Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: It's your early body praise party. I am a Sherry
- 0:03Speaker 1: Mackie in his time right now four Today's word crowned
- 0:09Speaker 1: by the King. Revelation five and ten says, and have
- 0:14Speaker 1: made us kings and priests to our God, and we
- 0:16Speaker 1: show reign on the earth. You know, life has a
- 0:20Speaker 1: way of convincing us that our circumstances define us. When
- 0:24Speaker 1: hardship comes, when loss or disappointment knocks the wind out
- 0:28Speaker 1: of us, it's easy to forget who we really are.
- 0:32Speaker 1: See that's what happened to Maphibus Chef. Born into royalty
- 0:37Speaker 1: as the grandson of King Saul and son of Jonathan,
- 0:41Speaker 1: his life took a sudden turn. In the chaos following battle,
- 0:45Speaker 1: he was dropped by his nurse, leaving him permanently disabled.
- 0:51Speaker 1: In a moment, he went from talas halls the hiding places,
- 0:57Speaker 1: from privilege to poverty. He ended up in Lodobar, a
- 1:02Speaker 1: place whose very name meant no pastor and no word,
- 1:06Speaker 1: a baron, forgotten place. Yet living in Lodobar did not
- 1:11Speaker 1: cancel his royal identity. Though he was broken, he was
- 1:15Speaker 1: overlooked and far from the palace, he was still the
- 1:20Speaker 1: king's grandson. Years later, King David asked a powerful question,
- 1:26Speaker 1: is there anyone left of the House of Saul to
- 1:29Speaker 1: whom I can show kindness? When mamphibis Chef was found,
- 1:34Speaker 1: David didn't treat him as a burden or afterthought. He
- 1:37Speaker 1: restored him all the land that belonged to his family
- 1:41Speaker 1: and invited him to eat at the King's table. Continually,
- 1:46Speaker 1: maphibis Chef went from surviving to reigning, not because of
- 1:50Speaker 1: what he had done, but because of who he was
- 1:53Speaker 1: connected to. Well, guess what. The same truth applies to
- 1:57Speaker 1: you and to me. God has declared that we are royalty,
- 2:02Speaker 1: made a king and a priest unto him. I know
- 2:07Speaker 1: you may feel like life has dropped you. You may
- 2:10Speaker 1: be dealing with limitations, disappointments, or even a season of
- 2:14Speaker 1: lack that feels like Lodobar. But where you are is
- 2:19Speaker 1: not who you are. Your setbacks have not stripped you
- 2:24Speaker 1: of your calling. Your failures have not erased your inheritance.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Your past has not disqualified you from God's future. For you,
- 2:32Speaker 1: you carry royal blood, not by human lineage, but by
- 2:36Speaker 1: divine adoption. You are a child of the King of kings.
- 2:40Speaker 1: God knows exactly where you are. He is calling your name.
- 2:44Speaker 1: He is about to restore what was lost. He's going
- 2:47Speaker 1: to renew dreams that seem buried and invite you to
- 2:50Speaker 1: live from a place of favor and not fear. Don't
- 2:55Speaker 1: let temporary conditions convince you of a permanent lie. Lift
- 3:00Speaker 1: your head up, walk in confidence. You belong at the
- 3:03Speaker 1: King's table and your story is not over. Father. Thank
- 3:07Speaker 1: you that you have called us your own and crowned
- 3:12Speaker 1: us with purpose and identity as your children. Thank you
- 3:16Speaker 1: that our circumstances do not define us, and our past
- 3:20Speaker 1: does not disqualify us. Come on own, Jesus, help us
- 3:23Speaker 1: to see ourselves a way that you see us. We're chosen,
- 3:26Speaker 1: We're restored, and we are loved God. We declare that
- 3:29Speaker 1: we are royalty in you, and we will walk in
- 3:32Speaker 1: the fullness of what you have prepared for us in
- 3:35Speaker 1: Jesus' name. Hey, now that's your word for today. Take
- 3:39Speaker 1: it applied to your everyday life, and you continue to
- 3:41Speaker 1: be encouraged to and and inspired. It is your early
- 3:44Speaker 1: brding praise party. I am Sherry Mackie
