- Chris Laker: I got a YouTube comment saying I had a comedy haircut. the person who commented is obviously weird, to go to a YouTube short. That has I know, like a few hundred views, maybe. They suppress my clips on YouTube. I don't have enough comments come in on YouTube to say, they're good or they're bad. They're mostly weird people looking for YouTube videos with low view counts to comment on because think they feel like there's a better chance for reaction to it They're right, I react. I respond to every comment pretty much. Cause I don't care. I don't take a personal. I will respond every time. if you insult me, I respond. I I don't insult back. I joke, I find it fun. I actually enjoy negative comments. I used to never look at comments 'cause I was afraid of them. And now it's relaxing. It's me letting go of the ego and saying, whatever, man. Like it's cool. Tomorrow's show is probably gonna be late. I'm giving you a heads up now. Probably gonna be very late. I got a long run. I'm gonna get up, do the long run. I was supposed to do it today. Didn't quite work out. Do the long run, come back and do the show. So it's not it's it's gonna be a late show. If you are planning your day around the release of this show, which you can't because no, it doesn't come out at a consistent time of day. I'm sorry. Adding video has made that very difficult to do. I can't say, it'll be out at this time every day. tomorrow, gonna be very late. Coming up as I get closer to the Philadelphia Marathon, Thanksgiving. I think I'm gonna go audio only, short episodes here and there. I'm gonna be traveling. I wanna stick to a show every day, matter what. We're getting to the end of the year. Be one year down. I've promised three. I break promises. the goal is three. a show every day for three years. mostly the typical show that you know now with the video. some days, maybe it's five minutes. I feel like five minutes is the minimum that I can do. Five minutes audio is the least I can do. on the twenty second day of the marathon. It's gonna be a late show, probably five minutes audio. and then Thanksgiving. And Christmas, same deal. Because I'll be traveling. family. That's what's coming up. so tomorrow, yeah, late and I'm gonna record after I run I'll tell you how far I ran after I ran it. I'm not gonna tell you now how far I'm supposed to run. if that doesn't work out, I might rethink this marathon. It'll be slow. I'll be very slow. I don't give a shit about time. I was slow. LA Marathon was a little over five hours. I was hoping to get under five hours, which is not very fast. Not to get into marathon talk. I know a lot of people run now. That's there was a running boom. I am not running because there is a running boom. it's just been the only exercise that I've been able to do in my life with some consistency. I'll go three years on, two years off. I didn't do any kind of physical activity till I was an adult. I did not do any sports. I Played soccer as a real little kid. I was terrible at it. I was on a team that scored one goal the entire season and I wasn't at that game. There was one kid that was good on the team and we all were like, I I forget his name. It Steve. Everybody's like, fuck it. It wasn't Steve. I wish I could remember his name. I remember he was like a red haired kid with freckles, we would all be like, Steve, he's so good. Couldn't believe we were on team with this guy, but we still never scored a goal. And then I missed a game. I was sick. Came back the next week. It's like we scored a goal. Steve scored a goal. I felt good for him because he was stuck on this awful team and he finally had his moment. I guess he couldn't have been that good if he only scored one goal the entire. We were terrible team. in the context of being on a bad team, I was worse than the rest of them. we're all seven years old. Like, what is even being good or not good at seven? There was kids that were just good at seven. Seems like you shouldn't be good at anything. At seven. think it was that experience of not being good, naturally or right away that made me be like, Yeah, I don't want to do this shit at all. fuck that. I'm gonna eat snacks which led to poor self-esteem and why I'm talking to you today and running the Philadelphia Marathon, looking for control, looking for something. it is nice to be here with all of you Couldn't be happier, how this all turned out for me. I mean, not for the world. I would like things to be different for the world and for the United States. As far as openings to this show goes, I don't think I did very well here. It is past. I don't think that was a binding vote. It was vibe check. I think if it went the other way, if seventy-five percent says Alberta wants to leave Canada, it would still be a part of Canada. They don't want to leave, where are they gonna go? You're in Canada. You're gonna be a part of the United States. you see what's you don't want that. You're Canada. You're special. You're different. you got your own music even. I remember I I was in Canada once. I just had the hotel cable on the a music channel, and they were just playing French Canadian rap music. You're not gonna see that anywhere else. I didn't enjoy it, but I love that it existed. Congratulations, Canada. You you get to keep Alberta. I don't know who stole them, but as I'm reading the headline, I just picture good fellas Ray Leota and Joe Pesci when they rob a truck. And that's how I think of them in the movie as Ray Leota and Joe Pesci, not as Henry Hill and what's Joe Pesci's character? Tommy? Is that is it is he Tommy in that or is he Tommy in Casino? Whatever. I still think of them as Ray Leota and Joe Pesci. So much that I feel like in the movie they should be called Ray Leota and Joe Pesci. And Robert De Niro should definitely be Robert De Niro. And then the other ones can have their even I think Paul Servino's gotta be Paul Cervino. Billy Bats can be Billy Bats because I remember that character is Billy Bats. To me, he's Billy Bats in The Sopranos. But I imagine Ray Leota and Joe Pesci beating up the truck driver, stealing the pallets of Pokemon cards, opening them up. And then trying to see which ones have value and then like doing the I don't know Pokemon talk, but doing that, I never got into Pokemon. Trans student mailers hit Texas homes as advocacy group denies sending them. So what happened here probably, this is me guessing from the story here, is that some Republican group mailed out these pro-trans flyers to homes saying to, hey, students want to be trans, this is how you do it. everybody should be trans, you know, the kind of stuff that Republicans think trans. advocacy groups would say then send it to homes blindly so people get them and say, you see the trans people, they're trying to indoctrinate my child, which is not true. And how could they? these people who are afraid of that Nobody convinced you. I mean, somebody indoctrinated you to be a fucking Republican wacko. That's true. I guess maybe that's the fear. the same way I became this lunatic, somebody might try to indoctrinate my child into not being this fucking lunatic. They might not indoctrinate them into becoming trans, but they might. understand to accept people and that no that that I will not have, not in my home. this is gross this is the kind of thing I would expect USCDC confirms third measle related death in twenty twenty-six. I thought they had more than that in Pennsylvania, but I guess it's three measles related deaths. There's thousands of cases, like four thousand something cases of measles in the United States. National Guard member is shot while breaking up a fight in Washington. Suspect is hit in return fire. In DC, they have National Guard just walking around all over the place doing nothing when they should not be there. they're not supposed to be patrolling cities like that. So end up breaking up a fight on the street. It's a weird thing. They the guide pulls out a gun and starts shooting. The National Guard guy got hit in the leg, he got shot in the stomach, and they went to the hospital, nobody died. But the National Guard shouldn't be patrolling the streets of Washington DC. Global oil prices hit highest level in five months amid attacks on ships facilities. It has been a little while since we got the headline. oil's the highest it's ever been. well, in five months. They say in five, but was it higher five months ago? it doesn't sound like a great headline. The highest it's been in five months. it's high. I think. I don't have a car that uses gas, but when I drive by gas stations, it's very high. LA gas is ridiculously more expensive than it is on the east coast because there's tax on it for the roads. There's not tolls on the roads mostly. But now there is kind of once you get in Orange County. They're adding tolls and the tax. But it is beautiful here. I do love California. Gas is expensive. Of course it brings up the price of everything. We all know that we go buy groceries. I don't even notice individual things. It just once I check out at the supermarket, I'm like all right. I guess that's what groceries cost now. that's a lot more than I would expect. U.S. judge dismisses Sam Altman's sister's sexual abuse lawsuit. Sam Altman, you know, the open AI guy, you know who he is. His sister claims that he sexually abused her for years, but she wouldn't submit to some sort of exam. So the case has been thrown out. He denies it, but she says that he sexually abused her for years. he's contributing to the end of society and might have, well, allegedly or whatever, has been accused of sexually abusing his sister. He's been accused of that. He denies it. He did not. Sam Altman says, I definitely did not sexually abuse my sister. Did not do it. I deny that allegation that Sam Altman sexually abused his sister. And there is no proof that I know of, just the accusation from his sister, but he denies that. Sam Altman, OpenAI, did not, according to him, sexually abuse his sister. Milan luxury shops close as Italy prepares to deploy troops in the city after days of protests. See discourse about these protests going on in France and now Italy. some of the people there say these are just criminals. And people like me in the United States who say, this is good, that people are standing up to the government, don't know what we're talking about. also have no impact on the situation. If I say protest is good and I'm glad that they're protesting in France with no knowledge of what's going on, doesn't matter. I think protest is good. I don't it's probably a mix of things going on here. I don't exactly know and I'm not gonna spend that much time trying to figure out the politics of Italy right now. I don't live there. And even if I did, I wouldn't be able to vote. So any research on the politics there would merely be for my information and just as a hobby. I can't participate in their politics. So you guys figure that out. you got some right wing government there now. How's that working out for you? if you're planning on going to Milan to buy some luxury goods, sounds like the stores will be boarded up. don't go there to cause trouble, of course. and I will say this to any looters and any people causing damage to property I say, hey, stop that. I I don't support that. No, I don't. So don't act like I haven't done my part here to help. Neighbors rush to defend man after ice agents break his arm. Witnesses say. I was talking about this story yesterday. I had it wrong yesterday. I don't know if I read it wrong or it was reported wrong. I said there was a protest. What happened was ice agents throw this man to the ground, then people gathered and stopped them from taking him away. ICE agents, they're driving in an SUV on the the wrong way up a one-way street. They throw this man to the ground. He's a U.S. citizen. They break his arm because they're fucking untrained, violent dickheads neighbors gathered around and refused to let them haul him off because he would probably be in some detention center right now with a broken arm. Untreated because they felt like grabbing a guy. So the neighbors stepped in made sure that they didn't take him away and waited for local police to uncuff him and take him to the hospital. those neighbors, good people. nearly one point six million pounds of meat voluntarily recalled nationwide. This was from a company I never heard of, KM. The label doesn't look familiar. It's I have no idea what this is, but it's a specific company. Their meat has been recalled because of faulty refrigeration. It said in the United States and Hong Kong. don't know where this meat comes from, but faulty refrigeration. Nobody has been reported sick yet on this current recall. stay away from any weird branded meats. Any discount meat. If you can spend more on your meat Go up to the next level I would say don't eat any meat at all. But if you're going to. Get the top shelf. Five North Carolina police officers resign amid probe into alleged racist texts. Those texts gotta be pretty bad. Luckily, these racist cops are very dumb, and they thought to text their racism as opposed to just keeping it verbal no, let me electronically document my racism then send it around so there's evidence of it, It's great that they're dumb.
