The Cubs crushed the Dodgers 5-1 at Wrigley, snapping LA’s five-game losing streak and riding a hot three-win streak. Tarik Skubal made his Dodgers debut — a solid six-inning outing — but couldn’t stop Chicago’s offense led by Nico Hoerner (two RBIs, a homer) and Dansby Swanson (solo HR). Kyle Tucker’s solo shot was the only bright spot for LA, who’ve been booed in his return to Chicago after playing for the Cubs last year.
