- 2:19Hello everybody and welcome back to the show.
- 2:22Welcome Back, today's topic is about cyber truck.
- 2:28The brand-new Tesla vehicle that was just launched and is all
- 2:34over the place. All over the news all over
- 2:38everything. Mainly because it looks crazy.
- 2:43Okay, so it's a post-apocalyptic looking crazy truck that I would
- 2:50be okay with driving. That's my first thoughts as my
- 2:54first impression. It's so crazy that it looks
- 2:58pretty cool. You know.
- 3:00It's not one of those things where you're like, that's crazy
- 3:03like it's actually ugly. It's actually really nice
- 3:07looking. That's my first thought of it.
- 3:10It doesn't look traditional and that's totally fine by me.
- 3:12Me. So, my first thought was my
- 3:16first reaction. When this thing was rolled out.
- 3:21Is what in the hell is going on? I wasn't sure.
- 3:29I had no idea what this thing was first.
- 3:32I thought it was a joke and then I got super happy because it
- 3:37wasn't in the reason why I guess super happy is because Tesla's
- 3:43doing things that nobody else is doing.
- 3:46You know, from the original Roadster, like who is going to
- 3:50build an electric super fast sports car?
- 3:54No one except Tesla. and then you fast forward to a couple
- 3:59days ago, cyber truck is launched it, who's gonna do a
- 4:04post-apocalyptic blade runner-esque truck, With the
- 4:11performance of a sports car. They can hold a lot of stuff in
- 4:17has an exoskeleton made out of ultra hard 30X stainless steel.
- 4:25And then it has armored glass to no one's going to do that.
- 4:29Test is going to do it. They can do it.
- 4:31Why wouldn't they do it? this might be a vanity item, you
- 4:36know, it might be one of those things where Rich and Powerful,
- 4:41the Rich and Famous Drive these things around because they're
- 4:44cool and different. They want to make a statement as
- 4:48totally fine. But for you and me.
- 4:53I'm not a truck person. I'm a, I have a Subaru, Outback.
- 4:59Like an older one and I love it. I think it's great.
- 5:03Eventually, a model 3 would be cool.
- 5:07But I looked at this thing, I looked at this truck.
- 5:10And I said, I would probably get that.
- 5:15So it's the the bottom version, the bottom.
- 5:20What is it? Single motor rear wheel drive
- 5:22version? is about the same price as The
- 5:30model 3 is 39,900 and then you go up to the dual motor.
- 5:35All-wheel drive for forty nine thousand, nine hundred, and then
- 5:39the tri-motor all-wheel drive for 70,000.
- 5:42So the base model is about the same price as a model 3.
- 5:45So I thought about that for a second.
- 5:48If I were to get this thing, what would I do with it?
- 5:54Single motor rear-wheel drive is probably the one I would get
- 5:58because it's more in my price range if I actually have that
- 6:00kind of price range if I have 40 Grand to spend on a vehicle.
- 6:05Would I save up for another 10,000?
- 6:07So I could get an extra 50 miles of range in an extra, you know
- 6:122,500 pounds of towing capacity and two more seconds to less S 0
- 6:20to 60. I don't know, I don't know, but
- 6:22the all-wheel drive would be really nice.
- 6:26There's also a self-driving package that you can get for
- 6:29seven thousand dollars more. So the price for that might
- 6:34increase in the future. So if you were to buy it today,
- 6:37you know, you pay the extra 7000 on it, so you can secure the
- 6:40seven thousand dollar price. So they can basically build out
- 6:43the models and stuff and the self-driving, you know, it it's
- 6:52It's not needed for me. So my thoughts about the Cyber
- 6:56truck? Are that it might be cool to
- 7:00have it. just to drive it around, you know, and if I
- 7:06needed to haul lumber which had probably never will in my entire
- 7:09life I could, you know, and I think that's why people get SUVs
- 7:14and white people get trucks. Like, well, if I ever need to
- 7:17haul something, I'll have the ability to I got a out back
- 7:23because I was like, well, if I ever need to throw a mountain
- 7:25bike in the back of this thing, I can and then I, you know, I
- 7:30did it, I threw a mountain bike in the back fit and I, you know,
- 7:33I used it for a lot of things, I towed some things with it and I
- 7:38also use it as a place to sleep when I was camping.
- 7:40And when I was traveling, it's not gonna throw a little
- 7:43mattress in there, asleep in the back of that in the Cyber truck.
- 7:48There's a bed in it, you could fit a any TV in there.
- 7:51You can fit Lumber not a lot of lumber it's not super long bed.
- 7:56But you can fit six people in here five or six people.
- 7:59I think, let me see here. Yeah, about five people 12.
- 8:04So driver's side, passenger side and 3 in the back that you can
- 8:07probably stuff somebody in the, you know, the far back in the
- 8:11bed if you want to go to be sneaky and like sneak into a old
- 8:14movie theater, a old Drive-In or something that you could do
- 8:17that. But also in the future, they're
- 8:19going to offer a solar panel for the back for the bed. so it
- 8:26could constantly charge as you're driving from the Sun, its
- 8:32equipped very well, the The tires are beautiful. 17 inch
- 8:39touchscreen, of course. They have a air compressor on
- 8:43board. So what's uses the suspension,
- 8:48by the way? The suspension are so the, the
- 8:51air compressor can do other things so it can use.
- 8:54You can use your tools with it, which I don't have.
- 8:57So I'm just a normal person telling you, what I think about
- 8:59this thing. I'm just like I go to the
- 9:02grocery store, you know, I drive to a place where I go running,
- 9:06which is kind of silly, but it's a cool place.
- 9:09I could just run. Just run out my front door.
- 9:12I just keep running like Forrest Gump.
- 9:15And then, you know, my life is pretty straightforward.
- 9:18I go to the places that I want to go to from A to B.
- 9:21I don't do a lot of like, crazy stuff.
- 9:25Where I would need a truck where I would need the Cyber truck but
- 9:31it's pretty freaking cool. so, when the opportunity comes up
- 9:37for me to buy a new vehicle, if I come in to forty thousand
- 9:41dollars anytime soon, It's going to be a toss-up for me.
- 9:46Cyber truck would be rad. That's the only way I can
- 9:49express it it it's gonna be rad but the range you know 250 miles
- 9:56for single motor. I'm not really feeling, 250
- 10:01miles. We don't have many charges
- 10:03around here. So the model 3, let's check that
- 10:06real quick because I know the model 3 322 mile range all wheel
- 10:12drive, so I get an extra bunch of miles out of it, right?
- 10:17So, the mileage is really one of those things I love to drive.
- 10:21I would get an extra. What?
- 10:2270 miles. Per charge.
- 10:26So that would be really nice. So for me, I'm kind of in
- 10:31between cyber truck is cool, can't fit a ton of stuff in the
- 10:35model 3. But it would be really cool to
- 10:40have either. And if you want to let me know
- 10:44what you think. I have a, I have a YouTube
- 10:48channel where this is going to be posted as well.
