- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hello everyone, welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast. Or Today
- 0:10Speaker 2: we'll be talking Bachelor headlines, and tomorrow I'll be talking
- 0:14Speaker 2: to Raven Gates, which I'm so excited about because we're
- 0:17Speaker 2: going to talk so much motherhood and partnership and motherhood.
- 0:21Speaker 2: But today I am joined by one of my favorite
- 0:25Speaker 2: Bachelor Nation contestants.
- 0:28Speaker 3: I mean, I'm hoping I'm your favorite Bachelor Nation contestant.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Definitely my favorite obviously.
- 0:36Speaker 3: I'm Jared. That's my name. Hey, guys, Jared Ikenetti, Jared
- 0:40Speaker 3: I for the listeners out there, Well.
- 0:44Speaker 2: That's funny. We should just start with that. That's fun
- 0:46Speaker 2: Are you annoyed that I haven't officially taken your last name?
- 0:50Speaker 3: Not at all?
- 0:51Speaker 2: Are you sure?
- 0:51Speaker 3: Because Raven speaking of rape, I actually.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Think I should talk to Ramon about that because I
- 0:56Speaker 2: talked to Crystal about that a couple of weeks ago
- 0:59Speaker 2: and she said that she's going to but I was like,
- 1:01Speaker 2: but you realize that you have to go like to
- 1:03Speaker 2: this office and it's that the office, and it's that
- 1:05Speaker 2: office and you She was like, oh, okay, yeah, yeah,
- 1:07Speaker 2: I'm gonna do it.
- 1:08Speaker 3: As well, as Dawson has my last name, that's what
- 1:11Speaker 3: I care about most.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Yeah, but what we want is that, like, we want
- 1:13Speaker 2: Dawson to have the same last name as me, because
- 1:15Speaker 2: sometimes when we go through TSA, they're like they check
- 1:19Speaker 2: me multiple times, like they want my ID.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Yeah. But as long as license, as long as Dawson
- 1:24Speaker 3: and I get on the plane, that's the most important thing.
- 1:26Speaker 2: You can stay back and you can have him on
- 1:27Speaker 2: your lap the entire time. He's a little viby well
- 1:31Speaker 2: blah blah blah blah. Kids. That leads into our first topic.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Bachelor Nations Nick by All and fiance Natalie Joy reveal
- 1:40Speaker 2: the sex of their first child. First off, baby, do
- 1:42Speaker 2: we know Natalie's last name?
- 1:44Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:44Speaker 2: Joy?
- 1:45Speaker 3: I would imagine Why would she lie about that?
- 1:47Speaker 2: I think that that's like her cutesy Instagram handle, Like,
- 1:50Speaker 2: what's her real last name?
- 1:51Speaker 3: I bet it's Joy?
- 1:52Speaker 2: Do you think so?
- 1:53Speaker 3: Do you think Joy is a stage name?
- 1:55Speaker 2: No? I think it's her middle name.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:57Speaker 2: But isn't this funny that we don't even know the
- 2:00Speaker 2: answer to this?
- 2:01Speaker 3: No? Well, I mean her name soon will be Natalie
- 2:04Speaker 3: viol That's what she's under in my phone. They're gonna
- 2:08Speaker 3: have the same initials envy.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Oh that's cute. Yeahs okay, Well, they're having a girl,
- 2:14Speaker 2: which is great news because that means that they didn't
- 2:17Speaker 2: lie to us. Did you hear what he did? No,
- 2:21Speaker 2: he said when they announced that they were having a baby,
- 2:24Speaker 2: not the gender reveal. He said, some of our friends
- 2:27Speaker 2: know the gender already, but then we faked some of
- 2:30Speaker 2: our friends out and sent them the fake gender just
- 2:33Speaker 2: to weed out who's our real friends aduced, not to
- 2:37Speaker 2: see if it got out there got leaked.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Yeah, well that's good. I'm glad he doesn't think that
- 2:42Speaker 3: we're gonna leak his gender to the press.
- 2:44Speaker 2: So we received this video probably like, I don't know,
- 2:49Speaker 2: six weeks in advance of them actually revealed.
- 2:51Speaker 3: It's like a long time ago, doesn't it.
- 2:52Speaker 2: I feel like it's probably six weeks.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess I feel concept at time.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not really good with that.
- 2:58Speaker 3: I thought, honestly, today today is Monday. I thought it
- 3:01Speaker 3: was Thursday for the longest time. Oh and then but
- 3:06Speaker 3: yesterday I thought it was Saturday. Saturday, I thought it
- 3:09Speaker 3: was Friday.
- 3:10Speaker 2: So we received the video a couple weeks months ago,
- 3:14Speaker 2: and we saw them pop the balloon and reveal it
- 3:17Speaker 2: was a girl. I'm not surprised at all by this. Uh,
- 3:20Speaker 2: but Nick is going to be a very protective girl dad.
- 3:24Speaker 2: And the caption that they that they captured this shared
- 3:28Speaker 2: Instagram post was her first words will be boundaries. What
- 3:32Speaker 2: do you think of that?
- 3:33Speaker 3: I think it's very vile files of him. That's what
- 3:36Speaker 3: I think it is.
- 3:37Speaker 2: What does that mean? It's not it's not very Nick
- 3:40Speaker 2: of him, but it's very vile files.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Uh yeah, what would if if Nick was being true
- 3:47Speaker 3: to himself, what would probably packers? No packers? Yeah?
- 3:52Speaker 2: No, what is Nick love? Nick loves like debating? Yeah, okay,
- 3:57Speaker 2: I was gonna say, like, her first word will be
- 4:01Speaker 2: that debate.
- 4:02Speaker 3: I mean that is funny. I mean, god, the poor
- 4:04Speaker 3: soul whoever tries to date his daughter? Oh my god,
- 4:07Speaker 3: the psychological evaluation. This man's gonna have to be Robert
- 4:10Speaker 3: de Niro, Yeah from parents.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Yeah, Oh my gosh. Can you imagine the first meeting
- 4:18Speaker 2: will be like? And how he'll just try it? So
- 4:20Speaker 2: I always make fun of Nick and Jared because both
- 4:23Speaker 2: of them love to play devil's advocate and they both
- 4:25Speaker 2: love to argue, So the two of them could spend
- 4:29Speaker 2: hours defending a point of view that they both truly
- 4:33Speaker 2: don't believe in, but they'll take the position and just
- 4:37Speaker 2: fight to the death for that position.
- 4:38Speaker 3: You know, I think Nick does well too, if I
- 4:40Speaker 3: think about it. I know he talks a lot, but
- 4:43Speaker 3: what Nick also does very well is let he lets
- 4:45Speaker 3: you talk, but almost to your detriment, where things will
- 4:50Speaker 3: just be coming out.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Of your mouth. He'll pick up on every single little
- 4:53Speaker 2: thing exactly, and whatever you say he will be used
- 4:56Speaker 2: against you in the court of Nick viol But let
- 4:58Speaker 2: me also say that I think that these two may
- 5:01Speaker 2: have lost out on a great a profession that was
- 5:05Speaker 2: a calling for both of them. It could have been
- 5:06Speaker 2: the have been in viol or, as Nick would insist
- 5:10Speaker 2: on the viall and habin my partners in law. Yeah
- 5:14Speaker 2: should you guys should Well, you could have gone to
- 5:17Speaker 2: law school together in LA But I guess we've all.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Yeah, we have worked out time in the world to
- 5:21Speaker 3: do that. Now Nick and I will just go to
- 5:24Speaker 3: law school.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Ah No, but I'm talking a couple of years ago
- 5:26Speaker 2: when you guys used to live together.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Yeah, we could have done that.
- 5:29Speaker 2: We also are really enjoying Natalie's Instagram content hilarious. She
- 5:34Speaker 2: posted a TikTok the other day. I guess you put
- 5:36Speaker 2: it on Instagram too. She was like, we were out
- 5:39Speaker 2: baby shopping in New York and Nick calls her from
- 5:41Speaker 2: across the store and goes, I just found the perfect,
- 5:45Speaker 2: like first outfit that I want to buy for our child.
- 5:48Speaker 2: And did you see the picture? No, Jared, I have
- 5:50Speaker 2: to pull up my phone right now.
- 5:52Speaker 3: So the outfit Ashley is speaking of is a pantsuit?
- 5:56Speaker 3: Is that what you say?
- 5:57Speaker 2: It's definitely boyish, it's gray, and it is a pantsuit
- 6:03Speaker 2: for a toddler. Yeah, not even a toddler. That looks
- 6:06Speaker 2: like a first year outfit.
- 6:07Speaker 3: I fully expect from this outfit that Nick wants his
- 6:10Speaker 3: little girl to run for president one day.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Oh, I was gonna say, be the first guest, like
- 6:14Speaker 2: on the couch at the Vile Files.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Well that also, that's definitely She can wear the same
- 6:18Speaker 3: suit jacket to her interview on Vile Files and her
- 6:23Speaker 3: first town hall meeting.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I think this is going to be the
- 6:26Speaker 2: first girl of many children for Nick and Natalie. Actually,
- 6:30Speaker 2: I think they're going to have, well at least three,
- 6:33Speaker 2: because he comes from a family in which he is
- 6:35Speaker 2: one of ten.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean there's a lot of kids. This really
- 6:40Speaker 3: goes without saying. I think both you and I think
- 6:42Speaker 3: that Nick and Natalie are just going to be fantastic parents.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Nick we've always thought Nick is going to be a
- 6:47Speaker 3: wonderful dad. We have no doubt about that. Natalie seems
- 6:50Speaker 3: like she's just going to be a fantastic mother, very loving, nurturing,
- 6:54Speaker 3: and they're so great together. Yeah, their daughter is going
- 7:00Speaker 3: to be very loved. So we're very excited for both them.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Yeah, those are two parents i'd like to be born
- 7:07Speaker 2: and important too, of course if I had to choose
- 7:09Speaker 2: other parents, of course than my own, which are the best.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Former Bachelorette star Katie Thurston joins f Boy Island for
- 7:27Speaker 2: season three on the c W. So you guys know
- 7:30Speaker 2: that the men who married us our love Alon Gale.
- 7:33Speaker 2: He created the series and it was on the on
- 7:37Speaker 2: Max or HBO Max whatever you want to call it,
- 7:41Speaker 2: two seasons twenty one and twenty two, and now they
- 7:46Speaker 2: canceled it on Max, but they've moved it over to
- 7:48Speaker 2: the c W. And I feel like the tie to
- 7:53Speaker 2: a lawn and Katie, there has to be some sort
- 7:56Speaker 2: of tie there as to why he'd want her right.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I mean, even though he didn't produce produce any of
- 8:02Speaker 2: the seasons that she was on. Uh, what do you
- 8:06Speaker 2: think it was about Katie that like Alon was probably
- 8:08Speaker 2: like I'd like to have her be a lead on
- 8:10Speaker 2: F Boy Island where if you guys don't know, F
- 8:11Speaker 2: Boy Island basically there's three female leads. Then there's a
- 8:15Speaker 2: cast of like twenty something guys and oh yeah, thirteen
- 8:21Speaker 2: self proclaimed nice guys looking for love and thirteen self
- 8:25Speaker 2: proclaimed f boys looking to compete for cash.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Uh, there's probably a lot of reasons. One, I think
- 8:31Speaker 3: Katie is single, she was a bachelor wrette, she's a
- 8:34Speaker 3: big name. Bring her on F Boy Island. She's very
- 8:37Speaker 3: open about her sex life.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I think that has a lot to do with it.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Of course. Yeah, yeah, it seems like a perfect match.
- 8:45Speaker 3: My question because the CW to me like I remember
- 8:50Speaker 3: watching Smallville in the flash. Yeah, yeah, I guess there's
- 8:55Speaker 3: you know, reality TV shows a model. Yeah, I'm curious
- 8:58Speaker 3: how salacious the show hows just show can be.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Well, he's give me more silaicious on MASX.
- 9:05Speaker 3: Of course, I mean that's HBO. You can be as
- 9:07Speaker 3: silicious as you want, Like, imagine sex and the city
- 9:10Speaker 3: on the CW.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it would be like the edited version which
- 9:13Speaker 2: I watch on E all the time exactly.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Well, yeah, so I'm wonder if this is like an
- 9:17Speaker 3: edited version of f Boy Island.
- 9:19Speaker 2: We'll see. Okay. Next up, Kendall Long and Blake Moines
- 9:23Speaker 2: announced that they are teaming up for a conservation trip
- 9:27Speaker 2: to Madagascar. So we all know that Kendall is like
- 9:30Speaker 2: all about her science facts. She gives cool animal facts
- 9:33Speaker 2: all the time. And then we know that Blake Moins
- 9:36Speaker 2: is basically like he's always been into I don't know,
- 9:40Speaker 2: we do. You know what Blake Moyin said he was.
- 9:42Speaker 2: He was basically a park ranger.
- 9:45Speaker 3: I did not know that.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Oh yeah, so they're teaming up to go to Madagascar
- 9:50Speaker 2: and bring awareness to critically endangered lemur species. That's cool.
- 9:56Speaker 2: That'll be working hands on with the lemur conservation effort.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I did these two ever? I don't They never cross
- 10:05Speaker 2: paths in Bachelor Nation.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Yeah, but you know Bachelor it's like, especially if you're
- 10:10Speaker 3: into lemurs, there's only a small group of Bachelor reality
- 10:13Speaker 3: TV personalities.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Jared just looked up pictures of lemurs. They're kind of adorable,
- 10:17Speaker 2: but they also have very scary eyes.
- 10:19Speaker 3: You know, little babies. Look at those white eyes, especially
- 10:21Speaker 3: with the tongue out.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Would you go to Africa? Uh?
- 10:24Speaker 3: Sure, I mean probably not. I know, I don't want
- 10:28Speaker 3: to go.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Jared doesn't like going outside of his comfort zone whatsoever.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Jared I's like, okay, so.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Forget about Africa.
- 10:35Speaker 2: He doesn't he We went to Boston the other day
- 10:37Speaker 2: and it was like, Jared's like, why are we doing this?
- 10:39Speaker 2: Everything we need in this world is in Rhode Island.
- 10:43Speaker 3: It's not far from the truth, is it.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I am becoming a little bit more like you because
- 10:48Speaker 2: it is like, oh, a pretty water view Rhode Island. Yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 2: there's like a lot there is. Rhode Island does offer
- 10:54Speaker 2: a lot geographically.
- 10:56Speaker 3: If you want a city, sure we go to Providence,
- 10:58Speaker 3: or we could just go to Warwick, go to Root. No,
- 11:00Speaker 3: that going to Bej's target, all in the same plaza.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Chuck e cheese, Tell me what else do you?
- 11:10Speaker 2: Okay?
- 11:10Speaker 3: Wait?
- 11:11Speaker 2: So yeah, Jared just in general, like anything out of
- 11:14Speaker 2: his physical comfort zone. He's actually worse than than me.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I don't know how you got through Paradise because okay,
- 11:19Speaker 2: so let's be honest here. Dean and Kiln are getting married,
- 11:21Speaker 2: and he talked about this with them on Help I
- 11:24Speaker 2: Suck at Beating Newly What It's their podcast together. He
- 11:27Speaker 2: was like, look, you guys, from your imitations to me
- 11:31Speaker 2: exploring what I can about this retreat center. Basically that
- 11:35Speaker 2: you're getting married at this seems all Dean Dean Kaylan is.
- 11:39Speaker 3: The one who's like, I love the resort. I chose
- 11:42Speaker 3: that I begged Dean and then obviously.
- 11:44Speaker 2: She didn't have the beg Dean, but did you did
- 11:46Speaker 2: you did you say like, this seems like I'm concerned
- 11:49Speaker 2: that I'm going to have like internet service at this
- 11:51Speaker 2: retreat center.
- 11:52Speaker 3: No, I didn't say that, but do you feel it? Yes?
- 11:55Speaker 3: I feel it.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Jared loves his conveniences. He's like he needs to have
- 12:01Speaker 2: a strip mall within ten minutes of where he is.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I can't deny. I can't deny that that is my
- 12:08Speaker 2: preference as well. Bachelor of Thumb Sarah Herron marries Dylan
- 12:13Speaker 2: Brown an intimate Grand Canyon ceremony. So she was really
- 12:18Speaker 2: open about the fact that they were going to go
- 12:20Speaker 2: on this trip to the Grand Canyon and they were
- 12:22Speaker 2: going to get married. And then like a week after
- 12:24Speaker 2: I was realizing I was like, oh my god, I
- 12:26Speaker 2: haven't seen pictures yet. So she kind of went off
- 12:28Speaker 2: the grid for a little while and she just posted
- 12:30Speaker 2: a couple cute reels and the photos of them getting married.
- 12:34Speaker 2: There's very few people in attendance. It was kind of
- 12:36Speaker 2: like obviously en elopement and she basically she wore a
- 12:41Speaker 2: wrinkly white dress. It was all very cute, but it
- 12:43Speaker 2: was all very Sarah because she she loves being immersed
- 12:47Speaker 2: in nature and she likes she just likes the earthy,
- 12:51Speaker 2: the you know, the earthy, simple things. And they were
- 12:55Speaker 2: just adorable. And they've had quite the year. If these
- 12:58Speaker 2: two can make it through what they have gone through,
- 13:01Speaker 2: they can make it through anything. As you know, they
- 13:04Speaker 2: lost their baby at about twenty weeks and yeah, so
- 13:10Speaker 2: they did it. They did it on August twenty seventh,
- 13:14Speaker 2: at miles seventy five on the Colorado River, standing on
- 13:19Speaker 2: hot granite, wearing a wrinkly dress. And she said it
- 13:22Speaker 2: was granted.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Why is that so specific?
- 13:24Speaker 2: The barefoot assuming? So is this like barefoot barefoot ceremony?
- 13:32Speaker 3: Man, that's a bonding moment right there.
- 13:34Speaker 2: And then there is a picture on her Instagram it
- 13:37Speaker 2: says just married and the sign is attached to a
- 13:40Speaker 2: little river boat. Yeah, so cute.
- 13:45Speaker 3: That is really cute. I mean, very happy for Sarah.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Sarah we met I think I'm maybe I can't remember
- 13:52Speaker 3: if I met before Paradise, but she was on a
- 13:54Speaker 3: second season of Paradise and so sweet, just a really
- 13:58Speaker 3: really sweet soul.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I'm so glad she like found her happily and her effort.
- 14:02Speaker 2: That's also what she posted about on Instagram, just like
- 14:06Speaker 2: stepping out of the limo and like her journey of
- 14:08Speaker 2: love that continued after that. Well, this is really sad
- 14:12Speaker 2: and a really awful news. Yes, I'm so sorry that
- 14:15Speaker 2: we even have to discuss this. But Amanda Kaylor, who
- 14:20Speaker 2: was Eric? What is how do you say Eric's last name?
- 14:24Speaker 2: I don't know Eric, but you Gabby's Eric. She has
- 14:29Speaker 2: passed away at the age of twenty seven. It was
- 14:34Speaker 2: a suicide. The worst part about this is that she's
- 14:37Speaker 2: a single mom to a young a young child. I think, yeah,
- 14:42Speaker 2: he was born in twenty twenty.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Three years old. Yeah, is do we know if Eric
- 14:46Speaker 3: is the father?
- 14:47Speaker 2: No, Eric's not the father. So her story and how
- 14:51Speaker 2: it relates to the Bachelor is that if you guys
- 14:53Speaker 2: remember Eric was caught on Gabby's season, well not like
- 14:57Speaker 2: wall Gabby season was airing, there were headlines about how
- 15:02Speaker 2: he was dating Amanda prior to going on the show,
- 15:06Speaker 2: like very very recently to going on the show. They
- 15:09Speaker 2: started dating in January of that year, and then he
- 15:12Speaker 2: started filming in March of that year. So after what
- 15:16Speaker 2: she says was a WorldWind romance. She told Reality Steve
- 15:21Speaker 2: in an interview in September of last year all the details,
- 15:25Speaker 2: but basically she said that they had quite the romance.
- 15:29Speaker 2: And then he said, hey, I'm like, you know, in
- 15:32Speaker 2: March before he would go on the show, like very
- 15:35Speaker 2: soon before he could go on the show, he said, like,
- 15:38Speaker 2: I'm stuck in this career that I'm not happy with.
- 15:40Speaker 2: I need a big change in my life, and like
- 15:41Speaker 2: going on The Bachelor can like possibly bring me that.
- 15:45Speaker 2: And then a couple weeks later, like I feel like
- 15:50Speaker 2: maybe the day that he got his phone taken away
- 15:54Speaker 2: possibly like really close to them filming, he sent her
- 15:58Speaker 2: flowers and also sent her a text saying like this
- 16:01Speaker 2: is this was a mistake. I hope that like we
- 16:04Speaker 2: can see each other when I'm out of this and yeah,
- 16:11Speaker 2: and that's and then he ended up getting getting engaged
- 16:14Speaker 2: to Gabby, and obviously I don't think she heard from
- 16:17Speaker 2: him afterward, but that's obviously just her horrible horrible news.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Yeah, just tragic news. Obviously, our thoughts are with uh,
- 16:28Speaker 3: specifically the Sun. You know, he's born January twenty sixth,
- 16:32Speaker 3: twenty twenty, so he's two years, two years old than
- 16:36Speaker 3: Dawson and a half. I can't imagine. Obviously, I thought's
- 16:42Speaker 3: go to the entire family that's being affected by this
- 16:45Speaker 3: and friends, but specifically the Sun, because I can't imagine she.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Was already a single mom, you know, so like we
- 16:53Speaker 2: don't even know how much the dad was involved in
- 16:55Speaker 2: his life.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I can only hope that the family is really
- 16:58Speaker 3: rallying together to this point to ensure that he is
- 17:01Speaker 3: in the best hands possible, which I'm sure they are.
- 17:04Speaker 3: But just tragic, sad news all around. I mean, there's
- 17:06Speaker 3: nothing else to be said about that except just horrible,
- 17:09Speaker 3: absolutely horrible.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Bachelor Nations Blake Hortzman is sick of Team Caitlin or
- 17:25Speaker 2: Team Jason after their recent split.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Yeah, but is he Team Jason or Team Kaitlyn, like
- 17:31Speaker 3: we want to know.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I think he's pretty close to both of them. So
- 17:34Speaker 2: he said, all right, I'm ready, I'm already sick of
- 17:37Speaker 2: this BS. He wrote those O on an instant story.
- 17:40Speaker 2: There are no teams. These are two friends of mine
- 17:42Speaker 2: who gave everything they had to a relationship that didn't work.
- 17:48Speaker 2: He also said, like, I think you think you are helping,
- 17:53Speaker 2: but you're not helping either of them by sliding into
- 17:56Speaker 2: DMS or attacking people in the comments section. Let them
- 17:59Speaker 2: heal on their own. They don't need your help. And
- 18:02Speaker 2: I think we can like echo those sediments. I mean,
- 18:06Speaker 2: I also think that these like two have it seems
- 18:10Speaker 2: amily amicably split. They just wasn't working for either one
- 18:15Speaker 2: of them. It seems like they're like on It's obviously hard,
- 18:19Speaker 2: but I do think that they're on good terms.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Yeah, it seems like the breakup in Seinfeld where Jerry
- 18:24Speaker 3: has the first ever level playing breakup where it wasn't
- 18:29Speaker 3: one side or the other, they both just look at
- 18:31Speaker 3: each other like I hate you. That's great, all right,
- 18:34Speaker 3: I have a good life.
- 18:34Speaker 2: See way to bring love in each of this man.
- 18:36Speaker 2: But I I A they're definitely both going through it,
- 18:42Speaker 2: and I just really think that this was something like
- 18:44Speaker 2: I just there's nothing they're not even putting anything bad
- 18:47Speaker 2: about each other out there. That's another reason that, like
- 18:50Speaker 2: you just know, like there's so much love and respect there,
- 18:52Speaker 2: so like, why would you pick a team if there's
- 18:55Speaker 2: just obviously not one person who did any wrong.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Yeah, we're also talking about people who are constantly commenting
- 19:03Speaker 3: on social media. Of course, everybody who's doing this is
- 19:07Speaker 3: just saying stupid stuff, even though there's a lot of
- 19:10Speaker 3: wonderfulness on social media. You know, we have a lot
- 19:15Speaker 3: of comments sometimes about us or Dawson that are very
- 19:18Speaker 3: positive and they make us feel fantastic. Yeah, but of
- 19:20Speaker 3: course there's a lot of dumb stuff too. That's just
- 19:22Speaker 3: what happens. It's the Internet. So I think, of course
- 19:24Speaker 3: there's gonna be people going at Blake being like, bro,
- 19:26Speaker 3: you can't be friends with Kaitlyn anymore. You got to
- 19:28Speaker 3: be team Jason or being like, hey, you should stick
- 19:31Speaker 3: with Kaitlyn. She needs you more right now than Jason does.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Just what's gonna happen? People suck. It's quite all right,
- 19:38Speaker 3: that's my opinion on it right there. Yeah, So what
- 19:42Speaker 3: team are you on? Team Kaitlyn or t Jason.
- 19:45Speaker 2: I am not on anyone's team. That's the correct answer,
- 19:50Speaker 2: Will's Adams confesses that Bachelor Paradise ripped off Love Island.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Now listen, I get what he's saying. Here. He goes
- 20:00Speaker 2: every season on Love Island basically they split the girls
- 20:02Speaker 2: from the guys, and then in season eight a Bachelor
- 20:04Speaker 2: in Paradise. Last season they split the girl from the guys.
- 20:06Speaker 2: They brought the girls over to Vendonza, and then Wells goes, well,
- 20:11Speaker 2: guess what, no one's making news anymore. It's like everybody's
- 20:15Speaker 2: kind of copying each other. Like you know, Bachelor in
- 20:18Speaker 2: Paradise was kind of the first really popular season's long
- 20:23Speaker 2: show where people are like dating in a tropical area,
- 20:26Speaker 2: and then Love Island came along and it's huge now too.
- 20:30Speaker 2: So in a way, it's kind of like Love Island
- 20:33Speaker 2: ripped off Bachelor in Paradise. But you just told me
- 20:36Speaker 2: off the record that you think people are making news.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Uh yeah, I think people rip people off. I think
- 20:43Speaker 3: people are making new stuff. I think it happens all
- 20:45Speaker 3: the time. I mean, how long how old is Love
- 20:47Speaker 3: is Blind? Two? Three years?
- 20:49Speaker 2: I would say it's maybe four years now?
- 20:51Speaker 3: Four All right, off, time flies by. But anyway, that
- 20:54Speaker 3: felt very new and fresh when it came out, and
- 20:56Speaker 3: that was only four years ago. And then what else
- 20:58Speaker 3: is uh? I mean, we're about to watch a seventy
- 21:01Speaker 3: year old bachelor.
- 21:02Speaker 2: No, yeah, good point, bet.
- 21:04Speaker 3: So I mean I think that there is being new stuff,
- 21:07Speaker 3: but I also I think it's both. I think there
- 21:09Speaker 3: are people who rip other people off because what's good
- 21:12Speaker 3: for McDonald's is good for a bird king. But at
- 21:16Speaker 3: the same time, I think there's new stuff as well.
- 21:18Speaker 3: So it's just like, there's only so much you could
- 21:21Speaker 3: do with having people dat in a tropical location that's
- 21:24Speaker 3: different than the other show.
- 21:25Speaker 2: That's so true.
- 21:27Speaker 3: It's like, oh, well it's about love and we're at
- 21:29Speaker 3: a beach, and so you can like, well, this one's
- 21:32Speaker 3: about money and this one's about engagement or this one
- 21:34Speaker 3: blah blah blah blah blah. But yeah, it's all going
- 21:36Speaker 3: to be kind of similar concept. I didn't even think
- 21:38Speaker 3: about Love Island honestly when they did that thing last year.
- 21:41Speaker 3: But also I don't.
- 21:42Speaker 2: But you also never seen Love Island, I know, and
- 21:45Speaker 2: I have all been on around for it's been around
- 21:48Speaker 2: for quite some time. I couldn't get past episode one.
- 21:51Speaker 2: I guess I was watching the UK version, which I
- 21:53Speaker 2: think is the original. I heard that's good and it
- 21:56Speaker 2: was so effing trashy I could not continue. I watched
- 22:00Speaker 2: one episode. Babe, Remember I told you that was the
- 22:02Speaker 2: guy who like said he had slept with four hundred women,
- 22:04Speaker 2: And I was like, I don't want to watch this.
- 22:06Speaker 3: I mean, that is impressive and disgusting.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Okay, thank you. I knew that you were gonna say
- 22:12Speaker 2: disgusting and then you added impressive because you didn't want
- 22:15Speaker 2: to be super gudgic.
- 22:16Speaker 3: It's like, my god, the energy that man must have.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Yeah, like every night you have to go out and
- 22:20Speaker 2: like find someone.
- 22:23Speaker 3: How old he was? I want to do the math
- 22:24Speaker 3: on that when he lost his virginity, Like how many
- 22:27Speaker 3: does the average a year?
- 22:28Speaker 2: I don't know. Sounds like a job, Okay. New headline
- 22:34Speaker 2: Rodney Matthews hard launches with new girlfriend Ari, calling her
- 22:40Speaker 2: the love of his life. So wow, wait wait, wait,
- 22:44Speaker 2: why do you don't like that?
- 22:45Speaker 3: I'm just I hoped. I hope that they've been dating
- 22:49Speaker 3: for a very long time and this is a very secure,
- 22:52Speaker 3: stable relationship because Rodney's a very nice guy. But saying
- 22:57Speaker 3: he's loved that, like this person is the love of
- 22:59Speaker 3: his life. I hope it's not like two months in
- 23:02Speaker 3: you know what I mean. I hope it's like, oh,
- 23:04Speaker 3: we've been together for like six to eight months and
- 23:06Speaker 3: this is feeling really good.
- 23:07Speaker 2: We actually don't know how long they've been together, but
- 23:11Speaker 2: he did post just this week quick life update, the
- 23:14Speaker 2: happiest I've ever.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Been good for him.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and there was a video and he wrote, the
- 23:20Speaker 2: first night I met the love of my life, a
- 23:22Speaker 2: night I'll never forget. Her name is Ari. We don't
- 23:28Speaker 2: know much more about her, but Bachelor Nation is very
- 23:31Speaker 2: happy to see the two of them together. We had
- 23:34Speaker 2: comments from Nate and Serene and Susie Evans and Mike Johnson. Interestingly,
- 23:40Speaker 2: Andrew also Hard launched this week at Joe Instagrena's weir.
- 23:47Speaker 2: And these two are bros, Bros, Bros.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Just Dayton, Just Dayton and Fine in love, Fine and love.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Bro's fine and love. Good for that to wrap.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Up, this podcast is fun. This is fun, little tidbit fun.
- 24:00Speaker 3: That's what we do here. We do fun things, guys.
- 24:04Speaker 3: We're about fun.
- 24:05Speaker 2: So Dylan Barber and Hannah they're just of course we
- 24:09Speaker 2: got married, they got married, we broke down their wedding.
- 24:11Speaker 3: And forget that wedding.
- 24:12Speaker 2: I know, it's like that thing. That wedding is like
- 24:15Speaker 2: hurt the competition to our wedding.
- 24:17Speaker 3: I got news for you. It probably blew us out
- 24:19Speaker 3: of the water. Our wedding is amazing and beautiful, and
- 24:22Speaker 3: there's so many weddings within Bachelor Nation. But like if
- 24:25Speaker 3: you have a wedding like that in France with fireworks.
- 24:29Speaker 2: The fireworks show was twenty minutes.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Twenty minutes. Yeah, we talked about it. Help we so
- 24:33Speaker 3: I could be news. How much do you think that
- 24:35Speaker 3: wedding costs had at least a million?
- 24:41Speaker 2: Well, it just depends on what the trades were. But
- 24:43Speaker 2: also it depends on what the the what the what
- 24:47Speaker 2: is it called? Like between the US dollar and the
- 24:50Speaker 2: France doll and like the euro.
- 24:53Speaker 3: I can't imagine that's they had a twenty minute fireworks show.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Yeah, and people who did our flowers did they did theirs,
- 25:04Speaker 2: and well we got a nice deal. And I'm sure
- 25:06Speaker 2: they got a nice deal anyway, So they went to
- 25:11Speaker 2: they went to the Maldives on their honeymoon, and on
- 25:14Speaker 2: the last day of their honeymoon, which was over a
- 25:16Speaker 2: week long, close to two weeks long, I think they
- 25:21Speaker 2: did this funny reel where it was like, oh, what
- 25:23Speaker 2: you think that your honeymoon would look like with the
- 25:25Speaker 2: last day of your honeymoon would look like super romantic,
- 25:27Speaker 2: like dancing under the stars. And then what like your
- 25:30Speaker 2: last day of your honeymoon really was? And it was
- 25:32Speaker 2: Dylan trying to break the world record in dim sum eating,
- 25:37Speaker 2: so he would need to eat thirty one dim sums
- 25:42Speaker 2: is how much you call it? A dim sum, like
- 25:43Speaker 2: a dim sum, like a dumpling, dim sum, dumpling in
- 25:47Speaker 2: two minutes. He said that the whole result was going
- 25:51Speaker 2: to come to watch. Let's go. Do you think I
- 25:53Speaker 2: can do it? And then Hannah said yes, one million percent.
- 25:57Speaker 2: And then Hannah and Dylan arrive at the restaurant and
- 25:59Speaker 2: the staff was waiting there ready to watch Dylan attempt
- 26:02Speaker 2: to break the record. And he says the staff it
- 26:07Speaker 2: has totally hooked them up with thirty two dim sum
- 26:09Speaker 2: dumplings waiting for them. When they got there, he was
- 26:13Speaker 2: a little nervous because the entire resort showed up, and
- 26:16Speaker 2: he goes, the second I started, I realized there was
- 26:18Speaker 2: absolutely no chance I was gonna be able to do this.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I almost threw up in like five dim sums in
- 26:24Speaker 2: it was pretty impossible. I don't know how the winner
- 26:27Speaker 2: of this world record has ever done this. I'm not
- 26:29Speaker 2: a quitter, so I decided to keep trying to find
- 26:32Speaker 2: some random world records to try to beat once he
- 26:35Speaker 2: gets home.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Fantastic.
- 26:38Speaker 2: You would never be able to do.
- 26:40Speaker 3: This sounds like a choking hazard.
- 26:43Speaker 2: It does. It really really does, because.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Those dim sums what's in the middle of them?
- 26:47Speaker 2: Beef?
- 26:47Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's like it's not a meatball, but.
- 26:51Speaker 2: And how chewy? Yeah? The the what is the dumpling?
- 26:56Speaker 2: Shit casing is just.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Yeah, everything about this don't like it. Dylan survives.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, Well that's that. We appreciate you guys
- 27:05Speaker 2: being here, and again tomorrow we'll have Raven Gates on.
- 27:07Speaker 2: I'm so excited for that conversation. Until next time, I've
- 27:11Speaker 2: been Ashley, I've been mister Ashley perfect. Bye.
