- 0:00Speaker 1: It's a fact.
- 0:00Speaker 2: So let's get into the next thing. It's the biggest
- 0:04Speaker 2: money mistake that you can make in your 30s. And
- 0:08Speaker 2: I'll say the biggest money mistake that people can make
- 0:10Speaker 2: in their 30s is not investing early enough with a
- 0:12Speaker 2: systematic plan. Dollar cost average, put money into the stock
- 0:16Speaker 2: market early as possible. Compounding interest is something that has
- 0:21Speaker 2: been described as wonder of the world from Warren Buffett.
- 0:24Speaker 2: I think he said that actually. So just to kind
- 0:26Speaker 2: of give you some perspective on it. QQQ, if you,
- 0:30Speaker 2: let's say you invested, let's say $ 1, 000 a month, and
- 0:35Speaker 2: that might sound like a lot, but let's say you
- 0:38Speaker 2: do $ 250 into your 401k, you do $ 750 into your
- 0:45Speaker 2: brokerage account, you got to find a way to put
- 0:47Speaker 2: money away. And then let's say you take some money
- 0:50Speaker 2: from your tax return every year, let's say that you
- 0:53Speaker 2: put an additional 5,000 lump sum, $ 2, 500 every six months
- 0:54Speaker 2: into the market.
- 0:55Speaker 1: So At age 65, you have.
- 1:00Speaker 2: $ 18 million. And then people be like, well, I don't
- 1:03Speaker 2: want to wait to age 65. Well, you know, you
- 1:07Speaker 2: become 2 million at age 50. You have 400,000 at
- 1:12Speaker 2: age 40. And like I said, that's no trading. That's
- 1:18Speaker 2: no extracurricular. That's no individual stocks. That's just going on QQQ,
- 1:24Speaker 2: what QQQ has done historically. So.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I mean, just that alone, $ 18.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Million is a lot of money. And at $ 68 million,
- 1:35Speaker 2: it's a lot of money. And at $ 52 million, it's like, so,
- 1:40Speaker 2: and of course, the more money you put in, the
- 1:42Speaker 2: other things that you have going on, you know, you
- 1:45Speaker 2: trade and you do individual stocks, you add to it,
- 1:47Speaker 2: you know.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Whatever you got to do.
- 1:49Speaker 2: But earlier that you start, the quicker you will become
- 1:58Speaker 2: Financially free. And that's the biggest mistake is that people
- 2:03Speaker 2: kick the can down the road.
- 2:05Speaker 3: They wait.
- 2:06Speaker 1: They stop. And the biggest thing you hear is to say, I.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Don't want to wait until I'm 50 to have $ 2 million.
- 2:14Speaker 2: But ask how many people are 50 that has $ 2 million.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Dollars, yes. And if that's the case, put more money
- 2:20Speaker 3: in now.
- 2:21Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 2:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Because if you take a survey, the vast majority of
- 2:27Speaker 2: people that's 50 don't have $ 2 million.
- 2:29Speaker 1: So these things just sound good to say, well, I'm
- 2:32Speaker 1: going to wait. I'm going to wait.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Well, you're going to, what's going to happen. You're not
- 2:35Speaker 2: going to do it and you're going to turn 50
- 2:38Speaker 2: and you're not going to have anything. And you wish
- 2:40Speaker 2: that you would have done it when you were 30.
- 2:43Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:45Speaker 2: So that's my, that's the biggest mistake I think people
- 2:48Speaker 2: make is that they don't start investing in early, often,
- 2:52Speaker 2: and have a strategy of how much money they're going
- 2:54Speaker 2: to invest and how much money they're going to put
- 2:56Speaker 2: into it and just be disciplined and just stay with it.
- 2:58Speaker 6: Yeah, I thought it was the biggest mistake we made
- 3:00Speaker 6: in our 30s, but I agree. I think that's the
- 3:03Speaker 6: biggest mistake in 20s, 30s, 40s. Yeah, not doing it.
- 3:06Speaker 6: I think the biggest mistake that I made in my 30s,
- 3:10Speaker 6: and we parted this together, was we were creating an app.
- 3:14Speaker 6: We've told the story plenty of times, but not understanding
- 3:20Speaker 6: exactly the technological components that were needed to create the app,
- 3:25Speaker 6: not knowing what it is to deal with foreign engineers
- 3:30Speaker 6: that didn't live here domestically, trying to take, you know,
- 3:33Speaker 6: a more economical approach to building something out, which, you know,
- 3:38Speaker 6: we thought, oh, we'll pay less, but we'll get the
- 3:40Speaker 6: same product. And, you know, that ended up costing us
- 3:43Speaker 6: some money, but it was a valuable learning lesson. What
- 3:46Speaker 6: it taught me was if I'm going to put money
- 3:48Speaker 6: into something, I better understand it. But like when I'm saying, hey,
- 3:51Speaker 6: you should understand the companies that you're investing in, this
- 3:53Speaker 6: is why I'm super diligent with the companies that I'm
- 3:55Speaker 6: talking about because I know what happens if I'm not.
- 3:59Speaker 6: We've lost money doing that. So yeah, there's a lesson
- 4:02Speaker 6: to be taught there. And now I'm reaping the benefits
- 4:05Speaker 6: of that lesson. Like if you ask me about a company,
- 4:07Speaker 6: I'm going to tell you, if I know it, I'm
- 4:09Speaker 6: going to give you everything I know. If I don't
- 4:11Speaker 6: know it, now it gives me an opportunity to go
- 4:13Speaker 6: learn and do a case study and give it back.
- 4:15Speaker 6: Either way, I'm going to sharpen my tool belt because
- 4:17Speaker 6: now either I know this company, here's everything I know,
- 4:20Speaker 6: or yes, that's a great company.
- 4:21Speaker 5: Let me do some more research and give you more
- 4:23Speaker 5: information on it.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Um, to echo what you said, Rashad, you kind of
- 4:29Speaker 4: took my point, but I love that we're all on
- 4:31Speaker 4: the same page. Um, the biggest mistake that people make
- 4:34Speaker 4: in their thirties is thinking that you have more time
- 4:36Speaker 4: and not realizing that your energy, you're probably as a
- 4:40Speaker 4: man going to be at your peak in your thirties
- 4:42Speaker 4: and sacrifice your thirties to set yourself up for freedom later. Um,
- 4:50Speaker 4: a lot of people called me reclusive and stubborn and
- 4:55Speaker 4: all these terms, but I will say by the time
- 4:59Speaker 4: I hit 34, 35, I was so happy that I
- 5:05Speaker 4: made those sacrifices and I missed out on some things
- 5:08Speaker 4: that I wanted to do short term for the life
- 5:11Speaker 4: I wanted to live longterm, let alone by the time
- 5:13Speaker 4: I got to 40, I was like, whoa, out of here. So, um,
- 5:18Speaker 4: sacrifice now i'm not saying sacrifice time with your family
- 5:21Speaker 4: but a lot of the extracurricular and i know some
- 5:24Speaker 4: of y'all gonna be like well you only get one life.
- 5:27Speaker 3: The other part of that life is.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Very long everyone says yolo you only get one life
- 5:32Speaker 4: you only get a limited amount of time and then
- 5:34Speaker 4: you meet a lot of people who are in their
- 5:36Speaker 4: 50s and 60s with deep regrets or 70s or deep
- 5:39Speaker 4: regrets for not planning for the future and the inflation
- 5:43Speaker 4: data keeps changing i posted this over the weekend 4.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Million is a new 1 million.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Like even what the goal was, as soon as we
- 5:52Speaker 4: got involved in it and found ways to become more
- 5:55Speaker 4: economically viable, they move what the goalpost was in terms
- 6:02Speaker 4: of inflation. So sacrifice your 30s so you can set
- 6:05Speaker 4: up your 40s, 50s, and 60s to live how you want.
- 6:09Speaker 5: Or do what you want.
- 6:10Speaker 3: But I'm telling you, it will work for me. And
- 6:12Speaker 3: it Not related. Not this way. Yep, it's your choice.
- 6:15Speaker 5: It's your choice.
- 6:16Speaker 3: That's my new thing. I don't care what y'all do.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I'm just telling you what I'm doing. Yep.
- 6:21Speaker 1: And you can't be mad at that. And that's the thing.
- 6:23Speaker 1: You can't be mad at that.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Okay, hit the like button and share. Let's go into
- 6:31Speaker 2: the best tech stocks to buy right now.
- 6:35Speaker 3: I don't think they've changed.
- 6:36Speaker 4: This is the thing I love about long-term investing. Quality
- 6:40Speaker 4: remains quality. Non-quality remains quality. And once again, put in chat,
- 6:45Speaker 4: you only need four. I know it's fun because I'm
- 6:48Speaker 4: seeing this online too. It's a lot of, because there
- 6:51Speaker 4: was some pushback about the Robert Kiyosaki debt thing. But
- 6:54Speaker 4: I'm seeing a lot of people love to talk about investing.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Like it's SportsCenter and it's a debate show. And the
- 7:02Speaker 4: only debate is what to buy. And that's relatively easy. Apple, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Q's, VO, VTI, Google,
- 7:10Speaker 4: Eli Lilly. if we took the AI space that there's
- 7:14Speaker 4: like layers that you can go through there, but the
- 7:17Speaker 4: quality company, and I want to be very clear, the
- 7:20Speaker 4: companies to buy today were the same great companies to
- 7:23Speaker 4: buy two years ago. There will be the same great
- 7:25Speaker 4: companies to buy six years from now, even in.
- 7:28Speaker 3: The IPO space there with the exception.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Of maybe the big or the elite eight, there isn't
- 7:35Speaker 4: many IPOs on a horizon that like you need to
- 7:38Speaker 4: just put every dollar into. So, um, The ones that
- 7:43Speaker 4: I mentioned I love, I like what we covered in
- 7:46Speaker 4: this or that today.
- 7:47Speaker 3: But you only need four.
- 7:49Speaker 4: Pick your four that you're going to marry and hold
- 7:51Speaker 4: on to for a long period of time.
- 7:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:55Speaker 6: I'll take the MAG 7 or the Elite.
- 7:58Speaker 5: 8 out of it.
- 8:00Speaker 6: Just because people like, I mean, they should have that
- 8:03Speaker 6: as a foundation. My crown wouldn't count in that MAG 7.
- 8:06Speaker 6: So obviously, I mean, that's the tech company. And I still, again,
- 8:09Speaker 6: think it's undervalued at the price point that it's at now.
- 8:13Speaker 5: That shouldn't come as a surprise that Micron would be there.
- 8:15Speaker 4: I'll cut you off. Do you think most people really
- 8:17Speaker 4: have the foundation or is the foundation trader?
- 8:20Speaker 6: Their foundation is whatever is going to give them the
- 8:23Speaker 6: most growth right now.
- 8:25Speaker 3: And that's a mistake. Can we talk about that? I
- 8:29Speaker 3: know some of you feel like, well, I missed out, so.
- 8:31Speaker 4: I got to make it up with trading gains.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Okay, I get that. I'm a trader.
- 8:36Speaker 4: But you have the best companies on earth. competing, and
- 8:41Speaker 4: even with the thing that the Leopold situation revealed, they'll
- 8:46Speaker 4: disrupt a whole flow of momentum going into some companies
- 8:50Speaker 4: to throw.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Even retail traders off. So I would be remiss if
- 8:55Speaker 3: I didn't bring that up.
- 8:56Speaker 4: I think too many people are gambling through trading, and
- 8:59Speaker 4: I don't even think they have that Max 7 Foundation.
- 9:02Speaker 6: You know, not only are they competing against each other,
- 9:05Speaker 6: it's an interesting time where they've kind of consolidated. If
- 9:08Speaker 6: you look at what Microsoft's done You could just take
- 9:11Speaker 6: this year, where it's come from. You're seeing meta starting
- 9:14Speaker 6: to trend up a little bit over the past week
- 9:17Speaker 6: or so. You've watched what Google's done. Amazon has really
- 9:21Speaker 6: just traded sideways. So they've all kind of consolidated, right?
- 9:23Speaker 6: If you follow from a technical standpoint after the consolidation,
- 9:27Speaker 6: you know, you can see if there's an upper trend
- 9:29Speaker 6: on the way. So those are great. I think I'm
- 9:33Speaker 6: going to. Still say Broadcom. I think Broadcom is such
- 9:35Speaker 6: an interesting story. Even after they reported last week, and
- 9:38Speaker 6: I was saying on Market Mondays, Octane, you got to deliver,
- 9:41Speaker 6: you got to deliver. And we watched him speak during
- 9:45Speaker 6: the earnings report, and the stock kind of pulled down
- 9:46Speaker 6: a little bit.
- 9:47Speaker 5: I just think the custom ASIC space is still.
- 9:49Speaker 6: Something people don't fully understand or grasp.
- 9:52Speaker 5: And some people.
- 9:53Speaker 6: Understand NVIDIA and the role that it's played in terms
- 9:57Speaker 6: of GPUs.
- 9:58Speaker 5: And that's for general purposes.
- 10:00Speaker 6: The advantage that a company like Broadcom has is that
- 10:04Speaker 6: they can make something custom for specific needs. And I
- 10:08Speaker 6: think more companies, as we go on into agentic AI,
- 10:12Speaker 6: and I just want to stop to give credit to
- 10:14Speaker 6: OpenAI for what they just put out with Astra 6, because.
- 10:16Speaker 5: That was absolutely... ridiculous.
- 10:20Speaker 6: And I think South of Brandon, you just sent me over,
- 10:22Speaker 6: they took 100 Vera Rubin chips to create that.
- 10:25Speaker 5: So, I mean, that tells you the amount of compute
- 10:29Speaker 5: it takes to do that.
- 10:29Speaker 6: But more companies, I think, in the future are going
- 10:33Speaker 6: to say, hey, I want my XPU or my TPU
- 10:36Speaker 6: to do this specifically. I don't want it just for
- 10:38Speaker 6: general purpose. It makes it direct. And Broadcom is going
- 10:41Speaker 6: to be at the forefront. I know they kind of
- 10:43Speaker 6: had their projections in 115 billion. I mean, we're talking
- 10:47Speaker 6: about ridiculous numbers for a company that's never done that before.
- 10:51Speaker 6: I think they underestimated it because they're probably, I think
- 10:53Speaker 6: the future growth is going to be pretty exponential. I
- 10:56Speaker 6: would put Broadcom in there and I still, TSM for sure.
- 10:59Speaker 6: It's been my favorite company for years now. They would
- 11:02Speaker 6: be in there. Dell, which reported last week in terms
- 11:05Speaker 6: of its partnerships, American company, the role it plays inside
- 11:11Speaker 6: of those racks.
- 11:12Speaker 5: And then I'll put AMD.
- 11:13Speaker 6: Those are not in the MAG7 because to me, in
- 11:15Speaker 6: terms of tech, they all have a distinct purpose. And
- 11:19Speaker 6: they're going to be leaders in that purpose, whether it's
- 11:21Speaker 6: from GPU to CPU for AMD. Even though that the
- 11:24Speaker 6: GPU market is actually increasing, they all play a distinct role.
- 11:27Speaker 6: And Taiwan, I mean, we've covered so many times.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Rashad, what about you?
- 11:32Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I mean, you got to go with the staples. Taiwan, semiconductor, Nvidia, Micron, QQQ, Apple, Google. Microsoft.
- 11:46Speaker 2: I mean, the story doesn't change when you're talking about
- 11:47Speaker 2: the best tech stocks. You got to go with the
- 11:49Speaker 2: people that's on the leaderboard.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:54Speaker 5: And they're growing too. The leaderboard is growing. You're looking
- 11:57Speaker 5: at more trillion dollar companies than we've ever seen before.
