- 0:11Speaker 1: It's Dunaidial.

- 0:54Speaker 1: Listen in, listen up. Woo, woo.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Heather MacDonald.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Juicy Scoop.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Hello, and welcome to Juicy Scoop. All right, we've got
- 1:05Speaker 3: a real juicy interview, lots of little follow-ups to some topics,
- 1:08Speaker 3: and then I get into a great interview in which
- 1:12Speaker 3: this woman who was the subject of an American Greed
- 1:14Speaker 3: episode comes in and tells all the details of her
- 1:16Speaker 3: juicy story in which she thought she hired a fabulous
- 1:20Speaker 3: assistant that was going to help fix her life. Instead,
- 1:23Speaker 3: only to find out she was a very experienced criminal
- 1:27Speaker 3: and con woman. Super juicy, and what a tale. All right.
- 1:33Speaker 3: So this is what a experienced lip reader believes J-Lo
- 1:38Speaker 3: said to her husband, miserable Ben Affleck, which everyone's wondering
- 1:44Speaker 3: about it. Everyone's analyzing it. This is what they think.
- 1:47Speaker 1: They think that she said, stop. He's like right behind her.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Stop.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Look more friendly. Look motivated. And then he goes, I might.
- 1:57Speaker 3: And then the camera came and they're like, he's like, Anyway,
- 2:04Speaker 3: good times. We can finally see that great Dunkin' Donut
- 2:07Speaker 3: commercial that we saw them filming it for. That's going
- 2:10Speaker 3: to be during the Super Bowl. So love to them.
- 2:13Speaker 3: I also love that someone put a little compilation tape
- 2:17Speaker 3: together of how much fun she used to have with A-Rod.
- 2:19Speaker 3: And they used to be like dancing. He loved to dance.
- 2:22Speaker 3: He loved the social media. He would be filming her.
- 2:25Speaker 3: He would do the matching outfits. He also DM'd Madison
- 2:28Speaker 3: LaCroix from Southern Charms. So that wasn't great. And I
- 2:32Speaker 3: don't think she's better off with him. I just don't
- 2:34Speaker 3: think Ben is down to dance and hang out at
- 2:38Speaker 3: these events the way Thirsty A-Rod was. He would, I
- 2:41Speaker 3: think he just, he needs to get another film and
- 2:44Speaker 3: then maybe he won't be so miserable at her events.
- 2:46Speaker 3: But the fact he really is just, he's not a dancer.
- 2:49Speaker 3: He's not a dancer.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:52Speaker 3: The loofahs for the swingers, you guys, they put them
- 2:55Speaker 3: on their golf carts.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:57Speaker 3: That's in the community. And, um, but I heard from
- 3:00Speaker 3: a lot of people that this absolutely is a real thing.
- 3:03Speaker 3: It's totally happening. And, um, and I guess a lot
- 3:07Speaker 3: of people don't have antennas on their car. They're like,
- 3:08Speaker 3: how old are you, Heather? No one has an antenna
- 3:11Speaker 3: on the car, but I did see it, but it
- 3:12Speaker 3: must've been what I saw like on golf carts. Anyway,
- 3:15Speaker 3: get your loofahs on. Also, I was wrong about Keanu Reeves.
- 3:20Speaker 3: And his girlfriend, he is 58 and she is only 49.
- 3:25Speaker 3: But in Hollywood years, that still makes her older than
- 3:28Speaker 3: he is. And she has naturally gray hair. So that's
- 3:31Speaker 3: why I mistaken it. Also, Oprah's birthday party was, I
- 3:39Speaker 3: guess she didn't have a real birthday in which she
- 3:41Speaker 3: snubbed Meghan Markle. At the Anastasia eyebrow event with Kim Kardashian, JLo,
- 3:48Speaker 3: Kris Jenner, and Gayle and everybody, I guess it was
- 3:53Speaker 3: her birthday and they brought out a cake. So kind
- 3:56Speaker 3: of celebrated her birthday, but it wasn't a real event.
- 3:58Speaker 3: So in a way, she totally gets away with not
- 4:02Speaker 3: inviting Meghan Markle. But she didn't invite me, and I
- 4:04Speaker 3: won't forgive her. Real Housewives of New Jersey premiered last night.
- 4:09Speaker 3: And it is going to be a season of what
- 4:12Speaker 3: the hell is going to happen between Melissa and Joe, Gorga,
- 4:16Speaker 3: and Teresa. We know that they, you know, like every reunion,
- 4:21Speaker 3: didn't get along at the end of the reunion. And
- 4:24Speaker 3: we see in the show that Melissa reached out to
- 4:28Speaker 3: her right after the reunion, but didn't hear back. All
- 4:32Speaker 3: About the Truth, which is a great Instagram account, has
- 4:34Speaker 3: since shared all these DMs between Melissa and not DMs,
- 4:39Speaker 3: text messages between Melissa and Teresa. I assume Teresa gave
- 4:42Speaker 3: them to her. That really proved that Teresa, if in
- 4:46Speaker 3: fact these are the only exchanges, which it looks like
- 4:49Speaker 3: it is according to how it reads, that Teresa was
- 4:54Speaker 3: receptive to Melissa, very nice, got her son a gift
- 4:59Speaker 3: for his birthday, invited them to Teresa's 50th birthday in
- 5:04Speaker 3: which they declined. And we see on the show that
- 5:06Speaker 3: they just made an excuse. They didn't want to go.
- 5:08Speaker 3: And it's really weird watching it because we don't understand
- 5:11Speaker 3: why he, Joe, and Melissa are holding a grudge against Teresa.
- 5:17Speaker 3: It seems kind of manufactured. But she's like, I'm fine
- 5:20Speaker 3: not being in the wedding. Let's just move forward. So
- 5:25Speaker 3: I think this season will be very interesting. But again,
- 5:29Speaker 3: it's confusing to why what the real beef is. And
- 5:32Speaker 3: now we know the real beef stems back from 13
- 5:35Speaker 3: years ago because I cracked the case when I had
- 5:37Speaker 3: Carlos King on. When we really realized from the start, Teresa,
- 5:41Speaker 3: I think, was telling the truth. She was blindsided when
- 5:43Speaker 3: they came on the show. And ever since then, it
- 5:46Speaker 3: just hasn't been the same. Their relationship wasn't great to start.
- 5:49Speaker 3: And being on this massive TV show where they're all
- 5:52Speaker 3: fighting for fame and their place in this world has
- 5:56Speaker 3: not worked out too well. Now, on Watch What Happens Live, Dolores...
- 6:01Speaker 3: was on with Andy and she says, I never want
- 6:04Speaker 3: to break up families. I always think stick with family.
- 6:07Speaker 3: But at this point, I really think that they need
- 6:10Speaker 3: to go their separate ways. So the only way they
- 6:14Speaker 3: can really be done with each other and go their
- 6:16Speaker 3: separate ways is if one of them, either Joe Gorga
- 6:20Speaker 3: or Teresa, meaning Joe and Melissa or Teresa, leave the show.
- 6:25Speaker 3: So I don't know, but this season's going to be good.
- 6:27Speaker 3: All the guys are there. There's a couple new girls.
- 6:29Speaker 3: They have a a disco roller, not a disco, a
- 6:32Speaker 3: eighties roller skating party, which is not a flattering look
- 6:34Speaker 3: on anybody, but they looked okay. I just hate that look.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I hate neon.
- 6:38Speaker 3: And so anyway, and then the guys do get greased
- 6:42Speaker 3: up and do a calendar for charity. It's, it wasn't great. Um,
- 6:47Speaker 3: I didn't need to see all of their bodies, but
- 6:50Speaker 3: you know, everyone's got a man. So that's nice. No
- 6:53Speaker 3: one's single, which is weird. Cause most, most of the shows,
- 6:56Speaker 3: the girls are single. Um, So we'll see, you know,
- 6:59Speaker 3: we'll see what happens with this season, but it's going
- 7:02Speaker 3: to be Teresa versus Joe Gorga. Follow up on what
- 7:08Speaker 3: happened with Dina, I'm sorry, with Caroline Manzo and Brandi Glanville.
- 7:16Speaker 3: According to Page Six, another article came out that she also,
- 7:22Speaker 3: Brandi also touched Caroline Manzo's chest, meaning her boobies, and
- 7:26Speaker 3: she her genital areas, meaning her vag. According to page six,
- 7:31Speaker 3: she tried to kiss her several times throughout the night.
- 7:34Speaker 3: And then Brandy, Caroline, Alex McCord, and an unidentified cast member,
- 7:40Speaker 3: we don't know who else, went into the bathroom, the
- 7:42Speaker 3: four of them. And Brandy then locked the door and
- 7:47Speaker 3: pushed Caroline up against the wall in which she then
- 7:49Speaker 3: touched her chest and her vag. Now the cameras weren't there,
- 7:54Speaker 3: but their mics were on. And so there is some
- 7:57Speaker 3: evidence that this is what happened. At that point, Caroline
- 8:00Speaker 3: Manzo was very uncomfortable. And Alex McCord, to the rescue,
- 8:05Speaker 3: unlocked the door and released Caroline Manzo. Now Brandi's saying,
- 8:11Speaker 3: get your facts straight. You don't know what's going on.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 8:15Speaker 3: But the only thing that's going to save her is
- 8:18Speaker 3: if Dr. Drew brings back Celebrity Rehab and she goes
- 8:21Speaker 3: on Celebrity Rehab. Brandi Glanville. Until she goes to a
- 8:25Speaker 3: real rehab and it should be televised because everything she
- 8:29Speaker 3: does needs to be a paycheck and be televised. And
- 8:33Speaker 3: why not get sober and get paid for it and
- 8:35Speaker 3: get to be on TV? Then I think Bravo can
- 8:38Speaker 3: bring her back. But until then, this is bad. And
- 8:42Speaker 3: I don't think they're going to bring her back for
- 8:43Speaker 3: anything until this is cleared up. There's also talk that
- 8:46Speaker 3: she might not be on The Traders Reunion, which is
- 8:49Speaker 3: her other show on Peacock, which she was on and
- 8:51Speaker 3: everyone loves that show. I don't know. Like I said,
- 8:54Speaker 3: I'm never out to get anyone fired. But of all
- 8:56Speaker 3: the people that you think might be receptive to your
- 8:59Speaker 3: drunken lesbian antics, I think Caroline Manzo would be the
- 9:03Speaker 3: bottom of the freaking list. Everyone was freaking out yesterday.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Is Leonardo DiCaprio dating this 19-year-old Israeli model that was
- 9:13Speaker 3: seated next to him at a party? Well, today they
- 9:16Speaker 3: said no. Sources say that's not true. He was just
- 9:20Speaker 3: next to her. You know, it shouldn't be that everybody
- 9:23Speaker 3: that he's next to counts as someone that he was
- 9:25Speaker 3: dating because people are pretty grossed out.
- 9:28Speaker 1: She's 19.
- 9:29Speaker 3: There were tweets that were like, you know, her high
- 9:31Speaker 3: school was disrupted by COVID. That's how young she is.
- 9:35Speaker 3: She was born in 2003, which was a couple of
- 9:37Speaker 3: years after Titanic even came out. So he's 48, even
- 9:42Speaker 3: though he still looks like a baby face to us.
- 9:45Speaker 3: It's gross.
- 9:46Speaker 1: It's he's an old man.
- 9:47Speaker 3: The fact that he never even considers dating someone in
- 9:51Speaker 3: their 30s, which would still be 18 years younger than he.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Is kind of gross, dude.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Like what what is your problem like why don't you
- 9:59Speaker 3: want anyone that's lived on earth a little bit longer
- 10:04Speaker 3: however I don't know that they're dating this girl is
- 10:06Speaker 3: really gorgeous and her last boyfriend was like a 31
- 10:10Speaker 3: year old um billionaire son so I don't know why
- 10:13Speaker 3: that didn't work out but that's who she should be
- 10:15Speaker 3: with and um so hopefully they're not together but she's Stunning. Okay.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Now Madonna for Madonna. So Madonna had a really unfortunate
- 10:29Speaker 3: look at the Grammys. Now we all know a lot
- 10:32Speaker 3: of people are not a fan of the work that
- 10:35Speaker 3: she's had done on her face. It's a filler and
- 10:39Speaker 3: it's a very extreme facelift. It's pulled up, pulled up
- 10:44Speaker 3: around the ear and like pulled back and everything. Now,
- 10:49Speaker 3: I don't know why she wears this awful hairdo, which
- 10:52Speaker 3: is slick down and little braids coming forward and then
- 10:57Speaker 3: these braids going around the head. And why she does
- 11:02Speaker 3: blonde brows.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Horrible.
- 11:04Speaker 3: If she would have had normal brows on, wore like
- 11:07Speaker 3: some blonde hair or any color hair, kind of covering
- 11:10Speaker 3: the fucked up ear and the puffy side of the face,
- 11:14Speaker 3: then I think she probably could have looked really pretty.
- 11:16Speaker 3: But this was the look she wanted. And people didn't
- 11:18Speaker 3: like it. They were terrified. And they compared her to
- 11:25Speaker 3: Jigsaw from, what's this movie called again? From Saw.
- 11:31Speaker 1: And that's the puppet that I have been.
- 11:33Speaker 3: I think, honestly, I still look more like Jigsaw than
- 11:36Speaker 3: Madonna because of the jaw and my sunken eyes. However,
- 11:43Speaker 3: these really are my cheeks. And I've never had cheek
- 11:46Speaker 3: filler before. But when you get this filler face, you
- 11:51Speaker 3: can look a lot like either Jigsaw or me. So
- 11:54Speaker 3: either one, some people don't like it. But she went
- 11:57Speaker 3: off and she was like, I'm so sick of this shit.
- 12:01Speaker 3: And so she says, once again, I'm caught in the
- 12:07Speaker 3: glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we
- 12:10Speaker 3: live in, a world that refuses to celebrate women past
- 12:13Speaker 3: the age of 45 and and feels the need to
- 12:15Speaker 3: punish her if she continues to be strong-willed, hardworking, and adventurous.
- 12:18Speaker 3: I've never apologized for any of the creative choices I've made,
- 12:21Speaker 3: nor the way I look or dress, and I'm not
- 12:23Speaker 3: going to start. And then, so, it's right. Look, you
- 12:30Speaker 3: don't like my look. You don't like my weird hairdo, Heather.
- 12:34Speaker 3: You don't like my outfit. I don't really care. But
- 12:37Speaker 3: at the same time, we can say we don't like it.
- 12:40Speaker 3: I think her face is fine. It just, she needs eyebrows.
- 12:44Speaker 3: And she cannot wear her hair back. I don't understand
- 12:46Speaker 3: why so many women of a certain age are slicking
- 12:49Speaker 3: back their hair or doing like a weird high pony.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I just, I don't think it's a wise choice. That's it.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Harry was supposedly in talks to do Prince Harry, the
- 13:00Speaker 3: spare to host SNL. And then it didn't happen. I
- 13:04Speaker 3: think it's because there was a lot of controversy after
- 13:07Speaker 3: the book came out and they're just like, let's just
- 13:09Speaker 3: not even. So he didn't get that. However, according to
- 13:12Speaker 3: page six today, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly
- 13:15Speaker 3: planning to produce romantic comedies.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Yes.
- 13:21Speaker 3: They got the $ 100 million from Netflix for their doc,
- 13:24Speaker 3: but they also have a several-year deal. So I don't
- 13:26Speaker 3: know if part of that deal is to create other
- 13:28Speaker 3: shows or if this is a whole other thing or
- 13:30Speaker 3: if it's just bullshit. But, you know, this is what
- 13:33Speaker 3: everybody does. I love this because people always go, you
- 13:36Speaker 3: know what? So much is going on in the world.
- 13:39Speaker 3: We're going to do documentaries. We are going to talk about.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Important things with women and children and the UN. And
- 13:48Speaker 3: once they realize nobody cares and they're not even a fan,
- 13:51Speaker 3: then they're like, you know what? We just need to escape.
- 13:54Speaker 1: We just need to do something fun and light. Whatever.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Go produce a Hallmark or a Lifetime movie. I don't know.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Will it really matter if they produce it or not?
- 14:05Speaker 3: So she'll probably hire someone who goes around and reads
- 14:09Speaker 3: some young adult romantic books, go to Barnes and Noble,
- 14:12Speaker 3: buy about 10 of them, read them, then tell me
- 14:16Speaker 3: if they're good. And then I'll go to Netflix and
- 14:18Speaker 3: I'll say, we want to do this one and this
- 14:19Speaker 3: one and this one. And then we still don't do
- 14:22Speaker 3: anything because we're not movie producers. That's all it is.
- 14:25Speaker 3: So if they produce some show, that's all it is.
- 14:28Speaker 3: They'll find a book, they'll make that a movie, and
- 14:33Speaker 3: then they go to the premiere and that's it. That's
- 14:36Speaker 3: how these things work. Tom Girardi is trying real hard
- 14:39Speaker 3: for everyone to believe that he is hardcore Alzheimer's. Some
- 14:43Speaker 3: people noticed that they didn't even wipe the food off
- 14:46Speaker 3: of his sweater and that his mask was askew. As
- 14:51Speaker 3: you know, he's being indicted on all these criminal charges
- 14:55Speaker 3: now for all the fraud that he's committed in the
- 14:58Speaker 3: last decade. And he's really pushing to look like a
- 15:02Speaker 3: lot of people don't think he he's they think all
- 15:05Speaker 3: this is an act so he can avoid standing trial or,
- 15:10Speaker 3: you know, worse going to prison. Christine from Sister Wives
- 15:17Speaker 3: just did an Instagram or a TikTok and she does
- 15:20Speaker 3: car confessions.
- 15:24Speaker 4: I am so excited to share with you guys that
- 15:27Speaker 4: I met a guy. Oh, he's so special and he's
- 15:32Speaker 4: so good with Truly and this is what I've always
- 15:37Speaker 4: wanted and how I wanted to be loved and it's
- 15:42Speaker 4: just It's just wonderful. And I will share everything with
- 15:47Speaker 4: you guys. But right now, I just want to keep
- 15:49Speaker 4: this special guy to myself. But I wanted to just
- 15:52Speaker 4: share that with you. So everyone's all really excited for her.
- 15:56Speaker 3: And hopefully, you know, we'll see it on the show.
- 16:01Speaker 3: And can't wait to see Cody's reaction. We haven't seen
- 16:10Speaker 3: a lot of Cody, except that there were some striking
- 16:13Speaker 3: photos that looks like he got his lips done from
- 16:15Speaker 3: possibly the same doctor as Madonna, which is very scary.
- 16:20Speaker 3: I saw this in People magazine. The latest episode, or
- 16:24Speaker 3: maybe it'll be the next episode. I don't know if
- 16:26Speaker 3: people got a screener or not, but Chrisley knows best.
- 16:30Speaker 3: This last season has been shot and aired, and it
- 16:34Speaker 3: starts out with before they've been convicted of anything, and
- 16:39Speaker 3: she is all annoyed with Todd. Julie is. Because he
- 16:43Speaker 3: is gutting another house that she thought they were going
- 16:46Speaker 3: to move into. And he loves flipping houses and everything.
- 16:48Speaker 3: And she's like, I just want to be settled. I
- 16:51Speaker 3: just want to be in one place for a while.
- 16:54Speaker 3: I'd just like to be in one place for a
- 16:55Speaker 3: few years.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Can I just be in.
- 16:57Speaker 3: One place for a few years? Well, talk about working
- 17:00Speaker 3: the secret, girl. Because you'll be in that one place
- 17:03Speaker 3: for seven years. And he'll be in one place for nine.
- 17:06Speaker 3: And you won't have to deal with him flipping a
- 17:10Speaker 3: house that you don't want to flip. I thought that
- 17:12Speaker 3: was kind of ironic. And then Gabby Petito, I just
- 17:17Speaker 3: want to finish up on this. This came out yesterday.
- 17:21Speaker 3: What is going on with Gabby Petito? As you remember,
- 17:23Speaker 3: this is the story that we were captivated by when
- 17:26Speaker 3: we didn't know where she was. And unfortunately, we got
- 17:28Speaker 3: confirmation that her boyfriend did murder her. He later killed himself,
- 17:33Speaker 3: but he murdered her on their road trip together when
- 17:37Speaker 3: they were living the van life. And what happened was,
- 17:41Speaker 3: There was cameras of a cop, a body cam of
- 17:45Speaker 3: when he pulled them over and they were having a
- 17:49Speaker 3: domestic dispute. In that, she admits, I hit him. I
- 17:55Speaker 3: hit my boyfriend. And then the officer said, okay, you
- 18:00Speaker 3: guys go separate. He's going to take the van. You're
- 18:03Speaker 3: going to go to a hotel, maybe call family and
- 18:07Speaker 3: friend or whatever, like just be separated that night. Now,
- 18:10Speaker 3: what is happening is the family is now suing the
- 18:12Speaker 3: police department because they're saying, why didn't you arrest her
- 18:16Speaker 3: for domestic violence? Had you arrested her for domestic violence,
- 18:19Speaker 3: she might be alive today. And also, why didn't you
- 18:26Speaker 3: notice that she actually had a mark on her face?
- 18:28Speaker 3: Because once she went to, or somewhere around this time,
- 18:32Speaker 3: she'd taken a selfie in which she clearly had a
- 18:36Speaker 3: wound around her eye that looks very much like one
- 18:38Speaker 3: that would be a cause from someone hitting her. And
- 18:42Speaker 3: so they are using this all in their case to
- 18:45Speaker 3: sue the police department that was the policeman who pulled
- 18:50Speaker 3: them over and didn't. But the argument to their defense,
- 18:53Speaker 3: I'm sure the police department's defense was, okay, well, he
- 18:57Speaker 3: didn't take her to jail, but he did separate them.
- 18:59Speaker 3: And once she was alone in a hotel room, why
- 19:02Speaker 3: didn't she call you guys, her parents? Why didn't she
- 19:04Speaker 3: try to get help? So it'll be very interesting how
- 19:08Speaker 3: this whole thing comes out, but it's very tragic, obviously.
- 19:12Speaker 3: And now straight from one of the latest episodes of
- 19:15Speaker 3: American Greed, here is my very juicy interview.
- 19:19Speaker 5: Christmas shopping has already started in our house. My daughter
- 19:22Speaker 5: is so organised, already planning Christmas gifts from Macaulay. Hair
- 19:26Speaker 5: care for her aunt and a fab fragrance for her bestie.
- 19:29Speaker 5: But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm
- 19:31Speaker 5: an early bird, buying one present a week from now
- 19:34Speaker 5: till Christmas, which makes budgeting less stressful. I can buy
- 19:37Speaker 5: in-store or online from Macaulay.ie for home delivery or free
- 19:41Speaker 5: click and collect.
- 19:42Speaker 1: So easy.
- 19:43Speaker 5: Gifts they'll cherish at prices you'll love.
- 19:48Speaker 1: I'm Darman.
- 19:49Speaker 2: And this is What Happens Next. Each week on the show,
- 19:52Speaker 2: I sit down with extraordinary people who have faced tremendous setbacks,
- 19:57Speaker 2: and yet somehow have found a way to turn them
- 20:00Speaker 2: into their greatest strengths.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Life is one long lesson of chaos. I'm heading to
- 20:05Speaker 1: the Emmys, and I have police complaints filed against me.
- 20:08Speaker 1: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 20:11Speaker 1: what would you do if it was given back?
- 20:13Speaker 6: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 20:16Speaker 6: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 20:18Speaker 1: He said, I have a work dad.
- 20:19Speaker 2: I need a home dad.
- 20:20Speaker 6: What happens next?
- 20:22Speaker 1: When I came in, he started crying.
- 20:23Speaker 6: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 20:28Speaker 6: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 20:30Speaker 6: happens next.
- 20:32Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 20:34Speaker 1: every day was. You're worth the work. Listen, Dara, I'm
- 20:37Speaker 1: not going to pull punches. You can use your voice
- 20:39Speaker 1: even if it's shaped.
- 20:40Speaker 2: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 20:54Speaker 3: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. Well, I have a
- 20:57Speaker 3: juicy one for you. I am with Jamana Kidd, who
- 21:02Speaker 3: I was lucky enough to have American Greed, which I
- 21:04Speaker 3: love that show, sent me a screener of your episode,
- 21:08Speaker 3: which now is available.
- 21:11Speaker 1: And it's just an.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Awful but juicy, amazing story of how you, a mom,
- 21:20Speaker 3: at the time a divorced mom, you come from... famous
- 21:25Speaker 3: background as far as your ex-husband.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Who's your ex-husband?
- 21:28Speaker 3: Let's talk about him a little bit. Do we have to? No,
- 21:31Speaker 3: just that like, you know, I think you might have
- 21:34Speaker 3: been a target just being that you're like wealthy and
- 21:37Speaker 3: giving and naive.
- 21:39Speaker 1: She did her homework. Yeah.
- 21:41Speaker 3: So he was on what team? Jason Kidd?
- 21:43Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a a NBA player. He's been around forever.
- 21:48Speaker 1: He's been on several teams. When we were married, he
- 21:51Speaker 1: was with the New Jersey Nets. So we lived out
- 21:54Speaker 1: there for a long time.
- 21:55Speaker 3: So you lived out there and you have three kids
- 21:57Speaker 3: and you had a stepson too that you were helping,
- 21:59Speaker 3: you know, being part of his life. And so what
- 22:01Speaker 3: year did you come out and settle in Calabasas when
- 22:05Speaker 3: you then made contact with this con woman?
- 22:08Speaker 6: Right.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Well, okay, so the irony is that I was living
- 22:12Speaker 1: in New Jersey and I always wanted to move back
- 22:14Speaker 1: to California because that's where I'm from. I ended up
- 22:18Speaker 1: deciding to move, but I did have to start all
- 22:22Speaker 1: my treatment here, start with my doctors and the whole thing.
- 22:25Speaker 1: So I thought, okay, even though I'm from California, I'm
- 22:29Speaker 1: from Northern California, so LA was going to be brand
- 22:32Speaker 1: new and people are brand new, schools, everything is brand new.
- 22:35Speaker 1: So I figured I need to find someone To sort
- 22:38Speaker 1: of help, you know, the kids don't have driver's license yet.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I don't even know my, you know, just to get
- 22:44Speaker 1: my bearings. Yeah. And just kind of have some help
- 22:47Speaker 1: while I'm here, at least just to start off. And
- 22:51Speaker 1: I spoke to a friend who is like well, well connected.
- 22:55Speaker 1: And she recommended someone. At first she was like, I
- 22:59Speaker 1: don't know, let me think. And then she called back.
- 23:00Speaker 1: And to her defense, she said, you know, I know
- 23:03Speaker 1: this lady. We used to work with her when she
- 23:05Speaker 1: worked at this big accounting firm. we used to always
- 23:08Speaker 1: hire her anytime we had like celebrities who needed VIP. Like,
- 23:12Speaker 1: you know, she would, you know, get a charter or
- 23:15Speaker 1: a helicopter or whatever. And I'm like, well, I don't
- 23:18Speaker 1: need that. She's like, yeah, but she was just, she
- 23:19Speaker 1: was such a boss. And I just remember her getting
- 23:22Speaker 1: everything done and she may even know someone. So I said, okay,
- 23:25Speaker 1: you know, no, no, like, you know, harm in trying
- 23:28Speaker 1: to speak to her.
- 23:29Speaker 3: I think that's interesting. Cause like, I definitely could see
- 23:32Speaker 3: why someone in your position, this would be like perfect.
- 23:35Speaker 1: She's connected to everything.
- 23:36Speaker 3: And also getting your kids into school is like hard
- 23:39Speaker 3: and where's the doctor and finding the house and you're
- 23:42Speaker 3: a single mom and you're going through this treatment. So
- 23:45Speaker 3: you're almost like, can I just have like an assistant,
- 23:47Speaker 3: like mom helper? Like I, or, you know, more like
- 23:50Speaker 3: you just needed a wife.
- 23:51Speaker 4: Right.
- 23:52Speaker 1: You just actually need a wife. A hundred percent.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 23:55Speaker 1: And, and yeah, and I think that that was the,
- 23:57Speaker 1: you know, dangling carrot because And again, the funny thing
- 24:01Speaker 1: is I remember sort of thinking, well, she just may
- 24:03Speaker 1: even know someone. You know, this lady may be like–
- 24:06Speaker 1: I definitely don't want to, you know.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Do this.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Do it, but I know somebody. But, yeah. So we
- 24:13Speaker 1: held a meeting with her, and my friend even went
- 24:15Speaker 1: because she'd never met her in person. She'd only just
- 24:16Speaker 1: hired her over the phone and, you know.
- 24:18Speaker 3: And this is Tracy.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Yes.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Her name is Tracy. Okay.
- 24:21Speaker 3: So Tracy comes to the meeting the first week.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Yeah. So we meet with Tracy, my friend and I
- 24:26Speaker 1: and Tracy, and– You know, we'd talk everything from– Yeah.
- 24:30Speaker 1: How old was she?
- 24:31Speaker 3: Because when I was watching it– Yeah.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I was like– She's like three different people.
- 24:35Speaker 6: Right.
- 24:36Speaker 1: And she had like massive plastic surgery.
- 24:37Speaker 3: So I'm like, is she– like were you guys similar age?
- 24:41Speaker 1: Was she younger? I thought she was actually younger. I
- 24:43Speaker 1: think she told me she was like a year younger
- 24:45Speaker 1: than I was. Okay. So I was– gosh, what would
- 24:47Speaker 1: I have been if I'm 50 now? That was like
- 24:51Speaker 1: seven years ago. Okay. So, yeah. And I just remember
- 24:54Speaker 1: thinking like she was like either half a year or
- 24:56Speaker 1: a year younger. Okay. But– And she, you know who
- 25:00Speaker 1: she reminded me of? And it's so corny, but she
- 25:02Speaker 1: just reminded me of, what's the lady from Desperate Housewives?
- 25:08Speaker 1: Terry Hatcher? No. Oh yeah. Terry Hatcher. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.
- 25:12Speaker 1: She was just like this cute, quirky brunette, just super like,
- 25:17Speaker 1: I don't know, just, she was like the mom from
- 25:20Speaker 1: Gilmore Girls. I don't know. She was just very, you know,
- 25:23Speaker 1: kind and nice and educated, spoke Mandarin, spoke French, had
- 25:28Speaker 1: worked in Japan for a while, you know, worked in TV,
- 25:30Speaker 1: but it wasn't for her, but was mostly behind the scenes.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Like everything she said was like right up my alley. Right.
- 25:36Speaker 1: But again, more of like, well, I'd love to have
- 25:38Speaker 1: her as a contact even if she doesn't take this job. Right.
- 25:41Speaker 1: But she was really, she was interested in it. And her,
- 25:44Speaker 1: you know, her conversation was really telling me how, you know,
- 25:48Speaker 1: I just connect with you and it's hard to meet kind,
- 25:50Speaker 1: good people out here. And You just seem so down
- 25:53Speaker 1: to earth and nice. And we have similar backgrounds. You know,
- 25:56Speaker 1: I had a horrible divorce. And, you know, my ex-husband
- 26:00Speaker 1: was abusive. And, you know, I mean, it was just crazy.
- 26:04Speaker 3: It's amazing, like, these people. Because the reason I'm attracted
- 26:07Speaker 3: to your story, too, is I am really fascinated by
- 26:11Speaker 3: con people. But specifically, lately, con women. And the similarities
- 26:15Speaker 3: that the different con women stories that I have, like,
- 26:19Speaker 3: studied are And that, you know, almost chameleon-like, really knowing
- 26:24Speaker 3: how to, like, touch base and just be that girlfriend.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:29Speaker 3: To make you relax. And, like, it's just fascinating.
- 26:32Speaker 1: And I'm going to say, like, it wasn't easy in
- 26:34Speaker 1: the beginning. But hindsight is so 20-20, of course. And
- 26:38Speaker 1: when I look back, I look at all of the
- 26:39Speaker 1: feelers she put out. When at the time, I didn't
- 26:43Speaker 1: look at them as feelers. Like, you know, oh, I've got,
- 26:46Speaker 1: you know, great tickets to Laker game. Come with me.
- 26:49Speaker 1: And then I'm, on my end, I'm like, oh, I've
- 26:51Speaker 1: said no to the last things she's invited me for. Like,
- 26:53Speaker 1: let me go ahead and do this. And we go
- 26:55Speaker 1: to this Laker game. And the last thing I want
- 26:56Speaker 1: to do is go to another basketball game.
- 26:58Speaker 3: I've been to enough in my life.
- 26:59Speaker 1: And that's not a big, like, coup for you. Yeah.
- 27:01Speaker 1: You know, and, but I was, like, appreciative. But I
- 27:03Speaker 1: think she got the vibe that, like, it wasn't this
- 27:07Speaker 1: great event for, you know what I mean? Right. You know,
- 27:08Speaker 1: we just, I went, you know, I went. And so
- 27:11Speaker 1: I could tell now looking back that she was like, okay,
- 27:13Speaker 1: that's not it. Okay, that's not, you know, and then. Yeah.
- 27:16Speaker 1: And then she had, you know, a fleet of like
- 27:18Speaker 1: a Bentley and this and that. She had cars like that?
- 27:21Speaker 1: Because of her concierge service.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Oh, she had her own company of a concierge service.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Yeah. Right. And so she would always say, like, if
- 27:28Speaker 1: my car's in the shop, she's like, don't get a rental. Like,
- 27:30Speaker 1: just take the Bentley. And I'm like, I am not
- 27:32Speaker 1: driving around. No thanks. Yeah. One, I'd be too afraid
- 27:37Speaker 1: to do something to it. Two, I just don't want
- 27:39Speaker 1: to because it's a lot. And so then she'd be like, okay,
- 27:41Speaker 1: that's not it. You know, so she just kind of
- 27:44Speaker 1: kept testing what is it. And it was my kids.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Oh, it was your kids.
- 27:48Speaker 1: It was my kids, you know.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Her connecting with the kids.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Or just, yeah, not even just simply connecting, but kind
- 27:53Speaker 1: of like, you know, if I was worried about something,
- 27:56Speaker 1: like being there, like, okay, well, you know, there's this great,
- 27:59Speaker 1: you know, counselor who deals with that, or there's this great,
- 28:01Speaker 1: you know, like.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Or find a tutor or whatever.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Yeah, whatever it was. It was mom stuff. And that's
- 28:08Speaker 1: when I think that she kind of like got my attention.
- 28:11Speaker 1: And so.
- 28:12Speaker 3: You decide to hire her and she says, you don't
- 28:17Speaker 3: have to pay me as an assistant. You can just
- 28:20Speaker 3: pay through the company.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Well, because I wasn't sure. Okay. Because she was so overqualified.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Yes.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I did kind of think, you know, listen, I don't
- 28:29Speaker 1: know how long I'm going to use you even because
- 28:32Speaker 1: let's say radiation's over. I'm fine. By then my kids
- 28:35Speaker 1: are driving, you know. I might not need, you know,
- 28:39Speaker 1: an assistant. That would help, yeah. A big reason I
- 28:41Speaker 1: needed an assistant too is so my ex-husband has an
- 28:43Speaker 1: assistant and she deals with everything kids. And so I
- 28:48Speaker 1: always kind of felt like it was great to have
- 28:50Speaker 1: someone to do that. I mean, if I'm not dealing
- 28:51Speaker 1: with him directly, I don't want to deal with his
- 28:53Speaker 1: assistant and have someone deal with her too, you know? Right, okay.
- 28:55Speaker 1: So that was always really nice to have, like, you know,
- 28:58Speaker 1: someone there to just, a liaison to work with his assistant.
- 29:01Speaker 1: And I kind of figured, you know, they're getting older
- 29:03Speaker 1: where I'm not going to need that. There, you know,
- 29:05Speaker 1: there's a lot of things. So this, I don't know
- 29:07Speaker 1: how long I'll have, you know, need you. And so
- 29:11Speaker 1: that was her pitch was, listen, I have my company,
- 29:14Speaker 1: Elite Lux Life. Why don't you just hire me through that?
- 29:17Speaker 1: You know, we're a concierge service. This is just one
- 29:19Speaker 1: more service. And so how much did you initially start
- 29:22Speaker 1: to pay her? I want to say it was like $ 1, 500.
- 29:25Speaker 1: $ 400 or $ 1, 300 a month.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Very inexpensive.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Extremely inexpensive. It was part-time and it wasn't a job
- 29:33Speaker 1: where she came to my home. It was like every day.
- 29:36Speaker 1: It was like, you know, this is my schedule. This
- 29:38Speaker 1: is what I need help with. And, you know, she was,
- 29:42Speaker 1: if it wasn't her, she would have her daughter. And
- 29:44Speaker 1: I was fine with that. How old was the daughter?
- 29:46Speaker 1: Her daughter was 21. I want to say 20 or 21.
- 29:48Speaker 1: And then I even thought to myself, oh, I see.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Maybe she's just trying to, like, make an opportunity for
- 29:53Speaker 1: her daughter. Because this is more her daughter's alley. You
- 29:56Speaker 1: know what I mean? Like, being young and. You know,
- 29:58Speaker 1: because it's like it is like a glorified nanny.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:01Speaker 1: And like house manager ish. So I kind of did think, OK,
- 30:06Speaker 1: this is a good mom. Like what she's doing is
- 30:07Speaker 1: she's taking this job, but she's kind of slowly, you know,
- 30:11Speaker 1: letting her daughter do a big part of it. And,
- 30:15Speaker 1: you know, I would hire her daughter eventually. And then
- 30:18Speaker 1: everything would make sense. The salary, the hours that, you know.
- 30:21Speaker 1: But so the reason we went through the company was
- 30:23Speaker 1: that way, if after six months, if after a year
- 30:26Speaker 1: I was, you know, done with needing that assistance, we
- 30:30Speaker 1: could just terminate it and I just don't get an
- 30:32Speaker 1: invoice from the company anymore. And it's really funny because, again, hindsight,
- 30:38Speaker 1: I remember her pitching that idea and then I was thinking,
- 30:41Speaker 1: I don't know, I think that, I know my financial
- 30:45Speaker 1: team is going to be really like, because they're very
- 30:48Speaker 1: straight-laced and, you know.
- 30:49Speaker 3: So you have like a money manager that kind of,
- 30:52Speaker 3: you know, make sure that mortgage is paid or that
- 30:55Speaker 3: you're not overspending or whatever, make sure your taxes are
- 30:59Speaker 3: filed on time.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Right.
- 31:00Speaker 3: So at first they were like, fine with this, I guess.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Well, yeah, that was the thing is that when I,
- 31:05Speaker 1: you know, asked them and I said, you know, hey,
- 31:07Speaker 1: this is what she's saying, they were like, that's fine
- 31:09Speaker 1: because you don't know how long you're going to use her.
- 31:11Speaker 1: So that was it. That was the green light. Like
- 31:13Speaker 1: no one thought that was fishy or, you know, that
- 31:16Speaker 1: we needed to additionally do any, you know, it was
- 31:19Speaker 1: like hiring your gardener or hiring your pool person or how,
- 31:21Speaker 1: you know what I mean? It was like a company.
- 31:23Speaker 3: So how long does it take for when you hire
- 31:25Speaker 3: her to her actually spending time in your house? And
- 31:28Speaker 3: then what was it that I saw on the American
- 31:30Speaker 3: greed that you had like a reality show or you
- 31:33Speaker 3: were a production company was coming to you so that
- 31:36Speaker 3: you have the footage of her and your like home
- 31:39Speaker 3: life being filmed? What was that all about?
- 31:41Speaker 1: Okay. So, um, I want to say again, hindsight and
- 31:45Speaker 1: keep repeating that one. Um, when I looked back, when
- 31:48Speaker 1: I found out that she was a criminal and I
- 31:50Speaker 1: printed out our text conversations from like day one, I
- 31:54Speaker 1: noticed little things, you know, where it was like, oh,
- 31:56Speaker 1: I'm at Cadillac trying to drop your car for service.
- 31:59Speaker 1: And they're asking for like your mom's maiden name. It's
- 32:01Speaker 1: so random. I don't know what you signed, you know?
- 32:03Speaker 1: And I'm like, that's weird. Yeah.
- 32:06Speaker 3: So when I, but at the time you'd be like, yeah, totally.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Or like, you know, you just never know. You sign
- 32:11Speaker 1: up for things online and they give you these like
- 32:13Speaker 1: security questions and And again, I'm not thinking like this
- 32:16Speaker 1: person is. Yes. So I look back through our tests
- 32:18Speaker 1: and there's a lot of those in there. As far
- 32:22Speaker 1: as like the actual stealing, stealing, I think that I
- 32:24Speaker 1: want to say it was like 2016 is when she
- 32:27Speaker 1: started opening actual like credit cards and bank accounts.
- 32:29Speaker 3: So how many months after your initial meeting did that
- 32:32Speaker 3: deception start?
- 32:33Speaker 1: Oh, I'd say a year. Okay. A year for that
- 32:36Speaker 1: bold level of deception. Okay.
- 32:37Speaker 3: And what was the thing– what was the footage that
- 32:39Speaker 3: I was seeing of.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Your home life? Okay. So her and her husband. So
- 32:42Speaker 1: she– actually, right when she started working for me, she
- 32:46Speaker 1: had just met him and, you know, they were dating
- 32:48Speaker 1: and then that kind of, you know, just flourished and
- 32:52Speaker 1: then they decided to get married. She ended, I think
- 32:58Speaker 1: like she brought him into the concierge business. I don't
- 33:00Speaker 1: know how that all worked out, but then they kind
- 33:02Speaker 1: of really started to build this concierge service. In their
- 33:05Speaker 1: concierge service, they would rent things out. And the joke
- 33:09Speaker 1: between them was we rent anything like our home that
- 33:12Speaker 1: we're living in if someone needs it we'll rent it
- 33:14Speaker 1: out and we become homeless because we just rented our
- 33:17Speaker 1: home out so that's where they got this idea for
- 33:19Speaker 1: homeless millionaires and so they started this idea for a
- 33:24Speaker 1: show idea for a show And I would be lying
- 33:27Speaker 1: if I were to say I ever watched it because
- 33:29Speaker 1: it just, you know, wasn't.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Interesting to me. It was just a YouTube show.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Yeah. And I just, I'm not into your items and
- 33:35Speaker 1: what you have and your clients. And again. So I
- 33:38Speaker 1: never watched it. But again, if I did, I think
- 33:40Speaker 1: maybe I would have seen some red flags.
- 33:43Speaker 3: But what's crazy is obviously they were doing it on
- 33:45Speaker 3: the YouTube to hope that it gets popular or maybe
- 33:47Speaker 3: someone bigger pick it up. And I think that's a
- 33:49Speaker 3: big thing about when, I don't know if you follow Housewives,
- 33:53Speaker 3: but Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, they have a criminal.
- 33:55Speaker 3: She's doing nine years. Yeah, I heard about it.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Jen Shah. And the biggest thing.
- 33:59Speaker 3: That people that watch the show and are fans of
- 34:01Speaker 3: the show, it's like why when you, and her fraud
- 34:04Speaker 3: had been going on for at least seven years before
- 34:07Speaker 3: she agreed to go on the show. So why would
- 34:10Speaker 3: you go on, not only, it's one, you know, the
- 34:12Speaker 3: biggest type of reality show you can go on is Housewives.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Oh, she wanted to be on anything.
- 34:17Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's very interesting that this same con woman
- 34:21Speaker 3: would choose to try to be famous when you're obviously
- 34:25Speaker 3: not doing things on the up and up.
- 34:28Speaker 1: So it was her show that you were just a
- 34:30Speaker 1: little bit apart. Yeah, no, it wasn't even a little
- 34:33Speaker 1: bit apart. One day they were like, hey, we're going
- 34:36Speaker 1: to stop by your house to do whatever, drop off
- 34:39Speaker 1: something or pick up something. And is it okay if
- 34:42Speaker 1: we just like tape a little bit for our show?
- 34:43Speaker 1: And I was like, yeah, sure. And it's not like
- 34:45Speaker 1: they had a camera crew. It's not like there was
- 34:46Speaker 1: like a sound guy, you know. It was her husband
- 34:49Speaker 1: holding like, you know, what looked like a selfie stick. And,
- 34:53Speaker 1: you know, so they just kind of taped a little bit.
- 34:55Speaker 1: And I never even watched the episode until all of
- 34:57Speaker 1: this came out. And, you know, like that's how little
- 35:00Speaker 1: I was interested in that aspect of their life. Okay.
- 35:05Speaker 3: So then when– okay, there were a couple things that
- 35:08Speaker 3: were interesting from the show too.
- 35:09Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 35:10Speaker 3: So when do you, then they get engaged and she
- 35:14Speaker 3: invites you to her bachelorette party. Tell me, tell us
- 35:17Speaker 3: about that.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Yeah. So she invites me to the bachelorette party. And again,
- 35:20Speaker 1: I think something that I struggled with all the time
- 35:23Speaker 1: was never, you know, accepting a lot of her invitations.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Because I was, again, we had very different lifestyles. And
- 35:31Speaker 1: her excuse was always, I'll have to do this because
- 35:33Speaker 1: of our image, because of the, you know, concierge. But
- 35:37Speaker 1: that's not my thing. Like, you know what I mean? Like,
- 35:38Speaker 1: I don't want to go to this. Grammy party or to,
- 35:41Speaker 1: you know, I mean, unless I'm up for one or,
- 35:43Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like, I'm just not that person.
- 35:46Speaker 1: So when she invited me to this, I thought, okay,
- 35:50Speaker 1: just maybe, you know, go for a day. Just be kind.
- 35:53Speaker 1: This is, she's getting married. It's a big deal. And,
- 35:56Speaker 1: you know, I need to get out, you know, be nice.
- 35:58Speaker 3: Now, did you vibe with her as like when she
- 36:01Speaker 3: was doing stuff for you at your house or whatever,
- 36:03Speaker 3: hanging out? Did you vibe with her like you really
- 36:05Speaker 3: enjoyed her? Or did you feel like, I want to
- 36:08Speaker 3: go because I am her boss and because I am
- 36:10Speaker 3: in a different socioeconomic situation.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:15Speaker 3: I don't want to blow her off. So that's why
- 36:17Speaker 3: I feel like I should go.
- 36:18Speaker 1: The funny thing is I never looked at myself as
- 36:20Speaker 1: a different socioeconomic because the way they lived. Oh, okay.
- 36:25Speaker 1: If anything, they made fun of me. Like they had
- 36:27Speaker 1: an intervention with me because I had a Range Rover
- 36:29Speaker 1: from 2007. And they were like, your kids have newer cars.
- 36:33Speaker 1: I'm like, I love my car.
- 36:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:35Speaker 1: And she actually one time had– it was like BMW, Mercedes,
- 36:42Speaker 1: like every– you name it. Yeah. Bentley, everyone, she got
- 36:47Speaker 1: a broker to get like a car from each one
- 36:50Speaker 1: of them and that she had them at my house.
- 36:52Speaker 1: And I remember coming home from the gym and I
- 36:54Speaker 1: was like mortified. I was so embarrassed because it was
- 36:56Speaker 1: like all these fancy cars and the salesperson. She was like,
- 36:59Speaker 1: you need to do these test drives and pick a car.
- 37:02Speaker 1: But again, I'm like, oh my gosh, there's access to everything.
- 37:04Speaker 1: This girl is like hilarious. And I wanted a Tesla.
- 37:08Speaker 1: And she was just like, Teslas are so lame, you know, whatever.
- 37:10Speaker 1: And I test drove each one of those cars. I
- 37:14Speaker 1: Loved all of them, whatever. And I ended up getting
- 37:16Speaker 1: a Tesla. Okay. So she invites you to this– Vegas. Vegas.
- 37:22Speaker 3: And when I saw the photos of the girls and stuff,
- 37:25Speaker 3: I was– I'm sorry. I didn't think it was your vibe.
- 37:28Speaker 1: I didn't think it was mine.
- 37:29Speaker 2: No.
- 37:29Speaker 1: I certainly wouldn't want to.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Go to a bachelorette party at this age, but certainly
- 37:34Speaker 3: not unless it was, like, my really, really good friends.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:36Speaker 3: Because it's just not my vibe, like, at all. But
- 37:39Speaker 3: you did the Christian thing. You did your Christian service.
- 37:42Speaker 3: You went– Now, who were these girls, though? Like, were
- 37:46Speaker 3: they old friends, new friends?
- 37:47Speaker 1: That's what was so funny is that, you know, one
- 37:51Speaker 1: of them, she was like, oh, this is just like
- 37:52Speaker 1: an old friend from forever ago, like childhood. And then
- 37:56Speaker 1: another one was, you know, it was one that she
- 37:59Speaker 1: is through Daryl, her husband. She's being polite. You know,
- 38:03Speaker 1: like she had like a little story for everyone. But
- 38:05Speaker 1: I will be really honest with you, too. Her daughter
- 38:07Speaker 1: was really sweet. And, you know, fun and cute. And
- 38:10Speaker 1: I remember that was my, like, you know, Elle will
- 38:12Speaker 1: be there. Like, I'll just probably hang out with Elle. Yeah,
- 38:15Speaker 1: the dog. So, yeah. So that was kind of my safety.
- 38:17Speaker 1: And that's probably who I was probably around the most
- 38:20Speaker 1: was Elle because she's just, like, so normal.
- 38:23Speaker 3: So what does the weekend entail?
- 38:25Speaker 1: So the weekend we get to this suite and everybody's got, like,
- 38:28Speaker 1: bedrooms and stuff in there. You know, I could tell
- 38:31Speaker 1: Tracy's like, wait, where? And I'm like, I'm here for, like,
- 38:33Speaker 1: one night. Like, the couch is calling my name. Don't even,
- 38:36Speaker 1: you know, I don't. I don't want to be in
- 38:37Speaker 1: the way. I don't, you know, in and out. Yeah. So, yeah.
- 38:42Speaker 1: So I'm trying to remember. The first night I think
- 38:47Speaker 1: we all went to– or not the first night. When
- 38:50Speaker 1: we first got there, we went to like some place
- 38:54Speaker 1: and just like had lunch. And then we went to
- 38:55Speaker 1: like a pool party and hung out at the pool
- 38:57Speaker 1: all day.
- 38:58Speaker 3: What hotel were you at?
- 38:58Speaker 1: It was Caesar's Palace. And it was kind of like the,
- 39:01Speaker 1: you know, like club pool day pool party type thing.
- 39:04Speaker 1: That's where they gave everybody like the matching bathing suits. Yeah.
- 39:09Speaker 1: And then that night they wanted to go out. And
- 39:12Speaker 1: I had a couple friends that were in town because
- 39:15Speaker 1: I want to say, I don't remember who it was,
- 39:17Speaker 1: but they were having like a celebrity golf tournament. I
- 39:20Speaker 1: want to say it was like Marcus Allen or someone
- 39:21Speaker 1: was having like a celebrity golf tournament in town. So
- 39:24Speaker 1: a lot of my friends were there. So I called them.
- 39:25Speaker 1: They're like, oh, we're at Topgolf. So I was like,
- 39:28Speaker 1: you guys, if we want, we can just stop by. Topgolf.
- 39:31Speaker 1: And so we did that. So we went to Topgolf.
- 39:33Speaker 1: So you bring the whole crew? The whole crew. Just
- 39:35Speaker 1: so I can kind of at least see some people
- 39:37Speaker 1: that I know. It's a little safety. And yeah, and
- 39:40Speaker 1: then we just kind of hung out there for a while. And,
- 39:42Speaker 1: you know, I got to see some of my actual
- 39:44Speaker 1: friends that I knew.
- 39:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:47Speaker 1: And then that was it. I left the next morning.
- 39:49Speaker 1: We got up and I was like, I noticed that
- 39:51Speaker 1: nobody was really paying for her. You know what I mean?
- 39:54Speaker 1: That she was like the one paying here and paying there.
- 39:57Speaker 1: So I was like, it's her, you know, her party.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Like what a bum group of friends, you know?
- 40:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:02Speaker 1: So I was like, you know, let me just take
- 40:03Speaker 1: you guys out to breakfast before I leave. And we
- 40:06Speaker 1: were just downstairs. We had breakfast.
- 40:07Speaker 3: So did you do a nightclub thing with them that night?
- 40:10Speaker 3: Like bottle service and stuff?
- 40:11Speaker 1: No, no, no. The only thing was Topgolf. And I
- 40:14Speaker 1: think I went back to the room.
- 40:15Speaker 3: And they did that.
- 40:16Speaker 1: I think so, yeah.
- 40:17Speaker 3: I'm such a loser. But you're thinking because they have
- 40:21Speaker 3: this successful business that even if she picked up the
- 40:24Speaker 3: whole thing, who cares? Yeah.
- 40:26Speaker 1: No, listen. I always looked at her as like she
- 40:28Speaker 1: lived in this amazing building. It's called the 10,000. Yeah,
- 40:31Speaker 1: I know that. She told me that, oh, my gosh,
- 40:36Speaker 1: how lucky are we? We got a deal with the 10,000.
- 40:39Speaker 1: They gave us like, of course, it's not like the
- 40:40Speaker 1: greatest apartment, but we have one of their apartments and
- 40:43Speaker 1: we just have to help them with concierge. And then
- 40:46Speaker 1: like they let us park, you know, our cars out front.
- 40:49Speaker 1: And it was just like all this. And again, like
- 40:51Speaker 1: these kind of things are not my thing. So I'm
- 40:53Speaker 1: always like, oh, well, that's awesome. That's great for you,
- 40:55Speaker 1: you know. And I remember my son was going to
- 40:58Speaker 1: school out in that area. And he had like time
- 41:01Speaker 1: to kill in between that and like basketball practice or whatever.
- 41:04Speaker 1: And I'd say, you know, you go hang out at 10,000,
- 41:07Speaker 1: but don't overdo it. Just go like once in a
- 41:09Speaker 1: while because it's like a nice building. You just go
- 41:11Speaker 1: hang out there. But I ended up seeing that on
- 41:14Speaker 1: my calendar. you know, ledger once I like, you know,
- 41:16Speaker 1: dove in.
- 41:16Speaker 3: Okay. So let's get into that.
- 41:18Speaker 1: I'm telling my kids, be mindful. Don't overdo it.
- 41:21Speaker 3: Well, now let's get into the whole deception of when
- 41:25Speaker 3: you first are made aware what's going on. So let's
- 41:28Speaker 3: tell that story.
- 41:29Speaker 1: So, yeah, well, I mean, for about a year or
- 41:32Speaker 1: two years, my financial advisor, who, by the way, it's
- 41:35Speaker 1: so funny because it's not the guy that's in the
- 41:37Speaker 1: American Greed thing. You know, Morgan Stanley really doesn't want
- 41:40Speaker 1: him out there talking and being in the front line.
- 41:42Speaker 1: So they kind of just did like a double for that.
- 41:45Speaker 1: But he's also a really good friend. I've been using
- 41:49Speaker 1: his services, gosh, for like almost 15 years. He's been amazing,
- 41:53Speaker 1: a lifesaver. So I really, really do trust him. And
- 41:57Speaker 1: he would just kind of call me or text me
- 41:58Speaker 1: every once in a while, like, you need to slow down.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Your outgo is crazy. And I'm like, nothing. I mean,
- 42:05Speaker 1: this is hilarious. I went to the point of I
- 42:08Speaker 1: have someone who helps with dog walking when we're out
- 42:12Speaker 1: of town. I cut dog walking.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Because you didn't understand where he was coming from.
- 42:17Speaker 1: And I just kept cutting and cutting and cutting. And
- 42:18Speaker 1: poor Teddy is now not even getting her walks when
- 42:21Speaker 1: we're gone. And I'm yelling at my kids. I'm just
- 42:25Speaker 1: kind of like, it's you. I know you need to
- 42:27Speaker 1: slow down. Is it necessary to do this? It adds up.
- 42:31Speaker 1: I'm just trying to figure it out. And it just
- 42:33Speaker 1: kept on. Nothing was changing. The numbers weren't changing. Finally,
- 42:38Speaker 1: I think in one of his texts where he said,
- 42:41Speaker 1: and since when do you open like credit cards? That's
- 42:44Speaker 1: so not you. Because I am. I'm like one credit card. Right. Yeah.
- 42:48Speaker 1: And I'm like, I don't. And then he was like,
- 42:50Speaker 1: there's a Chase card that's showing up in the, you know.
- 42:53Speaker 1: So I was talking to Tracy and never in a
- 42:56Speaker 1: million years was I accusing her. You know, I was
- 42:59Speaker 1: just like, there's a Chase card. Like, what is that?
- 43:02Speaker 1: Did we ever, like, did I? Because, you know, she
- 43:04Speaker 1: was someone I would bounce things off of. Right. And
- 43:08Speaker 1: I know my son was starting college. And I remember
- 43:11Speaker 1: her and I talking about how difficult it is to
- 43:13Speaker 1: work with 529. So sometimes maybe we open a card
- 43:18Speaker 1: in the future that we bill everything so all his
- 43:20Speaker 1: stuff stays on that. And then we have 529 reimbursed. Like,
- 43:23Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, yeah. So she was like, you know,
- 43:25Speaker 1: do you think that? And I'm like, but we never
- 43:27Speaker 1: did it yet, did we? You know? And she was
- 43:29Speaker 1: just like, you know what? You know, hang up the phone.
- 43:33Speaker 1: And 20 minutes later, she's at my door. And- She's just, like,
- 43:38Speaker 1: walked in, like, I have to talk to you. I'm, like, dying.
- 43:41Speaker 1: And she's, like, crying. Like, I was so taken aback
- 43:45Speaker 1: by her emotion that I didn't even have an opportunity to, like,
- 43:51Speaker 1: get angry or to be, like, you know, focus on
- 43:54Speaker 1: the deception. I was just, like, all over the place.
- 43:57Speaker 1: And I'm, like, finding myself, like, calm down. You're fine. Listen,
- 44:00Speaker 1: we're going to get past this.
- 44:01Speaker 3: So what does she say?
- 44:02Speaker 1: So she says that, you know, one day you're out
- 44:04Speaker 1: of town. I'm getting your mail, you know, to bring
- 44:06Speaker 1: it into the house. There was a letter from Chase.
- 44:08Speaker 1: It was like a new card, approved card. And so
- 44:13Speaker 1: I was like in a bind at that moment. And
- 44:15Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, my gosh, I could use this and
- 44:17Speaker 1: then I'll pay it back. And then you know how
- 44:19Speaker 1: that like then one thing led to the next. And
- 44:21Speaker 1: then she really blamed it on her husband, meaning that
- 44:25Speaker 1: that is one thing. She talked to me a lot
- 44:27Speaker 1: about her marriage and like, you know. Did you go
- 44:28Speaker 1: to the wedding? The reception. Oh, but she did have
- 44:32Speaker 1: a wedding. She did have a thing. She did have
- 44:34Speaker 1: a wedding.
- 44:34Speaker 3: Was it big or small? Um, did you pay for
- 44:38Speaker 3: that too?
- 44:38Speaker 1: Oh, I paid for everything. Honeymoon, you name it. Like
- 44:40Speaker 1: once we dove in. Okay. So wait, go back to this.
- 44:43Speaker 3: Okay. So she's crying about that.
- 44:44Speaker 1: So she's crying about that. It's telling me that like,
- 44:46Speaker 1: I've contemplated taking my life in the past, you know,
- 44:49Speaker 1: year since I opened this card. And, um, one thing,
- 44:53Speaker 1: you know, I keep thinking I'm going to pay it off.
- 44:55Speaker 1: And one thing leads to the next and I'm just
- 44:57Speaker 1: trying to keep Daryl happy. And, you know, he like,
- 45:00Speaker 1: you know, it just ties it all in. And so,
- 45:04Speaker 1: I do know one thing. I do have friends who've
- 45:06Speaker 1: had millions stolen from them and the person gets, you know,
- 45:10Speaker 1: slap on the wrist or whatever. And then you don't
- 45:13Speaker 1: get your money back. You just move on and have
- 45:16Speaker 1: a lesson. So I thought to myself, okay, I know,
- 45:18Speaker 1: I don't think she's a horrible person. I do think
- 45:21Speaker 1: she made a horrible mistake, you know? I know.
- 45:24Speaker 3: Okay.
- 45:24Speaker 1: I know. I know. I live with this. No, it's okay.
- 45:28Speaker 1: It's not. It's not. I've gotten better. But I was like,
- 45:32Speaker 1: you know, um, At least I can maybe get my
- 45:36Speaker 1: money back because if I just turn her in right now,
- 45:38Speaker 1: walk away, I'm out.
- 45:40Speaker 3: And how much is it now?
- 45:41Speaker 1: At that point, I thought it was $ 30, 000. Okay. I
- 45:43Speaker 1: did not know it was $ 300. Okay. Because the card
- 45:46Speaker 1: was broken up into two. She had one in her name,
- 45:48Speaker 1: one in her husband's name. Oh, yeah. We found it
- 45:50Speaker 1: all out later. Okay. But at that point, we had
- 45:53Speaker 1: thought there was a card and we saw $ 30, 000 worth
- 45:56Speaker 1: of charges. Okay. So I'm like, okay. you know, listen,
- 46:01Speaker 1: maybe you work it off. And when I say work
- 46:03Speaker 1: it off, you're not going to work in the realm
- 46:05Speaker 1: that you've had. You know what I mean? I'm like,
- 46:07Speaker 1: I'm changing all my passwords. I'm changing all my credit cards.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I'm changing everything that, you know, she could possibly have
- 46:12Speaker 1: access to, not knowing that she had access to more
- 46:15Speaker 1: than I did, you know, at that time. I didn't
- 46:17Speaker 1: know that. I just thought, you know, okay. change the,
- 46:21Speaker 1: you know, regular stuff. And then I just had her
- 46:23Speaker 1: do like, you know, again, like pick up the car,
- 46:25Speaker 1: take it here or do, you know, like stuff that
- 46:27Speaker 1: wasn't as include, you know, personal. Yeah. And I wasn't
- 46:31Speaker 1: thinking like my social security, I wasn't thinking on that level.
- 46:34Speaker 1: I really was thinking this girl had a car.
- 46:35Speaker 3: So when you tell the man, the, Morgan Stanley got.
- 46:38Speaker 1: I don't tell him at that point.
- 46:39Speaker 3: Because you're scared that he'd get mad at you for
- 46:41Speaker 3: being too nice?
- 46:41Speaker 1: Get mad. He would fight. He, you have to understand
- 46:44Speaker 1: our relationship. Like my kids actually laugh about it. They're like,
- 46:48Speaker 1: you guys married? Like the way you guys argue and
- 46:51Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like, yeah. Like I wasn't,
- 46:54Speaker 1: I took my girls to Paris for their 16th birthday party.
- 46:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:58Speaker 1: And you know, I was posting stuff on social media
- 47:01Speaker 1: and I guess we were like at the Chanel store
- 47:02Speaker 1: and we were here where I get like a text
- 47:04Speaker 1: from him. He's like, Looks like you're having a lot
- 47:06Speaker 1: of fun. Time to go back to the hotel.
- 47:07Speaker 3: And is that because at this time Tracy was stealing
- 47:13Speaker 3: from you?
- 47:14Speaker 1: At that point, no. At that point, he was just
- 47:17Speaker 1: being Ron. He was just like... Good times, yeah, but okay,
- 47:22Speaker 1: you did a lot.
- 47:23Speaker 3: Slow down. Okay.
- 47:24Speaker 1: It's kind of half of it's funny, half of it's,
- 47:26Speaker 1: you know. Serious, yeah. He's a good friend, yeah. So
- 47:29Speaker 1: you don't tell him. I don't tell him because I
- 47:31Speaker 1: know that there is no such thing.
- 47:33Speaker 3: So does he even know that this Tracy lady is
- 47:35Speaker 3: the one that took out the chase card, or do
- 47:37Speaker 3: you even protect her?
- 47:38Speaker 1: I protect her. I protect her. I tell Ron.
- 47:40Speaker 3: So he has no idea that you are continuing to
- 47:42Speaker 3: associate with this woman. who you thought only stole $ 30, 000,
- 47:45Speaker 3: but at the time it was $ 300, 000.
- 47:47Speaker 1: No, I tell Ron, like, okay, I think I figured
- 47:50Speaker 1: it out. We're good, whatever. And he's like, all right,
- 47:52Speaker 1: slow down, whatever. And so then, yeah. And Tracy is,
- 47:57Speaker 1: and I mean, I wasn't sure, did I make the
- 47:58Speaker 1: right decision? This is crazy, but I felt so bad
- 48:00Speaker 1: for her. She's talking about taking her life. Like, I
- 48:02Speaker 1: know she's not a bad person, you know?
- 48:04Speaker 3: Yeah. It's interesting because Jen Shah also told her good
- 48:08Speaker 3: friends that she was suicidal, and therefore they then... protected
- 48:14Speaker 3: her throughout the season of filming and stuff. That's so wild.
- 48:17Speaker 1: Yeah. A lot of similarities. Yeah, a lot of similarities.
- 48:20Speaker 1: But yeah, so then I was kind of like, well,
- 48:23Speaker 1: I bet you she's probably never going to be available now.
- 48:25Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Now that she's working for free, like,
- 48:28Speaker 1: you know what I mean? And paying back. But she
- 48:31Speaker 1: was just on her A game and, you know. So
- 48:33Speaker 1: then again, I'm like, wow, she really feels bad. Oh
- 48:36Speaker 1: my gosh. Okay. Just put a dunce cap on me
- 48:39Speaker 1: right now. It's fine.
- 48:40Speaker 5: No, you know what?
- 48:42Speaker 3: But I always say whether you're being, you know, whether
- 48:45Speaker 3: it's a love con or a love financial thing, I
- 48:48Speaker 3: think the hardest part is people going, why were they
- 48:51Speaker 3: so dumb?
- 48:52Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you.
- 48:52Speaker 3: Believe someone that presented them this way?
- 48:54Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you?
- 48:56Speaker 3: You're a good person, so your thought is that other
- 48:58Speaker 3: people are good people. If you're a bad person, then
- 49:01Speaker 3: you're always looking for the bad people. If you're a cheater,
- 49:04Speaker 3: you're always going to blame your partner for being a cheater.
- 49:07Speaker 3: But when you're not, it's like, why would you think that?
- 49:10Speaker 1: It's so true. We view things by the condition of
- 49:12Speaker 1: our own hearts. So that's it. I just was like.
- 49:17Speaker 3: She's making good.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Yeah, she's making good. And she was really coming in like,
- 49:20Speaker 1: here's $ 5, 000. Oh, we sold this. And it was just
- 49:24Speaker 1: racking up, racking up. One time I needed a rent
- 49:27Speaker 1: a car. And this time I took her up on it.
- 49:28Speaker 1: I took her G wagon. Cause I, it was like,
- 49:30Speaker 1: I was helping her get to the number. You know
- 49:32Speaker 1: what I mean? I'm like, that's like $ 250 a day
- 49:35Speaker 1: or however much it was. I don't know. Cause you
- 49:36Speaker 1: just wanted to kind of be done with it. Yeah.
- 49:38Speaker 1: I wanted to be done with it and get my
- 49:39Speaker 1: money back and then kind of just go our separate ways. Well,
- 49:43Speaker 1: you know, after, you know, months of this, I, um,
- 49:48Speaker 1: I actually, and it's funny cause I, I start speaking
- 49:51Speaker 1: to this lady who she's like this like, life coach slash, like,
- 49:58Speaker 1: she's a therapist, but, like, on a spiritual realm. And,
- 50:02Speaker 1: you know, she's just this amazing lady. And I'd heard
- 50:05Speaker 1: about her. I'd heard about her. Well, my ex-husband came
- 50:08Speaker 1: to the Lakers. And I'm like, oh, my gosh, like,
- 50:11Speaker 1: you know, here we were in the East Coast, you know,
- 50:15Speaker 1: all together. And then he left. So then we finally
- 50:17Speaker 1: came here. And, you know, it's a tough situation for
- 50:20Speaker 1: the kids. So I just need to know how to
- 50:22Speaker 1: handle this. Like, and I want to, you know, really
- 50:24Speaker 1: do it in the right way. I don't want to
- 50:26Speaker 1: do it through emotion or, you know, I had so
- 50:29Speaker 1: much media calling me like, what are your thoughts about
- 50:31Speaker 1: your ex coming here? You know, and I just needed
- 50:33Speaker 1: a little guidance. So I call her and we're talking,
- 50:36Speaker 1: you know, she gets me through all of that. And
- 50:38Speaker 1: then we're about to hang up. And this is the
- 50:39Speaker 1: first time I've ever met this lady. And she says,
- 50:41Speaker 1: is there anything else? And I haven't told a soul,
- 50:44Speaker 1: not even my best friend, not Ron, no one about this.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Because I knew, I knew that whoever I told was
- 50:49Speaker 1: going to say, you're out of your mind. turn her in.
- 50:52Speaker 1: You're too nice.
- 50:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:53Speaker 1: Yeah. So we're about to hang up and she says,
- 50:56Speaker 1: is there anything else? And I said, actually, yeah, you know,
- 50:58Speaker 1: and I told her really quick, I'm like, but it's
- 50:59Speaker 1: no big deal. I just kind of needed to get
- 51:00Speaker 1: that off my chest. And she was like, like literally,
- 51:03Speaker 1: I think she got this close to the camera and
- 51:04Speaker 1: she was like, you need to call Ron tomorrow morning
- 51:07Speaker 1: and tell him. I'm like, no, you don't understand. I
- 51:09Speaker 1: already made a deal with this girl. Like I gave
- 51:11Speaker 1: her my work. Like, what do you mean? Yeah, I know.
- 51:17Speaker 1: And she was just like, I don't know if I
- 51:19Speaker 1: could ever even talk to you again. Like, you have to,
- 51:21Speaker 1: you know. So I was like, okay, okay, hang up
- 51:23Speaker 1: with her. And I remember feeling like, I don't know
- 51:26Speaker 1: this lady. I've only talked to her once. I don't
- 51:27Speaker 1: have to do anything, you know. And then, you know,
- 51:29Speaker 1: did my whole, like, prayed about it, the whole thing.
- 51:31Speaker 1: Woke up the next morning and I was like, hi, Ron,
- 51:34Speaker 1: I have something to tell you. And, of course, it
- 51:37Speaker 1: was like World War III. And Ron, it was hard.
- 51:42Speaker 1: It was really hard. Like, I literally was like, are
- 51:44Speaker 1: you still going to, like, help? Are you still going
- 51:46Speaker 1: to work for me? And he was like, It's like
- 51:48Speaker 1: we are like till death do us part, but still
- 51:50Speaker 1: I am so angry with you. Like, do you realize
- 51:52Speaker 1: how much, you know. So he starts to delve into it.
- 51:55Speaker 1: So he delves into it.
- 51:56Speaker 3: And then he discovers what?
- 51:57Speaker 1: He discovers, no, he just like prints out everything. Because
- 52:01Speaker 1: normally it's like your basics. Like, you know, this, how
- 52:04Speaker 1: much you're spending on this. I'm telling you like stacks
- 52:08Speaker 1: of stuff. So I'm going through it now. And where
- 52:10Speaker 1: she was really, you know, smart. I hate to use
- 52:13Speaker 1: the word for her, but. Is she used a lot
- 52:15Speaker 1: of the same things. So like Blue Cross, you know,
- 52:18Speaker 1: she got, I don't even know how she did it,
- 52:20Speaker 1: but she got on my plan. As herself?
- 52:23Speaker 3: As herself.
- 52:24Speaker 1: Oh. As herself.
- 52:25Speaker 3: I didn't understand if she was actually going as you
- 52:28Speaker 3: because she had dark hair.
- 52:29Speaker 1: No. Okay. No. She got herself on my plan. But
- 52:33Speaker 1: then I had like another like thousand something a month.
- 52:35Speaker 1: But then I would see Blue Cross just as a chart.
- 52:38Speaker 3: And just go, yeah.
- 52:39Speaker 1: You know, so there was a lot of that. So
- 52:41Speaker 1: that was really hard. There was a lot of PayPal.
- 52:43Speaker 1: There was a lot of, you know, push pay, like
- 52:45Speaker 1: all these different things. So we had to go in, in, in, in.
- 52:48Speaker 1: And when I tell you, my house did look like Quantico.
- 52:52Speaker 3: So when at the time, after you tell him and
- 52:55Speaker 3: you guys start going deep, do you break it off
- 52:58Speaker 3: with her then or does she think everything's hunky-dory but
- 53:01Speaker 3: you're trying to like trap her?
- 53:03Speaker 1: I just stopped responding to her. Oh. Because I just
- 53:07Speaker 1: didn't know what I was going to do and I
- 53:09Speaker 1: knew I don't want her working for me. I didn't
- 53:10Speaker 1: want to get into an exchange of words with her.
- 53:12Speaker 4: Okay.
- 53:13Speaker 3: So you've told Ron and then what does he do?
- 53:15Speaker 3: So you've stopped responding to her. But in the meantime,
- 53:18Speaker 3: what does he do to protect that the fraud and
- 53:20Speaker 3: the deception stops at least?
- 53:22Speaker 6: Right.
- 53:22Speaker 1: So she's blowing me up. She's kind of like, hey,
- 53:25Speaker 1: what about this? Hey, you know. And now it makes
- 53:27Speaker 1: more sense to me. I'm like, wow, she's really hyper
- 53:30Speaker 1: if I don't respond. And now it's making more sense why.
- 53:34Speaker 1: So then I finally did text her and I just said, listen,
- 53:36Speaker 1: I told Ron everything. So stop texting me. And then
- 53:42Speaker 1: she was like, you probably don't want to talk to
- 53:45Speaker 1: me anymore. Right. And then I didn't respond. And then,
- 53:48Speaker 1: so you have to think at that point, I really
- 53:50Speaker 1: didn't know anything when I texted her that. So she
- 53:52Speaker 1: has no idea what I know. And really, I didn't
- 53:54Speaker 1: know much.
- 53:55Speaker 3: At this time, you still think it's the $ 30, 000.
- 53:58Speaker 1: But I just know that Ron was like, exactly what
- 54:01Speaker 1: I knew he would say. Like, you're done, whatever, you're
- 54:03Speaker 1: firing her. So that's what I told her. But she
- 54:06Speaker 1: must have assumed at that point I knew more. Yeah.
- 54:09Speaker 1: But really, no, it was between a spiritual advisor and Ron.
- 54:12Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 54:13Speaker 1: So then, yeah, so then Ron, yeah, he does everything
- 54:16Speaker 1: with Morgan Stanley, like, you know, changes accounts, does whatever.
- 54:19Speaker 1: So then I get on the phone now. And now
- 54:20Speaker 1: you have to understand the first time around I got
- 54:22Speaker 1: on the phone and just said, hey, can I get
- 54:24Speaker 1: a new card? Hey, can I get a new card?
- 54:25Speaker 1: You know, when I didn't do anything with bank accounts,
- 54:29Speaker 1: I just literally just changed my, I had a debit
- 54:32Speaker 1: card and a credit card. I changed those and then
- 54:34Speaker 1: changed passwords on everything on my laptop. Well, this time
- 54:37Speaker 1: I called Bank of America and I said, hey, I
- 54:39Speaker 1: need to close my card. I don't even like want
- 54:43Speaker 1: a card, you know, a debit card, nothing. And then
- 54:46Speaker 1: the guy gets on the phone and, you know, he
- 54:48Speaker 1: was just like, OK, well, what about your account? I'm like, yeah,
- 54:50Speaker 1: I have a checking and a savings. We can save that.
- 54:52Speaker 1: He's like, well, what about your other accounts? And I'm like, nope,
- 54:55Speaker 1: that's it. It was just, you know, checking savings and
- 54:57Speaker 1: the one debit card. And he was like, no, you've got,
- 55:00Speaker 1: you know, and I told him why I was doing it.
- 55:02Speaker 1: So I think that's why he was helpful.
- 55:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:04Speaker 1: And then he said, well, you can't see it. But
- 55:07Speaker 1: I can see that you have another checking, another savings,
- 55:10Speaker 1: and another like two credit cards. And I was like, wow, okay.
- 55:14Speaker 3: So where did she– so she opened those accounts, but
- 55:17Speaker 3: where was that money, the savings coming from? She pulled
- 55:20Speaker 3: it from the other savings?
- 55:21Speaker 1: So what she was doing was she was taking money
- 55:25Speaker 1: from either Morgan Stanley or the kids' college fund, mostly
- 55:29Speaker 1: the kids' college fund. She was putting it through the
- 55:33Speaker 1: B of A. So– The 529 is sending money to
- 55:38Speaker 1: a Bank of America account in my name.
- 55:42Speaker 3: And then everything is my name. And she's the only
- 55:45Speaker 3: one that has access to it because you don't even
- 55:46Speaker 3: know it exists. So you think, let's say, you think there's,
- 55:50Speaker 3: just to do easy numbers, you think there's 100,000 in
- 55:52Speaker 3: the kids' college.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 55:55Speaker 3: Throughout the year of her working for you, now there's $ 10, 000
- 56:00Speaker 3: and $ 90, 000 went through the account in a checking that
- 56:03Speaker 3: you had no idea that she was drawing from.
- 56:05Speaker 1: So that was the difficult part. So when I would
- 56:07Speaker 1: call Bank of America or 510, anytime I called someone
- 56:09Speaker 1: to tell them about the fraud, they were like, It
- 56:12Speaker 1: was going to an account in your name. You know
- 56:14Speaker 1: what I mean? Yeah.
- 56:14Speaker 3: So that made it a little bit difficult.
- 56:15Speaker 1: It wasn't like, yes. Yeah.
- 56:16Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 56:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Okay. So it was like, it was done. And then
- 56:20Speaker 1: even when she was taking money from Morgan Stanley, the
- 56:22Speaker 1: way she was doing it was in such safe ways
- 56:25Speaker 1: and approving, you know, because Morgan Stanley's like Fort Knox. So,
- 56:29Speaker 1: you know, I'd have to like do an email or
- 56:31Speaker 1: an authorization. She had access to everything. She was like,
- 56:34Speaker 1: she took over my life.
- 56:35Speaker 3: She was posing as you.
- 56:37Speaker 1: Yes.
- 56:37Speaker 3: Saying, can you send $ 50, 000 to my checking tomorrow?
- 56:40Speaker 1: And then how they normally are like, okay, we've got
- 56:42Speaker 1: to send you an email for verification. Boom. Log on
- 56:44Speaker 1: the email. Done. You know, like everything was... I mean, honestly,
- 56:48Speaker 1: I'm so grateful for Ron and Morgan Stanley because I
- 56:51Speaker 1: do think that without them, I wouldn't have been able
- 56:53Speaker 1: to have the, you know, the credibility to prove the
- 57:00Speaker 1: fraud as well and easy as I was able to.
- 57:03Speaker 3: So then when does the authorities get involved? Okay.
- 57:05Speaker 1: So wait.
- 57:06Speaker 4: So.
- 57:07Speaker 1: Again, like I find out about the credit cards, whatever.
- 57:08Speaker 1: And then I call the apartment complex that I was
- 57:13Speaker 1: trying to get for my girls because they were just
- 57:15Speaker 1: about to start college. And I said, hey, I know
- 57:18Speaker 1: that I had my assistant stop by to drop off
- 57:22Speaker 1: the applications and stuff. But I just want you to
- 57:25Speaker 1: know that I am now the contact person. So if
- 57:27Speaker 1: you need anything, they're like, oh, well, we called your assistant.
- 57:29Speaker 1: We told her that you were denied. And I'm like, what? Why?
- 57:32Speaker 1: What do you mean? And they said, your credit. I'm like, what?
- 57:38Speaker 1: I'm so confused. So I get online. I look up
- 57:41Speaker 1: my credit. My credit score is 400. And then on
- 57:44Speaker 1: there you see different credit cards. You see different like
- 57:47Speaker 1: where the credit was run like a million and 200
- 57:49Speaker 1: times for different things. And not paid. Oh, yeah. And
- 57:53Speaker 1: my husband is Daryl Hudsona. Like it was just a mess.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Like it was bigger than me. And then have you
- 57:59Speaker 1: ever tried to call any of these companies? Like you can't.
- 58:02Speaker 1: You can't.
- 58:02Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 58:02Speaker 1: Yeah. So it was, like, it was my full-time job from, like,
- 58:06Speaker 1: the morning– the minute I woke up to, like, late
- 58:08Speaker 1: at night and my kids. I mean, everyone, like, was– like,
- 58:11Speaker 1: my stepson had a job. My son had a job.
- 58:13Speaker 1: Everybody was, like, doing– To repair all this. Oh, just highlighting, printing,
- 58:17Speaker 1: going to Kinko's, you know. And then Ron– said, okay,
- 58:20Speaker 1: instead of just going to the police, what we're doing
- 58:23Speaker 1: is we're gonna hire this company, these fixers. Financial fixer people, yeah. Yeah,
- 58:27Speaker 1: and they're just gonna go in and they're gonna, like,
- 58:29Speaker 1: you know, so they were awesome. Like, I sent them
- 58:32Speaker 1: everything that I had, and then they put it all together,
- 58:35Speaker 1: and then they kind of had to get actual real stuff.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Like you, like I can print it out, but then
- 58:41Speaker 1: they have to subpoena and get like the real.
- 58:42Speaker 3: So they almost like built the case, like pre-built the
- 58:45Speaker 3: case for the prosecutor to make it easy for the
- 58:47Speaker 3: prosecutor to do it.
- 58:48Speaker 1: To guarantee that it was going to go on their desk.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Okay. Yep. And then we, I flew into New York
- 58:54Speaker 1: and with them, we went and met with the AUSA
- 58:57Speaker 1: and I interviewed with him. I told him the story.
- 59:00Speaker 1: They had the whole presentation for him.
- 59:02Speaker 3: The officer- And it was in New York because that's
- 59:04Speaker 3: where all the financial institutions are?
- 59:05Speaker 1: Well, here's the irony of it all, is that my
- 59:08Speaker 1: money comes out of New York.
- 59:09Speaker 6: Okay.
- 59:10Speaker 1: So I could have did it here or there. But
- 59:13Speaker 1: we figured, and especially this was before COVID, we were like,
- 59:16Speaker 1: New York would be harder on her. And she's been
- 59:19Speaker 1: in jail here before.
- 59:21Speaker 3: And how did you find that out?
- 59:22Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Because now we've got the detectives doing background checks,
- 59:26Speaker 1: and her name is spelled a million different ways. And,
- 59:29Speaker 1: you know, it's kind of funny. Like.
- 59:32Speaker 3: Cause her name is Tracy show Hudson.
- 59:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:35Speaker 1: But she goes by like, there's like Tracy show. Then
- 59:38Speaker 1: there's Tracy without the two eyes, which should have been
- 59:41Speaker 1: a red.
- 59:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:42Speaker 1: And then there's, um, like Tracy Vickian. Then there's Tracy,
- 59:45Speaker 1: you know? So, um, yeah. So they kind of dove
- 59:48Speaker 1: in and found out all this stuff about her. And, um,
- 59:53Speaker 1: we just kind of figured, yeah, New York is going
- 59:55Speaker 1: to be a better fit for this case to like
- 59:57Speaker 1: really put a stop to her. But then when COVID
- 59:59Speaker 1: hit and you know, the New York kind of lightened
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: up a little, but yeah. And so now, okay.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: So you find out the total, what's the total?
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: I wish there was more than water in there for this. No,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I'm just kidding. Um, So it just kept adding up
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: every day and every day. But I'm now– I'm looking
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: at $ 3 million. But you have to understand that half
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: of that is what I've spent on credit cards that
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: I don't own.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: So I don't know right now I'm going to have
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: to pay these. You know, like I got $ 1. 5 stolen
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: from me. And I've got another $ 1. 5 that I owe.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: On all these credit cards.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: On all these credit cards. That she has spent. And
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: I'm fighting on a daily. And some of them are
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: just like, you need to pay this or, you know
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: what I mean? And I don't know, do I pay it?
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: It's going to be harder if I pay it to
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: get it back.
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: It was just, it was chaos. So I'm dealing with
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: all that. And so, yeah, $ 3 million would be the number.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: But I would say like $ 1. 5 million was the actual cash.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: And then what was the whole other story with the
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: breakfast bitch?
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Okay, so... I want to say it was close to
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: around when I found out about that credit card and
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: stuff that she was opening this business, this restaurant. And
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: it was so funny. She was just like, you know,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: even I want to say at some point asked me
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: if I'd be interested in like, you know, you know,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: partnering with her. And I was like, yeah, probably not,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: you know.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: But yeah. So she opened this restaurant and she said that,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: you know, some guy had approached them and he wanted
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: to invest in it. And, you know, it was in
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: San Diego. And I was like, oh, this is great. And,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: you know, she invited me to the grand opening and
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: all that stuff. And, I mean, it was in San Diego,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: so it was a little far.
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: Did you go?
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: No. I'm telling you, I did not go to much.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: What I thought was interesting is that she opens this
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: breakfast place.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: I'm like, that's a pretty hard business to, like, be
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: waking up at 5 a.m.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: And making breakfast food and stuff.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: If she's such a successful, like, scammer. I thought that
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: was a weird thing to do. So I almost thought,
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: was she doing that to eventually stop with the stealing
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: of people like you and be on the up and up?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: See, that's what I think. And honestly, being built the
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: way that I am, I was trying not to focus
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: on that, not to focus on this like, you know,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: my initial instinct would be to think that. But I
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: still think like, Now that I really see her for
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: what she is, I'm like, is she just wanting credit
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: card galore to come to her hands? Like, you know,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: because you're in a restaurant. I don't know. I just
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: don't believe that there's any good intentions there. Right.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Everybody using their cards.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: And then I learned that there was this big lawsuit
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: from this other place, Bacon Bitch. And so when I
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: was in Miami, I went to see him. And he
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: was so nice. And we sat and talked and talked
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: and talked. And he was like, it makes so much
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: sense to me because I kept on thinking– I know
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: where my finances were.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: Yeah, he went after Breakfast Bitch because he felt they
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: were stealing his name.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: No, they stole everything. He said someone from Yelp called
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: him and was like, oh, you opened a place in
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: San Diego. And he was like, no. And he was like, oh,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: it's Place Breakfast. And he was like, oh, that happens.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: The names are similar. She's like, no. This is like
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: your actual menu, your actual– Like.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: Every single– Everything.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Like they didn't even bother. It was like plagiarizing 100%.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: And so then when he tried to sue her, apparently–
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: you know, she went after him hard. And he was
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: just like, where does a brand new business owner get
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: this kind of money? And he said, like, she was like,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: you know, like to where he said he would think like,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: when I first opened my restaurant, there's no way I
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: could have went. He thought he was going to shut
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: her down in a second because it's a brand new
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: business and you can't have that much success already. But
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: he said, now it makes sense where she was getting
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: the money to fight me. So I was pretty much
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: representing her. Yeah. But, uh, yeah. So, um, So, you know,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: I just got a lot of insight. And then I
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: want to say her sister ended up– we found each
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: other on Facebook. And then her sister was like– that
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: kind of made me feel good to hear like a
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: family member say this has been– So what did this
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: sister say about her? That this has been– I think
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: that might have been a lot where I found some
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: like of her history too as far as some of
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: the– What was her history? Meaning like the other arrests
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: and stuff because one of them was like the– The
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: time had been so long that it wasn't even Googleable or,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: you know. But she had, like, stolen a car and
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: then did time for that. And then she did, like,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: some other, like, tax evasion and passport fraud. And then
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: went to jail for that. And, you know, the sister
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: really– I feel bad for the sister because she's, like,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: seems to be, like, the black sheep of the family.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: And they kind of just bully her and they're just
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: so mean to her.
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: The sister or Tracy is the black sheep?
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Unfortunately, the sister is the black– yeah.
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: Why?
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Because it's not a great family. Like it's not– you know,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: like there's a history of a lot of criminal activity and,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: you know, and the sister is the only one that
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: kind of wants to speak the truth and has a conscience.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: And isn't a criminal, I guess, in her.
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: Own– And so the sister, because she was interviewed too,
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: it's like– it's almost like this girl Tracy was just
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: bad from the start.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: That's it.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: Like she was like stealing tricycles and shit. Yeah.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: I haven't done that. Or at least he's tough. I mean,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: I wasn't an angel in high school, but come on.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: I think some people are boring. Yeah, it's their nature. Yeah.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: I think it was her nature, but her nurture wasn't
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: great also. Either, yeah. So she kind of was screwed, yeah.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: And who was this husband? Did he have a criminal
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: past before getting with her?
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: To be honest with you, I don't think so. I
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: think that the husband got caught up with her when
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: they were married and then– You know, he probably– I
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: don't know what he knew of, what he didn't know
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: of at the time, but I think he was like
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: an up-and-coming musician trying to make it. So he was
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: probably just focused on the benefits of being able to
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: build his career.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: You just thought he was with a rich woman. Oh, yeah.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Or maybe like even, you know, just– okay like wherever
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: you know almost like that the the mob wife who's
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: like I don't know whatever so I don't know I
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: really don't I have no idea I can't speak on
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: that but I know that he's been traumatized and she's
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: like dragged his name through the mud and you know
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: she's done a lot of damage to a lot of
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: people and it's it's sad yeah it's really sad and
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: I think that was a thing with me is I
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: started working with, you know, her old best friend and
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: her sister, her ex, whatever. And for me, it's not emotional.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: You know, for me, for whatever reason, I was protected
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: from feeling any, you know, connection or emotion with her.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: So to me, I felt like it wasn't even my case.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Like I was outside my body working on this case.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: So sometimes, you know, we'd get these group texts and
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: they were very intense. The group texts of who being... Right,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: because they're more... Traumatized.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: Oh, you mean these other victims of her?
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: Because there was this other woman that she basically like
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: moved in.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Was like a best friend, yeah.
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: A best friend who her kids knew, I guess, the daughter.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: So she presented herself like this palisades mom and then
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: somehow manipulated in her.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: Spotting.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: Like letting her live there. But that girl, that woman
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: was her friend after. You know what I thought about
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: that one woman? Because we meet this one woman. I
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: really kind of felt like she sought out this woman.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: who might have not had many mom friends in the community.
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: And so she became friends with her. Then she goes
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: and does seven years in prison, Tracy. And then she
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: comes back, and the woman's nice, but also this girl
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: wants to be her girlfriend. And I kind of felt
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: like this woman didn't have a lot of girlfriends.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: That could be. So she really sought out the people.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: She found the opening. Yeah. Then she starts staying with
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: the woman.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Tries to, like, break up her marriage.
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: Yeah, which she did because they did get divorced.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: I think they're still together, but they've had their ups
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: and downs. Oh, okay. Yeah.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: And then is staying in, like, a property of hers
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: and then, of course, will not leave.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Insane.
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: That I always find so scary. Did she ever make
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: any attempts to, like, move into your property or anything?
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: No. No, not at all. As a matter of fact,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: I remember one time... her, she's just so good at
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: knowing your limits and knowing, you know, I, I, I
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: think they had nowhere to stay because they renting their,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: they were renting their property or whatever. And I'm like,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: you guys can crash. I have a guest room. Like,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: you know, it was like for two nights and it
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: was like the biggest deal to her. You know what
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: I mean? And she was like, Oh, I could never,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: there's no way, you know, like, so she did it. No, they,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: they ended up spending one night there, her and Daryl. Yeah.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah. No. But, um, like, she was mortified to
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: have to do that. Like she was just so good
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: at knowing people's personalities and, knowing what would impress them.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: So where is the case now?
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: So she's supposed to be sentenced on the 28th of
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: this month.
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: So she was convicted?
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Well, she pled guilty. Okay. After completely saying she wasn't and,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: you know, everyone's a liar.
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: What was her initial defense?
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Her initial defense was that, you know, fake news and
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: this isn't real and whatever, you know. But the detective
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: that I worked with in New York, he was awesome.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: You know, he kept reassuring me, like, don't worry, don't worry,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: this is, you know. And then he would, like, you know,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: tell me, like. you know, he's on cases that there's
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: like billions of dollars and, you know, so I'm like,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: I get it, but this is just really important to me.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Oh my God. Yeah. And so he was really nice
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: about understanding that and always keeping me updated.
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: Which is also really sad because 3 million is a
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: lot and you had these connections with the people that
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: brought the case and everything. But I think why a
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: lot of these cases don't make it is because someone
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: steals $ 10, 000 from you or $ 20, 000, which is a lot.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: To anybody, but it is small beans.
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: And there's only so many people in this department to
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: go after these people.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: And even if they get them, it's still somewhat under
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: petty theft or whatever, or it's not a violent crime.
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: No one's life was threatened. So they're not going to
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: get that much time.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: You don't get a penny back. Right. Yeah. Yeah. No,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: that's the truth. That's sad.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: So I think sometimes with a person that was deceived
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: and everything, even they're like, oh my God, fine, whatever.
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: And then they're hard on themselves. I allowed this person
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: to be with me or date them or have them
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: be my sister or whatever. So the fact that I
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: lost $ 25, 000, I'd rather just forget it and I don't
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: want to be humiliated and like I hate that person
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: and whatever. And then they get away with it and
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: then they go to the next victim.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: I'm not going to lie. If it wasn't for the
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: kids' college fund, I don't know if it would have
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: lit the fire in me the way– because you know
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: how it is like when someone does something to you,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: you're like, okay.
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: We're good. I'm never going to deal with you again.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: But when someone does something to someone you care about,
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: all of a sudden you just turn into, like, you know,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: fight mode. And I think that's what– I'll never forget
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: when I called the– and, I mean, I was on
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: the phone with a guy from Morgan Stanley. Ron had
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: one of his guys just call with me to a
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: bunch of different places to, you know, make sure she
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: changes this, make sure she– because I was, like, so upset.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: And we called the 529. And I remember both of
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: us on the phone being like, I'm sure, but just,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: you know, to be safe, let's just change this info.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: And the lady– you know, we told her why we
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: were doing this and we need to change it. And
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: then that's when she said, you do realize there's been
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: a lot of activity since 2017. And I've never in
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: my life had that feel like, you know, like it
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: was almost like someone actually punched me so hard in
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: the gut. Like that was the sickest. And I just,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: that was it. Like that was it. I was like,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: you were going down.
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: And so, so then eventually I guess she, they decided
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: it'd be best that she plead.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: I don't know why. I don't know why. It's out
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: of the blue. She did plea.
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: Well, so did Jen Shah.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: I think it's when they're presented and their counsel is like,
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: there's no way. And if you make them spend all
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: this money on trial, you're going to get so much
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: more time. And this way you'll go to maybe a
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: decent federal prison. So what does your people think she'll get?
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: Well, the crazy thing about the plea was that the
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: last time she went to prison, she got seven years. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: And I believe she stole more this time. And again,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: this is like your third strike, even though it's not
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: the same. It's not violent.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Yeah. Or in the same area. But I think her
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: plea said something like, you know, she has to pay
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: me back. She has to pay the government back. And
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: then she has to serve like it was like up
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: to three years or something. And I thought, what? How?
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: That literally mean.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: That's BS. Like, no way. So, and then, and the
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: truth is she's been violating her order, like, left and
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: right since she's- Her parole order. What is it? When
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: you get out on bail until your court, whatever. Oh, okay.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Yeah. Because, like, she's only supposed to stay in the area.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: She's only, you know, and she's been all over the
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: place and she's doing everything. And, you know, like, she
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: had a plea, her sentencing date was the beginning of-
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: And her lawyer wrote a letter to the court saying
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: that she had long haul COVID and couldn't travel. But
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: literally that same week, she's at a Cardinals game, at
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: a Suns game.
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: And how do you know? Because she's still posting on
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: her Instagram?
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: It's everywhere. It's everywhere. There's so many. Like, she can't. Like,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: you know what I mean? And I used to live
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: in Phoenix. Like, I used to live in Scottsdale. Right.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: It's just... There's so much that gets back. And I
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know what to, you know, why
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: she thinks she can get away with all of this.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: It's crazy. It's crazy.
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: Or if she just doesn't care.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: So the husband is not in trouble. So the husband,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: this one's really good. After American Greed aired, he posted
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: something on his Facebook page basically saying that, you know,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: it was BS and that it stinks because she can't even, like,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: speak her truth. Like, completely defending her.
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: And then saying how, like, there's so many shows that
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: are approaching us. Just wait. We're going to have our
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: own show. Oh, my God. And then, like, in a
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: couple hours, he took it down. So I don't know if, like,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: a lawyer saw it, like, said, this isn't good. Or
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Tracy saw it and was like, are you crazy? Like,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: I wouldn't be surprised if it was also like, we're
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: going to sue you for defamation. Like, the Tinder swindler
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: was like, I'm going to have my own show. He
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: did the same thing. I'm going to have my own show.
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: I'm suing Netflix. Where is he now?
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: But isn't Anna Delvey? She is getting a show, right?
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: Yeah, she's supposed to have a show. And I just
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: saw a clip of her. And it's like something for
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: Alexander McQueen fashion.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Because of her ankle bracelet?
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: And she has a shoe on and a big ankle bracelet.
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: And then she has nylons underneath the ankle bracelet. And
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: someone's like, how did she get her nylons underneath? Who
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: is working with her? On what's, like, I'm, like, almost, like,
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: is somebody in the government, like, getting a cut of this, like,
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: post-life of Anna Delvey? Like, what the hell is happening?
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: And why are we giving these? I hate to say it.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: I just feel like a production company is desperate and gross.
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: And they're, like.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Thank you. I have a connection here.
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: And if that's what's going to get my show on
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: the air, I don't care if you're a criminal, a murderer, whatever.
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: We just need to get something.
- 1:15:44Speaker 6: On the air.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: But they're also glamorizing it, which is, like, horrible. And,
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: I mean, Tracy's not attractive. She's not. I can't imagine
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: someone wanting to do something with her at this point,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: but I wouldn't be surprised. And you know what? More
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: power to her. I could care less. Just pay me
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: my money back. Go serve some time. And if you
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: want to blog or vlog from prison, go nuts. And
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: you did your service. You're letting, you know, so many.
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: People will tell about, I was victimized by this person,
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: whether it was criminal or sexual assault or whatever. And
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: then they're like, well, They're just going to choose not
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: to tell because I don't want, you know, you told.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: And it was embarrassing. Anybody that gets involved with her
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: or whatever.
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: But someone might get involved with her and she might
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: have a new name and a new face five years
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: from now.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: I'm hoping everyone knows who she is.
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: At least you did your due diligence. Like you did
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: it all. You spent all that time making sure that.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: She is found out. And money. I've actually put money
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: into it. Oh, I'm sure. That's all on my dime.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: But you know what? Again, I kind of thought. Okay,
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: let's say she goes away. She's only getting older. By
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: the time she gets out, what's next? Elderly? My mom's 92. Right.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Every day she's calling me with like, they want me
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: to call this number to collect. I'm like, no, don't call.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: That's not real.
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: I just wonder, what if she ends up in the
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: same prison outside of New York of the Jen Shah prison?
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: She would be happy because that's the closest she would
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: get to reality TV. The two of them would hit
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: it off. So when she worked for me, she was
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: constantly pushing me to do reality TV. She was like,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: you should do Beverly Hills.
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: Real Housewives, Beverly Hills.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: No, it was NBA Wives. Oh. Because they would call
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: and they would ask. And I'd always passed on it.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: And one time she actually said, I've set up a meeting.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: It's not NBA Wives. It's something different. But I think
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: it's like there.
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: Positive.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: It's blah, blah, blah, whatever. She's like, just go to
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: the meeting, you know, won't hurt you. And I'm like, okay, okay.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: We go to the meeting. And when I first walk in,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: you know how production companies have like the posters of
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: everything they've done. I'm like, there's basketball wives everywhere.
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, maybe it's the same production company, but whatever.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: And I'm sitting there in the meeting with a lady.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: And then finally I was like, wait, is this for
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: basketball wives? And she goes, okay, but hear me out first.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Cause I know she told me that you, you know,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: and I'm like, this was like a conspiracy. Like, no,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: you know? Yeah. Um, But at the time, I looked
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: at it as she wants to see me get out
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: there and she wants to have me promote something if
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: I am. But now looking back.
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: No, if you had gone on that, she would have
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: been the best friend and like, yeah.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Yeah, hindsight. Yeah. Wow. So that is obviously a big
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: goal of hers. And that's why they did Homeless Millionaires,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: thinking that was going to explode. And she's probably taking
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: a lot of pleasure in the notoriety she's getting right now.
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: Okay, so once she knows the gig is up, you're
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: no longer talking to her, everything is being changed and
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: shut down. So I assume she's not actively trying to
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: steal from you anymore. Do you ever hear from her again,
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: like getting mad at you or apologizing or what?
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: Yeah, so no, I don't hear from her until it's
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: time for her to finally be arrested. And they needed
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: to track her phone. So they asked me to call
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: her and, you know, like they were on the line.
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: And so now how long had it been since you've
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: spoken to her?
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: Oh, gosh, this was I hadn't talked to her since
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: twenty nineteen. And this would have been twenty twenty one.
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: Oh, so it had been a year and a half
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: or so. Yeah, it's been some time.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: All right. So I call her. She doesn't answer. So
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: they tell me to leave a message. Uh-huh.
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: And I just– What's the message?
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: What did you say? Yeah, I just basically said, hi, Tracy.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: It's Jemana. Just calling. You know, love to talk to you.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: You know, just put some closure on this. Okay.
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: So she might have thought that you were going after her.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay. So then what?
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: So then the next day I received this big, long text. Okay.
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: So can I read this?
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: Yeah, you can. Hi, Jamana.
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: First and foremost, I'm glad to hear that you are
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: all safe and healthy. I've thought about you a lot
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: and knowing that you and TJ have compromised medical situation
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: and with all the craziness going on in the world.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Because it's COVID.
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: When I heard your voice, it rocked me to the core.
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: Of course, I have felt like you have some hate
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: in your heart for me. Even you, of all people
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: who have nothing but love for the world, I've hated
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: myself for some time and still go through motions of
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: working and living life. But I will admit, I've been
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: pretty numb, like just ready for the worst because I
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: know I have it coming. No matter how hard I
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: try to pay forward for acts of kindness, I feel
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: like a fraud. I picked up the phone to call
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: you on occasion and about 10 times in the last
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: 24 hours, but I just lose my voice. I understand
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: that you want closure. Somehow I feel like I'll never
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: find it. I'll never find it? You're in such a
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: higher spiritual place than I am, but I do want
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: it for you too. Maybe we can set aside some
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: time for a conversation and I just need to woman
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: up and do that soon.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, sounds amazing. So then what happened?
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: Normally I would never even share something like this, but
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: it's such BS that I don't feel like It's even,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: you know, oh, nothing. They got what they needed. They
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: tracked her phone.
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: Oh, so they just needed a back and forth to
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: track it. And then where did she get arrested?
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: And then that's when they went to Phoenix to arrest her.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: And she contacted them and said, I'm not, she got like,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: someone gave her a lead, I guess. And then she said, well,
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: I'm not here. I'm in San Diego. So I'll turn
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: myself in tomorrow. And they were like, we know you're here.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: And she kept denying it.
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: Because of the phone.
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: And then she even had a lawyer call them and say,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: my client, it wasn't the lawyer she's using now. And
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: that lawyer ended up getting pissed off and firing her
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: because she lied to them and told them she was
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: in San Diego and put the lawyer in a bad position.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: And so then they actually were really ready to kind
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: of just like bail. They were like, let's just drive
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: by the restaurant one more time. And then that's when
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: they saw her in the alley. And when she saw them,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: she ran. And then they kind of went to the
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: other side of the alley. And then that's when they
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: arrested her. And then she was out like, you know,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: a day later. on bail or bond or whatever.
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: So where is she living right now?
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: Do you know?
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Yeah, they live in Arizona. Oh, okay. So the day
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: after her plea, she flew into New York. She pled guilty.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: The very next day on social media, they post a
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: video of a new building owner handing her keys to
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: their new way bigger location of Breakfast Bitch. Arizona. And
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: now this place is humongous. Like they, it also is
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: connected to a bar. So wait, so I, okay.
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: I can go to Breakfast Bitch. I'm going to go
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: to Scottsdale a little bit.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: I'll be there for Super Bowl, but it's going to
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: be hard for me. I won't be. Okay. So I'm
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: going the weekend after the next. Okay. So if I
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: went to Breakfast Bitch, it's open.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: I can order. Yeah, she's there.
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: And she's.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: She's there. Her husband's there.
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: So is it like in the husband's name then and
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: not in hers?
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: No. He's got a criminal record too. I don't know
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: whose name.
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: Now, in paying you back, will, if this place stays
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: open while she's in prison, will you be getting like
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: a check for $ 300 a month or something?
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: How does it work? I have no clue. Especially since
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: we have proof on credit cards that she did a
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: lot of the opening of it with my money. Like
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: that usually is a big deal. Or you should own
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: part of it. Yeah.
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: Not that you want it.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: No. But I will tell you the place, I mean,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: from what you see on social media, like it's always packed.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: It's like that. it's like that day party vibe, you know?
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: And yeah, they've got like karaoke one night, comedy one night.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: Like they opened, they've attached like a bar. So it's
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: called like fourth quarter, which is hilarious because there's a
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: place like that, that I feel like she copied.
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: But I would be terrified. I mean, the only way
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: I think someone should go give their credit card is
- 1:23:52Speaker 3: if the person is holding the thing and they're like,
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: they don't leave, you know? Because I'm like, I would
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: be terrified to have my credit card go back with someone.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: If you go on Breakfast Bitch's Instagram, you'll see people
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: posting stuff like, wait, why are you still open? Or
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: I just saw American Greed. But then like 10 minutes later,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: they're deleted. So someone's like full time deleting those comments
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: right now. But you look at how packed it is
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: and stuff. And I know for a fact 90% of
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: those people in there, if they knew. I have friends
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: in Arizona who actually had went before they knew about
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: this and called me and were like, I will never delete.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: step foot in that place again. I'm like, I don't know,
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: maybe you should. I mean, if I'm going to get
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: the place, let's keep it going. Oh my God.
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: Insane.
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: But I mean, the day after you plead guilty and
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: then you go get the keys to the new place,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: which is humongous. And I mean, it just, there's this
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: like God complex. There's, I don't know what it is.
- 1:24:43Speaker 3: No, it's just that narcissism and that like that privilege,
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: that just audacity really of just being like, who cares? Well,
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: And also maybe not being afraid of doing three years.
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: Maybe being like, you know what?
- 1:24:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: I'm going to meet Jen Shaw. I'm going to end
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: up being on a reality show with her.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: Right. I'm going to learn more new.
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: Ways to deceive people while I'm there for three years
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: working with other white collar criminals. And I'll be bigger
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: and better.
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: You know. Probably.
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: You actually could be right. And it's funny that you
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: mentioned privilege because I think it's funny that she does
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: promote the restaurant as black owned. because her husband is black. And,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: you know, she throws in the cornrows and, you know,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: the box braids. She's 100% white. But it's like appropriation
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: to its finest. And then on top of it, you know,
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: you're black-owned, whatever, and it's all about, you know... But then, like,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: you ran on foot when you were getting arrested. Like,
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: that alone. Like, you know what I mean? Yeah. Like,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: that wouldn't have ended well if you were brown or black. Right.
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: Again, Leah, but I'm good. I'm okay.
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: Yeah. Like, and you see her living her life that way. Wow.
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: With the, in your face, I know I'm not supposed to, like,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: leave the area, but I'm on vacation and I'm, you know, like,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: not everyone would get away with that. And she, I feel,
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: is definitely milking that. Wow. Yet has a black-owned business.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: That's the... the frustrating part. Like you just milk every
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: aspect that you can. Right. Someone thinking they're doing a
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: good thing.
- 1:26:14Speaker 3: Like, oh, you know what? Let's go to that breakfast.
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: It's like, yeah, it's a horrible white female criminal. Like, really?
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah.
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: Well, God, thank you so much for coming. It was
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: really great meeting you. I'm glad that you've gotten your
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: story out and that, you know, just to be cognizant
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: of who you bring in your life yeah and and
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: trusting and not to feel bad about anything but yeah
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: and if you're sitting back and you're listening to this
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: and you really trust a person you know.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: It's okay like you're not a bad person to ask some.
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: Questions and maybe you know spend an afternoon and just
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: check everything every once in a while and like just
- 1:26:55Speaker 3: make sure everything is on the up and up but
- 1:26:57Speaker 3: i think you have to be really careful about having
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: someone have any access to That type of stuff.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: But she actually, I mean, she signed a power of attorney.
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: Like when you, if I were to give her a
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: power of attorney, none of this would have went to court.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: You know what I mean? And she had that access
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: because she forged a power of attorney with a notary. Yeah,
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: because I was like, you need a notary for that.
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: So then she, did she must have had a, with
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: the notary person?
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: Yeah, we figured it out. The notary person was a
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: shady person too? No, we met with the notary person.
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: There was an actual notary that day, but I don't know.
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: It was something where I, I did sign, but she
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: stuck one of the pages that where I had needed
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: my actual signature in it. So it was like sign, sign, sign, sign.
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Like she set it all
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: up because the notary comes to our house. So she
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: gets to do all the stickers and stuff. And then
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: like she does all the work for him. Then he
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: comes and just makes sure. And so when you saw
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: the power of attorney, you could see that my actual
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: signature was mine. But then all the initials and all
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: the other pages was not my handwriting.
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: But you were not there for that, obviously.
- 1:28:03Speaker 6: For what?
- 1:28:04Speaker 3: This power of attorney thing. Obviously, you were just– they
- 1:28:07Speaker 3: came to the house, but you weren't there.
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: No, no, no. I was there, but she– okay, so
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: the power of attorney was like four pages, all initials,
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: and then the last page had nothing on it.
- 1:28:16Speaker 3: But my signature. But you weren't giving her power of attorney.
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: Oh, no. You were doing– I was signing something. It
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: was like something for real estate. It was like a
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: real estate transaction.
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: So you were doing.
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: Something totally else with the page. And in doing that,
- 1:28:27Speaker 3: she's like, let me help you with organizing everything. And
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: then she slipped this in. Yeah.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: And got it notarized where he has the documentation for it.
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: Like he sees where it was done.
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: Because I was like, did she impersonate? I was thinking
- 1:28:42Speaker 3: she was impersonating you like with dark hair and like
- 1:28:46Speaker 3: almost like becoming like single white female and just becoming
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: your look. But no, it was none of that.
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: It was just all. She takes actual risks like that
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: are like they should put you under the penitentiary.
- 1:28:55Speaker 5: Wow.
- 1:28:56Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: Insane.
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
