- 2:02Speaker 1: Yes?
- 2:02Speaker 6: Or no?
- 2:03Speaker 1: I'll put it in the newsroom right now, so help me.
- 2:05Speaker 4: There is one in the newsroom, but the newsroom, Okay,
- 2:08Speaker 4: then shut up?
- 2:09Speaker 1: What's wrong with you, mister coffee?
- 2:12Speaker 2: It's a mister.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Hey, Tony, I've gone into the newsroom and I poured
- 2:16Speaker 3: myself a cup of coffee. They said, Hey, that's our coffee.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Carl, you just gotta shut up and do your job
- 2:21Speaker 1: and quick complaining.
- 2:24Speaker 3: No in the break area, there's not a coffee maker.
- 2:27Speaker 4: All right, you know what, we got a couple spots
- 2:29Speaker 4: to hit. I gotta get to the popcorn moment, and
- 2:31Speaker 4: then we're going to talk about how to handle the newsroom.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Because if you think Ryan Hedrick or John att.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Cruz should keep you from coffee, I can handle those people.
- 2:39Speaker 4: And I don't even have to walk into the building.
- 2:42Speaker 4: We'll get to it in a moment. Guys, civil war
- 2:46Speaker 4: has come to WIBC.

- 4:25Speaker 1: The popcorn moment, Let's go, Let's go, Let's go. Let's go.
- 4:29Speaker 4: It's the story you need to hear to believe. Then
- 4:31Speaker 4: grab your popcorn because there is more. This is the
- 4:36Speaker 4: Secretary of Transportation Shawn Duffy and his wife. Remember they
- 4:40Speaker 4: were on uh, they were on the reality show together.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Was it Road Rules or The Real Worlds.
- 4:45Speaker 4: It was one of those real road things and they
- 4:48Speaker 4: both turned out to be very normal people, very normal people.
- 4:55Speaker 4: And this is a video that came out of Seawan Duffy,
- 4:59Speaker 4: the Transfer Rotation secretary, speaking to his daughter about Harvard,
- 5:05Speaker 4: which makes me think that Secretary Duffy is listening to
- 5:08Speaker 4: this show. And rightfully so all the smart people listen
- 5:12Speaker 4: to this show. Your congratulations, everybody, good on you. I
- 5:19Speaker 4: don't think there's any.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Cursing in this.
- 5:21Speaker 4: There producer Carl so a finger on the dumb button
- 5:23Speaker 4: as always. And so the conversation is it's about Harvard
- 5:30Speaker 4: and her the possibility of going to Harvard University.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Can't say no to Harvard.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Yeah, well, me and mom can say no.
- 5:41Speaker 7: Catholicism to us is everything. It's the basis of our marriage,
- 5:46Speaker 7: it's the basis of our family. So I'm nervous about
- 5:50Speaker 7: the idea of Paloma going to Harvard and we spend
- 5:53Speaker 7: a lot of time nurturing and providing formation for our kids,
- 5:56Speaker 7: giving them an environment where they are deeped in faith
- 6:00Speaker 7: and values, and so the idea of dropping or off
- 6:03Speaker 7: at a place that would undermine that or try to
- 6:06Speaker 7: undo all those things makes me worried.
- 6:09Speaker 5: And again, I don't want them to get one viewpoint.
- 6:11Speaker 8: I want them to get a lot of different viewpoints,
- 6:13Speaker 8: but I don't want them fed only one viewpoint.
- 6:16Speaker 5: This contrary to the way my kids were raised.
- 6:19Speaker 1: My problem is.
- 6:20Speaker 5: We have thought about how we raised you and how
- 6:24Speaker 5: hard we've worked to I think raise what is a
- 6:26Speaker 5: remarkable young girl. If I send you there, I think
- 6:31Speaker 5: what happens is they have professionalized figuring out how they
- 6:36Speaker 5: can take good young girls like you, and I think
- 6:39Speaker 5: corrupt their minds.
- 6:41Speaker 8: You don't have to believe what I believe. You don't
- 6:43Speaker 8: have to have the political viewpoints that I have. But
- 6:47Speaker 8: I do think it's important that you make those choices
- 6:49Speaker 8: for yourself and you have a fair representation of what
- 6:52Speaker 8: they are. And I don't think the Harvards of the
- 6:54Speaker 8: world give you that kind of well rounded paper.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Now, what we said on this show is that you
- 7:02Speaker 4: have to love your children enough to say no.
- 7:06Speaker 1: You have to love your kids more.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Don't send your kids to places where they're going to
- 7:13Speaker 4: be trained taught a push to hate you and.
- 7:16Speaker 1: To hate the nation, and to hate themselves. Say no
- 7:19Speaker 1: to your kids. That's exactly what we said here. That's
- 7:24Speaker 1: the argument.
- 7:28Speaker 4: We raise a children in a society that still believes
- 7:31Speaker 4: at Harvard and the New York Times that these are
- 7:34Speaker 4: somehow lofty worthy institutions that should only get our respect,
- 7:38Speaker 4: that they are the top of the mark.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Those days are over. It's time to remove the sleep
- 7:46Speaker 1: from our eyes.
- 7:49Speaker 4: No one should be sending their kid to Harvard and
- 7:52Speaker 4: think that what they're going to get.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Is an education Harvard accepted. David Hogg.
- 7:59Speaker 4: Case rested, the hardest thing about Harvard getting in Everything
- 8:04Speaker 4: else is easy, and Harvard isn't what it used to be,
- 8:08Speaker 4: and Harvard provides us no value. And the secretary is correct,
- 8:15Speaker 4: by the way, in parts of that conversation, the same
- 8:17Speaker 4: conversation I have.
- 8:17Speaker 1: With my own kids.
- 8:18Speaker 4: You absolutely do not have to believe what I believe.
- 8:20Speaker 4: You are your own men. You're going to make your
- 8:22Speaker 4: own decisions. But no, I'm not going to put you
- 8:25Speaker 4: in places that are desperate to destroy you, not happening
- 8:33Speaker 4: good on the Secretary. Use it as a model. You
- 8:36Speaker 4: don't use my words, use his words, use some combination,
- 8:39Speaker 4: use your own. Love your kids enough to say no.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Outrageously important
