- 0:27Speaker 1: eight seven finest. Follow us on social media. Look for
- 0:30Speaker 1: us there at the Woody Show. And I'm gonna start
- 0:32Speaker 1: with Menace because if you're looking at our social media
- 0:34Speaker 1: over the weekend, looks like he had one hell of
- 0:36Speaker 1: a weekend, which, as you know, the the Menace Birthday
- 0:39Speaker 1: month wish list included he wanted to stay, not even stay.
- 0:44Speaker 1: The wish list said that he wanted to see He
- 0:47Speaker 1: wanted to get a tour of the Hardwood Suite at
- 0:51Speaker 1: the Palms Casino in Vegas, which is a room at
- 0:54Speaker 1: the Palms that has a basketball court. Yeah, but I
- 0:57Speaker 1: kind of feel like, of all the things in that room,
- 1:00Speaker 1: that is the that is the least cool part, dude,
- 1:05Speaker 1: because I just see in the video I'd never seen
- 1:07Speaker 1: any pictures of it or whatever. Your video, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:10Speaker 1: I saw your video. I'm assuming that's your weekend cheer. Yeah,
- 1:13Speaker 1: it is absolutely. I mean I'm just guessing. I'm just guessing.
- 1:16Speaker 2: It has five beds, seven bathrooms.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Five bedrooms. Yeah, it is that little speakeasy room look crazy. Yeah,
- 1:24Speaker 1: I didn't even know that was there. Yeah.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I was there for twenty four hours and I didn't like.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I posted a little bit of a tour, and then
- 1:30Speaker 2: the Poms reached out and they said, uh, oh we
- 1:33Speaker 2: love the the speaks and like speakeasy.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Like what are you talking about?
- 1:37Speaker 2: What he's talking about? So I started looking around. Oh,
- 1:40Speaker 2: there's like this little hallway that's kind of weird, and
- 1:43Speaker 2: there was a secret door in there.
- 1:44Speaker 1: There was another room. Yeah, yeah, it was crazy. That's awesome.
- 1:47Speaker 1: So anyway, Menace had this on his wish list, and
- 1:52Speaker 1: then I got word that the Poms not only were
- 1:55Speaker 1: they willing to let him see the place, right, they're like,
- 1:57Speaker 1: oh you can stay there, damn not for one night,
- 2:00Speaker 1: for two nights.
- 2:01Speaker 3: So nice.
- 2:02Speaker 1: What does that thing to even go for?
- 2:04Speaker 2: I mean it varies like every hotel, Yeah, like on
- 2:07Speaker 2: the average, because.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I can't even imagine rumors of.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Twenty five thousand night. Yeah yeah, but it's ten thousand
- 2:15Speaker 2: square feet.
- 2:16Speaker 1: It's huge. It looks super cool.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Big one thing I've ever stayed in in my life.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I mean, not that not that it makes it a matter,
- 2:22Speaker 1: but like if you had what five bedrooms, Yeah, I sleeps.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Yeah, it has five beds on the basketball court.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like five couples or whatever. You know what
- 2:32Speaker 1: I mean. Everybody kind of goes in on it, just
- 2:34Speaker 1: experience of it. This is just like one of those
- 2:37Speaker 1: still expensive but yeah, the type of sweets that they have, Yeah,
- 2:40Speaker 1: but that's just what that stuff costs.
- 2:42Speaker 2: They had a bar in the center that you know,
- 2:45Speaker 2: seats twelve people and like different the living room, and
- 2:49Speaker 2: I mean the place could probably fit hundreds of people.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Oh yeah yeah yeah, so you're hosting a party.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Yeah, if you want to see it, it's on our
- 2:56Speaker 2: Instagram at the Wood's show on Instagram. I did a
- 2:58Speaker 2: little tour in the just alone on Instagram, which is edited.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Takes three and a half minutes to go there.
- 3:04Speaker 1: It is so big. Yeah.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Somebody lucked out though, because they were in town at
- 3:08Speaker 2: the same time, and that was Sammy. So Sammy came,
- 3:11Speaker 2: Oh yeah yeah.
- 3:13Speaker 5: Oh we had so much fun. It was so cool.
- 3:16Speaker 2: And then Sammy's family lives nearby I was like, dude,
- 3:18Speaker 2: tell all your family stop on by.
- 3:24Speaker 6: I was watching the show Wood he called The Reluctant
- 3:27Speaker 6: Traveler with Eugene Levy on It's on Apple TV. It's
- 3:30Speaker 6: really good. He just travels around the world and does
- 3:32Speaker 6: different things. And he was in Canada hanging out with
- 3:35Speaker 6: that singer Michael Boublay. And they end the episode by
- 3:38Speaker 6: going to Michael Boubla's house and they are cooking in
- 3:41Speaker 6: the kitchen and just hanging out, and then Michael says, hey,
- 3:45Speaker 6: I want you to see something, and they go downstairs
- 3:47Speaker 6: and you think they're walking into his basement. It's a
- 3:51Speaker 6: hockey rink in his house. Maybe think of the Hardwood suite.
- 3:57Speaker 6: My son would love that actual ice.
- 4:00Speaker 1: It was wow crazy they have that.
- 4:02Speaker 2: They have the Kingpin Suite, which is a bowling alley.
- 4:06Speaker 5: There's a bowling alley in there too.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Well yeah, and then they have the studio, see where
- 4:12Speaker 2: they have a recording studio, the Cinema Suite.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Which is a movie theater.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Dude, Palms has a whole movie theater there too.
- 4:20Speaker 1: On site. You can cool.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Yeah, So during the day, like sometimes you're like, what
- 4:24Speaker 2: am I gonna do during the day?
- 4:25Speaker 1: In Vegas.
- 4:26Speaker 2: You can just go watch a movie. There also so
- 4:29Speaker 2: many cool restaurants.
- 4:30Speaker 1: What birthday month? Yeah, Mega, it was so cool. Crazy.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I think the only gears I have is I broke
- 4:38Speaker 2: my belt and I'm wearing a broke your belt.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm wearing a shoelace. Now, I would have
- 4:45Speaker 1: thought that would have happened before you started losing weight.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I know this is the whole like tour because
- 4:50Speaker 2: I had to make a new hole because it got smaller,
- 4:54Speaker 2: but it tore, and.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Now you know, now I need a new belt.
- 4:58Speaker 5: And you only have one.
- 5:00Speaker 2: I thought I had boar belts, to be honest, but
- 5:02Speaker 2: I don't know where they are. I look for them.
- 5:04Speaker 2: So not have a shoelace today, Morgan, what about you?
- 5:07Speaker 1: Weekend cheers and.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Jeers some mine's kind of laying. Y'all can make fun
- 5:10Speaker 5: of me. I don't care. But cheers to creatine if
- 5:13Speaker 5: you know what that is. There's such a dude monohydrate.
- 5:16Speaker 5: I've been taking it for almost two months now.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I've heard. I know it's like you know, proteins, creatines,
- 5:23Speaker 1: things that you get like at those like uh like
- 5:28Speaker 1: superstore kind of things.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Yeah, Steve, I should walk in he would describe it
- 5:30Speaker 3: better than me. But it's just this powder that I
- 5:32Speaker 3: mix some water and it's five grams of creatine monohydrate.
- 5:36Speaker 3: So it does what help your muscles, like get water
- 5:38Speaker 3: to your muscles, help you recover. There's probably way more
- 5:41Speaker 3: things acids. Yeah, a friend and then my coach was like, yeah,
- 5:45Speaker 3: you should do it. So I've been on it like
- 5:46Speaker 3: almost two months, and man.
- 5:47Speaker 5: I noticed a different I feel so strong.
- 5:50Speaker 1: And yeah, shout out to.
- 5:54Speaker 3: But I mean even ladies don't be scared to take it.
- 5:56Speaker 3: I've heard it's even better for girls.
- 5:58Speaker 6: Take you hot because I know somebody that would take
- 6:00Speaker 6: that before working out and they would get physically hot.
- 6:04Speaker 5: Well that's pre workout, and I do take that too.
- 6:06Speaker 4: Is that like nyasin they talk about the nice and flush.
- 6:09Speaker 3: It's some kind of like oxide something. I don't know
- 6:12Speaker 3: the signs of it.
- 6:14Speaker 5: But you talk about make fund of me all you want,
- 6:17Speaker 5: but creatine rocks. I'm so insane.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Good for you.
- 6:19Speaker 3: My Jeers goes to Obviously it was a big party
- 6:22Speaker 3: weekend with Halloween and all that. Jeers and I have
- 6:25Speaker 3: one friend that's like this, and it bothers the crap
- 6:27Speaker 3: out of me. These streamers, Right, So all they do
- 6:30Speaker 3: is they go to parties. Menis you see it all
- 6:32Speaker 3: the time, I'm sure. But they hire a guy to
- 6:34Speaker 3: follow them with the camera all night long and then
- 6:37Speaker 3: they record everything and they're streaming it for you know,
- 6:40Speaker 3: could be five people, it could be hundreds of people.
- 6:42Speaker 3: And then they just have like the fakest conversations ever.
- 6:45Speaker 3: So like these parties these days, like Halloween, it's just
- 6:48Speaker 3: a bunch of streamers walking around. Well, camera's following them.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Also they'll hire security and then so they'll act like
- 6:54Speaker 2: a holes and then security will jump in and.
- 6:57Speaker 5: They don't need security, like there's no micro.
- 7:00Speaker 2: But I mean, what do you remember this. We're staying
- 7:02Speaker 2: at a hotel and there was a streaming convention happening nearby.
- 7:05Speaker 2: We were at the restaurant and all the guys they
- 7:08Speaker 2: had like cameras yea, like set up at the table
- 7:11Speaker 2: and there was a very quiet, like hotel lobby bar
- 7:14Speaker 2: kind of area and we were just having a couple
- 7:15Speaker 2: of drinks there and around the entire place.
- 7:19Speaker 1: They each had their own setup with their ring lights
- 7:21Speaker 1: and the whole thing. And they're sitting there eating a
- 7:24Speaker 1: meal and having a conversation with I guess they were
- 7:26Speaker 1: doing like a live stream and people asking questions. I'm like,
- 7:29Speaker 1: this is your job.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Yeah, but some people that are interesting, but most people
- 7:34Speaker 3: it's mad boring.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Right, that's and that's the thing I've noticed where everybody,
- 7:39Speaker 1: and I'm not going to out the name here, everybody
- 7:42Speaker 1: wants to be way more important than they are, right,
- 7:45Speaker 1: So it's all fake. Even though something's supposed to be
- 7:47Speaker 1: like reality, like a look into someone's life, it's all fake. Like,
- 7:50Speaker 1: no one's following you around with a camera unless you
- 7:52Speaker 1: paid them to. It's not like the paparazzi who are
- 7:55Speaker 1: looking out for famous people and you have to be
- 7:57Speaker 1: captured this place, like, no, it's you, you hired. Anybody
- 8:00Speaker 1: could do that. You're gonna have somebody just follow them around.
- 8:03Speaker 1: You're not that cool, you're not that interesting, you're not
- 8:05Speaker 1: that important. But this is uh, all these candid shots.
- 8:10Speaker 1: This is what this one radio guy did, and again
- 8:12Speaker 1: I'm not gonna mention names, but he was posting a
- 8:16Speaker 1: photo of him asleep on a plane, right, So he's
- 8:19Speaker 1: leaned up against the window and it was just him sleeping.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Somebody noticed because he didn't do a very good job
- 8:27Speaker 1: editing you could see like where he was, like he
- 8:30Speaker 1: had his arm out, and he's the one that took
- 8:32Speaker 1: the picture of sleeping, so nobody, nobody like just oh
- 8:39Speaker 1: look he's sleeping and he took a picture because he's
- 8:41Speaker 1: he's working so hard and he's globe trotting to all
- 8:43Speaker 1: these different events, like he did it himself, and he
- 8:47Speaker 1: got destroyed online and looked like such a dude. I'll
- 8:52Speaker 1: just let you know.
- 8:52Speaker 2: It's not me, but I might have done.
- 8:54Speaker 1: No, it's it's it's nobody. It's nobody in this room.
- 8:58Speaker 1: It's nobody in this room. It's a it's another it's
- 9:00Speaker 1: another big radio personality. But dude, even still, nobody is
- 9:05Speaker 1: like taking pictures of you sleeping on the plane, and
- 9:09Speaker 1: then they posted it and they got busted because oh look,
- 9:11Speaker 1: he's got his own arm sticking out, taking his own
- 9:14Speaker 1: picture of him sleeping and you and.
- 9:16Speaker 4: You know it's not real, because if you ever actually
- 9:18Speaker 4: sleep on a plane, or if I sleep on a plane,
- 9:20Speaker 4: it is so ugly. It's me with Myra.
- 9:22Speaker 1: You've seen it.
- 9:23Speaker 2: You've taken pictures of a Wait, is this the same
- 9:26Speaker 2: person also hired security?
- 9:28Speaker 1: Yes?
- 9:29Speaker 3: Oh wow, see it kind of makes sense, you know,
- 9:34Speaker 3: she's gonna do. But yeah, stop hiring cameraman to follow
- 9:37Speaker 3: you around if you're a nobody.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Regret weekend cheers and jeers.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Halloween was great and you know, had a great time
- 9:45Speaker 4: walking around with the kids and the new neighborhood. But
- 9:47Speaker 4: that's not my cheers. My cheers was the kid was
- 9:50Speaker 4: actually gone for like four or five hours on Saturday.
- 9:53Speaker 4: So my husband and I had like kind of a date,
- 9:55Speaker 4: like we're going to get in the hot tub, got
- 9:58Speaker 4: it on in the hot tub. Yeah, christ the hot tub.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Thank you felt good about that?
- 10:09Speaker 1: How did that work out? Because typically like pools, hot
- 10:11Speaker 1: tub showers, that always seems like a more romantic idea
- 10:14Speaker 1: that ends up being for the.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Well, here's the thing, it's more it ends up being
- 10:20Speaker 4: more like hand and mouth party than you know, because
- 10:23Speaker 4: you don't want to like that the hot tub.
- 10:25Speaker 5: You have enough roomy shower you're kind of school or you.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Can like sit on the stair whatever. Yeah, so I
- 10:30Speaker 4: feel like the house has lived in now. Yeah, it
- 10:35Speaker 4: was super fun.
- 10:36Speaker 6: Have you done the kitchen yet, no?
- 10:41Speaker 4: Or like up against the because we have like a
- 10:45Speaker 4: breakfast nook bench. All right, I'll let you know. Jeers
- 10:50Speaker 4: old bitches at parks. Why are they also angry because
- 10:54Speaker 4: they're old? Yeah, it's always old ladies. I was walking
- 10:58Speaker 4: to the kid's flag football and this little poodle was
- 11:01Speaker 4: like following me, and it had a little tennis ball
- 11:03Speaker 4: in his mouth and kept like dropping it next to me,
- 11:05Speaker 4: and like, oh, cute, okay. So I picked up the
- 11:08Speaker 4: ball and I was about to throw it, and I
- 11:11Speaker 4: hear from behind.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Me, give my dog back his ball.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Damn bitch, what what's wrong with you? So I gave
- 11:21Speaker 4: it back and I walked away like I'm stealing a
- 11:23Speaker 4: ball from a dog, like I'm going to keep it.
- 11:25Speaker 4: What's wrong with these old bets?
- 11:27Speaker 5: She was just lett her dog run around. Yes see,
- 11:29Speaker 5: I don't like that.
- 11:30Speaker 4: It was very straight.
- 11:31Speaker 5: How old was she?
- 11:32Speaker 7: I have some older ladies in my neighborhood who can't
- 11:34Speaker 7: see very well, so there's a chance she really couldn't
- 11:36Speaker 7: see what was going on.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I was a burglar, So by all means, know that
- 11:40Speaker 1: about yourself and just start yelling at people, thinking like, oh,
- 11:43Speaker 1: you know what, maybe I can't see very well. I
- 11:45Speaker 1: should just probably assume the worst.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm going to accuse everyone of dog napping.
- 11:49Speaker 1: It would give your right to be a bit.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't like her, but otherwise, great weekend.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Yeah, well talk so I hope everybody had a great weekend.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Hit us up on the text over to two two
- 11:57Speaker 1: nine eighty seven. No, it was not Ryan's secret. Somebody
- 12:00Speaker 1: on the text of it was probably Ryan Seacrest. It
- 12:02Speaker 1: was not. And by the way, shout out to Ryan Seacrest.
- 12:06Speaker 1: His dad just passed away last week and he and
- 12:09Speaker 1: his dad were very close. I sent him a text
- 12:11Speaker 1: over the weekend. And Ryan is one of the good guys.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Ryan Seacrest is one of the nicest people. Has always
- 12:19Speaker 1: been super friendly and outgoing to me from even like
- 12:24Speaker 1: my first couple of days here. And you know, just
- 12:28Speaker 1: he doesn't have to be you know, he's reached that
- 12:30Speaker 1: point where if he was a prick, people would somewhat
- 12:34Speaker 1: excuse it. Yeah, for sure, just because oh he's so busy.
- 12:36Speaker 1: He's got a thousand jobs. Oh man, he never sleeps,
- 12:40Speaker 1: and he does sleep, by the way. He's got a
- 12:42Speaker 1: really he's got a really interesting schedule. He has to
- 12:44Speaker 1: figure it out, but he's got it, really, and he's
- 12:46Speaker 1: got one hundred thousand people working with him that that
- 12:49Speaker 1: figured out. But dude, Ryan's a guy. He's super passionate
- 12:51Speaker 1: about radio. Radio's his first love. We bonded over that.
- 12:54Speaker 1: We talked about like kind of you know, coming up
- 12:57Speaker 1: in radio and our stories, and that was like very
- 12:59Speaker 1: early on. He's been the same guy since the day
- 13:02Speaker 1: I met him until he is right now. And you know,
- 13:05Speaker 1: he's just a really good dude. And so our thoughts
- 13:08Speaker 1: are with Ryan and over the loss of his dad.
- 13:11Speaker 1: So and it's not Ryan. He didn't take the picture
- 13:14Speaker 1: of himself on a plane. You would never see Ryan
- 13:15Speaker 1: on a plane because he flies private. So there you go.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Sciences have officially gone back in time with one million
- 13:24Speaker 2: from the second And if you want an idea.
- 13:27Speaker 1: How long that is that amount of time anybody.
- 13:30Speaker 2: In this company listens to this show.
- 13:36Speaker 1: And we are into another new hour insensitivity Training for
- 13:40Speaker 1: a politically correct world. Woody greg enis Junia grad. We
- 13:44Speaker 1: can see back ye, Sammy's here, Morgan's here. Phones are
- 13:48Speaker 1: open eight seven, seven forty four, Wooding, send us a
- 13:52Speaker 1: text over to two two nine eight seven Weekend Cheers
- 13:56Speaker 1: and jeers, cheer to the Max back to the Future rule. Yeah,
- 14:03Speaker 1: it was it was great. It's my favorite movie of
- 14:05Speaker 1: all times. Been a long time since I've been to
- 14:07Speaker 1: a movie theater to see a movie. But it got
- 14:10Speaker 1: me out, it got me on. There was a lot
- 14:11Speaker 1: of people there. Although, man, the dorks that applauded every
- 14:15Speaker 1: little stupid thing they know, and they tried so hard
- 14:21Speaker 1: to sell me one of these limited edition popcorn a Dolaorean. Yeah.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Sweet.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Even my wife was trying to talk to me, and
- 14:29Speaker 1: so I'm like, what am I gonna do with this? Then,
- 14:30Speaker 1: let's your wife loves starting money on garbage. Well, I'm
- 14:32Speaker 1: just saying, like, you know, I man, the movie theaters
- 14:35Speaker 1: really figured out like people will pay because everybody in
- 14:39Speaker 1: line in front of me, they all got this DeLorean
- 14:42Speaker 1: with like three kernels of popcorn and.
- 14:44Speaker 8: Okay, what's the price. I'm gonna guess nine dollars. It
- 14:47Speaker 8: was like fifty bucks.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Fifty it's a buck. Yeah. No, I'm not a media
- 14:53Speaker 1: They're they're insane. They're insane. And then my gear is people, oh,
- 14:59Speaker 1: in general, just just in general. And I know a
- 15:01Speaker 1: lot of people, and I will say this, I know
- 15:03Speaker 1: a lot of people are on edge for many different reasons.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Right now, you start getting to the end of the year,
- 15:10Speaker 1: for whatever reason, this time of the year, there seems
- 15:12Speaker 1: to be a mad scramble. You know, people get anxious
- 15:15Speaker 1: about the holidays, and you know, money's tight for a
- 15:18Speaker 1: lot of people, and people are on edge about politics
- 15:22Speaker 1: or there are sports teams not doing what they wanted
- 15:25Speaker 1: to do, or like for whatever reason, family stuff's going on.
- 15:29Speaker 1: But I've just noticed like over the top people are
- 15:32Speaker 1: the most nitpicky about and just like over the topic.
- 15:37Speaker 1: It's disproportionate the amount of anger to what they're angry about,
- 15:42Speaker 1: oh like overreaction. Yeah, yeah, And I see it, whether
- 15:45Speaker 1: it's stuff here with the show, you know, like man
- 15:49Speaker 1: like and you guys see it like people that text
- 15:52Speaker 1: in or things on on social media, and not that
- 15:56Speaker 1: that's just with our show, but just in everything. It's
- 15:59Speaker 1: that in it's when you see things about uh, you know,
- 16:03Speaker 1: even nice things that people post on social media, people
- 16:06Speaker 1: are rotten. And I kind of chalk it up to
- 16:09Speaker 1: everybody seems to be really on edge. And then the
- 16:12Speaker 1: other thing that everybody can stop doing is stop they
- 16:16Speaker 1: can stop narking things out to me, you know about
- 16:21Speaker 1: like something that maybe they've seen, you know, like we're
- 16:24Speaker 1: you know, I don't like people people talk smack about
- 16:28Speaker 1: me or the show or any other person on the
- 16:31Speaker 1: show all the time since my first day in radio,
- 16:35Speaker 1: that has happened. I don't care if if if I
- 16:39Speaker 1: decided to engage, I would have engaged or I would have,
- 16:43Speaker 1: you know, read up on some of that stuff. But
- 16:46Speaker 1: did you did you see this? Did you see it?
- 16:49Speaker 4: So?
- 16:50Speaker 1: And and that's also part of it. I think there
- 16:51Speaker 1: are a lot of people and and for the sake
- 16:54Speaker 1: of the show. I enjoy ball breaking and talking smack
- 16:57Speaker 1: and firing people up for the sake of entertainment. But
- 17:00Speaker 1: it seems like there's a lot of schadenfreud.
- 17:05Speaker 6: So people YouTube comments about the show. But that what
- 17:09Speaker 6: you're saying is people don't have to knark other people
- 17:12Speaker 6: out to you about the show about just like people as.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Pretty much about I mean, really it's about the show
- 17:19Speaker 1: or just about anything. Like if I cared to read
- 17:21Speaker 1: into whatever it was, I would have read into it
- 17:23Speaker 1: or I would have responded to somebody. None of that
- 17:26Speaker 1: stuff is y is new? It just but I think
- 17:29Speaker 1: that's a newer thing.
- 17:31Speaker 4: I'll always call that the I just thought you should.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Know, right, yeah, yeah, and it just uh that never
- 17:38Speaker 1: really that never really happened much until I would say,
- 17:41Speaker 1: like probably like the last five years, but it's gotten
- 17:45Speaker 1: more and more now where just in case you didn't
- 17:48Speaker 1: see it, people want to make sure that you've seen
- 17:50Speaker 1: whatever it is.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Yeah, they call it the rats trying to get their cheese.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Yeah, like I'm trying to think of a really good example,
- 18:00Speaker 1: but like you know, like a troll doesn't get the
- 18:04Speaker 1: attention or reaction they want, they go about other ways
- 18:08Speaker 1: to make sure that the trolling was at least seen
- 18:12Speaker 1: done in vain.
- 18:15Speaker 8: And so okay, it's the whole point behind like any
- 18:16Speaker 8: kind of boycott these days, are tagging a sponsor, it
- 18:19Speaker 8: is like, well, I didn't like this thing about this thing,
- 18:21Speaker 8: so I'm gonna make sure.
- 18:22Speaker 1: That everyone knows and hopefully all they'll lose their job,
- 18:24Speaker 1: right you know, yeah it never heard they don't care.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Just in just so just in general people, Yeah, you know,
- 18:29Speaker 1: and and and I and I do chalk it up
- 18:32Speaker 1: to there's so many people that are super Everybody just
- 18:35Speaker 1: seems super on edge and super stressed out. And I
- 18:37Speaker 1: I do understand it. It's weird. As I've gotten older,
- 18:40Speaker 1: I do have more and more empathy, so I can
- 18:42Speaker 1: at least see that and understand it. But it doesn't
- 18:45Speaker 1: make it any better. It's certainly not making it a
- 18:47Speaker 1: better place, a better world, quality of life. Yeah, I
- 18:52Speaker 1: got to join her. Did you see this? Somebody called
- 18:54Speaker 1: you fat? Like all right and did you make this? Yeah?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Weekend cheers and jeers Sammy My cheers.
- 19:07Speaker 7: Is obviously to the hardwood suite in Vegas that I
- 19:09Speaker 7: leaped out on being able to go shoot because of Menace.
- 19:12Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 19:13Speaker 1: It was amazing.
- 19:15Speaker 7: And uh and got to stay there. I mean I
- 19:17Speaker 7: had a hotel somewhere else and then just never.
- 19:20Speaker 5: Never did anything.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I thought you weren't allowed.
- 19:23Speaker 5: No, we were for.
- 19:25Speaker 1: The weekend there. They gave him two nights photo that's
- 19:31Speaker 1: that's what he asked for. And then they came through
- 19:33Speaker 1: and they said, oh no, not like can you stay here.
- 19:34Speaker 1: You can stay here for two nights. That sounds like
- 19:36Speaker 1: an amazing company.
- 19:37Speaker 7: It was because and thank you Menace for being so
- 19:40Speaker 7: generous and inviting us to come. It was so much fun,
- 19:43Speaker 7: so cool, and we had a drink. Every time we
- 19:46Speaker 7: opened a new drink, we went to a different room,
- 19:47Speaker 7: which is really cool because NK champagne in the locker room.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah, some menace. I meant to ask you so
- 19:55Speaker 1: there was like this bar in the room. Did they
- 19:57Speaker 1: have it stocked and was it like you had to
- 20:00Speaker 1: pay extra for that or is it because they come
- 20:03Speaker 1: with the room.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Like all the little weights that I don't know. I
- 20:07Speaker 2: know it had prices on some of the stuff, so
- 20:09Speaker 2: I didn't drink it.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Okay, he's why you had that room because that room
- 20:13Speaker 1: is a premium room obviously, so maybe they did.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Sure, if you are like a guest that wasn't, you know,
- 20:20Speaker 2: brought there to do social media about it, then you probably.
- 20:23Speaker 1: You probably don't have to.
- 20:25Speaker 5: But there was a lot.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Yeah, it was huge at Menace on Instagram. Yeah.
- 20:30Speaker 2: No, at the Woodyshell on Instagram you can see a
- 20:32Speaker 2: whole tour Marino though. No Sammy posted I did.
- 20:35Speaker 7: I put Yeah, I posted to my stories and stuff
- 20:37Speaker 7: and yeah, because we saw Atlantis and it was the
- 20:40Speaker 7: best what a night I know, alanis Morisa in Vegas.
- 20:43Speaker 5: It was so cool.
- 20:44Speaker 4: I looked like you had good seats too.
- 20:46Speaker 7: Uh yes, thanks, thank you Menace. Wow, I bought I
- 20:55Speaker 7: bought tickets, but I had seats somewhere and then ended.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Up down and like we can't have you up there.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Things.
- 21:00Speaker 7: Thanks to the help of Mensinachot.
- 21:03Speaker 6: Another room.
- 21:06Speaker 1: We stayed upstairs in this week.
- 21:09Speaker 7: Oh yeah, and but my jeers is the posting of
- 21:14Speaker 7: social media that was me singing along to sing when
- 21:19Speaker 7: I was drinking, and then I also like did the
- 21:23Speaker 7: collab and whatever, and I was. I woke up in
- 21:25Speaker 7: the morning and I was like, oh no, I hate
- 21:27Speaker 7: it when that happens when you're drinking and then something
- 21:29Speaker 7: it's posted with you singing at a concert and you
- 21:31Speaker 7: see it in.
- 21:31Speaker 4: The morning and you're like, oh, I shouldn't have done.
- 21:33Speaker 5: That, posted that you posted exactly.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I recorded her singing along with I don't think it
- 21:39Speaker 1: was singing in general that she's a terrible singer. She speaks,
- 21:45Speaker 1: she speak sing. What we talked about with you know,
- 21:50Speaker 1: show Friddy Ochi and very monetary a tone test with her,
- 21:53Speaker 1: just like play a scene.
- 21:54Speaker 2: At already know if you want to see the video
- 21:58Speaker 2: at the show on Instagram of Sammy.
- 22:01Speaker 1: But I didn't think it was bad at all. Weekend
- 22:04Speaker 1: cheers and jeers cheers to a great container.
- 22:07Speaker 8: I know this is something we've talked about as adults,
- 22:09Speaker 8: like things adults get irrationally happy about, like oh, what
- 22:12Speaker 8: a great.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Box, you know what I mean? And great to go
- 22:17Speaker 1: container that waffle House has. It's first off plastic, not
- 22:20Speaker 1: some stupid hippie you know, newspaper garbage. But you've never
- 22:24Speaker 1: seen those containers before.
- 22:25Speaker 4: I haven't Hadny's.
- 22:26Speaker 1: But with waffle House, I usually go to sit down.
- 22:27Speaker 8: I usually don't get the to go and I just
- 22:29Speaker 8: when I was in Atlanta, I grabbed one to go
- 22:31Speaker 8: and it's just it's it's large, it's circular, very sheer.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Okay, I was like, I got two of them. Wow, wow,
- 22:44Speaker 1: very surprising. And you rip on other people being old.
- 22:46Speaker 8: Yeah, but again if it does get you know, broken
- 22:50Speaker 8: or whatever, dirty or well, wow, everyone should do waffle House.
- 22:56Speaker 1: That's great.
- 22:59Speaker 5: Thinking about that would have been my cheer.
- 23:01Speaker 7: What Seabass's responsor would have been to me?
- 23:05Speaker 4: Sad bachelor cheers.
- 23:08Speaker 8: Jeers, however, probably first and only jeers to Elon Musk.
- 23:13Speaker 8: The self driving like eye aware system on the cyber
- 23:16Speaker 8: truck is too strict, folks who don't know, and full
- 23:19Speaker 8: self driving on a cyber truck pretty bad ass, right,
- 23:21Speaker 8: press a little button and goes dan and you fly away.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Or any tesla, but go ahead and not unique to
- 23:26Speaker 1: the cyber truck, but go ahead.
- 23:27Speaker 8: You and you take your eyes off the road for
- 23:31Speaker 8: a millisecond and its boom bong bong alert alert, keep
- 23:34Speaker 8: eyes on road safety.
- 23:36Speaker 1: No, I don't.
- 23:36Speaker 8: It's too Safe's because they keep getting too sued. Yeah
- 23:42Speaker 8: you know, Elon, you didn't get here by being by
- 23:45Speaker 8: playing it safe, by being.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Abundant a caution person.
- 23:50Speaker 8: Give me like a half of a couple of seconds
- 23:52Speaker 8: to go text check, do some text messages, grab a drink,
- 23:56Speaker 8: so one.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Snooze a little bit.
- 23:58Speaker 8: That's who you will need to do what they're driving.
- 24:00Speaker 8: I'm not trying a chance to do what they needither.
- 24:02Speaker 8: I'm not driving the cars driving, and it does a
- 24:03Speaker 8: great job of driving. And it's it's I wouldn't you
- 24:06Speaker 8: can plain if it was like a little bit like, oh,
- 24:07Speaker 8: you haven't looked at the road in a minute, But no,
- 24:09Speaker 8: it's a millisecond these days week So yeah, exactly, Elon,
- 24:12Speaker 8: Let's let's all that back a little bit on the
- 24:14Speaker 8: self driving.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Great gory weekend. Cheers and jeer.
- 24:17Speaker 6: Cheers to a perfect and romantic and wonderful and delicious
- 24:21Speaker 6: anniversary weekend fourteen years went to a restaurant that has
- 24:26Speaker 6: a Michelin star.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Yeah it was. It was good.
- 24:31Speaker 6: It was so good.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I feel people was great. What did you order?
- 24:35Speaker 6: It was very eclectic sou Vietnamese wings, some roasted Brussels
- 24:40Speaker 6: sprouts and a chicken bow which is like a sandwich
- 24:44Speaker 6: basically like on a pillow. And the crispiness that you
- 24:47Speaker 6: can't even imagine bottle of line. The service was incredible
- 24:51Speaker 6: and it wasn't hoity toity. It was like kind of
- 24:54Speaker 6: casual looking, but it was very upscale casual.
- 24:58Speaker 4: But because it was Michelin was the poor in size,
- 25:00Speaker 4: microscopic it was.
- 25:03Speaker 5: I always do that.
- 25:04Speaker 1: So I have some that they're really big into restaurants
- 25:08Speaker 1: and food. They would call themselves foodies. Yeah, and uh,
- 25:11Speaker 1: you know, my wife and I will go meet them
- 25:13Speaker 1: and we always have to ask what's the restaurant, And
- 25:16Speaker 1: as soon as they say Michelin Star, I go, no,
- 25:17Speaker 1: thank you, because typically it's going to be super small
- 25:20Speaker 1: portions stuff. I'm not interested in eating a flower yeah,
- 25:25Speaker 1: and and so it's always like it sounds like it
- 25:28Speaker 1: would be really good. It was fantastic, you know, I
- 25:31Speaker 1: don't The portions were small, which was kind of annoying,
- 25:34Speaker 1: but it was so worth it. And the thing I
- 25:36Speaker 1: loved the most about it was taking a bite of
- 25:39Speaker 1: something and not discerning what it was. You could have
- 25:41Speaker 1: a chicken sandwich and no exactly about what is that flavor,
- 25:44Speaker 1: Like when you can't really pinpoint what you're tasting. It
- 25:48Speaker 1: was exciting, like those kind of places are perfect for
- 25:51Speaker 1: something like that. He'll eat anything, you know, he wants
- 25:55Speaker 1: to be quote surprised. I'm not looking to be surprised.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I want like comfort type of stuff. Ni portion, This
- 26:04Speaker 1: was great juicy steaks. And then my jeers is to
- 26:07Speaker 1: my very own, very ugly jealousy. I grew up in
- 26:11Speaker 1: the wrong era. I saw nine billion kids on e
- 26:14Speaker 1: bikes and I thought, damn it living my childhood dream.
- 26:19Speaker 1: If I had an e bike as a kid, I'd
- 26:20Speaker 1: be the happiest person ever born. And I'm too old
- 26:24Speaker 1: for it now, and I'm so jealous bikes. I have
- 26:27Speaker 1: to get one, but I also don't want to be
- 26:30Speaker 1: that old dors.
- 26:32Speaker 5: But you got to live that childhood dream inside of
- 26:34Speaker 5: you so you.
- 26:34Speaker 4: Can finally Look, it's too late, said Simonel, turfed out
- 26:40Speaker 4: so hard if you get his own driveway?
- 26:43Speaker 1: Is the thing you like about bikes?
- 26:44Speaker 6: They go so fast, they go fast, they're doing wheelies,
- 26:47Speaker 6: I saw ones that have two seaters, Like it's not
- 26:50Speaker 6: a tandem bike by any means, but you got the
- 26:52Speaker 6: main seat and then a seat behind it. And the
- 26:54Speaker 6: tons of people with you know, double riding. Oh man,
- 26:58Speaker 6: And they had this one section of the street closed
- 27:00Speaker 6: down and everybody's doing their e bikes on it.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Why didn't I grow up? Now you're come all the
- 27:04Speaker 1: nurses texting and about all the injuries. You can get
- 27:07Speaker 1: any bike I can. That's better than the scooter. Idea
- 27:10Speaker 1: way better. You'd start to get a helmet, way better.
- 27:13Speaker 6: Yeah, I saw no helmets.
- 27:15Speaker 5: Did you see any crashes? No, Well, there you go.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Dude. Simon got in that big bike accident.
- 27:21Speaker 1: He looks great. Yeah, we'll hope you out a great weekend.
- 27:28Speaker 1: You can hit us up on the text over to
- 27:29Speaker 1: two two nine eight seven The Woody Show. We'll be
- 27:34Speaker 1: right back.
