  Speaker 1: from sinful pride. He wants us to be full of grace,

  Speaker 1: help communities all over the state of Pennsylvania. Right there

  Speaker 1: Continually habitually sinning and sin leads to death. We're a

  Speaker 1: god to die right, but I want to die righteous.

  Speaker 1: I want to die in right standing with the Lord.

  Speaker 1: I want to die knowing that I try to empty

  Speaker 1: myself out of everything that God gave me and give

  Speaker 1: to others.

  Speaker 2: That's why I want to die.

  Speaker 1: I don't want to die in a simple pride that

  Speaker 1: when my funeral comes up, with my viewing or whatever

  Speaker 1: however that happens, Amen, that people won't show up because

  Speaker 1: they don't like me. Because I was arrogant, I was prideful.

  Speaker 1: I didn't help nobody. I didn't let nobody into my life.

  Speaker 1: That's not the way I want to be known. That's

  Speaker 1: not the way I want to be remembered, and I

  Speaker 1: don't think anybody wants to be remembered that way.

  Speaker 1: I don't like going to funerals. Funerals because I don't

  Speaker 1: know what to do. If it's a Christian funeral. Amen,

  Speaker 1: we're celebrating the life. We don't mourn like the way

  Speaker 1: unbelievers mourn. We have hope that on the other side

  Speaker 1: of that casket, the other side of that death and men,

  Speaker 1: there is life in Christ. What happens when you show

  Speaker 1: up to a funeral of a family that they never

  Speaker 1: trusted in the Lord?

  Speaker 2: What do you do? Amen?

  Speaker 1: I know for sure that we were meant to die.

  Speaker 1: That was in God's original intention. That was in God's

  Speaker 1: original idea for mankind. But Genesis chapter three showed up,

  Speaker 1: so we have to deal with it. Read it for yourself.

  Speaker 1: What happened in Genesis chapter three. The reason why there's sinned, death, disease,

  Speaker 1: all kinds of stuff happened because of the fall of man.

  Speaker 1: God beings God, he had to deal with that rebellity.

  Speaker 1: But the beautiful thing about God that when men fell

  Speaker 1: because of pride, it was really pride. It was ignorance.

  Speaker 1: It was lack of trust if you really think about it.

  Speaker 1: When a serpent deceived Eve, Adam had to be around

  Speaker 1: there somewhere men because he part took in the forbidden

  Speaker 1: food as well from the tree of the nodgs of

  Speaker 1: good and evil, and the tree that God said, you

  Speaker 1: could do everything in this whole entire garden, but don't

  Speaker 1: eat from that one tree. And as humans, we tend

  Speaker 1: to do the exact thing, starting from when we were kids.

  Speaker 1: Right when our parents tell us, listen, you could play

  Speaker 1: with your toys, but don't touch the stove or don't

  Speaker 1: touch that. The minute we hear don't touch something, we

  Speaker 1: and tricked Eve into sinning into rebellion, right, and then

  Speaker 1: he cursed that snake. And now he said, forever you

  Speaker 1: will be on your belly. So maybe he had legs

  Speaker 1: and maybe he could fly back well, you know, and

  Speaker 1: then I have to look into that. But after that

  Speaker 1: it created the need for or redeemer, and that redeemer

  Speaker 1: is the Lord Jesus. Goodness of God showed up from

  Speaker 1: the very beginning in creation. His grace showed up in

  Speaker 1: the very beginning. He didn't annihilate. He could annihilate it,

  Speaker 1: the whole thing, everybody in that whole scenario, and say listen,

  Speaker 1: But because he loves us, he wanted to communicate with us.

  Speaker 1: in communication with him. And here we are, amen, But

  Speaker 1: we don't have to be in this sinful pride anymore.

  Speaker 1: Pride caused Lucifer when he was in heaven's arrogance and

  Speaker 1: pride he wanted to worship tossed out of heaven, but

  Speaker 1: he convinced a third of the angels to come.

  Speaker 1: Some people walking around with the sinful pride that they

  Speaker 1: don't want to be taught anything, told anything. It's either

  Speaker 1: their way or the highway. If you don't agree with them,

  Speaker 1: they keep on moving to other places and other things,

  Speaker 1: and then never let anybody into their lives, including God.

  Speaker 1: That's a tough place to be. Man, be humble, humble yourself, amen.

  Speaker 1: The Bible says, those who are humbled, God will exalt,

  Speaker 1: but those who try to exalt themselves, who are proud

  Speaker 1: we could do this. So that's Proverbs thirteen ten. How

  Speaker 1: about this one, Proverbs sixteen eighteen. Pride goes before destruction,

  Speaker 1: around with this anger. They're always mad, they're always angry.

  Speaker 1: You didn't do nothing to them, amen, And yet they're

  Speaker 1: gonna handle you real quick, and they're gonna push you

  Speaker 1: around in a destructive mode, destructive mood, and sooner or

  Speaker 1: later that destruction is going to come upon them. And

  Speaker 1: don't want nobody to live in a simple, pride for life.

  Speaker 1: that is always powerful, prideful, and it's simple pride, and

  Speaker 1: it's hard to deal with. You might know people like this.

  Speaker 1: There might be people in your life that continue to
• 22:57
  Speaker 1: be arrogant against you and all that. We have scriptures

  Speaker 1: that will encourage us and give us hope even for them, Amen,

  Speaker 1: But we have to figure out a way and find

  Speaker 1: a way to get them encouraged to go to the

  Speaker 1: scriptures for themselves. Maybe just be the example of those

  Speaker 1: people that you don't want to be. But if you

  Speaker 1: are surrounding yourself with people who are arrogant and full

  Speaker 1: of pride and simple, and they have habitual sin, and

  Speaker 1: they do this, then the third and you surround yourself

  Speaker 1: with those people, eventually you might hopefully not but eventually
• 23:26
  Speaker 1: you might fall prey into those same exact things that
• 23:29
  Speaker 1: you said you were against. Isaiah Chapter two, verse eleven says,

  Speaker 1: the eyes of the arrogant man will be humbled, and

  Speaker 1: the pride of men brought low. The Lord alone will

  Speaker 1: be exalted in that day. Whenever that day is, that

  Speaker 1: day came or ready for the prophet Isaiah. Amen, and

  Speaker 1: that day could come for us too. Who are you with,

  Speaker 1: who are you trusting in? Who are you involving yourself with?

  Speaker 1: And when simple pride shows up, it should really not

  Speaker 1: please you. It shouldn't have satisfied soul, It shouldn't be attractive,

  Speaker 1: can we help these people, this person, this family, because

  Speaker 1: they're dealing with simple pride.

  Speaker 1: As believers and brothers assistance in Christ, we shouldn't have

  Speaker 1: that towards one another. The Bible says that we should

  Speaker 1: show love towards one another in such a way that

  Speaker 1: we are united, and that we are in the body

  Speaker 1: of Christ, that we are in the Kingdom of God. Amen,

  Speaker 1: God is because of the love they see from one another.
