- 0:12Speaker 1: Hello, Welcome to the Naughty but Nice. I'm your host,
- 0:16Speaker 1: Ram Shooter, and it is Wednesday, which means our dear friend,
- 0:21Speaker 1: A longtime friend. In fact, I think the original Naughty
- 0:25Speaker 1: but Nice. Donnie Meacham joins us.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Hey, Donny, are you there?
- 0:32Speaker 3: Hello? Lo, Yes, the old literally the oh gee? I mean?
- 0:38Speaker 3: Is it?
- 0:40Speaker 1: I bet it is. We're on season number four and
- 0:43Speaker 1: now I heart keeps renewing us. So thank you everybody
- 0:47Speaker 1: for listening. Let me take this moment. I don't thank
- 0:49Speaker 1: you enough. Naughty. I think I've known Delay the longer,
- 0:52Speaker 1: so delaynas my original friend. However, you're my first friend
- 0:57Speaker 1: in this world of radio podcasting. To be honest, you
- 1:00Speaker 1: were my first producer, Donnie, all those years ago when
- 1:03Speaker 1: we did the radio show together and you were lucky
- 1:06Speaker 1: enough to get assigned to the shoot A show. What
- 1:09Speaker 1: did you think when they told you you had to
- 1:11Speaker 1: work on my show?
- 1:12Speaker 3: Mm hmmm? Why was exactly?
- 1:13Speaker 4: I was like, Okay, I've seen this man before on
- 1:16Speaker 4: many occasions, so i'm e I.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Call that personality a fool, always vicious vicious. At first,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you were meant to be just pressing the buttons while
- 1:27Speaker 1: I spoke, but soon there was a microphone right in
- 1:30Speaker 1: front of your nose, and you were chirping away, chit chat,
- 1:34Speaker 1: chip chat, chit chat.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Good thing, I control the buttons and I turned around.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Honestly, make friends with the sound person and the lighting
- 1:44Speaker 1: person most important. If you ever do a TV show
- 1:48Speaker 1: or a radio show, I've seen people come in a
- 1:51Speaker 1: be nasty to the I was like to the sound people,
- 1:56Speaker 1: you will sound terrible. They'll mess up your mics. Even
- 2:00Speaker 1: seeing people be rude to hair and makeup people. Oh
- 2:03Speaker 1: that's a mistake.
- 2:04Speaker 2: They'll mess up your face.
- 2:06Speaker 4: Yes, No, be nice to those people because everyone thinks
- 2:10Speaker 4: that's like the host or control and the.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Set don't care.
- 2:12Speaker 4: No producer has They will get your car, right, they complain,
- 2:18Speaker 4: they're gonna get you.
- 2:19Speaker 3: That's right.
- 2:19Speaker 1: And the host is not going to rebook you. They're
- 2:21Speaker 1: too busy being the host being fabulous. It's the producer.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Be nice to the producer. A little tip in life there. Okay,
- 2:27Speaker 1: let's jump into the show. What time is it, my friends?
- 2:29Speaker 1: It is tea time. This is quite a big story.
- 2:33Speaker 1: That's really shocking to me. So j Loo's deal in
- 2:36Speaker 1: Las Vegas is in jeopardy after her recent album and
- 2:40Speaker 1: her concert tour flopped, so Jennifer was in talks with
- 2:44Speaker 1: a casino to get a block buster ninety million dollar residency.
- 2:50Speaker 1: That's a lot of money. It was going to be
- 2:51Speaker 1: a million dollars a show for ninety shows at the
- 2:56Speaker 1: MGM Grand. It's a massive venue, so that's a lot
- 2:59Speaker 1: of seats they can sell a massive casino. Jennifer wanted
- 3:03Speaker 1: this gig a million dollars a show. Well, now casino
- 3:07Speaker 1: executives have got a little bit skiddish following the terrible
- 3:11Speaker 1: sales of her upcoming tour and her album which just bombed.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I remember once Bet Middler, who sold millions and millions
- 3:19Speaker 1: of records, couldn't get a record deal. I don't think
- 3:21Speaker 1: Bett Middler has a record deal. And she said, you're
- 3:24Speaker 1: only as good as your last album. It doesn't matter
- 3:27Speaker 1: if you've got fifty million albums in the trunk. Your
- 3:31Speaker 1: last album, your last project is the one that you're
- 3:34Speaker 1: judged on that history. But what can you deliver today?
- 3:38Speaker 1: And so at the moment, Jennifer is not selling tickets,
- 3:43Speaker 1: she's not selling albums, So why would a casino give
- 3:48Speaker 1: her all this money? It's just business? What do you think?
- 3:54Speaker 4: Yeah, this is you have to think of grand scheme
- 3:57Speaker 4: of things.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Jalo is. You know, she's not old by any means,
- 4:02Speaker 3: but she's been around a lot.
- 4:04Speaker 4: And if you think about it, it's like, I think
- 4:07Speaker 4: Vegas is where she needs to go because Vegas is
- 4:10Speaker 4: an older person. It is international things, it's the kids,
- 4:14Speaker 4: it's not it is people going to see bury Man,
- 4:18Speaker 4: people going.
- 4:19Speaker 1: To see out of John Chair.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Yes, yes, I think. And the thing about Vegas too
- 4:24Speaker 4: is Jennifer has a problem bringing people to her m
- 4:28Speaker 4: and Jennifer's there. The people already go to this. Yes, yes,
- 4:32Speaker 4: so they would see her.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I think, yeah, I think you're right here. Plus, let's
- 4:36Speaker 1: remember and this is the little secret about Las Vegas.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I hope I'm not giving too much away. You're not
- 4:41Speaker 1: actually paid on how many tickets you sell. So if
- 4:45Speaker 1: you do the Garden Madison Square Garden, the money you
- 4:47Speaker 1: make as an artist, it's on ticket sales. You make
- 4:51Speaker 1: some money to on merchandising. The venue makes all the
- 4:53Speaker 1: money from the drinks, the diet cox, all the booze
- 4:56Speaker 1: hot dogs. The venue makes that money. But you make
- 4:58Speaker 1: merchandising and you get a big percentage of the ticket sales.
- 5:02Speaker 1: In Vegas it's a different rule. It's not how many
- 5:05Speaker 1: tickets you sell, it's how many people you bring in
- 5:08Speaker 1: the casino to gamble. And so a JLO crowd, an
- 5:12Speaker 1: older crowd, often makes an evening of it. After the concert.
- 5:16Speaker 1: They sit in the casino and they sit there for
- 5:19Speaker 1: hours on the slot machines, and that's where they make
- 5:22Speaker 1: the real money. Young audiences go to the show and
- 5:27Speaker 1: then they leave. They don't gamble afterwards. So Beyoncees fans
- 5:32Speaker 1: like young Miiley Cyrus fans, just In Bieber fans, they
- 5:36Speaker 1: go to see the show and then they go for dinner.
- 5:38Speaker 1: They don't go and sit in the casino for hours.
- 5:41Speaker 1: JLO has a fan base, older fan base, and when
- 5:45Speaker 1: I say older, i'm talking my age here. Who After
- 5:48Speaker 1: the show, Donnie, you and me would go to the
- 5:50Speaker 1: bar again, another drink, and then our judgment would be
- 5:52Speaker 1: even more sloppy, and they would sit at those tables
- 5:54Speaker 1: till two in the morning.
- 5:57Speaker 3: If one once put it, I would it's been.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I'd give it your all back.
- 6:03Speaker 1: That's why they give out a lot of free tickets
- 6:05Speaker 1: in Vegas too. The concert's not really the money maker,
- 6:09Speaker 1: it's not the profit center. It's almost the icing on
- 6:12Speaker 1: the cake. And they love it because during the show,
- 6:15Speaker 1: and the shows are short in Vegas because they want
- 6:17Speaker 1: you in and out of that of that venue, in
- 6:19Speaker 1: and out of that concert room, back in the casino.
- 6:22Speaker 1: And while you're there, what you do? You get a drink.
- 6:25Speaker 1: So we're sitting there, We're watching Celine Dion, We're watching
- 6:29Speaker 1: Share Donnie. We've had four drinks. Then what do we do?
- 6:33Speaker 1: We stagger out, We sit our bottoms down, ad a
- 6:35Speaker 1: slut machine at the next five hours and give our
- 6:38Speaker 1: money away. That's what Vegas is based on. So I
- 6:40Speaker 1: think this might be a mistaker. I think Jalo could
- 6:43Speaker 1: be a huge star in Vegas, Like Donnie, what do
- 6:45Speaker 1: you think? So Vegas are thinking reconsidering Jennifer's big deal
- 6:50Speaker 1: after her album and her recent tour did not sell
- 6:53Speaker 1: very well. Is this a big mistake? Will Jlo be
- 6:57Speaker 1: a star in Vegas? Will she sell tickets in Vegas? Hey,
- 7:00Speaker 1: we go vote on our Twitter page ad naughty nise
- 7:02Speaker 1: rob on a Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip and
- 7:05Speaker 1: is shuah to check back to my row to hear
- 7:09Speaker 1: your results. Hey, Donnie, what are you working on?
- 7:12Speaker 4: It was a very heartwarming story I mean heartwarming to
- 7:15Speaker 4: use that as a pun unintentionally.
- 7:17Speaker 3: So Jimmy Kimmel's.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Son, Billy, he was only seven years old, and Jimmy
- 7:21Speaker 4: came out and said he underwent his third open heart
- 7:25Speaker 4: surgery at the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles. Because our
- 7:29Speaker 4: boy Billy had his third of three, we hope open
- 7:33Speaker 4: our surgery.
- 7:33Speaker 3: We went into this experience with.
- 7:35Speaker 4: A lot of optimism and nearly as much fear and
- 7:38Speaker 4: came out with a new valve inside, a happy, healthy kid.
- 7:43Speaker 4: And what I think is really even more sweet is
- 7:45Speaker 4: like he was talking about walking around the hospital and
- 7:48Speaker 4: meeting the other parents of the kids who were also
- 7:52Speaker 4: at the hospital and just seeing how that is really
- 7:55Speaker 4: kind of a heartwarming experience for him made him feel good,
- 7:58Speaker 4: and meeting the workers who worked there. It's seven years old,
- 8:02Speaker 4: three open heart surgery, his kid is I mean, this
- 8:06Speaker 4: is strength there.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it's life change. And I spent an enormous amount
- 8:10Speaker 1: of time as a young kid in hospital with my
- 8:12Speaker 1: arm and it changed me forever. And Billy is being
- 8:18Speaker 1: so brave and having his mom and dad there really
- 8:22Speaker 1: does help. Having family there. My family couldn't be there
- 8:25Speaker 1: that much. They had to work. They had to pay
- 8:27Speaker 1: the bills, so I remember being really lonely in the hospital.
- 8:31Speaker 1: This is going to change him, and I think for
- 8:33Speaker 1: the better. I'm also told to it's changed his parents.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Jimmy is considering retiring from the show. He's done it
- 8:40Speaker 1: now for a decade. He's made more money than he'll
- 8:43Speaker 1: ever spend, and now instead of working full time, he
- 8:46Speaker 1: has the money where he can literally retire and spend
- 8:49Speaker 1: time with his family. There's nothing like an incident like
- 8:53Speaker 1: this to really shake your world, shake your priorities, shake
- 8:59Speaker 1: the decision about what you want to do with the
- 9:01Speaker 1: rest of your life. For sending you all. I love
- 9:05Speaker 1: Brave Billy. Okay, moving along, Cardi ber H she makes
- 9:09Speaker 1: me laugh. She has reacted to body shaming trolls who
- 9:13Speaker 1: called her fat after a performance by eating a plate
- 9:18Speaker 1: of pancakes. That's right, she filmed herself eating these delicious
- 9:22Speaker 1: looking pancakes, and she said the following quotes, I'm getting
- 9:25Speaker 1: body shamed. I'm so sad. She's been sarcastic. She's got
- 9:29Speaker 1: a big smile on her face. She is surrounded by
- 9:32Speaker 1: three golden brown pancakes, whipped cream and digging in. I
- 9:38Speaker 1: like this, laughing at yourself, at your situation, not getting
- 9:41Speaker 1: too nasty, not getting too defensive. That's the way to
- 9:45Speaker 1: handle these bullies, these trolls.
- 9:48Speaker 4: You gotta let them know that you don't care. Say
- 9:50Speaker 4: whatever you want about us, even here. Sometimes you know,
- 9:53Speaker 4: people have words about it.
- 9:54Speaker 3: We don't want to bath.
- 9:56Speaker 2: It's a manner.
- 9:57Speaker 3: It's okay.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Are you really good at that, Donny? Because we do,
- 10:00Speaker 1: you get quite a lot of feedback Noughties. We do
- 10:02Speaker 1: love it. Sometimes it can be a little harsh, Donnie.
- 10:05Speaker 1: You've had a few harsh things said about yourself, probably
- 10:08Speaker 1: more than me because I'm loved by the Naughties, Donnie.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Does it hurt your feelings?
- 10:16Speaker 4: Here's the thing I think when you first start out
- 10:19Speaker 4: doing these type of things, you can't help it. You're human,
- 10:23Speaker 4: you'd let it get to you. But after you've been
- 10:25Speaker 4: doing it long enough, you're just like, ugh, fine, bye.
- 10:28Speaker 1: We too, were like two old cows, aren't we? Out
- 10:31Speaker 1: and pasture in the field? Donnie, Who would you say,
- 10:35Speaker 1: who would you guess is the most sensitive of the
- 10:39Speaker 1: co hosts of the team. Who do you think who
- 10:41Speaker 1: gets the most upset? I know the answer.
- 10:44Speaker 3: I would say, Mark Luper, You're right.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Mark sensitive, Miss d is shockingly sensitive too. It's really interesting,
- 10:52Speaker 1: isn't it. Yeah, Mark, and mister the least sensitive weetheart,
- 10:56Speaker 1: you oh toughest leather.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Okay, moving.
- 11:00Speaker 1: This story is something that has been developing over a
- 11:05Speaker 1: couple of days. We told you a few days ago
- 11:06Speaker 1: that Mike Tyson got into some medical trouble on an airplane.
- 11:10Speaker 2: What's going on now?
- 11:13Speaker 3: It's it's just it's silly. This whole story is true,
- 11:17Speaker 3: but silly.
- 11:17Speaker 4: So Jake Paul is confirming that he's still going to
- 11:20Speaker 4: fight Mike Tyson despite Tyson having.
- 11:24Speaker 3: A medical ludicrous.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Mike is fifty seven, Jake Paul is twenty seven. Come on,
- 11:32Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know why Jake is so insistent
- 11:35Speaker 4: on this. You're thirty years younger than this man who
- 11:39Speaker 4: we've all seen him, we all have We're unsure of
- 11:42Speaker 4: what his total mental capabilities are.
- 11:45Speaker 3: But he says the fight's still going to happen.
- 11:47Speaker 4: I wish it wouldn't because at fifty seven years old,
- 11:50Speaker 4: you don't need to be out there boxing.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really concerning that he had a medical emergency
- 11:58Speaker 1: on a plane and the fights happening in less than
- 12:01Speaker 1: a couple of weeks. It's just insanity. Insanity. Who is
- 12:06Speaker 1: this Jake Paul? Wasn't he an internet sort of personality.
- 12:09Speaker 1: What's his claim to fame?
- 12:12Speaker 4: He did YouTube and then he was canceled for a while,
- 12:16Speaker 4: and then he does stuff with the ww emails and
- 12:20Speaker 4: he has like some energy drink cop Prime. The guy
- 12:23Speaker 4: somehow is a multi multiple more people.
- 12:26Speaker 1: You know, he has a ravid fan base. He comes
- 12:28Speaker 1: across as a little bit of a Joe Rogan, like
- 12:30Speaker 1: a very sort of frat boy type character, which I
- 12:34Speaker 1: think now people really like, it's not for me. It's
- 12:37Speaker 1: not for me or you, Donnie. We're ladies. We like
- 12:40Speaker 1: a tablecloth, We like a vod Casoda, don't we, Darling,
- 12:44Speaker 1: No standing up for us and no fistfighting. Oh no,
- 12:48Speaker 1: none of that, Darling. Sasha away, okay, quickly before we
- 12:53Speaker 1: get a break. Kawdy karkat Dashian is getting really honest
- 12:55Speaker 1: about her ivy F cycle before she got pregnant with
- 12:59Speaker 1: a little rock So. She revealed that she went through
- 13:02Speaker 1: five failed ivy F cycles and three egg retrievals before
- 13:08Speaker 1: she and Travis Barker conceived they're now six month old son, Rocky.
- 13:14Speaker 1: She shared the personal news in a response to a
- 13:18Speaker 1: fan question. She's very very interactive with her fans, and
- 13:22Speaker 1: a fan of us asked her a question about the pregnancy.
- 13:26Speaker 1: She said she stopped after trying for a year, but
- 13:30Speaker 1: then she started again and thankfully got pregnant. It's so
- 13:34Speaker 1: important and so so valuable that she's talking about this.
- 13:37Speaker 1: I've had friends, girlfriends who have gone through this. It's
- 13:40Speaker 1: really traumatic, it's really hard. Their hormones are raging because
- 13:44Speaker 1: of all the injections. And then hopefully they will be
- 13:48Speaker 1: as lucky as Courtney here and it will all pay off.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I think this is a good thing, though, that she's
- 13:53Speaker 1: talking about it. What do you think don I absolutely.
- 13:55Speaker 4: Because it's the hard part is a people don't ever
- 13:58Speaker 4: really talk about.
- 14:00Speaker 3: You just see women who are pregnant.
- 14:01Speaker 4: You don't know about the women who have gone through
- 14:04Speaker 4: so many other cycles. Like my sister, she desperately wanted
- 14:07Speaker 4: a second child, and then she got pregnant and she
- 14:10Speaker 4: was pretty far along, and then she had a miscake
- 14:13Speaker 4: and then she it just she was devastating. It tore her,
- 14:17Speaker 4: tore apart. Luckily she was able to get pregnant again,
- 14:20Speaker 4: and now you know, my nephew is twelve years old,
- 14:23Speaker 4: but you know, just a shining light in this world.
- 14:25Speaker 3: So you're just like But she didn't think it was.
- 14:28Speaker 4: Going to happen again after she lost and she was like,
- 14:30Speaker 4: oh my gosh, that was it. That was it, and
- 14:33Speaker 4: then luckily, but she didn't want to talk about it either,
- 14:36Speaker 4: just because she almost was afraid if I talk about it,
- 14:39Speaker 4: it might not happen.
- 14:40Speaker 1: It's like tempting fate. It's sort of an old wive's tale.
- 14:44Speaker 1: It's not true tale, but I understand why people think it.
- 14:48Speaker 1: But I think talking about this, Courtney, you were really
- 14:50Speaker 1: going to help, and it's much more.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Common than what I thought.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I know several friends, your sister, Donnie, now Courtney car
- 14:59Speaker 1: Dash in the Truthful Set. That's all free. Okay, we're
- 15:02Speaker 1: gonna take a quick break and.
- 15:03Speaker 2: We will be right back.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Will you come back to the Naughty one Night Show
- 15:08Speaker 1: and Rob shoot you with our dear friend Donny Meecham. Hey, Donnie,
- 15:10Speaker 1: let's get to the polls. Hey. Last show, we talked
- 15:13Speaker 1: about Prince Harry and Meghan Markel's wedding being miserable and
- 15:17Speaker 1: a disaster. According to a royal photographer, a question was
- 15:21Speaker 1: is this just sour grapes from the photographer. He didn't
- 15:24Speaker 1: get the photograph he wanted. Is this just sour grapes?
- 15:27Speaker 1: Seventy nine percent said yes, it is sour grapes. It
- 15:31Speaker 1: was a beautiful wedding. It wasn't a disaster. It was
- 15:34Speaker 1: a glorious, glorous day. Yeah, even people that don't like Meghan, now,
- 15:39Speaker 1: there's a lot of people. Even those people would admit
- 15:42Speaker 1: that was a fabulous wedding. Come on, we all watched
- 15:45Speaker 1: it on TI They fabulous. Don't forget to vote on
- 15:49Speaker 1: today's pole, go to a Twitter page at Naughty Nice
- 15:52Speaker 1: Rob or our Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip Mischia
- 15:56Speaker 1: to check back tomorrow to hear your results. And now
- 16:00Speaker 1: it's time for and nicest of the day.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Now.
- 16:06Speaker 4: You know here in the Naughty Been Nice show, we
- 16:09Speaker 4: you know, sometimes have a few choice for.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Us to say about Frank.
- 16:12Speaker 1: She's not a favorite of the show, not a fan,
- 16:15Speaker 1: and should point out to him she's not a fan
- 16:17Speaker 1: of the show.
- 16:18Speaker 2: She's not. She's not kid on us.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Either, Bethany.
- 16:21Speaker 4: If you're listening though, hell, because you know people hate listen,
- 16:24Speaker 4: that is their favorite thing to do.
- 16:25Speaker 3: We're gonna make you the.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Nicest of the ta you deserve happiness as well. She
- 16:30Speaker 4: was celebrating a new chapter at the Hampton's after her
- 16:34Speaker 4: Paul burn and breakup. She posted on Instagram. She goes,
- 16:39Speaker 4: may may your a Memorial Day be filled with meaning,
- 16:42Speaker 4: family memories and love, be present, laugh and don't take
- 16:47Speaker 4: yourself too seriously.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Good for her.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I think this is so lovely and I wanted to
- 16:52Speaker 1: be happy. And it's a five million dollar hashes in
- 16:55Speaker 1: the Hampitans from from the house that from that Skiinny girl,
- 16:58Speaker 1: from that boo was. She has every reason, five million
- 17:02Speaker 1: dollar reasons to smile. Bethany, you are a nicest, begrudgingly
- 17:07Speaker 1: of the day. Okay, let's do I do?
- 17:09Speaker 2: What is the day? Naughty? Naughty, naughty Broadway style. You
- 17:11Speaker 2: might not know him.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Andy carl is swading around New York City with his
- 17:14Speaker 1: new woman. Sir Andy was married to a friend of mine.
- 17:18Speaker 2: She's so talented.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Her name is Alfae. They were married for twenty three years.
- 17:22Speaker 1: That he went to Australia to start in Groundhog Day,
- 17:25Speaker 1: a musical that he did on Broadway, and something happened
- 17:29Speaker 1: with a cast member, and now his marriage is over,
