- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becca Tilly and Tanya rap an iHeartRadio Podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Scrub dub dub.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Wow, that was a power you had, there was it
- 0:21Speaker 3: was bad.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Rabbi toss, Gravi toss. What is that like a girth
- 0:28Speaker 1: to it?
- 0:28Speaker 4: Oh right, yeah, I don't know if that's exactly how
- 0:32Speaker 4: that word is used. Gravi does like serious things, like
- 0:35Speaker 4: we had a very serious talk about something to be Gravis.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Oh, I thought it was like a tone in my
- 0:40Speaker 1: It was a serious deliverance.
- 0:42Speaker 4: There was toss, thank you well, dignity, seriousness or solemnity
- 0:46Speaker 4: of manner. Yeah, that's how you're saying.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I have some really exciting news, but we're going I'm
- 0:52Speaker 1: gonna save it for later. It's like less it's less
- 0:57Speaker 1: catch up eat. No, no, it's less catch up me
- 1:02Speaker 1: and more like middle of the podcast. It's podcast material. Okay, yeah, well,
- 1:08Speaker 1: do not let me forget because it's very important.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Okay, Happy New Year.
- 1:17Speaker 2: We had an episode that came out right before the
- 1:19Speaker 2: New Year, but this is our first official back in
- 1:22Speaker 2: the room together of the new.
- 1:24Speaker 3: The Year of the rad Yad Wedding.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Yes, it's a nine year. Huh. Oh my gosh, does
- 1:33Speaker 1: nobody look at Instagram anymore?
- 1:35Speaker 4: I know what you're saying. You add up the numbers.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Of twenty five is nine? Okay, well nine is a
- 1:42Speaker 1: lucky number. The numerology nine is a very lucky number.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And and might I add I welcomed in the new year,
- 1:57Speaker 1: tell me at the nines. That's the name of the place.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I was.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Wow, Oh wow.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Thank you? Not planned coincidentally.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's I love that. One thing about you, though,
- 2:09Speaker 2: is that you can find an invisible tie string. So
- 2:14Speaker 2: if the number had been one, nine.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Ten, nine would have been in there.
- 2:22Speaker 3: You would have found a reason.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Yeah for a week if it was three, and like,
- 2:25Speaker 4: ah you got three, right, Like for threes? I mean,
- 2:28Speaker 4: I have a baby, will be three. I sent Tanya
- 2:32Speaker 4: for a loop yesterday when I texted her that her
- 2:34Speaker 4: wedding day is not only a full moon, but mercury
- 2:38Speaker 4: is in retrograde.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I'm not choose to ignore that. Yeah, yeah, that's just
- 2:43Speaker 1: gonna be.
- 2:43Speaker 3: And we don't we don't need that kind of energy.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Mark take that energy back to twenty twenty.
- 2:49Speaker 4: I'm saying, embrace it and make it a positive. Why
- 2:52Speaker 4: does that have to be a negative?
- 2:53Speaker 2: It doesn't always it is though, like anytime, Well, it's
- 2:56Speaker 2: just that anytime something bad goes on and everyone goes
- 3:02Speaker 2: which maybe it's not fair for mercury in retrograde.
- 3:04Speaker 4: I think it's rare to have a full moon in
- 3:06Speaker 4: a retrograde. At the same time, I think it's a
- 3:07Speaker 4: unique astrological event that we should embrace and be excited about.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Well, it's the year of the nine, Okay, that is
- 3:15Speaker 1: what we should focus on.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Al right, Well, do you do you feel like we
- 3:18Speaker 3: should change your lucky number to nine? It hasn't been around.
- 3:23Speaker 2: I can't just made within the six month change period
- 3:27Speaker 2: the return policy.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I don't think I can change it.
- 3:30Speaker 4: It's an unlucky number in Japan. Nine. Yes. But but
- 3:35Speaker 4: my point is not to harsh your mellow, my partner.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Is My point is to say to you that always harsh.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Is such a malcohol marshmallow.
- 3:43Speaker 1: No, I think it's a term mean to yuck.
- 3:47Speaker 4: You're young, you know that sort of thing. Yeah, But
- 3:49Speaker 4: the point I'm making is you can turn these into
- 3:51Speaker 4: anything you want to turn them into.
- 3:53Speaker 3: And you're good at that you do, so it'spin it.
- 3:55Speaker 4: All positive spin The full moon positive, the mercury positive,
- 3:58Speaker 4: spin it all positive.
- 4:00Speaker 1: That's right. I'm gonna take that full moon and stick
- 4:02Speaker 1: it up the mercury retrogade right up there, right up there.
- 4:07Speaker 3: How are you feeling?
- 4:08Speaker 2: I was thinking this morning, that's just like not to
- 4:11Speaker 2: trust you out, But it's literally right around the corner.
- 4:15Speaker 4: It's less thanks.
- 4:16Speaker 1: So I'm very stressed, are you beyond about what? What
- 4:21Speaker 1: I've realized throughout this whole wedding planning process is that
- 4:25Speaker 1: I love hosting, like I love having people over. I
- 4:27Speaker 1: like hosting. I don't like planning. M truly. It's been
- 4:34Speaker 1: very hard for me because I just also don't care.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean? But you do care?
- 4:41Speaker 3: Get it?
- 4:41Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 4:42Speaker 2: So it's like if you want it to be beautiful
- 4:44Speaker 2: and you wanted to represent you, but you you don't
- 4:46Speaker 2: necessarily like the process of like.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Which flower do you want here?
- 4:51Speaker 2: Like I don't know that anyone does though, Like every
- 4:53Speaker 2: time I hear people talk about wedding planning, that's the
- 4:56Speaker 2: part that they're like.
- 4:57Speaker 1: It's the vibe that I want, And really the vibe
- 4:59Speaker 1: is Robbie and I control that, you know what I mean?
- 5:02Speaker 1: So it's like we control the vibe, and that's what
- 5:05Speaker 1: I want for my wedding. And I've already kind of
- 5:09Speaker 1: come to this like realization of the day of or whatever.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Something's gonna not look like the way that I envisioned
- 5:16Speaker 1: it or something, you know what I mean, right, And
- 5:18Speaker 1: I'm just gonna let it roll. You have to just
- 5:20Speaker 1: gonna let it roll. Roll.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Yeah, roll roll.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Off the back, right off the property, into the ocean,
- 5:28Speaker 2: United into the ocean.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Yeah, goodbye. Seeing ever, Well.
- 5:33Speaker 3: That's a good attitude to have.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 5:35Speaker 3: I like that.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Thanks. How are you feeling? How is your New Year's wee?
- 5:40Speaker 3: Yeah, Haley always says New Year's too.
- 5:42Speaker 1: It drives me nuts. You just said it, I know,
- 5:45Speaker 1: but I'm trying to correct myself.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Well, it's New Year's Day, so I think that's the confusion.
- 5:49Speaker 2: It's New Year's Day, it's not.
- 5:51Speaker 5: New Year Day.
- 5:52Speaker 3: And it's New Year's Eve, right, It's New Year's Eve.
- 5:55Speaker 1: So how did you celebrate the New Year?
- 5:57Speaker 3: The New Year?
- 5:58Speaker 2: We had the most holiday a couple of weeks, like
- 6:03Speaker 2: we always normally, well, I normally travel and go to
- 6:06Speaker 2: see family, but I didn't go this year because it
- 6:09Speaker 2: was I wanted to be with Haley and.
- 6:11Speaker 1: So, which honestly we should talk about a little bit
- 6:14Speaker 1: more about because there's like a point in your life
- 6:16Speaker 1: where you start to build your own life and your
- 6:18Speaker 1: own family that you stop going back to your family's
- 6:22Speaker 1: you know, like going back doing the stuff that you
- 6:25Speaker 1: did since you were a kid, and like that's a
- 6:27Speaker 1: very crazy time in your life. Yes, it's like a
- 6:31Speaker 1: it's a change. It's like a new well.
- 6:34Speaker 2: It's kind of alternating of like where where are you
- 6:36Speaker 2: gonna go if you don't live in the same space.
- 6:38Speaker 2: It's like, oh, do you like eventually we'll go see, well,
- 6:42Speaker 2: we'll go to my family together, right, and then we'll
- 6:44Speaker 2: have to celebrate separately with her family on another day
- 6:47Speaker 2: that's not Christmas, that type of thing. But yeah, we
- 6:49Speaker 2: stayed this year and and then we normally go on
- 6:52Speaker 2: a trip for New Year for the New Year New
- 6:56Speaker 2: Year's Eve.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Right, and we didn't. We were like, let's just stay home.
- 7:00Speaker 2: She when she moved in in the summer, it was
- 7:03Speaker 2: chaos because she ended up leaving to go work in
- 7:05Speaker 2: Canada for a little bit.
- 7:06Speaker 3: So she like moved in.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I was in Amsterdam for Ali's wedding, So like when
- 7:11Speaker 2: she moved in.
- 7:11Speaker 3: It was kind of like stuff just went where it
- 7:13Speaker 3: could fit.
- 7:14Speaker 2: There wasn't a lot of like thought or organization, and
- 7:17Speaker 2: so we spent some time like going through her boxes
- 7:20Speaker 2: and getting her stuff like moved into the house. So
- 7:23Speaker 2: it feels like her place too, because she just kind
- 7:26Speaker 2: of moved in and like what she brought she brought,
- 7:28Speaker 2: and then it was just kind of all my stuff
- 7:29Speaker 2: and she's like, it doesn't really feel like my space
- 7:32Speaker 2: because it's all your stuff, and I'm.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Like, that's fair.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I get Haley m So.
- 7:36Speaker 3: She we did that and it was just so nice.
- 7:39Speaker 2: It was so like we would stay up so late
- 7:42Speaker 2: and then sleep late.
- 7:43Speaker 3: It was just so nice. I had the best time.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Tell me about it today.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Physically hurt because I have like scheduled appointments and calls,
- 7:53Speaker 2: and then the podcast it was just I don't.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Know why I did that, but I was like, oh
- 7:56Speaker 3: Phoebe's face.
- 7:56Speaker 1: But there also like there gets the point where like
- 8:00Speaker 1: between December, the end of December and January first, you
- 8:03Speaker 1: can like you can push stuff off until today January
- 8:06Speaker 1: sixth is like when you really got to get yourself
- 8:08Speaker 1: back together, do you know what I mean? Like you
- 8:09Speaker 1: can't be pushing those meetings off anymore. It's like, Okay,
- 8:12Speaker 1: we'll revisit it on January sixth.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Anything that had a work related tone to it I
- 8:17Speaker 2: did not respond to. I was like, I'll do it
- 8:19Speaker 2: on Monday, and today is the day.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Today is the day. Yeah, does anyone else me?
- 8:25Speaker 2: Because I feel like people are either like in that
- 8:27Speaker 2: boat or they're like, oh my gosh, the new year
- 8:29Speaker 2: really begins now. It's the ultimate refresh Monday the sixth,
- 8:33Speaker 2: Like we're back at it baby, with that kind of energy.
- 8:36Speaker 3: But I don't have that.
- 8:37Speaker 4: I've had that in years past. I'm lacking it this year,
- 8:40Speaker 4: and I'm not sure what that is because I'm not Yeah, you.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Were like so ba humbug this morning. I was like,
- 8:45Speaker 1: now year first, Like yeah.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Remark, yeah, I couldn't sleep last night.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Oh I couldn't say there major.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I get that too. I saw one thirty on
- 8:57Speaker 1: my phone in the morning. I saw two thirty on
- 8:59Speaker 1: my phone. I saw three or five, and then eventually
- 9:01Speaker 1: I think I fell asleep. Yikes. Yeah, it's bad.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I wonder what it is.
- 9:06Speaker 4: Did I think I'm it's over?
- 9:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I get scared that I'm gonna for some reason.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Nighttime I'm gone for an extended which is really only
- 9:14Speaker 1: around the holidays, I get scared that I'm not gonna
- 9:18Speaker 1: that I'm asleep through my alarm, yeah, which I never have.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Knock on wood.
- 9:24Speaker 6: See, Normally, after we have these long breaks, I'm like
- 9:26Speaker 6: excited to go back to work, like I like working
- 9:28Speaker 6: and uh, but this time I was like I could
- 9:30Speaker 6: keep doing this for doing nothing for a while longer.
- 9:32Speaker 7: I was really sad it was over.
- 9:34Speaker 2: This is so funny that really kind of this year
- 9:36Speaker 2: was because Hailey is like Hailey loves work, she lives
- 9:40Speaker 2: and breathes work, and she was like, I just don't
- 9:42Speaker 2: want to go work.
- 9:43Speaker 3: She's like, I did it.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I didn't do it for so long that now my
- 9:46Speaker 2: brain's like reset or something.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Yeah, like there was one day over the break. It's crazy.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I okay, this isn't gonna make sense to anybody listening.
- 9:57Speaker 1: And because you don't know where I live, but in California,
- 10:00Speaker 1: in La, we don't. We're not like a walking city.
- 10:03Speaker 1: We're not like New York where you like walk anywhere.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I had so much time. I took my dog to
- 10:09Speaker 1: go to my local coffee shop, which is literally I
- 10:12Speaker 1: want to say, three miles away from my house and back,
- 10:16Speaker 1: oh downhills too. I don't even know how long. It
- 10:20Speaker 1: took me two and a half hours through at the time, yeah,
- 10:23Speaker 1: I was walking her. My parents were staying at a hotel.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I walked my dog down to the hotel where I
- 10:29Speaker 1: would normally drive right like I would normally.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Drive, walked.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I was like a walking machine. And it was so
- 10:35Speaker 1: crazy because I had the time.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Well that's what you know.
- 10:38Speaker 2: They do all these studies about how you should be
- 10:40Speaker 2: walking a certain amount or having a certain amount of steps,
- 10:43Speaker 2: and if you don't have a job where you're on
- 10:44Speaker 2: your feet and walking around all day, it's really time.
- 10:47Speaker 1: To get ten thousand. Yeah, it takes me two hours.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Like I always see people like this is how many
- 10:53Speaker 2: steps you should get, and people in the comments are
- 10:55Speaker 2: like what if you work right and like have.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Kids right, it's like dark, but the time I finished
- 11:00Speaker 1: work with the sun's going down usually or like in
- 11:03Speaker 1: an hour. I can't have two hours in the dark. No,
- 11:07Speaker 1: So anyways, it was RESTful. It was crazy, but you
- 11:12Speaker 1: know what I made like I had like a very
- 11:13Speaker 1: weird realization of like myself, if I have work and
- 11:19Speaker 1: I have like five things to do in a day, right,
- 11:22Speaker 1: I can get one hundred things done that day. If
- 11:25Speaker 1: I have nothing scheduled for my day and I'm trying
- 11:27Speaker 1: to do three things, I can't do them. Tell me
- 11:31Speaker 1: the psychology in that.
- 11:32Speaker 3: That's literally me almost every single day in my life.
- 11:35Speaker 3: It's like it was break. I'm up and going.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Like it was break. So none of this was pressing, right,
- 11:40Speaker 1: But I have wedding stuff that I needed to do.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I needed to like get a new phone, I need,
- 11:43Speaker 1: you know, like I needed There was stuff I needed
- 11:45Speaker 1: to do, and I would say, Okay, I'm going to
- 11:48Speaker 1: do this tomorrow, and then the tomorrow would come and
- 11:50Speaker 1: I wake up around eight, Wow, break my coffee in bed,
- 11:58Speaker 1: walk my dog for two hours, and then have day
- 12:00Speaker 1: is gone. And then I'm like, I have one time.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I have time to do one errand.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the that's what that's what the break is for.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Though it was crazy, I was like, Wow, I guess
- 12:09Speaker 1: I really do need the structure to like I can't.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I can't function if I don't have the structure.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Right, that's me. I actually need structure. By all habit.
- 12:19Speaker 2: When y'all go to Wisconsin, do you do a lot
- 12:22Speaker 2: of laying like are y'all going and doing?
- 12:25Speaker 3: Or is it a lot of very.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Busy because there's so much there's so many people we
- 12:27Speaker 4: need to see while we're there, And we had a
- 12:29Speaker 4: shorter trip there. We're there over a week, but we're
- 12:31Speaker 4: used to go like two weeks, two and a half weeks,
- 12:34Speaker 4: so this is we had so many people in such
- 12:36Speaker 4: a small amount of time that was very, very busy.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Every day we had activities going on.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Wow.
- 12:40Speaker 3: So it's not just laying around watching the snow off the.
- 12:42Speaker 4: One, No, but I wish I wish it was more
- 12:43Speaker 4: of that picture.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Marked by like a win like well not coffee.
- 12:49Speaker 5: Do you drink tea?
- 12:50Speaker 1: No?
- 12:50Speaker 4: I drink nothing.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Hot water with women no, no.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Okay, ice water and looking at temperatures half water, room
- 13:00Speaker 2: top water, watching the snowball down with the book in hand.
- 13:04Speaker 3: That's what I did more.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Reading on this trip. And then and they Amy and
- 13:07Speaker 4: I were burning through some survivors. So that's been going
- 13:09Speaker 4: well wow, Yeah, So there was some of that just
- 13:13Speaker 4: because there's so much nothing else, like we're not walking dogs,
- 13:17Speaker 4: we're not growing to the grocery store, like we're not
- 13:19Speaker 4: doing the normal life stuff. Kind chill. So yeah, it
- 13:22Speaker 4: was busy, but there was time for that. It was
- 13:24Speaker 4: very nice. And we made a snowman. It was adorable.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Yeah, there's no snow mill.
- 13:29Speaker 2: There was no building snowman here in la.
- 13:31Speaker 3: It was hot as hell. I would have loved just
- 13:36Speaker 3: even a spink.
- 13:39Speaker 1: It was raining on January second. I only know this
- 13:44Speaker 1: because when we got home my suitcase was like wet.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Well, yeah, there was some mist in the air. She means,
- 13:52Speaker 2: how was New York City?
- 13:54Speaker 7: New York was incredible.
- 13:55Speaker 6: It was so fun. We did all the Christmas stuff.
- 13:57Speaker 6: We saw the tree, we did it all. It was
- 14:00Speaker 6: so it was it was magical. We saw the Nutcracker.
- 14:02Speaker 6: We saw the Rockets, an insane show. By the way,
- 14:05Speaker 6: if you've never seen the Rockets Christmas show, like there's
- 14:07Speaker 6: like projections, there's a giant bus on this st I
- 14:10Speaker 6: couldn't believe.
- 14:10Speaker 7: It was so awesome.
- 14:11Speaker 6: There's before the show started they came out and said
- 14:14Speaker 6: this show contains pyrotechnics and drone fairies and if a
- 14:18Speaker 6: fairy falls into your seat and an intendant will come
- 14:20Speaker 6: retrieve it. And I was like, yeah, it was awesome. Yeah,
- 14:25Speaker 6: we had a great time. We're there for like a week.
- 14:27Speaker 6: We saw Sam Sam.
- 14:31Speaker 7: That was actually came over.
- 14:34Speaker 6: Yeah, that was a lot of fun we saw too.
- 14:36Speaker 6: We saw Nasratu and baby Girl while we were in
- 14:40Speaker 6: and then and then came back and had a week
- 14:41Speaker 6: of just like land around doing nothing. It was like
- 14:43Speaker 6: the perfect balance.
- 14:44Speaker 2: I think.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Was it like, oh, we'll do this as a tradition
- 14:47Speaker 3: every year.
- 14:49Speaker 6: I think we decided like if we never do it again,
- 14:53Speaker 6: we'll be happy. We'll be fine. You know, like doing
- 14:55Speaker 6: it once is fine. We would like to do it
- 14:56Speaker 6: again at some point. But it's super crowded in New
- 14:59Speaker 6: York this time. You know, it was like really hard
- 15:02Speaker 6: to get around.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw your videos.
- 15:04Speaker 2: I was like, I'm so stressed that the amount of
- 15:07Speaker 2: people they were walking through and just like walking by.
- 15:10Speaker 6: Yeah, it was uh yeah, it was crazy, especially around
- 15:13Speaker 6: like you know, rock Feller Center and everything.
- 15:15Speaker 7: It was just like so many people.
- 15:17Speaker 6: Yeah, but uh, we saw We went to Carrie Bradshaw's apartment.
- 15:21Speaker 7: We did a lot of fun stuff.
- 15:23Speaker 1: You guys saw something interesting.
- 15:24Speaker 7: Tell me always so riddle me this.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Okay, we went to New York as well. Any of
- 15:31Speaker 1: us that did not live in New York. When we
- 15:33Speaker 1: looked up the weather in New York for the days
- 15:35Speaker 1: that we were going to be there, it was rainy
- 15:37Speaker 1: and frigid. Okay, anybody that lived in New York when
- 15:42Speaker 1: they looked at their weather, the weather was no rain
- 15:47Speaker 1: and moderate. Okay, we show up, the weather is no
- 15:53Speaker 1: rain and moderate. So the people who live in New
- 15:57Speaker 1: York City their weather app was accurate, and all of
- 16:00Speaker 1: us it was wrong. Do not find that weird? That
- 16:05Speaker 1: is weird? So then I have this theory that they're
- 16:08Speaker 1: trying to keep people out of New York City.
- 16:11Speaker 6: The only hypothesis I can give you is the people
- 16:14Speaker 6: that live in New York.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Because it's more accurate because they live there.
- 16:16Speaker 6: Because iPhone uses your like current location, so it's pulling
- 16:19Speaker 6: from a weather center that might be named something like
- 16:22Speaker 6: when you search New York City, it might be looking
- 16:24Speaker 6: at the Bronx or you know, something else, and then
- 16:27Speaker 6: if you from your actual actually are and that's just
- 16:31Speaker 6: my thing.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Is so bizarre. I was like, how do we have
- 16:35Speaker 1: two completely different forecasts for the same weird Yeah? I agree,
- 16:40Speaker 1: because but then the locals were the one that was right.
- 16:43Speaker 2: So I was like, I'm relieved to know that the
- 16:45Speaker 2: local person is getting the correct weather yeah.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel safe in that too.
- 16:50Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Did.
- 17:10Speaker 3: We watched so much TV and so and movies. We
- 17:15Speaker 3: also saw Baby Girl. All right, just a holiday classic,
- 17:19Speaker 3: so might say.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Is it good?
- 17:21Speaker 7: Yes, it's very good.
- 17:24Speaker 2: We left feeling like there really wasn't a plot. I
- 17:27Speaker 2: thought it was gonna be more of a thriller, like
- 17:29Speaker 2: he becomes like stalker blackmail type, and I thought that
- 17:33Speaker 2: they could have edged it a little more towards that.
- 17:36Speaker 7: Wow, I see I.
- 17:38Speaker 3: This is Nicole Kidman orgasmal Yes.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I did.
- 17:41Speaker 7: Wow, I did.
- 17:42Speaker 6: But also I liked that, and this isn't a spoiler.
- 17:45Speaker 6: But like the guy she's having the she's having an
- 17:47Speaker 6: affair with a younger man who works in her office,
- 17:49Speaker 6: and he doesn't really know what he's doing, you know,
- 17:51Speaker 6: like like I think he in his mind he's like,
- 17:53Speaker 6: I'm gonna be this like seductor, but then he doesn't
- 17:55Speaker 6: really know how to do it. And I liked that
- 17:57Speaker 6: because in normally movies it's like this guy who has
- 17:59Speaker 6: this like grand plan and it's all figured out, but
- 18:01Speaker 6: he was just a stupid child.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Just like going yeah, flying by the seat of his fants.
- 18:05Speaker 2: But I really liked him. Yeah, Like I'm like I
- 18:09Speaker 2: hope he's in more stuff because I thought he was great.
- 18:12Speaker 3: But yeah we left. Hayley was like, that was too
- 18:15Speaker 3: hetero for me. But if you like, I mean, I
- 18:20Speaker 3: feel like she was great.
- 18:21Speaker 2: I felt like he was great. But yeah, I just
- 18:23Speaker 2: I enjoyed myself. I wasn't like when is this over?
- 18:27Speaker 2: But I also am not like, oh, I'm gonna can't
- 18:29Speaker 2: wait to watch this again.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I was close to seeing it the other day, but
- 18:33Speaker 1: I saw a completely unknown No.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, the Bob Dylan movie. People.
- 18:40Speaker 1: That's right?
- 18:40Speaker 3: She really, she really throws me off choice.
- 18:44Speaker 4: I gotta believe Robbie's a heavy influence on this one.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Funny enough, No, really, no, it was actually my friend
- 18:49Speaker 1: Sofia that wanted to see it, and uh so we
- 18:53Speaker 1: had two choices. One was seven forty five a complete unknown,
- 18:57Speaker 1: or like eight forty five baby girl, and I want
- 18:59Speaker 1: the earlier. That was really the deciding factor for me.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Earlier.
- 19:05Speaker 4: What kind of makes sense your friend Sofia If it's
- 19:07Speaker 4: a Sofia that I know, and I understand why she would
- 19:09Speaker 4: want to see that movie?
- 19:10Speaker 1: Yeah, music, Yeah, vibes for sure.
- 19:12Speaker 2: So are we talking about the Sophia Carson The Sofia,
- 19:16Speaker 2: did you see carry On?
- 19:17Speaker 3: Yeah, we watched it.
- 19:19Speaker 4: I watched it, enjoyed it.
- 19:20Speaker 7: We watched Christmas Eve. It's so good.
- 19:22Speaker 2: It's so good, and it was like it's number it
- 19:25Speaker 2: was number one for a minute in the world.
- 19:28Speaker 1: It's been. It's like topp. It's like I don't want
- 19:30Speaker 1: to misspeak because I know the stuffs.
- 19:33Speaker 3: I don't know the staffs.
- 19:34Speaker 1: But it's like doing crazy.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Well, she's really Netflix Darling.
- 19:38Speaker 1: She has a Netflix sty.
- 19:39Speaker 3: From Disney Darling to Netflix Darling. Yeah, yeah, it was.
- 19:43Speaker 3: It was fun. It was a fun watch.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I thought so too. And I'm not big on thrillers
- 19:47Speaker 1: like that, and you are more than you realize. I
- 19:50Speaker 1: think so too because I genuinely, like really really loved it.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it was fun.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Yeah, we watched what did Uh?
- 19:57Speaker 3: How was the Vampire?
- 19:58Speaker 6: What's that fraut too? I've seen it twice already. Wow,
- 20:01Speaker 6: it's so good. Yes, I found it very scary. I
- 20:05Speaker 6: jumped both times both. Yes, I knew it was coming.
- 20:10Speaker 6: He's got this creepy voice and he has a he
- 20:12Speaker 6: sounds like it's uh, it's a Nicholas Holt in it,
- 20:17Speaker 6: and uh Williem Dafoe and Lily Rose Deppe.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Wait, William Dafoe is a scary man right always?
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yeah, he has like a really scary face, like he
- 20:29Speaker 2: just has a villain face.
- 20:30Speaker 4: He has a villain for sure.
- 20:31Speaker 7: He's a good guy in this movie.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah he's a hero.
- 20:34Speaker 7: He's fighting the vampire.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm curious about that one.
- 20:38Speaker 1: I also watched Squid Games.
- 20:40Speaker 4: Yeah, singular squid Game.
- 20:42Speaker 1: It's squid Game.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Yeah, shook season two.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Season two finished it.
- 20:48Speaker 3: I didn't like it.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Oh you watched the whole season?
- 20:50Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:51Speaker 1: Why didn't like it? I just felt like, did you
- 20:54Speaker 1: like season?
- 20:54Speaker 4: Hold on, no spoilers. I'm through episodes, halfway through episode six,
- 20:58Speaker 4: so let me just give me a lot.
- 21:00Speaker 3: So yeah, it was like locked in. No, no, no, no,
- 21:05Speaker 3: here's the thing.
- 21:07Speaker 2: I just go based off if I can't, if I'm
- 21:10Speaker 2: not interested enough to stare at the TV and pay attention,
- 21:13Speaker 2: then I'm I don't.
- 21:14Speaker 3: I'm like, what ever?
- 21:15Speaker 1: You like it?
- 21:16Speaker 3: The first one I was same locked In.
- 21:20Speaker 2: I felt like it was more about the games. This
- 21:22Speaker 2: one felt like it was about the like leadership of
- 21:26Speaker 2: the game.
- 21:26Speaker 4: One thing I do enjoy about squad Game also is
- 21:29Speaker 4: is how you know you're getting into the serious part
- 21:31Speaker 4: of the show when people you know start to die.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Because you there's four and fifty people in the spread game,
- 21:37Speaker 4: you can't learn all the characters, and so you learn
- 21:39Speaker 4: a whole bunch of characters, and of course they're safe
- 21:41Speaker 4: for the first two three rounds. Yeah, when the NPC
- 21:44Speaker 4: start to die, then you're like, oh no, now, now
- 21:46Speaker 4: really getting into it.
- 21:47Speaker 7: After the part joint.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Season two, I would say I enjoyed season one more. Yeah,
- 21:52Speaker 1: but I liked it.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean we finished Bad Sister season two.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Yes. By the way, I've seen some hate on season two.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Bets just I really enjoyed season two.
- 22:01Speaker 3: We really enjoyed it. But it's hard to even touch.
- 22:03Speaker 4: It's not as good as season one.
- 22:05Speaker 2: But considering season one could have been a standalone series,
- 22:09Speaker 2: I feel like they did a great job making it.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Really into it, especially towards the end. I got really
- 22:14Speaker 4: into it.
- 22:14Speaker 6: I just finished season one and I'm about to start great.
- 22:17Speaker 7: Loved it. It's so good.
- 22:19Speaker 2: There's something so realistic about the sister dynamic that makes
- 22:24Speaker 2: it funny because they're doing something so serious, but there's
- 22:27Speaker 2: these sister moments that are so relatable and funny, and
- 22:30Speaker 2: they do such a great job with it. I'm going
- 22:33Speaker 2: to miss them because I think that was I think
- 22:34Speaker 2: season two is it. I don't think they're done more.
- 22:37Speaker 4: I think you're right about that. But yes, it's great,
- 22:39Speaker 4: and I love Becca is so funny, so funny. She's
- 22:42Speaker 4: the funniest sister in my opinion. Is it really Wow?
- 22:46Speaker 4: I didn't realize that she's great. Also, I love the
- 22:50Speaker 4: Irish lilt, the Irish slang referring to one of the
- 22:56Speaker 4: women in the second season not a spoiler, they referred
- 22:59Speaker 4: to as a wagon, which is so funny to me, Like,
- 23:02Speaker 4: I didn't even really know what it meant, and I
- 23:03Speaker 4: kind of looked it up, but it just kind of
- 23:04Speaker 4: means like a woman you don't like it's got like
- 23:06Speaker 4: a b work color a wagon. And me, that's so.
- 23:09Speaker 1: I don't really enjoy season one.
- 23:11Speaker 4: Yeah, well good?
- 23:13Speaker 3: Yeah, has anyone seemed disclaimer on Apple TV? Yes, with
- 23:17Speaker 3: Kate Blanchet.
- 23:18Speaker 6: Yeah, Allison's watching it per your suggestions.
- 23:22Speaker 1: So good. We abandoned the mission, Wow, a lot of
- 23:26Speaker 1: people did. It got to a point where I was like, no,
- 23:30Speaker 1: the same for me.
- 23:31Speaker 2: You have to continue it. Really Yeah, there's a twist
- 23:33Speaker 2: at the end.
- 23:34Speaker 3: It's so good.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Good to finish it. Yeah, okay, I don't watching a
- 23:37Speaker 1: lot of stuff that we don't like. Yeah, like Beyond Documentary.
- 23:43Speaker 1: I was so excited to watch it because I love her.
- 23:45Speaker 1: It was so sad. Did you watch the whole thing?
- 23:47Speaker 2: It was so boring, but like hard to it was
- 23:50Speaker 2: like really devastating.
- 23:53Speaker 1: No, Like the middle, She's like walking through the archives
- 23:55Speaker 1: of her outfits. I'm like, I don't care about this,
- 23:58Speaker 1: Like you're spending twenty minutes telling me, got this outfit?
- 24:01Speaker 1: You want to this show?
- 24:02Speaker 3: She wasn't feeling well tony. Maybe that's all she had
- 24:05Speaker 3: the energy for.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I would rather sit and just talk to the camera
- 24:08Speaker 1: about like her life experiences, then walk around some some
- 24:11Speaker 1: showroom and like these archival outfits. I was like, what
- 24:15Speaker 1: a waste of time?
- 24:17Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, we we went through a lot. Haley watched
- 24:21Speaker 3: Black Doves. I loved it.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I've scrolled I tried to watch it.
- 24:28Speaker 3: We watched a lot of TV. I mean, Haley watched
- 24:31Speaker 3: a lot and I scrolled on the coup.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I really want to watch Black Doves and I started
- 24:35Speaker 1: it and it was the night. I was home alone
- 24:37Speaker 1: that night and the show was like dark, and then
- 24:42Speaker 1: I heard like a thump, and I just like panic, No,
- 24:45Speaker 1: but it wasn't that. That wasn't the same night. So
- 24:47Speaker 1: I just like can't yeah, and I thought someone. I
- 24:50Speaker 1: like texted Robbie. I was like, someone's outside our bedroom door,
- 24:53Speaker 1: and he was like, Okay, I'm sure it's nothing. Could
- 24:58Speaker 1: you just go check? So I like went and check.
- 25:00Speaker 1: There wasn't anybody outside their bedroom door. By I locked
- 25:02Speaker 1: the door. I'm like, yeah, you not getting them out.
- 25:07Speaker 1: You can't jimmy this lock intruder.
- 25:12Speaker 2: I'm such a freak about like, uh, security stuff. And
- 25:18Speaker 2: we the other day when we were cleaning stuff out,
- 25:20Speaker 2: we found a random pocket knife and I was like,
- 25:23Speaker 2: who's this this? And I was like this would be
- 25:25Speaker 2: good to have, you know, because we were always talking
- 25:27Speaker 2: about like we.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Need we need protection.
- 25:30Speaker 2: And I go to open it and I cannot figure
- 25:33Speaker 2: out how to close it.
- 25:34Speaker 3: And so I'm like carrying.
- 25:35Speaker 2: This knife around but I'm like youtubing how to close
- 25:38Speaker 2: this the model of this knife. I cannot find it anywhere.
- 25:43Speaker 2: So we go and we meet the movers at the
- 25:45Speaker 2: storage unit to move all Haley stuff, and I'm like
- 25:48Speaker 2: running in them with the knife and I'm like, can
- 25:49Speaker 2: you help me close this, and they're like laughing at me.
- 25:52Speaker 3: But now I feel I was cutting down boxes.
- 25:56Speaker 5: I was.
- 25:57Speaker 3: I felt like Cline, Like I really felt Cline energy.
- 26:00Speaker 3: You come out.
- 26:00Speaker 1: You know what, though, what a great idea to get
- 26:03Speaker 1: one of those opening boxes with the little pocket knife.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Sounds like the dream I'm always using like janky scissors
- 26:10Speaker 1: or my keys and like hurting my hands.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I was like tearing down the boxes so fast with.
- 26:15Speaker 1: The I need one of those. Honestly, I'm throwing away
- 26:19Speaker 1: boxes and our and our recycling bin that are like
- 26:22Speaker 1: fully boxed because I don't.
- 26:23Speaker 3: You can't do that. You have to there's too many boxes.
- 26:25Speaker 3: You have to break them down.
- 26:26Speaker 1: I don't have that many boxes.
- 26:29Speaker 4: Sorry.
- 26:30Speaker 6: Alison got a knife for cutting down boxes. We're at
- 26:32Speaker 6: this like Christmas market and this guy was selling knives
- 26:35Speaker 6: and he's like, I think this one's cursed because every
- 26:37Speaker 6: time I picked it up to work on it, I
- 26:39Speaker 6: got I got cut really bad. Nelson's like, give me
- 26:41Speaker 6: the devil knife. I want that one, so I'm afraid
- 26:43Speaker 6: of it so I don't touch it. But she uses
- 26:45Speaker 6: it to cut boxes open.
- 26:46Speaker 4: Left and right.
- 26:46Speaker 7: It's working great. What wow girl?
- 26:55Speaker 2: This year also, I have things I'm gonna work on,
- 26:58Speaker 2: but we'll talk about those after the school.
- 27:01Speaker 5: Wow, all right, we are back.
- 27:19Speaker 2: So I didn't really have a word going into the
- 27:21Speaker 2: new year.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, you like really still the show
- 27:25Speaker 1: with wife.
- 27:26Speaker 9: You know.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Honestly, this my word this year feels iconic, like I
- 27:30Speaker 1: don't know how next year I'll beat it.
- 27:32Speaker 3: But I loved your.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Word last year though, like try was so it just
- 27:35Speaker 2: everything you've had two really good strong like level up.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Was great too.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Yeah, technically two words.
- 27:43Speaker 4: I know, it's two words, and it's also doesn't have
- 27:45Speaker 4: the cleverness of the last I don't have the thoughtfulness
- 27:48Speaker 4: multiple layers.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I know. Yeah I've been I've been doing this for
- 27:53Speaker 1: so many years that I was just like I think
- 27:55Speaker 1: first year was like love or like you know what
- 27:56Speaker 1: I mean, like something so that like now making.
- 27:59Speaker 10: Dream laughter exactly, But now I'm making them like so
- 28:07Speaker 10: thoughtful and so intentional that I'm like, it's a lot
- 28:10Speaker 10: of work.
- 28:10Speaker 3: You need to start working on that by like August.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, usually to start November, but this next year
- 28:15Speaker 1: I'm going to start in September.
- 28:17Speaker 2: My new my word is a renovation because you're building
- 28:22Speaker 2: an IUD.
- 28:23Speaker 3: It's not that.
- 28:29Speaker 7: D y before AD.
- 28:36Speaker 2: So we're transforming. We're converting the garage into an additional
- 28:40Speaker 2: dwelling unit, which is AD.
- 28:43Speaker 3: And I've been wanting to do it for a while now, but.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Last year year to do it.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Last year I just kind of was like, this is
- 28:51Speaker 2: the same thing with you planning the wedding. I get
- 28:52Speaker 2: very overwhelmed with starting such a big project because I
- 28:57Speaker 2: fear like the unknown and like having to make decisions
- 29:02Speaker 2: on things.
- 29:02Speaker 3: It feels like so overwhelming that I'm.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Like, I'm fine, I don't have to mad decisions.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, where's all this stuff gonna go while
- 29:08Speaker 2: it's being done. It's gonna be a disaster out there
- 29:12Speaker 2: for a minute. Anyways, I was like, this year, I'm
- 29:15Speaker 2: gonna do it. This is the year I'm gonna do it.
- 29:17Speaker 2: And then Haley and I we both were She's like,
- 29:19Speaker 2: it's convinced that she's like a handyman or a handywoman,
- 29:22Speaker 2: and so she like was gonna hang stuff and needed
- 29:25Speaker 2: a drill and she had her dartboard from her place
- 29:27Speaker 2: that she wanted to hang outside and she's like, just
- 29:30Speaker 2: let me hang it, and I'm like, please don't put
- 29:32Speaker 2: tons of holes in the wall, Like please, She's like,
- 29:35Speaker 2: I measured it perfectly. We go to hang not perfect,
- 29:40Speaker 2: slightly a jar and I'm like, I tried to spray
- 29:44Speaker 2: paint this planter outside to make it an indoor planter
- 29:47Speaker 2: and make it look like really cool.
- 29:49Speaker 3: It looks so bad.
- 29:50Speaker 2: And we have the desire to be like Diy and
- 29:54Speaker 2: crafty and handy, but.
- 29:56Speaker 8: We're just not.
- 29:57Speaker 2: No, And maybe it takes practice, Like maybe we can
- 30:00Speaker 2: get there, but let's just hire someone who's good at.
- 30:03Speaker 1: It past grab it.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Yeah, we don't need to be putting this, taking.
- 30:08Speaker 2: This, are just disappointing ourselves.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Yeah, but we did get the dartboard hung.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Nice, and the ADU is going in this year.
- 30:17Speaker 2: I already had a meeting with the contractor and it's
- 30:20Speaker 2: going to begin soon.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Wow, I'm gonna, We're gonna, We're gonna do.
- 30:26Speaker 2: We're gonna make one of the rooms a built in
- 30:28Speaker 2: closet for Haley, like a walk in closet. And I
- 30:31Speaker 2: mean I have like I'm trying to get like two
- 30:33Speaker 2: vanity so we both have a spot at our makeup.
- 30:35Speaker 2: I'm redoing my guest bedroom in the house. It's the
- 30:38Speaker 2: year of renovation.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Wow. Yeah, it's like a lot a lot of projects. Yeah,
- 30:46Speaker 1: you can do it, and I can do it. You
- 30:47Speaker 1: can totally do it. But I do this all the time. Yeah,
- 30:51Speaker 1: that's what I tell myself. People get married all the time.
- 30:54Speaker 3: We get married all the time.
- 30:55Speaker 4: Some individuals get married.
- 30:57Speaker 2: On sukay ross from friends buried all the time. Yeah.
- 31:04Speaker 1: People can do it.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, people can do it.
- 31:06Speaker 1: I can do it, yeah yeah, yeah yeah.
- 31:08Speaker 2: And I also think that I think that majority of
- 31:13Speaker 2: my friend group is going to either have a child
- 31:16Speaker 2: by twenty twenty six or be with like pregnant with
- 31:19Speaker 2: child by twenty twenty six.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Disars.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I bought ovulation sticks for the first time.
- 31:29Speaker 3: I was like, what are you doing with those? Like
- 31:31Speaker 3: just traveling the wedding.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Just making sure, just just wanting to see when when
- 31:36Speaker 1: I think that I'm ovulating that I am.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Is it around the time that you were hoping?
- 31:43Speaker 1: I don't know. So what's so interesting is because I
- 31:46Speaker 1: cycle sync, so I we are aware. I know when
- 31:49Speaker 1: all my phases are, so like, I think I already know,
- 31:51Speaker 1: but I was like, I'm going to get these sticks
- 31:52Speaker 1: to peon just to like make sure that I know.
- 31:55Speaker 1: It says you're supposed to start on day eight peeing
- 31:57Speaker 1: on the stick so that you can really know. But
- 31:59Speaker 1: I was like, I'm I know my window, So my
- 32:02Speaker 1: window was starting today and I peed on it last
- 32:04Speaker 1: night and it said peak wow wow, how crazy is that?
- 32:09Speaker 1: Crazyble these things? I felt really good about it. I
- 32:14Speaker 1: was like, damn, but you.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Were gonna you were like, as soon as the wedding
- 32:18Speaker 2: is over, We're yeah, we're trying.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I don't know, I'm gonna have to like a lot
- 32:22Speaker 1: of math involved. I'm gonna have to take it one
- 32:24Speaker 1: period a time. Yeah, but I felt very strong about
- 32:28Speaker 1: my skills.
- 32:28Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 32:29Speaker 2: I just feel like there's just gonna be the shift
- 32:32Speaker 2: where everyone's going to become mummies.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Mummies, not me, not you, not.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Me, but Anti just Anti's glory Antie to so many
- 32:45Speaker 2: this year, just not you?
- 32:47Speaker 1: Period or not you right now?
- 32:50Speaker 3: A strong what's before? Semi colon?
- 32:56Speaker 1: Yeah, what's before?
- 32:59Speaker 3: I wouldn't say it's.
- 32:59Speaker 7: A period elypses. Maybe not a comma like the three dots, like.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Yeah, sure, yeah sounds that sounds the most relatable to
- 33:14Speaker 2: how I feel about it.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Okay, not one period, but like three dots.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Okay, okay.
- 33:20Speaker 2: What was your news that you were gonna tell us
- 33:21Speaker 2: at the beginning of the Oh.
- 33:24Speaker 3: The hands are out, palms are out.
- 33:27Speaker 1: So we were talking about this earlier about how we
- 33:29Speaker 1: were all catching up on stuff over the holidays, and
- 33:34Speaker 1: I caught up on a show.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Raised Anatomy that we've been.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Talking about for a very long time.
- 33:41Speaker 4: Wow, this is new. She kept this for me. We've
- 33:44Speaker 4: been together since this morning. I did not know this.
- 33:48Speaker 4: I watched.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I want to say, the last four episodes before the
- 33:55Speaker 1: finale where comes back in March.
- 33:59Speaker 3: What did you think?
- 34:00Speaker 1: Fantastic?
- 34:01Speaker 2: Wow?
- 34:03Speaker 1: Wow, like getting old Graves vibes.
- 34:11Speaker 4: So that was so funny on the TV is showing
- 34:13Speaker 4: highlights of the globe so you look up like everyone's
- 34:17Speaker 4: clapping when.
- 34:18Speaker 1: We were Yes, Wow, I loved it, wasn't he so
- 34:25Speaker 1: sucked in?
- 34:26Speaker 2: Yes?
- 34:26Speaker 1: Yeah? How did you feel like not back till March?
- 34:30Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 34:32Speaker 2: Shook.
- 34:34Speaker 1: I will say there's like a couple that I could
- 34:36Speaker 1: really do without.
- 34:37Speaker 4: That's always the Who is it?
- 34:39Speaker 1: I don't know their names, but it's a shepherd him
- 34:44Speaker 1: and the girl he's dating.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Why are why are they trying to make that relationship
- 34:48Speaker 2: happen so badly? Because for a long time they've been
- 34:50Speaker 2: trying to force it, and it doesn't seem to ever
- 34:52Speaker 2: be working out.
- 34:53Speaker 1: It's not, it's it just feels forced to me them
- 34:56Speaker 1: you do. That's all only Really, that's the only couple
- 35:01Speaker 1: that I'm not loving. Everybody else I'm loving.
- 35:05Speaker 3: It was so good.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been really it was really good. And I
- 35:08Speaker 1: also weirdly didn't feel lost, like I was like, oh, yeah,
- 35:12Speaker 1: it's like riding a bike picked it right back up.
- 35:15Speaker 2: When you've been watching for that long, you quickly pick
- 35:18Speaker 2: up on what's going on.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Yeah, was Owen just the worst, the worst?
- 35:23Speaker 1: But I still love him. We love Kevin McKidd. I
- 35:26Speaker 1: know Owen is the worst. I will not dissociate him.
- 35:30Speaker 4: Sophia Bush, was she in the episodes you watched?
- 35:33Speaker 3: Are you liking this teddy potential?
- 35:38Speaker 1: I guess so, But she's like married and in a
- 35:41Speaker 1: relation open relationship. I didn't feel like I feel like
- 35:45Speaker 1: you guys hyped it up more on the podcast than
- 35:47Speaker 1: it was hyped up on the show.
- 35:49Speaker 2: Sorry, well, I just feel like it's I just can't
- 35:54Speaker 2: tell if she's.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Going because it seems like not into it.
- 35:58Speaker 2: But everything Sophia Bush's character has done feels very innocent,
- 36:02Speaker 2: like she just happened to like put her hand on
- 36:04Speaker 2: is like, hey, if you need help, I can help.
- 36:06Speaker 2: And that's when Owen saw her right, feel like she
- 36:08Speaker 2: was making a move. I mean she kissed her, which
- 36:10Speaker 2: that was a move, but then she was like very apologetic,
- 36:13Speaker 2: like I'm sorry I read that wrong. Yeah, and then
- 36:15Speaker 2: she touched her shoulder. So it doesn't feel like she's
- 36:17Speaker 2: this villain character coming in, but I think she.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Could turn villainous.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Not villain but like tempting.
- 36:25Speaker 1: It was fantastic. It's very very good.
- 36:28Speaker 4: Sucks back in Grisatomy turns twenty in March, so I'm
- 36:32Speaker 4: glad that you're back, just in time.
- 36:34Speaker 1: I feel like last year at the Golden or last
- 36:35Speaker 1: night at the Golden Globes, everybody was saying that it's
- 36:37Speaker 1: been twenty years since this, twenty five years since this. Yeah,
- 36:41Speaker 1: like that's that's again the year of twenty twenty five,
- 36:43Speaker 1: so it is full circle moments.
- 36:46Speaker 4: Can you tell your other thump story because I enjoyed it.
- 36:50Speaker 1: So we're in bed the other night, Robbie two yes, okay,
- 36:53Speaker 1: two of us one two no kids okay, And we're
- 36:57Speaker 1: in bed, ready to go to bed, like took our Lemmies.
- 37:00Speaker 1: We were like in bed. Robbi's phone was already charging
- 37:02Speaker 1: in the bathroom, like we were settled.
- 37:05Speaker 4: Just to set this to the scene, what does Robbie
- 37:08Speaker 4: wearing of bed?
- 37:10Speaker 1: No, I know what he wears a bed.
- 37:12Speaker 3: He's winning the poop.
- 37:14Speaker 4: That is so fascinating to me. So Tanya is al
- 37:18Speaker 4: fla grante. Yes, I'll look that up anyway. Tanya's not
- 37:25Speaker 4: wearing anything. Robbie only wears a T shirt, right, nothing
- 37:29Speaker 4: that is fascinating. It's like a true wing of the poop,
- 37:31Speaker 4: like true porky picking it.
- 37:33Speaker 7: What on earth?
- 37:34Speaker 6: That's what I said, Never ever heard of that?
- 37:39Speaker 1: True? Like should I not be sharing this? I don't know?
- 37:44Speaker 1: Feels intimate.
- 37:44Speaker 7: It's so fascinating.
- 37:46Speaker 1: So we're like ready to go to bed, and my phone,
- 37:49Speaker 1: my thing says someone's at the front door. But for
- 37:52Speaker 1: some reason, my phone's messed up and I can't see.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I can't see on my phone. So and so he
- 37:57Speaker 1: goes into the bathroom and he looks at his phone.
- 37:59Speaker 1: He's like, cops, okay, put our clothes back on. And
- 38:06Speaker 1: Sunny's already like in her crate. So she's like barking
- 38:08Speaker 1: because like, you know what, I mean, like the doorbell's
- 38:10Speaker 1: ringing and we're getting up, we're turning on the lights,
- 38:12Speaker 1: so she's like, what's going on. We walked downstairs. Hello,
- 38:17Speaker 1: officers didn't open the door because it's ten forty five
- 38:21Speaker 1: at night, so we're like, this could be some like scam,
- 38:24Speaker 1: like I don't know, right, So we're talking to them
- 38:26Speaker 1: through the door and Rob was like sorry, but like
- 38:28Speaker 1: this is a little weird, and he's like, no, no, no,
- 38:29Speaker 1: we totally understand. We were doing some They were chasing
- 38:34Speaker 1: some car up our street and they had to do
- 38:37Speaker 1: like a three point turn in front of our house,
- 38:40Speaker 1: and their their truck backed into our brick and like
- 38:42Speaker 1: chipped it or something. So they just wanted wanted to
- 38:45Speaker 1: like show it to us, say like it was them
- 38:47Speaker 1: and they have to like file a report or whatever.
- 38:49Speaker 1: It was literally nothing like you probably wouldn't even notice
- 38:52Speaker 1: the chips in the brick, Like yeah, you would never
- 38:53Speaker 1: have noticed.
- 38:55Speaker 3: But it was very.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Alarming and like also very interesting because I'm like, why
- 38:58Speaker 1: is my first like instant I'm in trouble or like
- 39:01Speaker 1: something's wrong, you know, like.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Like what did you do that the cops are showing.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Us Like I'm like she went on a long walk, right, yeah,
- 39:10Speaker 1: I don't know, Like I was like, ah, my mind
- 39:13Speaker 1: was like racing, like I don't know. It was so crazy,
- 39:16Speaker 1: but it was a very weird. So nice though, so
- 39:20Speaker 1: so nice that they told us that they did.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Anybody bagging in your at ten forty five at night
- 39:24Speaker 4: is kind of alarmed.
- 39:25Speaker 2: I have to say, I appreciate that Robbie didn't open
- 39:29Speaker 2: the door because as I especially as two women. Right, no,
- 39:38Speaker 2: he had his clothes on, but he still was like,
- 39:40Speaker 2: you know what, they could still be dressed as cops,
- 39:43Speaker 2: like trying to get in the house. And and I'm
- 39:45Speaker 2: always like so paranoid about that, like if someone knocks
- 39:47Speaker 2: on the door, I talked to them through my ring
- 39:50Speaker 2: app on the door, well yeah.
- 39:52Speaker 3: What do you want?
- 39:53Speaker 1: Right?
- 39:53Speaker 2: But I love that even when cops he did that,
- 39:55Speaker 2: because it's so smart.
- 39:57Speaker 1: I was like, open the door, like, am I telling
- 39:59Speaker 1: to open the door?
- 40:00Speaker 3: Two ladies?
- 40:01Speaker 4: But then saw the car and so then you bought it.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I saw the car.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Could have been strippers, Yeah, one can hold the fresh.
- 40:10Speaker 4: The phrase I was looking for was didn flaggeranted alecto
- 40:12Speaker 4: by the way, but you know, sorry I used it wrong.
- 40:16Speaker 4: I should have.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Said, I think in twenty twenty five I might start
- 40:20Speaker 1: wearing pajamas. Wow, why it just seems so cozy. I
- 40:25Speaker 1: see very cozy on Instagram, like wearing their pajamas, and
- 40:28Speaker 1: I'm like, ah.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Like to sleep better.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Huh yeah, no, it's great.
- 40:35Speaker 4: Well let me ask you this, what do you wear
- 40:38Speaker 4: between say, shower and sleep?
- 40:41Speaker 5: My robe?
- 40:42Speaker 4: Just the robe, so like when you curl up to
- 40:44Speaker 4: watch a show before bad just rope. Okay, all right,
- 40:48Speaker 4: that would have been that'd be also a time for pajamas.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Right right, right right?
- 40:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, techically I wear like pajamas, like I'll
- 40:57Speaker 2: have a set on. If I'm like walking around the
- 40:59Speaker 2: house and then to go to bed, I put on
- 41:01Speaker 2: like an oversized T shirt and just under where that's
- 41:03Speaker 2: why I sleep in.
- 41:05Speaker 1: It just seems like so cluttery.
- 41:07Speaker 3: No, it's not the pants.
- 41:09Speaker 2: I can't sleep in pants to if they get wrapped
- 41:12Speaker 2: up or go like pantaloons.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Right, I can't sing like.
- 41:15Speaker 1: It just feels like a lot of like.
- 41:16Speaker 3: But an oversized, soft, cozy T shirt?
- 41:19Speaker 4: Perfect Easton what are you sleep in? He likes that
- 41:26Speaker 4: his shoulders get cold.
- 41:29Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm so I'm still hung up on
- 41:31Speaker 6: what Robbie, is it that he wants to go naked?
- 41:35Speaker 7: But he's like, that's what it is.
- 41:38Speaker 11: Yeah, Okay, Wow, is he only doing this to please
- 41:45Speaker 11: you or does he actually want to be Really?
- 41:48Speaker 1: I think this is how he's slept his.
- 41:50Speaker 4: Whole life commando.
- 41:52Speaker 1: Okay, what do you sleep in? Mark of pajamas?
- 41:55Speaker 4: No, I don't have pajamas, but I have these very
- 41:57Speaker 4: thin I call them sweatpants, but they're very thin, so
- 42:00Speaker 4: they're only pre jamma bottoms.
- 42:01Speaker 1: And a T shirt just feels like so much fabric
- 42:05Speaker 1: and top sheet.
- 42:06Speaker 4: And I will occasionally take off the pants if I'm
- 42:09Speaker 4: warm in the middle of the night, but the underpants
- 42:11Speaker 4: are not going off. I need co containment. I can't
- 42:16Speaker 4: have everything flopping around it.
- 42:20Speaker 5: That's the thing.
- 42:22Speaker 2: I'm fine with the T shirt underhere. I support a
- 42:24Speaker 2: man in a T shirt and undies. You know.
- 42:27Speaker 4: Remember I have that thing where my skin can't touch
- 42:30Speaker 4: my skin when I'm in bed, Like, I can't have
- 42:32Speaker 4: my knees touch I can't have I can't have skin
- 42:35Speaker 4: touch skin or knees touch knees. I need a pillow
- 42:38Speaker 4: between my knees. We've discussed this. Yeah, anyway, So yeah,
- 42:44Speaker 4: I can't have just flop city down.
- 42:47Speaker 7: Flop city. Well, look at you.
- 42:50Speaker 6: I wear a T shirt usually when I got for
- 42:54Speaker 6: free from the radio station, and sweatpants and then during
- 42:57Speaker 6: the summer underpants T shirt.
- 43:00Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 43:00Speaker 4: Similar.
- 43:02Speaker 1: I think you guys are all missing out.
- 43:05Speaker 3: Really, Yeah, we need to explain. Yeah, I feels like why.
- 43:11Speaker 6: That's the again, jan pants, no shirt completely makes sense
- 43:16Speaker 6: the way around.
- 43:18Speaker 7: I'm baffled.
- 43:19Speaker 4: That's baffling.
- 43:21Speaker 7: So he's like just very he runs very hot south
- 43:23Speaker 7: of the border. Is that what's happening.
- 43:25Speaker 1: I don't sleep with clothes on either, because I yeah,
- 43:27Speaker 1: like you just get hot.
- 43:28Speaker 6: And like, again that makes sense to me. Going completely
- 43:32Speaker 6: nude is makes sense. Yeah, just underwear or underwear just
- 43:37Speaker 6: the uture for a woman would be baffling too. Like
- 43:39Speaker 6: if you said you slept like that, I'd be like,
- 43:41Speaker 6: that's so bizarre.
- 43:44Speaker 4: I feel like it's less baffling for a woman. There's
- 43:47Speaker 4: less flopping going.
- 43:48Speaker 1: On, but like my topless, my boobs are flopping. Same thing.
- 43:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I would have a hard time with that.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, it's amazing. Wearing a T shirt while
- 43:58Speaker 1: I sleep sounds so constricting, but I'm gonna try it.
- 44:03Speaker 1: This year. I'm gonna try pajama the most comfortable pajamas
- 44:10Speaker 1: that's not to fine cozy earth, Okay, I'm gonna be
- 44:13Speaker 1: the best.
- 44:13Speaker 2: But also like Abercrombie's men's T shirts are the softest oversize,
- 44:20Speaker 2: so you get like an ex.
- 44:21Speaker 1: No, I want like a mad.
- 44:24Speaker 4: Wow are you really? Yes? I am?
- 44:26Speaker 3: Are they not the best? We sleep in?
- 44:30Speaker 2: It's all different sports teams and like Dailey could not
- 44:33Speaker 2: tell you a single NFL team other than probably the Chiefs,
- 44:37Speaker 2: and uh, we have like pretty much every team.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Like just no signage.
- 44:44Speaker 3: They do.
- 44:45Speaker 7: I mean the one I'm wearing is blank.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Yeah, they do. But at the time we didn't know.
- 44:49Speaker 2: We only knew what we knew, which was I had
- 44:51Speaker 2: a Laker shirt that we liked.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Anyway, I'm gonna try pajamas twenty twenty five.
- 45:14Speaker 2: I was gonna talk about the ins and outs of
- 45:16Speaker 2: twenty twenty five some of the things that people have listed.
- 45:18Speaker 1: So for you, in is pajamas, out is nude.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Okay, So in for fashion? What are your ins for fashion?
- 45:31Speaker 1: You tell me, I don't know.
- 45:33Speaker 3: I'm not that these This is what's in.
- 45:36Speaker 2: According to Glamour magazine, is Glamour or still magazine or
- 45:40Speaker 2: Glammer website.
- 45:41Speaker 4: Yeah, but GLAMORZ, yeah.
- 45:42Speaker 3: I know. I just didn't know. I thought it was
- 45:43Speaker 3: like a website.
- 45:44Speaker 4: I assume it's still in print.
- 45:45Speaker 2: But for fashion, the inns are headbands, brown sheer, socks,
- 45:52Speaker 2: bag charms, and ring watches. My sister has a ring watch.
- 45:57Speaker 2: It's like literally a tiny, tiny watch as a ring.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Oh really yeah, Like it has a face and everything.
- 46:04Speaker 4: I've never heard.
- 46:05Speaker 2: It's really cute. It's really cute. She makes everything cool though, Caroline. Yeah,
- 46:09Speaker 2: she just puts things on that I'm like, Oh, I
- 46:12Speaker 2: wouldn't have thought of that.
- 46:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna try doing that twenty twenty five too.
- 46:16Speaker 2: To see what you do for beauty looking like yourself
- 46:20Speaker 2: as in love using one skincare product blush blindness, which
- 46:26Speaker 2: I guess means a lot of blush is in for
- 46:30Speaker 2: pop culture, audio books, pop girlies, buying print magazines like
- 46:37Speaker 2: Glamor we took the bait, returning favorites, and TV like
- 46:45Speaker 2: The White Lotus.
- 46:47Speaker 4: By the way, I think it's next month.
- 46:49Speaker 2: And just like that, and trainers and traders look alike,
- 46:54Speaker 2: contest Broadway Instagram reels.
- 46:57Speaker 3: I feel like Wicked brought broad Wait. I feel like
- 47:00Speaker 3: it gave it a boot.
- 47:01Speaker 4: That is very true.
- 47:02Speaker 3: Yea, I bought that, by.
- 47:04Speaker 2: The way, like getting to watch that defying gravity scene
- 47:07Speaker 2: just whenever I want.
- 47:08Speaker 4: I can't get enough.
- 47:09Speaker 3: I have to wake up to it.
- 47:10Speaker 4: Every day we went to the singalong version, by the way,
- 47:13Speaker 4: where was Yeah, nationwide, certain showings each day were these
- 47:19Speaker 4: sing along specials. I was a little disapointed. I wanted
- 47:22Speaker 4: a full house singing along. Yeah, it was like half
- 47:25Speaker 4: full and some people weren't singing, so it wasn't quite
- 47:28Speaker 4: what I had in mind, but it was still fun.
- 47:30Speaker 3: Okay, Well, at my house it's just sing.
- 47:33Speaker 4: Along every show.
- 47:35Speaker 1: What's in for you.
- 47:37Speaker 2: For wellness? Eating, whenever you want? Regenerative travel, I don't
- 47:42Speaker 2: know what that means. Oh, like like wellness travel making
- 47:45Speaker 2: sleep a big focus. I'm ahead of the curb on
- 47:48Speaker 2: all these taking vitamins and board certified health information as
- 47:54Speaker 2: opposed to TikTok.
- 47:55Speaker 4: Doctors enjoy misinformation in general that's out there so much.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Are kind of.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Sad that we have to put them as like an
- 48:02Speaker 2: end list for five you know, out for fashion bows
- 48:08Speaker 2: and mushrooms, out micro trends for beauty.
- 48:13Speaker 3: Curling your lashes is out.
- 48:16Speaker 1: I've noticed that, Actually, whatn't me? I notice that people's
- 48:20Speaker 1: eyelashes have been so straight out, And I'm serious, like people,
- 48:28Speaker 1: the people of the magazine.
- 48:29Speaker 3: You're right, No, I swear.
- 48:31Speaker 1: I've been noticing it that people are like not curling
- 48:34Speaker 1: their lashes anymore, and I'm like perplexed by it.
- 48:37Speaker 2: Okay, wow, Well for pop culture, what's out is scary fandoms,
- 48:42Speaker 2: moody boy bands, alpha male podcast bros. Podcasts by celebrities
- 48:48Speaker 2: who only start a podcast because everyone started a podcast.
- 48:51Speaker 9: Oh no, those for wellness, backhanded compliments, buying with one click,
- 49:01Speaker 9: intermittent fasting.
- 49:03Speaker 1: That's out.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Yeah, these are out flaming bad qualities on astrology, waiting
- 49:08Speaker 2: for other people to change, calling things skinny, caring what
- 49:12Speaker 2: other people think.
- 49:14Speaker 1: They had some good ones amant to that.
- 49:16Speaker 3: The straight eyelashes was unexpected?
- 49:19Speaker 1: Who knew?
- 49:19Speaker 3: I'll curl for as long as I love me too.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Never will I have a straight lash?
- 49:26Speaker 9: Oh?
- 49:26Speaker 5: My, naturally straight?
- 49:30Speaker 1: You know.
- 49:32Speaker 3: Do you know that that sound?
- 49:36Speaker 1: There's this there's this restaurant in New York that Taylor
- 49:38Speaker 1: Swift has frequented a lot lately. What is it? It's
- 49:41Speaker 1: called the Corner Store. I went when I got there,
- 49:44Speaker 1: was she there? She was not? I had my eyes
- 49:47Speaker 1: on swivel. Yeah. But they had this drink It's called
- 49:51Speaker 1: the sour cream and onion Martini, and it was it's
- 49:55Speaker 1: like the popular TikTok drink from there. It was so
- 49:58Speaker 1: delicious and I just is the year to explore try
- 50:05Speaker 1: different things.
- 50:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I love that.
- 50:07Speaker 1: I never would have ordered a sour cream and onion
- 50:09Speaker 1: martini ever.
- 50:10Speaker 4: And it was sounds.
- 50:11Speaker 1: It was so good. You take a bite of the
- 50:13Speaker 1: chip and the you take a sip of the drink
- 50:16Speaker 1: and it was divine.
- 50:18Speaker 7: They give you serracrament onion chips. Yeah, is that favor there?
- 50:23Speaker 1: No, they put sour cream like vermooth splash, oh okay,
- 50:28Speaker 1: like they in and out it. I don't really know
- 50:29Speaker 1: how things are made, but there's like a splash in
- 50:33Speaker 1: and out splash of the sour cream vermooth. It was
- 50:36Speaker 1: so good.
- 50:38Speaker 3: I'm all about that.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Thank you. Did you watch the Globes last night?
- 50:42Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 50:42Speaker 5: I did?
- 50:42Speaker 8: You did?
- 50:43Speaker 2: I watched like some of them. I was late to starting.
- 50:46Speaker 2: It was going to the beach yesterday.
- 50:48Speaker 3: Oh, end of the day.
- 50:50Speaker 2: I ended the break at the beach. It was so
- 50:52Speaker 2: nice to see the water the sunset, say goodbye to
- 50:56Speaker 2: the break the year, Welcome.
- 50:58Speaker 1: In the new, in the new YEA spent it like
- 51:01Speaker 1: watching the globes all day.
- 51:02Speaker 2: Well, so then I came back to my place, Taylor
- 51:06Speaker 2: Banks came over. We watched the globes and what'd you think?
- 51:10Speaker 1: I loved them, interesting hated them.
- 51:13Speaker 3: I would say I was more indifferent. Really, yeah, what
- 51:17Speaker 3: did you love? I loved to send me more speech.
- 51:21Speaker 1: I was obsessed with her speech, like gave me chills.
- 51:25Speaker 1: I feel like I was We got tay break.
- 51:27Speaker 4: If you'd like to hear it. Yeah, just know.
- 51:33Speaker 1: You will never be enough, but you can know the
- 51:37Speaker 1: value of your worth if you just put down the
- 51:40Speaker 1: measuring stick.
- 51:41Speaker 3: M m, it's good stuff.
- 51:44Speaker 1: It's SuDS. So I felt like I cared about the
- 51:47Speaker 1: people that were at the Golden Globes more than I've
- 51:49Speaker 1: ever cared about the people. I loved all the tables,
- 51:52Speaker 1: like I was fascinated with like because I think I
- 51:55Speaker 1: just watched the Bob Dylan movie. So timithate Challamet's table
- 51:58Speaker 1: like it was so cute to me, and I was
- 51:59Speaker 1: like interested in that. I was just very interested in
- 52:02Speaker 1: I feel like Nikki Glazer did a good job.
- 52:04Speaker 3: He liked great.
- 52:05Speaker 1: Piping in the comedy throughout the show, so I was like,
- 52:10Speaker 1: I even thought the presenters were like funny, you know,
- 52:12Speaker 1: like what's his name? The two people from Wicked, Michelle
- 52:15Speaker 1: Yo and Jet Bull Boom. I thought their intro was
- 52:19Speaker 1: hilarious where they were like, what's a zaddie? And I
- 52:22Speaker 1: was crying laughing, like I just found it to be
- 52:25Speaker 1: very good, more so than I liked in the past.
- 52:28Speaker 2: I love Nikki Glazer because she does like a roast
- 52:31Speaker 2: and it's funny, but it's never like too far where
- 52:34Speaker 2: you're like yikes, you know, or sometimes they go like
- 52:39Speaker 2: like last.
- 52:39Speaker 1: Year with Joey Coy, joe Coy, Yeah, yeah.
- 52:43Speaker 3: So I feel like she did a really good job.
- 52:44Speaker 2: There's one joke she made about Harrison Ford and the reaction,
- 52:48Speaker 2: We're like, what, like he looked kind of pissed, but
- 52:51Speaker 2: he always looks kind of pissed.
- 52:53Speaker 1: Honestly, some of her jokes I didn't understand.
- 52:55Speaker 4: This is really funny. I thought.
- 52:57Speaker 12: Amelia Perez earned ten nominations for net Flex and I
- 53:01Speaker 12: loved it.
- 53:02Speaker 3: I think it is, without a doubt.
- 53:03Speaker 12: The most audacious, groundbreaking film to ever auto play after
- 53:07Speaker 12: is it case.
- 53:07Speaker 4: Seriously, that's the weird media world we live in.
- 53:14Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it was, it was. They were good.
- 53:17Speaker 4: Yeah, there's another one similar, kind of if you're watching
- 53:20Speaker 4: on CBS.
- 53:21Speaker 12: Hello, if you're watching on Paramount Plus, you have six
- 53:24Speaker 12: days left to cancel your free trial.
- 53:27Speaker 1: I like the joke about Wicked too, do have that.
- 53:29Speaker 12: I did not know much about Wicked going into this
- 53:32Speaker 12: year because I had.
- 53:32Speaker 3: Friends in high school.
- 53:33Speaker 8: But I loved it.
- 53:37Speaker 3: But I loved it so much. Everyone loved Wicked.
- 53:40Speaker 1: I loved Wicked.
- 53:40Speaker 3: My boyfriend loved Wicked.
- 53:42Speaker 12: My boyfriend's boyfriend really loved Wicked.
- 53:46Speaker 4: She's great.
- 53:47Speaker 2: Yeah, she's she's It's funny because she's been around for
- 53:50Speaker 2: so long, but just the past couple of years, I
- 53:54Speaker 2: feel like people she's like getting.
- 53:56Speaker 1: It was the top Brady roast that like sealed the
- 53:59Speaker 1: deal for her to host this.
- 54:01Speaker 4: That was like a standing ovation. Kevin Hart was worshiping
- 54:04Speaker 4: her on the ground. It was really good.
- 54:05Speaker 2: Yeah, well, this actually brings them back to a show
- 54:09Speaker 2: that you're gonna watch not at all? Oh, okay, all
- 54:11Speaker 2: this justin Baldoni and Blake Lively stuff, Right, I watched
- 54:16Speaker 2: that movie.
- 54:17Speaker 3: Yeah, what'd you think?
- 54:20Speaker 1: My opinion because I feel like you're about to say something.
- 54:23Speaker 3: No, no, no, it's just it was.
- 54:24Speaker 2: I'm just so confused because it's such a fascinating way
- 54:28Speaker 2: of how we view things based on the videos and
- 54:31Speaker 2: the content that we watch.
- 54:32Speaker 3: Because you go on TikTok and it was.
- 54:34Speaker 2: All anti Blake, right, everything, They're pulling up old interviews,
- 54:39Speaker 2: it's just back to back, and then this comes out
- 54:42Speaker 2: and then it's all everyone's like, oh I was wrong,
- 54:44Speaker 2: it's all him, and then.
- 54:46Speaker 3: It's like these text men.
- 54:47Speaker 2: It's just like everything's so so based on perception and
- 54:51Speaker 2: how one person views something in context.
- 54:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so fascinating.
- 54:56Speaker 1: I I'm so upset that I watched it when I did,
- 54:59Speaker 1: because I feel like all the drama overshadowed, Like I
- 55:02Speaker 1: couldn't watch the movie with virgin eyes. And it was fantastic. Yeah,
- 55:10Speaker 1: Like it was so well done. I have never and
- 55:17Speaker 1: I know this is a hard maybe we have a
- 55:19Speaker 1: trigger warning for domestic violence because that's what the movie
- 55:22Speaker 1: is about. But I have always you know, when you
- 55:27Speaker 1: hear stories of domestic violence, you think, why don't you
- 55:32Speaker 1: just leave him? Like that's my That's always been my
- 55:34Speaker 1: first thought. And I think the movie did such a
- 55:36Speaker 1: good job of showing that side of it, like, oh
- 55:41Speaker 1: my gosh, yeah, you love this person, You're so in it.
- 55:44Speaker 1: They're saying they're never gonna do it again. He's got
- 55:47Speaker 1: a good job, a good family, she's best friends with
- 55:50Speaker 1: his sister, you know what I mean, Like all those
- 55:52Speaker 1: things they did such a good job of, Like, yeah,
- 55:56Speaker 1: where I've never had that perspective before, and I feel
- 55:59Speaker 1: like they did an incredible job in the movie. Like
- 56:02Speaker 1: I'm surprised she didn't get nominated for anything. I'm shocked
- 56:06Speaker 1: she didn't get nominated for anything.
- 56:07Speaker 3: Well, I think, yeah, I don't.
- 56:10Speaker 2: I mean, when you're up against movies that are nominated
- 56:14Speaker 2: for these they're so.
- 56:16Speaker 1: I feel like this was up there.
- 56:18Speaker 3: To me, it's more of a.
- 56:19Speaker 2: Pop culture like they almost put like Wicket almost in
- 56:22Speaker 2: this pop culture and almost Baby Girl. I know Nicole
- 56:25Speaker 2: Kimmen was nominated, but it kind of goes in the same,
- 56:27Speaker 2: like kind of pop culture.
- 56:28Speaker 1: They were all nominated.
- 56:31Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right, maybe all this drama they were just
- 56:33Speaker 3: kind of.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Like staying away. Yeah, yeah, I don't know. I thought
- 56:36Speaker 1: it was really really well done.
- 56:38Speaker 2: Well, it just what I was thinking about the Nicki
- 56:40Speaker 2: Glazer thing because she got so much positive feedback on
- 56:44Speaker 2: TikTok and it propelled this.
- 56:47Speaker 3: Idea that she was that she is so great, which
- 56:50Speaker 3: she is.
- 56:50Speaker 2: But it's so it's so interesting how it could have
- 56:52Speaker 2: turned with like a few TikTok videos being like, oh
- 56:55Speaker 2: my gosh, she was so distasteful.
- 56:57Speaker 3: I didn't like it.
- 56:57Speaker 2: It wasn't funny, and that could have shifted how she
- 57:01Speaker 2: was perceived.
- 57:02Speaker 3: And it's just so crazy how.
- 57:04Speaker 2: That's how our social media and how our brains work.
- 57:07Speaker 2: When we see a collective dog pile on one person,
- 57:10Speaker 2: we're like, yeah.
- 57:11Speaker 4: Jie Coy last year, he got dog polled, dog piled
- 57:14Speaker 4: on in a big way, a.
- 57:15Speaker 1: Big way, yeah, which.
- 57:18Speaker 4: I mean maybe deserveently, so yes, you're.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Right, But it takes one a few videos to get
- 57:23Speaker 2: the ball rolling and then people jump on it and
- 57:25Speaker 2: it's like instantly there's a general generalized opinion about this person.
- 57:30Speaker 3: It's scary, but.
- 57:31Speaker 4: It's also interesting how like some people when that happens,
- 57:35Speaker 4: even when they get a big negative blowback, it still
- 57:37Speaker 4: helps their career because their name recognition. Joe Coy hasn't
- 57:41Speaker 4: been heard from since the gold last year, so I
- 57:43Speaker 4: think the opposite happened.
- 57:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it can go one way or the other.
- 57:47Speaker 4: It can.
- 57:48Speaker 1: And like Justin Baldoni is getting like awards removed, his
- 57:52Speaker 1: agents are dropping him like it's sane.
- 57:55Speaker 2: And that's the that's the thing that has my mind going,
- 58:00Speaker 2: what's going on? Right?
- 58:02Speaker 9: You know?
- 58:03Speaker 1: Hopefully find out at some point.
- 58:04Speaker 3: Maybe we will, maybe we will.
- 58:06Speaker 2: All I know is I don't know either of them
- 58:09Speaker 2: stand and I'm a Robin Lively stand.
- 58:12Speaker 3: Yeah. Is that it is?
- 58:16Speaker 1: That it that's it.
- 58:17Speaker 4: I think that's our show.
- 58:18Speaker 3: But we'll be back on Thursday.
- 58:20Speaker 4: So don't be sad.
- 58:22Speaker 3: Because we will.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Don't turn sad, be glad.
- 58:26Speaker 2: We hope you have a wonderful Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
- 58:32Speaker 2: We'll be back on Thursday, so we know you'll have
- 58:35Speaker 2: a great Thursday, and then Friday and Saturday and Sunday,
- 58:41Speaker 2: and I'll not we'll say goodbye bye.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Talk soon to be continued. Enjoy
