September 22nd
Rock, alternative music, hard rock and classical crossover all meet in today’s episode of The Music Dial, with stories connected to September 22.
We celebrate the birthdays of Joan Jett, Nick Cave, David Coverdale and Andrea Bocelli, revisit the very first Farm Aid concert in 1985, and remember Irving Berlin — the legendary songwriter behind classics such as White Christmas, Blue Skies and Puttin’ on the Ritz.
Another chapter of music history, all connected by one date.
