Camp Sekani trails are closed after the Upriver fire, but crews are moving fast to clear hazard trees — over 20 identified for removal. While trail damage is surprisingly light, fire break lines and a hand-dug trench are blocking work, and dry weather is slowing progress. Upgrades to the parking lot are still on track for August, but riders are hopeful trails will reopen before then.
