Pender County Dishes Out 184K Summer Meals | Wilmington News
Pender County Schools wrapped up their massive Summer Meals program, distributing over 184,000 meals to kids and families — with a final pickup of 14,574 meals. Running at six locations including Atkinson Town Hall and C.F. Pope Elementary, the initiative gave families a full week’s worth of breakfast and lunch to keep kids fed during school breaks.
