- 4:32Speaker 2: still gonna be a great show. And then tomorrow we'll
- 4:34Speaker 2: get back on your project. My brother, that's Western Tech
- 4:39Speaker 2: in the live chat showing is love right here on
- 4:42Speaker 2: the His Hot radio show, and let's dive into it.
- 4:49Speaker 2: You're gonna stop the comparison game. Now, let's jump over
- 4:55Speaker 2: to Galatians chapter six, verse four. Galatian chapter six, verse four.
- 5:03Speaker 2: But let every man prove his own work, and then
- 5:08Speaker 2: shall he have rejoicing in himself alone and not in another.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Let me say that again. Let every man prove his
- 5:18Speaker 2: own work. So we got to prove our own work
- 5:22Speaker 2: before a God and let it so, then he shall
- 5:26Speaker 2: have rejoicing in himself. This is not selfish.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Right.
- 5:31Speaker 2: God wants us to rejoice in ourselves as we prove
- 5:35Speaker 2: the word of God in our lives. And we don't
- 5:38Speaker 2: have to rejoice in another. We don't have to compare
- 5:41Speaker 2: ourselves with other people. See here's the truth. God doesn't
- 5:46Speaker 2: compare us with other people. He doesn't compare us. He
- 5:50Speaker 2: calls us. That's what he does. He calls each and
- 5:53Speaker 2: every person individually. Comparison is the thief of joy. Comparison
- 6:01Speaker 2: can take away of joy, and it can murder your
- 6:05Speaker 2: very purpose. You see how dangerous this is. Your very
- 6:11Speaker 2: purpose can be murdered when you compare yourself with others. Now,
- 6:16Speaker 2: let's talk through three spiritual dangers of comparison and God's
- 6:22Speaker 2: antidote for each one. The first one, in comparison, it
- 6:27Speaker 2: breeds insecurity. It does. It affects us. It can breed
- 6:33Speaker 2: in security. Now, if we go to Two Corinthians, Chapter ten,
- 6:37Speaker 2: verse twelve, coming at you from the King KJV. But
- 6:43Speaker 2: they measure themselves by themselves and comparing themselves among themselves
- 6:49Speaker 2: are not wise. It's not wise to do this. Comparison
- 6:55Speaker 2: says I'm not good enough, but God says you're fearfully
- 7:01Speaker 2: and wonderfully made. Let me say that again. Comparison. When
- 7:06Speaker 2: we compare ourselves with someone else, we say we're not
- 7:09Speaker 2: good enough. But God what he says about us is
- 7:15Speaker 2: that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and man Number two.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Comparison destroys contentment. It can destroy our contentment. Now go
- 7:30Speaker 2: to Philippians chapter four, verse eleven. Philippians four eleven. Not
- 7:37Speaker 2: that I speak in respect of want, I have learned
- 7:42Speaker 2: in whatsoever state I am in. We're therewith to be content.
- 7:50Speaker 2: To say that again, not that I speak in respect
- 7:53Speaker 2: of want. If I have learned in whatsoever state I
- 7:57Speaker 2: am in, therewith to be content. Contentment isn't laziness. His
- 8:05Speaker 2: confidence that God is still working in our lane. When
- 8:12Speaker 2: you say that again, contentment is not laziness. Is confidence
- 8:17Speaker 2: that God is still working in our lane, working in
- 8:21Speaker 2: your lane, working in my lane. We can be content
- 8:26Speaker 2: that God is doing something in us. All right, let's
- 8:29Speaker 2: keep going. Comparison distracts from purpose. It can distract you.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Distractions can be deadly. Hebrews chapter twelve, verse one KJV.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Let us run with patience the race that is set
- 8:46Speaker 2: before us. Again, let us run with patience the race
- 8:52Speaker 2: that is set before us. So you can't run forward
- 8:56Speaker 2: when you're always looking sideways. You know what I'm saying.
- 9:00Speaker 2: How you're gonna win the race if you're running backwards,
- 9:02Speaker 2: I mean, if you're looking backwards or yeah, running backwards
- 9:06Speaker 2: or running sideways, you're looking all around. No, you gotta
- 9:10Speaker 2: stay focused. You gotta keep your head straight straight ahead. Now,
- 9:19Speaker 2: let's look at God's solution. Let's look at God's remedy.
- 9:27Speaker 2: His remedy is to find our identity in Christ Jesus.
- 9:32Speaker 2: We don't have to find our identity, our identity in others.
- 9:36Speaker 2: We find it in Christ Jesus. Ephesians, chapter two, verse ten.
- 9:42Speaker 2: For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus, unto
- 9:46Speaker 2: good works. They said that again, for we are His
- 9:50Speaker 2: workmanship created in Christ Jesus, unto good works. You are
- 9:58Speaker 2: custom made with a divine blueprint. God didn't mass produce
- 10:08Speaker 2: your purpose and he gave it to millions of other
- 10:12Speaker 2: people that can fulfill your purpose. No, you are unique.
- 10:19Speaker 2: You are custom made. God has an original blueprint for you.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Stay in your lane. I need to stay in my lane. Amen.
- 10:31Speaker 2: The last scripture we got on here is Psalms chapter
- 10:34Speaker 2: one thirty nine. Psalms one thirty nine, Chapter fourteen. It says,
- 10:42Speaker 2: I will praise THEE for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I will praise THEE. See, if we focus on praising God,
- 10:52Speaker 2: focus our attention on him, we won't have time to
- 10:55Speaker 2: compare ourselves with other people. Amen. You see every fingerprint,
- 11:03Speaker 2: every calling, every testimony, It's yours for a reason. Embrace it.
- 11:12Speaker 2: It belongs to you. Embrace it. And I want to
- 11:17Speaker 2: share something that just happened to me. And to be honest,
- 11:22Speaker 2: this blew me away. I have to be completely transparent
- 11:28Speaker 2: with y'all. This blew me away, you see, as I've
- 11:42Speaker 2: shared with y'all on this podcast. Not sure if you've
- 11:47Speaker 2: heard it, check out the other episodes. There's a little
- 11:50Speaker 2: background in my story that I opened the first Christian
- 11:53Speaker 2: hip hop nightclub here in Las Vegas called Club His Hot. Also,
- 12:03Speaker 2: I was starting a label more like a collective of
- 12:08Speaker 2: artists and at Zone three. That's why I show him
- 12:13Speaker 2: much love. He was one of the first ones to
- 12:16Speaker 2: connect with me on that and then a couple of
- 12:20Speaker 2: artists came and we all came together and I had
- 12:24Speaker 2: stopped rapping for a long time. Man, I had a
- 12:27Speaker 2: hurtful experience in church. You know people say church heart, Well,
- 12:32Speaker 2: I don't consider it church heard. It was like religion,
- 12:35Speaker 2: religion hurt right, And so dealing with this, I stopped
- 12:44Speaker 2: all my activity as far as music, recording, producing and
- 12:48Speaker 2: whatever else. But finally I shook it off. I shook
- 12:54Speaker 2: off the funk, and I decided to serve God again
- 12:59Speaker 2: and get back into the music. So, long story short,
- 13:04Speaker 2: I started recording again. I started rapping again. I started
- 13:07Speaker 2: rapping with the His Hot crew. We started going around
- 13:11Speaker 2: the city, started going around doing things, and our heart
- 13:14Speaker 2: was to reach souls right, to reach souls for the loss.
- 13:18Speaker 2: That's always been our heart. But I was getting feedback.
- 13:24Speaker 2: People were saying that they didn't like my flow, they
- 13:27Speaker 2: didn't like the way I rapped, that my style was
- 13:30Speaker 2: old schooled and dated, that it wasn't relevant, and all
- 13:33Speaker 2: this stuff. So that really discouraged me. And in the
- 13:37Speaker 2: music industry, it's a lot of y'all know it's cut
- 13:41Speaker 2: through it anyway. And I love to be honest with
- 13:47Speaker 2: my people, the people that allow me to pour into them.
- 13:50Speaker 2: And when we sharing the word together, you know, because
- 13:54Speaker 2: it might help somebody else, you know. But I fell
- 13:58Speaker 2: in love of rap since I was twelve years old,
- 14:01Speaker 2: and that was my biggest dream, was to be a
- 14:03Speaker 2: rap artist. And so coming back and just receiving that
- 14:09Speaker 2: type of feedback, and then I started comparing myself with
- 14:13Speaker 2: others and I'm like, oh, man, they're sick, they're this.
- 14:16Speaker 2: I need to do it like them now. I've always
- 14:19Speaker 2: felt that I wanted to be original, right, that I
- 14:22Speaker 2: had my own stuff to say and spit on these tracks.
- 14:26Speaker 2: But I wasn't too much of a fan of trying
- 14:28Speaker 2: to sound like somebody else, you know. I don't want
- 14:32Speaker 2: to sound like Kendrick Lamar. I don't want to sound
- 14:34Speaker 2: like these other artists out there. But it was weaning
- 14:39Speaker 2: on me. So it did discourage me because I was comparing.
- 14:44Speaker 2: But I know God had called me to do this,
- 14:47Speaker 2: and so I dabbled in it. I dabbling in and
- 14:49Speaker 2: I've been praying to God and I don't know, it's
- 14:52Speaker 2: just things in me just have been holding me back. Man,
- 14:56Speaker 2: I can't even describe it, but this is what happened
- 14:59Speaker 2: to me. And this really opened up my eyes. The
- 15:08Speaker 2: other day, I I just did a random post. I
- 15:12Speaker 2: believe I was on Facebook. I posted it. I think
- 15:15Speaker 2: I posted the radio show, and there was someone that
- 15:18Speaker 2: was like sharing the post and liking it and showing up.
- 15:23Speaker 2: And I'm just, you know, reaching out because I appreciate
- 15:26Speaker 2: every bit of support that I received. So I just
- 15:29Speaker 2: reached out to him and just told them, thank you,
- 15:32Speaker 2: thank you for sharing that. This individual hits me back
- 15:40Speaker 2: and tells me that I'm one of their all time
- 15:43Speaker 2: favorite rappers. I'm like, whoa what? No one has ever
- 15:52Speaker 2: said that to me. And here I am struggling, comparing myself,
- 15:59Speaker 2: thinking that I'm not good, and I'm thinking that I'm
- 16:01Speaker 2: this and nanny other knowing what God told me, and wow,
- 16:06Speaker 2: it's like, it's okay to be somebody's favorite rapper. It's
- 16:11Speaker 2: okay for some people to like you. But this individual
- 16:14Speaker 2: said I was when they're all time favorite rappers and
- 16:20Speaker 2: that just came random. So hopefully that will encourage somebody
- 16:24Speaker 2: out there not to compare yourself with other people. Do
- 16:28Speaker 2: what God has called you to do. And yes, this
- 16:31Speaker 2: encouraged me to get back in the studio. So hey,
- 16:35Speaker 2: if I'm on your all time favorite rappers or let
- 16:38Speaker 2: me get some stuff going. You know what I'm saying.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Let me get it out there. All right. With that said,
- 16:46Speaker 2: let's go ahead and get to some music. I'm gonna
- 16:49Speaker 2: go ahead and get some God did right here his
- 16:57Speaker 2: high radio.
- 17:06Speaker 3: But guys, the.
- 17:24Speaker 4: King of music, what up? Yeah? God did my squad?

- 17:46Speaker 3: Tell my high lists clothes. I'm out here, try and
- 17:48Speaker 3: win souls. Go tell them my damn foe. When the
- 17:50Speaker 3: pressure came, I was smoking at every change. Christ came
- 17:53Speaker 3: and broke every change. That's the name above every name.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Say my soul, give them everything.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Now it's so Jesus to the death of me.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Get up. And that's when you go see aggressive me.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Catch me here my prayer closet. You go see that

- 18:27Speaker 4: Look look look I ain't doing.
- 18:32Speaker 5: God did it so don't look at me. He the
- 18:34Speaker 5: one that cut the strings and ended all the puppetry.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Stuck in sin, couldn't help myself. I left it up
- 18:39Speaker 5: to him, because you'll be told, I'd probably still be
- 18:41Speaker 5: bound if it was up to me. Can't use the
- 18:43Speaker 5: word luckily it's salt, because if it's love for me,
- 18:45Speaker 5: ashamed of all my nakedness, he shed his blood to
- 18:48Speaker 5: cover me, condemnation free, but I can't say it.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Don't get tough for me. You ain't gotta like me,
- 18:52Speaker 4: but just love me. Bro you stuck with me.

- 20:48Speaker 3: said that you'll be saved if you said it and
- 20:50Speaker 3: you meant it. I watched every deemon tremble, let the
- 20:53Speaker 3: whisper in the mention of his name.
- 20:55Speaker 4: My God prays changed. Christ made purpose in the middle
- 20:58Speaker 4: of my pain in this only by grace.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Yes he did maybe ziging on the way he blessed

- 21:36Speaker 4: Most definitely preaching to the ones that feel like I
- 21:39Speaker 4: gotta let it breathe. Y'all remember me. If Jesus hadn't
- 21:43Speaker 4: stepped in, it would have been the death of me.

- 23:17Speaker 2: are just some things that that kind of came my
- 23:20Speaker 2: way today. So I wasn't able to upload your track.
- 23:23Speaker 2: But I got you brother, We're gonna get you tomorrow.
- 23:26Speaker 2: The enemy is defeated anyway, A man Doelujah? All right?
- 23:34Speaker 2: All right, well let's get you some c hh news.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Dayton just dropped his latest single called war Cry. This
- 23:48Speaker 2: is shaking the Kena with fire. He's dropping some bars
- 23:52Speaker 2: and some deep spiritual convictions. So check out Dayton. Check
- 23:58Speaker 2: out that track. Diddy has war Cry, y'all. He is
- 24:05Speaker 2: one of my favorite, one of my all time favorite
- 24:08Speaker 2: Christian rappers. You know I can. I'm gonna start using it.
- 24:10Speaker 2: I'm'a start identifying my all time favorites. And yes, another
- 24:15Speaker 2: one of my all time favorites is Zone three. My brother.
- 24:18Speaker 2: I've always admired your gift and your talent. Man, allow
- 24:23Speaker 2: God to use you, my brother. If you're out there listening,
- 24:27Speaker 2: I ain't gonna compare myself with you, though, man, because
- 24:30Speaker 2: you know that I don't give me your trouble. You
- 24:31Speaker 2: know what I'm saying, And now you're sick with it?
- 24:34Speaker 2: My brother, man, I just love it. I think it's
- 24:37Speaker 2: amazing when people choose to live, to give their gifts
- 24:42Speaker 2: and talents for the Lord, you know, cause if you're
- 24:46Speaker 2: talented and gifted, you it's easy to go out into
- 24:49Speaker 2: the world, you know what I mean, and try to
- 24:52Speaker 2: sell yourself, you know what I mean, Try to make
- 24:54Speaker 2: as much money as you can. The temptation is there, man.
- 25:00Speaker 2: But amen, all right, all right, now it's time for
- 25:08Speaker 2: you know what time it is, time for the joke
- 25:11Speaker 2: of the day. Get your juices. Flowing humor is good
- 25:18Speaker 2: like a medicine is good for the soul, and so
- 25:22Speaker 2: I like to take a prescription every day, a joke
- 25:25Speaker 2: of the day, you know what I'm saying. Let me
- 25:27Speaker 2: see what we got on deck. And a lot of
- 25:30Speaker 2: them are corny, some are funny. My brother's zone he
- 25:34Speaker 2: said in the life chat that they're corny funny. I'll
- 25:38Speaker 2: take it. I'll take it, all right. So why don't
- 25:44Speaker 2: skeletons ever go head to head in rap battles? Let
- 25:52Speaker 2: me say it again. Why don't skeletons ever go head
- 25:55Speaker 2: to head into rap battles because they don't have the
- 26:06Speaker 2: guts to spit bars, y'all. You get it. They don't
- 26:11Speaker 2: have the guts to spit bars, so they stay away
- 26:16Speaker 2: from rap battles. All right, all right, Yeah that was corny,
- 26:20Speaker 2: but it was corny funny. I want to give a
- 26:24Speaker 2: huge shout out too our local Las Vegas community. Shout
- 26:31Speaker 2: out to the Exchange Club doing things in our community,
- 26:35Speaker 2: Kingdom Minded, supporting ministry, supporting revivals, backing people up, blessing
- 26:41Speaker 2: people in our community. If you don't know who they are,
- 26:45Speaker 2: look them up. You can find them online. It's a
- 26:49Speaker 2: huge revival coming up pretty soon. So I'm gonna try
- 26:54Speaker 2: to get one of them on here so they can
- 26:55Speaker 2: share the news for that. And also, if you are
- 27:00Speaker 2: an artist, you got a project out, you got something

- 28:17Speaker 2: you're looking for some more write offs, we got you.
- 28:22Speaker 2: All right, Let's get back to our topic. As we
- 28:26Speaker 2: get ready to close out the segment for today, we
- 28:31Speaker 2: give you some final thoughts and then we're gonna pray out. Now,
- 28:35Speaker 2: let me leave you with this. If you're constans if
- 28:41Speaker 2: you're constantly comparing yourself, if you're constantly if you're always
- 28:46Speaker 2: looking around comparing yourself with this preacher, this church, this minister,
- 28:52Speaker 2: you will end up missing your calling. You get miss it.
- 28:57Speaker 2: There's a lot of music that I didn't put out
- 29:00Speaker 2: because of this. Who knows who could have got reached
- 29:04Speaker 2: and touched. How many more people out there could have
- 29:10Speaker 2: came and told me that you were one of my
- 29:12Speaker 2: all time favorite rappers. You see, God gave you unique
- 29:18Speaker 2: fingerprints to leave a unique impact. Let me say that again.
- 29:24Speaker 2: God gave you unique fingerprints so that you can leave
- 29:30Speaker 2: a unique impact. Maybe, just maybe I was the only
- 29:36Speaker 2: rapper out there that could have reached a certain group
- 29:40Speaker 2: of people. I don't know. I'll just go before God
- 29:45Speaker 2: that day and hopefully it's not too late. Hopefully God
- 29:49Speaker 2: is a guy that second chances, hopefully his grace will
- 29:52Speaker 2: cover me. But ask yourselves this. I'm being transparent, but
- 30:02Speaker 2: I'm tryna provoke you to consider. I'm tryna provoke you
- 30:12Speaker 2: to do a guy called you to do and stop
- 30:14Speaker 2: comparing yourself. I can never rap like Zone three. I
- 30:18Speaker 2: think he's one of the sickest out there. He's got
- 30:20Speaker 2: a fast flow, he's got bars, he's got a rhythm
- 30:24Speaker 2: that is like none other. I I I don't hear
- 30:26Speaker 2: anybody else out there rapping like my brother. But I
- 30:30Speaker 2: can't be mister his hot three. You know what I'm saying,
- 30:35Speaker 2: I gotta do a guy called mister his Hot to do.
- 30:40Speaker 2: And so with that, let's pray out. Father, we thank
- 30:48Speaker 2: you for making us wonderfully and uniquely in your image.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Help us stay focused on our own lane, celebrate others
- 31:04Speaker 2: without envy, and find joy in your purpose for our
- 31:09Speaker 2: own lives. You thank you, my father and Jesus' mighty name.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Amen and Amen, hallelujah, hallelujah, Thank you God. I don't
- 31:25Speaker 2: know about you, but this bless me today. Uh listen
- 31:34Speaker 2: your boy, Mister his Hot signing off. Remember, do not compare,
- 31:39Speaker 2: Just prepare, Just prepare yourself. Don't compare, walk in your calling.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Leave comparison alone. Stop playing the comparison game. Love your
- 31:53Speaker 2: own lane and shine for Jesus way he called you
