under Okay.
14:05
SPEAKER_01: Alison's defense team focused on inconsistencies in police investigation.
14:12
SPEAKER_01: The defense pointed to the claim that someone in Ramirez's group threatened Allison with a weapon before the fight in the bathroom, which they argued supported the self-defense.
14:21
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so he was threatened like with a gun, too.
14:27
SPEAKER_01: Like, not like pointed at, but I guess they brandished a gun and were like, you know, so there was some beef between these two.
14:33
SPEAKER_01: So this is what I thought was going on with Carmelo Anthony and and and Austin Metcalfe.
14:39
SPEAKER_01: But that's not the case.
14:42
SPEAKER_01: This was a hard case.
14:43
SPEAKER_01: Okay, Allison will remain out on bond while he awaits sentencing.
14:49
SPEAKER_01: So that's pretty much okay.
14:50
SPEAKER_01: So that's the whole thing.
14:51
SPEAKER_01: So that kind of spits it out for you, right?
14:54
SPEAKER_01: Or that's the a little whatever, a news article.
14:58
SPEAKER_00: So then here's Lou Facts on why does my thing work sometimes?
15:05
SPEAKER_01: That's close.
15:06
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
15:07
SPEAKER_01: Since everyone is talking about the Carmelo and Austin Metcalf case, 22nd Belton High School, Texas, fight broke out in the school bathroom between Casey Allison and Joe Luis Ramirez.
15:19
SPEAKER_01: That's the other thing, too, is like during the Carmelo Carmelo Anthony case, you know, transcripts were being released, and you can read them, and then reports from different news were like so off.
15:32
SPEAKER_01: They were way off.
15:33
SPEAKER_01: It's like you can't even trust.
15:34
SPEAKER_01: So like the article I just read seemed pretty unbiased, but I think they probably missed some facts.
15:44
SPEAKER_01: They were it's almost like they were trying to stay neutral, I guess, maybe, which is, I guess, better than picking a side.
15:49
SPEAKER_01: That's being unbiased, you know, trying to stay neutral.
15:53
SPEAKER_01: But anyway, okay.
15:54
SPEAKER_01: Ramirez and Alison had reportedly been feuding after an earlier dispute.
15:58
SPEAKER_01: During the fight, Alison stabbed Ramirez multiple times with a knife.
16:01
SPEAKER_01: Ramirez later died from his injuries.
16:03
SPEAKER_01: Alison admitted to the stabbing, but claimed he acted in self-defense.
16:06
SPEAKER_01: The jury found Alison not guilty of murder, found him guilty of criminally negligent homicide, a lesser offense.
16:12
SPEAKER_01: Why the lesser victim lesser verdict?
16:14
SPEAKER_01: The defense argued Alison was being attacked and feared for his safety.
16:18
SPEAKER_01: Evidence included video and testimony that Ramirez threw punches first and that Alison claimed he was outnumbered by Ramirez and his friends.
16:25
SPEAKER_01: So it this is I think the defense and everything, they saw this and they were trying to go the same route, but but it still didn't work for this, really.
16:33
SPEAKER_01: But or yeah.
16:37
SPEAKER_01: No, this did work.
16:38
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I'm flipping it.
16:39
SPEAKER_01: So they looked at this and like, oh, we can use this.
16:42
SPEAKER_01: And then he'll get a lesser charge.
16:43
SPEAKER_01: That's probably what they were trying to go for.
16:45
SPEAKER_01: They used, you know, they used this as uh inspiration, I guess you could say.
16:48
SPEAKER_01: The jury rejected the murder charge, but concluded Allison's actions were criminally negligent.
16:54
SPEAKER_01: What Caseen did, the Hispanic kid was way worse than Austin.
17:00
SPEAKER_01: And it didn't get the same media change.
17:02
SPEAKER_00: What Caseen did, the Hispanic kid was way I don't understand what he said there.
17:07
SPEAKER_00: Alright.
17:09
SPEAKER_00: So and they always, of course, show their, you know, the victim.
17:16
SPEAKER_01: No matter what, right or wrong, black or white, brown, yellow, whatever.
17:22
SPEAKER_01: The victims always got the best picture, and then they always got the the mugshot.
17:27
SPEAKER_01: It's funny.
17:28
SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, that's that's what's going on.
17:34
SPEAKER_01: So it's like, why do people see again it's it's the liberal thinking with their emotions.
17:40
SPEAKER_01: They're just like they see a white guy who stabbed a Mexican, he didn't get much time, and then you see uh a black kid stabbing a white kid, and the black kid got a bunch of time.
17:52
SPEAKER_01: But if you study the cases and all the details and stuff, you can see why.
17:59
SPEAKER_01: But see, they just see what?
18:00
SPEAKER_01: Oh, and they get angry and and and act like idiots, like this guy right here.
18:09
SPEAKER_01: So this guy right here, man.
18:12
SPEAKER_01: Black guy punches a random white man in the face because he thinks he was on the Carmelo Anthony's jury selection.
18:18
SPEAKER_01: He also threatens his life by saying, You gonna die.
18:22
SPEAKER_00: How is this not a hate crime?
18:23
SPEAKER_00: It is a hate crime.
18:27
SPEAKER_00: And let's see, kinda oh, it's a little too close.
18:31
SPEAKER_00: Jeez.
18:33
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm just gonna but there was I did watch this a little bit.
18:41
SPEAKER_01: And listen at the end.
18:42
SPEAKER_01: The end part is what kind of bugs me the most.
18:45
SPEAKER_01: Here, let's let's give this a watch.
18:50
SPEAKER_02: Hey, what are you on jury selection?
18:54
SPEAKER_03: Seriously, no, no he Look at that.
18:56
SPEAKER_01: Before he even answered, he hits him.
18:58
SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
19:00
SPEAKER_02: He wasn't on jurisdiction.
19:18
SPEAKER_02: You look on a jury selection.
19:32
SPEAKER_02: I thought you was on I thought you was on jury dish for my bee.
19:38
SPEAKER_01: My bee.
19:42
SPEAKER_02: What?
19:52
SPEAKER_01: And see, like, the way he's acted, like, dude, you're totally in the wrong.
19:56
SPEAKER_01: First of all, it doesn't matter if he even was on the jury slightly you don't just go up and punch people.
20:00
SPEAKER_01: And then he's completely in the wrong, and but he's still like meh, he acts like it's like, what why are you mad?
20:05
SPEAKER_01: What's the big deal?
20:06
SPEAKER_01: Uh that's the that's dude.
20:09
SPEAKER_01: If my son showed me this video of him doing something like this, I would whoop his ass.
20:16
SPEAKER_00: No, I mean, because that's probably I don't know.
20:20
SPEAKER_00: Dude, that's just like, see, that's that's the crap right there, man.
20:25
SPEAKER_00: This crap right here.
20:27
SPEAKER_01: And also with Carmelo Anthony, too, if you read people that were in the courtroom, Carmelo Anthony never once showed any kind of remorse or anything.
20:41
SPEAKER_01: He was just like a statue the whole time.
20:45
SPEAKER_01: The only time he showed any kind of emotion is when he was sentenced or, you know, when he was found guilty.
20:52
SPEAKER_01: So he didn't care.
20:54
SPEAKER_01: He didn't care that Austin Metcalfe was dead.
20:56
SPEAKER_01: He had no remorse over the whole thing.
20:59
SPEAKER_01: So to me, that tells me he's a sociopath.
21:01
SPEAKER_01: He is a murderer, and if it wasn't Austin Metcalf, it was gonna be someone else down the line.
21:07
SPEAKER_01: He's probably gonna end up staying in prison most of his life.
21:10
SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, because he's probably gonna get into some shit because it's just he doesn't have, I don't know, there's something wrong with the kid.
21:18
SPEAKER_01: At least that's what I think.
21:20
SPEAKER_01: I, you know, most people who are in a situation they didn't want to be in don't like the fact that they killed somebody.
21:29
SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
21:30
SPEAKER_01: People who even if they're a douchebag, you're like, you still have a little remorse, you feel, you know, but he had no remorse, no nothing.
21:39
SPEAKER_01: So to me, and all that crap right there, all you know, the jury sees that stuff too.
21:47
SPEAKER_01: They're watching him.
21:49
SPEAKER_01: You know, they're taking the evidence, they're looking at him, and he didn't like look upset.
21:53
SPEAKER_01: If he would have been probably, you know, upset and like, oh man, just crying, or they he probably should have testified a little bit, you know, if he would have showed some sort of like, oh my gosh, you know, like he regrets it, remorse, he probably wouldn't have had, you know, but no, they think like, hey, black people were suppressed hundreds of years ago, so I can just do what I want.
22:16
SPEAKER_01: No.
22:17
SPEAKER_01: Like the Like this guy here, punching hand.
22:20
SPEAKER_01: Like, this is the mentality that's again, it's not everybody.
22:26
SPEAKER_00: I haven't experienced it, but you know, I've been in the Philippines for the last six years.
22:33
SPEAKER_01: My my son has a a friend who's half Nigerian, half Filipino, really tall guy.
22:39
SPEAKER_01: I mean, he looks more Nigerian than he does Filipino, but he's pretty cool.
22:46
SPEAKER_01: He's hung out, you know, with my son and me and stuff like that.
22:49
SPEAKER_01: Good guy.
22:52
SPEAKER_01: You know, and it's like, and I'm I don't know.
22:55
SPEAKER_01: This maybe this is sounds like cringe, cheesy.
22:58
SPEAKER_01: Like I'm trying to be like, I like black people.
23:00
SPEAKER_01: I got a black friend.
23:03
SPEAKER_01: No, I don't, but I mean I've had black friends throughout the years, you know.
23:07
SPEAKER_01: I mean, honestly, I never had a black friend that was, you know, like I have friends that I was friends with in high school that I'm still in touch with now, but they're white, honestly.
23:23
SPEAKER_01: I was I had friends with black folks that I hung out with a lot, but it was only for a period of time, and then they moved or I moved, or I was in the army with, and then you know, now it's like so.
23:37
SPEAKER_01: The last individual that I was pretty close with that was a black dude, he it was when I was in the army and he was National Guard, but he was like put in active status because of the war and everything.
23:53
SPEAKER_00: And he looked kind of like what's his face?
24:00
SPEAKER_00: Wesley Snipes.
24:01
SPEAKER_01: He kind of looked like Wesley Snipes, he was all jacked, you know.
24:04
SPEAKER_01: And what was funny is like he he loved like like th metal music, like death, like heavier music than I liked.
24:11
SPEAKER_01: You know, he liked the I was like, I thought I think I talked about it before, but the first time he played some of his music, I thought he was messing with me.
24:18
SPEAKER_01: I was like, whatever, dude.
24:19
SPEAKER_01: You know, like and he but he did, he was totally into it, and it was just kind of funny to me.
24:24
SPEAKER_01: And so we hung out a lot, but it was more of a work thing, and then you know, I got out of the army, and then like he I think he lives in like the East Coast somewhere, but you know, it's just that's kind of how it is.
24:36
SPEAKER_00: But so, you know, I don't know.
24:42
SPEAKER_00: Social media, kids are being brought up on social media and parents that don't get involved.
24:47
SPEAKER_01: You gotta get involved, you gotta be the bad guy.
24:50
SPEAKER_01: You know, you're the parent, not their friend.
24:53
SPEAKER_01: That's one thing I'm constantly going back with my kids, you know.
24:56
SPEAKER_01: Seems like when I start kind of getting a little more chummy with them, then they're like, and I'm like, I gotta pull the reins and be like, hey, I'm not your friend, I'm your dad.
25:05
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so remember that, you know.
25:08
SPEAKER_01: It happens, but but yeah, so it's just ridiculous, dude.
25:12
SPEAKER_01: And then the people trying to compare it to Carmelo Anthony.
25:16
SPEAKER_01: Oh, did you say see this right here?
25:18
SPEAKER_01: This is hilarious.
25:19
SPEAKER_01: This is totally off the topic.
25:23
SPEAKER_00: But I th Damn it, why is it so close now?
25:26
SPEAKER_00: It was zooming in just fine before.
25:29
SPEAKER_00: Whoa, what'd I just do?
25:33
SPEAKER_00: Alright, let me maybe I need to shrink it a little.
25:37
SPEAKER_00: Oh, but I don't like people seeing my files.
25:40
SPEAKER_00: Not that I got anything to whatever, but still.
25:44
SPEAKER_00: I guess you still kinda somebody really want.
25:48
SPEAKER_00: I need to move those at the bottom, I think.
25:51
SPEAKER_01: But here, let's watch this real quick.
25:53
SPEAKER_01: So women should get equal pay because we do the same job as men do.
25:56
SPEAKER_01: So here, watch this.
25:58
SPEAKER_01: This is hilarious.
26:10
SPEAKER_01: The women are all like taking off, running while the guys, you know.
26:13
SPEAKER_01: So no, there are some jobs that women just should not.
26:16
SPEAKER_01: Now, are there women that can do?
26:19
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but it's pretty far and few between.
26:22
SPEAKER_01: Anyway, that's completely off of what I was talking about.
26:26
SPEAKER_01: But I just thought that was kind of funny.
26:29
SPEAKER_01: It kind of reminds me of the Secret Service females that couldn't holster their gun, you know.
26:34
SPEAKER_01: It's like I get that, you know, adrenaline kind of affects your motor skills and stuff.
26:43
SPEAKER_01: But that's why you train.
26:46
SPEAKER_01: You know, you do a lot of drills holstering, unholstering, doing stuff, stress tests, holstering, unholstering, so that you can holster that thing without even thinking about it.
26:56
SPEAKER_01: So when the time comes, you don't look like a fool on TV, you know.
27:02
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, see, that's just, oh, I don't have to train.
27:04
SPEAKER_01: I'm a woman.
27:05
SPEAKER_01: Train when I want to, don't take it seriously.
27:08
SPEAKER_01: It is tough being security and law enforcement and training because shit never happens, you know, and then you get kind of complacent.
27:17
SPEAKER_01: Like I said, that's the toughest part about being in that line of work when you never ever have to do anything because nothing ever really happens, and all you do is train.
27:33
SPEAKER_01: But you know, you gotta take training seriously.
27:36
SPEAKER_01: You can only train as realistic as as you can.
27:39
SPEAKER_01: You know, you can't shoot real bullets and so but you gotta train, man.
27:45
SPEAKER_00: You gotta do the drills.
27:49
SPEAKER_00: Alright, that's better.
27:50
SPEAKER_00: So I moved all my stuff.
27:52
SPEAKER_01: Anyway, that's all.
27:54
SPEAKER_01: I just wanted to kind of well test my audio.
27:57
SPEAKER_01: Let me know.
27:58
SPEAKER_01: Is it looking better?
27:59
SPEAKER_01: Is my audio?
27:59
SPEAKER_01: I keep looking at my thing.
28:00
SPEAKER_01: I forget the cameras there.
28:02
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
28:04
SPEAKER_01: Good look at the dot.
28:05
SPEAKER_01: Look at the dot.
28:06
SPEAKER_01: But my audio I messed with yesterday.
28:08
SPEAKER_01: I think it sounds a lot better.
28:10
SPEAKER_01: Let me know if it's if it's good or if you think it sucks.
28:14
SPEAKER_01: Or let me know about what you think about Carmelo Anthony.
28:16
SPEAKER_01: Was he 35 years?
28:18
SPEAKER_01: Is that too much?
28:22
SPEAKER_01: I would prefer like just a little, you know, I don't I think it's too much, I think this, like just a somewhat, somewhat civil discourse, not, you know, I am fucking hate.
28:36
SPEAKER_01: Anyway, thanks for hanging out.
28:37
SPEAKER_01: Appreciate your time, and I'll see you next time.
28:39
SPEAKER_01: All right, God bless.
