- 0:00Speaker 1: Japan and China declare crypto war. Today, we'll break it
- 0:03Speaker 1: down for you. There is a lot happening in the markets.
- 0:05Speaker 1: You don't want to miss it. Let's just jump right
- 0:07Speaker 1: in if you guys will remember, we've been covering the
- 0:10Speaker 1: Japanese markets and the China markets for quite some time,
- 0:13Speaker 1: and of course you probably saw this video right there
- 0:15Speaker 1: where we talked about Japan going all in on crypto,
- 0:18Speaker 1: obviously through the sonium chain. I'll get into a little
- 0:21Speaker 1: bit of details there, even Japan and China going to
- 0:24Speaker 1: battle years ago in a lot of the Web three tokens,
- 0:29Speaker 1: which of course we talked about quite at length. So
- 0:32Speaker 1: I think what we're going to see today is an understanding.
- 0:35Speaker 1: I think where what this means for crypto in general.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Let me go to this first clip because this will
- 0:40Speaker 1: start to outline how the Japanese Prime minister triggered China.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Takaichi met Chinese President seadent Think at a regional economic
- 0:48Speaker 3: summit a few weeks ago. She's refused to walk back
- 0:52Speaker 3: her comments and says japan stands on Taiwan has not changed.
- 0:56Speaker 4: And over the.
- 0:56Speaker 5: Weekend we got this travel ban or advisory rather for
- 1:02Speaker 5: Chinese citizens traveling to Japan.
- 1:04Speaker 4: And this has Chinese ships and military drones were also
- 1:07Speaker 4: spotted thirty Chinese military aircraft, seven Navy ships, and one
- 1:12Speaker 4: Coast Guard vessel around Taiwan over the past twenty four hours.
- 1:17Speaker 6: If Chinese travelers did go down to zero, it could
- 1:20Speaker 6: have an over two hundred billion yen hit on the
- 1:22Speaker 6: Japanese economy, which obviously is pretty huge and could also
- 1:27Speaker 6: even have implications for things like the Bank of Japan.
- 1:30Speaker 1: If you look at Japan's twenty year government bond yield,
- 1:33Speaker 1: they're surging quite a bit. Government prepares to print another
- 1:36Speaker 1: one hundred and ten billion stimulus package. That's the kind
- 1:40Speaker 1: of movement right there that we're talking about. And of
- 1:42Speaker 1: course to the note there in the clip is that
- 1:46Speaker 1: the impact on just the tourism side of things much less.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I think the economy there in Japan could be a
- 1:51Speaker 1: pretty significant going forward all right within the region. You
- 1:55Speaker 1: kind of have to consider what else is going on
- 1:58Speaker 1: within China and how the US is dealing with that.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Of course, Ali Baba JP Morgan showed that partnership. Let
- 2:05Speaker 1: me go to this clip because this gets into some
- 2:07Speaker 1: interesting situations that's happening here between the United States and
- 2:12Speaker 1: Japan versus JP Morgan and China, take a look.
- 2:15Speaker 7: A second part is that we allow regings of blockchain
- 2:18Speaker 7: technology is intech tokeonization is not starting from the stable
- 2:24Speaker 7: coin like when we work with JP Morgan, they has
- 2:27Speaker 7: their own cond of organization system stable coin, welcoming to
- 2:31Speaker 7: give out it after.
- 2:33Speaker 8: This, and that's very important because there is a difference
- 2:36Speaker 8: between tokenized payments and the stables. JP Morgan this year
- 2:40Speaker 8: launched the JPMD token, which is specifically designed for cross
- 2:44Speaker 8: border business to business payments.
- 2:45Speaker 5: It's be interesting to see how that pans out.
- 2:47Speaker 9: Their report is that Ali Baba allegedly provides tech support
- 2:50Speaker 9: for Chinese military operations against targets inside the United States.
- 2:54Speaker 9: The Chinese company supplies the People's Liberation Army with access
- 2:58Speaker 9: to customer data that includes IP addresses, Wi Fi information,
- 3:02Speaker 9: and payment records, as well as AI related services.
- 3:06Speaker 8: I suspect they're taking a hard look at limiting Ali
- 3:09Speaker 8: Baba activity in the United States.
- 3:11Speaker 1: So now you've got JP Morgan that is directly entangled
- 3:16Speaker 1: with the Chinese via Ali Baba. This of course sparked
- 3:20Speaker 1: a fairly big reaction from the administration let me go
- 3:23Speaker 1: to that clip.
- 3:24Speaker 4: What are you saying about JP Morgan.
- 3:26Speaker 5: JP Morgan then de banked us at that time.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Wow soon, So JP Morgan gave us a statement, we
- 3:32Speaker 4: do not close accounts for political reasons.
- 3:34Speaker 5: Well, then why the hell did you debank Trump Media?
- 3:37Speaker 5: You know we had a clean bill of health, We
- 3:38Speaker 5: just got approval by the SEC. Why would you debank
- 3:42Speaker 5: somebody that wants to deposit two hundred and fifty million
- 3:44Speaker 5: dollars into your bank. We're going to do everything under
- 3:47Speaker 5: the law to figure out what JP Morgan knew, when
- 3:51Speaker 5: did they do it? This is easibly.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Knowable, all right, So now you have JP Morgan under investigation.
- 3:57Speaker 1: This could of course also start to stem in to
- 4:00Speaker 1: their activities around Alibaba. All things could start coming into
- 4:03Speaker 1: play here, creating a lot of pressure on JP Morgan.
- 4:06Speaker 1: And remember that a lot of this is trying to
- 4:09Speaker 1: build an infrastructure around crypto and digital asset payments. And
- 4:13Speaker 1: this is why I think XRP and Ripple are starting
- 4:15Speaker 1: to position into a scenario that it could benefit because
- 4:19Speaker 1: remember Japan and the United States starting to align here
- 4:23Speaker 1: on digital assets. And I'll explain a little bit further.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Japan is now proposing some new rules, and this is
- 4:28Speaker 1: around their digital asset taxation. They're talking about a twenty
- 4:32Speaker 1: percent flat tax. This is down from like fifty five percent.
- 4:35Speaker 1: This would be a huge move by the Japanese government
- 4:39Speaker 1: and of course it would create a tremendous activity. And remember,
- 4:43Speaker 1: let's go over just by one of the biggest exchanges
- 4:45Speaker 1: over there, Bitflyer. This is a good example.
- 4:47Speaker 2: These guys are here.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I know this isn't a lot of different tokens that
- 4:51Speaker 1: are available around Bitflyer. Point being is that it's cornering
- 4:55Speaker 1: in some of the key ones, obviously Bitcoin, ethereum, XRP.
- 4:59Speaker 1: This I think get into a situation that it could
- 5:01Speaker 1: start to influence I shouldn't say influence the United States,
- 5:05Speaker 1: but also align with the United States. I'll show you
- 5:08Speaker 1: some interesting points here, not only around what Japan has
- 5:10Speaker 1: been doing, but also how this coordinates with what the
- 5:13Speaker 1: United States is doing. Here's Sheba. You know this is
- 5:15Speaker 1: now joining Japan's green list. Now, the way this works
- 5:18Speaker 1: is there's a handful of tokens out there that get
- 5:21Speaker 1: allocated into this green list. This green list basically a
- 5:23Speaker 1: preferential treatment around taxes. This is a big benefit to
- 5:27Speaker 1: of course the Sheba community, and I want to go
- 5:29Speaker 1: to a clip real quick because this will get into
- 5:31Speaker 1: some detail around what the Sheba community did around this statement.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Imagine if crypto was treated just like stocks with insider
- 5:40Speaker 2: trading rules and everything sounds like someone's finally getting serious.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Is this happening in the US. No, Japan, The FSA
- 5:48Speaker 2: is planning a huge overhaul, slash the tax rate from
- 5:51Speaker 2: fifty five percent down to twenty percent and even let
- 5:55Speaker 2: banks hold it. That's a massive shift. Exactly.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Normally we don't put up talking dogs, but you know,
- 6:01Speaker 1: this is Sheba and the Sheba community, so you'll learn eventually.
- 6:05Speaker 1: This is kind of how crypto is. It works off
- 6:07Speaker 1: of memes. Speaking of that, you've got one right here
- 6:10Speaker 1: with Elon Musk where we've got a great Sheba Enu
- 6:13Speaker 1: playing the banjo, and of course what does it get, Well,
- 6:15Speaker 1: it gets ten point one million views. These are kind
- 6:18Speaker 1: of funny things that happen out there on crypto x.
- 6:21Speaker 1: But in general, what this does is it energizes a
- 6:24Speaker 1: lot of these communities, and this course being one of
- 6:26Speaker 1: the biggest communities out there. When it comes to the
- 6:29Speaker 1: idea of meme coins, here's a word from our sponsors. Recently,
- 6:33Speaker 1: I came across a really interesting project in DeFi and
- 6:37Speaker 1: this is a project called the Balaxy, and it's not
- 6:39Speaker 1: just another staking platform. It's actually a project that uses
- 6:42Speaker 1: a network of MeV bots to generate profit, something that
- 6:47Speaker 1: was recent previously only available to big players. That is
- 6:51Speaker 1: something I can confirm. This is one of the strategies
- 6:55Speaker 1: that I've seen used by some of the most wealthy
- 6:58Speaker 1: digital asset managers out there, and the way it works,
- 7:01Speaker 1: it's kind of cool to put it. Simply, users deposit
- 7:04Speaker 1: funds into liquidity pools. These are managed by MeTV bots,
- 7:08Speaker 1: and then these bots perform the blockchain operations. Basically, they
- 7:12Speaker 1: work off of sandwich strategies and this is where you
- 7:14Speaker 1: can earn from these network inefficiencies. That's why the system
- 7:18Speaker 1: works both in market downturns market upturns. A really good
- 7:23Speaker 1: example is just what they're doing on Mevstay. You can
- 7:26Speaker 1: kind of go to their website learn a little bit
- 7:27Speaker 1: more about that actually launched. There even a scenario of
- 7:32Speaker 1: course on stable returns, algorithmic precision all around market fluctuation.
- 7:38Speaker 1: This is some of the things that I've been looking
- 7:40Speaker 1: for for some time, and I think the key here
- 7:43Speaker 1: is as you start to get into more strategic investing,
- 7:47Speaker 1: especially around staking and utilizing, things like this, I think
- 7:51Speaker 1: are really kind of the core of how you're going
- 7:53Speaker 1: to continue to kind of use your assets to make
- 7:56Speaker 1: more money. Now, they do have a new iPhone app.
- 8:00Speaker 1: You can jump over to the Apple App Store learn
- 8:02Speaker 1: a little bit more about what they're doing there, which
- 8:04Speaker 1: is Mevstats. This is a new mobile app. Recently the
- 8:07Speaker 1: company launched it. It's now available over there on the
- 8:10Speaker 1: app Store. It allows you to track your income deposits
- 8:12Speaker 1: real time stats right from your phone, so it's very
- 8:15Speaker 1: easy and super intuitive. I've tested this one works fantastic,
- 8:20Speaker 1: and of course you guys can check it all out.
- 8:22Speaker 1: They are being covered across the industry, as you can
- 8:26Speaker 1: see right here over on vesting dot Com, a lot
- 8:28Speaker 1: of mesters switching to farming on mistake with the Valaxy.
- 8:32Speaker 1: You can kind of see that. And I think also
- 8:34Speaker 1: when you look at what they've been trying to do
- 8:36Speaker 1: to get out there with the Token twenty forty nine
- 8:39Speaker 1: presentations at that conference, this is something that I think
- 8:43Speaker 1: more projects should do, and that is get out there,
- 8:47Speaker 1: get in front of what's happening in the industry and
- 8:50Speaker 1: let people learn more about what you guys are doing.
- 8:53Speaker 1: So you guys should go over and visit the Valaxy
- 8:56Speaker 1: dot com. You can forget about the market volatility stake
- 8:59Speaker 1: one US earn every day. Other things that play into
- 9:03Speaker 1: this is Japan green lighting a consortium of major banks.
- 9:07Speaker 1: This is the combination of major banks that go around
- 9:11Speaker 1: the JPYC token, which is their stable coin. This is
- 9:14Speaker 1: important because it is not a CBDC and this is
- 9:17Speaker 1: one of the cornerstones of what Japan is trying to
- 9:20Speaker 1: do that is almost in lockstep with what the United
- 9:23Speaker 1: States is trying to do. So you've got the United States,
- 9:27Speaker 1: Japan looking at digital assets one way, and China looking
- 9:31Speaker 1: at digital assets another way. All right, let's jump over
- 9:34Speaker 1: to this article right here. This was interesting because it
- 9:36Speaker 1: breaks down how these banks are going to be connected here,
- 9:40Speaker 1: but all of this solution is going to be running
- 9:42Speaker 1: on networks like Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, Cosmos, etc. Point being
- 9:48Speaker 1: is you've got large payment infrastructure here, small payment infrastructure
- 9:51Speaker 1: here with Polygon, good example, large payments for Ethereum and Avalanche.
- 9:55Speaker 1: This gets pretty intriguing when you think about the connection
- 10:00Speaker 1: a full blown launch within the Japanese ecosystem and how
- 10:03Speaker 1: it might line up with the United States as well.
- 10:07Speaker 1: So I think their prime minister also very very friendly
- 10:10Speaker 1: with President Trump. They seem to align a lot of
- 10:13Speaker 1: things from a geopolitical stance, and of course that I
- 10:15Speaker 1: think created a little bit of that friction between Gigiping
- 10:19Speaker 1: and the Prime Minister of Japan. Just to look at
- 10:21Speaker 1: what the JPYC volume is doing. Remember this thing just launched,
- 10:25Speaker 1: but you can kind of see right here the movement
- 10:27Speaker 1: on avalanche ether polygon starting to move, as well as
- 10:31Speaker 1: the DEX volume also starting to move. He here is
- 10:34Speaker 1: that this could be the beginning of something very very
- 10:37Speaker 1: big and very quick in terms of adoption. So beyond
- 10:41Speaker 1: the lookout for what we're going to see now, remember
- 10:44Speaker 1: Ripple of course has been coordinated with what's going on
- 10:47Speaker 1: within Japan for quite some time. Our theory is that
- 10:51Speaker 1: Ripple is trying to align now more so with the
- 10:54Speaker 1: United States and what's going on in the US finance markets,
- 10:58Speaker 1: which in reality is a big, bigger pie. But this
- 11:02Speaker 1: was something that they did in early twenty twenty six
- 11:05Speaker 1: where they were bringing our LUSD in it. So key
- 11:08Speaker 1: is is they're keeping their hands in both markets. I
- 11:10Speaker 1: think this is going to be positive for Ripple, and
- 11:12Speaker 1: of course the real question is how does this play
- 11:14Speaker 1: into the JP Morgan rivalry now that might be brewing
- 11:18Speaker 1: with Ripple. Japan also eases their crypto rules around blockchain
- 11:23Speaker 1: gaming encourage a lot of activity around Web three gaming,
- 11:26Speaker 1: which is going to be another factor. This is one
- 11:27Speaker 1: of those markets that has kind of a gaming culture,
- 11:32Speaker 1: a lot around anime which ties into web three. This
- 11:35Speaker 1: gets pretty interesting in terms of where growth could come from.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Startail is one of the examples of this. They unveiled
- 11:42Speaker 1: a super app for Sony's Sonium. Remember Sonium we talked
- 11:45Speaker 1: about before. This will be kind of the all encompassing
- 11:49Speaker 1: crypto that's going to be utilized in Japan around a
- 11:52Speaker 1: blockchain ecosystem, and this is one that we've done a
- 11:55Speaker 1: couple of full videos on. If you guys want to
- 11:57Speaker 1: go back and check them out, just search Sonium on
- 11:59Speaker 1: our channel. You'll see what I'm talking about when we
- 12:01Speaker 1: go a little bit deeper. But Startail put out this.
- 12:05Speaker 1: It was a teaser and it's all around a super
- 12:08Speaker 1: app that could be launching. If this actually gets out there,
- 12:12Speaker 1: then what You've got is the potential for this right here,
- 12:16Speaker 1: which is a lot of different retailers that could start
- 12:20Speaker 1: to play into the sixty five thousand stores that most
- 12:23Speaker 1: the computer systems have built, convenience stores, drug stores. All
- 12:26Speaker 1: of this now available on the Japanese Yen stable coin JPYC.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Again remember eth Ethereum, Polygon and Avalanche tied into this network.
- 12:37Speaker 1: So pretty cool opportunities here. So when you go over
- 12:41Speaker 1: to L two B you can kind of see what's
- 12:43Speaker 1: going on inside the activity within that region, and right
- 12:47Speaker 1: there Sonium starts to flip Ethereum right there. So this
- 12:50Speaker 1: is the point I'm getting at, is that Sonium, which
- 12:52Speaker 1: will be the Japanese chain, all of this starts to
- 12:56Speaker 1: correlate around the element of payments and infrastrate ructure as
- 13:00Speaker 1: well as gaming, all the things they're going to be
- 13:02Speaker 1: talking about in a new digital economy inside the Japanese market.
- 13:05Speaker 1: So pretty cool thing. When you jump over to the
- 13:08Speaker 1: CBDC tracker, a nice little visual here we'll click on
- 13:11Speaker 1: the United States gives you a full rundown here rule
- 13:14Speaker 1: of law six point five out of ten. That's not good.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I don't like that one as much. Nine point seven
- 13:19Speaker 1: to seven though on freedom of movement, and this will
- 13:22Speaker 1: be interesting around the idea of digital assets. Outside of that,
- 13:26Speaker 1: then you can kind of take a look at some
- 13:27Speaker 1: of the other countries that are out there. We'll take
- 13:29Speaker 1: a look at Japan real quick. Let's click on Japan,
- 13:32Speaker 1: and when you look at Japan, freedom nine point six
- 13:36Speaker 1: seven out of ten, size of government, rule of law
- 13:39Speaker 1: seven point ninety nine. Very good. If you take a
- 13:41Speaker 1: look at China, this is where it gets into kind
- 13:45Speaker 1: of this head to head around digital assets. Rule of
- 13:48Speaker 1: law four out of ten, freedom of movement two point
- 13:51Speaker 1: two out of ten. So this is the point that
- 13:54Speaker 1: we're talking about on the idea of digital assets and
- 13:59Speaker 1: what we will see in stable coins, especially what's going
- 14:03Speaker 1: on in Japan versus CBDCs. So be on the lookout
- 14:06Speaker 1: because this all pertains to Ethereum. When you consider where
- 14:10Speaker 1: Ethereum is in the market, they have gone literally all
- 14:14Speaker 1: in on the Japanese, and I think inversely, the Japanese
- 14:19Speaker 1: have gone all in on Ethereum. You can kind of
- 14:21Speaker 1: see it right here with the most recent Usaka somewhat
- 14:24Speaker 1: named out of the namesake of Osaka, one of the
- 14:27Speaker 1: popular Japanese cities, and these are the main features that
- 14:30Speaker 1: will be launching early December. And I also have a
- 14:34Speaker 1: clip from DevCon that's actually happened today that'll explain a
- 14:38Speaker 1: little bit more.
- 14:39Speaker 10: Take a look, so Ethereum can already process fifty percent
- 14:42Speaker 10: more transactions than it could at the start of the year.
- 14:45Speaker 10: Over the course of twenty twenty six, we're going to
- 14:49Speaker 10: have a bunch of EPs that make it possible for
- 14:52Speaker 10: the Ethereum network to safely handle a larger amount of scale. Look,
- 14:57Speaker 10: within one to two years, the number of people who
- 15:00Speaker 10: will actually be able to have a phone note will
- 15:02Speaker 10: will increase quite a bit despite the scaling that is
- 15:06Speaker 10: happening over the next two years.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Where can we get those glasses?
- 15:10Speaker 10: I think they're like on Amazon. Unfortunately we haven't made
- 15:13Speaker 10: decentralized Amazon yet, So like hackathon idea.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I love that.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Just let's just throw out a hackathon idea for decentralized
- 15:21Speaker 1: point being is a lot of upgrades in twenty twenty
- 15:23Speaker 1: six coming, according to Vitallic. He goes further into the
- 15:27Speaker 1: same conversation around why Japan is all in on Ethereum.
- 15:33Speaker 10: Take a look the reason why Ethereum was on that
- 15:36Speaker 10: list of elements from science fiction is because there was
- 15:38Speaker 10: this Japanese movie called Castle in the Sky. One of
- 15:42Speaker 10: the central objects was, you know, the ethereum coust crystal.
- 15:45Speaker 10: The ethereum crystal is like the thing that made the
- 15:47Speaker 10: castle float. I had no idea this is where I
- 15:50Speaker 10: was from, but then you know, I called it ethereum,
- 15:52Speaker 10: and then I think our artist like probably knew about
- 15:55Speaker 10: the movie, and then like made the logo in the
- 15:57Speaker 10: shape of an ethereum crystal. And then I remember we
- 16:00Speaker 10: are like actually watching like learning about it and watching
- 16:02Speaker 10: the movie for the first time literally five years after that,
- 16:05Speaker 10: and I'm like, whoa, the crystal actually looks like the logo.
- 16:08Speaker 1: So obviously you can kind of see the connection. There
- 16:10Speaker 1: a lot of kind of soft connections that have really
- 16:14Speaker 1: created kind of the ethereum lore that I think again
- 16:17Speaker 1: is going to play out in the Japanese market. Other
- 16:20Speaker 1: thing that could be happening on the ecosystem. Remember if
- 16:24Speaker 1: we didn't, if you guys didn't check out our interview
- 16:26Speaker 1: last week with Polygon Team with Sandy, he mentioned this
- 16:31Speaker 1: and there it is tomorrow something's coming. We think somewhere
- 16:34Speaker 1: around a one trillion dollar big asset manager could be
- 16:38Speaker 1: dropping into the Polygon ecosystem. Of course, that benefits ethereum.
- 16:42Speaker 1: All right, so you guys know what to do. If
- 16:44Speaker 1: you're not in our Diamond circle, make sure and get
- 16:46Speaker 1: in right now. It's a great place to additional content
- 16:48Speaker 1: from us, and it's free. All I have to do
- 16:50Speaker 1: is hit the link down below, follow me out there
- 16:52Speaker 1: on X at Paul Baron. We'll catch you next time
- 16:55Speaker 1: right here on The Paul Baron Show.
