Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi, guys, this is Teddy Mellencamp and I'm joined by
- 0:04Speaker 1: my friend Emily Simpson for our new spin off show
- 0:08Speaker 1: Popping Off, where we are digging deep on this season
- 0:12Speaker 1: of vander Pump Rules.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Hi everyone, welcome to another episode of Popping Off. Today
- 0:17Speaker 2: it's me Emily and Teddy is not here, so we
- 0:21Speaker 2: have Gina. I feel like I don't even have to
- 0:23Speaker 2: say your last name. You're like share no.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Also because most people can't stay my last.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly all right. So today in headlines, we have
- 0:34Speaker 2: some vander Pump headlines. Jack Taylor grabs lunch with model
- 0:38Speaker 2: Page Wooland after Britney Cartwright split. This was a Page
- 0:42Speaker 2: six article. The Valley star and the model were photographed
- 0:46Speaker 2: at Granville Cafe in Los Angeles on Saturday for a
- 0:50Speaker 2: three hour lunch date. Woolan arrived in a libousine to
- 0:53Speaker 2: pick up the reality star from the home he shares
- 0:56Speaker 2: with his estranged wife, Britney Cartwright. Their afternoon day comes
- 1:00Speaker 2: after the vander Pump Rules. A lum was spotted getting
- 1:03Speaker 2: cozy with a mystery woman at the Oaks Tavern in
- 1:06Speaker 2: Sherman Oaks, California, the night before her TMZ the father
- 1:10Speaker 2: of one, arrived at the bar with the woman and
- 1:12Speaker 2: a group of friends around eleven pm, before the two
- 1:15Speaker 2: left together at one am. However, it's unclear if the
- 1:18Speaker 2: unidentified female was Wooln and other Jackson Page news and
- 1:23Speaker 2: a clip that surfaced online from Ariana's brother Jeremy's birthday party,
- 1:28Speaker 2: which was at Jackson's bar. After Jacks tells Jeremy, I
- 1:33Speaker 2: love you, Page shouts and I'm pregnant, sparking fan backlash,
- 1:37Speaker 2: assuming Page was making a dig at Brittany, who had
- 1:40Speaker 2: been expressing that she wants another child. Okay, there was
- 1:42Speaker 2: a lot to unpack there. First of all, we have
- 1:48Speaker 2: the model, so he's apparently dating a model. Now, I
- 1:51Speaker 2: don't know what's your thoughts on Jack's here. I mean,
- 1:54Speaker 2: it's not surprising.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Yeah exactly.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I saw this, and that was my exact reaction, like, oh, naturally,
- 2:03Speaker 3: you know, I mean, you're really he's a leopard. He's spotty,
- 2:08Speaker 3: he's not hiding them. I mean, maybe credit for not
- 2:13Speaker 3: pretending like he's a good person. I don't know, you know,
- 2:16Speaker 3: for just me who you are, right right?
- 2:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you got it. I mean, yeah, let's give it
- 2:22Speaker 2: props for just being who he is right, just embracing it.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Right, but like, obviously it's incredibly insensitive and like I
- 2:30Speaker 3: just you know me, I'm a proponent for putting your
- 2:34Speaker 3: child first and whether they're going to make it not
- 2:36Speaker 3: make it. They got a co parent and that is
- 2:40Speaker 3: not in the best that's just poor taste.
- 2:43Speaker 4: You know.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Even if you're going to start dating someone, just keep them.
- 2:46Speaker 3: My god, even my ex when he started dating Britain didn't.
- 2:49Speaker 3: They were like very covert about it. They weren't going
- 2:52Speaker 3: to the quiet woman I'm.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Great now and he wasn't getting picked up in a
- 2:57Speaker 2: limousine outside your house.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I think I was beating Travis for like a long
- 3:03Speaker 3: time before I put anything on my Instagram whatever, you.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Know, Like, yeah, you know, I did see the little
- 3:09Speaker 2: clip of where she says and I'm pregnant, and I
- 3:11Speaker 2: don't know if I would go as far as saying
- 3:13Speaker 2: it was a dig at Brittany. I think she thought
- 3:15Speaker 2: she was being clever or funny in the moment and
- 3:18Speaker 2: then it just came back on her as not funny
- 3:21Speaker 2: or clever.
- 3:22Speaker 3: So I's single, He's singled too, right, So it's like
- 3:26Speaker 3: or whatever their situation is to like, I just feel like,
- 3:29Speaker 3: you can't go after this woman unless it's very unless
- 3:33Speaker 3: you know for a fact that it was intentionally a
- 3:36Speaker 3: shot at the mother of his child exactly.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Sheena interviewed Michelle and Janet from The Valley. Sheena reacts
- 3:45Speaker 2: to Jack saying that he doesn't want Sena and Lala
- 3:47Speaker 2: on The Valley because it's disrespectful to the cast Shena
- 3:50Speaker 2: thinks she's just afraid of them calling him out on
- 3:52Speaker 2: this shit they actually know. Sena also claims that Brittany
- 3:56Speaker 2: has not thrown up since she's separated from Jack's Jackson
- 3:59Speaker 2: is trying to take down couples on the show, specifically
- 4:02Speaker 2: Nia and Danny, because they look so perfect on the outside.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Janet was warned before she started filming that Jacks would
- 4:08Speaker 2: go after couples who looked happy. I don't know. I mean,
- 4:11Speaker 2: I do know Jack said that he didn't want I
- 4:13Speaker 2: think he said he didn't want La Laan Sheena on
- 4:14Speaker 2: the Valley because and I do think there is some
- 4:17Speaker 2: truth to this, because the people coming from VPR, if
- 4:21Speaker 2: they came on The Valley, you're talking about seasoned reality
- 4:24Speaker 2: stories that have been on TV for ten years, and
- 4:27Speaker 2: if you're talking about the Valley. You have new people,
- 4:30Speaker 2: and I think maybe that's the charm of it, and
- 4:32Speaker 2: why it does so well is because you have people
- 4:34Speaker 2: that have not been on TV for a long time,
- 4:36Speaker 2: so they are they're not, you know, trying to get
- 4:39Speaker 2: an end result. You know what happens when you've been
- 4:41Speaker 2: on TV for a long time, you start to know
- 4:44Speaker 2: how it works. Maybe you played to the camera, you
- 4:46Speaker 2: try to get a result. So I understand that that's
- 4:50Speaker 2: probably why The Valley is as popular as it is.
- 4:53Speaker 2: You know, I don't know what's your take on it.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Do you think it would be good with other VPR
- 4:56Speaker 2: people or do you think it's good as is?
- 4:58Speaker 4: I mean, it would be for sure.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I think that I don't think that Jacks is honestly
- 5:04Speaker 3: in this situation. I don't think he'd maybe scared for himself.
- 5:07Speaker 3: I mean, he's gonna take They're gonna eat him up.
- 5:09Speaker 3: But I think Jacks is used to that, and I
- 5:11Speaker 3: think he's okay with that. I actually feel like it
- 5:14Speaker 3: would be worse for the new people because it will
- 5:18Speaker 3: shadow them, you know, and right now we are getting
- 5:21Speaker 3: to know them and they are fresh, and I don't Yeah,
- 5:24Speaker 3: I do think that that will kind of overshadow them
- 5:27Speaker 3: or like there will be some growing pains there with
- 5:30Speaker 3: new people coming on and thinking they know and I'm
- 5:33Speaker 3: probably wanting to be the lead role. But then the
- 5:35Speaker 3: people who are the original people of this cast will
- 5:38Speaker 3: want to be their lead role. So I can see
- 5:40Speaker 3: how that's a little bit messy. With that said, I
- 5:42Speaker 3: would love to watch it.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I agree one hundred percent with that one. Tom Schwartz
- 5:48Speaker 2: talks about Joe's lying problem on the When Reality Hits podcast.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Joe randomly lied to Schwartz about babysitting for the executive
- 5:56Speaker 2: producer or VPR one day, and he didn't realize it
- 5:59Speaker 2: was a lie until he brought it up to the
- 6:01Speaker 2: executive producer a few weeks later, and he said he
- 6:03Speaker 2: had never met Joe before they started filming. After filming
- 6:07Speaker 2: had begun, people start coming out of the woodwork to
- 6:09Speaker 2: tell Schwartz the things that Joe had lied about. She
- 6:11Speaker 2: was saying things to Schwartz's family and that's why he
- 6:14Speaker 2: decided to pull away from her. Brittany says that Joe
- 6:17Speaker 2: lied about Brittany and Jack's calling Joe to tell her
- 6:20Speaker 2: about Kristen's dog dying. Brittany doesn't even have her number.
- 6:24Speaker 2: On Kristen's podcast with her boyfriend Luke Balancing Act, Luke
- 6:27Speaker 2: recalls Joe telling him that Aaron Rodgers would fly her
- 6:30Speaker 2: out to Wisconsin to do his hair. Kristin says she
- 6:33Speaker 2: actually knows who cuts his hair. It's her friend Rihanna. Okay,
- 6:37Speaker 2: so basically we have you know Joe would likes to
- 6:41Speaker 2: do these Instagram lives. I don't know if you've ever
- 6:43Speaker 2: watched them. I just see clips of them, but I
- 6:46Speaker 2: don't My our take with Teddy last week was that
- 6:49Speaker 2: maybe she should settle down on the ig lives a
- 6:52Speaker 2: little bit. But I don't know. If Schwartz is saying
- 6:55Speaker 2: he pulled back and he needs to give a reasonable answer,
- 6:58Speaker 2: so he's coming up with this that she lies. I
- 7:00Speaker 2: don't know. It does sound like she has a lying problem, though,
- 7:03Speaker 2: I don't know if she's just trying to impress people
- 7:05Speaker 2: like the Aaron Rodgers, like she gets flown out to
- 7:08Speaker 2: do his hair. You know, maybe it's a moment of
- 7:11Speaker 2: insecurity and she feels like she needs to make herself
- 7:15Speaker 2: look more desirable. I don't know.
- 7:18Speaker 3: I mean, I'll be honest, she does have some she
- 7:21Speaker 3: has some ground to make up with regards to her
- 7:25Speaker 3: professional capabilities after she died his hair plat you.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Know, I mean, I gotta fix that.
- 7:33Speaker 4: I've had a joke, and you know, they it isn't
- 7:36Speaker 4: great for them. I'm sure she talented. That wasn't her day,
- 7:40Speaker 4: and that probably is a.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Good thing to throw out there for redemption, you know,
- 7:45Speaker 3: because it's also another guy.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Seems like maybe she needed some redemption there. But like
- 7:49Speaker 4: the bottom line.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Is he he got too into deep with this girl
- 7:54Speaker 3: too quickly, and he was telling her everything that she
- 7:57Speaker 3: wanted to hear, and he was so believing it, and
- 8:01Speaker 3: then he was like, wait a minute, you're wacky, you
- 8:03Speaker 3: lie a little. I would like to extract myself from this.
- 8:06Speaker 3: And we know, Emily, what if like to try to
- 8:09Speaker 3: get out, even if it's not romantic, a relationship with
- 8:13Speaker 3: somebody that you are in too deep and then you
- 8:16Speaker 3: want to back out. It's not an easy thing to.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Do, no, and especially what it's being played out on TV.
- 8:21Speaker 2: So I think that he's now retroactively going back and
- 8:25Speaker 2: trying to come up with reasons why he was pulling away.
- 8:29Speaker 3: But it's like you were pulling away, but you were
- 8:31Speaker 3: still telling her these like.
- 8:33Speaker 4: Very like, we're in love, don't worry, We're in a relationship.
- 8:36Speaker 3: You're my whatever person we have our and he gets
- 8:39Speaker 3: to stump pulling her Joseph.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I know, I know.
- 8:44Speaker 3: I know it's their thing, but like every time when
- 8:45Speaker 3: he would say it on the reunion too, I'm like,
- 8:48Speaker 3: that's like embarrassing for her, Like, don't drop the act.
- 8:51Speaker 3: You don't if you're not in it with her, don't
- 8:54Speaker 3: do your things like you're in it with her.
- 8:57Speaker 2: It's like Shane calling me Amelio. I'd be like, oh, okay,
- 9:01Speaker 2: could you stop doing that please?
- 9:03Speaker 3: Well, And if you love me and you're invested in
- 9:06Speaker 3: me and you we're together, find me. But if you're
- 9:10Speaker 3: like I don't even want to be with you. But oh, Joseph, no,
- 9:23Speaker 3: all right.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Let's move on to the vander Pump Rules reunion and
- 9:27Speaker 2: we are about to recap part three. Who So Arianna
- 9:32Speaker 2: starts to tear up when she talks about how hard
- 9:34Speaker 2: it was for her last summer. People expected her to
- 9:37Speaker 2: be further along in her healing process than she was capable.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Sometimes I have a hard time with Arianna, and then
- 9:43Speaker 2: during I feel like this third part of the reunion,
- 9:46Speaker 2: I actually felt for her. Very much so, and kind
- 9:52Speaker 2: of wrap my brain around the timing and how when
- 9:56Speaker 2: they were filming it was shortly after everything that had
- 9:58Speaker 2: gone down. And so even though she is on a
- 10:03Speaker 2: reality show, when I do understand, I've always held fast
- 10:06Speaker 2: to that you have to film with who you're on
- 10:08Speaker 2: a cast with. I do understand her need for boundaries,
- 10:13Speaker 2: and I think she articulated this very well and also
- 10:15Speaker 2: explained where she was at last summer.
- 10:18Speaker 3: So one hundred percent yeah, And I mean, like the
- 10:21Speaker 3: reality is, it was three months after the whole scandabal happened.
- 10:29Speaker 4: And yeah, I mean you know where I was three
- 10:32Speaker 4: months after I found out. I was driving around trying
- 10:35Speaker 4: to find this girl's house.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Drag round there, goog, I couldn't find that address, you know,
- 10:40Speaker 3: like that was my mental.
- 10:41Speaker 4: Seat at that time.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Like I honestly, I do give her credit for showing
- 10:46Speaker 3: up and being in the moment, and she is right
- 10:48Speaker 3: to say, listen, my I was being authentic. When I'm
- 10:53Speaker 3: in a room with him, he makes miss skinkrawl. I
- 10:56Speaker 3: want him gone. I don't want to have conversations with
- 11:00Speaker 3: and I'm not going to do it just because I'm
- 11:02Speaker 3: on this show.
- 11:03Speaker 4: And I think that's really valid, right, It's.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Like it would have been bush for her to sit
- 11:09Speaker 3: down with him and allow him to talk just for
- 11:11Speaker 3: the sake of the show. But that being said, I
- 11:14Speaker 3: think where I understand where the other girls are coming
- 11:17Speaker 3: from too, and they're frustrations where they missed the mark was.
- 11:20Speaker 3: They're not really truly frustrated with Arianna. They're frustrated with
- 11:24Speaker 3: the machine.
- 11:25Speaker 4: That they are.
- 11:26Speaker 3: That is what they do, and they know and that's
- 11:29Speaker 3: all they know, you know. So yeah, and I don't
- 11:31Speaker 3: really know what the answer is for that, but you know,
- 11:35Speaker 3: I mean, at the end of the day, let's just
- 11:37Speaker 3: keep the spade where the spade is.
- 11:39Speaker 4: The problem is him.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Yeah, the problem is him. And I know we'll probably
- 11:43Speaker 2: get to that as we go on a little bit further,
- 11:46Speaker 2: but let's go through this a little bit more. Katie
- 11:48Speaker 2: talks about the cheating allegations that she's heard against Jack's.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Apparently he was hooking up with more people in public bathrooms.
- 11:54Speaker 2: We've talked about this before, All these allegations against Jacks,
- 11:57Speaker 2: they always seem to happen in a bathroom. So I
- 12:00Speaker 2: feel like you can only have so many bathroom allegations
- 12:02Speaker 2: before there's probably some truth to it, so.
- 12:05Speaker 3: For sure, but also like, ew, that is my literal nightmare, Like.
- 12:11Speaker 4: It's so gross, Like who is looking up in the bathroom,
- 12:16Speaker 4: Like it's just it's so gross. It's so gross.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Rock openly admits why he thinks Sandival has been a
- 12:23Speaker 2: better friend to Shina than Arianna has. Although most of
- 12:26Speaker 2: the women in the group have had one problem or
- 12:28Speaker 2: another with Shena, Arianna has always been in her corner.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Shina doesn't think she was jealous of Ariana's opportunities. It
- 12:35Speaker 2: was a feeling of being left out. She enjoys validation
- 12:39Speaker 2: from her friends too. I don't know. I mean, I
- 12:41Speaker 2: do feel like a lot of this animosity towards Ariana
- 12:45Speaker 2: it has to do with the show and like you said,
- 12:47Speaker 2: the machine that it is and how it's She's put
- 12:49Speaker 2: up boundaries, but the other women are trying to navigate
- 12:52Speaker 2: those boundaries and also make a good show at the
- 12:55Speaker 2: same time. But also I do think that there's an
- 12:57Speaker 2: element of jealousy there and maybe they would just be
- 12:59Speaker 2: better off just admitting it. I mean, maybe that's what
- 13:02Speaker 2: they just need to say. Look, you know this happened
- 13:05Speaker 2: to you, and it was a horrible thing, and now
- 13:07Speaker 2: you have all these amazing opportunities, and I'm kind of
- 13:09Speaker 2: jealous of all the opportunities you have. And you know,
- 13:12Speaker 2: maybe we want to be included in it more or
- 13:14Speaker 2: hear about it more or maybe not.
- 13:16Speaker 3: I don't know, right, and like or I understand it's
- 13:20Speaker 3: it's definitely not fomo. Let's just get that out of all, right, fomo.
- 13:25Speaker 3: But I also don't believe it's true jealousy. I believe
- 13:29Speaker 3: that the women are happy that Arianna is getting these opportunities.
- 13:34Speaker 4: I just also.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Believe that it hurts them that they have gone through
- 13:38Speaker 3: horrible things and life and been vulnerable and then they
- 13:42Speaker 3: don't get those same opportunities.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Right.
- 13:45Speaker 4: It's like the last time I was.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Sitting and talking with you and I joke about it
- 13:49Speaker 3: and whatever, but you know, it was one of the
- 13:50Speaker 3: first things out of my mouth too, like, look this
- 13:52Speaker 3: happened to me.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Where are my endorsement deals? You know?
- 13:55Speaker 3: Like, yes, I can understand that, but they're just all
- 14:00Speaker 3: roads are leading back to Ariana, and arian it is
- 14:04Speaker 3: the victim.
- 14:05Speaker 2: I'll tell you the difference. Though. You need Shane to
- 14:09Speaker 2: cheat on me with you and then you'll get your endorsements.
- 14:12Speaker 2: That's the problem.
- 14:14Speaker 3: I know, really, I ween u, it's like becoming more
- 14:18Speaker 3: and more attractive.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. I do have to say, though, when I
- 14:24Speaker 2: watched part three of the reunion, every time they panned
- 14:27Speaker 2: to Sena's face, she looked like she was about to
- 14:29Speaker 2: crap her pants. Did she not look terrified the entire time?
- 14:34Speaker 4: Like they kind of cross a little bit?
- 14:36Speaker 2: Yeah, And I was like, oh, shutting down, error error, error,
- 14:42Speaker 2: abort abort. I was like, damn, damn, ga, I.
- 14:47Speaker 4: Hope, I can't wait.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Can you guys clip that up, like just all of them,
- 14:50Speaker 3: because I can't wait for somebody to do that. And
- 14:52Speaker 3: if you guys could be first set again, that's going viral.
- 14:55Speaker 3: That's wat the whole shows were reacting.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Every her face to everything. Katie thinks that Scandal's dislikes
- 15:05Speaker 2: towards her. Did I called him scandabal? I can't even
- 15:08Speaker 2: say scandabal. I had to say scandal dislikes towards her
- 15:11Speaker 2: definitely played a role in her divorce, was Schwartz? I know,
- 15:15Speaker 2: is it possible for somebody's friend to get in their
- 15:17Speaker 2: head enough to create turmoil and their marriage? You know,
- 15:20Speaker 2: I would say yes, but that is a weak man,
- 15:23Speaker 2: That is someone that you don't that is that is
- 15:26Speaker 2: something you know, if Shane was weak enough that his
- 15:28Speaker 2: friends could get in his head and talk crap about
- 15:31Speaker 2: me and say things about me, and if that could
- 15:33Speaker 2: change his opinion of me, that's not someone that I
- 15:36Speaker 2: want to be married to anyway.
- 15:38Speaker 3: So yeah, I agree, But I think that also Schwartz.
- 15:41Speaker 3: I think that was a very young relationship, and I
- 15:44Speaker 3: think that Schwartz was not a strong man through that,
- 15:48Speaker 3: and I think that he did get in his head
- 15:50Speaker 3: and I think it did he But to me, he
- 15:52Speaker 3: does seem like a good person, and so I think
- 15:56Speaker 3: that that relationship, I believe he's going to learn from
- 16:00Speaker 3: that and then take away those things. And I kind
- 16:03Speaker 3: of really do feel like I'm on board with him,
- 16:06Speaker 3: Like I think he's going to find someone good and
- 16:09Speaker 3: he's not.
- 16:10Speaker 4: Going to repeat the same mistakes he did with Katie.
- 16:13Speaker 2: No, I agree. I feel like he had a starter
- 16:14Speaker 2: marriage with Katie. He learned a lot from it. I mean,
- 16:17Speaker 2: too bad that she had to take the hit from that.
- 16:20Speaker 2: But I do think eventually, when he gets into another solid,
- 16:23Speaker 2: long term relationship and he gets married again, I think
- 16:25Speaker 2: he's going to be a great husband. I think he
- 16:28Speaker 2: had to go through those things and learn. Ariana tells
- 16:31Speaker 2: us why Dan didn't come on the group trips to
- 16:33Speaker 2: San Francisco. He wasn't getting paid and he doesn't care
- 16:36Speaker 2: to be on the show. I actually, you know, when
- 16:38Speaker 2: she made that comment, Shane was sitting next to me
- 16:40Speaker 2: and he heard it and he was like, yeah, no,
- 16:41Speaker 2: she probably shouldn't have said that because that doesn't look
- 16:44Speaker 2: good for him, and I would have to agree with that.
- 16:46Speaker 2: I didn't feel like that was to me. It was
- 16:49Speaker 2: if he's committed to you and your relationship, and clearly
- 16:52Speaker 2: you guys started dating when she's on a show. It's
- 16:54Speaker 2: not like the show came after the fact. I think,
- 16:57Speaker 2: as a supportive boyfriend, he should have just done more
- 17:01Speaker 2: with her instead of traveling to San Francisco and just
- 17:03Speaker 2: being off on his own. I don't know, right, like
- 17:06Speaker 2: my boyfriend, yeah, like yours?
- 17:09Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 17:09Speaker 3: Like. I mean, the thing is, he doesn't want to
- 17:11Speaker 3: be a part of it, like she said, he doesn't
- 17:13Speaker 3: want to be a part of it.
- 17:13Speaker 4: I get that travistically does not want to be a
- 17:16Speaker 4: part of.
- 17:16Speaker 3: This, but he understood when we got involved with each
- 17:19Speaker 3: other that this was a part of my life and
- 17:22Speaker 3: my job is to share my life authentically and.
- 17:25Speaker 2: And yeah, he's start of your life, and.
- 17:27Speaker 4: He's part of my life, you know.
- 17:28Speaker 3: And yeah, and that's that. And so he doesn't have
- 17:31Speaker 3: to be in every scene every day. He has his
- 17:33Speaker 3: own life too, But he has to show up for
- 17:36Speaker 3: me the same way that you know, in my last marriage,
- 17:40Speaker 3: when I would have to go all the dinners and
- 17:43Speaker 3: the you know, the banquets and the things. As a wife,
- 17:46Speaker 3: you show up for your husband. You just have to
- 17:47Speaker 3: show up for each other, right, But it was very
- 17:50Speaker 3: new still, like I get, you know, but then like
- 17:53Speaker 3: maybe he just shouldn't have come at all. But then
- 17:55Speaker 3: also she's going to want him there for support because
- 17:58Speaker 3: she's got to be there with him.
- 17:59Speaker 4: I don't know it.
- 17:59Speaker 3: It's I hope that next season, if there is a
- 18:01Speaker 3: next season whatever, that he participates.
- 18:05Speaker 2: A little Well definitely. I just I think she probably
- 18:09Speaker 2: just did herself a disservice by saying that comment, that
- 18:11Speaker 2: she probably could have just kept that out of it.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Yeah, because I don't.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Think that's really what it is either. I just think he,
- 18:18Speaker 3: like he said after, he really just doesn't want to
- 18:20Speaker 3: be a.
- 18:20Speaker 4: Part of it.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Schwartz gets emotional talking about his relationship with Katie. He's
- 18:24Speaker 2: happy with their decision to separate, but that doesn't mean
- 18:26Speaker 2: he doesn't cry or miss Katie either. He'll always love her.
- 18:29Speaker 2: You know, I did think that they had some really cute,
- 18:32Speaker 2: sweet interactions this season, and I felt like there was
- 18:34Speaker 2: still some love there between them, and I actually in
- 18:38Speaker 2: my mind thought that, you know, it would be really
- 18:40Speaker 2: sweet if they ended up getting back together later as older,
- 18:45Speaker 2: more mature, wiser people. So you know, I'm not going
- 18:49Speaker 2: to totally eliminate that. I still think maybe that could
- 18:52Speaker 2: happen at some point, but you know, you never knowd.
- 18:55Speaker 3: I actually like, I feel like they should be really
- 18:58Speaker 3: proud of themselves, Like they're a good example of like
- 19:01Speaker 3: people who can just look at something and say it
- 19:04Speaker 3: wasn't meant to be for whatever reason, timing or we're
- 19:07Speaker 3: different people, or we're different people. Now it's been years
- 19:10Speaker 3: and years, but I'm not going to disrespect what we had.
- 19:13Speaker 3: I'm going to appreciate that. I'm going to take the
- 19:15Speaker 3: good things out of that, and I'm gonna take them
- 19:18Speaker 3: with me through life. And I have love for you
- 19:21Speaker 3: and respect for you. Like what a great message. I
- 19:26Speaker 3: don't really you know, and the show can't be all
- 19:31Speaker 3: horrible stuff like to me, that was like that resonated
- 19:36Speaker 3: with me, and I was really into that for them.
- 19:48Speaker 2: So the twist is announced. They're all watching the last
- 19:50Speaker 2: few minutes of the finale together, okay. So regarding productions
- 19:55Speaker 2: showing them the final five minutes of the reunion on
- 19:57Speaker 2: Katie's podcast disrespectfully, Kate and Arianna had this to say.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Katie said, it feels mean to show them the last
- 20:04Speaker 2: five minutes there, specifically mean towards Ariana. Arianna says it
- 20:08Speaker 2: felt very pointed towards her. She says the producers didn't
- 20:11Speaker 2: get what they wanted to get to break her down
- 20:14Speaker 2: during the finale, so we're going to retaliate by doing
- 20:17Speaker 2: that now while she's contractually obligated to be here. Ariana
- 20:21Speaker 2: then says she gave them the best making ending. Finally,
- 20:26Speaker 2: Arianna says they wanted the Kristin Miami Girl conversation redo
- 20:31Speaker 2: when Tom was crying apologizing to Kristin for cheating, and
- 20:34Speaker 2: she wasn't giving that to them. Okay. So that's that
- 20:39Speaker 2: is Katie and Ariana's take on those last few minutes.
- 20:43Speaker 2: What did you think of production doing that? I honestly
- 20:46Speaker 2: We've never seen anything like that in the in the
- 20:49Speaker 2: Bravo world before, where they clearly they sent them the
- 20:52Speaker 2: finale and said here's the finale episode and they all
- 20:55Speaker 2: watched it at home or whatever, but they left out
- 20:58Speaker 2: those last five minutes where you know, Lalla breaks the
- 21:00Speaker 2: fourth wall and all that goes that all that happens,
- 21:05Speaker 2: you know, I don't know. I mean, what is your
- 21:07Speaker 2: take on that. I don't I understand. Arianna says it
- 21:09Speaker 2: felt like it was just directly pointed towards her, that
- 21:12Speaker 2: all those people just kind of lost it, broke the
- 21:14Speaker 2: fourth wall went off on her, and then she had
- 21:16Speaker 2: to sit there in a room with them and watch
- 21:19Speaker 2: that and see it.
- 21:20Speaker 3: I mean, I mean, I think it was personally though
- 21:24Speaker 3: I understand her being upset watching it, but like, let's
- 21:29Speaker 3: call it what it is. It's definitely shittier for Lalla
- 21:32Speaker 3: than it is for Ariannah because he didn't look good
- 21:36Speaker 3: for Lalla. And you and I both know what it's
- 21:39Speaker 3: like at the end of a season and a pressure
- 21:41Speaker 3: cooker and you are just like saying how you feel
- 21:44Speaker 3: and it's like the word Raman's coming out, and you're
- 21:46Speaker 3: frustrated and your emotion on your anger and you're relieving
- 21:49Speaker 3: and you.
- 21:49Speaker 4: Don't really even't necessarily mean all of it.
- 21:51Speaker 3: And I think Laala was being very true in that
- 21:55Speaker 3: moment of how she felt. But I don't really think
- 21:58Speaker 3: that that's how Lalla feels. I just think, once again,
- 22:03Speaker 3: she's expressing a frustration about all of this situation in
- 22:09Speaker 3: its entirety, but she's putting it on Ariana and that's
- 22:13Speaker 3: her Missy. I think that's her critical.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Error error, right, And I think that was I think
- 22:18Speaker 2: that's where Lala is. She's getting backlash from that, and
- 22:21Speaker 2: I think, but then.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Lala is the only one who wanted to say what
- 22:25Speaker 3: they were clearly all staying.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Behind her back, right, I mean, I totally see both
- 22:30Speaker 2: sides of this. I completely understand Lala's frustration as someone
- 22:34Speaker 2: who's been on a reality show for multiple years and
- 22:36Speaker 2: you do do a lot of talking offline and when
- 22:39Speaker 2: you're not filming, and you know that people feel a
- 22:41Speaker 2: certain way about other people, and then the cameras come
- 22:44Speaker 2: back up and you start filming and you're like, wait
- 22:46Speaker 2: a minute, this is not what you were saying weeks
- 22:49Speaker 2: ago or months ago. So I understand that frustration. I
- 22:52Speaker 2: think her downfall was the fact that and was Sheena
- 22:56Speaker 2: as well, was that none of them actually had that
- 22:59Speaker 2: honest conversation, and during the season when the show was
- 23:02Speaker 2: playing out, they didn't talk about their frustration with her.
- 23:05Speaker 2: They didn't talk about how they were upset or things
- 23:08Speaker 2: that Katie had said previously, or confronted Katie about it,
- 23:11Speaker 2: or tried to have an honest conversation about it. It
- 23:14Speaker 2: just all blew up at the end, and Arianna had
- 23:17Speaker 2: no idea about how this was how people felt. So
- 23:19Speaker 2: to get blindsided by that at the end, I think
- 23:22Speaker 2: that's where Laala and Sheena probably went wrong.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I think one hundred percent yes, And they fear
- 23:29Speaker 3: right like they should have just been talking about it,
- 23:31Speaker 3: because it does seem like a normal frustration that they
- 23:36Speaker 3: would be having. And so to say nothing and then
- 23:40Speaker 3: to have the reunion happen, and like you expect and
- 23:44Speaker 3: what do you expect from Marianna, Like he's not going
- 23:47Speaker 3: to be like, Okay, I'm going to have a conversation
- 23:50Speaker 3: with you, Like.
- 23:50Speaker 4: There is no part of me that would.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Have been able to do that or wanted to do that,
- 23:58Speaker 3: and would do it for a paycheck, you know what
- 24:00Speaker 3: I mean? So I get her point of view, but
- 24:02Speaker 3: they're but I get their frustration too. But yeah, then
- 24:05Speaker 3: they should have been just brave enough to talk about it,
- 24:07Speaker 3: because it's not even like they needed to say anything
- 24:09Speaker 3: that bad. They needed to just be honest, which was
- 24:11Speaker 3: look more frustrated that everything's.
- 24:14Speaker 4: About Ariana right now.
- 24:15Speaker 3: We're over here, we're trying to do all our life
- 24:17Speaker 3: and make money and whatever, and and we're just a
- 24:20Speaker 3: little frustrated by it, you know, And then it would
- 24:23Speaker 3: have played better. Like I just I did feel I
- 24:26Speaker 3: felt bad for La La. I did, But I also
- 24:31Speaker 3: I think she it was the specific comments that sunk
- 24:34Speaker 3: her too. It's like, and she wasn't saying Arianna thinks
- 24:36Speaker 3: she's God. She was saying, now she's got because everybody
- 24:39Speaker 3: else put her on the pedestal, right, but like that's
- 24:42Speaker 3: even a separate issue to be and but to say
- 24:44Speaker 3: directly Arianna thinks she's Beyonce, I don't that one like
- 24:49Speaker 3: that was directed at her, And none of this backlash
- 24:53Speaker 3: should be directed at a girl that got completely three months.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Prior, and a girl who made it clear the entire
- 25:01Speaker 2: season that she wasn't going to sit down. She had boundaries.
- 25:04Speaker 2: She told everybody what those boundaries were. She wasn't going
- 25:07Speaker 2: to film with them, she wasn't going to have a
- 25:09Speaker 2: conversation with him, and she stuck to it, and then
- 25:12Speaker 2: everybody was frustrated that she stuck to what she said
- 25:15Speaker 2: she was going to stick to.
- 25:17Speaker 4: Yeah, you're so right.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like you you should like, Yes, he need
- 25:20Speaker 3: it very clear. I'm setting a boundary. Do not cross
- 25:24Speaker 3: my boundary because it's not I will not move off
- 25:26Speaker 3: of this. And she did that exact thing to the
- 25:29Speaker 3: very end, and now people are mad at her for it.
- 25:32Speaker 3: It doesn't check out right.
- 25:35Speaker 2: So when the flashbacks start, as well as giving her spiel,
- 25:38Speaker 2: I actually enjoyed her monologue, it causes many of them
- 25:40Speaker 2: to tear up. When Sandoval heard himself say that last line,
- 25:44Speaker 2: it was good for me, he shook his head, knowing
- 25:46Speaker 2: he shouldn't have said that. Arianna heard that line and
- 25:48Speaker 2: knew her point was proven. You know, I, Sandoval, I
- 25:53Speaker 2: swear every time the scale starts to tip a little bit,
- 25:56Speaker 2: I feel like in his favor, or maybe he's starting
- 25:59Speaker 2: to look human, or he's starting to look like he's
- 26:02Speaker 2: you know, learned something or he's grown. He just says
- 26:07Speaker 2: something ridiculous, and then you just go he goes all
- 26:10Speaker 2: the way back to square one. Right, Oh, the is
- 26:13Speaker 2: Darius theurious?
- 26:15Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, I mean it's all just there's nothing you
- 26:18Speaker 3: even have to say, because it really just that just
- 26:22Speaker 3: explained itself.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Right.
- 26:24Speaker 3: It's like he was right to now do that, because
- 26:26Speaker 3: all he is looking for is for a way to
- 26:29Speaker 3: make this better. I don't understand why we're giving him
- 26:32Speaker 3: any even three seconds more of attention, Like you want
- 26:36Speaker 3: to do that, you want to You disrespected your cast nets,
- 26:39Speaker 3: you thinked your show, You violated your trust with your
- 26:44Speaker 3: girlfriend that you lived with, and in the most horrible,
- 26:47Speaker 3: trashy way, and now you want everybody to be like, okay,
- 26:51Speaker 3: but we forgive you.
- 26:52Speaker 4: Let's move on and keep making money. And now I
- 26:54Speaker 4: have so much attention and fame and it makes me look. No,
- 26:57Speaker 4: you don't get everything.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Man. Santoval tries to tell Arianna that she knows him
- 27:03Speaker 2: well enough to know he's not acting. She doesn't believe
- 27:06Speaker 2: that she knows him well at all. Arianna says the
- 27:09Speaker 2: line that we've been seeing in all the teasers. I
- 27:11Speaker 2: just want you away from me. I just want you gone.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Arianna says, there was never a time that he tried
- 27:16Speaker 2: talking to her off camera, and he doesn't deny this either.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Sandalbal emphasizes that this is their job, so now we
- 27:25Speaker 2: know the line they show over and over. I just
- 27:27Speaker 2: want you away from me, and him saying you, I
- 27:29Speaker 2: mean when he was saying to her, Arianna, you know me.
- 27:31Speaker 2: You know I'm not acting. I'm thinking you were the
- 27:34Speaker 2: guy that had an affair behind her back for seven
- 27:36Speaker 2: months and you hid it, right?
- 27:38Speaker 3: And also why is it her why did her responsibility
- 27:43Speaker 3: to validate him as a person when once again, he
- 27:48Speaker 3: is not the victim.
- 27:49Speaker 4: He is the perpetrator. She is the victim of.
- 27:54Speaker 3: His crimes, and now the victim has to validate him.
- 28:00Speaker 4: No, it doesn't. Life doesn't work like that, honey.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Sandoval finally gets his apology through to Ariana, saying he
- 28:08Speaker 2: regrets what he did every single day and wears it
- 28:12Speaker 2: as a badge of shame. Again, does he regret it
- 28:15Speaker 2: because it became a global incident that everybody was talking
- 28:19Speaker 2: about and he can't go anywhere without looking like, you know,
- 28:23Speaker 2: a scorned like who he is? Like all.
- 28:30Speaker 3: You got to look like who you really are inside,
- 28:33Speaker 3: the fake person, the veneer that you've been trying to
- 28:35Speaker 3: put up.
- 28:37Speaker 2: So I don't know what Star, if there's really any
- 28:41Speaker 2: weight you do. I don't know if there's any weight
- 28:44Speaker 2: to his apology.
- 28:47Speaker 1: No.
- 28:47Speaker 3: I feel like if he really he needs to just
- 28:49Speaker 3: take time and and get away from it and work
- 28:52Speaker 3: on himself. Right, if he really wanted to change, he
- 28:54Speaker 3: probably would have said, you know what, this year, I'm
- 28:57Speaker 3: not going to do the show or I'm really going
- 28:59Speaker 3: to try to really a change.
- 29:00Speaker 4: And if he really didn't he really And first of all,
- 29:03Speaker 4: it's been ten minutes.
- 29:04Speaker 3: You want people to feel bad for you because after
- 29:07Speaker 3: three months you've been wearing it, You've been wearing this
- 29:09Speaker 3: for a full three months, your affair with longer than that.
- 29:12Speaker 3: You know, it's insane to me. But then also it's
- 29:15Speaker 3: like you, if you really were changing, you would be
- 29:18Speaker 3: sitting there and saying, you know what I mean. I
- 29:21Speaker 3: don't want anything for Mariana.
- 29:22Speaker 4: I want it just is what it is.
- 29:25Speaker 3: I'm willing to accept these laughings and this whatever it is,
- 29:29Speaker 3: for as long as it comes, because I'm the one
- 29:31Speaker 3: who did it.
- 29:32Speaker 2: So here's the thing I do remember, not in the reunion,
- 29:35Speaker 2: but I think in one of the episodes, Tom does
- 29:37Speaker 2: claim that he tried to talk to Ariana off camera,
- 29:40Speaker 2: but then at the reunion when she said, you've never
- 29:43Speaker 2: tried to talk to me off camera. If you really
- 29:45Speaker 2: were authentic about apologizing and wanting to tell me something,
- 29:48Speaker 2: you had multiple opportunities to do it. We're in the
- 29:50Speaker 2: same home. We were. You know, I was in the kitchen,
- 29:52Speaker 2: you were over here. You could have said something to me.
- 29:54Speaker 2: You never did. You're just trying to get your moment
- 29:57Speaker 2: on TV. And I think that's a really valid, valid
- 30:01Speaker 2: thing that she says, because he didn't deny it in
- 30:04Speaker 2: the reunion. Unless they cut it out, I don't know,
- 30:06Speaker 2: but as far as what we see as a viewer,
- 30:08Speaker 2: he doesn't dispute that. He doesn't say, no, I did
- 30:11Speaker 2: try to talk to you. I did try to apologize.
- 30:14Speaker 2: So without him arguing that point, she makes a very valid,
- 30:19Speaker 2: persuasive point that you've had many opportunities and he never
- 30:22Speaker 2: took it. So clearly, yeah, this apology is nothing more
- 30:25Speaker 2: than you want your thirty seconds of TV time so
- 30:28Speaker 2: that the world sees it. Right.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Yeah, And like even if he did try one time,
- 30:33Speaker 3: it's appropriate for her to be like kick Rocks and
- 30:37Speaker 3: like now it's her fault that like what you can
- 30:40Speaker 3: only try what your you only get you tried?
- 30:43Speaker 4: Are you keeping me?
- 30:44Speaker 1: Like?
- 30:44Speaker 4: Try again? Man?
- 30:46Speaker 3: Or like she said, write a letter, leave a letter
- 30:49Speaker 3: like right, you shouldn't reading a letter every day.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Yeah, he has a journal. He's journaling every day, dear
- 30:57Speaker 2: Arianna at the top.
- 30:59Speaker 4: Right, and then rip it out and leave it.
- 31:01Speaker 2: In the then fold it and leave it there. Yes,
- 31:05Speaker 2: Arianna was deeply hurt by what Laala said. She was
- 31:08Speaker 2: being authentic to her life. She didn't want to confront
- 31:10Speaker 2: Sandival because she wouldn't have done that in her real life.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Lala compares her divorce to Ariana and stand of all situation.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Laala didn't get sympathy from most of the cast. Lala
- 31:21Speaker 2: was livid the night Ariana left. Laala loves to film
- 31:24Speaker 2: this show. She's thankful for the opportunities it's given her,
- 31:26Speaker 2: and she needs people to respect her position on the show.
- 31:29Speaker 2: You know, my thought on this is, I understand that
- 31:33Speaker 2: this show is your bread and butter and you need
- 31:35Speaker 2: everyone else, but you can't ask other people to do
- 31:40Speaker 2: things in a way that you want them to do
- 31:42Speaker 2: so that you benefit from the show. When you're on
- 31:45Speaker 2: a cast and it's an ensemble cast. You can't control
- 31:48Speaker 2: other people. You can't control what they think is authentic,
- 31:51Speaker 2: what they say, what they do you and I know that.
- 31:54Speaker 2: So I think even bringing that up and even mentioning
- 31:57Speaker 2: that and talking about that and making it about herself
- 32:00Speaker 2: in that moment, like I need you to step up
- 32:02Speaker 2: to the plate because I need to be on this show,
- 32:05Speaker 2: it just seemed like a selfish ask in that moment.
- 32:07Speaker 2: I don't think it looked good for her.
- 32:10Speaker 4: Yeah, she's digging in, is the problem, you know.
- 32:12Speaker 3: And it's like comparing it to her relationship. She can't
- 32:16Speaker 3: really because nobody had a relationship with her ex, you know,
- 32:20Speaker 3: so that element that relationship and situation is completely different
- 32:24Speaker 3: number one and her ex wasn't a CAT member, so
- 32:27Speaker 3: it's just so different. I really wish and I know
- 32:31Speaker 3: that it wasn't going to happen because I get it.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Her choices were to eat it or dig in. And
- 32:37Speaker 3: I know Lala is a digging kind of girl, which
- 32:39Speaker 3: I expected about her, But in that moment, I would
- 32:42Speaker 3: have liked to have seen her. When I was watching it,
- 32:44Speaker 3: I was like, just apologize and just say, you know,
- 32:48Speaker 3: actually I'm the things that I said. It was hurtful
- 32:52Speaker 3: and it was misdirected anger.
- 32:54Speaker 4: And I really wasn't hurt angry at you.
- 32:57Speaker 3: I was angry at the position that I was put in,
- 32:59Speaker 3: that we were all put in, And I was more
- 33:03Speaker 3: worried about myself than I was about you at.
- 33:06Speaker 4: That time, and I'm sorry for that.
- 33:08Speaker 3: You know, like, it's okay to be human and it's
- 33:11Speaker 3: okay to make mistakes.
- 33:12Speaker 4: I feel like the audience actually likes.
- 33:15Speaker 3: It more when you just keep it real and just
- 33:19Speaker 3: admit when you messed up.
- 33:21Speaker 4: Because at the end of the day.
- 33:22Speaker 3: What has Ariana really done to Lala to deserve taking
- 33:25Speaker 3: those kind of shots?
- 33:27Speaker 4: You know?
- 33:28Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think Lala went wrong where she doubled
- 33:31Speaker 2: down in that moment double down. It's the double down
- 33:35Speaker 2: that got her. It's you're right, like, in that moment,
- 33:37Speaker 2: she could have just she could have just backed off
- 33:40Speaker 2: and shown a little you know, softness and humanity and said, look,
- 33:44Speaker 2: I was just super frustrated in that moment and I
- 33:47Speaker 2: just lost it. But yeah, looking back, it was too much.
- 33:51Speaker 2: I was out of line. I understand that you have
- 33:53Speaker 2: your boundaries and you stick to those, but Laala doubled
- 33:55Speaker 2: down on that one, especially.
- 33:57Speaker 3: When when you're like, Okay, this is the line where
- 34:00Speaker 3: in the sand, I'm going to go this way or
- 34:02Speaker 3: that way, and you.
- 34:03Speaker 4: Go hard the one way and nobody is coming with you.
- 34:08Speaker 4: That's time like put down your weapon and apart.
- 34:13Speaker 2: So Ariana argues that her leaving that night was arguably
- 34:17Speaker 2: a better ending for the show than if she had
- 34:18Speaker 2: sat there and took it. I don't know, do you agree.
- 34:21Speaker 2: I feel like it ended the way it was supposed
- 34:23Speaker 2: to end.
- 34:24Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, I don't think it was like necessarily better,
- 34:27Speaker 3: but I do think that it was authentic, you know.
- 34:30Speaker 4: I think that, yeah, And I think that, you.
- 34:33Speaker 3: Know, if she had sat down with him, I do
- 34:36Speaker 3: think that he would have done the water works and YadA, YadA, YadA,
- 34:39Speaker 3: and honestly, people probably would have just torn him apart.
- 34:42Speaker 3: But like that's not her responsibility, you know, Like her,
- 34:46Speaker 3: she really does have to look out for herself and
- 34:49Speaker 3: protect herself and her heart. And I get that she
- 34:52Speaker 3: wouldn't be trusting of anybody. I mean, you have to
- 34:55Speaker 3: you have, like everybody probably knew what was going on
- 34:58Speaker 3: also with you know, I'm that's part of what I
- 35:01Speaker 3: was thinking, was like, and I understand that production cannot
- 35:03Speaker 3: get involved in say anything. But like, definitely, people probably
- 35:07Speaker 3: knew that was happening. Wait, you know before Arianna knew.
- 35:12Speaker 3: And I can understand her not even feeling safe in
- 35:16Speaker 3: this victim anymore.
- 35:18Speaker 2: You know, Katie has even said that Arianna and Sandoval,
- 35:22Speaker 2: we're not showing the true colors of the relationship on
- 35:25Speaker 2: this show. Lala gets up and starts to walk away
- 35:28Speaker 2: when she feels like Shena isn't answering an honest question.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Lala feels like she's the only one being truthful, and
- 35:34Speaker 2: she's over it. This is when Lala was just having
- 35:36Speaker 2: a breakdown. She's just over it. Sina looks like she's
- 35:40Speaker 2: gonna shit her pants. We've already said, but she looks
- 35:42Speaker 2: like that the entire time.
- 35:43Speaker 3: I mean, she's she's oh life.
- 35:48Speaker 2: I mean, you could tell that she is just I
- 35:50Speaker 2: can I can imagine that her looking back and forth,
- 35:53Speaker 2: that she's looking at Ariana to see what her reaction
- 35:55Speaker 2: is to everything, like are we good? Are we cool?
- 35:57Speaker 2: Are we not? You can tell she's afraid to answer
- 36:00Speaker 2: the questions that Lala was posing to her, like you
- 36:03Speaker 2: did this, Remember when you said this, you said she
- 36:05Speaker 2: didn't show up her stuff and she's like, I not,
- 36:07Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 36:09Speaker 4: Yeah, it's tough for her shoes, very yeah.
- 36:12Speaker 3: And then she's looking at Lala the same way because
- 36:14Speaker 3: she's walking the line with both of those women, and
- 36:18Speaker 3: it's hard when you don't just when you're straddling it right,
- 36:22Speaker 3: tough place to be right. So it's like and like
- 36:24Speaker 3: Katie clearly just was riding with Ariana, so she was
- 36:27Speaker 3: in like a position of she when you just pick
- 36:30Speaker 3: a thide, it's easier, and Sina was trying to.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Not strat all. She was straddling.
- 36:37Speaker 4: That's the scirit. How long can you hold a split?
- 36:39Speaker 2: My god, that's a long straddle.
- 36:42Speaker 4: That's a long crattle.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Lisa stands up for Ariana, saying she did show up
- 36:47Speaker 2: this season and stated, sometimes it's okay to walk away.
- 36:51Speaker 2: You know, I agree with Lisa when she came in
- 36:52Speaker 2: there and said that she did show up. She did,
- 36:55Speaker 2: she filmed, she had boundaries, She said what her boundaries were.
- 36:58Speaker 2: She made it very clear that's her true, authentic self.
- 37:02Speaker 2: There's nothing more that you can ask someone on a
- 37:03Speaker 2: reality show than to say what they really feel, think,
- 37:06Speaker 2: what their boundaries are. She did that. So that's where we're.
- 37:09Speaker 4: Up even was vulnerable.
- 37:11Speaker 3: Like the last show that we discussed was the one
- 37:13Speaker 3: where she was losing her crap on him, and that
- 37:17Speaker 3: one was like, ooh, like herd to watch because I
- 37:20Speaker 3: was like for her fake, like I don't want her
- 37:24Speaker 3: to have that.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Much heat, end it up.
- 37:27Speaker 4: But also that was honest, you know, like that's real.
- 37:30Speaker 4: And so she did show up to work. She could
- 37:33Speaker 4: have just been like, no, I'm good, I'm good, I have.
- 37:36Speaker 3: My boyfriend, this doesn't even FaZe me whatever, and then
- 37:40Speaker 3: athak her shit, doesn't see but she wasn't.
- 37:42Speaker 4: She was there, She was present, and she was sharing
- 37:44Speaker 4: her truth right.
- 37:46Speaker 2: Sandoval thanks everyone for giving him somewhat of a chance
- 37:49Speaker 2: this season. La La thinks her honesty has put her
- 37:52Speaker 2: friendships with Katie and Arianna in the er, and she
- 37:54Speaker 2: says that she's okay with that. Sheena acknowledges that La
- 37:58Speaker 2: La was her rock this season, and she appologizes for
- 38:00Speaker 2: not speaking out enough. Schwartz tells the entire cast that
- 38:04Speaker 2: they're his family and he loves them. I don't I could,
- 38:07Speaker 2: you know. I got a little cheery eyed at the
- 38:08Speaker 2: end because it felt like the end of not just
- 38:10Speaker 2: the end of of the season, but the end of
- 38:14Speaker 2: the show with monologue and the flashbacks, So you know,
- 38:20Speaker 2: I don't know what's going to happen. I mean that
- 38:22Speaker 2: we're all just waiting and seeing what they're going to
- 38:25Speaker 2: do with this show. I don't know how you go
- 38:27Speaker 2: on from here with this cast. I have no idea.
- 38:29Speaker 2: It's very broken, and.
- 38:32Speaker 3: I'll tell you what Arianna is going on to maker,
- 38:35Speaker 3: but right she's doing a second stint on Broadway, so
- 38:39Speaker 3: I don't know if that budget.
- 38:40Speaker 4: Can't afford her anymore, so she might be you.
- 38:44Speaker 3: Know, that might change things, and maybe some of the
- 38:47Speaker 3: vander Pumpers go over to the valley and that's.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Just kind of the reroute. But yeah, I agree with
- 38:52Speaker 4: you did.
- 38:52Speaker 3: It felt like the closing out of the Shout felt
- 38:55Speaker 3: like the like the whole series finale.
- 38:58Speaker 4: Exactly, you know.
- 39:00Speaker 3: I mean, they definitely put a stamp on it so
- 39:03Speaker 3: that maybe they don't know if it's over or not now,
- 39:06Speaker 3: but if it is, they wrapped it up.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I was like, maybe
- 39:11Speaker 2: they just said, let's wrap this up and because we
- 39:14Speaker 2: don't know what's going to happen. So yeah, but it's
- 39:17Speaker 2: not over, guys.
- 39:18Speaker 4: Huh. They said it's not over. Yeah, but but yeah,
- 39:23Speaker 4: but it did. It did.
- 39:25Speaker 3: Time to breathe is good, but it did feel like
- 39:27Speaker 3: a Swan.
- 39:28Speaker 4: Song, you know. It felt like they definitely need time
- 39:32Speaker 4: to breathe for sure.
- 39:33Speaker 3: And sometimes the ducks will settle and it will continue
- 39:36Speaker 3: on it, but it will just look different and that's entertaining.
- 39:39Speaker 2: So yeah, you know a lot of times I feel
- 39:42Speaker 2: like when they do give a pause in there, it's
- 39:45Speaker 2: because they need people to breathe. They need people to
- 39:47Speaker 2: go live their lives. They need them to do whatever
- 39:50Speaker 2: they need to do so that when they come back
- 39:51Speaker 2: it's fresh.
- 39:52Speaker 3: So, I mean, we had a pause, we had a
- 39:55Speaker 3: pause last year, and now we're about to come out
- 39:57Speaker 3: with our what I think is going to be the
- 39:59Speaker 3: best seasons you or I have hung to the show.
- 40:01Speaker 2: So it's gonna be the best season in eighteen years.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Yeah, so Oxygen help. Yeah, Yeah, that's right.
- 40:10Speaker 2: They in the night by doing a toast with the
- 40:12Speaker 2: something about her sandwiches and and Kyle Chan are the
- 40:15Speaker 2: people who bring them out to everyone. Okay, I just
- 40:17Speaker 2: have to say this. They bring the sandwiches out and
- 40:19Speaker 2: makes her appearance, and then Sandoval has to go up
- 40:23Speaker 2: and make some ridiculous comment to her about make sure
- 40:25Speaker 2: you clean up after this, and then yeah, and then
- 40:28Speaker 2: he's like, I'm just joking, And I was like, can
- 40:30Speaker 2: you not, like, for five minutes, can you not be
- 40:33Speaker 2: a douche? Just yeah, you can't.
- 40:36Speaker 4: No be funnier. If you're gonna be funny, you got it.
- 40:41Speaker 2: You have to be wittier and you you have to
- 40:43Speaker 2: be able to land your jokes better. Because every joke
- 40:46Speaker 2: he tried to get out there during this three part
- 40:48Speaker 2: reunion there were some really cringey ones that I just know.
- 40:52Speaker 2: I was just like, I had like secondhand embarrassment. And
- 40:55Speaker 2: then he makes that cheesy face after he says it,
- 40:58Speaker 2: and he's like so.
- 40:59Speaker 4: Proud of him.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Yes, I'm like, oh, oh god.
- 41:02Speaker 4: He's a comedian, like he's a rock star.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Yes, that's right. The night ends with Arianna and Katie
- 41:11Speaker 2: walking out of the studio together and Sheena comforting La La.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Lines look like they have been drawn. I think we
- 41:17Speaker 2: definitely have some you know, black and white lines. Definitely.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Lala just wants to bake a baby and live a
- 41:23Speaker 2: happy life. So yeah, we'll see what happens.
- 41:26Speaker 3: I felt it for Tina because the problem is like
- 41:29Speaker 3: he knew that he didn't stick up enough for Laala.
- 41:34Speaker 3: He knows what he has been saying offline, and she
- 41:37Speaker 3: didn't stick up enough for Ariana. So it's like she
- 41:39Speaker 3: really didn't choose a side. And I think in that
- 41:41Speaker 3: moment she knows that she probably let both sides down.
- 41:45Speaker 3: And then you have everybody mad at you, and that's
- 41:48Speaker 3: that's a crappy feeling. Yeah, is very supportive of her, though.
- 41:53Speaker 3: I hope he is what you have to do and
- 41:56Speaker 3: you did a great babe, Like he's very nice to her.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to the recap of the Valley. Here
- 42:10Speaker 2: are some of our best moments of the Valley. We're
- 42:13Speaker 2: back in Big Bear preparing for Janet's baby moon. There's
- 42:16Speaker 2: a three hundred dollars baby Necessity's tiered cake. Britney says
- 42:21Speaker 2: Jack's apologize. She then brings up to Michelle that Jack's
- 42:23Speaker 2: talk to her about the rumors. Michelle says Jesse is
- 42:27Speaker 2: doing okay in therapy, but now he's too all over her.
- 42:31Speaker 2: She says she's not really attracted to Jesse anymore. Everything
- 42:34Speaker 2: he does just bugs her. Michelle cries because she wants
- 42:37Speaker 2: to feel what she used to feel. For him. She
- 42:39Speaker 2: worries if something does happen between them, she'll be seen
- 42:42Speaker 2: as the bad guy. Okay, So Brittany says, Jack's apologize.
- 42:46Speaker 2: That's good, he should have. I mean the way he
- 42:48Speaker 2: talks to her is just like you know, you're on
- 42:55Speaker 2: TV and you just don't care.
- 42:56Speaker 4: Yeah, he just really lets it all out. He doesn't
- 42:59Speaker 4: hear him. That's the problem.
- 43:01Speaker 3: He needs a funnel, an audio funnel that goes back
- 43:04Speaker 3: to him, you know, like right, I don't know, yeah,
- 43:07Speaker 3: because he doesn't understand how to communicate, like period.
- 43:11Speaker 4: Right.
- 43:11Speaker 2: And then when Michelle admits that like she's not attracted
- 43:14Speaker 2: to Jesse anymore, I was like, this relationship this is
- 43:17Speaker 2: to me. I mean, obviously we know that they're separated,
- 43:20Speaker 2: but in that moment, it's like, you know, she's completely
- 43:23Speaker 2: checked out. There's no way He's literally.
- 43:27Speaker 4: Saying, I don't want to be in my marriage.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Right. While the women finish setting up, the men are
- 43:32Speaker 2: still on the boat where they prank Jesse as he
- 43:34Speaker 2: goes to the bathroom and they leave him on the platform.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Back at the house, the women finally surprise Janet with
- 43:39Speaker 2: her baby moon party. They play a baby themed game
- 43:42Speaker 2: where they have a chug. Oh, they have to chug
- 43:44Speaker 2: the water from a baby bottle. The women share labor
- 43:47Speaker 2: horror stories with Janet, and when the men finally arrive home,
- 43:51Speaker 2: Danny is wasted. I did feel badly for Janet because
- 43:54Speaker 2: she's like, you know, excited about having a baby, and
- 43:56Speaker 2: then they just show this montage of all the women
- 43:59Speaker 2: like I was a labor for two days.
- 44:02Speaker 4: Horrible, horrible, horrible.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Yeah, like, let me hear these worst stories of youth. Yeah,
- 44:09Speaker 3: like not what you want to hear, especially your first
- 44:12Speaker 3: when you're looking at that belly, Like, I understand this
- 44:15Speaker 3: has to come out, but I don't understand how it's going.
- 44:18Speaker 4: To come out.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Exactly. That night, Jana is having and everybody dress up
- 44:22Speaker 2: as their partner's fantasy for dinner party. Nia was going
- 44:26Speaker 2: to be ranch dressing, but she states that her costume
- 44:28Speaker 2: doesn't come in time. Danny is Jamie Fraser from Outlander.
- 44:32Speaker 2: I have to say I am a huge Outlander fan,
- 44:34Speaker 2: so I have watched that series twice now and I
- 44:38Speaker 2: do love Jamie Fraser, so I was like, oh, oh, oh,
- 44:41Speaker 2: that's my fantasy. Jana is Vanilla. I mean, is Jason
- 44:45Speaker 2: a big Vanilla fan? Is that what that was.
- 44:48Speaker 4: I don't know, I don't I don't understand that.
- 44:51Speaker 2: I mean, I understand. Jason is a hot dog because
- 44:54Speaker 2: Janet loves hot dogs and corn dogs. Oh, I get it.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Oh because you like the sex vanilla. That's right, because
- 45:01Speaker 2: then he talks about how he's Yeah, he's done.
- 45:03Speaker 4: He gives what man, he's right right.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Michelle is a booty call. That's what she wore the
- 45:11Speaker 2: first night they hooked up. Jesse is Harry Styles, Brittany
- 45:14Speaker 2: is a puck bunny, Jackson is an NBA player, Jasmine
- 45:18Speaker 2: is Killanny, and as Danny tries to be in character,
- 45:21Speaker 2: Jesse says he's learned one thing this summer that Danny
- 45:24Speaker 2: is a terrible actor. Okay, if you had to dress
- 45:27Speaker 2: up as as Travis's fantasy for this party, what would
- 45:31Speaker 2: you dress up as?
- 45:33Speaker 4: Oh honestly, I just go with myself. I swear the.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Man loved me like he's just obsessed. Yeah, he's obsessed
- 45:43Speaker 2: with Gina.
- 45:44Speaker 4: What are you going as well? I do?
- 45:46Speaker 2: I mean, I do say Shane is obsessed with me.
- 45:48Speaker 2: We've been married for fifteen years and he is obsessed.
- 45:51Speaker 2: But one butt or I would go as Carmen Electra
- 45:55Speaker 2: because we all know Shane's been a huge Carmen electric
- 45:59Speaker 2: fan since the minute when I first met Shane and
- 46:02Speaker 2: we worked together. He had Carmen Electra as his screensaver
- 46:06Speaker 2: at the office. So huge, Karmen Electra. Who would travels
- 46:09Speaker 2: me for you?
- 46:10Speaker 4: Oh? Like, what's mine?
- 46:12Speaker 2: Yeah? What would your fan be?
- 46:16Speaker 4: You know this already, it's gonna be yeah.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Uh, what's his name? Jimmy Kimmel? Yeah, I forgot ballad.
- 46:26Speaker 2: That's right, right, Yeah, everyone's confused about that one, but
- 46:31Speaker 2: that's okay. She likes the she likes the comedic man.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Michelle brings up Nia and Danny's house search. Nia wants
- 46:40Speaker 2: to stay in the Hollywood Weho area. Danny is saying
- 46:43Speaker 2: the valley is what they can afford. He says, raise
- 46:46Speaker 2: your hand if you have three kids. He actually said
- 46:48Speaker 2: this multiple He's like, raise and if you have three kids.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Nia tells him to stop. Jasmine says he's not listening
- 46:54Speaker 2: to his wife. M okay, let me ask you this
- 46:57Speaker 2: question though, because I have I can see both sides
- 46:59Speaker 2: on this. So Nia always wants to shut up Danny. Like,
- 47:02Speaker 2: I feel like she's very well, she's very poised, she's
- 47:06Speaker 2: very pageant, and I get that that's like her training.
- 47:09Speaker 2: They're very right, eloquent and poised. I don't think that
- 47:13Speaker 2: she's interested in having any kind of personal conversations on camera.
- 47:17Speaker 2: She wants things to be private on a reality show,
- 47:20Speaker 2: but again we're talking about a reality show. He had
- 47:24Speaker 2: a lot to drink, he has things to say, but
- 47:27Speaker 2: she constantly wants to shut him down. And I know
- 47:29Speaker 2: that a lot of people like their relationship. It's very authentic.
- 47:32Speaker 2: You can tell they're very much in love. And I've
- 47:34Speaker 2: said this before. I think that their relationship is great
- 47:37Speaker 2: for like a first season because people are getting to
- 47:39Speaker 2: know them. They're committed to one another. I think they're charming,
- 47:43Speaker 2: but it's not sustainable if she's not going to let
- 47:47Speaker 2: him be himself and talk and have conversations. And it's
- 47:51Speaker 2: just you know, you can't Yeah, no one.
- 47:54Speaker 4: I mean it's just cute.
- 47:56Speaker 3: You're too controlling it. And he's only willing to be
- 47:58Speaker 3: vulnerable about things that she's comfortable being vulnerable about. I
- 48:02Speaker 3: think if this was if they had their own show
- 48:05Speaker 3: on TLC, they would crush it.
- 48:07Speaker 4: But Bravo, you have to you have to, and you.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Have to allow people to see you, and she's got
- 48:13Speaker 3: to let the man have feelings, because it is not
- 48:16Speaker 3: interesting that a man that is attractive with a beautiful
- 48:21Speaker 3: wife that has three kids under three at home and
- 48:25Speaker 3: works and takes care of everything is all.
- 48:27Speaker 4: Both super happy and everything's perfect.
- 48:29Speaker 2: And right, that's not real.
- 48:31Speaker 3: So exactly right through it, and you're right, it's not sustainable. Right.
- 48:36Speaker 2: The next morning, Jesse brings up the text messages again
- 48:38Speaker 2: to Michelle, saying he played it off in the moment
- 48:40Speaker 2: with Jack's He questions why somebody would just make that up?
- 48:45Speaker 2: So honestly, I wondered that too when she told him,
- 48:47Speaker 2: because he was like or when Jax brought it up
- 48:50Speaker 2: and she was standing there and Jesse was like, oh,
- 48:52Speaker 2: I knew that. I already know that, and I thought,
- 48:55Speaker 2: did you really know that? But now he's admitted that
- 48:58Speaker 2: he was basically just he didn't want to give Jacks
- 49:00Speaker 2: the upper hand on anything, so he played it off
- 49:04Speaker 2: like like he knew. But now he's questioning Michelle like,
- 49:07Speaker 2: did you did you send some sexy photos? Yeah?
- 49:11Speaker 4: Like like yeah, in the I can see that.
- 49:13Speaker 3: How He's like, look, this is my marriage and I
- 49:15Speaker 3: don't want to let Jax know anything about my bride.
- 49:19Speaker 4: So I actually understand.
- 49:20Speaker 3: I didn't understand it in the moment why he did it,
- 49:22Speaker 3: but I understand that now because I was like, why
- 49:25Speaker 3: aren't you asking for her phone?
- 49:27Speaker 2: Like right right?
- 49:29Speaker 4: It does make more sense now that he's like okay.
- 49:32Speaker 3: But now that we're private and I know what's being said,
- 49:36Speaker 3: I'm going to need to I want to know what happened,
- 49:39Speaker 3: what is going on, because you don't send sexty pictures
- 49:43Speaker 3: as a realistic Asian, you.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Don't do that.
- 49:44Speaker 4: We're not doing that's the same.
- 49:47Speaker 2: And all this time I thought that's how you were
- 49:50Speaker 2: selling houses. Yes, guys, I thought there were just sexy
- 49:53Speaker 2: pictures of you the lingerie that were going to all your.
- 49:55Speaker 4: It making a lot more money for sales, if that's
- 49:59Speaker 4: what I was doing.
- 50:01Speaker 2: Jesse says he knows the clients differently, but the truth
- 50:04Speaker 2: is Michelle is sketchy about her phone. He did make
- 50:07Speaker 2: a reference that she always picks it up, she turns
- 50:09Speaker 2: it upside down, she doesn't let him see it. That's
- 50:12Speaker 2: to me, those are not good signs. That's red flags
- 50:15Speaker 2: right there. Jesse says after sex this morning, he was
- 50:18Speaker 2: laying there thinking something is off. The energy is completely different.
- 50:22Speaker 2: Michelle makes it clear that she did not send pictures
- 50:24Speaker 2: to anybody. Michelle then insinuates in her confessional that Kristin
- 50:28Speaker 2: has cheated on Luke. I was like, Oh, what are
- 50:31Speaker 2: you doing? Is this a deflection? Are we trying? Are
- 50:34Speaker 2: we like, look over here, don't look at me.
- 50:38Speaker 4: Like I trying to light the fire? Right?
- 50:42Speaker 2: Yeah? Looks right there. Jannet and Brittany go for a walk.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Janet brings up Jackson Brittany's fight the day before. Janet says,
- 50:58Speaker 2: I know you guys don't believe In said wouldn't go
- 51:00Speaker 2: down that path, to which Brittany responds, Oh, we would
- 51:03Speaker 2: go down that path. Brittany says this is the first
- 51:05Speaker 2: time she said the word divorce out loud. Brittany says
- 51:09Speaker 2: she's not comfortable with her body. They never have sex
- 51:12Speaker 2: and didn't try, and they are not trying for another baby.
- 51:14Speaker 2: Janet says they have to do something about this or
- 51:16Speaker 2: it's going to be bad. You know, I really feel
- 51:19Speaker 2: for Brittany in this. I think that, you know, one,
- 51:21Speaker 2: she's dealing with Jackson. He's yelling at her and he's
- 51:24Speaker 2: not kind to her, and he doesn't treat her with respect.
- 51:27Speaker 2: He doesn't put her up on a pedestal like the
- 51:29Speaker 2: other men do with their women, so that has to
- 51:32Speaker 2: be difficult. Then she wants to have another child, but
- 51:35Speaker 2: they're not having sex, so they can't have another child
- 51:37Speaker 2: if they're not having sex. And she's clearly not comfortable
- 51:40Speaker 2: with the way she looks because she had a baby.
- 51:42Speaker 2: I don't think that she's gotten back to, you know,
- 51:44Speaker 2: how she feels, you know. And he's not making her
- 51:47Speaker 2: feel sexy either. He's not right. Yeah, he's not helping
- 51:51Speaker 2: the situation.
- 51:52Speaker 3: So on. I get Britney so much credit because looks
- 51:54Speaker 3: he's a normal woman and like he had a baby,
- 51:58Speaker 3: and like that's what normal, wan, you know, some women
- 52:00Speaker 3: are blessed and like look at me, like I can't
- 52:03Speaker 3: even stop looking at me like that, Like but that
- 52:05Speaker 3: is just like she is blessed and I love her
- 52:07Speaker 3: for it, and she should be champion for how stunny
- 52:10Speaker 3: she is. But so should Brittany and she should all
- 52:13Speaker 3: because she is a beautiful girl. And she also should
- 52:15Speaker 3: be championed for being okay with her.
- 52:17Speaker 4: Body, you know, and that to say stuff.
- 52:22Speaker 2: You know, I think Brittany looks great when she walked
- 52:24Speaker 2: out with the what is it the costume? What was that?
- 52:26Speaker 2: A puck a buddy, puck, a puck bunny? Whatever?
- 52:29Speaker 4: That was?
- 52:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah, funny. I mean she looked hot, her legs
- 52:33Speaker 2: look great, she had fishnets on. I was like, damn,
- 52:36Speaker 2: she looks sexy. I don't understand why he's not all
- 52:40Speaker 2: over her.
- 52:40Speaker 4: Well, I think that he wants to be all over her.
- 52:43Speaker 3: But the thing is like the men don't understand, Like
- 52:46Speaker 3: just because you come, you slide into the bed at
- 52:48Speaker 3: night and you're like pushing your body against us, does
- 52:51Speaker 3: it make us feel beautiful?
- 52:53Speaker 4: It's like when during.
- 52:53Speaker 3: The yeahs opportunity, when you.
- 52:59Speaker 4: Like, that's not romance.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Like if you had told her three times during the
- 53:04Speaker 3: day while walking by her how pretty she looks, then
- 53:08Speaker 3: when you slide in there at night, she's gonna want
- 53:10Speaker 3: to do that because she doesn't feel secure right now.
- 53:13Speaker 4: And your partner's job is to help you feel secure.
- 53:16Speaker 3: Both sides of that coin, right, So he's not She
- 53:19Speaker 3: has a need that he is not fulfilling, and then
- 53:21Speaker 3: he's doubling down by constantly getting She obviously has a
- 53:25Speaker 3: weak stomach. I mean, we can't deny that, Like, you've
- 53:27Speaker 3: got to get that checked out. Or whatever, but he's
- 53:29Speaker 3: on her for alcohol when they're all saying she didn't
- 53:32Speaker 3: even drink.
- 53:33Speaker 4: So, you know, I'm concerned there's a real problem.
- 53:35Speaker 2: I actually think it might be stress related because have
- 53:40Speaker 2: you ever been in like when you're in a relationship
- 53:42Speaker 2: and it's stressful and you don't know what's going on,
- 53:44Speaker 2: You know, you lose weight. I have in stressful situations.
- 53:47Speaker 2: You know, you have diarrhea, you throw up, your skin
- 53:50Speaker 2: breaks out, like stressfully. Stress really affects your body. So yeah, and.
- 53:55Speaker 4: It affects everybody differently.
- 53:57Speaker 2: So and also I do know we said earlier that
- 54:01Speaker 2: Sheena confirmed that Brittany hasn't thrown up since separating from Jack,
- 54:04Speaker 2: So again, that goes back to my theory that he
- 54:07Speaker 2: was probably stressing her out and that had a lot
- 54:09Speaker 2: to do with her stomach issues. And you know, Nia
- 54:12Speaker 2: and Danny go for a walk. Nia says last night's
- 54:14Speaker 2: conversation should have been a private one. She feels Danny
- 54:18Speaker 2: isn't getting her emotional connection to where they live. She
- 54:21Speaker 2: doesn't feel connected to Santa Clarita. Danny says he would
- 54:24Speaker 2: never move as she was unhappy. They come to an
- 54:26Speaker 2: understanding about everything. Again, we talked about this a little bit.
- 54:30Speaker 2: When she says private, I think what she means is like,
- 54:32Speaker 2: not on camera. That's the way I take it. Not necessarily,
- 54:38Speaker 2: not away from the group, but I feel like she
- 54:41Speaker 2: wants these conversations that could be messy or so a
- 54:45Speaker 2: small fracture in the relationship, Like I don't think she
- 54:48Speaker 2: wants them on camera.
- 54:49Speaker 3: So I just, well, I kind of disagree though, because
- 54:52Speaker 3: I think she wants to control of it, because he
- 54:55Speaker 3: did have a conversation with some of the women about
- 54:59Speaker 3: her feet about that situation in the previous episode, so
- 55:04Speaker 3: she is willing to talk about it. He just wants
- 55:07Speaker 3: to have control of it.
- 55:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that makes sense. She doesn't want Danny to go rogue, right.
- 55:12Speaker 3: And she does not want other people that she hasn't
- 55:17Speaker 3: chosen to have the ability to pipe in and give
- 55:21Speaker 3: their opinion about it, which that one thing I guess
- 55:24Speaker 3: I would say. I understand, like, just because you are
- 55:28Speaker 3: on this show doesn't mean that you're and that's her
- 55:30Speaker 3: personal storyline, right, You don't have to offer up your
- 55:33Speaker 3: personal storyline in a complete group setting, but you can't
- 55:37Speaker 3: control it always. And if he your partner is on
- 55:40Speaker 3: this show and he wants to bring it up. You
- 55:43Speaker 3: kind of just got a ride with it.
- 55:45Speaker 2: Yeah, and he also, you know, we always give credit
- 55:48Speaker 2: to the women. The women are always allowed to be
- 55:50Speaker 2: stressed because they're the mothers and they have kids. But
- 55:52Speaker 2: I feel like he also has to have a platform
- 55:55Speaker 2: and be allowed to be stressed too. I mean, he
- 55:56Speaker 2: seems like a very hands on dad. He's involved in everything,
- 56:00Speaker 2: and you know, he had a breakdown the last episode.
- 56:03Speaker 2: He was crying and he was saying it was a
- 56:05Speaker 2: lot and they were dealing with a lot.
- 56:07Speaker 3: So yeah, I mean he's doing the job for sure,
- 56:10Speaker 3: because I feel like Danny really is being open and
- 56:13Speaker 3: honest and vulnerable and authentic, and you know, I don't
- 56:16Speaker 3: have to agree with everything or whatever, but like at
- 56:18Speaker 3: least he's putting it out there and it feels very refreshing, honestly.
- 56:22Speaker 3: So and it is good to hear the guy's point
- 56:24Speaker 3: of view too, because yeah, he is they are true partners.
- 56:28Speaker 3: She's like, I'm stressed, I have postparton it's so hard
- 56:31Speaker 3: all the.
- 56:31Speaker 4: Babies, And he's saying the same thing because he's allowed
- 56:34Speaker 4: to say that because.
- 56:35Speaker 2: He's really ate with he is absolutely Jesse throws a
- 56:39Speaker 2: Friday gentleman's lunch. The best one he's thrown was a
- 56:41Speaker 2: twenty thousand dollars four person, five course meal. Jack says
- 56:45Speaker 2: he and Brittany are stuck with each other forever. Jesse says,
- 56:48Speaker 2: from what he's heard, it's a lot worse for Brittany
- 56:51Speaker 2: than Jack's is actually letting on or I would say
- 56:55Speaker 2: not just letting on, but actually realizing Jesse. Jesse then
- 56:59Speaker 2: gives Jack's adviceaying he needs to work harder at his marriage.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Jesse asked Jacks if he would let Brittany leave if
- 57:05Speaker 2: she wanted to leave, and Jack says, no, absolutely not,
- 57:09Speaker 2: which I mean to me, that was a very strange response,
- 57:14Speaker 2: like are you holding her hostage?
- 57:16Speaker 3: So yes, you should not be giving marital advice just
- 57:19Speaker 3: because you went to the retreat man and then you
- 57:21Speaker 3: put on.
- 57:22Speaker 2: The bean Yeah, the meanie. The beanie does not make
- 57:25Speaker 2: you the marriage guru.
- 57:27Speaker 4: No, you don't hang out advice to anyone. No.
- 57:32Speaker 2: I do find Jesse to be more likable though, as
- 57:38Speaker 2: each episode goes on. It's like you start to get
- 57:41Speaker 2: to he just is what he is, right, Yeah, you
- 57:43Speaker 2: just kind of embrace it.
- 57:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, yeah, he's he's and he's a little
- 57:48Speaker 3: more self aware than I thought he was. Like he
- 57:52Speaker 3: definitely is honestly, like you know, kind of a kind
- 57:57Speaker 3: of a douche, but like he owns it and he's
- 58:00Speaker 3: so he's aware of it, and he's at least actively
- 58:03Speaker 3: trying to work on himself. And I do feel bad
- 58:05Speaker 3: for him because he is clearly in a marriage with
- 58:07Speaker 3: somebody who doesn't want to be with him, and.
- 58:09Speaker 2: I think he knows that, yeah, And I think he
- 58:13Speaker 2: knows that he's aware of it and he is trying
- 58:15Speaker 2: to put the work in. But you know, I don't
- 58:19Speaker 2: know Jack saying. I do remember during this scene, Jack
- 58:22Speaker 2: said that Brittany would never leave him, and knowing what
- 58:25Speaker 2: we know now that they're separated, I would just have
- 58:28Speaker 2: to say that JACKX, you should have tried harder, because
- 58:30Speaker 2: I think Brittany just got to the point where she
- 58:32Speaker 2: was just fed up and she did leave.
- 58:36Speaker 3: Well, yeah, because if you really think that too, if
- 58:38Speaker 3: you really have this attitude of she'll never leave me,
- 58:41Speaker 3: then that no matter what, you never have to really try,
- 58:44Speaker 3: because I exactly I can say what I want to her,
- 58:48Speaker 3: I can gripe and I can make it all about
- 58:50Speaker 3: me all the time because she's never going to leave.
- 58:53Speaker 3: The best thing that Brittany did was say, you know what,
- 58:56Speaker 3: that's not good enough man.
- 58:57Speaker 2: Right, peace out? Yeah all right. Thanks guys for listening
- 59:01Speaker 2: to another episode of Popping Off. Thanks Gina for joining us,
- 59:05Speaker 2: My pleasure,
