- 1:16Speaker 3: You're going all good?
- 1:18Speaker 1: Yeah, man, I'm yeah, yeah, No, I'm going good, brother,
- 1:22Speaker 1: And no doubt, by the end of this three hour
- 1:24Speaker 1: period we will be warmed up, our chemistry will be missing,
- 1:27Speaker 1: and of course the listeners too will be able to
- 1:29Speaker 1: wrap their ears around some of the Big Show's greatest hurts.
- 1:32Speaker 1: What have you coming up there, Pugshan, what's happening on
- 1:38Speaker 1: the Big Show with old tags?
- 1:42Speaker 3: I'm bringing back one of the most requested segments on
- 1:46Speaker 3: the show. Really, it got made redundant, maybe like four
- 1:51Speaker 3: years ago now, and it's about bloody time. Every live
- 1:54Speaker 3: show we go to they say, can you bring it back?
- 1:57Speaker 3: Can I bring it on back? Can I guess?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Can I guess what it is? I think it's either
- 2:02Speaker 1: is it chat chat?
- 2:04Speaker 4: Good? Chat chat?
- 2:05Speaker 3: Is it?
- 2:05Speaker 4: Oh my god?
- 2:07Speaker 3: I thought it was time.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Man, we got to kick off with a bang. You
- 2:09Speaker 1: know the people want shit chat. It's got to be
- 2:14Speaker 1: absolutely thrilled. You're telling me that. Every single time we
- 2:17Speaker 1: do a live show, someone comes up and asks if
- 2:19Speaker 1: you could do the sigmaz? What on my life?
- 2:22Speaker 3: Okay, it's either it's at the live show or it's
- 2:24Speaker 3: in the Hockey Big Show Instagram, DMS. I'm getting requests
- 2:27Speaker 3: for people from people to bring back chat Chat.
- 2:30Speaker 1: So here we are, man, this is that. This is
- 2:31Speaker 1: what you ask for, Man, I'm looking forward to it, Pugs.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Hopefully it'll remind me of why we guess that segment
- 2:36Speaker 1: in the first place. Well, also, we've got another opportunity
- 2:40Speaker 1: to get yourself from the drawer to join us in
- 2:41Speaker 1: Wellington for beer, Varna, flights and accommodation. Listen out for
- 2:44Speaker 1: the qu to call Reeburg of ourchers galore, and of
- 2:47Speaker 1: course today's Daily Goat match up. Yesterday, the Daily Goat Matchup,
- 2:52Speaker 1: of course celebrating the Goat, which kicks off on Monday,
- 2:54Speaker 1: was our greatest of all time. Love songs, Pugs, what
- 2:58Speaker 1: is what is today's theme? Today's theme?
- 3:00Speaker 3: Well, yesterday I was pretty subdued and romantic and honestly
- 3:03Speaker 3: pretty erotic. So today I thought we'd pump it up
- 3:06Speaker 3: a notch and go our wrestling entrance songs.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so if we were to enter the ring
- 3:11Speaker 1: and WW what song would play? If anyone's got any
- 3:14Speaker 1: good suggestions, give us a text on three, four eight
- 3:17Speaker 1: three the bedtime, it's rips of uneshugs. Yeah, let's go
- 3:22Speaker 1: into the stone age.
- 3:23Speaker 5: I don't know, man, Yeah, you do The Hierarchy Big
- 3:27Speaker 5: Show week days from four on Radio Hot.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Thursday afternoon on The Hidicky Big Show. But a vervepipe
- 3:32Speaker 1: for you there, Keezy and Pugs with you. Another best
- 3:35Speaker 1: of the Big Show moment. And as I said before,
- 3:37Speaker 1: this is one of the most requested segments that we
- 3:40Speaker 1: put away up on a very high shelf at the
- 3:42Speaker 1: request of our boss. But I'm bringing it back for
- 3:45Speaker 1: you for one time only. This is the Hidaky Big
- 3:48Speaker 1: Show shit Chet from twenty twenty two.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Oh god.
- 3:51Speaker 2: The previous voice break, we were talking about our gym
- 3:55Speaker 2: workouts there, Mike, Mianog, you and I we're doing some
- 4:00Speaker 2: serious weights. Yeah, there's no question about that. You've had
- 4:03Speaker 2: a bit of a blow Well, you haven't had a
- 4:04Speaker 2: blow out, you're just a bit sore.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I've had.
- 4:07Speaker 2: I had a bit of a blow out in the
- 4:08Speaker 2: old neck there, which actually begs the question, when was
- 4:11Speaker 2: the last time you shot yourself?
- 4:14Speaker 6: Yeah, well, the prolapsed anus that I had as a
- 4:19Speaker 6: result of the league press and I just gave it
- 4:22Speaker 6: too much that was touching cloth.
- 4:27Speaker 4: No, no, so you lie down on your back sort
- 4:29Speaker 4: of thing. Oh yeah, you're pushing a way away from you.
- 4:32Speaker 4: But yeah I sort of got a bit.
- 4:34Speaker 6: Yeah I got a bit squashed there, but genuinely my
- 4:39Speaker 6: pant you're saying shit.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, would have been recently.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:45Speaker 6: You never go that long, Never go that long. I
- 4:47Speaker 6: don't like to go too long without shading myself.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 4:52Speaker 4: It just it keeps you real, you gets you down
- 4:54Speaker 4: to this.
- 4:54Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, what kind of you know up them
- 4:56Speaker 6: cell pompous, arrogant goose goes around with clean Andy's twenty
- 5:00Speaker 6: four seven.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Know what I'm saying.
- 5:02Speaker 2: It feels like you've you know, you've done a proper workout,
- 5:05Speaker 2: doesn't it? It does seriously for me. Last time I
- 5:09Speaker 2: shut myself it was GM related in the sauna. Oh yeah,
- 5:12Speaker 2: because you get so you know, when you're doing those
- 5:14Speaker 2: sort of weights, you get very relaxed, you know what
- 5:18Speaker 2: I mean? And I just totally unwound and then bo douge?
- 5:21Speaker 4: Did do? Did do?
- 5:23Speaker 2: Was that the noise of it in the Fortunately I
- 5:25Speaker 2: was wearing a towel, which caught my what about you keys?
- 5:29Speaker 2: Even when was the last time you ship yourself.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Is this really what we're Okay, it's going to be
- 5:36Speaker 1: over fifteen years ago, longer twenty years ago.
- 5:39Speaker 4: I look, if you're gonna lie about it, there's no point.
- 5:41Speaker 4: What do you mean.
- 5:43Speaker 6: You're you're not going to be honest about to make
- 5:46Speaker 6: what we're here as you know, as men trying to
- 5:48Speaker 6: create an open dialogue.
- 5:50Speaker 4: You know, men have got to be more honest. Keys,
- 5:52Speaker 4: And if you're just going to bullshit this.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Yeah, well there's no point his name point, But how
- 5:56Speaker 2: do you know? I know that if I if I
- 5:59Speaker 2: went to the text machine three four eight three, we
- 6:00Speaker 2: get some honesty there, you know what I mean? But
- 6:02Speaker 2: fifteen twenty years ago, well.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I didn't realize I was supposed to prove myself so often.
- 6:07Speaker 4: Are you telling me you share yourself when you're fifteen.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Now, it would have been oh here we go.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, interesting.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Probably I don't know, because that's right you were saying
- 6:18Speaker 2: when you were primary school and stuff. That was the
- 6:23Speaker 2: old shitter keys.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Yeah, poopy, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I can see while
- 6:28Speaker 1: we get rid of that segment, pug Son, you know
- 6:30Speaker 1: what last lastly back to it?
- 6:32Speaker 3: Yeah, letsten back. I also kind of get it. But
- 6:35Speaker 3: at the same time, you know what you got to
- 6:37Speaker 3: You've got to give the people what they want. Man, Well,
- 6:38Speaker 3: let us know three four eight three was that great content?
- 6:41Speaker 1: Or should it be put back into the storage cupboard
- 6:43Speaker 1: never to see the light of day ever again? Shat
- 6:45Speaker 1: chat great shout.
- 6:46Speaker 3: If we get heaps of texts, we might read something
- 6:48Speaker 3: out and also everyone on the drawer for a fifty
- 6:50Speaker 3: to rebiog year.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Actually we want to hear from you good stuff, pug Son.
- 6:55Speaker 1: This seriously, this is an epic shune valve? Is this slither?
- 7:01Speaker 3: Yeah? Wasn't this one of your throbers quite recent?
- 7:04Speaker 7: Yeah? Yeah?
- 7:08Speaker 5: The hold Aking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 7:11Speaker 5: Tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Hod Acual Link two on the Huducky Big Show Thursday
- 7:16Speaker 1: afternoon with Keezy and Pugshan.
- 7:18Speaker 4: The Daily Goat Red May CAZy O p.
- 7:26Speaker 1: That's right, The Daily Goat celebrating and getting fizzed up
- 7:29Speaker 1: for the fact that the greatest of all time countdown
- 7:31Speaker 1: is just a few days away. It gets underway eight
- 7:33Speaker 1: am August seventeenth. Still plenty of time to vote. Text
- 7:36Speaker 1: the word goat right now to three four eight three
- 7:37Speaker 1: follow the link. You can also hit the haduky dot
- 7:40Speaker 1: co dot m zid now. Yesterday's Daily Goat, it was
- 7:43Speaker 1: Pugs and Me going here to hear putting forward our
- 7:46Speaker 1: greatest of all time love songs, wasn't it, Pugs?
- 7:48Speaker 3: That's exactly right, Kezy and I've got the pole results
- 7:51Speaker 3: right here.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Okay, So do you want to hear what the winner was?
- 7:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 7:54Speaker 1: Had me? Who was the winner?
- 7:55Speaker 3: The Goats the Goat love song? Ah Green, that's right, man,
- 8:02Speaker 3: And that's mishal right there.
- 8:04Speaker 1: That is a post special. I love that song. It's
- 8:10Speaker 1: actually that's a fun fact about the big shows. I
- 8:12Speaker 1: think all four members really love that song. I what
- 8:14Speaker 1: I'll say to you is that was our closest poll
- 8:16Speaker 1: maybe ever. It was literally a five percent difference. Wow, Okay,
- 8:19Speaker 1: I went Barry White, so to lose out for Barry
- 8:22Speaker 1: White to lose, I went more sixy yeah, Whereas I
- 8:25Speaker 1: feel like that our green song is sixy but can
- 8:27Speaker 1: also be a love song, whereas Barry White's just straight
- 8:29Speaker 1: up on the nose. You know you know what, man,
- 8:31Speaker 1: maybe Nick some if we do goat sixy song, you
- 8:33Speaker 1: can pick that one. I will, I will, indeed, no,
- 8:36Speaker 1: I usually go song two by Blur that's real sixy Yeah,
- 8:40Speaker 1: it's also a minute fifty long. Okay, So today's today's
- 8:45Speaker 1: great daily goat head to hit. The theme is wrestling
- 8:49Speaker 1: entrance songs. We asked people to tix through on three
- 8:52Speaker 1: four eight three. If they were wrestlers and they had
- 8:54Speaker 1: to choose the song, what would the song be? Just
- 8:57Speaker 1: look at the text machine now, pugs, it's all go
- 8:59Speaker 1: a lot of people in the drawer for fifty dollars
- 9:01Speaker 1: with the reburger. James ticks through walk by pan Terra.
- 9:04Speaker 1: But I wouldn't walk. I'd sprint out at full speed.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's terrifying.
- 9:11Speaker 1: That is terrifying. This bit here and then boom, just
- 9:16Speaker 1: sprint out full speed. There's straight to the ring.
- 9:19Speaker 3: That's the right kind of song with the right kind
- 9:21Speaker 3: of build up for a wrestling entrance.
- 9:23Speaker 2: It is.
- 9:24Speaker 1: You'd have to really back it up though, you know
- 9:27Speaker 1: it's it's a real statement. Absolutely, here's a great text
- 9:30Speaker 1: on three four eight three. I don't have a nomination
- 9:32Speaker 1: for myself, but I've got one for Hoidi j he
- 9:34Speaker 1: should come out to gravel Pit And that's from ta
- 9:37Speaker 1: I've watched from the land of the looks behold the
- 9:39Speaker 1: fair Horse.
- 9:42Speaker 3: If you've ever been on the hot Achi Big Show
- 9:43Speaker 3: and Swer and you've seen clips of Jace dancing, it's
- 9:46Speaker 3: usually to this tempo. You know, he does that like
- 9:48Speaker 3: weird hand wavy thing.
- 9:51Speaker 1: He's a big Wu tan guy, and I love the
- 9:53Speaker 1: idea of Wu Tan playing and then Hoidi j running
- 9:56Speaker 1: out his you know, five of his steps equaling the
- 9:59Speaker 1: same amount of stif that a regular man would take
- 10:02Speaker 1: in his homeman's boots, yeah, and his woman's boots. That's right. Look,
- 10:06Speaker 1: I'll go first today, Okay, yeah, yeah, Now, I am
- 10:09Speaker 1: aware that my goat wrestling entrance song is kind of
- 10:13Speaker 1: similar to a very very famous and well known current wrestler. However,
- 10:19Speaker 1: I don't give a shit because the song rules. It's
- 10:21Speaker 1: by Metallica. Play it, I know, I know.
- 10:27Speaker 3: That's where everybody in the crowd looks to the entrance.
- 10:31Speaker 1: The lights go up. That's right, and here's old kesy
- 10:35Speaker 1: oh Keysy's there.
- 10:36Speaker 4: He's on all fours. He's looking back over his shoulder.
- 10:39Speaker 1: How did he do that so quickly?
- 10:41Speaker 3: Wait?
- 10:41Speaker 4: How's he going to get to the ring?
- 10:43Speaker 1: I'll just crawl down backwards, slowly down the ramp towards
- 10:46Speaker 1: the ground shoulder. That's terrifying. That is for whom the
- 10:50Speaker 1: bell tells. And that is my nomination for the daily
- 10:52Speaker 1: Goat Wrestling entrances.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Very very theatrical choice. Keysy, Well, I've gone for something
- 10:57Speaker 3: that I quite like.
- 10:59Speaker 1: This is Limp Biscuits. Stay your way, mother.
- 11:04Speaker 7: It's just one of those days.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Because that's what I'm gonna do to you when I
- 11:10Speaker 2: get at the ring.
- 11:12Speaker 7: What does it?
- 11:12Speaker 1: Break stuff? Yeah, break stuff on Limp Biscuit. It's an shune.
- 11:16Speaker 3: No matter what you think about Limp Bisket, that song
- 11:17Speaker 3: absolutely rips nus.
- 11:20Speaker 1: It does once again. Both of those songs are huge
- 11:23Speaker 1: tunes and we bit of back it up when it
- 11:25Speaker 1: comes time to throw it down in the ring. Watch
- 11:27Speaker 1: one Do you prefer? Text us three four eight three
- 11:29Speaker 1: every text and the draw fifty bucks Reburger The.
- 11:31Speaker 5: Hdiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune in
- 11:35Speaker 5: week days at four on Radio hold ikon.
- 11:37Speaker 1: It's the Hidarchy Big Show, Oasis wonder Wolf for Thursday afternoon.
- 11:40Speaker 1: You've got Kezy in Pugs Full Show back together Monday
- 11:43Speaker 1: and the Goat Countdown gets underway then as well. But
- 11:46Speaker 1: in the meantime, Caezy, we are diving deep, deep into
- 11:50Speaker 1: the archives here of the Hidarky Big Show.
- 11:52Speaker 3: And just a reminder, you can actually hear every show
- 11:54Speaker 3: the Fellers have ever done. So you can hear this
- 11:55Speaker 3: stuff for yourself by searching a Hodaky Big Show where
- 11:58Speaker 3: you get your podcasts from.
- 11:59Speaker 4: But this nigs.
- 12:00Speaker 3: But look we're getting what are we eight months into
- 12:03Speaker 3: the year now, it's probably time to start thinking about
- 12:04Speaker 3: your summer board. And this time two years ago on
- 12:07Speaker 3: the Hodocky Big Show, Hoody Jay was doing exactly that, you.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Know, Fellas. I look outside and it's a beautiful day
- 12:13Speaker 2: here in Auckland City and hopefully it's like that around
- 12:15Speaker 2: the country, and of.
- 12:16Speaker 4: Course except it's raining there.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Well it will be let's be honest, with windy airs
- 12:21Speaker 2: and you'll be freezing your arself. It'll be gray and
- 12:24Speaker 2: dismal walking the streets, just going why am I living here?
- 12:28Speaker 4: This is just hell on earth?
- 12:30Speaker 2: Sorry, but I don't know about you, guys. What I
- 12:34Speaker 2: know about you, Maggie because I I'm sitting here in
- 12:38Speaker 2: the studio looking across at you and your magnificent tight
- 12:40Speaker 2: white T shirt. You've just had a bowl of rice
- 12:43Speaker 2: and a boneless breast with no skin on as opposed
- 12:48Speaker 2: to a breast with boone bony breast. They call it
- 12:52Speaker 2: piece of checking out. I know you're back on the
- 12:53Speaker 2: fitness Campaignram, You've got rid of the daries, You've got
- 12:57Speaker 2: rid of the booze, You're going hard and you go.
- 12:59Speaker 2: I'm in the same frame of mind because I look
- 13:01Speaker 2: at that beautiful weather and I.
- 13:02Speaker 4: Think summer's coming.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Some's coming, man, And so I've got right back into
- 13:06Speaker 2: my fitness campaign. I downloaded a yoga app today. No,
- 13:12Speaker 2: a yoga app.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's a good right that down. It's a
- 13:16Speaker 4: billion dollar idea that.
- 13:18Speaker 2: You do with a straight back chair, and I'm really
- 13:20Speaker 2: looking forward to hanging in that tomorrow. Also, of course,
- 13:25Speaker 2: I've been going to the gym every day, sometimes twice
- 13:28Speaker 2: a day. One of the things I haven't done because
- 13:30Speaker 2: I need to work on my cardio vascular and so
- 13:33Speaker 2: I went, Jesus, been while since I've been for a run.
- 13:36Speaker 2: So I went for a run today, and boy, what
- 13:38Speaker 2: a rude awakening that was for old hoardia j tim
- 13:42Speaker 2: k in I'm rooted.
- 13:44Speaker 1: How long is sorry? How fun are you usually run?
- 13:46Speaker 1: Because ten k is quite a run.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Back in the like for a Reagan. When I was
- 13:51Speaker 2: doing it regularly, probably twenty five thirty k would be my.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Standy sort of, so you do a half marathon daily.
- 13:57Speaker 2: But yeah, I got to ten k, and I mean
- 13:59Speaker 2: I was part of I mean, I could have probably
- 14:00Speaker 2: gone another four or five, but I was like, oh,
- 14:02Speaker 2: I'm going to have to call it here. And it's like, gee,
- 14:04Speaker 2: this is what happens when you ignore your body for
- 14:08Speaker 2: a long period of time and you you get back
- 14:10Speaker 2: into it.
- 14:11Speaker 4: Yes, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, it's.
- 14:16Speaker 6: It's a different kind of fitness, isn't it. And it
- 14:17Speaker 6: takes you a while to warm back. And how many
- 14:20Speaker 6: minutes are those caves taking you?
- 14:22Speaker 2: Generally four and a half five?
- 14:24Speaker 4: Oh god, that's shocking. Yeah.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Well I just wanted to take it easy because I
- 14:28Speaker 2: had to blow a hamstring or you know, I'm a
- 14:30Speaker 2: bart on my calves or anything like that. It's just
- 14:32Speaker 2: a gentle joe, like I say. But even that gentle
- 14:35Speaker 2: jog I was rooted. Yeah, absolutely rooted.
- 14:38Speaker 1: I're in three k's today. Yeah, And I was quite
- 14:44Speaker 1: tired after that because i'n't been running for a while.
- 14:45Speaker 1: I'm going to have been doing it for the last
- 14:47Speaker 1: the sort of three weeks and I was knacked after
- 14:49Speaker 1: three caves. Right, yeah, So the fact that you can
- 14:52Speaker 1: come straight back into it for how long have you.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Been off it?
- 14:54Speaker 1: Oh?
- 14:54Speaker 4: I haven't run for five six years.
- 14:56Speaker 6: But the thing about Jose's got a natural Runners build
- 15:02Speaker 6: a little bit shorter, you know, natural, that's the truth.
- 15:05Speaker 6: Or the greats are a little bit smaller. Have you
- 15:07Speaker 6: not watch the Olympics, keyzy, you know, great pictoral muscles,
- 15:13Speaker 6: strong upper body, strong arms to really swing them through, right,
- 15:17Speaker 6: massive head, a massive honkre at the front to sort
- 15:21Speaker 6: of cut through the air.
- 15:22Speaker 2: But also you're missing out my massively muscular ass.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's true. Powers through.
- 15:29Speaker 1: No I've seen Joe. I mean I can show you no, no, no,
- 15:32Speaker 1: I've seen everything Jason has to offer. Yeah, I'm portraying
- 15:35Speaker 1: like a you know, a runner like Mo Farrah.
- 15:37Speaker 4: Oh you know what I mean.
- 15:38Speaker 1: And I just feel like he's built very differently to Jason.
- 15:40Speaker 6: Well, I mean I think, yeah, we don't want to
- 15:42Speaker 6: get bogged down and appearance is kezy.
- 15:44Speaker 4: They'll get you in trouble with podcasting standards.
- 15:47Speaker 1: The point I will hang on.
- 15:48Speaker 2: The point I was trying to make was that you know,
- 15:50Speaker 2: I understand that a lot of people are probably going
- 15:53Speaker 2: through this process themselves at the moment he is. I
- 15:55Speaker 2: want to know if people out there on three four
- 15:57Speaker 2: eight three text I sat, leave us a give us
- 16:01Speaker 2: a call. Have you started your campaign to look buff
- 16:05Speaker 2: for some question? What are you doing and what are
- 16:07Speaker 2: you doing with that campaign? Because I'm curious to know.
- 16:10Speaker 6: You're absolutely right, mate, We're only a couple of a
- 16:12Speaker 6: couple of weeks away from spring, and once you're in spring,
- 16:15Speaker 6: you better have a workout regime underway. Otherwise you're in
- 16:17Speaker 6: deep trouble come summer unless you don't care, you know.
- 16:20Speaker 2: And I'm perfectly happy, happy to help people with their campaigns,
- 16:24Speaker 2: you know what I mean, like a mentor. But I'm
- 16:29Speaker 2: going to get back to my mince and cheese pie.
- 16:32Speaker 1: The thing about Jason Pugs is that he bangs on
- 16:35Speaker 1: and on about doing all sorts of gym work, going
- 16:37Speaker 1: for runs, doing shuttle sprints, doing cheer yogat and he
- 16:39Speaker 1: looks exactly the same every single day, no changes. I agree.
- 16:42Speaker 3: I do think he's lying about most of those workouts,
- 16:46Speaker 3: but I know that he's not lying about doing chest
- 16:48Speaker 3: day because those buzzies are consistantly huge.
- 16:51Speaker 1: They are big buzzies on a small frame. And that's
- 16:54Speaker 1: coming from a man like yourself, Pugs. Now, when you
- 16:57Speaker 1: say that, what are you saying? I've got huge buzzies?
- 17:00Speaker 3: What's that?
- 17:00Speaker 1: Is it?
- 17:00Speaker 4: A queue to call?
- 17:03Speaker 5: The hold Arching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 17:05Speaker 5: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Can I get me buddy your beer?

- 17:32Speaker 1: couple of extras to jump in there with us, help
- 17:34Speaker 1: us out, put on a backbone shirt, have a few
- 17:37Speaker 1: brews and then stay for the weekend with free flights
- 17:39Speaker 1: and free accommodation. The kitter callers played Parks, let's go
- 17:42Speaker 1: to the lines, get a cres How are you mad, bastard?
- 17:47Speaker 4: How are you?
- 17:48Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 17:48Speaker 3: Good? Thanks man, Chris?
- 17:49Speaker 4: What do you do for a crust week in education.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Ah, what I'm talking about? What level of education are
- 17:57Speaker 1: we talking there, Chris?
- 17:59Speaker 2: Oh?
- 17:59Speaker 7: Very low level education?
- 18:01Speaker 1: Yeah, in terms of the quality or the agent's heads.
- 18:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:08Speaker 1: And Chris, are you a good team member?
- 18:10Speaker 4: Oh?
- 18:10Speaker 1: Great mate, bloody ripper all right, And if you were
- 18:13Speaker 1: to win this prize, how are you going.

- 18:29Speaker 4: So I'll just put a little esterious.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Yeah, just put it. And also, Chris, just if you
- 18:33Speaker 1: do win, maybe just keep your mum away from pugs at.
- 18:35Speaker 1: You're in the drawer though, mate, So you hold the
- 18:37Speaker 1: line alright, he doesn't have to hold the line, Casy

- 18:46Speaker 1: how are you going, good man yourself?
- 18:49Speaker 4: Yeah?

- 18:59Speaker 4: Do you do for a chrass, Rich, I'm a boider.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Of course, you are your backbone. Do you like beers, Rich?
- 19:07Speaker 2: Yes?
- 19:07Speaker 4: I love them good.
- 19:10Speaker 1: And one last question. If you win this prize down
- 19:12Speaker 1: to Wallington Flights accommodation, joining the crew for a couple
- 19:14Speaker 1: of days made it Beervana. Who would you bring with

- 19:20Speaker 1: bring you You're awful. Good for you, Rich. You are
- 19:23Speaker 1: officially in the drawer, mate, fingers crossed. You hold the line?
- 19:26Speaker 7: All right?
- 19:27Speaker 3: Rich?
- 19:28Speaker 1: Listen, mate, I appreciate the court. You do not have
- 19:30Speaker 1: to hold the line in the drawer. Been a safe
- 19:33Speaker 1: than Sorry. I do not hold the line. Sorry, thanks
- 19:36Speaker 1: for the your funeral, your funeral. I'd hold the line,
- 19:39Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying.
- 19:39Speaker 5: Pugs The Hdiky Big Show with Mike and Key tune
- 19:44Speaker 5: in week days at four on Radio Hodak.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Your division on The Hiducky Big Show Thursday Afternoon with
- 19:49Speaker 1: Keezy and Pugs. It's almost five o'clock. You know what
- 19:52Speaker 1: that means? What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue?
- 20:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:02Speaker 1: Yeah, oh yeah, Pugs.
- 20:04Speaker 4: Hello.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Last night I watched not one episode, but three episodes
- 20:08Speaker 1: in a row, and it was my wife, who was
- 20:10Speaker 1: the one saying we need to keep watching it. The
- 20:12Speaker 1: third season of Australian romantic comedy Colin from Accounts.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Oh, I thought you were going to say outrageous Fortune,
- 20:20Speaker 3: but yeah, you've raved about this one before.
- 20:22Speaker 1: So it's a really great show. It's on TVNS in
- 20:24Speaker 1: plus the half an hour episodes. It's about a guy
- 20:27Speaker 1: and a girl and they accidentally have a bit of
- 20:29Speaker 1: a car crash and the dog gets hurt in the
- 20:32Speaker 1: very first episode, and they adopt the dog together, and
- 20:35Speaker 1: so basically the thing that keeps them together is the
- 20:36Speaker 1: fact that they kind of both injured this dog and
- 20:38Speaker 1: now it's their dog. That's very cute, that sounds very wholesome.
- 20:41Speaker 1: It's super cute. And the dog's name is Colin from Accounts.
- 20:44Speaker 1: That's the name of the TV show.
- 20:45Speaker 3: So ah.
- 20:46Speaker 1: And in real life too, these two people write the show,
- 20:50Speaker 1: the two lead actors, and they are actually married in
- 20:51Speaker 1: real life, which is super cool.
- 20:53Speaker 3: I think that's very cute when you get those really
- 20:55Speaker 3: like and they actually come out decent, these projects that
- 20:57Speaker 3: are a collaboration by a couple.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Yeah, And so first two seasons are really good. The
- 21:03Speaker 1: second season was pretty good. The third season is the
- 21:07Speaker 1: funniest season by far. It is so good. And usually
- 21:11Speaker 1: shows like they start to sort of, you know, taper
- 21:13Speaker 1: off slightly. But the first and second episode of season three,
- 21:18Speaker 1: it was, had some of the funniest stuff I've like,
- 21:20Speaker 1: certainly out of Bossie that I've seen in a long time. Yeah,
- 21:22Speaker 1: very very very good show. It's a good show to
- 21:24Speaker 1: watch with the partner. Half an hour, good laughs, very funny.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Highly recommend Colin from accounts tving Zi plus and I
- 21:32Speaker 1: give honestly, I give that show like four point two
- 21:34Speaker 1: buzzies out of five. It's all really good too. That's
- 21:37Speaker 1: very very highly rated. Well done.
- 21:39Speaker 3: I'm going to find out something good like that, especially
- 21:40Speaker 3: that your wife can enjoy as well. And now I
- 21:43Speaker 3: went to a gig last night, but on the weekend
- 21:46Speaker 3: I got into a franchise. I got into a franchise
- 21:48Speaker 3: that I was really into when I was in high
- 21:50Speaker 3: school and I rewatched them.
- 21:54Speaker 1: What's the anime? One again that you're into something? No,
- 21:58Speaker 1: which one is it? This is the Step Up franchise?
- 22:01Speaker 1: Do you remember those movies? The Step Up, the dancing,
- 22:03Speaker 1: the dancing movies. So when I was like thirteen, all right,
- 22:07Speaker 1: like I had.
- 22:08Speaker 3: I think I had like a step sister that was
- 22:10Speaker 3: like madly into like hip hop and stuff, and she'd
- 22:12Speaker 3: like put me onto all these tunes that they and
- 22:14Speaker 3: then they'd play them in the movies. And my sister
- 22:16Speaker 3: was a fan, and so I got into the Step
- 22:18Speaker 3: Up movies when I was a kid. Right started off really,
- 22:20Speaker 3: so we watched three in a row. So you went
- 22:22Speaker 3: to Step Up to the Streets, Step Up one, Step Up,
- 22:25Speaker 3: Step Up to the Streets, and Step Up three, whatever
- 22:27Speaker 3: the hell it was. Step Up to the Streets is
- 22:30Speaker 3: my favorite because that's got all that like old school
- 22:32Speaker 3: like two thousands kind of production, like the Timberland and
- 22:35Speaker 3: the Loop stuff, and it's honestly pretty pretty dope. It's
- 22:39Speaker 3: pretty dope. But then the third one off a cliff shit. Yeah,
- 22:43Speaker 3: So I gave Step Up a good like three Busy,
- 22:47Speaker 3: Step Up two, three Busies, Step Up three one Buzzy.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Pugs by the way out. Of all the people listening
- 22:55Speaker 1: right now to Radio Hodarchy, what percentage of them do
- 22:57Speaker 1: you think would be interested in your rating of the
- 22:59Speaker 1: Step Up dance movies.
- 23:00Speaker 3: I know that they've got the air right up to
- 23:03Speaker 3: the to the what do you call it?
- 23:04Speaker 1: The wireless, the speaker, Yeah, the wireless. Yeah. If you're
- 23:07Speaker 1: a thousand years old, good work man, watching three.
- 23:13Speaker 3: I was pretty hungover here.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:14Speaker 1: God goes without saying these days, doh. Hey, if you
- 23:18Speaker 1: don't want to watch three terrible movies in a row,
- 23:20Speaker 1: but you'd like to go and see a good movie
- 23:22Speaker 1: at the theater, there is a brand new mystery thriller
- 23:25Speaker 1: from jj Abrams starring you in McGregor and and Hathaway.
- 23:28Speaker 1: It is called The End of Oak Street. You can
- 23:31Speaker 1: jump on YouTube, take a look at the trailer see
- 23:33Speaker 1: if you like it. It's in Cinema's Today. Looks me
- 23:36Speaker 1: it does look it looks great. If you like a
- 23:38Speaker 1: double pass to go and see that, we've got a
- 23:40Speaker 1: few to give away, so just text us on three
- 23:41Speaker 1: four eight three. Let us know who you'd take to
- 23:43Speaker 1: go and see that movie, and it could be yours.
- 23:48Speaker 5: The Hurdichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 23:51Speaker 5: in week days at four on Radio Hodachy.
- 23:54Speaker 1: That's right, it is the Hurdarky Big Show for Thursday,
- 23:56Speaker 1: the thirteenth of August twenty twenty six. You've got Kezy
- 23:59Speaker 1: and Hugs with your full show back on Dick this
- 24:02Speaker 1: coming Monday, can't bloody weight in the meantime, This show
- 24:06Speaker 1: right now and every single show ever brought to you
- 24:08Speaker 1: by the good barstards at Reburger, crave worthy street food,
- 24:11Speaker 1: freshly made at Reburger.
- 24:17Speaker 7: I'm sorry, I I really need help. I just, I
- 24:21Speaker 7: just I think it's really important that everyone knows just
- 24:24Speaker 7: how delicious Raeburger is, because obviously there's stop handcraft and
- 24:29Speaker 7: then like to release load of fries and go my ete.
- 24:32Speaker 7: I just know that fable light and they're changing the
- 24:35Speaker 7: game because it's sad.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Oh god, I hate it when that happens. Reburger delicious. Actually,
- 24:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to Reburger to morrow.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Pugs.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Well, it's an emergency, keezy, so the center to better
- 24:46Speaker 1: put it that way. I'm supposed to be playing golf tomorrow,
- 24:49Speaker 1: but the weather is absolutely terrible. So I was like,
- 24:51Speaker 1: instead of playing eighteen holes of golf and spending like
- 24:53Speaker 1: five hours at the golf course, I'll go to Reburger
- 24:56Speaker 1: and have like a way bit of time. That's right, Yeah,
- 24:59Speaker 1: a way a bit of time. I've been playing five
- 25:01Speaker 1: five hours worth of golf with my mates there. What's
- 25:04Speaker 1: coming up on the show Parks. I understand you'vet another
- 25:06Speaker 1: best of the Big Show moment for us, and it's
- 25:08Speaker 1: quite a pivotal moment in the history of the Big Show.
- 25:11Speaker 1: That's right.
- 25:12Speaker 3: About three years ago we all decided to put the
- 25:15Speaker 3: Honker jokes to rest.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Obviously that hasn't worked out, but back then we thought
- 25:19Speaker 1: that we were going to put it to rest.
- 25:20Speaker 3: And then we decided that we would get an actual
- 25:23Speaker 3: cosmetic surgeon and to measure our noses in the way
- 25:26Speaker 3: that he would before doing a rhinoplasty or whatever. And
- 25:29Speaker 3: so this is the moment before the nose results came out.
- 25:32Speaker 3: We're be getting your productions on three four eight three
- 25:35Speaker 3: on who you thought would have the biggest nose, and
- 25:38Speaker 3: then on tomorrow show, I'll spin back the best bit
- 25:40Speaker 3: of the actual results.
- 25:41Speaker 1: That's right. And also, yeah, well the hang on the
- 25:43Speaker 1: thing about the nose jokes is that it's sort of
- 25:46Speaker 1: permeated throughout the Big Show since it's almost since its inception.
- 25:49Speaker 1: And the reason why it's okay is because myself, mainly,
- 25:53Speaker 1: Mogi and Hoody j massive noses on all three of us. Really, yeah,
- 25:56Speaker 1: so it was just like an open it was just
- 25:59Speaker 1: what's it? It was open season. You could just say
- 26:01Speaker 1: whatever you wanted. If you've got a nose joke, it
- 26:03Speaker 1: was good to go. And I still remember the nervousness
- 26:07Speaker 1: of finding out who had like scientifically the biggest nose yep,
- 26:11Speaker 1: and obviously the relief that it wasn't me. But we'll
- 26:14Speaker 1: play that audio tomorrow. Did you say that specific audio?
- 26:16Speaker 3: So the results tomorrow, but next it'll be part of
- 26:19Speaker 3: that build up in like Pegele's predictions on who they
- 26:21Speaker 3: thought it would be. And also another thing, I'm a
- 26:24Speaker 3: bit worried I'm turning into Hoidy j but we can
- 26:26Speaker 3: get into that a bit later.
- 26:28Speaker 5: The Whodarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 26:31Speaker 5: in week days and four on radio.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Hold on Black Keys on The Hidarky Big Show Thursday
- 26:36Speaker 1: Afternoon with Keezy and Pugsan.
- 26:38Speaker 3: One of the most historic moments in the Big Show's
- 26:41Speaker 3: history was the Great Honker Measuring of twenty and twenty three.
- 26:45Speaker 3: There was a huge anticipation, a big build up and
- 26:48Speaker 3: weeks and weeks of jokes, and so we decided to
- 26:50Speaker 3: get a cosmetic surgeon in. But before that we wanted
- 26:53Speaker 3: to get your predictions on three for eight three of
- 26:56Speaker 3: who in the Big Show has the biggest honker.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Doctor Juline who is a place of Sgio and he
- 27:03Speaker 2: will be doing an official measuring of the Big Show
- 27:06Speaker 2: noses to decide who takes out the coveted title of
- 27:10Speaker 2: biggest schnozz.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Yeah, we're hoping to put this into bed once and
- 27:13Speaker 1: for all, figure out and have definitive proof that yes,
- 27:16Speaker 1: Mogi does have the biggest nose out of all of us.
- 27:18Speaker 1: A lot of texts coming in on three four A
- 27:20Speaker 1: three vibey To be honest, it's just everyone going in
- 27:24Speaker 1: on all three of us.
- 27:25Speaker 4: It has It's all over the show. Yeah, that is
- 27:30Speaker 4: that sort of.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Evenly split the abuse? Or is it is it favoring
- 27:35Speaker 2: one or tother?
- 27:36Speaker 4: Or is it is it pretty even?
- 27:38Speaker 1: No, it is pretty even. Mike has the biggest schnozze
- 27:42Speaker 1: cheers Keezy for sure. Minogue the biggest schnozz for sure.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Hashtag Gonzo Mike Minos Keezy aka Grover.
- 27:54Speaker 2: I haven't heard any haughty jays in there, to be
- 27:57Speaker 2: honest with.
- 27:57Speaker 1: You, Oh you want some haughty j if we're don't
- 27:59Speaker 1: get by volume, surely it's hoity j It's like a
- 28:01Speaker 1: deformed spud happy to.
- 28:06Speaker 4: Tell you what snoid it.
- 28:07Speaker 6: Is, the moving fleshy monolith reported by the astronauts on
- 28:11Speaker 6: the International Space Station.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Are you happy?
- 28:15Speaker 2: Well, I like the fact that mine have got a
- 28:16Speaker 2: bit more detailed, a bit of pinash about.
- 28:18Speaker 1: The per is so big it has its own gravitational pull,
- 28:22Speaker 1: making other noses come closer to him.
- 28:25Speaker 6: Bet Hoities was one of those into the window of
- 28:31Speaker 6: the school bus when he looked out in shame and
- 28:33Speaker 6: the resident bully pushed his head into the wind.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Why was Keesy's nose anoyed at basketball practice? This is
- 28:39Speaker 1: a joke, by the way, Okay, go because it didn't
- 28:42Speaker 1: get picked.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Speaking of basketball, old keys, let's keep it on nose
- 28:48Speaker 2: Easy had a game last night making yeah shambles.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Look, keep the text coming in on three four eight three.
- 28:56Speaker 1: The Ducky big Show, Big Pole is already up and
- 28:59Speaker 1: just quickly to what three minutes? You want a quick update? Sure,
- 29:03Speaker 1: Ja's forty five percent of the vote. Holy hell, Kezy
- 29:07Speaker 1: thirty two that could be like three votes. Mike, you're
- 29:11Speaker 1: coming third on twenty two percent?
- 29:12Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so hardy j looking like the front runner.
- 29:16Speaker 4: Wow, good by, No.
- 29:18Speaker 6: Let me say it is so evening split split on
- 29:22Speaker 6: the on the text machine here, yes, and it's evening
- 29:25Speaker 6: split in the room like it could go anyway.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Do you know what's weird about that is that it's
- 29:29Speaker 1: evenly split, but your facial features aren't, because like fifty
- 29:32Speaker 1: percent of your face's nose.
- 29:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, and that is that is a weird thing.
- 29:35Speaker 6: The only thing weirder than that is that you've chosen
- 29:37Speaker 6: to underline that massive hunger of yours with that patchy
- 29:40Speaker 6: shit house.
- 29:44Speaker 1: I've got to miss this.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Well, we need to we need to get this sort
- 29:47Speaker 2: of really quick. She's bubbling. Now, she's bubbling.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I completely forgot that the whole point of getting the
- 29:53Speaker 1: plastic surgeon and was to stop the nose jokes. They
- 29:56Speaker 1: haven't stopped at all. They've just intensified over the last
- 29:59Speaker 1: three years.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Is Yeah, Well, the point was if we knew who
- 30:02Speaker 3: had the biggest one, then that would take out the
- 30:04Speaker 3: open season playing field, and then it would be one
- 30:07Speaker 3: person that might be vulnerable to it instead of just
- 30:09Speaker 3: shots being fired left, right and center.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know, why stop a good thing? The
- 30:14Speaker 1: nose jokes continued, And I'll tell you why. It's becoming
- 30:17Speaker 1: an integral part of our show. Pugs hey, speaking of
- 30:20Speaker 1: integral parts of our show. Must have a good tune
- 30:22Speaker 1: to go into here, right, Aha, what about some pil
- 30:26Speaker 1: jam b Yeah.
- 30:29Speaker 5: The hold Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Tune in on radio your Daily Goat red Ma CAZy.
- 30:43Speaker 1: That's right, the Daily Goat and the lead up to
- 30:45Speaker 1: the Greatest of All Countdown, which is back here on
- 30:48Speaker 1: radio Hodarchy kicks off Monday eight am. You can still
- 30:51Speaker 1: vote text, so we'd go to three four eight three
- 30:53Speaker 1: follow the link or it's hood uky dot co dot
- 30:56Speaker 1: z Today's Daily Goat. It's where I put forward a song,
- 30:59Speaker 1: pug puts forward a song, and we're trying to find
- 31:02Speaker 1: the goat of a particular category. Today's category the Goat
- 31:06Speaker 1: Wrestling entrance music song. So if I was to run
- 31:09Speaker 1: out to be part of WWE Wrestling, this song from
- 31:13Speaker 1: Metallica would play, Ay, Yeah, here he comes, and then
- 31:19Speaker 1: all the lights would go down. That's right, Oh keys,
- 31:25Speaker 1: he's there. He's in his job strap. He's jogging down
- 31:30Speaker 1: to the ring.
- 31:30Speaker 3: So you wouldn't do any of the sort of semantics
- 31:34Speaker 3: at the top end, you know, a little dancy dance
- 31:36Speaker 3: or some you're.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Don't do any I just I don't do any of
- 31:39Speaker 1: that four play stuff. I'm just straight down to business.
- 31:42Speaker 1: You kind of give that vibe when it comes to
- 31:44Speaker 1: getting in the ring. That's how I operate. Hang on, Pugs,
- 31:48Speaker 1: I know when you get in the ring you like
- 31:50Speaker 1: to fluff around quite a bit to sort of make
- 31:52Speaker 1: up for what the display you're about to put on
- 31:54Speaker 1: in the ring. What song did you choose?
- 31:56Speaker 4: Again? Man your way mother. It's just one of those.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Days, Limp Biscuit, because if I'm in the ring, I'm
- 32:07Speaker 3: breaking everything.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Yeah, nice man, Limp Biscuit.
- 32:12Speaker 4: There.
- 32:12Speaker 1: I chose from the Boalto's Metallica. You can vote at
- 32:14Speaker 1: the Huducky Big Shows Instagram story. Now, we've had a
- 32:18Speaker 1: few great texts on three four eight three Pugs, every
- 32:20Speaker 1: single one of them in the draw for a fifty
- 32:22Speaker 1: dollar at Reburger voucher. Great suggestion first of all from Steve.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Mama said knock you out from l ol COOLJ. Don't
- 32:29Speaker 1: call it a comeback, it would be such a great song,
- 32:36Speaker 1: great shout.
- 32:37Speaker 3: This is l our cool J.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Before he was on n c I S or whatever
- 32:40Speaker 1: show he was on, I can't remember. Probably his best
- 32:43Speaker 1: song to be honest. Another great shout here. This is
- 32:45Speaker 1: from Andy, who by all accounts must be an angry man.
- 32:48Speaker 1: He's gone for some turnstile. Good Lord, just fury, pure
- 32:59Speaker 1: un adults.
- 33:00Speaker 7: Fury.
- 33:01Speaker 3: I'm always advocating for more turnstile on Hodak. We don't
- 33:03Speaker 3: plan it enough.
- 33:04Speaker 1: I love this. They do, they do rule. And this
- 33:07Speaker 1: is a great suggestion too from Mark. If you're a
- 33:09Speaker 1: fan of the Simpsons, shout out to Homer playing why
- 33:12Speaker 1: can't we be friends? As he walked out to fight
- 33:14Speaker 1: Drideric Tatum. That is an all time throwback Simpson's reference
- 33:23Speaker 1: from the good old days of the Simpsons, the glory days.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Pugs doesn't get me super jazz, but I get it.
- 33:29Speaker 3: I get it.
- 33:29Speaker 1: But that was what was great about at home, Simpson
- 33:32Speaker 1: walking out with Mo most his lackers, trainer, keep those
- 33:35Speaker 1: ticks coming three four eight three, feeling it yourself and
- 33:38Speaker 1: the draw fort Reeburger vouchers also Pugs. Just before we go,
- 33:42Speaker 1: I was giving a lovely shout out to make Can
- 33:44Speaker 1: I make a shout out? Is that all good?
- 33:46Speaker 2: You know what?
- 33:46Speaker 1: Keysy?
- 33:46Speaker 3: This time around?
- 33:47Speaker 1: You can have it, brother, Thanks, I was gonna do
- 33:49Speaker 1: it anyway.
- 33:50Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Pugs. This one goes out to a bloke by the
- 33:53Speaker 1: name of Jerry. He's a project manager and Todunger. He
- 33:56Speaker 1: works on landscaping. Just a lovely message from his part
- 34:00Speaker 1: and the Petra saying love you doll and keep up
- 34:03Speaker 1: the good work. Didn't you date Petra for a while? Pugs.
- 34:07Speaker 5: The hood Achy Big Show with Jon, Mike and Kezy
- 34:10Speaker 5: tune in week days on Radio hod Acale.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Tune there from Push Push and the Hdaky Big Show
- 34:15Speaker 1: Thursday evening with Kezi and pugsh.
- 34:17Speaker 3: I've been diving deeper and deeper and now I'm sub
- 34:21Speaker 3: what is it the Mariana Trench, Maranara Trench. Yeah, it's
- 34:25Speaker 3: the Marnara Trench. Now that's my dream kind of trench man.
- 34:29Speaker 3: I've been diving in there finding best bits for your
- 34:31Speaker 3: listening pleasure. And I've gone all the way back to
- 34:33Speaker 3: twenty twenty two now, so I've gone even further back
- 34:36Speaker 3: to this time four years ago. And you can hear
- 34:39Speaker 3: the difference in sound for the show. But it's all good,
- 34:42Speaker 3: It's all gold. This is a classic hold Acke Big Show.
- 34:44Speaker 4: Yaana.
- 34:45Speaker 3: When Jason Mike used to work together out.
- 34:46Speaker 2: On the sea, I was just thinking to myself. You
- 34:48Speaker 2: remember the time you and I we used to we
- 34:53Speaker 2: used to deliver yachts, super yachts, that sort of thing
- 34:58Speaker 2: from one country to another.
- 35:00Speaker 4: That was some of our best times. I reckon, mate,
- 35:02Speaker 4: it was a Yeah, it was bloody good, wasn't it.
- 35:05Speaker 2: It was such a free kind of life.
- 35:07Speaker 4: Just you and me and the ocean and a brand
- 35:09Speaker 4: new boat.
- 35:10Speaker 2: And what I mean by that, you know, someone would say,
- 35:12Speaker 2: say in the UK or something like that, that have
- 35:14Speaker 2: a yacht that they want to deliver it to New
- 35:16Speaker 2: Zealand and we'd go over.
- 35:17Speaker 4: To the UK generally quite wealthy, Yeah, generally.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Speaking, that fly us over there and we'd sailor across
- 35:23Speaker 2: the seas there.
- 35:25Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 35:25Speaker 2: It was very good, very accomplished sailors. Probably people don't
- 35:29Speaker 2: know that about us, That's true.
- 35:30Speaker 6: We were very good, No, we were, and it was
- 35:33Speaker 6: It was one of those things where you know, as
- 35:37Speaker 6: time goes on, now it seems like the wall will
- 35:39Speaker 6: get smaller and smaller. You totally mean, But when it's
- 35:41Speaker 6: just you and your mate and a boat that you
- 35:45Speaker 6: don't care if it gets damaged versus mother nature, I mean,
- 35:50Speaker 6: you feel pretty small, don't you, mate?
- 35:52Speaker 2: Yeah, you do you look out that horizon there curling
- 35:55Speaker 2: into the distance.
- 35:56Speaker 4: It's very humbling, actually it is.
- 35:58Speaker 1: And you're right, you know.
- 35:59Speaker 2: The great thing about is that you know, we we're
- 36:01Speaker 2: in charge of delivering it, but I've got beaten up
- 36:03Speaker 2: along the way. I mean, it's neither hend nor there.
- 36:05Speaker 6: To yeah all here and no responsibility. Yeahs as the
- 36:10Speaker 6: official term, but really it was.
- 36:12Speaker 1: No cared reviews or you couldn't really review it.
- 36:16Speaker 4: It was just yeah, this is here, it is man,
- 36:20Speaker 4: yeah exactly.
- 36:21Speaker 2: And they weren't really sort of doing reviews back then.
- 36:24Speaker 4: No review action, no, no, no.
- 36:28Speaker 6: But you remember when we came back and it was
- 36:30Speaker 6: quite good because we're trying to get it back, this
- 36:33Speaker 6: particularly yacht for these people to hit, you know, snobby
- 36:36Speaker 6: bastards if you're honest, totally to have a summer holiday.
- 36:39Speaker 6: But we got back ahead of schedule because we had
- 36:41Speaker 6: a tailwind, which served us well. So Jason and I were.
- 36:45Speaker 4: Doing sales, I remember, and that a yeah, And so
- 36:52Speaker 4: we went down to the South Islan.
- 36:53Speaker 6: They have a little geeze around there, as we had
- 36:55Speaker 6: a bit of time up our sleeve and sort of
- 36:58Speaker 6: pested it around up and down a couple of rivers.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, and beautiful.
- 37:05Speaker 4: And it was a bit weird.
- 37:06Speaker 6: I remember somebody from Old Dock is that what they
- 37:10Speaker 6: call it, Department of Conversation just went bloody mad at
- 37:14Speaker 6: us one day because we hadn't cleaned the hull.
- 37:18Speaker 4: We hadn't cleaned the whole. Yeah, like we would ever
- 37:21Speaker 4: do that?
- 37:22Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 37:22Speaker 4: How am I going to do that? You want me
- 37:23Speaker 4: to go on the water, mate? Yeah, I'm not a
- 37:25Speaker 4: fish totally. I'm not a boat. The boat's the boat.
- 37:29Speaker 4: I'm a person.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Right, So you got in trouble with Doc, So did you?
- 37:35Speaker 3: What was it like?
- 37:35Speaker 6: Stuff on the boat? Well, the thing is, when we
- 37:37Speaker 6: left the boat was as clean as when we got there.
- 37:41Speaker 6: It was covered in this green snot sort of stuff
- 37:43Speaker 6: like an algae. Yeah like that yeah, yeah, like rock snot. Yeah,
- 37:51Speaker 6: that's probably what it looks.
- 37:52Speaker 4: That's what he said it was.
- 37:53Speaker 2: And I mean and when it when it was covered
- 37:55Speaker 2: in it, she was covered in it, right, I was
- 37:59Speaker 2: going right up how everywhere?
- 38:01Speaker 6: Yeah, so he is going, all right, calm down. So
- 38:04Speaker 6: we left and went to a different river, another river,
- 38:07Speaker 6: and then another river and another river. And there's always
- 38:10Speaker 6: these things like clean the home of your moon. And
- 38:13Speaker 6: that's the thing. That's why I sort of yearned for
- 38:15Speaker 6: the old seafear and days, because there was never any
- 38:17Speaker 6: signs anywhere saying clean your bat.
- 38:19Speaker 4: Yeah, shoes, yeah, carry on.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Was this like early two thousand and four five year
- 38:28Speaker 1: around there?
- 38:29Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 38:29Speaker 1: Yeah, So you guys introduced did he moo into New Zealand?
- 38:32Speaker 4: Did he moo meet Altero? Yeah? I guess we did. Yeah, right, And.
- 38:38Speaker 2: I'll tell you what, There's nothing like going to a
- 38:41Speaker 2: beautiful lake down in the south arm of the beautiful
- 38:45Speaker 2: crystal clear water and seeing that rock snot just glistening
- 38:50Speaker 2: in the in the water there. It's lovely, isn't it.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Yeah, you think to yourself, I did that.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Yeah, isn't it like an invasive species?
- 39:00Speaker 3: Oh?
- 39:00Speaker 4: Yeah? Yeah.
- 39:01Speaker 2: It's everywhere easy.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Bit a Dinny Mode chat from twenty twenty two. There,
- 39:07Speaker 1: every show we've ever done is available wherever get your
- 39:09Speaker 1: podcasts from. Just search Hiducky Big Show wherever you listen,
- 39:12Speaker 1: and you can listen to classic clips just like that
- 39:14Speaker 1: one Pugs.
- 39:15Speaker 5: The Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 39:19Speaker 5: in on.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Radio Hold Radio hit there on the Hidarky Big Show.
- 39:23Speaker 1: It's almost six PM. This glorious Thursday evening, you got
- 39:27Speaker 1: Kezy and Pugs filling in while Hoidy j and Mogi
- 39:30Speaker 1: are away on holiday. The full show is back in
- 39:32Speaker 1: full this coming Monday, and the Goat Countdown will officially
- 39:35Speaker 1: be underway by that stage too, So it's all happening
- 39:37Speaker 1: Pugs while Horny Jay's away. He's currently up north as
- 39:42Speaker 1: a weather bomb has hit the northern part of the country.
- 39:44Speaker 1: He's up there enjoying it. Yeah, but he's actually got
- 39:46Speaker 1: you house sitting for him. How's it been going.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not the first time, but the last time
- 39:50Speaker 3: I did it was a couple of weeks ago and
- 39:51Speaker 3: it was only like two days. This is a bit
- 39:54Speaker 3: more of an extended period. So last it was my
- 39:57Speaker 3: first night last night, and I'm going right the way
- 40:00Speaker 3: through to Saturday. So obviously he has his cat there, Jizz,
- 40:04Speaker 3: So you're looking at his cat, Jizz, So I'm looking
- 40:07Speaker 3: after his jizz. Yeah, and my partner will be there,
- 40:10Speaker 3: but also I have some time where it'll just be
- 40:12Speaker 3: me in the place. She's going away as well. Right,
- 40:14Speaker 3: And there's something different about the last time I did it.
- 40:18Speaker 3: The last time I did it, I think I was
- 40:19Speaker 3: so paranoid about, you know, making sure the doors were
- 40:22Speaker 3: locked and everything was right and the oven was off
- 40:24Speaker 3: and it's not my house and don't touch this and
- 40:26Speaker 3: don't touch that. But because it's my second time around,
- 40:29Speaker 3: I'm getting kind of a different feeling and I'm not
- 40:32Speaker 3: one hundred percent.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Sure what that is. Is it starting to feel like home?
- 40:36Speaker 3: It is starting. I'm way more comfortable put it that way. Like,
- 40:39Speaker 3: you know, like, wait, I'm sleeping in Haughty Jay's bed.
- 40:42Speaker 1: That's interesting, isn't it. It's really interesting.
- 40:45Speaker 3: But you know, I get up in the morning and
- 40:47Speaker 3: this morning, for example, never done this before in my life,
- 40:50Speaker 3: turn like put my little legs over the bed, and
- 40:53Speaker 3: I just went, Really, you had.
- 40:56Speaker 1: A big site, and that's interesting. So was there anything
- 40:58Speaker 1: particularly bad you were steering down the barrel of Well,
- 41:00Speaker 1: not really.
- 41:01Speaker 3: Honestly, not really. I've got a great life, so I
- 41:02Speaker 3: don't know what i'd be complaining.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Yeah, that is that's Hoidy J. That's Toidy J. Yeah,
- 41:06Speaker 1: because you know, and I had a mate around at
- 41:10Speaker 1: my place the other day. He's a builder who's done
- 41:11Speaker 1: some work for Haughty J as well. Yeah, and he
- 41:13Speaker 1: was saying that, you know, while he was at Haughty
- 41:15Speaker 1: J's place working on the house. He'd just be looking
- 41:17Speaker 1: through the window and Jason just be wandering backwards and
- 41:19Speaker 1: forwards to the fridge, opening it, sighing, closing the fridge,
- 41:23Speaker 1: watching Telly and doing pretty much nothing and having a
- 41:25Speaker 1: great chill existence. Yeah, and then doing a few hours
- 41:28Speaker 1: of radio, and he'd still be sighing and iffing and
- 41:30Speaker 1: jeffing the whole time.
- 41:31Speaker 3: Mate, I've like halved my commute. I literally live like
- 41:35Speaker 3: in the central CBD.
- 41:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:37Speaker 3: So I don't know what.
- 41:38Speaker 1: I don't know what my problem was, but I got
- 41:39Speaker 1: up and I just had an air of grumpinis about me.
- 41:42Speaker 3: So then I go, you know, I go to the ketchup.
- 41:43Speaker 3: I have a coffee machine at my usual place, and
- 41:46Speaker 3: so I figured that I can probably run Jason's one.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I don't know, it seemed pretty similar to mine. Managed
- 41:51Speaker 1: to burn the milk. Oh really, you did burn the milk. Yeah,
- 41:53Speaker 1: managed to.
- 41:53Speaker 3: Burn the milk.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I really really annoyed the messes there. Who was staying
- 41:57Speaker 1: with me?
- 41:58Speaker 4: Did you?
- 41:58Speaker 1: Pecka said when you sort of mentioned it. I haven't
- 42:01Speaker 1: talked to her since. Yeah, good, she complained about it.
- 42:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 42:04Speaker 3: And also I was looking up at her mess of
- 42:05Speaker 3: because she was wearing these massive boots. Anyway, so I thought,
- 42:09Speaker 3: I've got a bit of time. Obviously, I don't have
- 42:10Speaker 3: to be in here till the AVO. So I was
- 42:12Speaker 3: walking and I just found myself and the WAPs of
- 42:15Speaker 3: Auckland CBD wearing my partner's boots and city wops. Okay,
- 42:20Speaker 3: the WAPs of Auckland CBD, you know what I mean.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Like a ways away, I was on my way to
- 42:24Speaker 3: work and I managed to get lost. I ended up
- 42:26Speaker 3: at a hot pot restaurant around the corner with my
- 42:28Speaker 3: hands behind her back looking at the menu there.
- 42:30Speaker 1: Wow, okay, did you partake in the hot pot? I did?
- 42:33Speaker 3: I did, and it was nice and spicy, And now
- 42:35Speaker 3: I'm going to go tell everyone about it and not
- 42:37Speaker 3: shut the IF up.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, okay, Well this is this is answering a
- 42:41Speaker 1: lot of questions because I did notice, and I was
- 42:42Speaker 1: gonna have a chat to you about this. Before we
- 42:44Speaker 1: came on here, you were saying quite a lot of
- 42:45Speaker 1: racist stuff.
- 42:49Speaker 5: The hold che Big Show with Mike and Kyzy tune
- 42:53Speaker 5: in week days at four on Radio Hold I Can.
- 42:55Speaker 1: It is the big show for Thursday. The thirteenth of
- 42:57Speaker 1: August twenty twenty six. You've got key is he in
- 43:00Speaker 1: Pug's son? Hoiy jam Magi. We back on deck come Monday. Regardless,
- 43:04Speaker 1: the Big Show always brought to you by Reburger.
- 43:09Speaker 3: Seven Good Times and good food, dining or take away
- 43:12Speaker 3: Rebig Gear today.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yah yah yam yam, Pugs.
- 43:16Speaker 1: At this time of the show, we usually discussed what
- 43:18Speaker 1: is for dinner. I'm not sure if you were around yesterday.
- 43:21Speaker 1: While I was trying to choose a restaurant to take
- 43:23Speaker 1: my parents out for dinner, no, because basically they are
- 43:28Speaker 1: very aware of all the restaurants around us, and I'm
- 43:30Speaker 1: trying to pick one right, and so I was like, well,
- 43:32Speaker 1: why don't we go here for dinner? And I've got oh,
- 43:34Speaker 1: that's not very good there anymore. I'm like, okay, what
- 43:36Speaker 1: And then I was like, Okay, I've booked to go here.
- 43:38Speaker 1: It has really good reviews and I feel like eating Mexican.
- 43:41Speaker 1: And then they were like, oh no, no, don't go there.
- 43:42Speaker 1: We went there a few months ago and it was
- 43:44Speaker 1: really bad, and I was like okay, and they booked
- 43:47Speaker 1: another restaurant. They were like, oh, we went there last week, so.
- 43:50Speaker 3: You were never going to win.
- 43:51Speaker 1: At what point do you just say, okay, well you
- 43:52Speaker 1: guys pick well because it's meant to be for my birthday. Yeah,
- 43:57Speaker 1: so I just said, well, look how about this one.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Here's Italian. It seems nice and oh yes, we love
- 44:02Speaker 1: that restaurants. Okay, great, Okay, we found it. It took
- 44:04Speaker 1: four goes, but we found the restaurants. We're gonna win that.
- 44:06Speaker 1: They're block walling you from your own birthday choice. It's
- 44:09Speaker 1: what it's what parents are allowed to do. Pugs. You know,
- 44:11Speaker 1: they've got their little quirks, and to be fair, the
- 44:14Speaker 1: reasons are all pretty valid. They were like, oh they've
- 44:16Speaker 1: got a new owner now a new ship, but it's
- 44:18Speaker 1: not as good anymore, that sort of stuff, you know, right, Okay,
- 44:20Speaker 1: fair enough Italian? What are you because you're your house
- 44:24Speaker 1: sitting houghty J So you're in the CBD.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm in the CBD. But I did go out
- 44:28Speaker 3: for dinner last night. I had a beautiful mushroom dish.
- 44:32Speaker 3: These sort of they were kind of dumpling dumpling shape,
- 44:35Speaker 3: sort of ravioli things. But tonight it's just a quiet
- 44:39Speaker 3: night and at the Ji's Palace so I'm going to
- 44:41Speaker 3: have a past to sell it with my partner, but
- 44:43Speaker 3: a pisto, but of ravioli and some cause shit things
- 44:48Speaker 3: like that.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it would be good. It's lots of greenery, lots
- 44:50Speaker 1: of edge. Should it be young? That sounds delightful, Pugs?
- 44:53Speaker 4: It does?
- 44:55Speaker 1: It weirds me out, like it's fine? But what like
- 44:58Speaker 1: I can't imagine sleeping in hoidy j bed or sleeping
- 45:01Speaker 1: in Mogi's bed, or me sleeping in your bed or
- 45:03Speaker 1: vice versa. Like it's a bit weird, don't you think?
- 45:05Speaker 1: You know what? Man?
- 45:06Speaker 3: I have been doing my best not to think about it,
- 45:08Speaker 3: so maybe we shouldn't either.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Okay, you what you know? You're getting up to any
- 45:14Speaker 1: mischief from their bed, Pugs? Or is it just like, no,
- 45:16Speaker 1: this is haughty Jay's you know it's all above board.
- 45:19Speaker 1: I am not at liberty to say, ah, Pugs, you
- 45:23Speaker 1: daddy Ben, excuse any Jay's bed? Excuse me?
- 45:27Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 45:27Speaker 1: You Stallion, you Stallion.
- 45:30Speaker 4: God.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Hey, this song goes out to Pugs. She hard, she
- 45:33Speaker 1: real hard? My right, Pugs, No, you Stallion.

- 45:56Speaker 1: favorite tunes. Text the word go to three four eight three,

- 46:04Speaker 1: best bit of the day.
- 46:06Speaker 3: Obviously there'll be more tomorrow when we come back here
- 46:08Speaker 3: at four pm, but I wanted to finish with a
- 46:11Speaker 3: real banger, and it wouldn't be right if I didn't
- 46:13Speaker 3: bring back arguably the great well at least top three
- 46:17Speaker 3: Big Show improvs of all time, one one that my
- 46:21Speaker 3: partner still quotes to me to this day. And I'll
- 46:24Speaker 3: let you listen and figure out exactly what that quote is.
- 46:28Speaker 4: Why not It sounds free lines, camera action. Now it's
- 46:34Speaker 4: time for the Big Show prom So good, yeah, man,
- 46:41Speaker 4: that's really good.
- 46:42Speaker 1: If you don't know what this is, basically a segment
- 46:44Speaker 1: where Jason Mike, with their decades of acting experience, teach
- 46:48Speaker 1: me how to to the hot indeed, Yeah, between you
- 46:52Speaker 1: one Actor of the Year award, which is pretty cool,
- 46:54Speaker 1: so bad. Yeah, but you teach me about improvising because
- 46:57Speaker 1: that's pretty important in the acting game, isn't it.
- 47:00Speaker 2: It is? It is.
- 47:01Speaker 4: Hearing is the most listening, Jase is the most important thing,
- 47:04Speaker 4: isn't it?
- 47:05Speaker 2: Indeed?
- 47:05Speaker 6: It is so before you've got in your head are
- 47:08Speaker 6: the words that you've read off the page and memorized,
- 47:10Speaker 6: and you're just waiting for your turn to say the thing. Yeah,
- 47:13Speaker 6: and your scene partner says something in a completely different
- 47:16Speaker 6: way than You're not reacting to that, are you. You're
- 47:17Speaker 6: just waiting to say your thing. You need to listen, right,
- 47:20Speaker 6: and improv is all about listening.
- 47:22Speaker 4: Listening. Huh you ready, fellas?
- 47:27Speaker 1: Yeah, so me and Mike today is yes, you and
- 47:29Speaker 1: Mike okay, keasy?
- 47:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:31Speaker 2: Upon awakening, notice is a groady looking mole on his body.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Looking into the mirror. He becomes very concerned and decides
- 47:42Speaker 2: it's time to go and see his local doctor, doctor
- 47:45Speaker 2: Murgi duk d Doc Doug.
- 47:49Speaker 1: Knock knock and come on, in course, what's the mina?
- 47:58Speaker 1: Sorry knock knock, come on? Oh sorry, I couldn't hear you.
- 48:01Speaker 1: I thought that was okod Sorry Dr Mogi. My name
- 48:05Speaker 1: is CAZy.
- 48:05Speaker 4: I know who you are, mate, I'm being your doctor.
- 48:10Speaker 2: CAZy.
- 48:11Speaker 4: Concentrate please, Sorry, I've got this good mate, You've got
- 48:14Speaker 4: a problem.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Sorry, doctor mogis has been so long I forgot.
- 48:19Speaker 4: I've got a bit of an injury over the weekend
- 48:21Speaker 4: playing rugby got heaven throat?
- 48:23Speaker 1: Oh doctor Moogi, are you like sixty four?
- 48:26Speaker 4: You're talking really weird, mate? What's the problem? You only
- 48:28Speaker 4: got fifteen minutes? Is going to call you? Hang Max.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Sorry, I woke up this morning and I was looking
- 48:35Speaker 1: in the mirror and I noticed a mole that looks
- 48:37Speaker 1: just a bit off.
- 48:38Speaker 4: Take your pants off, but it's on my chest off?
- 48:46Speaker 2: Okakezy begins to get undressed. Not only does he take
- 48:52Speaker 2: his pants off, but he takes his shirt off as well.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Dr Magie is shocked by his burnt meat. Patty nips
- 48:59Speaker 2: All right, wait, I'm just going to take.
- 49:02Speaker 4: My pants on.
- 49:03Speaker 1: Hell, why do you need to take your pants off?
- 49:06Speaker 4: Don't worry about it.
- 49:09Speaker 1: God, that's stupid. What year was that from Pugs? Three
- 49:15Speaker 1: years ago? That was no, that was two years ago?
- 49:19Speaker 1: Four ran about this time of the year. Yeah, we
- 49:21Speaker 1: should get back to doing improvs where Mogi just suddenly
- 49:24Speaker 1: has a ridiculous voice because it always threw me off
- 49:26Speaker 1: every single time. And you've got to be fast when
- 49:28Speaker 1: you're in the acting game.
- 49:29Speaker 2: Man.
- 49:30Speaker 1: You have to listen the Big Show back in full
- 49:34Speaker 1: this coming Monday. In the meantime, if you want to

- 49:51Speaker 1: Keezy and Pugs. Right now it's time for We're after
- 49:57Speaker 1: Fast Brewery. Beautiful Pugs. I left your solo there, mate,
- 50:04Speaker 1: and you did not disappoint today's brewery. Liberty Brewing Co.
- 50:09Speaker 1: These guys, Yeah, well, these guys have been around Beer
- 50:11Speaker 1: Varner a lot. In fact, we've been to Liberty's headquarters
- 50:14Speaker 1: quite a few times, had a few drinks there, enjoyed
- 50:16Speaker 1: a few delicious meals. Liberty Brewing Co. They've been cranking
- 50:21Speaker 1: out some of New Zealand's most loved beers for years,
- 50:23Speaker 1: and they've built their reputation the old fashioned way. By
- 50:26Speaker 1: making bloody good beer. And at the end of the day, Pugs,
- 50:29Speaker 1: that's what it comes down to, at the end of
- 50:30Speaker 1: the day. You know, I just met about the marking
- 50:32Speaker 1: and the this and the that, and we used these
- 50:34Speaker 1: mark blah blah the marketing. What are they marking? Hey,
- 50:38Speaker 1: I mean marking of a good beer. When they're marking
- 50:40Speaker 1: the judge.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Yeah, so when the judge is getting marked, that's how
- 50:44Speaker 3: you're worried about.
- 50:45Speaker 1: You're marking the judge. Yeah, it just what what Pugs,
- 50:48Speaker 1: What it comes down to is making good beer. All right, Pugs,
- 50:51Speaker 1: can you clap this one off? Cheers brother Liberty? Oh
- 50:54Speaker 1: you're seeing it to Liberty authors sitting it to the
- 50:56Speaker 1: radio Woods from a humble new plumber shed to their
- 51:00Speaker 1: home in Helensville. Master brewer Joe Wood and the Liberty
- 51:03Speaker 1: Crew have become legends of the Kiwi craft beers seen,
- 51:05Speaker 1: especially when it comes to big hops and beers packed
- 51:08Speaker 1: with flavor. Pugs, yeah, flavor, man, me stuff? Do you
- 51:13Speaker 1: do like stuff packed with flavor?
- 51:15Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 51:15Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 51:16Speaker 1: Yeah, good stuff. Hey, this actually this reminds me of you, Pugs.
- 51:19Speaker 1: No gimmicks, no nonsense.
- 51:21Speaker 3: Yeah that sounds like me, man, Just straight, straight, to
- 51:23Speaker 3: the point, no messing around, just good quality.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Just bog standard.
- 51:28Speaker 4: Wow.
- 51:29Speaker 3: No, I don't know if Liberty's bog standard, Mate, I
- 51:31Speaker 3: would say they excel the old Pugs son.
- 51:34Speaker 1: If they did have a gimmick, it would be making
- 51:36Speaker 1: delicious beer, quality brewing, plenty of passion and some seriously
- 51:40Speaker 1: award winning drops. Of course, they're going to be at
- 51:41Speaker 1: Beer Varner which is next Friday, and Satdy Down and
- 51:44Speaker 1: Wellington at Henry Stadium. Get your tickets now from Beer
- 51:46Speaker 1: Vanner dot co, dot n z. The Big She'll be
- 51:49Speaker 1: down there to make stually you come, say gooday.
- 51:51Speaker 5: The Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 51:54Speaker 1: Tune in on Radioky It's a Chili's on the Hidarchy
- 51:58Speaker 1: Big Show Thursday evening with and pugshn Pugs play the sting.
- 52:05Speaker 1: What's on the news with me Kizy that's right, the
- 52:12Speaker 1: important news stories from around the world and Pugs this
- 52:15Speaker 1: want to fix all of us, mate. Shrink Flation.
- 52:19Speaker 3: Oh yes, we've talked about this on the show before.
- 52:21Speaker 3: Shrink Flation. Yeah, that's right.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Shrink Flation is where you know, to combat inflation and
- 52:26Speaker 1: the fact that everything's more expensive now, companies make their
- 52:28Speaker 1: products slightly smaller and hope that you don't notice. Yeah,
- 52:32Speaker 1: and then usually charge you more for it at the
- 52:34Speaker 1: same time, one hundred percent. Like for example, and I
- 52:37Speaker 1: was at the supermarket the other day and I saw
- 52:39Speaker 1: all Snickers bars are only ninety nine cents each, And
- 52:42Speaker 1: as I got closer to the rack, I went down
- 52:45Speaker 1: and picked one of them up and they were tiny.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Yeah okay, because in my head I was like, man,
- 52:50Speaker 1: chocolate bar for a dollar the good old days. Got
- 52:52Speaker 1: up there and it was like the size of a
- 52:54Speaker 1: tiny little one that you'd, you know, like a baby one.
- 52:57Speaker 1: I'd say it's average size. But yep, sure, man, not
- 53:00Speaker 1: where I come from. Look, the reason I'm bringing this
- 53:02Speaker 1: up was because there was a hoarder house in the UK.
- 53:06Speaker 1: Do you know about hoarding pugs? I'm aware of hoarding. Yeah, yeah,
- 53:09Speaker 1: so hoarding pugs. Yeah, go ahead, people that just don't
- 53:14Speaker 1: throw stuff away and the house becomes cluttered. They're holding
- 53:17Speaker 1: their stuff pugs, right, thank you? Yeah yeah, col weird
- 53:22Speaker 1: that you know. Anyway, So there was a hoarding house
- 53:25Speaker 1: in the UK there and a specialized cleaning service went
- 53:28Speaker 1: around and cleaned it all out. And while they were
- 53:31Speaker 1: pulling out stuff, and sorting through it and helping, you know,
- 53:34Speaker 1: figure out all this admin. Someone came across in the
- 53:38Speaker 1: kitchen a Mars bar from nineteen ninety one. Wow, And
- 53:43Speaker 1: they were literally just going to throw it in the
- 53:45Speaker 1: burn when they reached down and picked it up, and
- 53:46Speaker 1: we're like, wow, that's big, Like that's how I remember
- 53:50Speaker 1: Mars bars, right, And then they weighed it. It was
- 53:53Speaker 1: sixty two and a half grams. They then went to
- 53:55Speaker 1: the supermarket and got the current equivalent and it was
- 53:58Speaker 1: only forty grams. Oh my gosh, over thirty five years
- 54:02Speaker 1: they have secretly got rid of a third of the
- 54:04Speaker 1: amount of Mars bar that you used to get. And like,
- 54:07Speaker 1: this is the proof was very much literally in the
- 54:10Speaker 1: pudding on this one, Pugs, aren't.
- 54:11Speaker 3: I wonder how much it would have been in ninety
- 54:14Speaker 3: one and what that amount would equate to today, do
- 54:17Speaker 3: you know.
- 54:18Speaker 1: What I mean? So are you thinking like weight wise
- 54:21Speaker 1: at sixty two and a half grams and weight doesn't
- 54:23Speaker 1: really get affected by inflation, Pugs weights Like it's like,
- 54:27Speaker 1: you know, whatever it weighed in ninety ninety one, it's awagh,
- 54:29Speaker 1: the exact same now. I think you're getting your wires
- 54:31Speaker 1: crossed there. Well, no, because of global warming and stuff,
- 54:34Speaker 1: the gravity changes.
- 54:35Speaker 3: Right.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Okay, mate, you've been watching way too many YouTube videos,
- 54:38Speaker 1: are right or were you? Did you mean financially how
- 54:41Speaker 1: much it costs?
- 54:41Speaker 4: Yes?
- 54:42Speaker 1: Oh okay, I'm not sure, Pugs. There wasn't a price
- 54:45Speaker 1: tag on it. Great, yeah, yeah, the good news is
- 54:50Speaker 1: good news for Kiwi's Pugs.
- 54:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 54:53Speaker 1: In New Zealand, the equivalent Mars bar weighs forty seven
- 54:57Speaker 1: grams instead of forty in the United Kingdom.
- 55:00Speaker 3: Right, so we get seven more grams.
- 55:02Speaker 1: We get seven more grams. We've got bootier bars down
- 55:04Speaker 1: here in New Zealand. But it just goes to show that,
- 55:07Speaker 1: you know, secretly, every year if you knock off a gram,
- 55:10Speaker 1: we won't notice. But if you look at it thirty
- 55:12Speaker 1: years on, you get a product from back then. Holy cow,
- 55:14Speaker 1: we've lost a lot of chocolate Pugs. And it's Kezy
- 55:17Speaker 1: that notice us, of course, it's keasy that wow, he
- 55:20Speaker 1: notices the article just literally stealing content from a website
- 55:23Speaker 1: over here. And what was your new story of the day, Pugs?
- 55:26Speaker 1: Oh mine?
- 55:26Speaker 4: Huh.
- 55:27Speaker 5: The hold Chy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 55:30Speaker 5: tune in week days at four on Radio hold Ikey.
- 55:40Speaker 1: That is the big show down and Dustin for Thursday,
- 55:43Speaker 1: the thirteenth of August with Kezy and Pugs and just
- 55:46Speaker 1: one show left to go Pugs and Monday Houghdy J
- 55:49Speaker 1: and Mag You'll be back on deck mate.
- 55:51Speaker 3: Just what I've got you are.
- 55:52Speaker 1: We're going to do a throber tomorrow, a throbber tomorrow.
- 55:55Speaker 3: We're doing the Daily Goat and that's two songs heat hear,
- 55:57Speaker 3: but we're not playing the winner.
- 55:59Speaker 1: So I feel like we should do a throbber. M
- 56:01Speaker 1: Maybe yeah, potentially that could be interested. Is there a
- 56:04Speaker 1: I remember there was an all time great throbber from
- 56:06Speaker 1: like five years ago that we know. We could do
- 56:10Speaker 1: a throbber if you want, mate, we have gone here
- 56:12Speaker 1: to hear before you and I KEEZYV Pugs Robber, ah
- 56:16Speaker 1: and maybe yeah this is I mean, you've you've asked
- 56:19Speaker 1: me this while we're live on the radio, and it's
- 56:21Speaker 1: really the wheels are starting to turn in my head.
- 56:23Speaker 1: I think we could have some fun with it.
- 56:24Speaker 3: I'm sort of trying to put the pressure on so
- 56:26Speaker 3: that we do it for the people.
- 56:27Speaker 4: You know what I mean.
- 56:28Speaker 1: I didn't want to ask you off here what plan
- 56:30Speaker 1: the show? The good thing too, Pugs. Is what you're
- 56:32Speaker 1: demonstrating now is you're obviously keen to do the trobber
- 56:35Speaker 1: because picking and playing a song is a great honor, absolutely,
- 56:39Speaker 1: and I'll think about it. If we're going to do it,
- 56:41Speaker 1: that's right. And so this illustrates how bullshit it is
- 56:44Speaker 1: when Hoidy J doesn't even try to pick a good song. Yeah,
- 56:47Speaker 1: let's do it. Let's do the throble tomorrow.
- 56:49Speaker 4: Why not?
- 56:49Speaker 1: And so you hit it out for tea tonight for
- 56:53Speaker 1: dinner with my parents, my birthday dinner, even though my
- 56:55Speaker 1: birthday is next week. I'm because some Italian You're gonna
- 56:58Speaker 1: have some pasta and a delicious shad with your partner there.
- 57:02Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, a.
- 57:02Speaker 3: Little past the seller, little night and we went out
- 57:04Speaker 3: last night, so it's nice. My partner's actually going away
- 57:06Speaker 3: tomorrow morning, very early, right home to where she's from,
- 57:10Speaker 3: so I'll take her to the airport in the morning,
- 57:11Speaker 3: so probably be in early night, and then it'll be
- 57:13Speaker 3: a couple of days bachelor life in the Jizz Palace
- 57:15Speaker 3: for all Pugs solo in.
- 57:17Speaker 1: The Jizz Palace, man living the dream. Look, thank you
- 57:19Speaker 1: so much for listening, Pugs, And I'll be back at
- 57:21Speaker 1: four pm tomorrow with more best of the Big Show moments.
- 57:24Speaker 1: Until then, have yourself a bloody great evening. Say later
- 57:27Speaker 1: it right
