- 0:06Hi. I'm Jay Fallon, and you're
- 0:07listening to the slippery slope. So the independent reports that
- 0:11Russia is about to play its most dangerous cards and the West is
- 0:16not ready. This is written by Sunny handle
- 0:20yesterday. So it goes on to say that a few
- 0:22weeks ago, the US Bank, JP Morgan offered an apocalyptic
- 0:27warning that barely made a ripple outside the Financial
- 0:30press. It said that if Russia
- 0:32completely halted oil exports the shock to the world, economy
- 0:37could be so large, it would instantly quadruple the price of
- 0:41oil to nearly four hundred dollars a barrel.
- 0:44So right now it's hovering at around $100 a barrel.
- 0:48So since the world is still heavily reliant on oil, the
- 0:52shock to the world economy would be far worse than during the
- 0:561970s and plunge us into a deep recession.
- 1:00But this mall this week, Russia also turned off more of its
- 1:05natural, gas supplies to Europe via the Nordstrom one pipeline
- 1:10as part of the planned routine maintenance, it is supposed to
- 1:15be just for a short period but the German government is
- 1:20seriously worried that Russia could turn off the tap
- 1:23completely. Putin has already begun to cut
- 1:28gas shipments to you. Europe over the last few months
- 1:31driving prices continuously higher in this not difficult to
- 1:36see how this could play out and why the impact would be
- 1:40catastrophic. So Russia has earned billions of
- 1:44dollars in extra oil and gas payments.
- 1:47Thanks to higher prices since it invaded Ukraine.
- 1:52Summit roll those sanctions that we put on them all those
- 1:56sanctions and they've earned billions and billions of dollars
- 2:00anyway because of the higher oil prices.
- 2:02I thought from the very start, this was a very strange tactic
- 2:06to make sanctions would not work against Putin.
- 2:11Anyway, so it goes on to say the price the prices of oil and gas
- 2:16asset internationally and in that market, Russia is a
- 2:20dominant player. Since World supplies are already
- 2:23stretched to their limits and Banned From Russia with
- 2:26instantly driver prices, toward JP Morgan called stratospheric
- 2:32levels. So while the US has plentiful
- 2:35supplies for itself, Europe is still deeply dependent on
- 2:40Russia. German and Italian industry in
- 2:43particular, would be crippled by higher energy costs and
- 2:46thousands of companies would simply go bust.
- 2:50Millions of people would become jobless and their energy bills
- 2:54would Skyrocket to understand unsustainable levels.
- 2:58Millions would be unable to afford to cook food or drive
- 3:02cars. Putin has already been been
- 3:05weaponizing, fossil fuels you recently shut off gas, supplies
- 3:09to several European Pian countries.
- 3:12If they didn't pay in Rubles, eventually forcing them to
- 3:16relent. He has also been cutting off
- 3:19Ukrainian exports of food to drive up prices around the
- 3:23world, natural gas. Now, Rivals oil as the fuel,
- 3:28that shapes geopolitics, and there isn't enough of it to go
- 3:32around as Bloomberg. New news, put it recently.
- 3:37So something he would be foolish to cut off his own source of
- 3:40income. But the Russian government has
- 3:43all it needs is built up. A sufficient buffer of cash to
- 3:47help against that. More over time is running out
- 3:51for Putin. Because by next year, Germany
- 3:54plans to wean itself off its dependency on Russia.
- 3:59However, for abruptly shutting off supplies, Putin would
- 4:03deliver a colossal shock to our oil and gas dependent economies
- 4:08stock markets would plunge and Thousands of companies would go
- 4:13bankrupt from being unable to afford energy supplies.
- 4:17Millions of people would lose their jobs in the west would
- 4:20instantly lose the political will send money to Ukraine.
- 4:25Putin would win. Listen, I read reports like
- 4:28this. And yep.
- 4:29It's very scary. It's intimidating to read it and
- 4:32you sit there going, what hope does our future have?
- 4:35Where are we going to go? This one?
- 4:38Seemingly crazy, man, Two is just hell bent on destroying
- 4:44another country and just will not relent until he has his way
- 4:50and he's seemingly holding the whole world, ransom for his
- 4:55will. However, I look at this and
- 4:58think this all plays into what the Bible says is going to
- 5:02happen. In Ezekiel ran chapter 37, 38,
- 5:06we see a description of Russia as being a strong Nation.
- 5:11Until it leads a coalition of Nations to attempt attempt to
- 5:17invade Israel. And then we see God defend
- 5:20Israel and in those nations are completely while those armies
- 5:25are completely destroyed this, all plays into what the Bible
- 5:30says will happen. The description of Russia in the
- 5:34end. I take solace in the fact that
- 5:37the Bible has not been wrong and it won't be wrong.
- 5:41The Bible has a description of Russia of being a strong Nation
- 5:46until that time when it tries to invade Israel, and it's going to
- 5:51fail because of the end of everything, God will have his
- 5:56way. And the Bible will be proven
- 5:59right yet again. So even though all these things
- 6:02are scary to, look at scary, to read the thought of, you know,
- 6:06$400 or not, a barrel, oil is just mind-blowing.
- 6:10Owing and you know, how are we going to pay your bills?
- 6:14How we're going to live, how we going to be able to cook our
- 6:16food? How are we going to be able to
- 6:17do all those things? If Putin holds the whole world,
- 6:21Ransom in the end, if this thing comes into fruition but we can
- 6:25rest assured that God has everything in control and that
- 6:30is why he described what would happen in the future in the
- 6:35Bible. Rest assured, God is in control.
- 6:41That's my opinion. Thank you for listening to the
- 6:44slippery slope.
