- 0:49SPEAKER_05: Also, you can watch the show live on uh Facebook and uh Twitter and on YouTube as well, Center of the American Experiment on my X-Feed.
- 0:58SPEAKER_05: I said Twitter, but XFeed.
- 0:59SPEAKER_05: You can watch it there.
- 1:00SPEAKER_05: Podcasts are posted after the show.
- 1:02SPEAKER_05: You can do a rewatch of the show on Rumble and all those social media platforms as well.
- 1:06SPEAKER_05: I was uh just talking with uh producer Devin, and good morning again, Devin.
- 1:09SPEAKER_05: Good to see you.
- 1:10SPEAKER_05: Good morning.
- 1:11SPEAKER_05: Uh by the way, so that I thought for a moment that that looming um messy defeat of the Vikings was going to transpire against the Colts yesterday, but nevertheless, the Vikings pulled it out.
- 1:25SPEAKER_05: I still say that there is a massive defeat waiting in the future for our beloved Minnesota Vikings, but alas, it was not the Indianapolis Colts.
- 1:35SPEAKER_06: I I feel like at this point it we need to wait near the end of the season or maybe even to the playoffs for that really devastating loss that you're talking about to come to fruition.
- 1:45SPEAKER_06: Because anything at this point won't be devastating.
- 1:48SPEAKER_05: Right.
- 1:49SPEAKER_05: We're 6-0, so it's like, okay, can't go winless, you know.
- 1:54SPEAKER_05: That's all right.
- 1:54SPEAKER_05: But who do you know who we have coming up on on the schedule?
- 1:58SPEAKER_06: We got Detroit coming up.
- 1:59SPEAKER_06: It's a tough stretch the next three or four weeks.
- 2:01SPEAKER_06: What's Detroit's record right now?
- 2:03SPEAKER_06: Uh, I believe th four and three.
- 2:06SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 2:07SPEAKER_06: All right.
- 2:07SPEAKER_06: It's a little bit tougher than the Colts.
- 2:09SPEAKER_06: Yes.
- 2:09SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 2:10SPEAKER_06: For sure.
- 2:10SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 2:11SPEAKER_05: I mean, most of these games, if if I was looking at the schedule, as a matter of fact, I did before the season started, uh, I would look at it and go, okay, you know, then this the the opening of the schedule isn't too too bad.
- 2:21SPEAKER_05: So I'm kind of kind of waiting.
- 2:23SPEAKER_05: Nevertheless, all of our sports teams are doing relatively well.
- 2:27SPEAKER_05: Yes, it it's it feels weird.
- 2:30SPEAKER_05: I think it's a har I think it's a harbinger of good things, of good things to come.
- 2:33SPEAKER_05: I'm not paying attention.
- 2:34SPEAKER_05: Well, I'm kind of paying attention to the poll.
- 2:36SPEAKER_06: And a quick shout out to PA, our good friend, for his 500th game.
- 2:40SPEAKER_05: Yes.
- 2:40SPEAKER_06: We love that.
- 2:41SPEAKER_05: Yeah, that was fantastic to see him uh to see all of the accolades thrown at him and the acknowledgement of uh him calling his uh 500th game.
- 2:50SPEAKER_05: I'm glad you mentioned that though.
- 2:51SPEAKER_05: I needed to drop uh I need to drop him a text.
- 2:53SPEAKER_05: I should have done that, uh, should have done that yesterday.
- 2:55SPEAKER_05: All right, if you want to take part in the show, 651 at 964-0294.
- 3:02SPEAKER_05: That is the number for the blaster line, where you can leave us a uh voice or text message at any point uh throughout uh the show.
- 3:10SPEAKER_05: We're gonna talk with Andrew Langer, president of the Institute for Liberty.
- 3:13SPEAKER_05: He'll be joining us coming up at uh 630.
- 3:16SPEAKER_05: Also, uh Scott Johnson, a friend of the show whom we have not spoken with in uh quite a long time.
- 3:23SPEAKER_05: But this is an individual who was at the forefront of the investigations into Ilhan Omar.
- 3:32SPEAKER_05: Much of what we know, as we've discussed on the show, when you have a lot of ground to cover coming up after 7 o'clock this morning, much of what we know uh relating to the investigation in Ilhan Omar is not new information.
- 3:45SPEAKER_05: These are not revelations by any stretch, because there have been individuals who have done the investigative uh legwork, you know, going back a decade.
- 3:54SPEAKER_05: It doesn't make it any less important.
- 3:56SPEAKER_05: It doesn't mean that the allegations aren't credible.
- 3:59SPEAKER_05: It just means that there were individuals who simply refused to go in positions of power to do anything about it.
- 4:05SPEAKER_05: Scott Johnson was one of those individuals who's at the forefront of the investigation into Ilhan Omar.
- 4:10SPEAKER_05: And so he's gonna be joining us coming up, and I'm really looking forward to this conversation at uh 8.30 uh this morning.
- 4:16SPEAKER_05: We'll give you again the latest, a little, a few, uh, a few items of note in the stack in the first hour of the show, but we'll give you all of the uh latest details that are coming up after 7 o'clock.
- 4:27SPEAKER_05: Also, um, United States Postal Mosque.
- 4:32SPEAKER_05: So we'll get into this right around 7.30 this morning.
- 4:36SPEAKER_05: So uh the individual, uh David Hoke, who had worked with uh Nick Shirley, uh, partnered with another uh uh independent uh journalist investigator and discovered that in Wyoming there is a mosque that has a post office embedded in it.
- 4:55SPEAKER_05: That's about all that we know.
- 4:57SPEAKER_05: I'm gonna provide you all of the details that I can find so far so far.
- 5:01SPEAKER_05: Because obviously this is raising a lot of eyebrows.
- 5:03SPEAKER_05: Like, how in the world is the federal government paying a mosque to house a post office?
- 5:12SPEAKER_05: But it's been like this for quite a long time now.
- 5:15SPEAKER_05: So I have many of you reached out over the weekend, john.justice at americanexperiment.org uh to uh ask me uh about this particular uh story that's uh gone viral online.
- 5:28SPEAKER_05: And so I will give you all of what I was able to find out uh this morning coming up at uh at 7.30.
- 5:35SPEAKER_05: Also, a rash of crime incidents uh here uh just across the Twin Cities, outside of the metro area, uh, all leading up to right the election a little over a week from uh from today.
- 5:49SPEAKER_05: And how much of this will play an impact uh into the election remains to be seen.
- 5:54SPEAKER_05: I do believe, and this is what I was going to say when I kicked things off, and I was talking with uh Devin before the show started.
- 6:00SPEAKER_05: I this today is kind of the calm before the storm.
- 6:03SPEAKER_05: I am expecting a very busy and wild news week.
- 6:09SPEAKER_05: Uh, there is so much at stake with this election.
- 6:11SPEAKER_05: They are allegedly doing that thing with my fingers.
- 6:15SPEAKER_05: Uh, so close, all of these different races.
- 6:18SPEAKER_05: I don't think it's gonna be the case.
- 6:21SPEAKER_05: One way or the other.
- 6:22SPEAKER_05: That's not even me saying that the GOP is gonna do well or the Democrats are gonna do well.
- 6:27SPEAKER_05: I just don't think it is going to be nearly as close as what everybody is is forecasting.
- 6:32SPEAKER_05: I think it's gonna be pretty decisive going either either direction.
- 6:36SPEAKER_05: I just can't put any faith or any credibility in any of the predictions and the polling that is being uh put forward.
- 6:45SPEAKER_05: So we'll get a little bit more into that later on in this hour when we talk with uh Andrew uh Andrew Langer.
- 6:50SPEAKER_05: I do want to get you up to speed on the stories you might have missed as we were heading into the weekend with an alpha news update.
- 6:55SPEAKER_05: First, let's go and hear from a friend of the show, TJ.
- 6:57SPEAKER_24: Hey John, TJ in Minneapolis.
- 6:59SPEAKER_24: I wanted to ask some of the videos I've been seeing all around of Omar and Elephant going and voting.
- 7:05SPEAKER_24: Can't she get in trouble for voting under a different name?
- 7:09SPEAKER_05: Of course.
- 7:10SPEAKER_24: Isn't that election fraud?
- 7:11SPEAKER_05: Well, of course it is.
- 7:12SPEAKER_24: Have a good day, guys.
- 7:13SPEAKER_05: It is, but and I saw a lot of people, because Ilhan made the rounds uh over the weekend.
- 7:20SPEAKER_05: Heading into the weekend, she went and voted.
- 7:22SPEAKER_05: It was all on public display.
- 7:24SPEAKER_05: It was all political theater.
- 7:25SPEAKER_05: There was a goofy video of her and her shocking declaration of love husband, Tim Minette, standing on some sort of dock by a body of water locally with some Molly protest song playing in the background.
- 7:38SPEAKER_05: It's all political theater at this point in time.
- 7:40SPEAKER_05: But TJ, to your point, sure it is.
- 7:43SPEAKER_05: But the truth of the matter is, if any of these allegations end up becoming true, Ilhan voting uh on Friday last week is like the least of her problems.
- 7:54SPEAKER_05: I mean, you can that's like that would be like the end point of all of the other things that she could be in trouble for by operating in the United States and certainly as a member of Congress under a false identity.
- 8:08SPEAKER_05: So, yes, that would be, there would be a violation there, but just add it to the to the list.
- 8:14SPEAKER_05: Everything, I'll give you a bit of a preview of my commentary.
- 8:16SPEAKER_05: Everything you see happening right now relating to Ilhan Omar, it's by design, and it's all about not keeping her from indictments and prosecution, but about what comes next for Ilhan Omar.
- 8:31SPEAKER_05: This is all setting up for a post-congressional Ilhan Omar life that she will probably be having to execute once we get through the indictments and whatever, you know, the outcome of that is.
- 8:46SPEAKER_05: I'm very much of the opinion that I think the federal government has a pretty uh uh clear-cut case in all of this.
- 8:54SPEAKER_05: So she's she's in trouble.
- 8:56SPEAKER_05: She's in big trouble and is probably gonna get indicted, and they're probably gonna win in court.
- 9:01SPEAKER_05: And so everything that you're seeing now is to make sure that the court of public opinion is tailored specifically to benefit her after she goes through all of the criminal prosecutions.
- 9:16SPEAKER_05: 651-964-0294 is the number for the blaster line.
- 9:20SPEAKER_05: Uh, White House Press Secretary Part 2, an unlikely name emerges.
- 9:25SPEAKER_05: I will share with you the individual whom right now is considered the front runner, at least from an entertaining standpoint.
- 9:32SPEAKER_05: I would be in support of this.
- 9:34SPEAKER_05: I'll share this with you next first.
- 9:36SPEAKER_05: Let's give you a uh a weekend update with Liz Collin and uh Alpha News here on the John Justice Show, presented by American Experiment.
- 9:42SPEAKER_12: Here's a look at some of the top stories this week at Alpha News.
- 9:45SPEAKER_12: In her first interview since the raid on her Washington, D.C.
- 9:49SPEAKER_12: home, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar was asked if she married her brother.
- 9:53SPEAKER_12: Her reply, not to my knowledge.
- 9:56SPEAKER_12: In addition to the bizarre comments, a new DOJ document says Ilhan Omar's real name is Ilhan Noor Said Elmi, an issue Alpha News first began exposing a decade ago.
- 10:08SPEAKER_12: Federal prosecutors reportedly plan to use DNA evidence to prove the Congresswoman married her brother.
- 10:15SPEAKER_12: And on the podcast, Minnesota's fraud finder issues a dire warning to Minnesotans as elections loom.
- 10:22SPEAKER_12: David Hoke, the fraud researcher featured in Nick Shirley's viral videos, shared more about his latest investigations and how his life has drastically changed since that December video.
- 10:32SPEAKER_12: And with election day, what you need to know about what's on the ballot.
- 10:36SPEAKER_12: Minnesotans will elect a new governor, state legislature, U.S.
- 10:40SPEAKER_12: Senator, and more on November 3rd.
- 10:42SPEAKER_12: Much of the focus will be on whether Republicans can win a statewide office for the first time in 20 years and the fight over the 201 seats in the Minnesota legislature.

- 12:45SPEAKER_20: Morning, John.
- 12:46SPEAKER_20: Have a good week.
- 12:47SPEAKER_20: Yeah, I'm up early all this week, so I'll be able to give you blasters from 6 o'clock on.
- 12:53SPEAKER_20: I bet that makes you happy.
- 12:54SPEAKER_20: You could just have a fun story for you, though.
- 12:58SPEAKER_20: It was moving night at my house on Friday night.
- 13:02SPEAKER_20: Four women.
- 13:06SPEAKER_20: One of them was a Democrat who was clearly.
- 13:18SPEAKER_20: And my wife looked at her with an incredible looking for crashing Republicans forever.
- 13:30SPEAKER_20: She was crazy in her safe.
- 13:36SPEAKER_20: And nowhere in Minnesota were a Democrat was crashed.
- 13:43SPEAKER_20: And it reaffirms my belief that the only people who don't believe that Minnesota Democrats are complete jack-o'-lanterns are Minnesota Democrats.
- 13:55SPEAKER_20: You have a great week.
- 13:57SPEAKER_05: You have a great uh week as well.
- 13:59SPEAKER_05: Thank you so much uh for the uh blast uh this morning.
- 14:02SPEAKER_05: And it's an interesting commentary when you consider what we'll get into coming up a little bit later on, and that is, in my view, how you simply, you know, cannot uh trust what is being reported right now regarding any potential predictions of these midterm elections, you know, a week from uh from tomorrow.
- 14:21SPEAKER_05: Listen, the mere fact that you have Trump with the war in Iran and the impact that it's had here on the United States and higher gas prices, uh, the diesel prices more attached to Ukraine and Russia, but be that as it may, it doesn't matter for a lot of voters because they're not paying close attention.
- 14:35SPEAKER_05: So you have, you know, negative approval ratings for Trump.
- 14:38SPEAKER_05: You have all of these different ancillary factors that could potentially go and weigh down the GOP's chances already in a midterm election where the party in power typically doesn't do well.
- 14:50SPEAKER_05: But at the same time, Democrats have done themselves zero favors by going and embracing socialists.
- 14:58SPEAKER_05: We'll get into later on today.
- 14:59SPEAKER_05: Hassan Piker, Omar Fateh, Ilhan Omar all getting together uh for their commie powwow this afternoon for the podcast.
- 15:06SPEAKER_05: This has caused division within the Democrat Party.
- 15:09SPEAKER_05: Even Ken Martin is coming out speaking out against it.
- 15:12SPEAKER_05: So any externalities that may be negative towards Republicans, the Democrats also haven't done themselves any favor in taking advantage of those negative externalities relating to the right.
- 15:24SPEAKER_05: On top of that, we have all this evidence of polling being fabricated across the board, commentary from those that are talking within the mainstream media that the leftists watch in mass, and they're all looking for the latest soundbite or to demoralize Republicans.
- 15:40SPEAKER_05: So all of this is to say to try to make a prediction of what's going to happen uh next uh Tuesday is an effort in futility.
- 15:48SPEAKER_05: And we'll continue to exercise that effort here on the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 15:53SPEAKER_44: Our kids deserve a school board focused on what matters most: academic excellence.
- 15:59SPEAKER_44: That's why Rick Storley, Lisa Atkinson, and Amy Witt are stepping up for Prior Lake Savage Area Schools.
- 16:06SPEAKER_44: The SAW Slate brings conservative common sense back to our classrooms, prioritizing core learning, student outcomes, and setting high standards for every student to succeed.
- 16:18SPEAKER_44: Do you see the need for strong schools?
- 16:20SPEAKER_44: Vote SAW Storily Atkinson and Witt for PLSAS School Board on November 3rd.
- 16:27SPEAKER_44: Visit sawtheneed.com.
- 16:30SPEAKER_44: Paid for by campaign funds for Storly for PLSAS, Lisa Atkinson for School Board, and the committee to elect Amy Witt for School Board.
- 16:37SPEAKER_05: If a woman finds out she is pregnant and feels scared and alone, Alpha Women's Center offers her help and hope to choose life.
- 16:45SPEAKER_05: Alpha Women's Center is a pro-life Christian mobile clinic that serves women like Tita, who left her abortion appointment and chose life for her twins after seeing her ultrasound.
- 16:55SPEAKER_05: With free counseling, diapers, and resources, she's continuing her education and building a stronger family.
- 17:01SPEAKER_05: Alpha Women's Center is donor supported and serves five Twin Cities locations, including outside abortion clinics.
- 17:08SPEAKER_05: For more information, go to MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 17:13SPEAKER_05: That's MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 17:18SPEAKER_10: Hey, good morning, John.
- 17:20SPEAKER_10: So I've got a question.
- 17:22SPEAKER_10: Elon Homar, she resigns from Congress.
- 17:26SPEAKER_10: And then who brings in another person to replace her?
- 17:31SPEAKER_10: Does the DFL or how does that work?
- 17:34SPEAKER_10: Does somebody just carnate somebody else?
- 17:36SPEAKER_05: I feel like I'm gonna have to put up a um I need to put up like a cheat sheet somewhere to frequently ask questions regarding Ilhan Omar because I think uh to no offense of the uh the blast question, I think this is the fourth or fifth time I've answered this on the show.
- 17:55SPEAKER_05: So no, it would be Congress would have to vote to remove her from Congress, right?
- 18:02SPEAKER_05: The fellow House congressional House members would have to go and vote to do that.
- 18:06SPEAKER_05: And then there would have to be a special a special election.
- 18:08SPEAKER_05: There is no appointing anybody to to that seat.
- 18:11SPEAKER_05: And we will be discussing this later on because a couple of names are already emerging.
- 18:16SPEAKER_05: It looks like Zayna Mohammed.
- 18:18SPEAKER_05: Um she's running in her race, but there's a lot of chatter that she could be primed to replace Ilhan Omar.
- 18:26SPEAKER_05: Also the the the uh Somali mayor in St.
- 18:29SPEAKER_05: Louis Park could also be another individual.
- 18:31SPEAKER_05: But no, uh they would ultimately uh have to, there would have to be a special election in order to replace uh Ilhan Omar.
- 18:39SPEAKER_05: All right, more coming up in just a moment, including who the next White House press secretary might be.
- 18:44SPEAKER_51: This is Joe Scott, and I'm still the only conservative on the Eastern Carver County Schools board.
- 18:49SPEAKER_51: I'd like to thank John's listeners for their generosity.
- 18:52SPEAKER_51: Now, because this is Minnesota, you can vote for me in person as early as Friday, October 16th.
- 18:58SPEAKER_51: Now, let's talk about the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment Test Scores for Eastern Carver County Schools.
- 19:04SPEAKER_51: Only 62.6% of our students are proficient in reading, only 62.5% are proficient in math, and only 29.9% are proficient in science.
- 19:17SPEAKER_51: So, how are we graduating 94.1% of our students?
- 19:22SPEAKER_51: You know, this has nothing to do with the quality of our teachers, and it had everything to do with a lack of a school board and administrative accountability.
- 19:30SPEAKER_51: Our superintendent is not contractually responsible for student proficiency.
- 19:34SPEAKER_51: Go to the blog section of my website at reelectjoeescott.com and ec s mca scores.com.
- 19:50SPEAKER_37: We love Trump.
- 19:52SPEAKER_37: We love Trump.
- 19:54SPEAKER_37: We love We love Michigan makes them noise.
- 20:02SPEAKER_37: I said Michigan makes them noise.
- 20:08SPEAKER_05: Um, this is Nicki Minaj, by the way.
- 20:13SPEAKER_05: The Trump administration jokingly teased that Nicki Minaj could be the next White House press secretary in a social media post.
- 20:22SPEAKER_05: The post featuring a moca interview between Minaj and the White House communications director, Stephen Chang, highlighted Minaj's support for Trump and her praise for economic policies.
- 20:33SPEAKER_05: Now, with her trying to get the crowd to uh chant at the start, focus more on the next part of her comments up on stage at a rally from over the weekend.
- 20:49SPEAKER_36: I am so honored to be working with this president.
- 20:53SPEAKER_36: He represents resilience.
- 20:56SPEAKER_36: You know, so many people um were maybe giving up a little bit, a little bit hopeless.
- 21:02SPEAKER_36: And since he's come back, he's changed the energy of our country, and um he's given us uh a future to look forward to, a brighter future for us and our children.
- 21:14SPEAKER_36: So let's make some noise for this great man.
- 21:19SPEAKER_36: I love him so much.
- 21:23SPEAKER_37: And when I say Mike, you say Rogers, Mike.
- 21:29SPEAKER_05: Okay, I just I I understand it's a rally and you need to get people fired up.
- 21:37SPEAKER_05: I just I don't care uh if you're at a Democrat rally, I don't care if you're at a Republican Trump rally.
- 21:43SPEAKER_05: I just the whole getting the crowd to go and chant and all that, I just, you know, call me a pinkies up elitist.
- 21:50SPEAKER_05: I'm just like, ugh.
- 21:52SPEAKER_05: It's just not my not my thing.
- 21:53SPEAKER_05: What I want to focus on, though, is her commentary there in between.
- 21:57SPEAKER_05: And she said more on stage, but you get the general, the general.
- 22:00SPEAKER_05: Idea.
- 22:00SPEAKER_05: Trump teased the rapper as the next press secretary in that social media post I mentioned.
- 22:06SPEAKER_05: The official White House account also played into the fun by uh replying with the eyes emoji.
- 22:12SPEAKER_05: Listen, maybe not a permanent White House press secretary, but let her do it once.
- 22:17SPEAKER_05: That'd just be fun.
- 22:18SPEAKER_05: She can hold her own.
- 22:19SPEAKER_05: I mean, I will there is something to be said about, you know, Nicki Minaj being a former rapper, having that background.
- 22:26SPEAKER_05: If you have watched any of her interviews, although you probably would have to get her to clean up her language a little tiny bit, uh, if you've watched any of her interviews, I mean, she is incredibly articulate.
- 22:35SPEAKER_05: And when it comes to the White House press secretary role, what you need as an individual, who you need as an individual who displays a certain level of confidence in front of the White House press corps and can handle the back and forth.
- 22:46SPEAKER_05: That was something that Caroline Levitt at a very young age was incredibly talented uh talented at doing.
- 22:52SPEAKER_05: Uh, you know, Zachariah, yeah, not so much.
- 22:55SPEAKER_05: And she lasted a day.
- 22:56SPEAKER_05: Nicki Minaj, though, I think, can handle that.
- 22:58SPEAKER_05: Uh that being said, I don't think she's a permanent uh solution by any stretch, but at least give her a chance to, you know, to hope to host one of to one of them.
- 23:07SPEAKER_05: Right?
- 23:08SPEAKER_05: Not a job that I would want, by the way.
- 23:10SPEAKER_05: Uh somebody had sent in a uh text to the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 23:16SPEAKER_05: Do you feel the do you feel the polls used to be far more reliable when they were conducted by organizations without a political agenda?
- 23:22SPEAKER_05: I find it hard to trust them right now.
- 23:23SPEAKER_05: No, I 100%.
- 23:25SPEAKER_05: There's been too much consolidation, shrinking of newsrooms.
- 23:29SPEAKER_05: And so what you have is with the shrinking of newsrooms and news outlets that used to be, you know, concerned the most with doing quality journalism, you know, and being fair and balanced, that's all gone by the wayside.
- 23:45SPEAKER_05: Too many competing interests, along with consolidation, has absolutely gone and diluted the entire process.
- 23:52SPEAKER_05: And I'm not even just talking about polling, I'm talking about just journalism in and of it of itself.
- 23:57SPEAKER_05: And so you do have a few reputable polling outfits that are out there, but they are few and far between because so many of these are looking to gain attention because there's monetary value, there's a fiscal angle to all of this.
- 24:11SPEAKER_05: So whether it's your major, you know, news organizations or it's your independent pollsters.
- 24:16SPEAKER_05: And so they need to put out information that is going to be widely spread and also is going to cause, you know, a bit of uh a bit of controversy, excitement on top of the bias involved.
- 24:30SPEAKER_05: So yeah, no, I'm with you.
- 24:31SPEAKER_05: I I think there was in a jerk, listen, it all went it all fell by the wayside along the same timeline as the news journal, and as you know, journalistic integrity fell by the wayside in the wake of, as I mentioned, all of these different competing sources for your ears and eyeballs, the internet and social media.
- 24:50SPEAKER_05: So, yes, as a matter of fact, I do believe that you used to be able to trust it more so than you than you can now.
- 24:56SPEAKER_05: Uh, thank you for that, by the way.
- 24:58SPEAKER_05: Um, so here's a quick Ilhan Omar before we get into our discussion with Andrew Langer.
- 25:03SPEAKER_05: We'll talk more about this again coming up after 7 o'clock.
- 25:06SPEAKER_05: However, she has hired uh attorneys, uh Amy Jeffries and Joshua Matz to represent her as federal prosecutors investigate her immigration history.
- 25:16SPEAKER_05: Uh, these individuals, according to the New York Post, Jeffries became former President Joe Biden's personal attorney in 2025.
- 25:25SPEAKER_05: Matz served as counsel for the House Judiciary Committee during both of Trump's impeachments and has represented uh Brown, Columbia, and New York universities in litigation against the administration.
- 25:39SPEAKER_05: So um she also over the weekend uh went back and deleted a whole bunch of social media posts that were incredibly incriminating when it comes to what her real last name uh is alleged to be, specifically regarding her father.
- 25:55SPEAKER_05: Um, you don't delete social media posts and hire high-profile attorneys uh if you're not concerned about the outcome of these allegations and potential uh indictments.
- 26:10SPEAKER_05: Deleting posts and hiring high-profile attorneys doesn't uh exactly scream uh innocence.
- 26:16SPEAKER_05: So again, uh, this is all about what comes next.
- 26:19SPEAKER_05: It's all about her team controlling the narrative so that when the time comes and we see the you know Ilhan Omar 2.0 that they have some ground to work with.
- 26:31SPEAKER_05: Uh speaking of Joe Biden, Joe Biden's replacement in the uh last presidential election, uh, returns to the returns to campaigning and the campaign trail with a uh 76-word head scratcher.
- 26:48SPEAKER_05: So she was in New Hampshire over the weekend.
- 26:50SPEAKER_05: I have a couple of clips.
- 26:51SPEAKER_05: One we'll say for much later in the show.
- 26:52SPEAKER_05: But Kamala Harris was in New Hampshire over the weekend and uh uh once again delivered a confusing statement about her Senate experience.
- 27:02SPEAKER_05: The trip included a podcast recording, meetings with abortion advocates.
- 27:06SPEAKER_05: This comes amid a series of public gaffes that could uh signal a potential uh 2028 uh presidential bid, as I mentioned uh last week when we played the last Kamala clip.
- 27:18SPEAKER_05: Um, please, by all means, Kamala Harris, run.
- 27:22SPEAKER_05: Just for the entertainment value alone.
- 27:25SPEAKER_35: Remember, I was a United States fan.
- 27:28SPEAKER_35: So I know what happens in those rooms.
- 27:31SPEAKER_35: And in those rooms, in your mom knows in those rooms, there are conversations that happen where it is important for certain people to stand up and speak.
- 27:40SPEAKER_35: To help at least at least encourage a certain conscience about what we should care about in terms of the work we do in the halls of Washington, DC, and with some clarity about how it will actually play out in the streets of America.
- 27:57SPEAKER_35: Harris is the kind of person who will be in that room thinking that way.
- 28:03SPEAKER_05: What?
- 28:05SPEAKER_05: Harris says certain twice and rooms twice, but then fails to explain who certain people are, what they should say, or what conscience she wants to encourage.
- 28:16SPEAKER_05: This woman.
- 28:18SPEAKER_05: I just so incredibly delusional.
- 28:21SPEAKER_05: It was delusional when she replaced Joe Biden.
- 28:24SPEAKER_05: It is delusional to think that she would actually make it, and and I'll eat my words if this is the case, but that she would actually become the nominee through a primary process.
- 28:34SPEAKER_05: She didn't even make it to her own state the last time that she ran to be the presidential nominee.
- 28:40SPEAKER_05: She had to be appointed to the role.
- 28:44SPEAKER_05: Now, the trip could double as a visit to an early primary state since Harris has reportedly not ruled out another White House bid.
- 28:51SPEAKER_05: New Hampshire holds a third contest from the uh Democrats' 2028 primary calendar, and Harris uh opened her midterm tour in Nevada, which hosts the uh second statewide primary.
- 29:03SPEAKER_05: What if this is all that they have right now?
- 29:07SPEAKER_05: Holy cow.
- 29:08SPEAKER_05: All right, let's turn our attention back over to uh the election and uh the latest regarding uh the thoughts from uh those talking heads in the media.
- 29:18SPEAKER_05: So, first off, Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers, he stated that early ballot returns in Michigan favor Republicans, with GOP voters favoring ballots at higher rates than Democrats.
- 29:29SPEAKER_05: He said this is significant as Republicans tend to perform better on election day.
- 29:33SPEAKER_05: Uh, the race between Rogers and the Democrat Abdul El Said is, of course, highly competitive, dominating uh the media headlines.
- 29:41SPEAKER_05: Recent polling showing El Said with a narrow lead for whatever stock you put in it.
- 29:46SPEAKER_05: Uh, let's play this clip, though.
- 29:47SPEAKER_05: This comes from um NBC, some of their latest thoughts on uh the election poll.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: Talk about Minnesota.
- 29:52SPEAKER_30: Yeah, that's the other one.
- 29:53SPEAKER_30: On the other side, Republicans think they can flip a Democratic state here.
- 29:57SPEAKER_30: Again, in 2024, Trump carried the state, show you what it looked like.
- 30:00SPEAKER_30: Relatively close here for Republicans, they've been trying for decades to flip Minnesota.
- 30:04SPEAKER_30: What they think is working in their favor here is there's a state scandal there about Medicaid fraud.
- 30:09SPEAKER_30: Uh the governor Tim Walsh didn't run for re-election.
- 30:12SPEAKER_30: I think because of it, this is his lieutenant governor.
- 30:14SPEAKER_30: And Tefoya, the Republican, has been saying, look, if you're upset about that scandal, don't vote for the lieutenant governor.
- 30:20SPEAKER_30: There does seem to be a tide within the state that might be working against Democrats.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: It makes for an exciting election night for us, Steve.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: I know you'll be there with me.
- 30:28SPEAKER_05: Oh, yes, it does make for an exciting election night.
- 30:30SPEAKER_05: As a matter of fact, there's an article from the uh from the Hill.
- 30:33SPEAKER_05: Uh, Minnesota's open Senate race is unexpectedly competitive.
- 30:37SPEAKER_05: Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan holding the slim lead over Michelle Tefoya.
- 30:41SPEAKER_05: Flanagan faces challenges due to her association with the Walls administration, welfare fraud, and scrutiny over her personal background.
- 30:48SPEAKER_05: Not to mention she's just a bad candidate.
- 30:51SPEAKER_05: Has a horrible fashion sense, by the way, for what it's worth.
- 30:54SPEAKER_05: Uh, while the scandal uh is a liability for Flanagan, Tefoya also faces challenges due to President Trump's unpopularity, rising gas prices, uh, and the like.
- 31:03SPEAKER_05: Uh, joining us to further the discussion, the president of the Institute for Liberty, our weekly Monday guest and friend of the show, regulatory guru Andrew Langer.
- 31:12SPEAKER_05: Good morning, Andrew.
- 31:13SPEAKER_49: And fresh off my wife's uh med school reunion over the weekend, which was really.
- 31:18SPEAKER_49: How was that?
- 31:19SPEAKER_49: How much fun was?
- 31:20SPEAKER_49: You know, I don't know if I've ever talked to my wife went to the U.S.
- 31:23SPEAKER_49: military has a medical school uh in Bethesda, Maryland, on what used to be the Bethesda Naval Campus.
- 31:29SPEAKER_49: It's now uh Walter Reed North.
- 31:32SPEAKER_49: And her classmates, you know, a lot of them were prior service when they went to med school.
- 31:38SPEAKER_49: And a lot of guys have gone on, a lot of guys, a lot of people, um, have done some pretty they were they had done extraordinary things before uh med school and then, you know, to be at this at this med school, they'd gone on and done some extraordinary things afterwards.
- 31:52SPEAKER_49: We had we had a blast and had a blast just talking to, you know, one guy who was doing special operations work beforehand, uh, then went and wound up doing a lot of work with NASA or somebody else who's like the nation's infectious disease specialist.
- 32:09SPEAKER_49: Um it really, really just a fascinating weekend, a lot of laughs, a lot of fun uh across the board.
- 32:16SPEAKER_05: Uh you're uh the moment you you mentioned this for whatever, well, I mean for whatever reason, but uh movie quote popped into my head from Gross Point Blank when uh Joan Cusack is uh trying to convince her brother John Cusack in the film to go to his high school reunion.
- 32:31SPEAKER_05: She talks about going to hers, and she says it's as if everybody swelled.
- 32:36SPEAKER_05: Yes.
- 32:38SPEAKER_49: Yes, but we're now at a point where you you you you swell and then and then folks uh go go the other way.
- 32:44SPEAKER_49: You know, here's the scary thing, John, on that on that point.
- 32:47SPEAKER_49: Uh remember, Gross Point Blanc came out in 1996.
- 32:51SPEAKER_49: It was the 10-year reunion of the class of 86.
- 32:55SPEAKER_49: That would be the 40th reunion this year, which is really Oh my gosh.
- 32:59SPEAKER_49: Yeah, I know.
- 33:00SPEAKER_49: I I logged some time with because Gross Point Blank is one of those movies that's uh oh it's I actually I think it's on Amazon Prime now.
- 33:07SPEAKER_49: It's back on Prime.
- 33:08SPEAKER_49: We've also been logging a lot of movies on uh free YouTube.
- 33:11SPEAKER_49: But yeah, it it's it's like that just blows my mind that it was that they would be the the 40th anniversary union would have been this year.
- 33:19SPEAKER_05: We'll do a uh we'll we'll wipe out here for uh for just a moment because uh first off, let me just go ahead and put in the required control.
- 33:26SPEAKER_05: Yeah, but thank you because we're gonna go down this road.
- 33:29SPEAKER_05: So uh Gross Point Blank uh is near and dear to my heart because a huge portion of that film was uh filmed where I grew up in Southern California in the Monrovia area, where the where the radio station was was on a str was on a strip in Southern California in Monrovia.
- 33:49SPEAKER_05: And as a matter of fact, the restaurant that they go to, I think a couple times, that's right next door to where the radio station is in that movie.
- 33:56SPEAKER_05: Uh I went yeah, I went to a uh I went to a uh Depeche Mode uh convention uh at that particular restaurant back in the back in the 90s.
- 34:05SPEAKER_05: They hosted the event there.
- 34:06SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 34:07SPEAKER_49: Did you have the the the the uh the moon's over my hammy?
- 34:10SPEAKER_49: Not moon's over my hammy, what's uh I left my I left my heart in San Franchisi.
- 34:13SPEAKER_49: Sorry.
- 34:14SPEAKER_49: It's a great movie.
- 34:15SPEAKER_49: I love this movie.
- 34:17SPEAKER_49: Um yes, it's it's uh the Gatsby's West Egg Omelette.
- 34:22SPEAKER_49: It's not really an op if there's no protein in it.
- 34:24SPEAKER_49: Yeah.
- 34:25SPEAKER_05: It's too bad that, you know, so many like John Cusack went down the dark path.
- 34:29SPEAKER_05: Just as this radical lunatic.
- 34:32SPEAKER_05: I mean, so many of them are in Hollywood, but he is one of those individuals that and now it shows on his face.
- 34:36SPEAKER_05: If you've seen him, he's he's almost unrecognizable now.
- 34:39SPEAKER_05: He's looking more like Mickey Rourke than he does, you know, a sort of a childhood icon of uh of mine.
- 34:45SPEAKER_49: You know, it's funny, you you talk about these things, folks who become jerks.
- 34:48SPEAKER_49: So one of the stories that did come out is one of my wife's classmates was um uh, you know, again, prior service, he happened to be uh serving in North Africa, uh doing some work in North Africa, uh, where they were also filming Spies Like Us and got to meet uh Donna Dixon and Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase.
- 35:08SPEAKER_49: Uh and Chevy Chase basically ignored everybody, um uh but Donna Dixon and and Dan Aykroyd could not have been more charming.
- 35:15SPEAKER_49: So it was a film, yeah.
- 35:17SPEAKER_05: Especially towards the end, especially towards the end of that film with the uh with the the two women in their Russian snow.
- 35:22SPEAKER_05: Oh, yes.
- 35:23SPEAKER_05: We'll leave it, we'll leave it at that.
- 35:24SPEAKER_05: We'll just leave it at that.
- 35:26SPEAKER_05: Again, yeah.
- 35:26SPEAKER_05: All right.
- 35:28SPEAKER_05: So let's go, let's so let's go here.
- 35:29SPEAKER_05: Let's go here.
- 35:30SPEAKER_05: First off, uh, before we dive back into since we've kind of we've kind of deviated from where we were, we'll we'll get back to that in a moment.
- 35:35SPEAKER_05: I do want to go to something that you had uh that you had mentioned.
- 35:38SPEAKER_05: I was taking a look at uh Orrin Cass had put up uh this chart.
- 35:42SPEAKER_05: Uh good chart from this week's The Real Economy and its manufacturing employment versus a pre-tariff trend.
- 35:51SPEAKER_05: Uh the more uh interesting aspect of this is the uh ratio that this chart receives on X of the number of individuals that point out a uh a glaring uh part of this that impacts this particular chart.
- 36:04SPEAKER_05: But I know you wanted to talk about this.
- 36:07SPEAKER_49: Yes.
- 36:08SPEAKER_49: This would the the this is this is very true.
- 36:10SPEAKER_49: You know, Oren Cass, someone I didn't know uh before his involvement with uh the the the Trump economy, um, and Lord knows, listen, we're having lots of discussions about economic issues right now uh going into the midterm elections next week.
- 36:24SPEAKER_49: But it's just it's amazing to me, sort of the there's an adage, and maybe I'm guilty of this as well, right?
- 36:31SPEAKER_49: There's the adage when you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
- 36:34SPEAKER_49: And, you know, I I I deal with regulatory issues, I deal with permitting issues, and and it's one of these things where, you know, Orin Cass is trying to make this stunning remark that by making materials and goods more expensive, which is essentially part of this idea of reshoring, right?
- 36:52SPEAKER_49: And and and and the protectionist issues, you know, we're making goods that we import more expensive, uh, to make uh uh domestic produced goods uh more competitive.
- 37:03SPEAKER_49: What he fails to recognize is that in the first, you know, again, there were major disruptions to the tariff policy by the Supreme Court at the early part of this chart, but what is durable uh throughout this first year was the fact that the the administration cut hundreds of billions of dollars in regulatory costs and engaged in massive permitting reform.
- 37:27SPEAKER_49: And it's like, okay, when you cut the red tape that businesses have to follow, and listen, I'm not saying we should exist in a zero regulation environment, but when you when you make it easier for people to do business and you give them less tape in starting their business and setting their business up, it's not rocket science when you see that uh that uh more business formation happens, more things actually happen.
- 37:51SPEAKER_49: Uh, these are the two major barriers uh to this.
- 37:55SPEAKER_49: And it's what we've always said, right?
- 37:57SPEAKER_49: At the end of the day, um, you know, make it easier for US businesses to compete, uh, and we will do extraordinary things as our economy without having to engage in a bunch of protectionist measures.
- 38:11SPEAKER_49: So anyway, so that's you know, it's it's just I I sort of I looked at this and I've spent a lot of it it's funny when over the last couple of weeks, the number of times I've sort of looked at stuff that colleagues of mine are putting out, um, and I just look at them like, well, this this doesn't this doesn't make any any sense.
- 38:28SPEAKER_49: Um I'm about to uh working on an op-ed today about something having to do with healthcare in that regard.
- 38:33SPEAKER_49: Um but yeah, so so that's that's the that's the Oregon cast situation.
- 38:38SPEAKER_49: It's again.
- 38:38SPEAKER_05: Well, this this this chart the one thing I wanted to mention was first off, you know, why put yourself in a position where you're gonna receive appropriate criticism for trying to, you know, make a claim that, you know, manufacturing employment, you know, had had dipped but then increased when the reality was that tariffs, you know, have been struck down by the Supreme Court.
- 38:57SPEAKER_05: Uh it just seems like a really a rookie stupid move.
- 39:00SPEAKER_05: I mean, if somebody was going to let's say this somebody was gonna criticize uh the tariffs and they were gonna use this this poll going the other direction, right?
- 39:08SPEAKER_05: Saying to criticize the Trump administration, you know, you could go and craft an argument.
- 39:12SPEAKER_05: I'm not saying that it's the right argument, but you could go and craft an argument and say, well, you know, yes, the Supreme Court struck the tariffs down.
- 39:19SPEAKER_05: We saw an increase when it came to manufacturing employment, but it also shows that we didn't have a chance to see our tariff plan fully implemented through, and we believe that the outcome would have been beneficial in the future.
- 39:30SPEAKER_05: That's how you could have angled it going the other way, but in instead you go and set yourself up for people to come and just completely dismiss, you know, the your your claim outright.
- 39:40SPEAKER_05: It just seems like a really dumb thing to do.
- 39:42SPEAKER_49: That's that's just it.
- 39:42SPEAKER_49: And I think some of this has to do with echo chambers, you know, when you are surrounding yours.
- 39:46SPEAKER_49: It is so important.
- 39:48SPEAKER_49: It is vital for you, if you're doing policy, uh, to have people who are going to challenge your assumptions um and who are going to tell you, you know, or maybe, maybe you're sort of off the rails a little a little bit there.
- 40:01SPEAKER_49: But when you exist in an echo chamber, right, but you know something, to pull it out to politics, you know, this is why when you have democratic politicians who have risen to success uh in purely democratic environments, and then they sort of step out there on the on the on the the nationwide stage and they're shocked when they you know they have a failure to launch.
- 40:24SPEAKER_49: It's like, yeah, when you have never been challenged, when you've been coddled, um, you know, it doesn't it doesn't uh set you up for success.
- 40:32SPEAKER_49: So, you know, that's my my suspicion here is that there was sort of this um uh myopia.
- 40:39SPEAKER_49: Uh and I apologize if you can hear my my puppy in the background.
- 40:42SPEAKER_49: He's he's he's barking a little bit.
- 40:44SPEAKER_05: Oh, we're a very dog-friendly show here.
- 40:46SPEAKER_05: We had a at American Experiment.
- 40:47SPEAKER_05: So all right, so let's get back to this Hill piece just briefly.
- 40:50SPEAKER_05: Uh you know, it it centers on something we've been talking about on the show.
- 40:53SPEAKER_05: Of course, it's a centerpiece, talking about Minnesota elections.
- 40:56SPEAKER_05: The blue wave might miss Minnesota's Senate race if you're assuming there's going to be a blue wave um across the country.
- 41:02SPEAKER_05: But it got me thinking beyond that, though, and that is one, you know, a lack of faith and trust in polls to begin with, okay.
- 41:09SPEAKER_05: Uh that's already exists before you get into um the the recent controversies regarding this polling firm uh that straight up was manipulating the polls that were being combined with other national media outlets.
- 41:22SPEAKER_05: There was another facet to that where another polling firm was essentially caught doing the same thing.
- 41:28SPEAKER_05: And when they went to go and to try to get confirmation, they had shut their whole website down.
- 41:33SPEAKER_05: That's right.
- 41:33SPEAKER_49: And and said these weren't really polls, these were just sort of uh experiments that were out there, which is like, okay, I guess aren't all polls experiments I get out in in data collection.
- 41:44SPEAKER_05: Um So you take a s you take a snapshot of this of a you know of a week from tomorrow, and you know, you've got the gas prices, affordability issue on the Trump side of things, the war in Iran, you've got Trump's, you know, favorability, unfavorable numbers aren't great.
- 41:59SPEAKER_05: Um you know, you would think that the GOP uh was going to get you know completely shellacked.
- 42:07SPEAKER_05: Uh but at the same time, the Democrats have done themselves no favors whatsoever in capitalizing on this by going and uh you know embracing Democrat uh socialists.
- 42:18SPEAKER_05: You know, does, you know, how much of this even matters uh, you know, in terms of when we're trying to predict what takes place uh next uh next week, if not for, you know, Trump and and the fact that you know it's favoring uh Republicans next week.
- 42:33SPEAKER_05: Uh does it even doesn't even matter?
- 42:35SPEAKER_05: Did any of these narratives even matter when it comes to elections?
- 42:37SPEAKER_49: Well they they do.
- 42:38SPEAKER_49: I mean, listen, here's here's the here's the let's let's sort of set the the the foundation first, which is historic trends matter, um, and historically the president's party loses seats during uh a midterm election.
- 42:51SPEAKER_49: Yeah, that's that's that's true.
- 42:53SPEAKER_49: Um and it is true that the uh uh Iraq war has caused the a spike in gas prices um that everybody sees when they go to the pump.
- 43:06SPEAKER_49: Uh now, how much that plays into all of this, that's a whole other question, right?
- 43:12SPEAKER_49: So so that gets into what you're talking about here.
- 43:14SPEAKER_49: Because at the end of the day, all elections are essentially binary choices.
- 43:20SPEAKER_49: You're choosing between person A and person B, which is why, by the way, what's happening up in Alaska with the two candidates having the same name, that's part of the reason why we're, you know, the folks are taking a look at this, right?
- 43:32SPEAKER_49: That is something quite literally, folks, out of the plot of the Eddie Murphy movie, The Distinguished Gentleman.
- 43:38SPEAKER_49: He he runs because he has the same name of the the congressman who died and and is able to get elected because of that.
- 43:46SPEAKER_49: Um somebody Well, this is all new.
- 43:48SPEAKER_05: So I I I don't even know this.
- 43:49SPEAKER_05: What is this?
- 43:50SPEAKER_05: I believe this is the first I've heard of this story.
- 43:52SPEAKER_05: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 43:53SPEAKER_49: There's a guy there.
- 43:53SPEAKER_49: I think there are two Dan Sullivan's running for uh Senate in Alaska.
- 43:57SPEAKER_49: It's part of the reason why the DOJ is looking into.
- 44:00SPEAKER_49: What's going on up there?
- 44:01SPEAKER_49: And one guy is clearly running as a spoiler candidate, you know, trying to capitalize on the other guy's name.
- 44:08SPEAKER_49: Now you can you can sort of have a discussion as to whether or not that's right or fair.
- 44:11SPEAKER_49: The point is, again, it is out of the plot of an Eddie Murphy movie.
- 44:16SPEAKER_49: Um but my point at the end of the day is in Texas, um, yes, it's gonna come down to anger and enthusiasm, but it's also gonna come down to how the average voter feels about these two candidates down there.
- 44:29SPEAKER_49: Uh are they gonna go with the guy who is a bit of a jerk and uh has allegations of corruption, or are they gonna go after the guy who comes across as slicky boy uh crazy town with, you know, his ideas?
- 44:42SPEAKER_49: Um that's gonna happen there.
- 44:44SPEAKER_49: In Minnesota, it's gonna, you know, is it is it the the woman who dresses bad uh um and and has the party plagued with scandal, or the person who's uh uh you know attached herself to Donald Trump or or Donald Trump is attached himself to.
- 44:58SPEAKER_49: So these are these are the factors that that that'll that'll play into it.
- 45:02SPEAKER_49: Ultimately it'll come down to those things.
- 45:04SPEAKER_49: Um, you know, North Carolina is a is a prime example, right?
- 45:07SPEAKER_49: This should have been a year in which Republicans could have done really well in the North Carolina U.S.
- 45:13SPEAKER_49: Senate race.
- 45:14SPEAKER_49: Um, but Roy Cooper is a has a has you know virtual 100% household name ID.
- 45:20SPEAKER_49: Um and my my buddy, and I've uh he is a friend, um legitimate friend, like not someone who just you know you just sort of go out there and and sort of spot off, oh he's my friend.
- 45:30SPEAKER_49: No, you know, I've known Michael Watley for 25 years.
- 45:33SPEAKER_49: You know, Michael uh has spent time building up uh uh building up a structure, um, but he doesn't have the same name ID that that uh that Cooper does.
- 45:42SPEAKER_49: Um so yeah, so I mean it it's it comes down to these these kinds of things at the end of the day.
- 45:49SPEAKER_49: Um and then how much encouraging or discouraging the major media can do, right?
- 45:54SPEAKER_49: You know, that's why I I tend to discount polls that say, um, you know, I I I I see a story that says Minnesota could miss the blue wave or the blue wave could miss Minnesota, and I immediately think, oh, well, this is to make sure the Democratic voters get out to vote, you know, uh against against uh the the Trump supporter uh in in the Senate, right?
- 46:15SPEAKER_49: That's that's what I that's what I think.
- 46:18SPEAKER_05: Well, and and and listen, the the the reality is let's just say that Trump hadn't gone to war with Iran and that gas prices were stable and there were no missteps, or however you want to describe it when it comes to Republicans of the Trump administration.
- 46:33SPEAKER_05: I guarantee you the commentary that you would be hearing from the Democrats would be no different than what the commentary is now from David.
- 46:39SPEAKER_49: It would be it would be it would be Trump's corrupt, Trump's corrupt, it would be about Trump naming all of these things after himself.
- 46:46SPEAKER_49: You know, it would be all of the it would be everything else.
- 46:49SPEAKER_49: It it it right.
- 46:50SPEAKER_49: This gets back to what we've talked about.
- 46:52SPEAKER_49: We talked about in the first term, the wheel of Trump.
- 46:54SPEAKER_49: Every you spin the wheel and every week a different thing pops up.
- 46:57SPEAKER_49: Um, you know, so they would be they would be focused on Trump impeachment part how many times, what is this, part three, part four?
- 47:06SPEAKER_49: How many times was Trump impeached in the first term?
- 47:08SPEAKER_49: Um So they would be they would be focusing on that, which they're focusing on in other in other places, um, but they have this, you know, largely unpopular war um um and the gas price issue.
- 47:21SPEAKER_49: And and you know, again, uh like I saw a story today that popped up.
- 47:25SPEAKER_49: Uh inflation is half of what it was under Joe Biden.
- 47:29SPEAKER_49: Yes, that may be true, but we have to explain that to people.
- 47:34SPEAKER_49: Like I can talk about why when you adjust for inflation, um uh gas prices now are lower than they were under Joe Biden, right?
- 47:44SPEAKER_49: When Joe Biden, you just have to adjust for inflation.
- 47:46SPEAKER_49: It's just a different thing.
- 47:48SPEAKER_49: But as the old adage goes, if you're explaining, you're losing.
- 47:52SPEAKER_49: And unfortunately, we uh we have to explain a lot of these things.
- 47:56SPEAKER_05: Well, and what doesn't get discussed very often, uh I mean you mentioned it a moment ago, we've talked about it on the show, you know, turnout, turnout, turnout, turnout is is is what's gonna make the difference.
- 48:06SPEAKER_05: And the reason is is because I was thinking about this on the drive-in, um, just sort of going in my mind, you know, previewing the conversation you and I were gonna have.
- 48:13SPEAKER_05: And just take the gas prices, for instance.
- 48:16SPEAKER_05: Um, you know, somebody that's at the pump that say that they're uh they're a Republican, they don't like the gas prices, they don't like the fact that there's a war with Iran.
- 48:25SPEAKER_05: You know, is that individual really going to go and start voting for Democrats?
- 48:30SPEAKER_05: Or are they simply just gonna are they just gonna sit out?
- 48:32SPEAKER_05: Right, that's exactly right.
- 48:33SPEAKER_05: I was gonna say, I just I can't, you know, I I can't support what's going on even though I can't vote.
- 48:37SPEAKER_05: Again, the Democrats have not done anything in my mind to encourage any Republicans to go and vote for them.
- 48:44SPEAKER_05: And so that's the choice that Republicans have to make.
- 48:47SPEAKER_49: This is where we are.
- 48:48SPEAKER_49: It's it's we are unfortunately, and as someone who who can who loves getting inspired by people, you know, I like candidates that I can go out and vote for.
- 48:58SPEAKER_49: Um, but we're now in an environment where two things are going on.
- 49:01SPEAKER_49: It's about making sure, you know, whichever candidate messes up less, that's the candidate that wins.
- 49:07SPEAKER_49: And making sure that your side is pumped up and the other side is depressed, um, that's how that's how you win elections, which is like, you know, it's it's funny.
- 49:17SPEAKER_49: Um many, many years ago, I had um I've had this idea about introducing different kinds of candidates to the American people, basically doing like an American idol style show, but for politics.
- 49:29SPEAKER_49: I've talked about with you about this before.
- 49:30SPEAKER_49: And I was talking about it with a politico, and he's like, well, you know, that doesn't work because you're just voting against people, you know, in order to, in order to win.
- 49:38SPEAKER_49: And I'm thinking, well, how is that any different than major politics now?
- 49:42SPEAKER_49: I mean, it's like, I just want to get more voices out there.
- 49:45SPEAKER_49: Uh I want I want I want people to have the experience that I had when I read David Bose's Libertarianism a primer in the in the mid-90s.
- 49:53SPEAKER_49: I'm like, oh my God, that's I I agree with that.
- 49:56SPEAKER_49: You know, not that I'm a pure L small L libertarian anymore, but you know, nevertheless, you know, that was at the time.
- 50:03SPEAKER_49: You do you see, you want to see people and you want to hear them say something and you want them to be able to say, yeah, you know something?
- 50:08SPEAKER_49: I agree with, I agree with that.
- 50:12SPEAKER_05: Well, and then, and we'll wrap on this, you bring it back to to Minnesota, and you know, based off of our commentary, you would think, well, here in Minnesota, it should be it, you know, it it could be, and there are arguments that it would be a decisive GOP victory in statewide races, regardless of the fact that uh it's been decades since the Republicans have pulled that off when you look at the dynamics on the ground, except for the fact that here in Minnesota we have an active uh media apparatus that is every day, every hour, every minute in the tank for the DFL.
- 50:45SPEAKER_05: So, how much of what is plaguing the city is actually reaching enough voters to to encourage turnout uh either way, which is why it's still a big question mark.
- 50:54SPEAKER_49: We talk about the media manipulation, right?
- 50:56SPEAKER_49: And what they want at the end of the day is the story that, you know, despite despite the this was a referendum and the public doesn't care about corruption in government.
- 51:06SPEAKER_49: They don't care about this story because they can sort of right, because also, by the way, that underscores the massive failure of the the DFL-owned media in Minnesota that none of them picked up on, or very few of them picked up on this story.
- 51:19SPEAKER_49: But then, uh, you know, the day after the election day, when the the trends have been as they always have, you know, Republicans were not quite able to eke out a victory, and I'm not saying that that's what's gonna happen.
- 51:30SPEAKER_49: They can then turn around and pat themselves on the back and say, and and say the story that the the DFL lives to fight another day.
- 51:39SPEAKER_05: Andrew Langer, we'll wrap on this since we talked of movies at the first part of our conversation.
- 51:43SPEAKER_05: We'll uh we'll end talking movies a bit.
- 51:44SPEAKER_05: So Melinda and I have been uh we've been watching nothing but Halloween uh films all all the month of October, right?
- 51:52SPEAKER_05: Um so we we decided to do uh to do a rewatch of all three of the poltergeist movies.
- 51:58SPEAKER_05: And uh I'll tell you what, the list of movies that I never, ever, ever, ever need to see again is growing every single weekend.
- 52:07SPEAKER_05: Yeah, like Poltergeist 2 was it was okay.
- 52:10SPEAKER_05: I was like, that was a solid entry, it had some good moments in it.
- 52:12SPEAKER_05: Poltergeist III, oh my gosh, what a steaming pile of garbage that movie was.
- 52:16SPEAKER_05: Go in so bad.
- 52:17SPEAKER_49: If you haven't heard, I and I know he's a lefty, but he, you know, Sharon Alma mater, William and Mary, I will love him till the day I die.
- 52:24SPEAKER_49: Patton Oswald has a great thing about uh watching the original Halloween with his daughter and the stuff that freaked him out as a kid, as a teenager, she is just completely not phased by and just is making fun of.
- 52:37SPEAKER_49: Yeah, that that it it's it's all good.
- 52:39SPEAKER_49: Listen, folks, it we are at the end of uh of uh national IP month, intellectual property protection month, uh, and I've got an interview today, comes out later on today with Andre Yanku, who is the head of the Patent and Trademark Office, uh, former head of the Patent and Trademark Office under uh uh President Trump's first term.
- 52:57SPEAKER_49: It's a really fun interview just talking about listen, why innovation is important, why ideas are important, and why protecting ideas are important.
- 53:05SPEAKER_49: So go and check that out.
- 53:06SPEAKER_49: If you're not following me at Andrew underscore langer on X, please do so.
- 53:11SPEAKER_05: Andrew Langer, great talking with you.
- 53:13SPEAKER_05: We'll do it one more time before election day on uh Monday next week.
- 53:16SPEAKER_05: I hope you have a fantastic one and really enjoyed the conversation today, buddy.
- 53:20SPEAKER_05: All right, man.
- 53:20SPEAKER_05: Talk to you later.
- 53:21SPEAKER_05: Bye.
- 53:22SPEAKER_05: 651-964-0294.
- 53:26SPEAKER_05: That is the number for the blaster line.
- 53:27SPEAKER_05: We'll get back to uh more of your thoughts here in uh just a moment.

- 54:38SPEAKER_25: Hey, John, Jerry Rosemau here.
- 54:40SPEAKER_25: I know it's not Freedom Friday, but something came to mind.
- 54:44SPEAKER_25: They keep talking about this blue wave, and the Republicans might be able to force that somehow and make it a red wave.
- 54:52SPEAKER_25: Anything is possible.
- 54:54SPEAKER_25: I mean, look at the Vikings record right now.
- 54:57SPEAKER_25: They're the only undefeated team in the league.
- 55:01SPEAKER_25: So anything can happen in Minnesota.
- 55:04SPEAKER_25: Have a good one.
- 55:05SPEAKER_05: Yeah, listen, the takeaway is just get out and vote.
- 55:07SPEAKER_05: I don't care who I it doesn't, you know, just regardless of who you're polling for, you just need to get out and and vote.
- 55:14SPEAKER_05: Um, I'm paying less attention to the polls this time around than I ever have.
- 55:18SPEAKER_05: I'm doing it enough so I can provide some commentary for you.
- 55:21SPEAKER_05: I don't want to completely go and shrug off my responsibility as a talk show host.
- 55:25SPEAKER_05: But that being said, I just don't put a lot of stock in it right now.
- 55:28SPEAKER_05: Listen, case in point, let me uh let me play for you this clip.
- 55:32SPEAKER_05: So, Robert Reich, right?
- 55:34SPEAKER_05: Individual, long in politics, connections to Bill Clinton, to uh former president Barack Obama.
- 55:42SPEAKER_05: When you hear Robert Reich, you know, ears perk up and people tend to listen to him, especially on the left.
- 55:47SPEAKER_05: So this is a from two different ears.
- 55:51SPEAKER_05: Okay, back-to-back clips here.
- 55:53SPEAKER_05: In one clip, he's talking about Trump as a fascist dictator for even suggesting that a company be taken over by the government and for telling a CEO what to do.
- 56:02SPEAKER_05: And then in the most recent clip, you have the same individual, Robert Reich, talking about Space Act and Starlink and having them taken over by the government.
- 56:10SPEAKER_45: Donald Trump has put himself in the position of dictator of the United States.
- 56:16SPEAKER_45: Nippon Steel, he says, originally like Joe Biden, no, you can't take over U.S.
- 56:21SPEAKER_45: Steel, and then he's president.
- 56:22SPEAKER_45: He says, Oh, yes, you can take over U.S.
- 56:24SPEAKER_45: steel.
- 56:25SPEAKER_45: He's taken Intel, the president of Intel, and he's taken and he said, You can no longer be president of Intel.
- 56:31SPEAKER_45: He's now negotiating with Intel about whether its CEO can stay as CEO.
- 56:36SPEAKER_45: There's no free market.
- 56:37SPEAKER_45: There's not even a there's but again, it's not even socialism.
- 56:40SPEAKER_45: It's not communism.
- 56:41SPEAKER_45: It is fascist capitalism.
- 56:44SPEAKER_45: If we have a democratic administration, and and the Democrats ought to be starting this, not just with oversight hearings, but also starting laying the groundwork for nationalizing Starlink and and SpaceX.
- 56:57SPEAKER_45: Nationalize it.
- 56:58SPEAKER_45: It should be a public corporation.
- 57:00SPEAKER_45: Musk represents the power of oligarchy in America over democracy.
- 57:08SPEAKER_05: Those were two different clips back to back, and you almost couldn't even tell when the switch was made.
- 57:14SPEAKER_05: But you have just last year, you had Robert Reich talking about Trump being a fascist dictator for even suggesting that a company take over to be taken over by the government, and then just this week he's talking about how the government should go and take over Starlink.
- 57:29SPEAKER_05: You just you cannot trust any of these individuals.
- 57:34SPEAKER_05: They're all agenda-driven.
- 57:36SPEAKER_05: Fair and balanced without the window.
- 57:38SPEAKER_05: I don't even know.
- 57:39SPEAKER_05: Does Fox even use that terminology anymore?
- 57:41SPEAKER_05: This isn't me pushing back on Fox News.
- 57:43SPEAKER_05: It is just to say that this is something that is just non-existent now.
- 57:47SPEAKER_05: Everything is gamed for various reasons.
- 57:51SPEAKER_05: How do you solve that problem?
- 57:52SPEAKER_05: You simply, like I said, you get out and vote.
- 57:54SPEAKER_42: Good morning, John.
- 57:55SPEAKER_42: Friend of the show.
- 57:57SPEAKER_42: Um calling watching 50 minutes last night in regards to Elon Omar.
- 58:02SPEAKER_42: They had a story on immigrant immigrant things recorded and they're going to Ghana.
- 58:12SPEAKER_42: And then Ghana is sending them into multiple countries within Africa.
- 58:18SPEAKER_42: It's kind of interesting that they put that show on.
- 58:21SPEAKER_42: The exact same time that Alana Omar is having her troubles with the potential of deportation.
- 58:28SPEAKER_42: Have a great day.
- 58:29SPEAKER_05: Oh, I don't think for a second that that was just coincidence at all.
- 58:33SPEAKER_05: It's kind of like uh not so much anymore.
- 58:36SPEAKER_05: Uh, you still kind you still do see it, but I remember having DirecTV, and if there was a major news event going on and there was some you know, popular film or franchise that would align itself with that major event going on, right?
- 58:48SPEAKER_05: You would see all those movies running.
- 58:50SPEAKER_05: Or when you saw like a new Jurassic Park movie ended up in the theater, and suddenly now all of the uh the movie channels are now running former Jurassic Park films.
- 58:58SPEAKER_05: They do it uh all the uh all the time.
- 59:00SPEAKER_05: So that doesn't surprise me in the in the least bit.
- 59:03SPEAKER_05: Listen, all of the news of the day is enough to make you want to pull your hair out.
- 59:07SPEAKER_05: It's becoming increasingly difficult to just get a good night's sleep.

- 1:00:41SPEAKER_05: The inspiration for Center of the American Experiment's annual Golden Turkey Award started years ago in D.C.
- 1:00:47SPEAKER_05: when the Pentagon paid hundreds of dollars to a defense contractor for a simple hammer sold for six bucks at a local hardware store.
- 1:00:55SPEAKER_05: When it's our money, waste is waste.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_05: Past winners, you had the Southwest Light Rail got a lifetime achievement award in 2022.
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_05: Perfect example of the sunk cost of fallacy.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_05: Also, more recently in 2023, the$700 million New State Office Building in 24, the millions that were wasted on the new state flag and seal and the changeover here in Minnesota.
- 1:01:19SPEAKER_05: And then last year, Governor Jim Walls and his$430,000 legal bill.

- 1:01:30SPEAKER_05: So head on over to GoldenTurkeymn.com.
- 1:01:34SPEAKER_05: That's GoldenTurkeymn.com or AmericanExperiment.org and get your nominees in for this year's Golden Turkey Award.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_21: So based on the financial statements, uh Gilhan has a net worth of only a couple hundred thousand on the outside.
- 1:01:53SPEAKER_21: How is she able to afford all these high-powered lawyers?
- 1:01:58SPEAKER_21: I mean, because your net worth also includes assets.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_21: So according to her, she's broke.
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_21: So somebody's lying.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_05: Oh, I think we know who is.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_05: She's got plenty of money.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_05: Now, where that money is located is the big question, but she has plenty of money.
- 1:02:13SPEAKER_05: Let's get into the latest.
- 1:02:15SPEAKER_05: So, a Somali rap song that Representative Ilhan Omar, whose real name is Ilhar Noor Syed Elmi, according to the Department of Justice, was set as background music in the video of a lakeside stroll that threatens to punish, humiliate, and subjugate the singer's enemies, according to the English translation of the song.
- 1:02:39SPEAKER_05: So this completely staged 27-second clip.
- 1:02:43SPEAKER_05: Omar posted this days after the feds raided her Washington, D.C.
- 1:02:46SPEAKER_05: home.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_05: I think this came uh the same day that uh she went to go and vote as well.
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_05: Um it shows her walking along a Minnesota lake with her husband Tim Minette.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_05: The caption reads, less scrolling, more strolling, enjoying our beautiful Minnesota lakes.
- 1:03:04SPEAKER_05: If you haven't seen the video, it is uh the epitome of ridiculous.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_05: When you you you've gotta you've gotta reverse engineer it.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_05: Because it is it's staged as if this was a very sort of natural thing, as if somebody had just happened to wander up on Ilhan Omar and her shocking declaration of love, Tim Minette, of which we're gonna get back into that, by the way.
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_05: There's been uh a few individuals who have gone back through the timeline of Tim Minett abandoning his family to uh make his shocking declaration of love and then get married to Ilhan Omar.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_05: But the video is such where you think that, oh, look at this lovely couple.
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_05: They're all they they look like they just walked out of a J.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_05: Crew catalog.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_05: Is J.
- 1:03:50SPEAKER_05: Crew still a thing, by the way?
- 1:03:51SPEAKER_05: That's his only thing I can.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_05: J.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_05: Peterman catalog, maybe I'll go with that route instead.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_05: They look like they just stepped off the page of a J.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_05: Peterman catalog.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_05: And they're they're on this, they're they're on this dock, right?
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_05: Out over the water in a really nice setting.
- 1:04:07SPEAKER_05: And then they they're they're they're kind of chatting, and then they get up and they walk towards the camera and they walk past the camera, right?
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_05: Well, somebody had to go and shoot that.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_05: This wasn't like a random individual that just caught this video and threw it up online.
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_05: And then on top of it, they end up tossing this song by a Somali rapper.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_05: The soundtrack by the Somali rapper.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_05: I'm not even gonna attempt to pronounce this dude's name.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_05: The first verse includes a warning that anyone the narrator confronts will be suffering and screaming by nightfall, according to the English translation commissioned by the Washington Free Beacon.
- 1:04:43SPEAKER_05: The Almighty has given me strength.
- 1:04:45SPEAKER_05: If I confront you in the afternoon, by evening, I will teach you a lesson and keep you awake throughout the night.
- 1:04:51SPEAKER_05: This is the English translation of the lyrics.
- 1:04:54SPEAKER_05: Yes, you will suffer and cry in seething.
- 1:04:57SPEAKER_05: You will scream like a demon.
- 1:04:59SPEAKER_05: After all, you are not Arabs, so swallow your anger and chew on it.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_05: The lyrics go on to say.
- 1:05:07SPEAKER_05: A light a latter verse brags about throwing people into a well and imposing taxes on enemies.
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_05: The song uh closes with a vow to punish, dominate, and shame them.
- 1:05:17SPEAKER_05: Let me show you who I am, hey, hey.
- 1:05:20SPEAKER_05: No enemy dares to threaten me wherever I set foot.
- 1:05:23SPEAKER_05: He runs away.
- 1:05:24SPEAKER_05: Yes, he runs away.
- 1:05:27SPEAKER_05: Listen, to use that song, regardless of the lyrics, is the most obvious troll imaginable.
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_05: You have hundreds of top 40 hits to go and choose from.
- 1:05:41SPEAKER_05: And this is what you roll with?
- 1:05:43SPEAKER_05: No.
- 1:05:43SPEAKER_05: Again, complete fabrication, not even trying to hide it, just to throw it up in everybody's faces.
- 1:05:49SPEAKER_05: And this again is all about what happens next.
- 1:05:54SPEAKER_05: This is not about Ilhan Omar being able to skirt the allegations.
- 1:05:59SPEAKER_05: This is not about About Ilhan Omar being able to mount any sort of credible defense when the indictments come down and what the case ends up entailing moving forward.
- 1:06:10SPEAKER_05: This is all about what happens to Ilan Omar on the backside when she's no longer a member of Congress.
- 1:06:17SPEAKER_05: Now, only because a lot of you are requesting it via the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_05: Many people are suggesting that this would have been a much, much better choice of music to put behind this ridiculously staged piece of political theater with Ilhan Omar and Tim Manette, her husband.
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_11: Hi, everyone, Ilhan here.
- 1:06:48SPEAKER_11: I just wanted to say thank you so much for the support.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_11: To everyone who sent five, ten, and twenty dollars, it goes a long way.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_11: As we fight Trump and his administration.
- 1:07:06SPEAKER_11: I hope I can stay.
- 1:08:40SPEAKER_11: An Ill Hun's native land.
- 1:08:43SPEAKER_11: And an end of her activism is close at hand.
- 1:08:48SPEAKER_11: Did she marry her brother?
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_11: That remains to be seen.
- 1:08:53SPEAKER_11: But as wine runs dry, it's time to come clean.
- 1:08:58SPEAKER_11: She's got the ill hand blues and bags to be packed.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_11: She faked her citizenship, she may never come back.
- 1:09:11SPEAKER_11: Hi everyone, Ilan here.
- 1:09:14SPEAKER_11: I just wanted to say for everyone who sent five, ten, and twenty dollars, that goes a long way.
- 1:09:22SPEAKER_11: As we fight Trump and his administration.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_13: I hope I can stay.
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_14: That stage event with Ilan Homer and her husband reminds me of that then President Clinton and Hillary walking hand in hand on a beach in the middle of his Monica Lewinsky scandal.
- 1:09:57SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it was pretty uh pretty ridiculous.
- 1:10:00SPEAKER_05: Also, not a good look.
- 1:10:03SPEAKER_05: As Ilhan Omar moved to delete a 2013 social media post over the weekend, referring her father, Noor Saeed, whose name matches that of her ex-husband, Ahmed Noor, said Elmy.
- 1:10:17SPEAKER_05: Critics allege that Omar married Elmy, her brother, to obtain a green card for him.
- 1:10:22SPEAKER_05: And we'll get into as a bit of a recap all of the allegations so far, courtesy of uh Alpha News.
- 1:10:27SPEAKER_05: Omar, of course, denies the allegations, asserting her name has always been Ilhan Omar, criticizing the Department of Justice.
- 1:10:33SPEAKER_05: But if that's the case, why go and delete those that social media?
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_05: It's all out there already.
- 1:10:41SPEAKER_05: Again, it is all a setup for what comes next.
- 1:10:45SPEAKER_05: You get rid of the original source material, and you've got a better opportunity to go and spin the narrative.
- 1:10:52SPEAKER_05: They're not adverse to lying.
- 1:10:53SPEAKER_05: They've made it an art.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_05: It's part of their religion for crying out loud to lie.
- 1:10:58SPEAKER_05: And so if it no longer is in existence online, then there's plenty of opportunity for individuals to dismiss it as being nothing more than propaganda or things that people made up, even though this information and those posts have been out there since they were first posted and shared by other individuals, like who we'll talk about with Scott Johnson when he joins us coming up at uh 8 30 uh this morning.
- 1:11:19SPEAKER_05: Over the weekend, uh acting deputy attorney general uh responded to the name controversy on Fox News.
- 1:11:26SPEAKER_05: Here is what he had to assume.
- 1:11:34SPEAKER_31: The fact that if you were focusing on this, is it more important to focus on the actual name or not name, or is it the dates that might be associated with passports and other identification?
- 1:11:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's probably all the above, uh just to you know not to reveal too much, but there's a there's a web of information here, and we're gonna follow the facts uh where they may lead, as we always do with our investigations.
- 1:11:58SPEAKER_02: I think that there are probably more that could be revealed at a later point, but I don't want to get ahead of our investigators on it.
- 1:12:04SPEAKER_05: Yeah, and when we get into the to the list of things that she is facing, I I said this last week.
- 1:12:10SPEAKER_05: Um, you know, it could be one or it could be all of these different items.
- 1:12:16SPEAKER_05: You know, you have you have the um acting assistant AG there talking about a web of information.
- 1:12:24SPEAKER_05: I think what he's referring to is that baseline that we've discussed of if she faked her identity from the get-go in order to get citizenship, then first off, all moves made after that in her meteoric rise to Congress get called into question.
- 1:12:43SPEAKER_05: The number of different things that she could be charged with because she went and signed off with a fake name.
- 1:12:51SPEAKER_05: But then on top of that, you have all the other allegations before we even got to the fake name controversy when the raid first took place.
- 1:12:59SPEAKER_05: Trump over the weekend at a campaign event had uh this to say regarding Ilhan Omar.
- 1:13:12SPEAKER_27: That the Democrat Party has just conceded her seat.
- 1:13:16SPEAKER_27: Ilhan Nur Saeed Elmi, her real name, has openly admitted to fraud, and she will not be legally allowed to be a member of this August body.
- 1:13:31SPEAKER_05: All right, before we get into the breakdown of the latest regarding the investigation and more of your thoughts from the blaster line this morning at 651-964-0294.
- 1:13:42SPEAKER_05: I want you to make the call today.
- 1:13:44SPEAKER_05: If you are on medication and you're overweight and you're tired all the time, you're thinking, man, I would love to drop the weight, I'd love to get healthy, but I've gone through the yo-yo dieting in the past and nothing has worked.
- 1:13:55SPEAKER_05: You have to try the all-natural 40-day program from NeutralWave.
- 1:13:58SPEAKER_05: It is a truly incredible, smarter approach to weight loss.
- 1:14:03SPEAKER_05: Because your body is telling you a story that the scale's not going to be able to give you the details on.
- 1:14:09SPEAKER_05: The good news is Dr.
- 1:14:10SPEAKER_05: Bob at the Neutral Wave program in Edyna, he can give you the details that you need to effectively go and target the body fat, lose the weight, and keep the weight off for good.

- 1:14:31SPEAKER_05: And with this program, you get to eat real food that you want to eat.
- 1:14:34SPEAKER_05: Food that has one ingredient, it's called food.
- 1:14:40SPEAKER_05: You end up changing your eating habits through the course of the program.
- 1:14:43SPEAKER_05: I certainly have.
- 1:14:43SPEAKER_05: Listen, I love food.
- 1:14:44SPEAKER_05: That's my wife.
- 1:14:45SPEAKER_05: Okay, I still love food, but I have much, much better, um, a much better ability to control my portion sizes and to know what's healthy and what's not healthy.
- 1:14:56SPEAKER_05: And as a matter of fact, my diet's actually completely changed because there's foods that I enjoy now that I never enjoyed before that help me keep the weight off.
- 1:15:04SPEAKER_05: I'm not the only one.
- 1:15:05SPEAKER_05: We're talking about some 31,000 people over 13 years have found the answer to their weight loss problems with this.
- 1:15:11SPEAKER_05: And with losing that weight comes more energy.
- 1:15:14SPEAKER_05: You just feel better about yourself and you sleep better as well.

- 1:15:30SPEAKER_05: Tell them that John Justice sent you neutral wave and you dina.
- 1:15:33SPEAKER_05: No pills, no shots.
- 1:15:34SPEAKER_05: There's nothing else like it.
- 1:15:35SPEAKER_23: Responsible spending and open communication.
- 1:15:38SPEAKER_23: That's conservative common sense in action.
- 1:15:41SPEAKER_23: Rick Storley, Lisa Atkinson, and Amy Witt are running for Prior Lake Savage Area School Board to deliver true fiscal stewardship and accountability.
- 1:15:50SPEAKER_23: They'll ensure your tax dollars go straight to the classroom with clear goals and honest reporting every step of the way.
- 1:15:57SPEAKER_23: Oh, and Storley.
- 1:15:58SPEAKER_38: Atkinson and Witt.
- 1:15:59SPEAKER_23: On November 3rd, to put Common Sense back in charge.
- 1:16:03SPEAKER_23: Learn more at sawthenead.com.
- 1:16:05SPEAKER_23: Paid for by campaign funds for Storly4PLSAS, Lisa Atkinson for School Board, and the committee to elect Amy Witt for School Board.
- 1:16:14SPEAKER_51: Hello, this is Joe Scott, and I'm still the only conservative on the Eastern Carver County School Board.
- 1:16:20SPEAKER_51: And I'd like to thank John's listeners for their generosity.
- 1:16:23SPEAKER_51: Now, because this is Minnesota, you can vote for me in person as early as Friday, October 16th.
- 1:16:29SPEAKER_51: Now, let's talk about the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment Categories after Eastern Carver County Schools.
- 1:16:35SPEAKER_51: Only 62.6% of our students are proficient in reading, only 62.5% are proficient in math, and only 29.9% are proficient in science.
- 1:16:48SPEAKER_51: So how are we graduating 94.1% of our students?
- 1:16:53SPEAKER_51: You know, this has nothing to do with the quality of our teachers and everything to do with a lack of school board and administrative accountability.
- 1:17:01SPEAKER_51: Our superintendent is not contractually responsible for student proficiency.
- 1:17:05SPEAKER_51: Go to the blog section of my website, reelectjoeescott.com and eccsmcascores.com.
- 1:17:16SPEAKER_18: So John, I I I hear that Janine Bureau is talking about the financial misappropriations of Elon Elmy.
- 1:17:25SPEAKER_18: I guess that's what it is now.
- 1:17:27SPEAKER_18: That's what's important to me.
- 1:17:29SPEAKER_18: She was I just want to just remind everybody, she's one of the authors of the feeding our future team.
- 1:17:36SPEAKER_18: She hired hired her teacher to administer the program, to then chose the people that would actually implement the program, to move those people to millions of dollars, gave campaign money to demographic, and then reporting worth of three million dollars.
- 1:18:03SPEAKER_18: So the thing is the reason why you need to make your focus is because the first thing human hands are involved in half the money, then it's harder to find that money and connect it to the team of future scams.
- 1:18:19SPEAKER_18: So I guess that's why we don't talk about that a lot.
- 1:18:22SPEAKER_18: Because that 30 million dollars of money that could have gone to help real people for uh need, and she scammed it and took it.
- 1:18:34SPEAKER_18: Well, the That's what I want to talk about more.
- 1:18:37SPEAKER_05: Well, the reality is we don't know uh, you know, we don't know exactly what the focus of the investigation is.
- 1:18:43SPEAKER_05: I mean, everything that we are discussing right now is purely speculation beyond what was revealed in the affidavit for the uh raid that took place on her home a couple of weeks ago, showing that she was listed under a different name by the federal government.
- 1:19:01SPEAKER_05: We still don't know the details of the probable cause, unless it was just simply the name, of how uh Homeland Security investigators in the DOJ were able to convince that Democrat judge to sign off on it.
- 1:19:14SPEAKER_05: So, what you mentioned could become a part of this in the future, but right now we don't know 100% what the focus of the investigation is because there's so many things to investigate.
- 1:19:23SPEAKER_05: So let's get into it here.
- 1:19:25SPEAKER_05: Uh, this comes from Alpha News via the Daily Signal.
- 1:19:28SPEAKER_05: We'll just run through it once again to kind of give you a bit of a recap as we head into this final week before the midterm election.
- 1:19:33SPEAKER_05: And as I mentioned at the start of the show, this is the calm before the storm, guys.
- 1:19:37SPEAKER_05: I'm fully, I am fully expecting that as happened last week, it's gonna start happening today.
- 1:19:44SPEAKER_05: The moment I get off the air of the show, there's gonna be uh once I get done with the show, all kinds of information's gonna be breaking between now and the end of the week.
- 1:19:53SPEAKER_05: For a lot of different reasons, but more specifically because this is the last week of campaigning.
- 1:19:57SPEAKER_05: So any major bombshells that could go and shift individuals, regardless of how few of those individuals might be shifted prior to the midterm elections, it's all gonna drop this week.
- 1:20:08SPEAKER_05: So on the immigration fraud front, from 2020 to 2022, the individual who wrote this at the Daily Signal says, I was counsel general in Nairobi, Kenya, a country that hosts a large population of Somalis who fled the country's corruption, famines, feckless governments, civil wars, and lawlessness.
- 1:20:30SPEAKER_05: Uh most brought few, if any, papers with them.
- 1:20:36SPEAKER_05: Now, this is also important.
- 1:20:37SPEAKER_05: Let me give you a bit of a preview, too.
- 1:20:39SPEAKER_05: Because I already have people reaching out to me this morning.
- 1:20:42SPEAKER_05: Um I do want to talk about next steps when it comes to Ilhan, but a Plymouth Post Office shares its building with a mosque.
- 1:20:52SPEAKER_05: The federal government is leasing a post office inside of a mosque in Minnesota.
- 1:20:59SPEAKER_05: This was exposed over the weekend in a viral video by the individual who has partnered up uh with uh David Hoke, who's partnered up with Nick Shirley.
- 1:21:08SPEAKER_05: I'm gonna get you up to speed on the story and everything that I've been able to learn about this uh postal mosque coming up later on this hour.
- 1:21:17SPEAKER_05: Okay?
- 1:21:18SPEAKER_05: So back to the story here because it's it's relevant to what we'll talk about with the mosque coming up.
- 1:21:23SPEAKER_05: So this individual who worked for two years in Kenya as general counsel, talking about those immigrating to America.
- 1:21:31SPEAKER_05: Uh most brought few, if any, papers with them.
- 1:21:34SPEAKER_05: Back in Somalia, civil documents weren't always issued, and many were destroyed in the country's endemic fighting.
- 1:21:41SPEAKER_05: Even when documents do exist, official corruption makes names, dates, and other facts easy to change.
- 1:21:49SPEAKER_05: However, once a name and date of birth has been established with a functional government like that of the United States, even if based on false information, immigrants must stick to their story, lying on one's application, known as doing nothing with my fingers, material misrepresentation under the Immigration and Nationality Act renders a person ineligible for a visa and other immigration benefits absent a waiver.
- 1:22:16SPEAKER_05: U.S.
- 1:22:16SPEAKER_05: agencies and foreign governments filter Kenyan refugee camps for candidates for resettlement further abroad.
- 1:22:24SPEAKER_05: Omar's immigration history is opaque.
- 1:22:26SPEAKER_05: Her family seems to have adopted or petitioned by another family during their exit from Kenya, and they separated when leaving.
- 1:22:34SPEAKER_05: Her ex-husband and alleged brother, Ahmed Noor Sayed Elmi, ended up a refugee in England and then and not in the U.S.
- 1:22:42SPEAKER_05: with Ilhan.
- 1:22:43SPEAKER_05: There are several outstanding accusations against Omar and her family.
- 1:22:48SPEAKER_05: So the accusations are such her father, Noor Omar Mohammed, committed fraud in his refugee application andor subsequent permanent residence and citizenship applications.
- 1:23:00SPEAKER_05: That's one of the accusations.
- 1:23:02SPEAKER_05: Her father never naturalized as a U.S.
- 1:23:04SPEAKER_05: citizen at all.
- 1:23:05SPEAKER_05: That's another accusation.
- 1:23:07SPEAKER_05: One or more of the claim to family relationships between Omar and her parents and siblings are fraudulent.
- 1:23:14SPEAKER_05: Omar married her brother, Noor Sayed Elmi, in 2009 and petitioned him to come to the U.S.
- 1:23:21SPEAKER_05: as her immediate relative.
- 1:23:23SPEAKER_05: A marriage to a sibling is not valid for U.S.
- 1:23:26SPEAKER_05: immigration purposes.
- 1:23:28SPEAKER_05: Omar falsified her date of birth so that she appeared to be a minor at the time her father was naturalized and became a citizen.
- 1:23:36SPEAKER_05: This is material because if she was under the age of 18, she would have automatically become a citizen too, as his dependent.
- 1:23:44SPEAKER_05: Whereas if she was over 18, she would have to have done that herself.
- 1:23:49SPEAKER_05: So before I get into the other allegations here, I do want to get a couple to a couple of your of your thoughts.
- 1:23:53SPEAKER_05: But let me let me add further further commentary on that.
- 1:23:56SPEAKER_05: First off, these are all just accusations.
- 1:23:59SPEAKER_05: And if Ilhan Omar, for the sake of argument, is removed from her position in Congress, make no mistake that she's just going to be replaced with somebody who is going to vote along the same lines as Ilhan Omar.
- 1:24:10SPEAKER_05: I don't think there is any chance that a Republican ends up winning that seat.
- 1:24:15SPEAKER_05: So in terms of the grand scheme of things, and we talked about this a bit on Friday's show, in terms of the big picture, when it comes to congressional votes, Ilhan Omar being removed doesn't really make that big of a deal.
- 1:24:27SPEAKER_05: I'll give you the the likely candidates.
- 1:25:00SPEAKER_05: It doesn't matter what your political beliefs are, what your ideology and what party you belong to, that is a massive, massive deal.
- 1:25:08SPEAKER_05: But it also sets the stage for all the other individuals who may have gone and committed the same immigration fraud.
- 1:25:16SPEAKER_05: It is a massive first step in setting a new baseline standard to get a grip on what's been happening in this country with the influx of immigrants who refuse to go and assimilate.
- 1:25:28SPEAKER_05: And this relates to the Plymouth, Minnesota Postal Mosque that we're going to talk about later on in the hour.
- 1:25:38SPEAKER_05: A lot of people have brought up Representative Tom Emmer, uh Keith Ellison going back over a decade, setting up a Somali caucus.
- 1:25:48SPEAKER_05: It's a similar mistake to what was made in Europe under Tony Blair.
- 1:25:52SPEAKER_05: And we talked about this a few weeks back with our economist here, our policy fellow John Phelan.
- 1:25:58SPEAKER_05: This idea, this misguided notion that we are going to accept an influx of immigrants who will be fleeing a war-torn region seeking a better life, and because they're seeking a better life and because they want to come to America, that they will go and assimilate and embrace everything that America has to offer by adopting our values.
- 1:26:22SPEAKER_05: I understand the sentiment.
- 1:26:24SPEAKER_05: And you have to think back to the mentality a decade ago versus the mentality now, because I know a lot of people look at that and they go, My gosh, that's insane.
- 1:26:34SPEAKER_05: And there were individuals back then who were saying that, but this wasn't top-of-mind commentary.
- 1:26:39SPEAKER_05: This wasn't something that was being discussed on the national level.
- 1:26:43SPEAKER_05: We weren't dealing with the fraud like what we have been dealing with over the course of the past few years.
- 1:26:52SPEAKER_05: So, yeah, you had a few people that saw, you know, read the tea leaves, you know, as John Phelan was mentioning at a time when Tony Blair was accepting an influx of immigrants and thinking this is going to be great for Europe.
- 1:27:03SPEAKER_05: This is going to be great for England.
- 1:27:04SPEAKER_05: All these individuals are going to contribute to our society.
- 1:27:07SPEAKER_05: We need more workers, and this is going to be a fantastic opportunity for us to bring in quality individuals who are going to want to be seeking a better life and will be embracing all of what we believe in.
- 1:27:16SPEAKER_05: And it didn't happen.
- 1:27:18SPEAKER_05: And now we have a bunch of fraud here in the United States.
- 1:27:21SPEAKER_05: So what's happening with Ilhan Omar, again, it's resetting the baseline standard of how we should be dealing with the issue of immigration at a time when there are too many individuals right now and those that are running for office that want to completely get rid of the Constitution and replace it with Sharia law.
- 1:27:41SPEAKER_05: They have no interest whatsoever in assimilating.
- 1:27:44SPEAKER_05: And a big reason why is because they haven't been told to do that.
- 1:27:48SPEAKER_05: They haven't been encouraged to do that.
- 1:27:50SPEAKER_05: As a matter of fact, the complete opposite has happened.
- 1:27:53SPEAKER_05: You've had individuals like Ilhan Omar who could have served as the example.
- 1:28:00SPEAKER_05: Of what it means to immigrate to the United States of America, embrace everything that America has to offer, and assimilate, even if you're going to be a Democrat.
- 1:28:10SPEAKER_05: And what did she do?
- 1:28:11SPEAKER_05: She did the exact opposite.
- 1:28:12SPEAKER_05: She served as the poster child for all other immigrants coming from Somalia to follow, wherein they don't like America.
- 1:28:22SPEAKER_05: They don't appreciate what this country was founded upon.
- 1:28:25SPEAKER_05: They despise it for the most part.
- 1:28:29SPEAKER_05: And this is why I have no sympathy whatsoever for Ilhan Omar, because she didn't do what I mentioned.
- 1:28:36SPEAKER_05: She didn't do the right thing and talk about what a great country this is, that an immigrant woman from a war-torn region could become a Congresswoman, only the second immigrant to be serving in Congress.
- 1:28:49SPEAKER_05: No, instead, she said all of these things.
- 1:28:53SPEAKER_38: So one place where we thought we would never experience this is the U.S.
- 1:28:59SPEAKER_38: goddamn state of white men across our country because they are actually causing uh most of the deaths within this country.
- 1:29:21SPEAKER_28: And you should be ashamed of yourself.
- 1:29:24SPEAKER_05: And by the way, that this one here was when she's sitting in the House of Representatives chambers and Trump is speaking on stage and she's next to Rashida Talib and she's just yelling at Trump.
- 1:29:37SPEAKER_05: You're the one who's corrupt, calling him all kinds of names.
- 1:29:43SPEAKER_38: So we live in a society.
- 1:29:46SPEAKER_38: We live in a society and govern in a body that might value the life of a dog more than they value the life of a child who might not look like theirs.
- 1:29:58SPEAKER_38: And that is completely sad to be a dictator on day one, and here we are.
- 1:30:06SPEAKER_38: This is what the beginning of dictatorship looks like.
- 1:30:10SPEAKER_38: When you got the Constitution and you install yourself as the sole power, that is how dictators are made.
- 1:30:21SPEAKER_38: I am glad to announce that the Congressional Progressive Caucus has adopted an official position to hold ICE accountable.
- 1:30:29SPEAKER_38: Our caucus members will oppose all funding for immigration enforcement in any appropriation bills until meaningful reforms are enacted to end militarized policing practices.
- 1:31:01SPEAKER_38: Somalis are not terrorizing this nation.
- 1:31:04SPEAKER_38: We are helping it line.
- 1:31:06SPEAKER_38: Somalis have always seen as a fabric, seen themselves as a fabric of this nation.
- 1:31:12SPEAKER_38: So not only are we not going anywhere.
- 1:31:17SPEAKER_38: Not only are we not going anywhere, we are not going to allow anybody to make us feel less Venezuelan or less American.
- 1:31:28SPEAKER_05: Unfortunately, I haven't seen any really good examples of what Ilhan Omar was mentioning in that final clip.
- 1:31:35SPEAKER_05: And all of which is why I have no sympathy for her.
- 1:31:39SPEAKER_05: If she had just been a congresswoman and not become a firebrand part of the squad, decrying the very thing that makes this country great, none of this would be happening.
- 1:31:51SPEAKER_05: This is all her own doing.
- 1:31:58SPEAKER_05: Again, the blaster line is 651-964-0294.
- 1:32:02SPEAKER_05: I want to run through uh the other uh potential uh indictments that Ilhan Omar could be uh facing.
- 1:32:09SPEAKER_05: Before I do that, though, right now at Mini Leaf, they have these uh amazing covers for the spooky mini leaf tonics.
- 1:32:16SPEAKER_05: They look like ghosts.
- 1:32:18SPEAKER_05: They have spooky witches hats on.
- 1:32:20SPEAKER_05: They're really cool looking.
- 1:32:21SPEAKER_05: You see them over here, Devin?
- 1:32:22SPEAKER_05: Yeah, they're awesome.
- 1:32:23SPEAKER_05: Uh listen, they're they're doing um samplings this week of the pain cream and the sleep gummies, and these uh costumes for the spooky mini leaf tonics are free with a qualified purchase.

- 1:32:38SPEAKER_05: Head on over to M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com to check them out for yourself.
- 1:32:43SPEAKER_05: And while you're there, you can check out their Triple Diamond Pain Cream that was mentioned.
- 1:32:46SPEAKER_05: Samplings of the really effective pain cream my wife swears by that.
- 1:32:50SPEAKER_05: The dark chocolates, too, are absolutely delicious.
- 1:32:52SPEAKER_05: As I mentioned, the spooky mini leaf tonics, fantastic for your Halloween parties coming up on uh Saturday.
- 1:32:59SPEAKER_05: So do not miss out on that as well.
- 1:33:01SPEAKER_05: And of course, the night gummies for me make all the difference in my getting a good night's sleep, just like last night as well.
- 1:33:06SPEAKER_05: And I was all lamped up after that Talladega race.
- 1:33:09SPEAKER_05: Holy cow, what a race that was.
- 1:33:11SPEAKER_05: My boy came in ninth.
- 1:33:12SPEAKER_05: It was okay.
- 1:33:13SPEAKER_05: Should have done better.
- 1:33:14SPEAKER_05: Be that as it may, it was an amazing race.
- 1:33:16SPEAKER_05: And I went to bed all just sort of jacked up and running on adrenaline, but thankfully the night gummies took care of that and I got a great night's sleep, which is why I'm able to deliver this amazing quality program provided by American Experiment to you right now.
- 1:33:28SPEAKER_05: M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com.

- 1:34:08SPEAKER_05: That's MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 1:34:13SPEAKER_22: Hey, good morning, John.
- 1:34:15SPEAKER_22: You know, I'm wondering if there's anyone that has a little clarification.
- 1:34:18SPEAKER_22: They said that Oilhan and her husband's wine business was supposedly people purchasing barrels worth of wine to be aged, but the barrels were all empty.
- 1:34:30SPEAKER_22: So were they defrauding their customers, or was that just a front for them to launder money?
- 1:34:38SPEAKER_22: Also, I've heard several people say that all the money through the feeding our future and the daycare scandals and all that was money that could have gone elsewhere.
- 1:34:47SPEAKER_22: And I disagree with that.
- 1:34:48SPEAKER_22: That money would have never been borrowed against our children's future.
- 1:34:53SPEAKER_22: The reason that that money was available is because bills were passed because they claimed it was needed.
- 1:35:00SPEAKER_22: It never would have been needed.
- 1:35:02SPEAKER_22: We never would have borrowed that money.
- 1:35:04SPEAKER_05: And again, these are some of the more recent allegations that hopefully we'll get clarity on as the investigation moves forward.
- 1:35:13SPEAKER_05: So we already covered the immigration fraud.
- 1:35:19SPEAKER_05: Then comes the passport and document potential fraud.
- 1:35:22SPEAKER_05: If Omar knowingly used a false date of birth when applying for her passport or driver's license or other official document once in the U.S., she could have run a foul of federal or state criminal statutes.
- 1:35:34SPEAKER_05: If she applied for bank loans or mortgages under a false identity, she could be liable for federal fraud charges.
- 1:35:40SPEAKER_05: Then you have the fraud in the welfare programs, which is what the individual was alluding to in the blast at 651-964-0294.
- 1:35:49SPEAKER_05: Thousands of Somalis come to the U.S.
- 1:35:52SPEAKER_05: Over the past 30 years.
- 1:35:54SPEAKER_05: They've done so through the U.S.
- 1:35:55SPEAKER_05: Refugee Assistance Program, asylum applications, or related family chain migration.
- 1:36:01SPEAKER_05: Many were settled into Minnesota through the Lutheran Church's refugee resettlement charity.
- 1:36:07SPEAKER_05: Omar's sister, Sara Noorr, reportedly listed a Minnesota home when she incorporated her organization, Grit Partners Consulting.
- 1:36:17SPEAKER_05: There have been subsequent revelations about organized fraud in Medicare and Medicaid, and these programs that are led by Somali immigrants.
- 1:36:26SPEAKER_05: According to the Center for Immigration Studies, a report of Somali immigrant households with children, 86% were on Medicaid, compared with only 28% of Minnesota households headed by a native-born citizen.
- 1:36:42SPEAKER_05: Sooner or later, the article goes on to say, we will know what really happened with Omar and immigration to the United States from Somalia via Kenya.
- 1:36:51SPEAKER_05: Ideally, this all would have been resolved well before the November elections, but better late than never, says the Daily Signal article writer.
- 1:37:00SPEAKER_05: In 2023, Omar approved various investigations into Donald Trump then in between his presidencies.
- 1:37:07SPEAKER_05: She said then that the fact that one of the most powerful people in the world was investigated impartially and indicted is a testament to the fact that we still live in a nation of laws and no one is above the law.
- 1:37:19SPEAKER_05: That was a direct quote from Ilhan Omar.
- 1:37:22SPEAKER_05: Words to uh live by, right?
- 1:37:25SPEAKER_15: When it comes to the fraud money, we have a lot of people say, well, that money could have gone to help people that actually needed it.
- 1:37:32SPEAKER_15: And although that's a nice sentiment to say, the reality is that the people that actually needed that money did have access to it and they could get it.
- 1:37:39SPEAKER_15: The fact is that there was no cap on that money, and there was no oversight on who was getting that money.
- 1:37:45SPEAKER_15: So people were just taking more and more of that money, and then the DFL could say this this program was so popular that we need to add more money to it next year.
- 1:37:57SPEAKER_15: So frankly, overall, the problem is no cap, no oversight, no accountability.
- 1:38:07SPEAKER_26: You know, it's pretty funny a couple years ago I got an audit because apparently if I was making money in California, I had no idea.
- 1:38:15SPEAKER_26: So they audited me saying that I still old cash is on$25,000.
- 1:38:22SPEAKER_26: And was using it over there in California and it worked.
- 1:38:26SPEAKER_26: And I got an audit.
- 1:38:28SPEAKER_26: Apparently you can be off by millions of dollars, and it's just a just refile it, it's okay.
- 1:38:35SPEAKER_26: How the hell does that work?
- 1:38:37SPEAKER_26: It's okay if you're off by millions, but you lose$20,000?
- 1:38:41SPEAKER_26: Oh my goodness, now you get an audit.
- 1:38:46SPEAKER_05: Make it make sense, is what he was gonna say.
- 1:38:49SPEAKER_05: Good morning, John.
- 1:38:50SPEAKER_05: Hey Vinny, got a question for you.
- 1:38:53SPEAKER_19: Why would I get taken on a job?
- 1:38:56SPEAKER_19: Whether we own the state or federal job?
- 1:39:01SPEAKER_19: I gotta provide my ID show on my data birth and who I am.
- 1:39:07SPEAKER_19: And uh to make sure that my job's not going to somebody here illegally.
- 1:39:12SPEAKER_19: But to be voted into a state representative position or a federal position.
- 1:39:19SPEAKER_19: That same person doesn't need to provide an ID.
- 1:39:24SPEAKER_19: They just say who they are and nobody questions that.
- 1:39:29SPEAKER_19: Because then this all starts with Elon when she became a state representative for who she is, nobody ever questioned that.
- 1:39:39SPEAKER_19: You find it odd that we can elect officials to represent us and nobody ever made sure that she truly was uh US representative.
- 1:39:50SPEAKER_05: Well, I think no, so I th uh let me let me let me clear that up.
- 1:39:54SPEAKER_05: No, I think people thought that the name that she was providing was a legitimate name.
- 1:39:59SPEAKER_05: That's the difference.
- 1:40:00SPEAKER_05: That's the problem.
- 1:40:02SPEAKER_05: So it wasn't that you can not show an ID, you don't have to show an ID to get a lot of.
- 1:40:06SPEAKER_05: Of course you do you have to prove your identity.
- 1:40:09SPEAKER_05: But her identity wasn't what her actual identity was.
- 1:40:12SPEAKER_05: Therein lies the issue and the problem.
- 1:40:15SPEAKER_05: It wasn't that it wasn't investigated at the time, initially when entering the country, that she was giving a separate name that was not attached to the individual whom she said was her father.
- 1:40:27SPEAKER_05: Now, it is true that when you get far enough down the timeline and well into Ilhan Omar's political career, now you have a completely different ballgame.
- 1:40:37SPEAKER_05: When the allegations, and we'll talk in less than an hour with Scott Johnson, who was on top of all of this over a decade ago.
- 1:40:46SPEAKER_05: Individuals like himself and others, Preyasam Sadar, we've had Bill Glaun here at American Experiment, they did a ton of research on Ilhan Omar, her past, and uncovered everything that's being revealed now.
- 1:41:00SPEAKER_05: But the difference is, and I'll keep hitting this, there wasn't a will and desire to go and do anything about it.
- 1:41:05SPEAKER_05: The Trump administration finally moved forward and did something about it.
- 1:41:10SPEAKER_05: Let's call this the um let's change it.
- 1:41:13SPEAKER_05: So I had the lonely highway theory, right?
- 1:41:15SPEAKER_05: Somebody gets busted by a law enforcement speeding on a highway in the middle of the night, and they claim, hey, I've never, you know, done this before.
- 1:41:23SPEAKER_05: And oh my gosh, I'll certainly drive slower.
- 1:41:25SPEAKER_05: When in reality, no, they've been speeding every single time.
- 1:41:27SPEAKER_05: They just got they just hadn't got caught.
- 1:41:29SPEAKER_05: We'll take you know this circumstance with Ilhan Omar and we'll call it the lonely town theory.
- 1:41:35SPEAKER_05: You know, you have a small town where somebody may go and have something in their past, but they serve the community and they're well respected and they're liked, even though they committed a crime that everybody is aware of, but they simply refuse to move forward with doing any sort of investigation on it, even though they know that they've gone and committed a crime.
- 1:41:55SPEAKER_05: Well, the likelihood of that individual going and committing other crimes based off of that other crime is highly likely.
- 1:42:03SPEAKER_05: So this is all but this is all that's happened here.
- 1:42:07SPEAKER_05: You know, this news came out a decade ago.
- 1:42:09SPEAKER_05: It got dismissed by local media.
- 1:42:10SPEAKER_05: They may have talked about it and then they ignored it, because there wasn't any further prosecutions or investigations into it.
- 1:42:18SPEAKER_05: And these are not good people, by the way.
- 1:42:21SPEAKER_05: One more item of note, and then I want to talk about the next thing that happens.
- 1:42:25SPEAKER_05: Because one individual who is being talked about replacing Ilhan Omar, when the inevitable, in my opinion, happens, is uh Democrat Zainad Mohammed representing in her first term um SD 63 in South Minneapolis.
- 1:42:42SPEAKER_05: She's running for re-election.
- 1:42:43SPEAKER_05: There's a piece by Bill Glaun at AmericanExperiment.org right now.
- 1:42:47SPEAKER_05: Did Senator Zaynab Mohammed accept fraud-linked campaign uh cash?
- 1:42:52SPEAKER_05: Now it's relevant because of the story itself and the potential of her accepting fraud-linked campaign cash, but it's also relevant because there's a lot of chatter of who would replace Ilhan.
- 1:43:02SPEAKER_05: Mohammed is one of them.
- 1:43:03SPEAKER_05: The other individual is the Somali mayor of uh of St.
- 1:43:07SPEAKER_05: Louis Park.
- 1:43:08SPEAKER_05: But again, these are not good individuals that we're talking about.
- 1:43:12SPEAKER_05: So I saw this post online, it's a breakdown of what happened with her most recent husband.
- 1:43:17SPEAKER_05: I just find it humorous.
- 1:43:18SPEAKER_05: The past becomes present again.
- 1:43:20SPEAKER_05: So Ilhan Omar had an affair with Tim Minette.
- 1:43:23SPEAKER_05: Well, he was still married to his then wife, Dr.
- 1:43:26SPEAKER_05: Beth Minette.
- 1:43:28SPEAKER_05: So in late August of 2019, Beth Minette files for a divorce in D.C.
- 1:43:33SPEAKER_05: Superior Court.
- 1:43:34SPEAKER_05: She said the couple separated on or about April 7th of 2019, after Tim told her he was romantically involved with and in love with another woman, Ilhan Omar.
- 1:43:45SPEAKER_05: This is where he made the shocking declaration of love.
- 1:43:49SPEAKER_05: As a matter of fact, uh Christina Guyo, who I pulled this from on X, talks about that.
- 1:43:56SPEAKER_05: She described a shocking declaration of love.
- 1:43:59SPEAKER_05: Said he moved out the next day and said that he had recently been lying about traveling and long work hours and had really been spending time with Omar.
- 1:44:07SPEAKER_05: Oh, it's a tale as old as time.
- 1:44:09SPEAKER_05: I'll be back later, honey.
- 1:44:10SPEAKER_05: I gotta go to the office.
- 1:44:11SPEAKER_05: They need me late at night.
- 1:44:15SPEAKER_05: Can't you do it from home?
- 1:44:16SPEAKER_05: No, I can only do it on the office computer.
- 1:44:18SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 1:44:18SPEAKER_05: And they were doing something completely different, or someone completely different.
- 1:44:23SPEAKER_05: She also said he took their teenage son to dinner with Omar.
- 1:44:27SPEAKER_05: This would be Tim Manette's ex-wife.
- 1:44:30SPEAKER_05: Now, Tim denied parts of her account.
- 1:44:33SPEAKER_05: He said that he did not tell her he was leaving the marriage for Omar or that he was in love with her.
- 1:44:38SPEAKER_05: He specifically said that he, doing that thing with my fingers, had not engaged in any physical or sexual relationship with any other woman during their marriage.
- 1:44:46SPEAKER_05: He attributed the split to other issues and accused his wife of trying to damage his career.
- 1:44:52SPEAKER_05: Omar denied the affair allegations at the time and said she was not separated or dating anyone.
- 1:44:58SPEAKER_05: So she files for divorce from Ahmed Hersey in October of 2019, six months after Tim separated from his wife.
- 1:45:05SPEAKER_05: It was finalized November 5th, 2019.
- 1:45:09SPEAKER_05: The Manette's divorce was finalized in December of 2019, two months after Omar filed for a divorce.
- 1:45:16SPEAKER_05: At the brief hearing, Beth, Tim Minette's ex-wife, tried to say that Tim had acknowledged an extramarital romantic relationship with Omar that led to the divorce, but the judge cut her off.
- 1:45:29SPEAKER_05: Omar and Tim Minette married March 11, 2020, three months after the Minette's divorce and four months after Omar's divorce.
- 1:45:38SPEAKER_05: Omar later said the personal relationship started long after their professional work.
- 1:45:45SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 1:45:47SPEAKER_05: Match made in corruption.
- 1:45:50SPEAKER_05: Their professional work uh together started in July of 2018.
- 1:45:55SPEAKER_05: So the article writer, by the way, or the the poster on X, they wrote, What do you think?
- 1:45:59SPEAKER_05: Is Ilhan Omar both an adulterer and a home wrecker, or did the relationship start after both she and Manette got divorced?
- 1:46:06SPEAKER_05: Oh no, they were absolutely getting it on beforehand.
- 1:46:08SPEAKER_05: Give me a break.
- 1:46:10SPEAKER_05: I think the article writer is fully aware of that as well.
- 1:46:13SPEAKER_05: There's no way.
- 1:46:14SPEAKER_05: There's just no way.
- 1:46:16SPEAKER_05: Where there is smoke, there is absolutely fire.
- 1:46:19SPEAKER_01: You know, it's pretty funny a couple years ago I got an audit because Oh, hold on.
- 1:46:23SPEAKER_05: We already uh my apologies.
- 1:46:24SPEAKER_05: I played that uh blast this morning here.
- 1:46:26SPEAKER_05: On the John Justice show.
- 1:46:28SPEAKER_05: Let's get to a few of your uh texts that have rolled in.
- 1:46:32SPEAKER_05: Uh Chad writes, uh, this is a state of Minnesota DFL problem.
- 1:46:37SPEAKER_05: Do I need to point out that they dropped the ball on John Kiss the Tip Thompson, let him run for state and didn't check his ID because he was registered living in another state?
- 1:46:46SPEAKER_05: Security of state should be charged with a failure to fulfill its duties.
- 1:46:52SPEAKER_05: That's right.
- 1:46:53SPEAKER_05: Thank you for that.
- 1:46:54SPEAKER_05: I appreciate it.
- 1:46:55SPEAKER_05: Let's go uh let's go here.
- 1:46:57SPEAKER_33: Good morning, John.
- 1:46:58SPEAKER_33: I don't know if you saw it, but Louis McGruz had a piece out where he mentioned eagle eye Bill Glon from American Experiment.
- 1:47:10SPEAKER_33: Something about catching fraud early on, but I don't know.
- 1:47:14SPEAKER_33: I just thought it was cute.
- 1:47:16SPEAKER_33: He gave a hat tip to Bill again.
- 1:47:20SPEAKER_33: Yeah, we have to say his name.
- 1:47:22SPEAKER_33: Words, Monday.
- 1:47:23SPEAKER_33: Have a good day.
- 1:47:24SPEAKER_05: Yeah, we actually have a post-up about that uh at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 1:47:28SPEAKER_05: I would encourage uh everybody to uh go and uh and take a look at it at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 1:47:34SPEAKER_05: It's a great piece.
- 1:47:35SPEAKER_05: But no, you are absolutely right.
- 1:47:36SPEAKER_05: There was a uh there was a bit of a shout out here to American Experiment.
- 1:47:40SPEAKER_34: Good morning, John Joe from Victoria.
- 1:47:41SPEAKER_34: Well, let's apply the same sort of prosecute prosecutorial standards to uh Ilhan Omar that we did to Donald Trump.
- 1:47:48SPEAKER_34: Uh say she paid for that application fee.
- 1:47:52SPEAKER_34: Uh where the personal choice was that's just a bookkeeping error, that's just a you know felony.
- 1:48:00SPEAKER_34: Let's say that she's writing was uh you know, she's a felony.
- 1:48:05SPEAKER_34: Um, that's uh a different kind of felony.
- 1:48:10SPEAKER_34: She gave it to the uh person that the killing her well, that's that's the uh the submission of uh fraudulent documents a felony.
- 1:48:19SPEAKER_34: Uh and then uh, you know, she lied about it under oath.
- 1:48:23SPEAKER_34: Well, there's another felony, you know, so each each instance of that would be five felonies for every offense.
- 1:48:29SPEAKER_34: Anyway, have a great morning.
- 1:48:31SPEAKER_05: Well, and this is why uh we had uh TJ uh last hour here on the show was uh talking about how Ilhan Omar in a uh very public display, it's crazy how everybody knew that Ilhan Omar was going to be down voting on Friday.
- 1:48:47SPEAKER_05: It's like everybody was tipped off.
- 1:48:49SPEAKER_05: Crazy how that happens.
- 1:48:50SPEAKER_05: Uh but people were talking about, well, okay, if she's indicted on these charges, I mean, isn't she potentially violating the law by going and voting under a false identity?
- 1:48:59SPEAKER_05: Well, sure, but as the blast just said and we talked about last hour, just to add it to the list of all the different crimes committed under a false identity.
- 1:49:09SPEAKER_05: Can anything that she's done be trusted?
- 1:49:12SPEAKER_05: That's really the question.
- 1:49:13SPEAKER_05: Speaking of trust, when you need service for your home, you want to go with a company that you can trust.
- 1:49:19SPEAKER_05: That company is Ericsson Plumbing, heating air, and electrical.
- 1:49:22SPEAKER_05: When you call most home service companies, you get upsells, you get commissions and one trade fixes with Ericsson Plumbing, heating air and electrical, it's completely different.
- 1:49:30SPEAKER_05: For 43 years, this local and family-owned team with licensed experts across all the major trades, even safety and security systems, but of course gas, electrical, HVAC plumbing, right?
- 1:49:40SPEAKER_05: You're going to get the quality service that you expect from a local company.
- 1:49:44SPEAKER_05: It doesn't happen much anymore.
- 1:49:45SPEAKER_05: A lot of those companies and those vans you see driving around that you've been seeing for years, maybe even decades, that you go, that is a local service company that I can trust.
- 1:49:53SPEAKER_05: Nope, not anymore.
- 1:49:54SPEAKER_05: They've been purchased consolidation by corporations outside of Minnesota and they're no longer delivered.
- 1:50:00SPEAKER_05: That quality service that you used to expect.
- 1:50:03SPEAKER_05: That's not the case with Ericsson Plumbing Heating, Air, and Electrical.
- 1:50:07SPEAKER_05: So whether you have, you know, a major project or a quick fix, or you want to get a complete home mechanical analysis with their iHeart My Home Club, head on over to iHeartexon.com.
- 1:50:17SPEAKER_05: That's their website, iHeartErickson.com, or call them today and tell them that John Justice sent you.
- 1:50:22SPEAKER_05: That number is 763-783-4545.
- 1:50:25SPEAKER_05: That's 763-783-4545.
- 1:50:29SPEAKER_05: Did Zainab Mohammed, a senator Minneapolis District SD63, accept fraud-linked campaign cash?
- 1:50:37SPEAKER_05: And is she at the top of the list to replace Ilhan Omar if she gets booted from Congress?
- 1:50:42SPEAKER_05: I'll talk about that in just a minute here on the John Justice show.
- 1:50:48SPEAKER_05: Alpha Women's Center offers her help and hope to choose life.
- 1:50:52SPEAKER_05: Alpha Women's Center is a pro-life Christian mobile clinic that serves women like Tita, who left her abortion appointment and chose life for her twins after seeing her ultrasound.
- 1:51:02SPEAKER_05: With free counseling, diapers, and resources, she's continuing her education and building a stronger family.
- 1:51:08SPEAKER_05: Alpha Women's Center is donor supported and serves five Twin Cities locations, including outside abortion clinics.
- 1:51:16SPEAKER_05: For more information, go to MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 1:51:20SPEAKER_05: That's MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 1:51:26SPEAKER_05: Zaynam Mohammed, State Senator, first term, pursuing her 2026 campaign finance report, excuse me, perusing her 2026 finance report, writes Bill Glaund at American Experiment.
- 1:51:40SPEAKER_05: A name jumped out at him.
- 1:51:42SPEAKER_05: Jamal Hashi.
- 1:51:43SPEAKER_05: The name jumped out because Jamal Hasee Hashi was a past campaign donor to Attorney General Keith Ellison.
- 1:51:52SPEAKER_05: And also provided his profession as chef.
- 1:51:57SPEAKER_05: So what, you ask?
- 1:51:59SPEAKER_05: The earlier, this earlier Jamal Hashi was linked to, but never charged in the Feeding Our Future fraud scandal.
- 1:52:06SPEAKER_05: Hashi's name came up during a courtroom trial of Feeding Our Future CEO Amy Bach, who is white, according to the Star Tribune, last year.
- 1:52:15SPEAKER_05: She was so closely linked, however, that Ellison felt obligated in a December 2025 to forward his December 2021$2,500 campaign donation to the U.S.
- 1:52:28SPEAKER_05: Department of Justice along with other Feeding Our Future linked donations.
- 1:52:34SPEAKER_05: Now, the above$10,000 in Ellison donations were all received at the same December 20th, 2021 fundraiser featuring exclusively donors linked with Feeding Our Future.
- 1:52:48SPEAKER_05: So you have Gandhi Yusuf Mohammed.
- 1:52:50SPEAKER_05: He was convicted in the fraud and is scheduled to be sentenced earlier this year.
- 1:52:54SPEAKER_05: And there's a chart that accompanies this piece by Bill Gallon at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 1:52:59SPEAKER_05: Zainat Mohammed accepted Jamal Hashi's 2026 donation after Ellison returned a Jamal Hashi donation.
- 1:53:08SPEAKER_05: Now, for her part, Zaynat Mohammed had received three earlier donations from Hashi.
- 1:53:14SPEAKER_05: Over the years, Senator Mohammed has received a total of$2,000 under the name Jamal Hashi Chef.
- 1:53:22SPEAKER_05: Jamal Hashi Chef is also listed as making a$2,800 donation to U.S.
- 1:53:28SPEAKER_05: Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and a$1,000 donation to the Washington state political candidate named Shukri Olau.
- 1:53:38SPEAKER_05: It's all very curious, isn't it?
- 1:53:41SPEAKER_05: Now, Senator Mohammed has an interesting backstory.
- 1:53:44SPEAKER_05: She's the sister-in-law of the current state Senator Omar Fate, who represents an adjacent district, SG2262, and who has his own connections with the Feeding Our Future Fraud, also as epically losing the Minneapolis mayoral race because Minneapolis man, baby mayor, mom jeans, Jacob Fry was able to exploit the Somali factions to uh go and push back on each other, which gave him the uh victory.
- 1:54:11SPEAKER_05: Now, Zainab is also the sister of Muse Mohammed, who was convicted at a trial in 2022 of a federal perjury charge in connection with his handling of absentee ballots on behalf of Omar Fate's 2020 election campaign.
- 1:54:28SPEAKER_05: Just closely aligned, guys.
- 1:54:30SPEAKER_05: It's all just coincidental that all these people in the orbit all turn out to have some corruption involved.
- 1:54:36SPEAKER_05: So that would also make Muse Mohammed a convicted perjurer, the brother-in-law of Senator Omar Fate.
- 1:54:43SPEAKER_05: Senator Mohammed is facing a Republican challenger for SD-63 seat, Diane Knapper, friend of the show, by the way.
- 1:54:50SPEAKER_05: Although Mohammed prevailed by 86 percentage points to a 14.
- 1:54:59SPEAKER_05: She's out with a brand new campaign commercial.
- 1:55:02SPEAKER_05: This campaign isn't just about me, it's about my people.
- 1:55:05SPEAKER_05: Election day is November 3rd, so Minnesota, let's make our voices heard and show up for our people because this election isn't just about your vote, it's about our community.
- 1:55:15SPEAKER_05: The sickly uh the slickly produced 60-second campaign ad focuses on Senator Mohammed's Somali American heritage, it seems a little over the top for an 86 to 14 percentage district, but perhaps it's doing double duty should a Minneapolis Congress, uh, congressional seat open up unexpectedly for a special election.
- 1:55:42SPEAKER_05: Again, everything that you are seeing right now regarding Ilhan Omar and everything that will be revealed this week, I still contend those indictments are coming before Friday this week.
- 1:55:53SPEAKER_05: That's my expectation.
- 1:55:56SPEAKER_05: Everything that you see coming from the Ilhan Omar campaign, it has nothing to do with getting her off of whatever the indictments will be, and it has everything to do with whatever the next phase of Ilhan Omar will be in her own personal career if she's not deported, or whomever ends up rising to the occasion to run for that empty seat.
- 1:56:20SPEAKER_05: Zaynat Mohammed is a name that's being talked about, as is also the uh mayor in St.
- 1:56:27SPEAKER_05: Louis uh Park.
- 1:56:30SPEAKER_17: Good morning, John Victor.
- 1:56:32SPEAKER_17: Um, I don't know why we're surprised.
- 1:56:35SPEAKER_17: Um another Somali woman, another Somali in general, comes out in government, and she's connected to fraud.
- 1:56:43SPEAKER_17: Ilhan's connected the fraud.
- 1:56:45SPEAKER_17: They're all connected to the F and fraud.
- 1:56:48SPEAKER_17: Why are we surprised?
- 1:56:49SPEAKER_17: Of course she took the fraud money.
- 1:56:53SPEAKER_05: Allegedly.
- 1:56:54SPEAKER_05: Just want to point that out.
- 1:56:55SPEAKER_05: Well, and that brings us to this story.
- 1:56:58SPEAKER_05: 651-964-0294.
- 1:57:02SPEAKER_05: Now, I'll be honest, I was waiting for a little bit more before I dove in to the United States Postal Mosque.
- 1:57:12SPEAKER_05: However, too many of you reached out.
- 1:57:15SPEAKER_05: So I decided to uh go ahead and give you everything that I could find about the situation.
- 1:57:20SPEAKER_05: So it goes like this.
- 1:57:22SPEAKER_05: In 2011, the United States Postal Service sold a 10,500 square foot property for$770,000 to the Islamic Center and then leased back the retail P.O.
- 1:57:38SPEAKER_05: Box area under a long-term deal.
- 1:57:42SPEAKER_05: City approved the conditional use permit.
- 1:57:45SPEAKER_05: The building is privately owned by the mosque.
- 1:57:49SPEAKER_05: U.S.
- 1:57:50SPEAKER_05: uh United States Postal Service is simply a tenant.
- 1:57:53SPEAKER_05: This is a standard commercial lease.
- 1:57:56SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 1:57:56SPEAKER_05: The United States Postal Service leases most of its facilities from private owners.
- 1:58:01SPEAKER_05: And I'll actually give you the uh the number breakdown of this coming up uh as we dive into this uh into this story.
- 1:58:07SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 1:58:08SPEAKER_05: So a new investigative video and uh interview by fraud researcher David Hoke, who has worked with uh Nick Shirley on videos examining suspected fraud in Minnesota, has brought this issue to light.
- 1:58:21SPEAKER_05: And there's a video that's been floating around uh over the weekend that many of you, friends of the show, have seen uh online.
- 1:58:29SPEAKER_05: So the center ended up holding its grand opening back in July of 2012.
- 1:58:34SPEAKER_05: The arrangement allowed the United States Postal Service retail counter to remain in the front portion of the building while the Islamic center, used for areas of prayer, education, and community activities, is in the back.
- 1:58:48SPEAKER_05: Now, what I've not been able to see, and this is relevant when it comes to a um a case in another state regarding a complaint of a post office being inside of a Christian church.
- 1:59:03SPEAKER_05: What I haven't seen is whether or not there is anything of religious note inside of that post office.
- 1:59:10SPEAKER_05: And again, this will become relevant as we dive further into this story.
- 1:59:14SPEAKER_05: With that, let's go ahead and uh make it official as we enter into our three here on the John Justice Show presented by American Experiment.
- 1:59:22SPEAKER_05: Glad you're with us.
- 1:59:46SPEAKER_32: I think if it's information that David has out there, it's um credible.
- 1:59:50SPEAKER_32: If it was just Zach on his own, I would question it and uh be okay with you not covering it yet.
- 1:59:56SPEAKER_32: But David knows his stuff.
- 1:59:58SPEAKER_32: Um I'm a I appreciate that he has teamed up with Zach.
- 2:00:02SPEAKER_32: Seems like Zach maybe has calmed down a little bit uh working with David.
- 2:00:06SPEAKER_32: So thanks for what you do.
- 2:00:09SPEAKER_05: Yeah, you know, and to that point, I didn't grab the audio from the video because it's a it's a little hard to uh to hear and it's really long, uh, which is why I was intending on waiting on the story for a little bit for some further clarification to emerge.
- 2:00:23SPEAKER_05: But um so many individuals were reaching out over the weekend.
- 2:00:26SPEAKER_05: Like I said, I decided to do my own uh research on this to let you know what it is that I know.
- 2:00:32SPEAKER_05: Watching the video, though, of uh David and Zach, I will say that unfortunately the way that Zach handles the situation on the ground at the mosque, right, didn't really do the story itself any favors.
- 2:00:48SPEAKER_05: He comes off as a little too caustic.
- 2:00:50SPEAKER_05: Now, there's an argument to be made that that's a good thing because it's bringing this particular issue to more people's attention.
- 2:00:57SPEAKER_05: That being said, I think there's a way to do it without being so aggressive in your reporting.
- 2:01:03SPEAKER_05: Because right now it is just questions.
- 2:01:04SPEAKER_05: There is nothing illegal that has happened here.
- 2:01:07SPEAKER_05: I just want to say that up front.
- 2:01:09SPEAKER_05: Inappropriate?
- 2:01:10SPEAKER_05: Sure, there's definitely an argument to be made with everything that we've been faced with regarding Somali-led immigration fraud.
- 2:01:17SPEAKER_05: And this post office being inside of a mosque certainly raises questions when it comes to the remittances that are sent overseas to Somalia that we have documented, uh documented evidence of millions of dollars in suitcases filled with cash heading over and landing in the hands of terrorist organizations in Somalia, al-Shabaab to be more specific, as covered extensively by City Journal.
- 2:01:45SPEAKER_05: But in watching the video, that was just the part of it where it's like, you know, who whoever this Zach kid is, the dude needs to calm down a little bit.
- 2:01:52SPEAKER_05: Somebody had asked, do you have the address of this?
- 2:01:54SPEAKER_05: Yes, I have the address of this.
- 2:01:55SPEAKER_05: This is a 3300 Plymouth Boulevard in Plymouth.
- 2:01:58SPEAKER_05: Somebody was asking the location of this.
- 2:02:01SPEAKER_05: So again, we're talking about a post office that shares its building uh with a mosque locally.
- 2:02:07SPEAKER_05: The reason why it's going viral is this investigative video and interview by fraud researcher David Hoke.
- 2:02:13SPEAKER_05: So in an October 21st interview with Alpha News, Hoke described the Plymouth location as the only place in the country where you'll find a post office inside of a mosque.
- 2:02:23SPEAKER_05: I will say that I'm not necessarily sure that's true, only because there is no available data regarding the affiliation of the U.S.
- 2:02:38SPEAKER_05: Postal Service with these private entities.
- 2:02:41SPEAKER_05: So I did some research this morning because I was curious, okay, has the U.S.
- 2:02:45SPEAKER_05: Post Office gone and leased property from because they do this all the time.
- 2:02:51SPEAKER_05: This is nothing new.
- 2:02:52SPEAKER_05: The U.S.
- 2:02:52SPEAKER_05: Postal Service will often lease private properties to go and and and place a post office.
- 2:02:58SPEAKER_05: So I went to do some research on whether or not there were any other religious institutions and um Christian churches and church buildings not established, apart from this case that I'll share with you details on.
- 2:03:09SPEAKER_05: Mosques not established, synagogues not established, Hindu temples not established, Buddhist temples not established, other religious facilities not established, total places of worship where you can find a U.S.
- 2:03:20SPEAKER_05: Postal Service, no verified national total found.
- 2:03:25SPEAKER_05: So, I mean, David Hope might be right.
- 2:03:27SPEAKER_05: He might have done further investigative work to get a definitive answer on that.
- 2:03:31SPEAKER_05: From my preliminary research, I could not find even this particular location, apart from the fact that this location has now been identified to be a post office inside of a mosque.
- 2:03:43SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 2:03:45SPEAKER_05: So does the post office operate in the same building as a mosque just to kind of dispense with some of these questions?
- 2:03:51SPEAKER_05: Yes.
- 2:03:52SPEAKER_05: Historical reporting and current postal location listings identify this as the address with the mosque in the back and the post office in the front.
- 2:04:00SPEAKER_05: Does the Islamic Center own the building?
- 2:04:03SPEAKER_05: Yes.
- 2:04:03SPEAKER_05: In 2011, reporting says that it purchased the property.
- 2:04:07SPEAKER_05: And again, as I mentioned, um the uh United States leased back the rental postal box area under a long-term deal.
- 2:04:16SPEAKER_05: And was this approved publicly?
- 2:04:18SPEAKER_05: Yes, it was.
- 2:04:19SPEAKER_05: The City of Plymouth City Council approved the proposal unanimously in August of 2011.
- 2:04:26SPEAKER_05: Now, to the question of is it the only post office inside of a mosque in America?
- 2:04:31SPEAKER_05: That has not been independently verified.
- 2:04:34SPEAKER_05: Again, Hoke makes the claim, but there is no authoritative nationwide comparison establishing that fact, at least that I could find.
- 2:04:42SPEAKER_05: Now, granted, my resources are limited because it's just me.
- 2:04:46SPEAKER_05: So is the post office being used to facilitate fraud or illicit transfers?
- 2:04:51SPEAKER_05: No evidence of that has emerged in the reporting.
- 2:04:54SPEAKER_05: The existence of the shared facility does not establish such activity, but perhaps an investigation is uh warranted.
- 2:05:05SPEAKER_05: So here's the questions that I have regarding this, right?
- 2:05:09SPEAKER_05: So, what rent does the United States Postal Service pay for this particular post office in this mosque?
- 2:05:17SPEAKER_05: What are the lease terms?
- 2:05:18SPEAKER_05: And who pays for the utilities and the maintenance?
- 2:05:23SPEAKER_05: Um, what do the deed and purchase records show about the buyer financing and subsequent ownership?
- 2:05:31SPEAKER_05: Is the uh facility a standard U.S.
- 2:05:34SPEAKER_05: Postal Service retail branch and what postal services are available there?
- 2:05:40SPEAKER_05: Right?
- 2:05:41SPEAKER_05: And those are questions that should be answered.
- 2:05:43SPEAKER_05: And they should be answered in light of everything that we are faced with here in Minnesota regarding the fraud.
- 2:05:50SPEAKER_05: And I think legitimate concerns that people have when it comes to a mosque having a United States Post Office and the fact that we have documented evidence of potential crimes and money being sent to overseas, landing in the hands of terrorists.
- 2:06:05SPEAKER_05: So the United States Postal Service, by the way, just as a bit of a background on this, 30,972 retail offices nationwide, 2,500 plus contract with private entities.
- 2:06:19SPEAKER_05: This is according to a 2023 uh audit of the United States Postal Service.
- 2:06:24SPEAKER_05: So of those 30,972, you have 2,500 of them that have actually gone in leased spaces from private businesses.
- 2:06:33SPEAKER_05: Now, United States Postal Service confirms that contract postal units operate in supplier-owned or supplier-leased facilities, and that its location database includes both post offices and contract locations.
- 2:06:46SPEAKER_05: However, its published descriptions do not provide a count broken down by religious affiliation of the building.
- 2:06:52SPEAKER_05: And like I said, when it came to all types of different churches, there is absolutely no record whatsoever of whether or not beyond what we're talking about here, of the United States Postal Service working with a religious institution.
- 2:07:12SPEAKER_05: No published United States Postal Service or federal database identifying the posted locations, the postal locations by religion of their host building.
- 2:07:22SPEAKER_05: So here's the bottom line with this.
- 2:07:23SPEAKER_05: The United States Postal Service uses privately owned and leased uh premises for postal services.
- 2:07:29SPEAKER_05: We cannot substantiate how many other uh others are located in places of worship or provide credible, a credible religious breakdown.
- 2:07:37SPEAKER_05: So, where's the controversy here?
- 2:07:39SPEAKER_05: Well, the controversy is that this is a mosque that owns a post office and that's it.
- 2:07:43SPEAKER_05: So far.
- 2:07:44SPEAKER_05: There's been no indication of any sort of wrongdoing.
- 2:07:48SPEAKER_05: It was done completely uh legally.
- 2:07:51SPEAKER_05: So, in the absence of any other information, you just have a postal service that is owned by a mosque that's operating out of a mosque.
- 2:08:00SPEAKER_05: Now, the question is that does come to mind is are there anything, is there anything religious aligned with the mosque in the actual post office itself?
- 2:08:16SPEAKER_05: Because in Cooper versus the U.S.
- 2:08:18SPEAKER_05: Postal Service, this was a lawsuit involving a Christian church that operated a contra a contract post office in Manchester, Connecticut.
- 2:08:28SPEAKER_05: So I wanted to provide you at least one other example wherein the post office worked with a religious entity and the controversy attached to it.
- 2:08:37SPEAKER_05: So I'll give you the details on this in uh in just a moment.
- 2:08:41SPEAKER_05: Okay, so somebody, I'm going through the text to the blaster line, 651-964-0294.
- 2:08:46SPEAKER_05: Uh Zach, the individual on the camera in the video that I was talking about with David Hoke, uh, is a friend of Jake Lang, so he's using a lot of the same tactics.
- 2:08:55SPEAKER_05: Okay, that makes a lot of sense.
- 2:08:56SPEAKER_05: And that's unfortunate.
- 2:09:00SPEAKER_05: That that that's the angle that was being taken.
- 2:09:02SPEAKER_05: I'm not to say there's I'm not saying there's not controversy and it's not worth looking into.
- 2:09:06SPEAKER_05: At this point in time, there's no evidence of any criminal wrongdoing.
- 2:09:10SPEAKER_05: So let's not go and treat the individuals working there as such who are just working for a post office.
- 2:09:18SPEAKER_05: Now, getting to the Manchester lawsuit, so Gospel Interdenominational Church operated a contract postal unit through an organization called Sincerely Yours, Inc.
- 2:09:29SPEAKER_05: This goes back to 2023.
- 2:09:32SPEAKER_05: Um, Bertram Cooper was a local resident, a World War II veteran.
- 2:09:36SPEAKER_05: He sued the U.S.
- 2:09:38SPEAKER_05: postal officials and said religious displays made him uncomfortable, particularly because the facility appeared to be an ordinary U.S.
- 2:09:47SPEAKER_05: post office.
- 2:09:48SPEAKER_05: The postal counter area displayed evangelical Christian messages, religious brochures, photographs and missionary work, and other religious materials.
- 2:09:58SPEAKER_05: Customers could also make donations to Christian ministries.
- 2:10:02SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 2:10:05SPEAKER_05: Cooper contended the displays violated the First Amendment's Establishment Clause, which restricts a government establishment or endorsement of religion.
- 2:10:14SPEAKER_05: So this is why I bring up, I didn't see inside the post office, but if there is a lot of different religious material relating to the mosque itself, then this might be the first thing that you could look towards in terms of controversy in the absence of any sort of investigation being done.
- 2:10:33SPEAKER_05: So in 2007, the Federal District Court ruled for Cooper.
- 2:10:37SPEAKER_05: The court found that religious displays violated the establishment clause and ordered their removal from the postal facility.
- 2:10:45SPEAKER_05: In 2009, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the constitutional finding, but narrowed the remedy.
- 2:10:53SPEAKER_05: The appeals court ruled that the postal counter could not display religious materials, but the church could retain religious expression in areas clearly separated from the postal operation and used for its private activities.
- 2:11:08SPEAKER_05: So in 2010, a final amended injunction took place where the district court ordered religious materials removed from the postal counter, the post office boxes, and shelving used for the postal products.
- 2:11:21SPEAKER_05: So the court did not rule that the church is prohibited from hosting a post office.
- 2:11:26SPEAKER_05: It ruled that the church could not use part of its operation performing the government's postal function to promote religion.
- 2:11:32SPEAKER_05: So in Connecticut, the dispute was about religious messaging in the government contracted postal service, not simply about a post office being located on a property associated with a religious institution.
- 2:11:44SPEAKER_05: So, as we'll get to your comments here in just a moment, uh here on the show, 651 964 0294.
- 2:11:50SPEAKER_05: Just keep all of this in mind when you see this story and it unfolds, because I don't think it's going away um anytime in the uh near future.
- 2:12:00SPEAKER_05: Uh that being said, at the moment they're not doing, like I said, anything illegal uh in regards to, at least as we've seen so far.
- 2:12:10SPEAKER_05: This was done legally, this was approved of by a local uh city council in uh in Plymouth as it now comes to light and makes the rounds in a viral video.
- 2:12:21SPEAKER_05: So we'll get to your comments here in just a moment.
- 2:12:24SPEAKER_05: I want to play this clip though, just because I thought it was uh relevant.
- 2:12:27SPEAKER_05: Kristen Robbins, uh representative uh here in Minnesota and also uh gubernatorial, uh was a gubernatorial candidate, was on Fox News uh talking about the recent investigations and specifically what's going to be happening here in Minnesota.
- 2:12:44SPEAKER_05: It's interesting when you consider the swirling potential controversy around this Plymouth Post Office being owned by a mosque.
- 2:12:53SPEAKER_43: We're so grateful for the partnership of Secretary Bess and the Trump administration.
- 2:12:57SPEAKER_43: So he started a new program where they're gonna limit cash out to$2,000 a person, which is gonna be a dramatic change for a lot of people.
- 2:13:06SPEAKER_43: And they're also gonna be geotracking all the cash that's leaving um the Hennepin County or Ramsey County, which is where you know a lot of um this population lives.
- 2:13:16SPEAKER_43: And so that will really help because before they hadn't been tracking where the money went, and once it got to Dubai, they assumed you know it was hard to track because it was going through the Hawala network.
- 2:13:26SPEAKER_31: Do you think Wall's new or is he just an idiot?
- 2:13:31SPEAKER_43: It's been so widely reported there's no way he couldn't have known.
- 2:13:34SPEAKER_43: Um it's been known since his first year in 2019.
- 2:13:37SPEAKER_43: There was an OLA report at that time that um thought there would maybe be a hundred million dollars in child care fraud and talked about the ties to terrorism, and that uh whistleblower was ignored and um hounded, actually retaliated against.
- 2:13:53SPEAKER_43: So everyone's been willfully turning a blind eye in the Wells administration.
- 2:13:57SPEAKER_43: So he he knew about it.
- 2:14:00SPEAKER_05: And again, uh Christian Robbins uh on uh Fox News uh talking about how Scott Bessent has ordered geotracking of the money flowing out of Minneapolis and St.
- 2:14:10SPEAKER_05: Paul.
- 2:14:12SPEAKER_05: Yeah, and I didn't get to this reporting on uh Friday's show.
- 2:14:16SPEAKER_05: I had the clip, but with the Freedom Friday crew, I just didn't get a chance to dive into it.
- 2:14:19SPEAKER_05: But apparently there's going to be a surge of uh uh government uh investigative officials coming here to Minnesota to look into a host of different issues.
- 2:14:27SPEAKER_05: This obviously being one of them regarding uh potential fraud and money being sent uh overseas, but also the threat against the mall of America that could have turned uh deadly when it came to that monk gathering.
- 2:14:39SPEAKER_05: Thank goodness they ended up catching that would-be terrorist at the time.
- 2:14:42SPEAKER_05: And of course, everything regarding um Representative uh Ilhan uh Omar.
- 2:14:46SPEAKER_05: Your comments coming up in just a moment, 651-964-0294.
- 2:14:50SPEAKER_05: And at 8 30 this morning, you do not want to miss my conversation with Scott W.
- 2:14:54SPEAKER_05: Johnson.
- 2:14:55SPEAKER_05: This was an individual at the forefront of doing the investigative work over a decade ago into Ilhan Omar.
- 2:15:02SPEAKER_05: Much of what you're seeing put forward outside of Minnesota, where people talk about these revelations, doing nothing with my fingers.
- 2:15:09SPEAKER_05: Well, it's new to them because it's new to them.
- 2:15:12SPEAKER_05: Here in Minnesota, again, for over 10 years, we've known about a lot of this.
- 2:15:16SPEAKER_05: It just finally took the Trump administration to actually move forward and do something about it.
- 2:15:21SPEAKER_05: And so we'll talk with Scott Johnson coming up at 8:30.
- 2:15:24SPEAKER_05: Don't go anywhere.
- 2:15:24SPEAKER_05: You're listening to the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 2:15:28SPEAKER_46: Think about it.
- 2:15:29SPEAKER_46: A famous politician once said, you're entitled to your opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts.
- 2:15:35SPEAKER_46: But in a world full of AI and fake news, where can Minnesotans find the facts?
- 2:15:40SPEAKER_46: Center of the American Experiment is Minnesota's go-to source for fact-based analysis and common sense solutions for taxes, energy, public safety, and our kids' education.

- 2:15:58SPEAKER_05: Selling your home is more than just putting a sign in the yard.
- 2:16:02SPEAKER_05: It's about making the right decisions before that sign ever goes up.
- 2:16:05SPEAKER_05: And that's the advisor advantage you get from Hallway North Real Estate Advisors when you talk to them about selling your home.
- 2:16:12SPEAKER_05: Instead of simply telling you what your home is worth and putting it on the market, Hallway North Real Estate Advisors help you maximize the value before it's listed.
- 2:16:22SPEAKER_05: Maybe there's a new remodeling project that makes sense, or one that doesn't.
- 2:16:27SPEAKER_05: It's certainly worth giving them a call before you spend the money.
- 2:16:30SPEAKER_05: And when it's ready, they'll get it cleaned, staged, photograph, listed, and advocate for your best offer.

- 2:18:12SPEAKER_46: Center of the American Experiment does.

- 2:18:38SPEAKER_05: On the issue of the Plymouth Post Office at 3300 Plymouth Boulevard that shares its building with a mosque, let's get to some of your thoughts here on the John Justice Show presented by American Experiment.
- 2:18:49SPEAKER_16: Good morning, John.
- 2:18:50SPEAKER_16: As a commercial lender, I did look at a transaction in which this individual wanted to refinance his building down in Farmington, Minnesota.
- 2:18:59SPEAKER_16: And at this point in time, when I was looking at it, he had the post office as a tenant.
- 2:19:05SPEAKER_16: And I looked at the terms of the lease, and I was just apoplectic at how lucrative cash flows coming to this individual was because the post office was paying him handsomely for this, that, and the other thing.
- 2:19:20SPEAKER_16: So it should come as no surprise that this mosque is making a lot of coins off of U.S.
- 2:19:25SPEAKER_16: taxpayer dollars, and we got nothing to do with it as far as the same as the state of Minnesota goals or the citizens paying taxes.
- 2:19:50SPEAKER_09: And is all that being uh disclosed?
- 2:19:54SPEAKER_05: I do not know.
- 2:19:55SPEAKER_05: Again, just to get to the preliminary information.
- 2:19:58SPEAKER_05: So it was back in 2011, the Postal Service sold the$10,500 square foot property for$770,000.
- 2:20:06SPEAKER_05: So that's interesting in and of itself that this was owned by the post office, but they ended up selling it to the Islamic Center and then leased back the retail post office box area under a long-term deal.
- 2:20:20SPEAKER_05: I I I just I want to stress this point.
- 2:20:25SPEAKER_05: Keep in mind the date of 2011 versus 2026.
- 2:20:31SPEAKER_05: The difference is we have a much different mentality on these issues right now.
- 2:20:35SPEAKER_05: So point being that if this were to happen today, completely different ballgame.
- 2:20:41SPEAKER_05: This make if you have the United States Postal Service trying to go and sell a property to a mosque for them to have a post office, this is now news.
- 2:20:51SPEAKER_05: Everybody would be talking about it because of everything that we've been dealing with regarding the 90% of the fraud here in Minnesota wherein we lost billions of dollars, my money, your money, Devin's money, all of our money, right?
- 2:21:04SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 2:21:05SPEAKER_05: And 90% of that being perpetuated by the immigrant Somali community.
- 2:21:09SPEAKER_05: It would be major news.
- 2:21:10SPEAKER_05: Back then, not a big deal.
- 2:21:12SPEAKER_05: Back then, it was a much different mentality, a false mentality, but a much different mentality.
- 2:21:16SPEAKER_05: There was more of a willingness and an open arms approach when it came to individuals immigrating to the country, specifically from Somalia, under this notion that they would all assimilate because they're fleeing from a war-torn area.
- 2:21:29SPEAKER_05: They want to come to the greatest country on the planet.
- 2:21:31SPEAKER_05: So why wouldn't they embrace all of the values that we all collectively share?
- 2:21:35SPEAKER_05: And unfortunately, now, more than a decade later, we know the answer to that.
- 2:21:41SPEAKER_05: So back then, this was not nearly as controversial, is what I'm trying to say.
- 2:21:46SPEAKER_05: And so far, there's been no evidence whatsoever of any criminal activity.
- 2:21:50SPEAKER_05: This was a completely legal transaction, and what the government is doing and operating this post office inside the mosque is legal.
- 2:21:59SPEAKER_05: Not saying that it's right, not saying that it shouldn't be investigated and there shouldn't be questions raised, as we've been talking about on the show, but just trying to again make sure that we are being rational and using common sense in our in our discussion of this story that's now gone viral.
- 2:22:15SPEAKER_47: Good morning, John.
- 2:22:16SPEAKER_47: Great show so far.
- 2:22:21SPEAKER_47: Do post offices within a facility like that also follow federal guidelines that they can't ship certain items and packages from there or just saying substances, explosives, etc.
- 2:22:33SPEAKER_47: Right.
- 2:22:34SPEAKER_47: Forget about the money.
- 2:22:35SPEAKER_47: Could it be somewhere of terrorism being able to distribute uh weapons or devices?
- 2:22:43SPEAKER_05: All right.
- 2:22:43SPEAKER_47: So have a great day.
- 2:22:45SPEAKER_05: Two things on this.
- 2:22:46SPEAKER_05: One, yes, they absolutely would have to follow all the same uh guidelines.
- 2:22:50SPEAKER_05: Actually, a couple things on this.
- 2:22:51SPEAKER_05: One, yes, they would have to follow all the same guidelines.
- 2:22:54SPEAKER_05: Two, uh, could it be you could apply that same question to any post office regardless of of where it is?
- 2:23:00SPEAKER_05: Three, no evidence that that is taking place.
- 2:23:03SPEAKER_05: Which would be really stupid, by the way.
- 2:23:05SPEAKER_05: I just want to say for the sake of record.
- 2:23:08SPEAKER_05: First off, the employees working at the post office, from what I can gather based off the video shot by David Hoke and um the Zach influencer character, uh, it doesn't look like any of those employees are employed by the mosque.
- 2:23:22SPEAKER_05: They're employed by the federal government through the post office.
- 2:23:25SPEAKER_05: And so those would be the individuals that would be involved in any criminal uh activity.
- 2:23:30SPEAKER_05: And from what I can tell, there doesn't seem there's no evidence of that at at all.
- 2:23:36SPEAKER_05: So um so somebody went and watched the I watched the video.
- 2:23:41SPEAKER_05: I just at the time it was before I was doing my research, so I wasn't paying attention to what was on the walls of of the uh of the post office.
- 2:23:48SPEAKER_05: Um I did get a post from a friend of the show who said that um there is video from inside of the post office, and they couldn't see any religious items, at least not to their recollection.
- 2:23:59SPEAKER_05: It was all decorated in pink, probably for breast cancer awareness month.
- 2:24:04SPEAKER_05: So there you go.
- 2:24:06SPEAKER_05: All right, 651-964-0294.
- 2:24:11SPEAKER_05: Uh let's uh let's go here.
- 2:24:16SPEAKER_15: In 2011, we were only 10 years removed from 9-11 and until May 2011.
- 2:24:22SPEAKER_15: That's when we got Osama bin Laden.
- 2:24:24SPEAKER_15: So and in Minnesota specifically, there was a lot of talk about Christian churches that were failing and moths.
- 2:24:32SPEAKER_15: Muslim churches purchasing and becoming mosques.
- 2:24:36SPEAKER_15: So we were hyper-aware at the time.
- 2:24:38SPEAKER_15: It's just recency bias that's telling you that we were not as hyper-focused on it.
- 2:24:45SPEAKER_15: No, we were focused on it, and the agenda just got continued to be pushed through with the R.
- 2:24:49SPEAKER_05: Now listen, I still I I I I understand that, but I still disagree that you cannot, there is no comparison between between the two in terms of the of the coverage regarding the controversies swirling around the Somali immigrant community.
- 2:25:03SPEAKER_05: First off, you didn't have nearly as large of a Somali immigrant community back then.
- 2:25:08SPEAKER_05: And while there may have been some individuals that were focused on this still in the throes of a post-9-11 commentary uh taking place, uh, I would argue that the amount of coverage that Minnesota has received over the course of this year and even the end of last year pales in comparison to what was happening back then in 2011.
- 2:25:34SPEAKER_05: Yes, I'm sure that this raised the eyebrows of some individuals back then.
- 2:25:38SPEAKER_05: But my cursory look of any controversy relating to this in the research that I did this morning, albeit short and it just being me, I didn't find any major controversies associated with when in 2011 the United States Postal Service sold this property to an Islamic center.
- 2:25:56SPEAKER_05: Now, if there was, I missed it.
- 2:25:58SPEAKER_05: And I'm more than happy to go and share that on the uh on the show.
- 2:26:01SPEAKER_05: Listen, all of this is enough to go and stress you out.
- 2:26:05SPEAKER_05: But guess what?
- 2:26:06SPEAKER_05: You don't have to be stressed.
- 2:26:07SPEAKER_05: You can chill out.
- 2:26:08SPEAKER_05: You can do that with the spooky mini-leaf tonics.
- 2:26:11SPEAKER_05: And they have these amazing costumes that they're selling right now.
- 2:26:14SPEAKER_05: They're limited edition.
- 2:26:16SPEAKER_05: They're ghosts with witches' hats, and you can put them on top of your spooky mini-leaf tonics and enjoy them with friends and family if you're hosting Halloween parties this weekend.
- 2:26:24SPEAKER_05: They're spooky because there's no booze in the mini leaf tonics.
- 2:26:27SPEAKER_05: That's what makes them spooky.
- 2:26:29SPEAKER_05: You can also try the uh dark chocolates, the really effective triple diamond pain cream.
- 2:26:34SPEAKER_05: And of course, for me, when it comes to the night gummies, completely changed the game relating to um my ability to go and get a good night's sleep.
- 2:26:44SPEAKER_05: You can find all of these amazing products at minileaf.com, M-I-N-N-E-L E A F dot com.
- 2:26:51SPEAKER_05: That's minileaf.com.
- 2:26:53SPEAKER_05: Scott Johnson will be joining us in just a moment here on the John Justice show.
- 2:26:57SPEAKER_05: Don't go anywhere.
- 2:26:58SPEAKER_05: It's presented by American Experiment.
- 2:28:05SPEAKER_05: You can leave us a uh voice or text message on our blaster line, six five one nine six four zero two nine four.
- 2:28:12SPEAKER_05: You can also drop me an email, John.justice at American Experiment.org.
- 2:28:16SPEAKER_05: His first appearance on this iteration of the uh of the show.
- 2:28:20SPEAKER_05: Listeners uh to the uh past John Justice show know uh stranger is uh Scott Johnson, although it's been quite a long time since you and I have uh had a chance to uh to talk far too long.
- 2:28:30SPEAKER_05: But welcome to the show, uh Scott Johnson.
- 2:28:32SPEAKER_05: It's great to talk to you and to see you this morning.
- 2:28:34SPEAKER_41: Thanks, John.
- 2:28:35SPEAKER_41: Uh your invitation reminded me.
- 2:28:37SPEAKER_41: I I I've been saying I've been on the curious case for 10 years, but so have you.
- 2:28:42SPEAKER_41: Uh I remember waking up one morning in 2016 after I started writing about Johan Omar and her marriage to her brother, and hearing you and Drew interview Priya Sam Sender, who followed me on the case and did unbelievable work.
- 2:28:57SPEAKER_41: Uh very adept at social media, which I was not.
- 2:29:01SPEAKER_41: So I really am glad to be back.
- 2:29:03SPEAKER_41: I appreciate your having me, John.
- 2:29:05SPEAKER_05: Well, holy cow, did you have uh did you have any expectation whatsoever that uh the spotlight would be back on the issue of Ilhan Omar the way that it is in your name would be thrust right into the middle of this because so many of the revelations that we've seen over the course of the past few weeks to us here in Minnesota, and certainly to you, because you reported on a lot of this over a decade ago, they're not really revelations at all.
- 2:29:32SPEAKER_05: We've known about this for years.
- 2:29:33SPEAKER_05: So are you surprised that this is where we are right now?
- 2:29:36SPEAKER_41: I thought that Ilhan Omar was untouchable.
- 2:29:40SPEAKER_41: And when President Trump started talking about her in the context of the larger epidemic of Somali fraud, I always say she's Somali fraud exhibit A, but when President Trump started talking about her and our problem with Somali fraud, last year my daughter asked me to write a column for the Washington Free Beacon, of which she's the editor, that was published in December 25.
- 2:30:03SPEAKER_41: That I uh they they called Yes, Ilhan Omar is Married to Her Brother.
- 2:30:07SPEAKER_41: And I reviewed my work over the past 10 years in in addition to Priya's and David Steinberg's, and I concluded that saying that uh she was going to get away with all of this.
- 2:30:19SPEAKER_41: But I think I'm wrong about that.
- 2:30:21SPEAKER_41: And you know, I I think I I think I've been mostly right in the reporting that I've done on her case in the past 10 years, but I think I got that wrong.
- 2:30:29SPEAKER_41: She, it turns out, is touchable.
- 2:30:32SPEAKER_05: So let's back up a little bit for those that are not familiar with uh with Scott Johnson.
- 2:30:37SPEAKER_05: Um, you know, familiarize the audience with a bit of your background and when did uh Ilhan Omar begin to pique your your interest, you know, to the point where you actually did, you know, some investigative work into her background.
- 2:30:51SPEAKER_41: Right.
- 2:30:51SPEAKER_41: Well, my background is I practiced law for 35 years, and after clerking for a federal appellate court for two years, uh I went to work at Fagri and Benson, where I worked with John Hinderacher for 16 years.
- 2:31:07SPEAKER_41: John and I were law partners, and somewhere along the way we discovered that we were on the same wavelength and started writing columns, uh, op-eds, and magazine articles together for 10 years.
- 2:31:19SPEAKER_41: And then John got interested in the internet and set up Powerline one weekend and um asked me to contribute to it as I had been to the columns and articles that we'd been writing.
- 2:31:30SPEAKER_41: So that got Powerline started in 2002.
- 2:31:33SPEAKER_41: In 2004, we had the 15 minutes of fame with the Rathergate story.
- 2:31:38SPEAKER_41: That, you know, when I talk to younger people, they have no idea what I'm talking about, but I'm afraid that might lead my obituary when the time comes.
- 2:31:46SPEAKER_41: Uh but this one, John, I started on the week after Ilhan Omer.
- 2:31:51SPEAKER_41: I had never heard her name before.
- 2:31:52SPEAKER_41: I bore her no personal animus.
- 2:31:55SPEAKER_41: But she she defeated Phyllis Khan, a 22-term incumbent state legislator, feminist heroine, in the DFL primary in August of 2016.
- 2:32:05SPEAKER_41: And uh I think early the next week, a reader sent me a link to what Omar last week called a Somali website called Somali Spot that talked about how she was married to two guys, one of whom she'd married in 2002.
- 2:32:21SPEAKER_41: I'll say husband number one, her real husband and father of her children.
- 2:32:26SPEAKER_41: And a second guy, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, in 2009, whom she was still legally married to.
- 2:32:34SPEAKER_41: And I thought, wow, that's kind of interesting.
- 2:32:37SPEAKER_41: This seemed to be written from inside the Somali community.
- 2:32:40SPEAKER_41: The post said that the second guy was her brother.
- 2:32:43SPEAKER_41: I wondered how I could look into the two marriages, and within a day or two, I found an official online Minnesota marriage database that I've never seen referred to before or since, except by me.
- 2:32:56SPEAKER_41: But I input Ilhan Omar's name and outpopped these two marriages, the one in 2002 to Ahmed Hirsi and the one in 2009 to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi.
- 2:33:08SPEAKER_41: So it the Somali Spot Post checked out as far as I could uh verify it.
- 2:33:13SPEAKER_41: When you had Priya Samsunder on the following week, she pointed out that the first marriage had never followed with uh they had applied for a wedding license, but that she'd never legally married her real husband, the father of her three children.
- 2:33:29SPEAKER_41: Um so I got that part of it wrong.
- 2:33:31SPEAKER_41: But but they were they they do claim to have been married in a in their faith tradition.
- 2:33:36SPEAKER_41: Every twist and turn in this complicated marriage history is explained by rep by Omar with reference to her faith tradition, air quotes.
- 2:33:46SPEAKER_41: Uh except this, which is never mentioned that that fraudulent marriage to her brother in 2009 is signed off on by a Christian minister named Wilesha Harris.
- 2:33:57SPEAKER_41: They always leave that out.
- 2:34:00SPEAKER_41: Ever asked her about it.
- 2:34:01SPEAKER_41: The obvious reason that it was signed off on by a Christian minister is that the marriage was a sham.
- 2:34:08SPEAKER_41: And uh she didn't get divorced from Ilhan from Ahmed Nur Saeed Alme, excuse me, uh, until 2017 when she began to try to clear things up.
- 2:34:19SPEAKER_41: So that's where I came in, was writing about this.
- 2:34:21SPEAKER_41: John, that week, before I wrote anything about it, I looked up her campaign website and found she was advertising as her real husband and the father of her children, husband number one, no reference to husband number two.
- 2:34:36SPEAKER_41: I got the names of her campaign manager and campaign communication spokesman.
- 2:34:41SPEAKER_41: I I called and emailed them a request for a comment on the information in this Somali spot post.
- 2:34:48SPEAKER_41: And I did get hold of the campaign communication spokesman by cell phone that Friday morning, and she told me I'll get back to you this afternoon.
- 2:34:59SPEAKER_41: She did not get back to me that afternoon, but a criminal defense attorney named Jean Brandle did.
- 2:35:06SPEAKER_41: And I was familiar with Brandle because she represented, this is August 2016 now.
- 2:35:12SPEAKER_41: I'd seen a court representing one of the nine Somalis, it was ten, one had been killed, one of the nine Somalis who were charged with uh terrorism in the May 2016 trial in federal court here before Judge Michael Davis.
- 2:35:25SPEAKER_41: I'd seen her in court, she didn't impress me, she pleaded her guy guilty, but she wrote me a very nasty email uh with a statement allegedly from the campaign uh calling me a bigot and not responding to my request for a comment on the Somali spot post information.
- 2:35:43SPEAKER_41: And I thought, wow, that's interesting.
- 2:35:46SPEAKER_41: It's a non-response response classic.
- 2:35:49SPEAKER_41: And uh I asked John to take a look.
- 2:35:52SPEAKER_41: I got this ready to post that Friday night, and I did.
- 2:35:56SPEAKER_41: Uh John asked me to amp it up a little bit, but uh uh I I I posted it as Ilhan Omar, her back pages, in in mid-August uh 2016.
- 2:36:06SPEAKER_41: That's where I came into this story, and you know, a lot of information has come out since then, much of which I'd I reported.
- 2:36:14SPEAKER_41: Priya was an unbelievably valuable contributor through through the social media that she collected to confirm the story that we'd reported.
- 2:36:23SPEAKER_41: And David Steinberg picked up the scent and has reconstructed her real family in a post he wrote for us called Tying Up Loose Thrifts in the Curious Case.
- 2:36:33SPEAKER_41: So I've been writing about it for 10 years.
- 2:36:35SPEAKER_41: I I think at this point I I could go toe-to-toe with Marcel Proust and turn remembrance of Omar's past uh and the length of the stuff that I've written.
- 2:36:43SPEAKER_41: But that's where I came in.
- 2:36:44SPEAKER_41: And John, I just I never gave it up because I it's an unbelievable fraud.
- 2:36:50SPEAKER_41: The brazenness of it, I just couldn't get over.
- 2:36:53SPEAKER_41: And the more you look into it, the more obvious it is.
- 2:36:56SPEAKER_41: The only uh fact on the other side is her denial that she did what she did.
- 2:37:02SPEAKER_41: Her denial is a fact, but it's not true.
- 2:37:06SPEAKER_05: So it that so it it sounds like that like there's no question in your mind.
- 2:37:11SPEAKER_05: Because a lot of people have made have made an issue, and I I say issue loosely, but they've they've drawn attention to the fact that this information has been out there for 10 years.
- 2:37:21SPEAKER_05: Nothing's been done about it.
- 2:37:23SPEAKER_05: So what's the difference now?
- 2:37:25SPEAKER_05: Why is it going to make any difference now?
- 2:37:26SPEAKER_05: And I've been making the point, in in my opinion, is just taken the will and desire of an administration to move forward and act upon the mountain of of evidence.
- 2:37:37SPEAKER_05: So the uh the the counterargument is that, well, there's no there, there, it's been out there for 10 years and nothing's happened.
- 2:37:42SPEAKER_05: So in in your mind, I mean, is there any doubt to any of what has been investigated and what potentially the federal government is looking into in in in your mind, Scott Johnson?
- 2:37:53SPEAKER_41: You know what, John, I actually was contacted by two ICE agents in January of this year who were investigating Omar, and I was impressed with how much they knew about her case.
- 2:38:06SPEAKER_41: They knew enough to give me a call.
- 2:38:08SPEAKER_41: They asked me to meet with them, and I met with them for an hour.
- 2:38:11SPEAKER_41: They, as I say, they knew a lot about the case because there's a there there.
- 2:38:16SPEAKER_41: When you say uh uh, you know, how much of it is true or whatever, I don't know what she has filed with the government, her passport applications, the immigration papers.
- 2:38:27SPEAKER_41: One of the tranches of evidence that came out was in 2019 when the state campaign finance board made its investigative file on Omar's 2016 legislative race available.
- 2:38:41SPEAKER_41: And I went and picked up a copy on a CD the Monday morning after it had been made available on a Friday afternoon.
- 2:38:49SPEAKER_41: And I couldn't believe what was in there.
- 2:38:51SPEAKER_41: But one of the things that was in there, I'm just reminded, speaking about this, was her people who were trying to figure out what are they going to do about this uproar that we created on Power Line.
- 2:39:02SPEAKER_41: You know, by the next week, the Star Tribune was running a page one story about the controversy that we'd created.
- 2:39:08SPEAKER_41: Patrick Kulik on the Star Tribune reporter called me for a comment.
- 2:39:12SPEAKER_41: He said, Scott, they've issued a statement denying that he was her brother.
- 2:39:16SPEAKER_41: And I asked him, what do you have to say?
- 2:39:18SPEAKER_41: And I asked him who they say he is.
- 2:39:22SPEAKER_41: And Patrick told me they won't tell me.
- 2:39:24SPEAKER_41: And I thought, wow, that's interesting.
- 2:39:27SPEAKER_41: His story didn't report that, it you know, reported a comment I I gave him in response to his question.
- 2:39:34SPEAKER_41: But that has stuck in my mind over the years, and he clearly knew there was a problem there.
- 2:39:38SPEAKER_41: They won't tell me.
- 2:39:39SPEAKER_41: So when I met with these ICE investigators, I asked them, you know, this stuff is so old, blah, blah, blah.
- 2:39:46SPEAKER_41: Um, what are you looking at?
- 2:39:48SPEAKER_41: And they said, you know, they're they were clearly looking at her immigration and naturalization issues.
- 2:39:53SPEAKER_41: Uh one of which I I mentioned to them in this state campaign finance board file, they Omar's campaign people, while this controversy was in process, they said we need to file a FOIA request for the documents she filed when they sought to get uh papers for her brother.
- 2:40:15SPEAKER_41: And I said, I know I'd really love to see that.
- 2:40:18SPEAKER_41: They filed a FOIA request with the Customs and Immigration Service for the stuff that Omar herself had filed.
- 2:40:25SPEAKER_41: And I said, Have you got that?
- 2:40:27SPEAKER_41: And it wasn't clear to me that they did, and I ended up making a copy for them of the documents that I'd gotten on the CD.
- 2:40:35SPEAKER_05: Uh is Is there anything that has emerged in the wake of the you know, the the raid that took place two weeks ago, the allegations, the potential of what the government is looking into?
- 2:40:47SPEAKER_05: Has there anything that has emerged out of that commentary that is newer information to you, Scott Johnson, that you weren't aware of before in your investigative work?
- 2:40:57SPEAKER_41: John, this is a bombshell, but last late last week, the the Department of Justice filed motion papers, a response to a motion for the media's request to see this search warrant that referred to Omar as Ilhan Nur Saeed Elmi, aka Ilhan Omar, which means to me that they have reconstructed her genuine family.
- 2:41:20SPEAKER_41: That they see that she came in fraudulently with another family, which is what we've been saying.
- 2:41:26SPEAKER_41: And uh and confirmed, I would say, everything uh we've been saying for the past ten years.
- 2:41:31SPEAKER_41: Ilhan Nur Saeed Elmi.
- 2:41:33SPEAKER_41: Gee, whose name is that like?
- 2:41:35SPEAKER_41: The guy she was illegally married to for eight years, uh Ahmed Nur Saeed Elmi.
- 2:41:42SPEAKER_41: So there you have it.
- 2:41:44SPEAKER_41: That they seem to have they are sitting on a lot of evidence that I think will become clear in the course of time.
- 2:41:51SPEAKER_05: So I'm gonna go back, I want to go back really quick to Phyllis Kahn.
- 2:41:54SPEAKER_05: Um I came in here to Minnesota right on the tail end of that.
- 2:41:57SPEAKER_05: That name, um, and I remember at the time, you know, being completely unfamiliar with Minnesota politics back then, especially when we get into these particular races.
- 2:42:07SPEAKER_05: But I do remember Phyllis Kahn and what a big deal it was that here you had Ilhan Omar coming in and defeating her.
- 2:42:13SPEAKER_05: Um, there's been a lot of discussion since the investigation, as we speculate, that, you know, Ilhan could not have achieved what she achieved without without help, without backing.
- 2:42:26SPEAKER_05: Um was there a lot of discussion back then when she defeated Phyllis Kahn about how she was able to go and do that?
- 2:42:33SPEAKER_05: Does this play into what we've um what we've learned just about the Somali immigrant community in and of itself and the factions that exist and the infighting going on?
- 2:42:43SPEAKER_05: I'm just curious to kind of get into a bit of uh of your thoughts on how Ilhan Omar was able to ri this meteoric rise that she had from, you know, immigrants to the legislature and then all the way up to a sitting member of Congress.
- 2:42:56SPEAKER_41: That's a really good question.
- 2:42:57SPEAKER_41: Uh I I would say part one is that her marriage represented a merger, her marriage to her real husband in in 2002 represented a merger of the two biggest Somali clans, which are not not necessarily friendly.
- 2:43:13SPEAKER_41: The Huala, I may not be pronouncing that right, and her clan, which is the Durad clan.
- 2:43:20SPEAKER_41: Uh so I thought that uh Omar's victory in that primary over Phyllis Khan uh represented you know demographic changes on the West Bank.
- 2:43:32SPEAKER_41: Her base was clearly Cedar Riverside and Little Little Mogadishu.
- 2:43:37SPEAKER_41: But she was campaigning in the university community, which is also a big part of that district 60B that Phyllis Khan had represented.
- 2:43:48SPEAKER_41: And uh, you know, there's an unpleasant aspect to it, uh, which you didn't represent, as I think that Omar tried to take advantage of the anti-Semitic wave uh in the Somali community.
- 2:44:01SPEAKER_41: And I know I've met with Phyllis since that, since her defeat, uh, and come to respect her greatly.
- 2:44:07SPEAKER_41: And she familiarized me with a part of the Omar campaign that said something like, you know, vote for vote for Ilhan, not the Jew.
- 2:44:19SPEAKER_05: So Ilhan Omar's made some interesting moves.
- 2:44:22SPEAKER_05: She kind of went quiet, and then she pops up in this what looks like uh, you know, sort of uh it was a rough look in the back of the car as she was traveling through Minneapolis asking for uh asking for donations, and then it shifted.
- 2:44:36SPEAKER_05: Suddenly now she became more vocal, did the interview with MS Now.
- 2:44:40SPEAKER_05: There was this, and we'll talk about it.
- 2:44:42SPEAKER_05: I know you have a piece up at Powerline, uh, this ridiculously staged video of uh Ilhan and her husband Tim Minette on this dock of the beach with this Somali song in the background that you get into the lyrics, it's rather controversial.
- 2:44:56SPEAKER_05: Um I'm convinced that this is all setting the stage for a post-Ilhan uh in Congress.
- 2:45:03SPEAKER_05: I feel like everything right now is trying to control the narrative.
- 2:45:07SPEAKER_05: As this moves through, I'm convinced there will be indictments.
- 2:45:10SPEAKER_05: She probably is not going to be able to survive them.
- 2:45:12SPEAKER_05: And this is all about making sure that they can keep her image where they want it for whatever she does post to everything that we're dealing with right now.
- 2:45:20SPEAKER_05: I'm just curious your thoughts, uh Scott Johnson, on how Ilhan Omar is now acting in response to all of this, hiring uh former Biden lawyers now, she's tapped them as well.
- 2:45:31SPEAKER_05: So what are you where do you think this is all heading and what do you make of how she's responding?
- 2:45:36SPEAKER_41: You know, I started getting calls from my Somali friends on Friday night about that video, which uh is in it has a Somali soundtrack, if I'm not mistaken, uh, uh of a rapper, uh, which is very threatening.
- 2:45:53SPEAKER_41: And my Somali acquaintances are hiding out.
- 2:45:58SPEAKER_41: They feel that they are being threatened by threats that are emanating from the Somali community in Amsterdam and Europe.
- 2:46:06SPEAKER_41: And it's you know really not not funny.
- 2:46:09SPEAKER_41: Uh they are taking it very seriously.
- 2:46:12SPEAKER_41: That's one aspect of uh of her response, I think.
- 2:46:16SPEAKER_41: Uh it's unbelievable to me that that that soundtrack accompanies that video, John.
- 2:46:21SPEAKER_41: It's it's not it's not uh sitting by the dock of the bay.
- 2:46:25SPEAKER_05: So uh there's hundreds of other choices they could have gone with.
- 2:46:30SPEAKER_05: There's this there's hundreds of top 40 hits they could have chosen if they wanted a soundtrack for it.
- 2:46:34SPEAKER_05: To choose that one seems incredibly, incredibly deliberate, Scott Johnson deliberate, Scott Johnson.
- 2:46:40SPEAKER_41: Um my daughter uh is the editor of the Washington Free Beacon.
- 2:46:44SPEAKER_41: She commiss commissioned a professional translation of that, uh of that, those lyrics which are included in a Washington Free Beacon article that I think you must have seen what I wrote about.
- 2:46:55SPEAKER_41: I quoted the chunk of it that beats on on the threats.
- 2:46:58SPEAKER_41: And uh I think she knows that she's in trouble.
- 2:47:01SPEAKER_41: She and she's got uh uh substantial legal help supporting her.
- 2:47:07SPEAKER_41: I am kind of uh mystified by her appearance on MS Now last week.
- 2:47:12SPEAKER_41: Um I I I I just I can't believe that it's advisable for her to keep talking in public.
- 2:47:18SPEAKER_41: And is she going forward with that appearance with Hassan Piker today?
- 2:47:21SPEAKER_41: Isn't she isn't she supposed to be supposed to be at that event?
- 2:47:24SPEAKER_41: Well, it seems to me like she's nailing down her base on the one hand and and getting uh uh significant legal advice on the other.
- 2:47:32SPEAKER_05: What do you think the strongest case that's been presented so far uh against her is?
- 2:47:36SPEAKER_05: Is it simply the the the false name?
- 2:47:39SPEAKER_05: I know there's a lot of other allegations that are out there, the backdating of her birthday.
- 2:47:43SPEAKER_05: Um I guess the you know the name would relate directly to her father or allegedly her father, who there's been some speculation that he may not have naturalized here in the United States appropriately, because the documentation on that is missing.
- 2:47:57SPEAKER_05: But I'm curious your thoughts on the most compelling case you think the government has against Ilhan Omar right now.
- 2:48:02SPEAKER_05: And again, without knowing exactly what it is that they are focused on.
- 2:48:06SPEAKER_41: You know, it's tough to guess, but I think there it's two pronged.
- 2:48:09SPEAKER_41: One is with respect to her her own naturalization and citizenship, and the other is with respect to her continuing misrepresentations using uh a false name.
- 2:48:19SPEAKER_41: And uh I I would think that's uh involves a number of incidences over the years that she's gonna have to deal with.
- 2:48:28SPEAKER_41: John, her father, I mean, that whole thing that she I think they came in with another family, the Omar family.
- 2:48:34SPEAKER_41: Uh it no one has ever followed up on this stuff.
- 2:48:38SPEAKER_41: In her memoir, she says she's one of seven siblings.
- 2:48:41SPEAKER_41: I can identify five.
- 2:48:43SPEAKER_41: They're all named Nur Saeed Elmi.
- 2:48:45SPEAKER_41: There's Layla Nur Said Elmi, there's Mohamed Nur Said Elmi, and there's her husbro, Ahmed Nur Sa'id Elmi.
- 2:48:53SPEAKER_41: They went to London.
- 2:48:55SPEAKER_41: The other half of the family was her father, Ilhan Omar, and her sister Sarah Noor.
- 2:49:01SPEAKER_41: Uh they came to Arlington, Virginia, and then Minneapolis.
- 2:49:06SPEAKER_41: The only identified sibling, this is, you know, this is ten years later, John, the only identified sibling uh that that she acknowledges is Sarah Noir.
- 2:49:15SPEAKER_41: Who are her other six siblings?
- 2:49:18SPEAKER_41: Nobody's ever asked her.
- 2:49:19SPEAKER_41: Well, they've asked, but she she won't say.
- 2:49:22SPEAKER_41: And uh, you know, that that whole uh nest of facts includes her father in her memoir, Omar refers to him as an educator.
- 2:49:33SPEAKER_41: If you look up the father's obituary on the Sahan Journal, Minneapolis publication, Year to the Somali Community, his obituary on the Sahan Journal website, it's completely adulatory about his military service as a Soviet-trained colonel in the Somali National Army.
- 2:49:56SPEAKER_41: No mention of his life as a an alleged educator.
- 2:50:01SPEAKER_41: Uh I think he was part of the problem that created the wave of refugees to the Twin Cities.
- 2:50:06SPEAKER_41: And he, you know, he's been held out as something other over the years.
- 2:50:09SPEAKER_41: I was going to say one other thing about about her memoir, but I'm having a Joe Biden moment and it slipped my mind.
- 2:50:14SPEAKER_41: It's just so much, so much of interest that that hasn't been followed up on.
- 2:50:19SPEAKER_05: So what's the simplest explanation?
- 2:50:21SPEAKER_05: So you have this this you have this family fleeing this civil war in Somalia, right?
- 2:50:29SPEAKER_05: And they're they're making their way west.
- 2:50:32SPEAKER_05: Uh Ilhan Omar is not related to this family directly through blood.
- 2:50:38SPEAKER_05: She's from another family.
- 2:50:39SPEAKER_05: That's what we're talking about.
- 2:50:40SPEAKER_05: But she becomes that's what we think.
- 2:50:41SPEAKER_05: So we th that's what we think.
- 2:50:43SPEAKER_05: I'm just I'm trying to come up with the simplest explanation.
- 2:50:45SPEAKER_05: So she basically attaches herself to this family in order to come to the United States um to gain citizenship status.
- 2:50:52SPEAKER_05: Is that the simplest explanation as to what transpired here?
- 2:50:55SPEAKER_05: Because I know there's been a there's been a lot of talk of who her father might have been, and I know some thoughts that he was actually the Somali dictator there, but I've not seen any uh credible evidence of that unless you have something to share.
- 2:51:08SPEAKER_41: No, I don't.
- 2:51:08SPEAKER_41: I I I have nothing on that, but my Joe Biden thought came back to me.
- 2:51:13SPEAKER_41: If you read her memoir in the first few pages, she talks she was living the life of Riley in Mog in Mogadishu, like uh uh in a walled luxury villa.
- 2:51:26SPEAKER_41: And it's it's inconsistent with her description of her father as an as an educator.
- 2:51:31SPEAKER_41: That's just another stray fact nobody's followed up on, but it's completely consistent with his being a senior officer in the Somali National Army.
- 2:51:40SPEAKER_41: And I I seriously doubt that he represented himself accurately if he uh applied for for naturalization.
- 2:51:50SPEAKER_05: Talking with uh Scott Johnson, uh before I let you loose this morning, just a couple of uh couple of things.
- 2:51:55SPEAKER_05: Uh first off, um, you know, I would be curious to get your thoughts overall.
- 2:52:00SPEAKER_05: You know, the Somali community is obviously now in the spotlight, more so than I've seen in the 10 years that I've been, you know, a talk show host here in the in the in the Twin Cities.
- 2:52:09SPEAKER_05: You know, you mentioned uh talking with some members of the Somali community in relation to what's happening with Ilhan Omar, uh those factions there potentially feeling threatened by this video that they put out.
- 2:52:20SPEAKER_05: But uh but Scott Johnson, I'd just be curious to get your thoughts on, because we haven't really talked much since all of the or at all, since all of the fraud, you know, uh uh, you know, has erupted here in the state, and 90% of that being conducted by the Somali community.
- 2:52:33SPEAKER_05: And I'd just be curious to know where your head is at regarding all of these controversies relating to this specific community.
- 2:52:40SPEAKER_41: Um I I wrote a long essay for Impromise published by Hillsdale that was published, it's a monthly publication that came out last January.
- 2:52:49SPEAKER_41: They have something like 7 million subscribers.
- 2:52:51SPEAKER_41: Uh I I'd urge your listeners to check it out.
- 2:52:54SPEAKER_41: It's it's all about the Somali fraud phenomenon.
- 2:52:57SPEAKER_41: I really hadn't formulated my thoughts, but I covered the two Somali uh feeding our future fraud trials.
- 2:53:05SPEAKER_41: As you say, 90% of the defendants were Somali in this feeding our future case that involved uh you know theft of something like 250 or 300 million dollars.
- 2:53:16SPEAKER_41: And sitting through those trials uh and and watching Ilhan Omar, there's something, you know, there's a it's a very tribal culture.
- 2:53:26SPEAKER_41: There are five Somali clans, the two big ones that I I mispronounced a little uh a little while ago.
- 2:53:33SPEAKER_41: But I really question about how uh you know the the assimilability of a tribal culture.
- 2:53:41SPEAKER_41: The what I saw in those trials from witnesses who had participated and were trying to uh testify testifying in hopes of getting a lighter sentence, and from the defendants in those cases is that when it came to defrauding the man, they had no conscience.
- 2:54:00SPEAKER_41: And that's Ilhan Omar.
- 2:54:03unknown: Yeah.
- 2:54:04SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 2:54:05SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 2:54:06SPEAKER_41: That's my thought.
- 2:54:08SPEAKER_05: Um last thing before I let you go, boy, uh, this whole um controversy, uh, it really does sort of underscore at least watching this, you know, um, from my perspective, having the chance to talk to you, knowing that you've spent a better part of 10 years talking about this.
- 2:54:25SPEAKER_05: Just never give up when it comes to, you know, when it comes to the potential of individuals not being held accountable for something.
- 2:54:32SPEAKER_05: I mean, this is a really, really interesting story, especially considering how much of this has already been out in public and we're only now, you know, decade uh, you know, or more later seeing something actually be done about it.
- 2:54:46SPEAKER_05: And as I mentioned, kind of bookending our conversation, it I just it's gotta be fascinating for you to be sitting back after all these years and now doing all these interviews and talking about research.
- 2:54:55SPEAKER_05: It's over ten years old.
- 2:54:57SPEAKER_05: It's gotta be it's gotta be a pretty uh a pretty unique situation for for Scott Johnson.
- 2:55:01SPEAKER_41: John, I've been saying over the years, I've been beating my head against the wall uh on Ilhan Omar for 10 years.
- 2:55:07SPEAKER_41: And I gotta say, uh this is the first relief I've had in one of these, you know, things I've gotten obsessed with to have it in somebody else's hands.
- 2:55:18SPEAKER_41: When I met with those uh ICE agents in January last year, I thought this is great.
- 2:55:24SPEAKER_41: You know, I've done my part, and that's really all I can say.
- 2:55:28SPEAKER_41: I I've tried to do my best.
- 2:55:30SPEAKER_41: Uh I hope not to be embarrassed at this stage of my career.
- 2:55:34SPEAKER_41: I think I'll be vindicated, but I really want to uh turn the spotlight to people like Priya and David Steinberg, who really uh have persisted and developed the story in a way that it never would have.
- 2:55:48SPEAKER_41: John, you know, I I've I've always responded to other reporters who've asked me for comments or help about this or that.
- 2:55:55SPEAKER_41: And I I think back to Cheryl Gay Stober Stolberg, who did a profile of Omar.
- 2:56:00SPEAKER_41: For the New York Times in 2018.
- 2:56:02SPEAKER_41: And then after that, the thing that is just still under my skin is a guy for the New Yorker with their alleged fact checkers named Benjamin Wallace Wells, who, you know, he he he names me, but he doesn't specifically say I'm a conspiracy theorist.
- 2:56:17SPEAKER_41: Everyone is big into this conspiracy theory thing.
- 2:56:19SPEAKER_41: I'm gonna have a long, a long uh uh summary of my posts on on this that go back to 2019 on the whole conspiracy theory.
- 2:56:29SPEAKER_41: The conspiracy theory thing is a conspiracy.
- 2:56:32SPEAKER_41: You know, I don't have a conspiracy.
- 2:56:36SPEAKER_41: I got fa facts.
- 2:56:37SPEAKER_41: But these people who who use the term conspiracy theory are conspiracy theorists, that's for sure.
- 2:56:43SPEAKER_05: Pretty incredible.
- 2:56:44SPEAKER_05: Uh Scott Johnson, thank thank you so much for coming on the show this morning.
- 2:56:48SPEAKER_05: It's great to see you, great to talk with you.
- 2:56:50SPEAKER_05: And last uh last question before I let you go.
- 2:56:53SPEAKER_05: How soon uh do you have any expectation on how soon you think potential indictments come down?
- 2:56:58SPEAKER_41: Well, I it would be after the election, so we're getting pretty close to that.
- 2:57:01SPEAKER_41: And uh it looks to me like the investigation is still in process with respect to that warrant, but I think it's gonna be I'll say, I'll take a wild guess and say this year.
- 2:57:12SPEAKER_05: All right.
- 2:57:12SPEAKER_05: Scott Johnson, thank you so much for the time.
- 2:57:15SPEAKER_05: Powerline, uh, Powerline blog is where you can find his writings.
- 2:57:17SPEAKER_05: I'm looking forward to that uh uh to that uh profile you're gonna put out to sort of own all those conspiracy theorists from the past.
- 2:57:24SPEAKER_05: And it was great talking with us uh with you this morning, my friend.
- 2:57:27SPEAKER_05: Thanks for having me, John.
- 2:57:29SPEAKER_05: All right, before we go and uh we uh we wrap things up uh for a uh Monday.
- 2:57:33SPEAKER_05: I do have a couple of items that I want to get to just briefly.
- 2:57:36SPEAKER_05: Um Scott Johnson mentioned uh this uh podcast recording that is supposed to be taking place today.
- 2:57:43SPEAKER_05: Uh Hassan Piker's sold-out event, hosted by State Senator Omar Fate.
- 2:57:48SPEAKER_05: Representative Ilhan Omar is supposed to be there as well.
- 2:57:50SPEAKER_05: We'll certainly be covering it on tomorrow's show.
- 2:57:53SPEAKER_05: Backlash because of Pikers' controversial past to comments, his anti-Semitic statements, his statements saying that uh America deserved 9-11.
- 2:58:01SPEAKER_05: It's aimed at mobilizing young voters.
- 2:58:03SPEAKER_05: It has been criticized by both Republicans and DFLers, including Ken Martin, who had this to say at a campaign stop uh heading into the weekend.
- 2:58:18SPEAKER_39: But he does not represent the Democratic Party.
- 2:58:20SPEAKER_39: Uh, and he certainly doesn't represent the viewpoints of almost every one of our candidates and our elected officials.
- 2:58:26SPEAKER_39: And so that's all I'll say on that.
- 2:58:28SPEAKER_05: Well, he certainly represents the viewpoints of Omar Fate and Ilhan Omar, since they're going to be the ones that are uh at his event and that of uh attorney general uh thief uh Ellison, who uh talked on camera to Hassan Piker about what a cool dude he was and the great work that he was doing.
- 2:58:44SPEAKER_05: So we'll have a recap of uh that coming up on uh tomorrow's show.
- 2:58:48SPEAKER_05: Last thing I want to share with you today uh here on the show, and it just makes me laugh.
- 2:58:54SPEAKER_05: So uh Scott Jensen, a state auditor candidate, uh sat down with uh Liz Cullen from uh Alpha News uh recently.
- 2:59:01SPEAKER_05: Um Jensen uh noted that uh uh Filipovich, his rival on the DFL side, worked for an accounting firm whose owner swindled$235,000 from a Duluth area chamber of commerce.
- 2:59:16SPEAKER_05: Filipovich worked for Eagle Accounting from 13 to 2019, according to court documents.
- 2:59:21SPEAKER_05: Criminal activity occurred between 2017 and 2019.
- 2:59:25SPEAKER_05: So they sat down um for a uh an event on, I can't, I think it was at issue, if I'm not mistaken.
- 2:59:33SPEAKER_05: Um I need to find my oh here we go.
- 2:59:35SPEAKER_05: I need to find my uh my cheat sheet for my clip.
- 2:59:39SPEAKER_05: Um stayed on under candidate, uh Zach Philippo uh Philipovich, struggling uh to respond when called out by Scott Jensen over this uh particular issue in a recent uh uh debate.
- 2:59:52SPEAKER_05: This has got to be one of the most awkward exchanges that I've ever seen of a candidate in a long, long time.
- 2:59:59SPEAKER_29: Of protecting local taxpayers.
- 3:00:00SPEAKER_29: When you reference your bosses, are you talking about your boss who embezzled a quarter of a million dollars from the Duluth Chamber of Commerce?
- 3:00:09SPEAKER_03: I am talking, I'm talking in in general, and um, you know, that that you're you're talking about um you you brought that up.
- 3:00:16SPEAKER_29: I'm talking about the guy who hired you.
- 3:00:18SPEAKER_03: I am talking about people who are here doing everyday the everyday job of helping to protect local taxpayer dollars.
- 3:00:26SPEAKER_03: That instance that you brought up, he was prosecuted, he was caught, and I'll just remind people that it is clear that you do not know how an accounting office works because I was working on different projects, different uh down the hall from you.
- 3:00:41SPEAKER_03: Down the hall from you.
- 3:00:42SPEAKER_29: I was chairman of the board.
- 3:00:43SPEAKER_03: And Scott, Scott, it would be a little bit like me accusing you of medical malpractice.
- 3:00:48SPEAKER_29: No, a medical malpractice.
- 3:00:50SPEAKER_29: And when just because you're a felony.
- 3:00:53SPEAKER_29: We're talking about a felony, not a civil suit.
- 3:00:58SPEAKER_05: I shared this uh clip uh if you have a chance to uh watch it on my ex feed at John J O N Justice.
- 3:01:05SPEAKER_05: I would encourage you uh to do so.
- 3:01:07SPEAKER_05: Before I uh cut you loose uh this morning, I want to remind you that as you head into the holiday season, you might think this is not the time to go on a weight loss journey, but you would be wrong.
- 3:01:17SPEAKER_05: It's a great time because you can drop the weight before your Christmas parties, be a brand new you, have all your friends and family go, hey, you look great.
- 3:01:25SPEAKER_05: Always feels good, right?
- 3:01:26SPEAKER_05: You also change your relationship with food for the better so you can keep the weight off.
- 3:01:31SPEAKER_05: I'm talking about neutrowaves, all natural 40-day program.
- 3:01:34SPEAKER_05: If you're overweight and on medication and you're tired all the time, your body is telling you a story that when you step on the scale, you are completely unaware of.
- 3:01:43SPEAKER_05: Now, you may want to wait until after the holidays.
- 3:01:45SPEAKER_05: That's fine too.
- 3:01:46SPEAKER_05: Completely understandable.
- 3:01:47SPEAKER_05: Either way, reach out to Dr.
- 3:01:49SPEAKER_05: Bob at Neutrowave in Edyna today.
- 3:01:53SPEAKER_05: Schedule your free truth metabolic session and your free red light therapy session.
- 3:01:57SPEAKER_05: It is an almost$300 value for just going and reaching out and finding out about the program.
- 3:02:04SPEAKER_05: There is absolutely no obligation.
- 3:02:07SPEAKER_05: You have everything to gain except the weight and absolutely nothing to lose.
- 3:02:12SPEAKER_05: Tell them that John Justice sent you.
- 3:02:14SPEAKER_05: When you call nine five two six zero nineteen sixty-five, that's nine five two two six six six six six six zero one nine six five for Neutral Wave.
- 3:02:24SPEAKER_05: Individual results may vary.
- 3:03:17SPEAKER_05: Today is the calm before the storm.
- 3:03:20SPEAKER_05: And I really kind of wanted to set the baseline for the week of coming up.
- 3:03:24SPEAKER_05: I'm still very much convinced that indictment of Ilhan Omar is coming much sooner than it is uh later.
- 3:03:30SPEAKER_05: And if last week was any indication, every single time I ended the show, I end up over on X looking at all the news that's uh has uh broke in the middle of when the show is going on, right?
- 3:03:42SPEAKER_05: We're a week out from this election.
- 3:03:44SPEAKER_05: Anything is possible, and everybody is going to want to be making moves in order to bring out the vote for their side.
- 3:03:51SPEAKER_05: I thought this was really interesting.
- 3:03:52SPEAKER_05: This clip popped up online over the weekend.
- 3:03:55SPEAKER_05: This is Carl Sagan back from back in 1995.
- 3:04:00SPEAKER_05: He had released a new book, and there's a quote from that book that is incredibly interesting when you consider where we are as a society right now.
- 3:04:10SPEAKER_05: This is Carl Sagan back in 1995, predicting where we would be today.
- 3:04:15SPEAKER_50: He wrote the following back in 1995, and we quote, I have a foreboding of an America in my children's or grandchildren's time, when the United States is a service and information economy, when nearly all the manufacturing industries have slipped away to other countries, when awesome technological powers are in the hands of a very few, and no one representing the public interest can even grasp the issues, when the people have lost the ability to set their own agendas or knowledgeably question those in authority, when clutching our crystals and nervously consulting our horoscopes, our critical faculties in decline, unable to distinguish between what feels good and what's true, we slide almost without noticing back into superstition and darkness.
- 3:05:02SPEAKER_50: The dumbing down of America is most evident in the slow decay of substantive content in the enormously influential media, the 30-second sound bites now down to 10 seconds or less, lowest common denominator programming, credulous presentations on pseudoscience and superstition, but especially a kind of celebration of ignorance.
- 3:05:29SPEAKER_05: Pretty astonishing stuff.
- 3:05:33SPEAKER_05: Carl Sagan, 1995.

- 3:06:57SPEAKER_05: You never know what will unfold.
