- 0:00Speaker 1: Christ's Nativity. Awake, glad heart, get up and sing. It
- 0:05Speaker 1: is the birthday of thy King. Awake, Awake. The sun
- 0:11Speaker 1: doth shake light from his locks, and all the way
- 0:16Speaker 1: breathing perfumes doth spice the day. Awake, Awake, Hark, how
- 0:22Speaker 1: the wood rings, winds whisper, and the busy springs a concert.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Make awake. Awake. Man is their high priest, and should
- 0:34Speaker 1: rise to offer up the sacrifice. I would I were
- 0:40Speaker 1: some bird or star fluttering in woods, or lifted far
- 0:46Speaker 1: above this inn and road of sin, then either star
- 0:51Speaker 1: or bird should be shining or singing still to THEE.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I would I had in my best part fit rooms
- 1:01Speaker 1: for thee, or that my heart were so clean as
- 1:06Speaker 1: thy manger was. But I am all filth and obscene.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Yet if thou wilt, thou canst make clean. Sweet Jesus
- 1:19Speaker 1: will then let no more this leper haunt and soil
- 1:24Speaker 1: thy door, cure him, ease him, O release him, and
- 1:30Speaker 1: let once more, by mystic birth, the Lord of life
- 1:35Speaker 1: be borne in earth
