Let's break it down: 便 means convenient, 利 means benefit, and 店 means store. 便利店. Luna: 便利店. 便利店. That sounds smooth. Lucas: Exactly. So if you want to go to a convenience store, you can say: 我想去便利店. Luna: 我想去便利店. I want to go to a convenience store. Lucas: Perfect. Now, let's say you want to buy a soda. 'Soda' is 汽水. So: 我想買汽水. Luna: 我想買汽水. I want to buy a soda. Lucas: Good. At the counter, the cashier might ask: 要唔要袋? 'Do you need a bag?' 要 means want, 唔要 means don't want, and 袋 is bag. Luna: 要唔要袋? So if I don't need a bag, I say 唔要. Lucas: Right.
