- 0:00Speaker 1: The Mark Simone Show on seven tenor well it's only Tuesday.
- 0:09Speaker 1: These weeks are very slow, waiting for spring to come.
- 0:12Speaker 1: But it'll be here in a couple of weeks. So
- 0:14Speaker 1: players reporting today for spring training. That's good news. Now
- 0:19Speaker 1: the Epstein files, apparently there's three million more pages coming,
- 0:24Speaker 1: three million more pages coming. What have we learned so far? Well,
- 0:29Speaker 1: now you're going to watch the fake news. The media
- 0:32Speaker 1: go after people like Howard Lutnik. They're going after him.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Now close to Epstein, Well he is in the Epstein files.
- 0:41Speaker 1: He did talk to Epstell. They never tell you the
- 0:45Speaker 1: reason why he was talking to Epstein. Epstein had a beautiful,
- 0:49Speaker 1: enormous mansion on seventy first Street, each seventy first between
- 0:54Speaker 1: Fifth and Madison. The reason he Lutnick got to know Epstein.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Lutnick had the house next door. They were literally next
- 1:01Speaker 1: door neighbors. Their houses literally touch each other. You know,
- 1:05Speaker 1: it's the townhouses in Manhattan. They're attached. So when you're
- 1:09Speaker 1: that close to somebody, you know, if somebody moves into
- 1:11Speaker 1: the house next to you, you'll probably get to know them.
- 1:14Speaker 1: They weren't really friends or anything, but at one point,
- 1:17Speaker 1: and I remember at the time. Lutnik is a big,
- 1:19Speaker 1: big Wall Street guy. He's the chairman of Cant Fitzgerald.
- 1:23Speaker 1: There's a major, major Wall Street for him. So this
- 1:26Speaker 1: is what Epstein basically did. He networked himself with anybody
- 1:28Speaker 1: of any importance in finance or media or anything. So
- 1:33Speaker 1: the guy lit a next door as the chairman of
- 1:35Speaker 1: Canter Fitzgerald. Epstein's all over. The guy, come come take
- 1:38Speaker 1: a tour of my house, and it's your next door neighbors.
- 1:40Speaker 1: So he took a tour of the house, and then
- 1:42Speaker 1: he kept inviting him to his island, which is in
- 1:45Speaker 1: the Bahamas. Epstein was going to be in the Bahamas
- 1:47Speaker 1: on his boat with his family and everything. So Lutnik
- 1:51Speaker 1: is Epstein's email and stop in for lunch, stop in
- 1:55Speaker 1: for so one day, and Lutnik is now admitted this.
- 1:57Speaker 1: He did stop at the island for lunch. He was
- 2:00Speaker 1: at the island, but he had with him his wife,
- 2:02Speaker 1: his four children, and some nannies, so he wasn't alone.
- 2:07Speaker 1: They simply had lunch and left. You have to remember
- 2:09Speaker 1: this is the part that it's just going to take
- 2:12Speaker 1: a while to sink in, especially with Democrats. They got
- 2:15Speaker 1: themselves all wound up and convinced that there's a client list.
- 2:19Speaker 1: He had a client list. They remember, they kept demanding
- 2:21Speaker 1: this client list, underage women, pedophile. Well that really didn't happen.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Epstein personally, I had this thing for these young girls,
- 2:30Speaker 1: and that was him. And it looks like, well one
- 2:34Speaker 1: or two of his friends got involved in that, Prince
- 2:35Speaker 1: Andrew and who knows, maybe another one or two. But
- 2:38Speaker 1: all these names involved with Epstein, and many times it
- 2:41Speaker 1: was women, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, but it was older women,
- 2:45Speaker 1: you know, women in their thirties, forties, fifties. That's what
- 2:49Speaker 1: these guys liked. And there were a couple that liked
- 2:52Speaker 1: the glamorous twenty something fashion models. Epstein had a bunch
- 2:56Speaker 1: of those sprinkled around his parties. But as first the
- 3:00Speaker 1: under age girls, that was Epstein personally and maybe one
- 3:02Speaker 1: or two friends, and there was no client list of it.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I mean, the only clients he had were for his
- 3:07Speaker 1: wealth management fund. And that's a list of about six names.
- 3:10Speaker 1: But I think there's about five million pages released, apparently
- 3:16Speaker 1: three million more pages coming. And you can go to it.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Just google Epstein files and it will take you to
- 3:24Speaker 1: the Department of Justice website where it's up there. They
- 3:27Speaker 1: call it the Epstein Library. It has a search bar
- 3:31Speaker 1: you can type in whoever you want. You can read
- 3:33Speaker 1: all the stuff, and a lot of it's fascinating stuff.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Apparently Epstein a big, big Howard Stern fan, and he
- 3:43Speaker 1: latched on to Jackie Martling. They started emailing back and forth,
- 3:46Speaker 1: and Jackie apparently came to the house, came to parties,
- 3:50Speaker 1: and then he used Jackiet introduce them to other people,
- 3:53Speaker 1: Gilbert Godfried, Nick DePaulo, a bunch of other comedians. He
- 3:58Speaker 1: had become good friends with Woody Allen. The reason is
- 4:00Speaker 1: Woody Allen always is looking for financing for his movies.
- 4:04Speaker 1: So Woody Allen is coming to the house, coming to lunches,
- 4:06Speaker 1: coming to dinners. And then at one point Epstein is
- 4:12Speaker 1: always trying to set up these dinners when you got
- 4:14Speaker 1: one or two celebrities, just try to lure in other celebrities.
- 4:18Speaker 1: So he writes to soon Ye, Woody Allen's wife, if
- 4:22Speaker 1: he's setting up a dinner, and apparently Dick Capitol be there,
- 4:27Speaker 1: and he writes back, how about Howard Stern? Why don't
- 4:30Speaker 1: I get Howard Stern to come? And soon Ye has
- 4:33Speaker 1: to write back to him and explain to him Woody
- 4:36Speaker 1: is a huge enemy of Howard Stern. Howard Stern went
- 4:39Speaker 1: on the air and bashed Woody constantly, really went after
- 4:43Speaker 1: him during the scandal. He will not be in the
- 4:45Speaker 1: same room with Howard Stern. She had explained this to Epstein.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Apparently he was really trying to get Chris rockin with
- 4:52Speaker 1: this group. There's a comedian, Bobby Slayton, very very good comedian.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Maybe not that well known to everybody, but very very
- 5:00Speaker 1: good comedian, works all over the place. So he really
- 5:02Speaker 1: got close to Bobby Slayton. In fact, Epstein owned a
- 5:06Speaker 1: bunch of apartments. Whenever Bobby Slayton came to New York,
- 5:09Speaker 1: Epstein would lend him an apartment to stay in. So
- 5:12Speaker 1: he's using him, trying to get him to invite Chris Rock,
- 5:17Speaker 1: trying to get him to get Louis c. K to
- 5:18Speaker 1: show up at the house. Apparently they were working on
- 5:22Speaker 1: Lewis Black, and Lewis Black did come to a party there,
- 5:27Speaker 1: but it was with Bobby Slayton, Woody, Allen, Dick Cavett,
- 5:31Speaker 1: and the magician David Blaine, and he said it was
- 5:36Speaker 1: a lot of big names there. It was a big
- 5:37Speaker 1: glamorous sort of a party, but apparently Slayton was not
- 5:41Speaker 1: too thrilled with the atmosphere. I mean, lewis black and
- 5:45Speaker 1: never returned. But if you want go to the Epstein library,
- 5:49Speaker 1: it's up online. You can. I'm typing in all these names.
- 5:52Speaker 1: One day, I just said, let me type in my name. Well,
- 5:56Speaker 1: I came up six times in the Epstein files. All
- 5:58Speaker 1: harmless stuff, nothing, nothing bad. And I'm talking to a
- 6:03Speaker 1: friend of mine last night, the big comedian. I don't
- 6:05Speaker 1: want to mention any names, but he said, hell, you're
- 6:08Speaker 1: doing in the Epstein How could you be in those
- 6:10Speaker 1: Epstein I said, it's just harmless stuff. He was coming
- 6:12Speaker 1: to a lunch I was Empstein. He was emailing with
- 6:15Speaker 1: Jackie about being none of my show. Nothing. But so
- 6:20Speaker 1: I said to this comedian and I said, hey, type
- 6:21Speaker 1: your name and you may come up. He said, I'm
- 6:24Speaker 1: not going to come. And I hear him typing the keyboard,
- 6:26Speaker 1: and then I hear him go, oh my god. I said,
- 6:30Speaker 1: you're in there, aren't He says, yeah, I'm in it. Well,
- 6:31Speaker 1: it turned out Epstein was going to some show where
- 6:34Speaker 1: this guy was on the bill and his name was
- 6:36Speaker 1: just listed as being in the bill, so you'd be surprised.
- 6:40Speaker 1: All of his American Express bills are up there. And
- 6:44Speaker 1: if you look at this stuff, there's some guys I
- 6:46Speaker 1: know who were very involved in a bad way with Epstein.
- 6:50Speaker 1: And if you look at this stuff, they're all putting
- 6:52Speaker 1: it and writing there, emailing back and forth about women,
- 6:56Speaker 1: they're texting back and forth. All of his texts are
- 6:58Speaker 1: up there too. Who the hell would put this stuff
- 7:00Speaker 1: in writing? Now? A lot of this is back in
- 7:02Speaker 1: two thousand and five, two thousand and six. People weren't
- 7:05Speaker 1: as cautious about what they did online back then. But
- 7:09Speaker 1: so there's more pages, about three million more pages that
- 7:12Speaker 1: should be coming out pretty soon. Billy Joel took his
- 7:16Speaker 1: house off the market, the Long Island house. They say
- 7:19Speaker 1: Oyster Bay. It's actually on Center Island. You have to
- 7:22Speaker 1: go all the way to the top at Oyster Bay.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Then take this what's that road? Shore Road? You gotta
- 7:27Speaker 1: take this road forever. Center Island is beautiful. It's like
- 7:30Speaker 1: a private island with You've got to go over a
- 7:33Speaker 1: little bridge. There's a security guard there. Very secure, very private,
- 7:37Speaker 1: but too far away. You know, you get off the lye,
- 7:41Speaker 1: youre's still forty minutes from your house. It's annoying. So
- 7:43Speaker 1: he had it on the market for fifty million, then
- 7:47Speaker 1: it was twenty five million. Then they split it in half.
- 7:51Speaker 1: They divided up the property, tried to sell separately. Apparently
- 7:54Speaker 1: it's not selling. Just took it off the market. I
- 7:56Speaker 1: don't know why Long Island real estate booming, but apparently
- 8:00Speaker 1: people don't want to be out on that island. Hey,
- 8:02Speaker 1: those people that take ozempic not just those epic. You know,
- 8:06Speaker 1: there's a whole bunch of those mumjarro whatever it is.
- 8:09Speaker 1: There's there's like four or five of those, they call
- 8:11Speaker 1: them glp ones. Every if you're taking that, you will
- 8:15Speaker 1: lose a lot of weight. You see, these people get
- 8:17Speaker 1: so skinny. But every two weeks another side effect comes out,
- 8:21Speaker 1: another disease they're getting as a result, problems with their teeth,
- 8:24Speaker 1: problems with this, their skin starts sagging.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Well.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Doctors are now finding out people on those weight loss
- 8:31Speaker 1: things are getting and this is nobody. This is old
- 8:34Speaker 1: disease sailors used to get. They're getting scurvy. Scurvy which
- 8:38Speaker 1: is an old old disease that includes extreme fatigue, joint pain,
- 8:42Speaker 1: gum disease, skin hemorrhages. It comes from malnutrition because you're lacking,
- 8:48Speaker 1: you're not eating the right things, and you're getting vitamin deficiencies.
- 8:52Speaker 1: It's actually causing scurvy. Hey, you know, I talked to
- 8:55Speaker 1: all the supermarket owners and apparently this o zempic stuff
- 9:00Speaker 1: has really hurt their business because as people go on
- 9:02Speaker 1: these drugs, they eat a lot less. They might even
- 9:06Speaker 1: eat the same thing, but they're eating one third of
- 9:08Speaker 1: what they used to eat. So they're purchasing like sixty
- 9:12Speaker 1: five percent less groceries. And if you you know, if
- 9:15Speaker 1: it's twenty percent of your customers, thirty percent of your
- 9:17Speaker 1: customers on these weight loss drugs, it's really affected them.
- 9:21Speaker 1: They're just buying less food. And in a lot of
- 9:24Speaker 1: restaurants now they have to make like an ozempic portion
- 9:27Speaker 1: because when you're on this ozempic, you can eat, but
- 9:29Speaker 1: you'll take like three bites in your full so you're
- 9:32Speaker 1: going to waste most of your entrees. So they're actually
- 9:36Speaker 1: putting out in some restaurants ozempic menus where little little
- 9:40Speaker 1: small portions of everything. Hey, President Trump has set a
- 9:44Speaker 1: new record. You know, Joe Biden hardly ever talked of
- 9:48Speaker 1: the press press conference once every two years, and it
- 9:51Speaker 1: would be two minutes long. He'd take two questions and
- 9:54Speaker 1: they had to write out the question ahead of time
- 9:56Speaker 1: and write out the answer. He'd read the answer. Well,
- 9:59Speaker 1: President Trump, he's on only been in office. It's actually
- 10:03Speaker 1: a year. It's like a year and a week year.
- 10:05Speaker 1: In a couple weeks, he's done five hundred press interactions,
- 10:10Speaker 1: formal press conferences and just times where he let the
- 10:13Speaker 1: press in and ask him questions. So formal informal press conferences,
- 10:17Speaker 1: he's done five hundred of them in one year. That's
- 10:22Speaker 1: like at one point eight a day. Five hundred in
- 10:26Speaker 1: one year compared to like three that Joe Biden did
- 10:28Speaker 1: in four years. It's an amazing accomplishment. Pretty good. Hey,
- 10:32Speaker 1: you know people in the super Bowl, they said, when
- 10:34Speaker 1: the player wins the super Bowl, well, how much money
- 10:37Speaker 1: does he win? Well, if you're Sam Darnold, you won
- 10:43Speaker 1: the bonus you get for playing in the super Bowl
- 10:45Speaker 1: one hundred and seventy eight thousand. It's one hundred and
- 10:48Speaker 1: seventy eight thousand for one game. But you know, most
- 10:53Speaker 1: of these states have these crazy tax things where they
- 10:55Speaker 1: tax players if you come into a city or a state,
- 11:00Speaker 1: to play a game, your earnings for that day get taxed.
- 11:03Speaker 1: And in California they got a huge tax on players.
- 11:09Speaker 1: So he made one hundred and seventy eight thousand that day,
- 11:12Speaker 1: but the tax bill is two hundred and fifty thousand,
- 11:16Speaker 1: so he actually lost about seventy five thousand that day.
- 11:19Speaker 1: It's absolutely insane. But it's California, it's Democrat, it's blue.
- 11:24Speaker 1: The taxes are ridiculous. They call it the jock tax.
- 11:27Speaker 1: So if you come into a state to play, you're
- 11:29Speaker 1: getting taxed. A bunch of states have this. Seattle is
- 11:32Speaker 1: in Washington, they're trying to start this. Some teams have
- 11:35Speaker 1: actually moved away to get away from this. But can
- 11:38Speaker 1: imagine that the tax bill for him coming into play
- 11:41Speaker 1: that one day two hundred and fifty thousand bucks. Absolutely ridiculous.
- 11:48Speaker 1: And Tom Brady at the Super Bowl, he's got this
- 11:50Speaker 1: thing about watches. Now, I mean crazy watches. You know,
- 11:54Speaker 1: you can buy a Rolex for sixty thousand, you can
- 11:57Speaker 1: buy a Protect Philip for one. But he's at these
- 12:03Speaker 1: seven hundred thousand dollar watches, eight hundred thousand dollars watches,
- 12:06Speaker 1: different one for each game. And I don't know why
- 12:09Speaker 1: that is He's usually a you know, more of a layback,
- 12:13Speaker 1: quiet sort of guy. You know, he dresses kind of
- 12:15Speaker 1: business like. But the watches, so at the Super Bowl
- 12:18Speaker 1: he was showing off an eye popping ceramic rare ceramic
- 12:22Speaker 1: blue automor Piquet Royal Oak five hundred thousand dollars. One
- 12:26Speaker 1: of his cheaper watches only five hundred thousand. Hey, JP
- 12:30Speaker 1: Morgan Chase, you know, if you work there, and they
- 12:32Speaker 1: got thousands and thousands and thousands of employees there, you
- 12:36Speaker 1: have to come to the office five days a week. Now,
- 12:39Speaker 1: most companies want you back in the office, but like here,
- 12:43Speaker 1: a lot of places, you know, Monday's remote, maybe Friday's remote.
- 12:46Speaker 1: You come in three days a week, but not JP
- 12:49Speaker 1: Morgan Chase. You got to be there every day. Some
- 12:53Speaker 1: employees want to work from home. They said they can't.
- 12:56Speaker 1: They're afraid. They said it would be career suicide. The chairman,
- 13:00Speaker 1: Jamie Diamond, is very tough about this. They think it'd
- 13:02Speaker 1: be total suicide not to come in five days a week.
- 13:06Speaker 1: You know, Jamie Diamond is like Pauli and Goodfellows. You know,
- 13:10Speaker 1: by coming back to work, I'm not saying you got
- 13:12Speaker 1: to go back this minute, but you got to go back.
- 13:14Speaker 1: You know, it's not just JP Morgan. Other companies, just
- 13:18Speaker 1: finance companies start to do this. Goldman Sachs now demands
- 13:21Speaker 1: everybody come in five days a week. PNC plans to
- 13:26Speaker 1: have all its staffers back in the office full time beginning.
- 13:30Speaker 1: This may all right, it's eventually, I think everybody will
- 13:35Speaker 1: be back at work all the time. Hey, if you
- 13:38Speaker 1: live in New York City, you got to send your
- 13:40Speaker 1: kid to a private school. You got some of the supposedly,
- 13:43Speaker 1: I don't really think so, but supposedly the finest private
- 13:46Speaker 1: schools in Manhattan, Spence Dalton, these kind of schools, and
- 13:50Speaker 1: there's you know what it costs to go there. Now,
- 13:52Speaker 1: it's a high school, it's a grade school, high school.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Seventy thousand a year. That's more than many colleges seventy
- 14:00Speaker 1: in a year for private school. Those two and then
- 14:03Speaker 1: maybe five others are more than seventy thousand a year.
- 14:08Speaker 1: And again, you know, you send your kid there and
- 14:10Speaker 1: they come back like a total socialist communist when they
- 14:13Speaker 1: get out of there. Anyway, we'll take some calls next
- 14:15Speaker 1: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Eight hundred three, two, one zero seven ten in Mark
- 14:24Speaker 1: on demand by setting a preset for his podcast on
- 14:28Speaker 1: the iHeartRadio app.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Now back to Mark Simone on wor.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Well, Hey, President Trump a big interview today. He'll be
- 14:37Speaker 1: on Cudlow Fox Business Network. I think the whole hour.
- 14:40Speaker 1: So that should be pretty interesting because Larry Cudler usually
- 14:43Speaker 1: gets the best out of him financially, economy, all that
- 14:46Speaker 1: kind of stuff. Let's go to Kathy in North Carolina. Kathy,
- 14:50Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 14:51Speaker 3: Hey, we are digging ticking out from an inch of snow.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Still, well, we're digging out from about eight inches of snows.
- 15:00Speaker 4: So I.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Wanted to talk about the gut three case and that the.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Well you put your seat belt down so we don't
- 15:10Speaker 1: hear that.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Sorry, I pulled over. I'm doing meals on wheels, so
- 15:14Speaker 3: I'm doing a good thing. But uh, you know, I
- 15:17Speaker 3: was very frustrated with the sheriff a week ago who said,
- 15:19Speaker 3: you know, mind your own business, don't try to be uh,
- 15:23Speaker 3: you know, an armchair sleuth.
- 15:24Speaker 5: Blah blah blah.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Because the public has been very helpful in the past,
- 15:29Speaker 3: especially with online stuff. People solve crimes.
- 15:32Speaker 5: You wouldn't believe.
- 15:33Speaker 3: It because no one talks about it. But anyway, I
- 15:35Speaker 3: thought you'd like this movie thing. I think we should
- 15:37Speaker 3: do one.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Thing about that sheriff. Was pretty dopey, that local sheriff.
- 15:41Speaker 1: In fact, they've told me I told him to stay off,
- 15:43Speaker 1: stay off TV and stopped talking. And the Fed.
- 15:46Speaker 3: I think we could do a hail Mary when.
- 15:48Speaker 1: It's hard to get a word in with her. The
- 15:51Speaker 1: Feds have taken over, gotten rid of that sheriff who
- 15:54Speaker 1: was holding these terrible press conferences saying all kinds of
- 15:57Speaker 1: awful things, and Feds like quiet. They don't make any
- 16:01Speaker 1: public statements, although Savannah Guthrie has asked the public to help.
- 16:06Speaker 1: That's very, very important.
- 16:08Speaker 3: No matter where you are, even if you're far from Tucson,
- 16:11Speaker 3: if you see anything, you hear anything, if there's anything
- 16:15Speaker 3: at all that seems strange to you.
- 16:19Speaker 2: That you report to law enforcement.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Yeah, they've got It's not like New York. In the
- 16:25Speaker 1: middle of Manhattan. There's a surveillance camera everywhere, on every
- 16:27Speaker 1: inch of Manhattan, everywhere you know that terrible Luigi Manngione
- 16:31Speaker 1: shooting that captured on video, because there's security cameras everywhere.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Now in a place like Tucson, it's only maybe a
- 16:38Speaker 1: major intersection or something. But they have some of that.
- 16:41Speaker 1: They've been looking at those videos. And you know the
- 16:44Speaker 1: problem with these A ring cameras, doorbell cameras. Maybe the
- 16:48Speaker 1: neighbors have one. As it was explaining before, it is
- 16:51Speaker 1: so dark there. It's out in the desert and Tucson,
- 16:54Speaker 1: it's so dark. The cameras really don't see anything at night.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Let's go to Mike in Bayside. Mike, how you doing.
- 17:02Speaker 5: Hey, I got to comment about Tom Brady. But about
- 17:04Speaker 5: the Guphrey case. My guess is like maybe she had
- 17:08Speaker 5: like some psychopath landscaper that she like yelled at, and
- 17:13Speaker 5: then he's got some cousins in Mexico. They grabbed her,
- 17:15Speaker 5: they brought her to Mexico.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Well, you're not wrong. They do believe it was somebody
- 17:19Speaker 1: familiar with the house or the situation. They have been
- 17:21Speaker 1: looking at every worker that had anything to do with
- 17:24Speaker 1: that house. They are looking at them. What's the Tom
- 17:26Speaker 1: Brady think?
- 17:27Speaker 5: Yeah, Tom Brady, two things. Number One, if he's wearing
- 17:30Speaker 5: those watches, I think he's probably getting money out of it.
- 17:33Speaker 5: I mean he got like fifty million at Sam bankman freed.
- 17:37Speaker 5: And about he's dating that girl Alex Earl. If he
- 17:40Speaker 5: marries her, his step mother in law will be asking
- 17:44Speaker 5: dupre Elliott Spitcher's prostitute. I'm sure Elliott Spitcher right now
- 17:47Speaker 5: is rooting against that because if he marries Alex Earl,
- 17:51Speaker 5: Elliot Spitcher will be in the news thousands and thousands
- 17:53Speaker 5: of times. Is linked to Tom Brady.
- 17:56Speaker 1: You see, you see all these women Tom Brady's with.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I don't think I's to worry about I'm getting married
- 18:00Speaker 1: anytime soon. I don't think that's something he's looking at.
- 18:03Speaker 1: He seems to be having fun. Why spoil it all.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Let's go to Miguel and Elizabeth. Miguel, how you doing?
- 18:11Speaker 4: How you doing?
- 18:12Speaker 2: Mark?
- 18:12Speaker 4: It's great to talk to you, first time caller, but
- 18:15Speaker 4: I listened to you a long time ago when you
- 18:18Speaker 4: were on w ABC, I think, and I found you
- 18:22Speaker 4: here the week that Curtis was covering. Oh yeah, so
- 18:28Speaker 4: I wanted to talk about Mamdami and this snow that
- 18:31Speaker 4: he was. He failed tremendously in this snowstorm. You know what,
- 18:38Speaker 4: what can they can be done to get rid of
- 18:40Speaker 4: this mayor because he's terrible well with him is uh?
- 18:45Speaker 4: Social media and all this stuff. Nothing is getting done
- 18:49Speaker 4: and he's making believe he didn't know about the twelve
- 18:51Speaker 4: billion dollars. I mean, Adams mentioned this like three years ago. Good,
- 18:57Speaker 4: we're going to be in a deficit.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Excellent points, Miguel, good call. You did very well there, Miguel,
- 19:01Speaker 1: thanks for calling call us again. You have mom Donnie.
- 19:04Speaker 1: There's a twelve billion dollar budget deficit. And he said,
- 19:07Speaker 1: this is outrageous. I can't believe this. We're gonna have
- 19:10Speaker 1: to do well. It was well known. Adams used to
- 19:12Speaker 1: talk about it in his speeches. It was very very
- 19:15Speaker 1: public knowledge. So imagine taking the job. You never even
- 19:19Speaker 1: bothered to look at the books before you took the
- 19:20Speaker 1: job knowing about this. But again, he's thirty two years
- 19:24Speaker 1: old or whatever he is. He's never had a job before.
- 19:27Speaker 1: The snow removal was terrible that. It turns out one
- 19:30Speaker 1: of the problems was, well, leading up to a big snowstorm,
- 19:33Speaker 1: you got to go out and hire shovelers, day laborers.
- 19:36Speaker 1: You hire them and usually try to get about five
- 19:39Speaker 1: six thousand of them for a major snowstorm. He only
- 19:42Speaker 1: got fifteen hundred. You have to go out and advertise
- 19:45Speaker 1: for them, and you know, do a search for them.
- 19:48Speaker 1: He did such a half hearted attempt. He didn't get
- 19:51Speaker 1: any Now there's a guy who's the director of emergency Management.
- 19:55Speaker 1: You could blame him too, but he's been in the
- 19:57Speaker 1: job for about three and a half years. He was
- 20:02Speaker 1: Eric Adams guy. He was still there through this storm.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Maybe he's not paying as much attention as he was before.
- 20:09Speaker 1: But he leaves tomorrow. Today's last day, so his number
- 20:14Speaker 1: two takes over. And now this guy says, don't worry,
- 20:17Speaker 1: the number two is very competent. Well, we'll see. Hey,
- 20:20Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly will be with us next. He was at
- 20:22Speaker 1: the super Bowl. He went to every event, every party, everything.
- 20:25Speaker 1: He can give us the all the behind the scenes
- 20:28Speaker 1: scoop on what really happened out there in California at
- 20:32Speaker 1: the super Bowl. We'll talk to him next on seven
- 20:34Speaker 1: to ten. Wor Mark Simone. Well, Bill O'Reilly the number
- 20:42Speaker 1: one TV anchor for decades. He's now the number one
- 20:44Speaker 1: best selling nonfiction author on Earth. Make sure you get
- 20:47Speaker 1: his latest book, Confronting Evil. You'll love it. Now you
- 20:50Speaker 1: can watch his TV show every night. You just go
- 20:53Speaker 1: to Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly dot com. Also
- 20:56Speaker 1: make sure you watch his YouTube channel, Excellent Stuff. There.
- 21:00Speaker 1: How you doing.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Just back from California, So I'm okay, but still a
- 21:06Speaker 2: little chilly out here on Long Island. I know I'm whining,
- 21:09Speaker 2: but that is the fact.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Well, now you covered every inch of the super Bowl.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Tell us about the first the A lot of great
- 21:15Speaker 1: parties for that week.
- 21:18Speaker 2: You know, I'm not a party guy. Some money, you know, me,
- 21:21Speaker 2: not a schmooz arama guy. I did attend a few
- 21:27Speaker 2: of them, in the sense of business. That's what it
- 21:31Speaker 2: was primarily about for me, not fun. The highlight was
- 21:36Speaker 2: in a long conversation with Governor News and I watched
- 21:43Speaker 2: him and he's really a good retail politician. This guy
- 21:48Speaker 2: a couple of things about it. He doesn't he doesn't
- 21:50Speaker 2: travel with a security guard, which I was very surprised
- 21:56Speaker 2: in this day and age. You know, he kind of
- 21:58Speaker 2: flounces around on his own. I didn't see any state
- 22:01Speaker 2: police with him. There was one guy that I guess
- 22:05Speaker 2: was his aid, and I talked to him. I said,
- 22:08Speaker 2: where's the steak cups? And he goes, well, in this
- 22:11Speaker 2: kind of a situation, we don't really need them. I'd
- 22:14Speaker 2: be careful. And I told him, said I'd be careful.
- 22:18Speaker 2: But as you know, really invited me on his podcast,
- 22:22Speaker 2: and if that happens, that will be a major event.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Of course, I said, sure, now would be something and
- 22:30Speaker 2: he did that. You know, I didn't suggest it, he
- 22:34Speaker 2: just did it well. And you know, they were the
- 22:39Speaker 2: wealthiest people on earth there at the parties. And this
- 22:46Speaker 2: is the apex of capitalism. The Super Bowl, A lot
- 22:49Speaker 2: of excess thirty six dollar cheeseburgers, two scrambled eggs, simone
- 22:55Speaker 2: twenty two dollars.
- 22:57Speaker 1: That's a lot of scrawling.
- 23:00Speaker 2: So I can't do that. Even though I wasn't paying
- 23:03Speaker 2: on News Nation was picking up to tab because we're
- 23:06Speaker 2: doing a big documentary the collapse of social order in
- 23:09Speaker 2: San Francisco, and the same thing will happen in New
- 23:13Speaker 2: York City one year from today, I predict.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Oh god, hey, Newsome not having a lot of security run.
- 23:18Speaker 1: As you know, usually a politician that doesn't have a
- 23:21Speaker 1: security round is up to something, playing around, doing something.
- 23:25Speaker 2: I wouldn't say that. I don't know. It's a more
- 23:28Speaker 2: casual thing out there than it is here on the
- 23:30Speaker 2: East Coast. I don't know what he's up to. I
- 23:33Speaker 2: don't think he's run the state of California very well.
- 23:36Speaker 2: I wouldn't live there in a million years. I'm never
- 23:40Speaker 2: going to go back to San Francisco unless I have to.
- 23:43Speaker 2: I mean that city, I've been going there forty five years.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Was once the jewel of American cities. It is a dingy, dirty,
- 23:52Speaker 2: dangerous place.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Now, well, hey, tell me about Roger Goodell. I've been
- 23:56Speaker 1: met him a couple of times. Seems like a real dull,
- 23:59Speaker 1: sort of a stern sort of a guy. What's the
- 24:01Speaker 1: real Roger Goodell?
- 24:02Speaker 5: Like?
- 24:04Speaker 2: He's gregarious, making about one hundred million a year. It's
- 24:09Speaker 2: not bad, right, Yeah, little known fact. I worked with
- 24:13Speaker 2: his wife at Fox News, Jane Skinner, a very nice woman.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Always look forward to talking to Jane. Goodell is a businessman,
- 24:25Speaker 2: and that's why bad Bunny was at the halftime show.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I have a message to day on Bill O'Reilly dot
- 24:31Speaker 2: com explaining it wasn't about being socially correct or woke,
- 24:38Speaker 2: or wasn't about any of that. It's about Apple.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Ah No, that's interesting.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Yeah, you read the message. So Apple's invested an enormous
- 24:47Speaker 2: amount of money in the NFL through advertising and other ways.
- 24:53Speaker 2: And Tim Cook, the CEO, was there. I did not
- 24:57Speaker 2: talk to him. I don't I could have, but I
- 25:02Speaker 2: don't know. Really, I didn't even have a lot to
- 25:04Speaker 2: say to him. We were still compiling information about Bad Bunny.
- 25:09Speaker 2: I didn't have it all when I ran into him.
- 25:12Speaker 2: So here's what happened. So Apple set up in this season,
- 25:19Speaker 2: not only funding the entire halftime show, and Bad Bunny
- 25:23Speaker 2: did not get paid. Did you know that?
- 25:27Speaker 1: No, I didn't.
- 25:28Speaker 2: He didn't get a dime. He got expenses for him
- 25:32Speaker 2: in his little entourage. And Apple wanted Bad Bunny at
- 25:39Speaker 2: the halftime show to sell downloads for Apple Music. That's
- 25:46Speaker 2: what it was all about. So a deal was made
- 25:49Speaker 2: and they put up all this money for the NFL,
- 25:52Speaker 2: and then the Bunny Man shows up, and that's what happened.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Now, it is kind of funny watching all the demo
- 26:00Speaker 1: left wing the media, especially the older ones, have to
- 26:03Speaker 1: pretend that they're big Bad Bunny fans just because it's
- 26:06Speaker 1: the latest anti Trump thing to do. It is comical
- 26:09Speaker 1: to watch, isn't it.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Yeah? I guess so. I mean, I was at the
- 26:13Speaker 2: stadium and I couldn't really hear the malevolent Rabbit, but
- 26:18Speaker 2: I saw him jumping up and down and grabbing his crotch,
- 26:22Speaker 2: you know, it's still there, Bad Bunny. I don't know
- 26:24Speaker 2: why you have to check it every three minutes, but
- 26:29Speaker 2: I don't care. I don't care. For me, Earth Wind
- 26:33Speaker 2: and Fire would do the halftime show. But if Bad
- 26:37Speaker 2: Bunny wants to hop around on the stage with a
- 26:39Speaker 2: bunch of tattooed people arriving around, that doesn't matter to me.
- 26:45Speaker 2: And I'm different than a lot of people because they
- 26:47Speaker 2: get angry. I'm not angry at Bad Bunny. I mean,
- 26:51Speaker 2: Bad Bunny is a shrewd ombre. He has a low
- 26:56Speaker 2: level of talent in my opinion. But again, I'm not now, Oh,
- 27:00Speaker 2: I don't listen to this rap stuff. What do we
- 27:02Speaker 2: get into that. I speak a little bit of Spanish,
- 27:05Speaker 2: but you know, all he's ranting and raven about is
- 27:09Speaker 2: I can't even say it on the radio, but it's
- 27:13Speaker 2: like okay. But a lot of younger people like Bad Bunny,
- 27:18Speaker 2: and when I asked them why they like him, they
- 27:21Speaker 2: can't explain it. So I think he's a manufactured celebrity.
- 27:27Speaker 2: But I mean, it's not like Michael Jackson. You may
- 27:30Speaker 2: loathe him, but he was very talented. I don't see
- 27:37Speaker 2: that in Bad Bunny.
- 27:38Speaker 1: I know, but he hates Trump, and that's enough reason
- 27:40Speaker 1: for young people to lash onto him and he.
- 27:42Speaker 2: I guess that might be part of it.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Yeah, Hey, just all those people we saw sitting in
- 27:48Speaker 1: the stands, what do they pay to go to the
- 27:50Speaker 1: Super Bowl?
- 27:52Speaker 2: Well? Top secondary ticket was thirty grand WOA, thirty thousand,
- 27:58Speaker 2: and the cheapest ticket that I saw was four thousand,
- 28:03Speaker 2: So that lets out any families or you know, this
- 28:06Speaker 2: is a capitalist event, that's what it is. And then
- 28:12Speaker 2: you go into the stadium and they're hawk in the
- 28:15Speaker 2: nachos for fifteen dollars. You know you're going all right.
- 28:19Speaker 2: But everybody knows when they go to a spectacle like
- 28:25Speaker 2: that that it's just part of the mosaic. You're going
- 28:29Speaker 2: to be gouged. If you wanted to park close to
- 28:33Speaker 2: the stadium, it's two hundred and fifty bucks.
- 28:35Speaker 4: What what?
- 28:38Speaker 2: Yep?
- 28:39Speaker 1: Okay? Well, if you want to read more about the
- 28:41Speaker 1: Super Bowl week what really goes on there, check out
- 28:43Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly dot com. A lot of stuff there Bill
- 28:45Speaker 1: O'Reilly dot com. Hey, the Epstein hearings, the Clintons, do
- 28:50Speaker 1: they have anything to worry about?
- 28:52Speaker 2: Flat the head of the Oversight Committee on my No
- 28:57Speaker 2: Spin News broadcast last night, and that will be pretty
- 29:02Speaker 2: interesting because they can't take the Fifth Amendment like Maxwell
- 29:06Speaker 2: did yesterday. And if we're up to me, Maxwell would
- 29:10Speaker 2: never get out of prison ever. In fact, I think
- 29:15Speaker 2: I would send her some more Devil's Island or something.
- 29:18Speaker 2: She's a horrendous human being. But the Clinton's with Bill Clinton,
- 29:27Speaker 2: they want to focus in on what the deuce he
- 29:31Speaker 2: was doing with Epstein? What were you doing? Now? He's
- 29:38Speaker 2: not going to tell you what he was doing, Bill Clinton,
- 29:43Speaker 2: But apparently the Oversight Committee has done a lot of investigating.
- 29:47Speaker 2: They have a lot of stuff that has not been
- 29:49Speaker 2: put out for Hillary. It's about the Clinton Foundation for
- 29:54Speaker 2: the chariteal arm that they had, and Epstein provided his
- 29:59Speaker 2: playing and resources to that charitable organization and nobody of
- 30:04Speaker 2: course knew it. But this is not good for the Clintons.
- 30:08Speaker 2: There's no positive that comes out of this for either
- 30:11Speaker 2: of them.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Yeah, and apparently Epstein was very much a part of
- 30:15Speaker 1: putting together the Clinton Global Initiative, original funding, all that
- 30:18Speaker 1: sort of stuff.
- 30:19Speaker 2: So he was deeply involved in it. Epstein was a
- 30:23Speaker 2: sociopath who live for two things, to his proclivities and
- 30:33Speaker 2: to curry to hang around with people who were powerful.
- 30:38Speaker 2: That was it. That was his life. And when you
- 30:41Speaker 2: were in New York and you were at that level,
- 30:45Speaker 2: you knew him. He was around and he spread around
- 30:48Speaker 2: a lot of money and invite people here, there and everywhere.
- 30:54Speaker 2: And then when Trump got in the beef with him,
- 30:58Speaker 2: you know, Trump, I think knew that this guy was
- 31:03Speaker 2: committing a lot of rhymes and you know, pretty much
- 31:08Speaker 2: distance himself. You know, we traced it and it wasn't
- 31:14Speaker 2: a lot of interaction. But in the nineties, you know,
- 31:18Speaker 2: they ran in the same circles of the New York
- 31:21Speaker 2: City upper echelon.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Yeah, well, it's an amazing story. Bill O'Reilly, great stuff
- 31:30Speaker 1: on the You go to Bill O'Reilly dot com. You
- 31:32Speaker 1: can you can get his column and get the TV
- 31:34Speaker 1: show Billilly dot com and great stuff on YouTube. I
- 31:37Speaker 1: love the YouTube channel.
- 31:38Speaker 2: That's a thank you. Tonight we have whether the Republicans
- 31:43Speaker 2: can hold on in November. And if I had to
- 31:46Speaker 2: bed today, I would say, no, Well, you can watch
- 31:49Speaker 2: that tonight and we're going to back it. We're going
- 31:51Speaker 2: to back it up. But if it's all about Donald Trump,
- 31:56Speaker 2: it's not about the two parties. And if Trump does
- 31:59Speaker 2: a few adjustments and these TAXII funds help, which they
- 32:04Speaker 2: should the economy. Then the odds will swing back. But
- 32:11Speaker 2: if the vorehil today, the Republicans would lose the House
- 32:17Speaker 2: for sure, and maybe even a Senate. Well, everybody, what
- 32:21Speaker 2: people are? You know, they're they're confused. That's the best sport.
- 32:25Speaker 2: So we'll do that on YouTube. I ran into the
- 32:27Speaker 2: head of YouTube, the guy runs it, and he said, boy,
- 32:32Speaker 2: your YouTube channel is on fire. I say, thank you,
- 32:37Speaker 2: and thanks for providing it. It's a great service.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Well, everybody take a look at Bill O'Reilly's YouTube channel.
- 32:42Speaker 1: It's great stuff, and make sure you go to billoreilly
- 32:45Speaker 1: dot com. Bill O'Reilly, thanks for being with us.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Thanks for having me.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Mark, all right, take care. Hey, don't forget bucking Clay.
- 32:51Speaker 1: They'll be here right after the news, right after the
- 32:54Speaker 1: twelve noon news here on seven to ten WR.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Mister New York March salone on WR.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Well, hey, it can be a little warmer today, will
- 33:06Speaker 1: be forty tomorrow. Don't forget. You got a three day
- 33:09Speaker 1: weekend coming up. That's good news. And I'll be back
- 33:13Speaker 1: tomorrow ten to noon. I'll talk to you then. Have
- 33:15Speaker 1: a great day. Seven ten
