- 0:00Speaker 1: So people were kind of concerned about whether or not
- 0:03Speaker 1: the Fantasy show was going to happen. Four is out
- 0:07Speaker 1: on paternity leave. He's gonna be gone for a couple
- 0:09Speaker 1: of weeks. Oh good, don't worry. We got it covered
- 0:13Speaker 1: because my man be Dub is back in the house
- 0:17Speaker 1: and joining us for fantasy freaking football.
- 0:21Speaker 2: It's time to review your fantasy team.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Here down, commissioners.
- 0:29Speaker 2: It's time guy for fantasy freaking football ball.
- 0:33Speaker 1: So here's the thing. People probably don't understand this and
- 0:37Speaker 1: don't know this. Did Fantasy freaking football goes back what
- 0:42Speaker 1: fifteen years, maybe even longer than that. Yeah, because Brian
- 0:46Speaker 1: and I did Fantasy freaking football with the Chargers broadcast.
- 0:50Speaker 1: So before the Chargers pregame show started, we would do
- 0:54Speaker 1: the Fantasy show. And so this this goes back to
- 0:57Speaker 1: two thousand and five, six first somewhere around there, and
- 1:01Speaker 1: so we were doing the Fantasy show on the radio
- 1:04Speaker 1: for you know, fourteen years. We did it until the
- 1:07Speaker 1: Chargers left, and so then it became into the podcast
- 1:10Speaker 1: form which it is today where Thorn and I took over,
- 1:12Speaker 1: and so well, we we fired b Dub and so
- 1:18Speaker 1: b Dub and I would do the Fantasy show forever
- 1:21Speaker 1: and then now Thorn and I do it and b
- 1:23Speaker 1: dub is in other departments.
- 1:25Speaker 2: You know, you're you're you're.
- 1:27Speaker 3: I'm a sales your sales guy. You know I'm a
- 1:29Speaker 3: sales Yeah, let's be honest. I mean I brought Thorn
- 1:32Speaker 3: into this world, he really did, and he.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Took me out. Yeah.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Well, sometimes the you know what they say, the mentor
- 1:39Speaker 1: becomes the master or whatever. I don't know what the
- 1:41Speaker 1: hell that's saying is, but that's that's fitting.
- 1:43Speaker 2: You know whatever.
- 1:43Speaker 1: But but yes, you were you were taken out by
- 1:46Speaker 1: your boy Thor. And so when Thor went out, I said,
- 1:50Speaker 1: it's called beat Up back in. So it's a nice reunion.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Me and be dub Is good former roommates, longtime friends. Yes,
- 1:57Speaker 1: thirty years I've known this man. Can you believe that, Jamie?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Now thirty years me and beat Up go back heres
- 2:02Speaker 1: and we are in two fantasy leagues together. We have
- 2:06Speaker 1: been for for a very very long time. What's crazy.
- 2:08Speaker 1: I always call it the og league, which is the
- 2:11Speaker 1: league that you and I are in with your dad
- 2:13Speaker 1: and his buddies and all that stuff. And we've been
- 2:16Speaker 1: playing fantasy. I am one of the newer guys, and
- 2:19Speaker 1: I have been playing since ninety nine, isn't that crazy?
- 2:23Speaker 1: Like some of those guys have been playing since back
- 2:25Speaker 1: in the day when you would literally take out the
- 2:27Speaker 1: newspaper and write down the stats and do all that
- 2:30Speaker 1: stuff and then call the guy yeah and be like
- 2:32Speaker 1: this is the points I got, what you got and
- 2:34Speaker 1: all that stuff. So, I mean that league has been
- 2:36Speaker 1: around for what fifty years?
- 2:39Speaker 3: Really forty something years. I started officially when I was twelve. Yeah,
- 2:43Speaker 3: I'm fifty one, geez. So it just shows you how
- 2:45Speaker 3: long I've been in that league. But you're right, that
- 2:47Speaker 3: was the old at the back of the sporty news.
- 2:49Speaker 3: That was the bible that they had to like, you know,
- 2:51Speaker 3: call in to make transactions a man.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Yeah, Like we just went to the app into the
- 2:58Speaker 1: online thing, like what maybe, well it's been ten years ago,
- 3:01Speaker 1: years like ten years ago, and even then was like
- 3:03Speaker 1: that was a tough transition for these guys because.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Some of the things, it's it's so archaic and its
- 3:07Speaker 3: points only. Yeah, even now it doesn't necessarily.
- 3:11Speaker 1: There's arguments, you know, should we do this and should
- 3:13Speaker 1: we do that, And we're like, oh jeez me and
- 3:15Speaker 1: just sit back and go all right, well, I get it.
- 3:17Speaker 3: I used to get real frustrated, and I'm just like
- 3:18Speaker 3: it's I wanted to and you always say it, you
- 3:21Speaker 3: want this to go long as long as.
- 3:22Speaker 2: It possibly can.
- 3:23Speaker 3: And I think there's still four charter members from the
- 3:26Speaker 3: initial nineteen seventy nine season.
- 3:28Speaker 1: And some of these guys, I don't even think they
- 3:29Speaker 1: watch football anymore. They just like being part of it, right,
- 3:32Speaker 1: you know, So they're not retiring anytime too, and so
- 3:34Speaker 1: they're just around. So we've been in that league for
- 3:36Speaker 1: twenty six years together, and so you know, been around
- 3:40Speaker 1: a long time. And then you and I helped create
- 3:44Speaker 1: the iHeart League back in two thousand and five six
- 3:46Speaker 1: around there, and so we've been both been in that
- 3:49Speaker 1: league this entire time. Now you and I are both
- 3:52Speaker 1: the only three time champions of the iHeart League. Now me,
- 3:57Speaker 1: I'm the only back to back winner. Just saying in
- 4:00Speaker 1: league history over the year maybe, oh no, that wasn't
- 4:02Speaker 1: a COVID year. That was the year that you and
- 4:04Speaker 1: I shared a title, which is still very controversial.
- 4:07Speaker 2: That was at credit. You get credit for half a title.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Yeah, And so we've been in that league together for
- 4:14Speaker 1: obviously a really long time as well. And then I
- 4:16Speaker 1: joined Thor's Buddies League three years ago I think, And
- 4:20Speaker 1: so I've been in that league as well.
- 4:21Speaker 2: And you're in another league too.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm in a neighborhood league, which is kind of
- 4:25Speaker 3: fun because every league is a little bit different.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Yeah, the same with me.
- 4:27Speaker 3: I have fallen in love with the half PPR or
- 4:30Speaker 3: the PPRS style, which I kind of hadn't done for
- 4:32Speaker 3: a long time getting back into that. I just think
- 4:34Speaker 3: it's the most fulfilling and rewarding players because.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You're hoping to get catches in a standard league. You're
- 4:41Speaker 1: not getting any credit for the catch. You're just getting
- 4:43Speaker 1: credit for yards, correct, And so it's kind of you know,
- 4:46Speaker 1: you're kind of like, oh, it's not as good well you.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Had if you had Keenan Allen for all those years,
- 4:50Speaker 3: going back to even the San Diego days. You're he
- 4:52Speaker 3: never was a high touchdown guy and he never was like,
- 4:55Speaker 3: you know, tons of yards, but he gets you one
- 4:56Speaker 3: hundred plus catches and you didn't really reap the rewards
- 4:59Speaker 3: of how good he was.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and it just makes guys like now like Ceed
- 5:03Speaker 1: Lambs and aman Ros Saint Brown's and those guys are
- 5:05Speaker 1: super important. Whether if you're in a standard league you're like, eh,
- 5:09Speaker 1: you know, I'd rather have a running back, yeah, or whatever.
- 5:11Speaker 1: So that's the that's the history of b dub with
- 5:14Speaker 1: this show. So it's good to have you back.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Man. It's kind of cool talking football.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Feel like they've never left. Okay, I don't know about that.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I filled in before. I think, you know, we killed.
- 5:23Speaker 3: I get a lot of emails about it.
- 5:25Speaker 2: That's definitely. Does the email still work. I think it does.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Our old Fantasy Fantasy free f f f f F
- 5:33Speaker 3: at dot com.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I think so yeah, oh god, it still might be
- 5:36Speaker 2: tied of go to you. I think it's me. That's why.
- 5:39Speaker 3: So I answer people's stuff. I'm like, yeah, start this guy,
- 5:42Speaker 3: and then I blame it on Thor.
- 5:43Speaker 2: That's that's bad.
- 5:44Speaker 1: So yes, while Thor is out, B dub is going
- 5:47Speaker 1: to be filling in, hanging out with us doing the
- 5:49Speaker 1: fantasy show. Here's how it works, B dub is that
- 5:52Speaker 1: people can reach out to us with their questions.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Every week.
- 5:54Speaker 1: You can email us. I don't know about that f
- 5:57Speaker 1: FF thing, don't don't bother you just email me direct
- 6:00Speaker 1: or you can hit us up on X. It's at
- 6:02Speaker 1: the show Eddie you want to give out your X.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Do you do you ever check your Twitter anymore?
- 6:07Speaker 2: I I go on it, but I don't ever do it.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I mean, I think it's a beat up six. I
- 6:14Speaker 2: think it is. You don't even know what you're doing.
- 6:16Speaker 3: B D U B S D six one nine. Yeah,
- 6:19Speaker 3: every once in a while I'll get hit up. Now
- 6:22Speaker 3: you actually adds me nowadays, these really hot chicks.
- 6:24Speaker 2: It's weird. All a sudden follow me out of the
- 6:27Speaker 2: It's so bizarre. It's where they show up in your stream.
- 6:29Speaker 2: That's great.
- 6:30Speaker 1: So yeah, we answer questions every week and people always
- 6:33Speaker 1: have their you know, who to start, who to sit
- 6:34Speaker 1: type of theft stuff, and so let's get to those
- 6:37Speaker 1: right now. This first question says, in a tough spot
- 6:40Speaker 1: with craft going down, I have no real tight end.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Now is the backup Luke Muskrove a worthy pickup in
- 6:49Speaker 1: Green Bay?
- 6:50Speaker 2: Don't even bother?
- 6:51Speaker 3: Well, I guess it depends how deep your league is.
- 6:54Speaker 3: I think there's still value out there and tight end.
- 6:55Speaker 3: You know, I'm a big tight end.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Love tight end.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I do.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I just think that they especially when you get into
- 6:59Speaker 2: the playoffs and they're no brainers. But you've seen some
- 7:01Speaker 2: guys emerge.
- 7:03Speaker 1: It just depends who's available, it really does, you know.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Because there's value out there on other teams that when
- 7:08Speaker 3: you maybe they're not the sexiest guy each week is
- 7:10Speaker 3: being a higher score, but collectively that some of all
- 7:13Speaker 3: their parts helps you out here.
- 7:14Speaker 1: What I like to do in that situation if I
- 7:16Speaker 1: have a top end guy go down, is I'll look
- 7:19Speaker 1: at everybody's roster and you know, there's a guy that
- 7:22Speaker 1: has two like really good tight ends. Like right now
- 7:24Speaker 1: in one of my leagues, I have both Sam Laporta
- 7:27Speaker 1: and Dallas Goddard, and so I never need to play
- 7:29Speaker 1: Goddard usually because Laporta does it really well. But then
- 7:32Speaker 1: the one bye week that Laporta had, I had Goddard
- 7:35Speaker 1: in there and he went off, so it was like perfect.
- 7:37Speaker 1: He scored two touchdowns that game. I was like, this
- 7:38Speaker 1: is awesome. So if somebody hits me up anyone and
- 7:42Speaker 1: wants Goddard, make me the right offer and I'll trade
- 7:45Speaker 1: them to you. I don't need him anymore, you know.
- 7:46Speaker 1: So that's what I would do. I would look at
- 7:48Speaker 1: people's rosters and see that guy who's holding on to
- 7:51Speaker 1: a second tight end. Then they don't need him, and
- 7:54Speaker 1: it could be a lower end guy, you know, like
- 7:56Speaker 1: like Travis Kelcey right now, true who's not doing much.
- 7:59Speaker 1: You maybe get him on the cheap or Kyle Pitts
- 8:01Speaker 1: or somebody like that.
- 8:02Speaker 2: You brought up Kelsey obviously, Oh no I didn't. I
- 8:05Speaker 2: actually did. Okay, I actually did. I thought that was
- 8:07Speaker 2: one of your subliminal jabs. I could have.
- 8:10Speaker 1: So Brian and I in are og league. I just
- 8:12Speaker 1: we just played each other, and this past week I
- 8:15Speaker 1: crushed him. No, sorry I did.
- 8:17Speaker 2: It's fourteen point. I mean it was a pretty big blowout,
- 8:19Speaker 2: like the first time I scored thirty points, and you
- 8:21Speaker 2: were pretty happy. Yeah, sorry sorry? Uh?
- 8:24Speaker 1: And so you just dropped Travis Kelcey like the three
- 8:28Speaker 1: weeks ago, the week prior, and of course I loved
- 8:32Speaker 1: it to be the snake on the waiver rire and
- 8:34Speaker 1: just look for people making dumb mistakes, you know. And
- 8:37Speaker 1: so I've picked up great guys. You know, I'm like,
- 8:39Speaker 1: where do you dropped that guy? And Kelsey was one
- 8:41Speaker 1: of those guys where I was like, you know what,
- 8:44Speaker 1: I think that the Chiefs are going to start to
- 8:45Speaker 1: figure it out at some point, and Kelsey's gonna.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Get some touches here, so why not. I decided to
- 8:51Speaker 2: pick him up. Well, and first we scored. I was like, yes,
- 8:55Speaker 2: my damn it. And of course I rubbed it in
- 8:56Speaker 2: because I can't figure it out.
- 8:57Speaker 3: I obviously have when it comes to just points on
- 9:00Speaker 3: you know, touchdown scores.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Yeah, they're massive. Justin Jefferson has been a donkey, right,
- 9:04Speaker 2: I mean he has lose your number one pick.
- 9:06Speaker 3: He just scored a second touchdown all year less rut
- 9:08Speaker 3: and I'm like, oh my god. You know, sitting at
- 9:11Speaker 3: I think seven, where I drafted, it was horrible. So yeah,
- 9:13Speaker 3: I mean I've been frustrated trying to figure it out.
- 9:15Speaker 3: And then one week I started dealing. You know, Wattle
- 9:17Speaker 3: this week didn't score. Yeah, I had McBride on the bench.
- 9:20Speaker 3: You know, it just never always you can't figure it out.
- 9:22Speaker 3: And remember that used to be my big issue. And
- 9:24Speaker 3: that's the hardest part. Sometimes when you overdraft, meaning that
- 9:27Speaker 3: you get the value in the draft and you hold
- 9:29Speaker 3: on to it if you don't move it, it sometimes
- 9:31Speaker 3: creates a little bit of a quandary if they're both
- 9:33Speaker 3: good players, or you never know who to start.
- 9:35Speaker 1: That's why I'm a big fan of trading right, Like,
- 9:37Speaker 1: you know what if I got a guy and he's
- 9:38Speaker 1: sitting on my bench and he's doing well, and I
- 9:40Speaker 1: don't you know, I think at some point the other
- 9:42Speaker 1: guy is going to go off offer him up for somebody,
- 9:45Speaker 1: you know, and like, why have him just sit on
- 9:46Speaker 1: your bench and be frustrated every week or pick the
- 9:48Speaker 1: wrong guy every week.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I'd rather get rid of him, yes, and go deeper
- 9:51Speaker 3: into maybe like a position you don't have as good
- 9:53Speaker 3: as players.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree with you.
- 9:55Speaker 3: But going back to the initial question, I think I
- 9:57Speaker 3: guess they're gonna need a tight end and saw how
- 10:00Speaker 3: much Love liked a craft. With that said, though, is
- 10:04Speaker 3: there's other value out there that might be guys that
- 10:05Speaker 3: are gonna get you more weekend week out possibly?
- 10:08Speaker 1: Yeah, this is a PPR League flex question. Do I
- 10:12Speaker 1: start Ashton Genty or DJ Moore? That's a tough one
- 10:16Speaker 1: because Genty we we really thought he was gonna be
- 10:20Speaker 1: much more fantasy value than he has become. I don't
- 10:23Speaker 1: I don't really get how they use them like they
- 10:25Speaker 1: He'll disappear for a really long stretch of time and
- 10:28Speaker 1: I'm like, what are the Raiders doing? Like Pete Carroll
- 10:31Speaker 1: loves to run the football like pound that guy NonStop.
- 10:33Speaker 3: It's almost like I don't want to have him be
- 10:35Speaker 3: done in two years as a rookie. I'm a try
- 10:37Speaker 3: to stretch him out of a his four year, five
- 10:39Speaker 3: year contract.
- 10:39Speaker 2: You ain't gonna be around. I know you're like you're
- 10:41Speaker 2: saving touches.
- 10:42Speaker 3: I don't under like ninety five, just the opposite what
- 10:44Speaker 3: they did the Josh Jacobs when when the Raiders had him. Yeah,
- 10:47Speaker 3: I think it is fundamental with the offensive coordinator and
- 10:50Speaker 3: in this year, I think Geno.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Smith a serviceable quarterback. They have a great tight end.
- 10:55Speaker 3: They you know, they just got rid of Jakobi Meyers,
- 10:56Speaker 3: so obviously they lack a wide receiver. They're just not
- 11:00Speaker 3: consistent and their offensive line is not that great. So
- 11:03Speaker 3: to me, I probably lean the other direction have Dj Moore,
- 11:06Speaker 3: but then he's made miss Caleb Williams is. He's an
- 11:10Speaker 3: intriguing quarterback because he's to me, he's soft, but he's
- 11:14Speaker 3: got a hell of an arm and he's got some
- 11:16Speaker 3: playing well.
- 11:16Speaker 1: You gotta give him credit, especially this year he's playing well.
- 11:19Speaker 1: It seems like Roman Duonsay is his main guy.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Except for last week he went yeah, he had zero point.
- 11:24Speaker 2: That was weird.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Yeah, but but DJ Moore, you know there they look
- 11:28Speaker 1: like they're trying to utilize them a little bit more,
- 11:30Speaker 1: especially even in those like jet sweeps and things like that.
- 11:33Speaker 2: So you're gonna get touches with last week, Yeah.
- 11:36Speaker 1: He did to Caleb Williams, and so yeah, you're gonna
- 11:38Speaker 1: get points for that, points for different things. I just
- 11:41Speaker 1: don't trust Genty at this point. And so because it's PPR,
- 11:45Speaker 1: I kind of lean a slight edge to Dj Moore.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I would as well, I guess so.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Uh So, the next question says, who do I start
- 11:52Speaker 1: half point PPR at wide receiver Chris o'lave, who is
- 11:56Speaker 1: taking on Carolina or Jordan Addison versus ball to more.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Well, I will tell you right now, I have a
- 12:03Speaker 3: lave on a list, and then I scratched him out
- 12:05Speaker 3: because I'm like, it's still the Saints right now in
- 12:07Speaker 3: terms of where they're at, but them getting rid of
- 12:09Speaker 3: Rashid Shaheed should warrant more probably opportunities for him.
- 12:13Speaker 2: He only had five catches him. They did not want to.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Surprising, however, Addison has a better chance of scoring.
- 12:21Speaker 2: When you watch a JJ McCarthy and you watch. He's
- 12:24Speaker 2: looking for him in the red zone.
- 12:25Speaker 3: He's looking to stretch the you know, the defense a
- 12:27Speaker 3: little bit more because Justin Jefferson kind of Warren's double
- 12:30Speaker 3: coverage a lot. They usually have him manned up with
- 12:32Speaker 3: their best player, you know, Eileen on Olave, I think
- 12:37Speaker 3: they're playing uh, Carolina, Carolina, which is coming off a
- 12:40Speaker 3: huge win. And I think Carolina is is solid and
- 12:43Speaker 3: actually done pretty well wide received. WI sure, but I
- 12:45Speaker 3: think he's since he's the primary guy, they might just
- 12:47Speaker 3: feed him the rock this week.
- 12:48Speaker 1: That's the thing is because it's a half point PPR,
- 12:51Speaker 1: Chris O. LaVey is going to have more catches than
- 12:54Speaker 1: Jordan Edison. Jordan Ison may have three catches for one
- 12:57Speaker 1: hundred and twenty yards and a touchdown. That's how that's
- 13:00Speaker 1: kind of how his numbers look. You know where Justin
- 13:03Speaker 1: Jefferson right now is the meat and potatoes guy, and
- 13:06Speaker 1: then Jordan Edison gets these big, big plays. But if
- 13:09Speaker 1: you're looking for catches, I think a LaVey is gonna
- 13:12Speaker 1: have more catches. So I would probably give the slight
- 13:15Speaker 1: edge to a lave Yeah, And that one final question
- 13:18Speaker 1: says been choosing wrong all season. This is just what
- 13:21Speaker 1: you were talking about as who to start at quarterback.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I have both Matt Stafford and Drake May. Who should
- 13:28Speaker 1: I go with?
- 13:28Speaker 2: This week?
- 13:29Speaker 1: The Rams are playing the forty nine Ers, Pats are
- 13:31Speaker 1: playing Tampa Bay.
- 13:32Speaker 3: That's easy for me. That's going to be on one
- 13:34Speaker 3: of my starts. Oh, I'm definitely taking Drake May.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Oh. I've been high on them all year, my kids.
- 13:39Speaker 3: I didn't draft them any of my teams, but I
- 13:40Speaker 3: kept saying there's something about this guy and just were
- 13:44Speaker 3: able going to New England. I just liked New England
- 13:46Speaker 3: being a bounce back team. They have some decent talent.
- 13:49Speaker 3: It's not the most like star studded, but that's kind
- 13:52Speaker 3: of going back to the old days of Bill Belichick
- 13:53Speaker 3: and how.
- 13:54Speaker 2: He had the jobs right.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Yeah, Drake May has a lot of athleticism. He says
- 13:58Speaker 3: he's done for multiple touchdowns I think, and multiple test
- 14:01Speaker 3: in the last four weeks straight.
- 14:02Speaker 1: But look what Stafford's doing though Stafford has been throwing
- 14:05Speaker 1: four or five touchdowns but this every week.
- 14:07Speaker 2: But what they could do there is he could always
- 14:09Speaker 2: hit the emergency break and then go Kyra and Williams
- 14:11Speaker 2: and just pound the rock with him.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Undred two So here's the thing that gives me the
- 14:15Speaker 1: slight pause on Stafford this week, Nomber, when you're taking
- 14:18Speaker 1: the Niners, who I get there banged up, they have
- 14:20Speaker 1: a lot of issues on their defense, but they're still
- 14:22Speaker 1: gonna show up. And they have the Rams number. They
- 14:26Speaker 1: honestly do. Kyle Shanaham seems to beat the Rams every
- 14:28Speaker 1: single time they play them, and so I got a
- 14:30Speaker 1: little bit concerned to that. And Pooka Pookah's health. I'm
- 14:34Speaker 1: not sure he's gonna play again. Another injury. That scares
- 14:38Speaker 1: me off of Stafford a little bit. And so you
- 14:41Speaker 1: know that Tampa Bay matchups really tough for the Pats.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Though.
- 14:45Speaker 1: If the Pats have any hope of winning that game,
- 14:47Speaker 1: Drake May is gonna have to have a big game.
- 14:49Speaker 1: And so I am kind of to me it's a
- 14:51Speaker 1: coin flip. I get why you're having so many issues
- 14:53Speaker 1: picking every week, because that's tough. I honestly I'd give
- 14:57Speaker 1: maybe a slight edge to Drake May, but just a
- 15:00Speaker 1: slight one.
- 15:01Speaker 3: The other part of it is, I just think that
- 15:03Speaker 3: San Francisco is gonna you know the way that their
- 15:07Speaker 3: defense is, They've lost some thumpers, right, so Mourner gone,
- 15:10Speaker 3: Bosa gun. I mean so, I just think the Rams
- 15:13Speaker 3: are gonna be able to run the ball and move
- 15:14Speaker 3: the chains a little bit more. I don't know if
- 15:16Speaker 3: it's gonna be. Yeah, Stafford having to go four hundred
- 15:18Speaker 3: plus yards and DeVante Adams has been a good guy
- 15:21Speaker 3: scoring touchdowns for him, but not a guy that's gonna
- 15:23Speaker 3: be like he used to be. Where he's gonna able
- 15:24Speaker 3: to stretch the field is offense, So you lose if
- 15:26Speaker 3: Puka can't play. It changes the dynamic, but then that's
- 15:28Speaker 3: where they go back to maybe more efficient football, and
- 15:31Speaker 3: then I would give the edge to the running game
- 15:33Speaker 3: there for the Rams rather than him stretching it. So
- 15:35Speaker 3: I'm definitely leaning towards Drake Man.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe keep your eye on whether or not Puka
- 15:38Speaker 1: plays because that could help the Rams quite a bit obviously.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Well, if he doesn't play, then I would definitely say
- 15:44Speaker 2: Drake Mann. Yeah, I tend to agree.
- 15:46Speaker 1: All right, let's get to our starts and sits for
- 15:49Speaker 1: the week. At quarterback, b dub who's your start? Well,
- 15:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, Drake Man, I think you give it away. Yeah,
- 15:54Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Nineteenth against the pass I talked about it before multiple
- 15:58Speaker 3: touchdowns in four straight weeks. I just like his moxie
- 16:03Speaker 3: coming out of Duke. You know a lot of people
- 16:04Speaker 3: wanted to just kind of knock.
- 16:05Speaker 2: The big moxie guy. Yeah, there's just something about that.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Well, he handles himself in a way that it kind
- 16:11Speaker 3: of makes you think this guy has little something.
- 16:13Speaker 2: He's not overly cocky by any means.
- 16:15Speaker 1: He's kind of in the MVP conversation. I honestly, I
- 16:17Speaker 1: think he is that good.
- 16:18Speaker 3: And you but you look around him too, and he's like,
- 16:20Speaker 3: you know, was it Boute or you know, but y
- 16:23Speaker 3: had Diggs who's now coming back again, who was a
- 16:26Speaker 3: Pro bowlide receiver at one point. They got a couple
- 16:28Speaker 3: guys running backs. Hunter Henry's solid as a rock. I
- 16:31Speaker 3: think that's a solid offense right now. But he's the
- 16:33Speaker 3: conduit and and definitely he's a guy I'm leaning to
- 16:35Speaker 3: this week against Tampa Bay, who's kind of nicked up
- 16:37Speaker 3: as well.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Okay, my start this week, Uh, you know, thora would
- 16:40Speaker 1: really have my head on this one. You know how
- 16:43Speaker 1: personal he feels about Daniel Jones. But Daniel Jones, he
- 16:46Speaker 1: came back down to earth last week against the Steelers
- 16:49Speaker 1: had a really horrible game, But I still believe in
- 16:51Speaker 1: the Colts. I still think if you look top to
- 16:53Speaker 1: bottom at that Colts lineup, they have one of the
- 16:56Speaker 1: best offensive lines in football. They have the best running
- 16:58Speaker 1: back in football right now in john Than Taylor. Their
- 17:00Speaker 1: wide receivers are pretty good with Michael Pittman. You got
- 17:03Speaker 1: all those just downs, all these different guys out Pierce,
- 17:06Speaker 1: So they're good. They're a good offense. They just had
- 17:09Speaker 1: a bad game. That had a bad game. The Steelers
- 17:11Speaker 1: had their number. I think he comes back has a
- 17:13Speaker 1: better week this week against the Falcons. The Falcons to me,
- 17:16Speaker 1: are the most confounding team in football. One week they're great,
- 17:19Speaker 1: next week they're the worst team in football. Yeah, and
- 17:21Speaker 1: so I can never figure them out. I think this
- 17:23Speaker 1: is a week where Daniel Jones gets right and has
- 17:25Speaker 1: a big game.
- 17:26Speaker 2: So I like Daniel Jae interesting because he.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Could run him over to which makes him a little special.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Because Atlanta's pass defense is one of the best in
- 17:32Speaker 3: the NFL. That's why I think Jonathan Taylor will go
- 17:35Speaker 3: off for me.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Good Falcons.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, who's your sid at quarterback?
- 17:39Speaker 2: My sid?
- 17:39Speaker 3: I will And this is a little interesting because I've
- 17:41Speaker 3: seen a couple of things where he was definitely a start,
- 17:44Speaker 3: but now seeing Alt out, Slater out, you're playing the
- 17:48Speaker 3: Steelers justin Herbert, I definitely, I mean could be a
- 17:52Speaker 3: tough one. He's a guy that if they keep finding
- 17:54Speaker 3: a way to win, should be in the MVP.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Can categully you know I'm winning because of him.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I am not a Charger life long Charger fan anymore,
- 18:01Speaker 3: Like that's not who I am. But that quarterback catches
- 18:04Speaker 3: way too much shape special and knowing that both your
- 18:07Speaker 3: tackles are out and he's just getting rocked. I think
- 18:09Speaker 3: he's been hit the most of any quarterback in the
- 18:11Speaker 3: NFL this year.
- 18:11Speaker 2: He's down two running backs.
- 18:13Speaker 3: You know, have you seen the list of players out
- 18:16Speaker 3: from the Charge. It's ridiculous. I mean, it's just it's endless.
- 18:18Speaker 3: And I do think right now they made a trade
- 18:21Speaker 3: for Penning, who at least has some experienced former first
- 18:23Speaker 3: rounder with the Saints, they're gonna put him at one
- 18:25Speaker 3: of the tackle positions are gonna move if Beckton's healthy,
- 18:27Speaker 3: They're going to move one of them out to the
- 18:29Speaker 3: other tackle position. I would be nervous though. The Steelers
- 18:32Speaker 3: are gonna lick their chops. You saw what they did
- 18:33Speaker 3: against Daniel Jones in Indianapolis. Could be a lot of
- 18:36Speaker 3: sacks for Pittsburgh. So to me, I would say, Justin Herbert,
- 18:39Speaker 3: this is not his week.
- 18:40Speaker 1: My sit this week is a guy who just came
- 18:43Speaker 1: back last week looked fantastic. But let's pump the brakes
- 18:46Speaker 1: on JJ McCarthy. I just don't know yet, Like, you
- 18:49Speaker 1: got to show me more than just one good week,
- 18:51Speaker 1: because that's what we saw. Remember he had the opening
- 18:54Speaker 1: week where he had like three quarters of bad football
- 18:56Speaker 1: and then came back at a great fourth quarter, they
- 18:58Speaker 1: won the game. Then he got hurt. Yeah, and so
- 19:00Speaker 1: then we haven't seen him again. So last week he
- 19:02Speaker 1: comes back, has a big game. Great show it to me.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Two weeks in a row and you're taking out Baltimore.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Who again, Baltimore is they're making trades, they're making moves,
- 19:11Speaker 1: They're getting guys back who were injured. They're going to
- 19:14Speaker 1: start to make their run. Baltimore's good. And I know
- 19:17Speaker 1: they haven't looked good. I know they've had their issues,
- 19:19Speaker 1: but they got Lamar back, they got guys on defense back,
- 19:22Speaker 1: They've made some trades. I think that they actually win
- 19:25Speaker 1: that game against the Vikings.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Well, lamar back made Henry relevant again, so they didn't
- 19:29Speaker 3: just load the box because you know, he could actually
- 19:31Speaker 3: have a little bit more of a scramble better throw
- 19:34Speaker 3: capability than Hunley. And the offense being better for Baltimore
- 19:38Speaker 3: makes their defense better, right, because I just think the
- 19:40Speaker 3: defense has been like out it has been, but they're
- 19:42Speaker 3: off the field so much because Baltimore controls the ball.
- 19:44Speaker 2: I'm with you.
- 19:45Speaker 3: JJ McCarthy is my youngest eason said he's looked the
- 19:48Speaker 3: worst in the league and the best in the league
- 19:50Speaker 3: in the same season so far, the same game. And yeah,
- 19:52Speaker 3: you know this is crazy. I mean after that first game,
- 19:54Speaker 3: I was like, oh, he's not ready. He could have
- 19:56Speaker 3: steened college another year. Then he came back and bounced back.
- 19:58Speaker 3: So I'm with you.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Yeah, he's my sid running back. Who's your start?
- 20:02Speaker 2: This is to me, hottest running back in the NFL.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Rico dabble.
- 20:07Speaker 3: I mean, dude, six hundred and fifty two yards three
- 20:09Speaker 3: TV's the last five games he's going against New Orleans,
- 20:12Speaker 3: they going up the fourthmost points to running backs this year.
- 20:15Speaker 2: He's kind of said, I don't need ja. He single
- 20:18Speaker 2: Handley won that game for him last week.
- 20:19Speaker 3: And then called out Dallas and then went off against
- 20:21Speaker 3: Dallas like called his shot his former teams. He's been
- 20:24Speaker 3: impressive and honestly, I want Carolina to be relevant everyone
- 20:28Speaker 3: Like you know Bryce Young, he doesn't look the strongest,
- 20:31Speaker 3: he looks kind of small out there. I want him
- 20:32Speaker 3: to be better. I want them because everyone they just
- 20:34Speaker 3: sucked for so long. I think he's kind of giving
- 20:37Speaker 3: them a little bit of swagger and I want Carolina
- 20:39Speaker 3: to be better.
- 20:40Speaker 2: That makes sense.
- 20:41Speaker 1: My start this week is a guy who is a
- 20:44Speaker 1: rookie and he's starting to figure it out, and the
- 20:47Speaker 1: Broncos are starting to figure out how to use r J.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Harvey.
- 20:51Speaker 1: So you obviously came out of the gate and it
- 20:53Speaker 1: was all the JK. Dobbins Show, and he's been fantastic
- 20:56Speaker 1: for most of the season. But as you've been seeing
- 20:59Speaker 1: the last couple of weeks, guess who's finding the end
- 21:01Speaker 1: zone yes passing game. Guess who's getting more involved in
- 21:04Speaker 1: the passing game.
- 21:05Speaker 2: It's r J. Harvey.
- 21:06Speaker 1: And you're taking on a raider team this week who
- 21:11Speaker 1: almost is giving up, who almost are like laying down
- 21:14Speaker 1: and going like we just we don't have it, and
- 21:16Speaker 1: it is what it is. And you see, you know,
- 21:19Speaker 1: they had a chance to win the game, or at
- 21:20Speaker 1: least tie the game last week, or no win it.
- 21:22Speaker 1: They were going in for the win for the two
- 21:23Speaker 1: point conversion didn't happen. That kind of stuff just deflates you.
- 21:27Speaker 1: It just kills you. If you hit it, it's incredible.
- 21:29Speaker 1: But if you don't, now you're you're in big trouble here.
- 21:32Speaker 1: And you're taking on a Broncos team who is really
- 21:34Speaker 1: hitting their stride right now, and they're starting to really
- 21:37Speaker 1: utilize R. J.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Harvey.
- 21:38Speaker 1: So he's kind of my sneaky start there for this week.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Who's your ship?
- 21:41Speaker 2: I kind of went easy. This is a no brainer,
- 21:43Speaker 2: Breese Hall. He's taken on Cleveland.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Cleveland's defense the second toughest against the running backs. They
- 21:49Speaker 3: just got rid of two of their best players on defense,
- 21:51Speaker 3: so it's gonna make it that much hard.
- 21:52Speaker 2: It's quit.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Yeah, And right now with the Jets, you know, I
- 21:55Speaker 3: have no.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Confidence and fields whatsoever.
- 21:59Speaker 3: So to me, Aaron Glanny's gonna be a one and
- 22:01Speaker 3: done in my opinion as a head coach.
- 22:03Speaker 2: I just it doesn't.
- 22:04Speaker 3: He did a phenomenal job with the defense in Detroit,
- 22:06Speaker 3: but they just don't look like they're organized. They look
- 22:09Speaker 3: like a team that was just Hey, everyone show up
- 22:11Speaker 3: and we're gonna go figure it out. And Breese Hall
- 22:14Speaker 3: is a guy that don't I don't think he'll be
- 22:15Speaker 3: back in New York next year either.
- 22:16Speaker 2: When his contracts.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I was surprised they didn't move him, right, you know,
- 22:19Speaker 1: not the trade deadline, because everybody was talking about him
- 22:21Speaker 1: getting traded. I think fantasy owners were hoping he would
- 22:24Speaker 1: get traded, but it didn't end up happening. So yeah,
- 22:26Speaker 1: it's gonna be tough for him the rest of the way.
- 22:28Speaker 1: My sit this week is gonna be Travis Etien Junior
- 22:32Speaker 1: taking on again a fantastic defense in the Houston Texans.
- 22:36Speaker 1: They have been shutting down running backs left and right.
- 22:39Speaker 1: If Jacksonville has a chance in this game, I think
- 22:41Speaker 1: it is on Trevor Lawrence. You know, they're adding weapons
- 22:44Speaker 1: with Jacoby Myers and things like that. It's gonna have
- 22:47Speaker 1: to be the passing game because I do not think
- 22:49Speaker 1: they're gonna run the football in Houston. So Travis at
- 22:51Speaker 1: and again, he's been up and down all season two
- 22:53Speaker 1: absolute so I'm not really sure what you're gonna get anyway.
- 22:55Speaker 1: He has never lived up to that rookie year. No,
- 22:57Speaker 1: he had that one good year. Yeah, that was sort
- 22:59Speaker 1: of it. So yeah, he my sid wide receiver. Who's
- 23:01Speaker 1: your start?
- 23:01Speaker 3: Well, this is where I'm channeling my inner thor, which
- 23:04Speaker 3: is actually scary and disturbing at the same time. I
- 23:08Speaker 3: had originally a love with the shaheatout thing. He's going
- 23:10Speaker 3: to get more touches. I kind of got off that
- 23:12Speaker 3: just because I'm like, it's still the Saints.
- 23:14Speaker 2: I'm going Wayne Dale Robinson. Oh wow.
- 23:16Speaker 3: And the reason why is they're playing the Bears, and
- 23:18Speaker 3: the Bears secondary sucks. I mean they've given up. I
- 23:21Speaker 3: think they're twenty fifth against the past. They've given up
- 23:22Speaker 3: twenty TVs already. He definitely perked up right now. Yeah, exactly,
- 23:25Speaker 3: twenty tds. Twenty tds. They've given up already through the air.
- 23:28Speaker 3: I mean we're going into week ten. So to me,
- 23:31Speaker 3: teams throw on them.
- 23:32Speaker 2: That Jackson Dart has been really good. He has.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I don't want to say this too loud because I
- 23:37Speaker 1: don't want it.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Well I do.
- 23:39Speaker 3: I want him to be like built up and then
- 23:40Speaker 3: let them, you know. But I like Dart he's got
- 23:45Speaker 3: something different in yeah than that kid's got. Jaylon Jones
- 23:48Speaker 3: is more of a contemporary like Baker, cerebral guy that
- 23:52Speaker 3: like people wanted him to be. Jackson Dart different. Jackson
- 23:55Speaker 3: Dart is like he's wearing like a headband around his.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Neck and he's just got the Anakin Skywalker stuff gone.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Guy probably just crushed when he was in high school
- 24:02Speaker 3: with all the hot chicks. I mean he just and
- 24:04Speaker 3: then in college you with the old miss and he
- 24:05Speaker 3: just probably just completely he was just the man. He
- 24:08Speaker 3: just got that kind of aura about him.
- 24:10Speaker 2: So he's just get sling it. He does.
- 24:12Speaker 1: So Wanda Leveson could be the beneficiary and we'll see
- 24:15Speaker 1: my start this week again. You saw them trying to
- 24:18Speaker 1: figure this out. They have been talking about getting Jamison
- 24:22Speaker 1: Williams more involved with the Lions offense and they did.
- 24:25Speaker 1: You know, he found the end zone last week. And
- 24:28Speaker 1: you know it's not just gonna be the aman Ross
- 24:30Speaker 1: and Brown show anymore. They said they're gonna get Jamison
- 24:32Speaker 1: Williams way more involved. You're taking on again a Washington
- 24:36Speaker 1: Commander team that's got to be deflated. You know, you
- 24:39Speaker 1: lose your starting quarterback again and probably for the rest
- 24:41Speaker 1: of the year. Defensively, they have not looked very good
- 24:44Speaker 1: all season long. I think the Lions are gonna be
- 24:47Speaker 1: probably pretty angry. They're gonna be coming off a tough
- 24:50Speaker 1: game and they're gonna go out there and they're gonna
- 24:52Speaker 1: put it on them. I think they think they're gonna
- 24:53Speaker 1: score a lot of points.
- 24:54Speaker 3: The Lions lose both their coordinators, right Ben Johnson bounces
- 24:58Speaker 3: to Chicago. They're they've been working through I mean, Gibbs
- 25:01Speaker 3: the one game had like four points. I mean, he
- 25:04Speaker 3: just wasn't one. They're starting to figure it out, and
- 25:06Speaker 3: I think that's why he comes out, I mean, get
- 25:07Speaker 3: Jamison more involved now, feeling more comfortable.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Golf is a beyond serviceable quarterbacks. He's very good.
- 25:14Speaker 3: He's definitely kind of that upper you know, third probably
- 25:17Speaker 3: of the NFL, and you look at his points and
- 25:19Speaker 3: you're like, damn, but he's never that guy.
- 25:21Speaker 1: But he's such a good running game they do so
- 25:24Speaker 1: it's like you got to feed a lot of mouths
- 25:25Speaker 1: with that Lion's offense. Though, So I do think Jamison
- 25:28Speaker 1: Williams is going to have a big.
- 25:29Speaker 2: U light this week.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Who's your sid I have a Khaliols Shakure and that
- 25:33Speaker 3: he's had two ten point weeks in a row, but
- 25:35Speaker 3: he's going against the Miami their fourth against the pass,
- 25:38Speaker 3: and are they really I really think that the main
- 25:40Speaker 3: reason is I think that Buffalo just come out and
- 25:43Speaker 3: run the crap out of the ball and then he
- 25:45Speaker 3: won't have to throw and not just seems cook you
- 25:47Speaker 3: benefit as well.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Josh Allen.
- 25:49Speaker 3: I mean, did you see that stat? I think he's
- 25:51Speaker 3: right now, he just passed Earl Campbell for rushing touchdowns. Crazy,
- 25:55Speaker 3: that's insane, insane.
- 25:56Speaker 2: He's like, is he even halfway? Is even at the
- 25:59Speaker 2: apex of his I don't know. I don't know to
- 26:02Speaker 2: be honest.
- 26:03Speaker 3: I mean, he might be the all time rushing rushdown leader,
- 26:07Speaker 3: and if he keeps on being quarterback for the rest
- 26:09Speaker 3: of his career, I mean.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Like he's just so big and if you only got
- 26:12Speaker 1: to go a yard, why wouldn't you run him?
- 26:14Speaker 3: We were talking last night, Has and are talking and
- 26:15Speaker 3: we're like, going.
- 26:17Speaker 2: How many How does a quarterback have that many.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Touchdown rushing And it feels like he's only been in
- 26:22Speaker 3: the league for five or six years.
- 26:23Speaker 1: No, he's been He's been phenomenal. So yeah, they may
- 26:27Speaker 1: be a running day for sure. My sid is gonna
- 26:30Speaker 1: maybe a little bit of a surprise coming off the
- 26:32Speaker 1: game he just had.
- 26:33Speaker 2: But again, you.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Gotta show me more than just one good game before
- 26:37Speaker 1: I trust you. And I'm talking about Marvin Harrison Junior. So,
- 26:41Speaker 1: Marvin Harrison Junior, very good game.
- 26:43Speaker 2: You just had.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Jacoby Brissett clearly probably a better passing quarterback. I thank
- 26:48Speaker 1: Kyler Murray is and so that's great, fantastic. I'm glad
- 26:52Speaker 1: you had a good game because I kind of like
- 26:53Speaker 1: Marvin Harrison Junior. You kind of want him to play
- 26:55Speaker 1: a little bit better. Yeah, he hasn't been. But let's
- 26:57Speaker 1: recognize matchups. You're now taking on the Seahawks. The Seahawks
- 27:01Speaker 1: are going to shut down the Cardinals. I wouldn't be
- 27:04Speaker 1: surprised that they shut out the Cardinals. And don't get
- 27:06Speaker 1: it twisted like Jacoby Brissett all of a sudden it's
- 27:08Speaker 1: a good quarterback.
- 27:09Speaker 2: He's not.
- 27:10Speaker 1: He had a pretty good game this past Monday night
- 27:13Speaker 1: against Dallas and Marvin Harrison was a big part of that.
- 27:16Speaker 1: But you're taking on a different team. This isn't leading
- 27:18Speaker 1: a boom Seattle, but they're very good defense.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but Jacoby Brissett makes McBride better.
- 27:23Speaker 3: He makes Marvin Harrison better because he plays the quarterback position,
- 27:26Speaker 3: whereas I think Cala Murray tries to do too much
- 27:29Speaker 3: and then gets outside the.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Tackles run around. It puts too much pressure on the
- 27:32Speaker 2: rest of the offense.
- 27:33Speaker 3: I mean, not to mention when you come off the sideline,
- 27:35Speaker 3: you have an e walk over in the corner that
- 27:36Speaker 3: looks like mad at the world.
- 27:37Speaker 2: His body language sucks when he's playing Call of Duty
- 27:40Speaker 2: over there, like what are you doing? His smush face?
- 27:42Speaker 3: You're like, dude, come on, you know he's thinking like
- 27:44Speaker 3: I could have gun and played baseball. I wonder if
- 27:46Speaker 3: i'd better. No, dude, you're still five eight or whatever
- 27:48Speaker 3: you are. The reality is Marvin Harrison is a extremely
- 27:52Speaker 3: good talent. You've now seen it come a couple of games.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Now with Jacoby Brissett.
- 27:56Speaker 2: We'll see you understand the rationals. I don't understand.
- 27:59Speaker 3: They are playing Seattle and if you if you would
- 28:01Speaker 3: have on defense, they were my defense for sure.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:03Speaker 1: This week, all right, let's get to tight end your
- 28:05Speaker 1: favorite position. Who is your start?
- 28:08Speaker 2: Well?
- 28:08Speaker 3: This is right now, I mean, is there a more
- 28:10Speaker 3: talked about tight end in the NFL than a Rondez.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Gadson too, that came out of nowhere.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Fifth round pick. The guy just now the starter. I
- 28:18Speaker 2: mean Thorpe picked him up and he's been talking, is it,
- 28:21Speaker 2: you know, talking him up? Yeah.
- 28:22Speaker 3: The only reason why you know, Disney's on the team
- 28:24Speaker 3: because he gets holding calls. I mean, he was supposed
- 28:26Speaker 3: to be the starter. Looking here, Pirates are pirates. Pittsburgh
- 28:30Speaker 3: Steelers thirtieth in the NFL against tight ends, Oh, thirtieth.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Gaston's become a primary receiver. It's taken the pressure off
- 28:37Speaker 3: of obviously McConkie. It's taken off the pressure of you know,
- 28:40Speaker 3: obviously Keenan Allen, Quentin Johnson has heard he's back. It
- 28:44Speaker 3: makes them a lot, a lot more dangerous. Plus, it's
- 28:46Speaker 3: that underneath stuff. And I think he's gonna have to
- 28:48Speaker 3: do that this week against Pittsburgh because he's not gonna
- 28:50Speaker 3: have the time to set up knowing you got, you know,
- 28:53Speaker 3: one of the Watt brothers coming off the edge.
- 28:55Speaker 1: I mean has been internal clocks and Heisman too. It's
- 28:57Speaker 1: like they there, they should be better. Yeah, we're stood it.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Of course, I dropped the Steelers defense.
- 29:02Speaker 2: The week.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I've been held on them all year long, going come on,
- 29:05Speaker 1: they got to be better, and then I drop them,
- 29:07Speaker 1: and of course they could have this crazy game against
- 29:08Speaker 1: the Colts or whatever. My start this week. I understood
- 29:13Speaker 1: your rationale about the Bills, but if you've been watching
- 29:16Speaker 1: the Bills games as of late, they're starting to finally
- 29:20Speaker 1: utilize their tight ends and Dalton Kincaid has been the
- 29:23Speaker 1: beneficiary of that. Josh Allen is actually finally utilizing them.
- 29:27Speaker 1: You know, they have these great tight ends and you
- 29:29Speaker 1: go kind of always wonder where are they, Like, why
- 29:32Speaker 1: don't they throw it to the tight ends more often?
- 29:34Speaker 1: You know they're their wide receiver group is kind of suspect.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Kean Coleman, he hasn't really lived up to anything. Cleoker
- 29:41Speaker 1: can have it some decent games, but honestly, they should
- 29:44Speaker 1: be utilizing their tight ends a lot more so. I
- 29:46Speaker 1: like Dalton Kincaid against Miami this week, and I think
- 29:49Speaker 1: if anything, those dump off passes whatever, I think That's That's.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Why it goes back to everything we're talking about before. Absolutely,
- 29:55Speaker 2: all right, who's your sit? This is gonna surprise you,
- 29:57Speaker 2: But I say, Tyler Warren.
- 29:59Speaker 3: And the reason why is if you look at Atlanta again,
- 30:01Speaker 3: they're only giving up two point one to three catches
- 30:03Speaker 3: and twenty two yards to tight ends on average for
- 30:06Speaker 3: the year.
- 30:06Speaker 2: They threw up a goose egg against Kittle when he
- 30:09Speaker 2: came back.
- 30:10Speaker 3: I mean, they've they've played good tight ends this year
- 30:12Speaker 3: and they've actually shut the tight ends out.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Now it's to surprise, it's twofold.
- 30:16Speaker 3: It's because they get they give up some of the
- 30:18Speaker 3: yards on the ground, they're not having to go to
- 30:19Speaker 3: the tight ends as much. There their secondary and tight
- 30:23Speaker 3: end pass defense has been good, but they're so vulnerable
- 30:26Speaker 3: to the run, and that's gonna be the reason why
- 30:27Speaker 3: I think the Colts going back to what we said.
- 30:29Speaker 3: But Danny Dimes, I think they're gonna literally go back.
- 30:32Speaker 3: They're going to just control.
- 30:33Speaker 2: The point of attack.
- 30:33Speaker 3: They have the best player in the NFL on that team,
- 30:36Speaker 3: and that is like my favorite player, Number fifty six,
- 30:39Speaker 3: Quentin Nelson for the Indianapolis Colts.
- 30:41Speaker 2: He's my favorite player, favorite player guard.
- 30:43Speaker 3: If I had a jersey today, I would buy number
- 30:46Speaker 3: fifty six for the Colts.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Watch him play. Oh, he's the best guard. He I
- 30:50Speaker 2: get that.
- 30:50Speaker 3: It reminds me of Chris Dielman. When he was in
- 30:52Speaker 3: San Diego, arguably the toughest. He's just he's a I mean,
- 30:56Speaker 3: I like Sewol I like a lot of these guys do.
- 30:58Speaker 3: That guy is though fierce nails. I only watched Lineman
- 31:02Speaker 3: a lot of times. Anyway, It's just a habit. I
- 31:03Speaker 3: watch him NonStop. He just punishes whoever he.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Gets without a doubt.
- 31:07Speaker 1: My sit this week is the guy that was getting
- 31:09Speaker 1: a little bit of play for a little bit of time.
- 31:12Speaker 1: I don't see it happening this week. I'm talking about
- 31:14Speaker 1: Mason Taylor from the Jets. Again. He was a guy.
- 31:18Speaker 1: I know, he was a guy. He was starting to
- 31:20Speaker 1: get some run. He was getting some ads because he
- 31:22Speaker 1: caught a touchdown here and there and people thought, you know,
- 31:25Speaker 1: oh maybe he's the guy. No, and especially taking on Cleveland,
- 31:28Speaker 1: nobody trusts the Jets anymore. I just don't think that
- 31:31Speaker 1: that's a why start at this point anymore.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't even if Garret Wilson was
- 31:34Speaker 3: one hundred percent and he was great, I still wouldn't
- 31:36Speaker 3: even take Garrett Wilson this week.
- 31:38Speaker 2: The only person that I think.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Will Pobbly and again I'm be shown wrong, but would
- 31:42Speaker 3: be fields because he'll run the ball fields, should be
- 31:45Speaker 3: a running back.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Well, when Garrett Wilson was in there, he was putting
- 31:48Speaker 1: up numbers and so you know, somehow whoever was their
- 31:51Speaker 1: quarterback at the time, they would find him and he
- 31:53Speaker 1: was doing okay. But he's still banged up, and so
- 31:56Speaker 1: I don't even know if he's gonna play or not.
- 31:57Speaker 1: So it's gonna be tricky either way. Don't trust any
- 32:00Speaker 1: jet That's that's my biggest piece of advice.
- 32:02Speaker 2: I think.
- 32:03Speaker 3: You know, aside from Jamar, Chase and Higgins. You look
- 32:05Speaker 3: at the Cincinnati Bengals two right now as a team
- 32:07Speaker 3: if you're they've scored the most points the last five weeks,
- 32:10Speaker 3: and it's Joe Flacco. Yeah, and so right now he's
- 32:13Speaker 3: making Chase Brown relevant because I had Chase Brown on
- 32:15Speaker 3: my team.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Well, remember t Higgins for the past first whatever how
- 32:19Speaker 1: many games was was non existent, right and now he's
- 32:21Speaker 1: a top tier guy.
- 32:22Speaker 3: So I would look at when you're looking at you know,
- 32:24Speaker 3: acquisitions and different stuff out there, that's a team right
- 32:26Speaker 3: now that's scoring points. That's probably the only reason why
- 32:28Speaker 3: Zach Taylor is even still coaching that team employed.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you lose Burrow.
- 32:32Speaker 3: They figured out Browning cannot play at the NFL levels
- 32:35Speaker 3: as a starter. He could be a backup, but he
- 32:36Speaker 3: just can't play as a backup. And then they bring
- 32:38Speaker 3: in Flacco and all of a sudden, they're now clicking
- 32:40Speaker 3: and they've scored the fifth i mean, the most points
- 32:42Speaker 3: on spot.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Not winning games, but great for fantasy.
- 32:44Speaker 3: There's the only team going back to like nineteen sixty
- 32:47Speaker 3: something that's given up the combined or they've scored a
- 32:50Speaker 3: combined eighty points in two games and lost both games.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Dang, what a stat. Eighty points in two games.
- 32:55Speaker 1: That's why beat ups here, ladies and John random stats.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go.
- 33:00Speaker 1: All right, those are your starts and sits for the week.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Hopefully you go out there and get a win.
