A Florida woman tragically lost her life after being attacked by an alligator while swimming in the Econlockhatchee River — just one day after another alligator bite in Marion County. Emergency crews raced to the remote scene, where the victim’s companion described her injuries as “bad, real bad.” Despite medical efforts, she died en route to the hospital.
