Abraham asks to know how he can be sure of these great promises of a vast land and a son for him and Sarah in their old age. God confirms His promise by making a blood covenant with Abraham. There are many examples of type and shadow of Jesus in these scriptures within this episode. You will be blessed in the hearing of it.
