- 1:58week And that's the way life is we do two hours
- 2:00in a row But we don't like to have two hour programs
- 2:03like Don and Mike Sullivan So or two and a half
- 2:07hours however long, you know, they can go on
- 2:08forever. Love you guys could you do a thirty
- 2:14steve mogg was five and a half six hour long

- 2:20steve he's he's got a he's got a cool kenyan
- 2:23accent and very he's very uh charismatic but
- 2:27he's not he's not charismatic but you know what
- 2:29i mean he has a lot of charisma anyway so we're
- 2:33back after last week we you guys saw that we
- 2:35We just talked about the Book of Acts. We talked
- 2:37about many things that we're going to find in
- 2:39the Book of Acts. And I just wanted to kick off
- 2:42with you, Shelley, because you didn't get really
- 2:44a whole lot of time to talk. You kind of popped
- 2:46in at the end there. Do you have any things without
- 2:50knowing what we talked about in that last one?
- 2:53How about you share some insights for things
- 2:55that you think about in regard to the Book of
- 2:57Acts? You know, I just recently really started.
- 3:01getting into the book of Acts. It was something
- 3:04that for years I never focused on enough. And
- 3:06I think it's because there's so much happening
- 3:09in the book of Acts. And it was hard for me to
- 3:12keep things straight. But now as I've been studying
- 3:15it, it's amazing just to read how you can see
- 3:19so many of the signs that Jesus talked about
- 3:23in the Olivet Discourse actually coming to pass
- 3:26and being written about. in the book of Acts
- 3:29and you know the more that I compare the two
- 3:32of them there's just the more amazing God is
- 3:35to me when when you just see all of these uh
- 3:38fulfillments happening and being recorded I just
- 3:42I love the book of Acts now I'm certainly no
- 3:45expert on it but I just love reading about this
- 3:48now Yeah. Well, same here. I, that's one of my
- 3:52favorite books. Hebrews is my favorite book,
- 3:54like of the whole Bible. I love that book, but
- 3:57axis is one of the top five for me for sure.
- 4:01Yeah. But book of John book of John book of John.
- 4:04Yeah. It's w who was it? David Pawson used to
- 4:07say, when everybody asked me what's my favorite
- 4:09book of the Bible, I would say the one I just
- 4:12read and you know, it's always whichever one
- 4:14he's in. So, all right. So Karen O'Shea, would
- 4:19you be willing to open us up in prayer before
- 4:21we get into the scriptures? Yes, let's go to
- 4:24Jesus. Father, I thank you so much, Lord, that
- 4:27you love us, that you have called us. Father,
- 4:31you've made a way for us to know you. You've
- 4:33come to us. You have raised us from the dead
- 4:36into a newness of life. Father, from the darkness
- 4:41of sin into the beautiful light. of righteousness
- 4:45and right dwelling with you, Father. We're so
- 4:48very grateful. And Lord, my precious brothers
- 4:52and sisters here, as we spend the next few minutes
- 4:54together from all over the country, Lord, would
- 4:57you magnify yourself? Would you bring honor and
- 4:59glory to yourself? We so desire to know you,
- 5:04to walk with you, to grow in Christ, to bear
- 5:08fruit and more fruit. We so desire that intimate
- 5:12fellowship with you We so desire, Lord, to be
- 5:15used by you to impact and affect the people around
- 5:20us, the ones close to us, the ones we don't know
- 5:23yet, the ones we see regularly, the ones that
- 5:25we're only going to see one time. Father, would
- 5:28you do what only you can do in the hearts of
- 5:31man and save those around us and give us these
- 5:34opportunities continually to mentor, to disciple,
- 5:37to show the love of Jesus Christ to the blind,
- 5:41to the lame? those who are dead spiritually father
- 5:44help us to be your light and would you save babies
- 5:48today all over the world would you save these
- 5:52precious babies in the womb and would you call
- 5:55mamas and daddies all over the world out of darkness
- 5:58into your light today father we just praise you
- 6:01we worship you we love you and it is in the beautiful
- 6:05name of our friend Jesus that we pray amen Amen.
- 6:09Amen. What a friend we have in Jesus. I love
- 6:12that song. Precious friend. Yes. Beautiful prayer.
- 6:16Absolutely. Thank you, Karen. Oh, my pleasure.
- 6:19Thank you. All right. So Shelly, without further
- 6:27ado, I'm going to put this up on my screen. I
- 6:29want to see if you can actually read it because
- 6:30I didn't test you the last time that you were
- 6:32here. So can you see what's on the screen? I
- 6:40can if I squint very hard just because I don't
- 6:42have good vision, but I can't see it. How about
- 6:46this? Can you do it if you're doing this right
- 6:49here? If I look at my blindfolds, I can't see
- 6:53you. Well, we're going to be in the Book of Acts,
- 6:56guys. If you can't see, please grab your Bibles
- 6:59or get your trusty phones or whatever you need.
- 7:03If you can see it on the screen, great. I hope
- 7:05you guys can. What translation am I using, Rick?
- 7:10I've got the NASB up right now, but you... Cool.
- 7:14That's what I have, so... Is everybody okay with
- 7:17that? I did the CSB and I read it a little bit
- 7:19and I don't like it. I'm sorry, OJs. Okay. It
- 7:22took out the earnest. It took out stuff. I was
- 7:24like, come on. Don't take that out. OJs, y 'all
- 7:28are people after Mom and Dad. Yeah. Big Daddy
- 7:31uses the CSB. Big Daddy, we're live there. We're
- 7:35new American standard. Then we're ESB years.
- 7:37Then we're, you know, CSB years. Who knows? Well,
- 7:44if you don't use the King James version, then
- 7:47you may tell you something. All right. Yeah.
- 7:49Cause the new, the King James, uh, interprets
- 7:51the Greek, I think. The one that doesn't have
- 7:55all my notes in it. I don't care what the Greek
- 7:57said. This one dripped out of heaven and King
- 8:01James English. This is going to be a discussion
- 8:03for another night, guys. It is. Just so you know,
- 8:06I live in the place where that's a big deal.
- 8:10Are we acting like burros now? Yes, this is the
- 8:13burros. Welcome. Yeah, very, very, yeah. Speculate
- 8:16on that, sucker. All right, so. Eric O'Shea,
- 8:21would you be willing to read the first seven
- 8:23verses of this chapter, Acts chapter one? Yeah,
- 8:28let's go. The first account I composed, Theophilus,
- 8:31about all that Jesus began to do and teach until
- 8:34the day when he was taken up to heaven after
- 8:37he had by the Holy Spirit given orders to the
- 8:40apostles whom he had chosen. To these he also
- 8:45presented himself alive. after his suffering,
- 8:49by many convincing proofs, appearing to them
- 8:52over a period of forty days, and speaking of
- 8:54things concerning the kingdom of God. Gathering
- 8:57them together, he commanded them not to leave
- 9:02Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had
- 9:07promised, which he said, You heard of from me,
- 9:13For John baptized with water, but you will be
- 9:16baptized with the Holy Spirit, not many days
- 9:19from now. So when they had come together, they
- 9:22were asking him, saying, Lord, is it at this
- 9:26time you are restoring the kingdom of Israel?
- 9:29He said to them, It is not for you to know times
- 9:32or epochs which the Father has fixed by his own
- 9:35authority, but you will receive power when the
- 9:39Holy Spirit has come upon you, and ye shall be
- 9:42be witnesses both in Jerusalem and all Judea
- 9:46and Samaria and even to the remotest parts of
- 9:50the earth Thank you, Eric. And so Karen Rogers
- 9:53right out of the gate This is doing exactly what
- 9:56you said the book of Acts was gonna do because
- 9:58what does he tell him? I want you to wait Because
- 10:02of what the father promised. That's right. He's
- 10:05coming right out of the gate Theophilus I'm gonna
- 10:08tell you about all of the things Jesus did and
- 10:11what he taught and told to the Apostles whom
- 10:13he had chosen and that He did all of this and
- 10:18now he's telling them wait right now to not leave
- 10:21Jerusalem Why because that's where the spirits
- 10:23coming the spirits coming to Jerusalem, which
- 10:25is in the Great Commission That's what he says
- 10:28at the end of the gospel stay in Jerusalem, right?
- 10:30Then go to Judea and Samaria in the outermost
- 10:32parts of the earth. So that that lines up well
- 10:35So and he tells you right out of the gate Go
- 10:37ahead. There's many verses there to back that
- 10:40up, that he promised it is the promise of the
- 10:42Father, which you can find in the Old Testament,
- 10:45and Jesus himself promised it. He says in Luke
- 10:4824, 49, Behold, I send the promise of my Father
- 10:53upon you, but tarry in the city of Jerusalem
- 10:55until you are endued with power from on high.
- 10:59The power is from the Holy Spirit, and that's
- 11:01in Ephesians. And then the promise in the Old
- 11:05Testament was Joel 2, 28, That he pour out his
- 11:08spirit on all flesh and it's also in Ezekiel
- 11:1130 It's an Ezekiel 36 26 and 27 He promises the
- 11:20spirit. So the Old Testament promises the spirit
- 11:22and Jesus over and over in the book of John He
- 11:25promises that he's gonna send the spirit to help
- 11:28and to teach and the spirit is the power the
- 11:31presence of God There's a lot of verses. I could
- 11:34go through them, but I don't know if you want
- 11:36me to I mean, hammer down. That's what we're
- 11:40doing is cross biblical reference. And then guys,
- 11:42if anybody wants to ask questions or they have
- 11:44anything else they want to bring up in regard
- 11:45to these first seven verses, please do. I actually,
- 11:49as I was reading through this regarding them
- 11:51being commanded not to leave Jerusalem, it actually
- 11:55made me think of Luke 21 20. where Jesus told
- 12:00them that they should leave Jerusalem when they
- 12:03see the army surrounding it. And it just made
- 12:06me compare the fact that they were told to not
- 12:10to leave Jerusalem here because they were waiting
- 12:12for the Holy Spirit. And then what happened in
- 12:15the destruction of Jerusalem when they were told
- 12:17to leave, what happened? The presence of God
- 12:19that it departed the temple. And to me, that
- 12:22just reminded me of the Holy Spirit then departing.
- 12:25But now in Acts, they're being told to wait for
- 12:28the Holy Spirit. So just something that I thought
- 12:31about I got a question. It's interesting good.
- 12:34I got a question that so obviously this is after
- 12:40The crucifixion of Christ is burial in his resurrection
- 12:44At what point are we saying the old covenant
- 12:48is starting to wait wait wait wait wax away When
- 12:52is the new covenant starting? Is it starting
- 12:54now? Now as in the book of Acts. Yeah, I'm just
- 13:00just This is a this is a big daddy type question
- 13:04Hey, I think that when he had when he asked we
- 13:07were they asked when you restore the kingdom
- 13:09They're asking about the New Covenant. So I think
- 13:12it has it started, right? Is it is it is it is
- 13:16this a time whenever it's starting? Covenant
- 13:20covenant. Have you ever looked at John chapter
- 13:2220 or verse 22? That's where Jesus when he had
- 13:28said this he breathed on them and said to them
- 13:30received the Holy Spirit Yeah, that's not the
- 13:33coming on an axe. That's not it's before They're
- 13:37getting life guys Have you ever considered maybe
- 13:41the disciples for three and a half years hadn't
- 13:44got life yet? Yeah, Jesus took care of everything
- 13:47they did there because it also says in 1st Corinthians
- 13:5115 if you If Christ is not raised from the dead,
- 13:56then your faith is futile. And in John, several
- 14:00places, it says they didn't know yet about the
- 14:02resurrection. So I think this is when they got
- 14:05life. Then 10 days later, they were placed in
- 14:09Jerusalem. Remember I said earlier about Adam
- 14:11in the garden? They're already in Jerusalem though,
- 14:16Danny. Yeah. No, no, I'm saying Jerusalem is
- 14:19the new garden. It's where the power is going
- 14:23to come on them. Remember, he tells Peter and
- 14:27John three times, he says, tend my sheep. Well,
- 14:34he told Adam, tend and work my garden. So I'm
- 14:38saying that was the first covenant. The second
- 14:41covenant, he just asked is starting. They've
- 14:44got life breathed into them. They're in Jerusalem
- 14:47and the power is going to come in 10 days. And
- 14:49then Peter does Pentecost. The reason I ask this
- 14:53is because for nearly 30 years, up until AD 70,
- 15:01sacrifices were still being made. Is this the
- 15:09initiation of the new covenant by through the
- 15:13empowering of the Holy Spirit when Jesus is telling
- 15:15them, wait here, because you're going to be filled
- 15:20with a new power that you've never had before.
- 15:24I'm just asking, Rick Welch, would this be considered
- 15:28part of the inauguration of the new covenant
- 15:32being in birth? Is it a little bit before that?
- 15:38Think it's during the Last Supper is whenever
- 15:40he's initiating the new covenant because that's
- 15:43true the bread and he hands the wine and he tells
- 15:45him You know, this is my body. This is the blood
- 15:48of my covenant So he's talking about this new
- 15:50covenant that he's giving to him and that's when
- 15:52they initiate it Yeah, but that's prior to his
- 15:54crucifixion, but that's all within the same period
- 15:57because he has within 24 hours. Yeah Yeah, I'm
- 16:00this is all branded. This is why Yes, this is
- 16:03within 24 to 48 hours since then Yeah, I mean
- 16:07some like I think big daddy and I we talked about
- 16:09this once before we often ask What happened at
- 16:12the baptism of Christ? Because it's such a unique
- 16:15moment. This is my beloved son and whom I'm well
- 16:18pleased, you know, and then later at the transfiguration
- 16:21This is my beloved son here him. There's all
- 16:23kinds of things that are happening Throughout
- 16:26this three and a half year ministry, right? when
- 16:30Jesus goes and is tempted by the devil in the
- 16:33wilderness. And then he comes back and he's at
- 16:36Nazareth and he says, Hey, today, these things,
- 16:38the year of the Lord's favor is fulfilled in
- 16:40your hearing. That's a moment, right? So the
- 16:44Messiah has come. He's revealed himself to the
- 16:47woman in Samaria, the well, like he's talking
- 16:49about it, but the new covenant itself, we know
- 16:52he's bringing it, but I think he initiates it
- 16:55during right, you know, on the night before the
- 16:58Passover, whenever he gives them. Yeah, because
- 17:02it says there in verse 1 that, you know, Luke's
- 17:05saying, hey, Theophilus says, I'm going to tell
- 17:07you all about, I just told you about all the
- 17:10things, you know, Jesus did and began to teach
- 17:13until the day he was taken up. After he had given
- 17:18instruction through the Holy Spirit to the apostles,
- 17:21he had chosen. So there is this transition that's
- 17:26happening. Obviously, there's a transition from
- 17:28the cross His death, burial and resurrection,
- 17:31and now he's hanging out with him a few more
- 17:33days and he's about to be taken up into heaven.
- 17:37So this is, I'm just thinking out loud here from
- 17:42the time, like you said, from the supper, the
- 17:48last supper there, to now, this is really whenever
- 17:52it's starting to become real to these men that
- 17:57are about to watch him go up. Yes, I would agree.
- 18:02Karen, did you have a Karen Rogers? Did you have
- 18:04more verses that were ready? I do. But there
- 18:07was another thing that I thought of, and I don't
- 18:09know if this means anything, but Solomon was
- 18:11given the spirit of wisdom and then he built
- 18:13the physical temple and the apostles were given
- 18:17the Holy Spirit and they sent out the temp. We
- 18:22became the temple, the church, the new temple.
- 18:25It's it's I don't know if there's anything there,
- 18:28but yeah. It's a thought of a foreshadowing from
- 18:31the physical to the spiritual. Anyway, note that
- 18:35the verses I wanted to give that show that the
- 18:37promise of the Father and also Jesus said that
- 18:41I spoke of, he spoke of it in John, he spoke
- 18:43of it in Luke, how they would get the Holy Spirit
- 18:46and they'd have power. And it's better that he
- 18:48would go, that they would get the spirit. So
- 18:50Jesus promised it, but it goes back to the promise
- 18:52being of the Father because Ezekiel 36 verses
- 18:5626 says, I will give you a new heart and put
- 18:59a new spirit within you. I will take the heart
- 19:01of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart
- 19:03of flesh. I will put my spirit within you and
- 19:07cause you to walk in my statutes and you will
- 19:09keep my judgments and do them while we do that
- 19:11through Christ. And then the other one that's
- 19:14an Ezekiel is I will put my spirit in you and
- 19:17you shall live. And that's an Ezekiel 37, 14.
- 19:21And then the Joel verse is Peter says this is
- 19:25what Joel was talking about when we get the spirit.
- 19:28And that is Joel, I think 228. Let me see if
- 19:34I have that somewhere here. Uh, he does. Peter
- 19:41talks about it. Yeah. He talks about it next
- 19:44chapter two. That's right. Yeah. Cause that's
- 19:46what Joe Oh, here it is. It says that I will
- 19:48pour out my spirit on all flesh. Okay. And then
- 19:51you have the, the promises that Jesus said, we've
- 19:55got that in Luke 24, 49, which I read. Then you
- 19:58have John 14, 16. He says, I will pray the father
- 20:04and he will give you another helper that he may
- 20:07abide with you forever The spirit of truth whom
- 20:10the world cannot receive because it neither sees
- 20:12him nor knows him But you know him for he dwells
- 20:15with you and will be in you. I will not leave
- 20:18those orphans I will come to you maybe coming
- 20:21as the Holy Spirit there And then the other thing
- 20:24in 15 in John 15 He says um Which one was 15?
- 20:31I think it was 26 He says, but when the helper
- 20:36comes whom I shall send to you from the father,
- 20:40the spirit of truth who proceeds from the father,
- 20:43he will testify of me and you will be bear witness
- 20:46because you have been with me. So he's the spirit
- 20:49comes from the father and Jesus sends him after
- 20:52he's glorified. And there's also some really
- 20:55interesting verses about the spirit being like
- 20:58the river of living water. Whereas John chapter
- 21:047 and this also goes with Revelation. John chapter
- 21:067 verse 38 he says, he who believes in me as
- 21:10the scripture has said out of his heart will
- 21:12flow rivers of living water but this he spoke
- 21:17concerning the spirit whom those believing in
- 21:20him would receive for the Holy Spirit was not
- 21:22yet given because Jesus was not yet glorified.
- 21:25So he's calling the spirit rivers of living water
- 21:29And when you go to Revelation, you're reading
- 21:31the last chapter of the Bible, and it says, And
- 21:35He showed me a pure river of water of life, clear
- 21:38as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God
- 21:40and the Lamb. And I think the river is flowing
- 21:45from God. I think it's the Holy Spirit, and He's
- 21:48the living water that we have, that we never
- 21:51thirst. And then Revelation 21, verse three says
- 21:55behold the tabernacle of God is with men and
- 21:58he will dwell with them and they shall be his
- 22:00people God himself will be with them and be their
- 22:02God that's when God comes down as the Holy Spirit
- 22:05it's not us going up so really the end of Revelation
- 22:08is showing that God with us is in the Holy Spirit
- 22:12at least that's the way I see it The other thing
- 22:19too about the power when it says, you shall receive
- 22:22so much right in those first seven verses, verse
- 22:24eight, but when you shall receive power, when
- 22:27the Holy Spirit has come upon you. So that power
- 22:29is also spoken of in Ephesians three, 16. Is
- 22:36it three, 16? Let me go there. Ephesians three.
- 22:41So it's the presence of God. It's the power.
- 22:44And there's so much in those first few verses.
- 22:47About the promise. Okay. Let me go to Ephesians
- 22:513 316 it says He would that he would grant you
- 23:00according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened
- 23:02with might through his spirit in the inner man
- 23:07That Christ may dwell in your heart through faith.
- 23:09So there's the strength of the Holy Spirit in
- 23:11our inner man it's it's really the power and
- 23:14the presence is in the spirit and I don't think
- 23:16we Grab a hold of that enough and really spend
- 23:21time listening to the Holy Spirit That's what
- 23:23I work on in my life is just spending quiet time
- 23:26not asking God but just listening and I don't
- 23:30always hear something it's usually wait wait
- 23:32wait wait wait, so I keep waiting because the
- 23:36Bible does say wait on God don't run before him
- 23:39and I think if we do we miss What he has for
- 23:43us what he's actually trying to do through us.
- 23:45We we're not doing it. He's doing it through
- 23:47us It's interesting that he tells you to wait
- 23:50and that's exactly what Jesus tells the disciples
- 23:52to do. Yeah, wait wait Yeah, because our timing
- 23:56is not God's timing and when it's time he will
- 23:59tell us But we get impatient We get very impatient.
- 24:03I mean look at the Old Testament. They waited
- 24:0540 years I mean it was not uncommon to wait a
- 24:08long time. Look at them having I having Isaac
- 24:12you know all the things they were they had to
- 24:15wait were in such a microwave society. I don't
- 24:18think we know how to sit still and listen for
- 24:20God and I think I have to set a buzzer for five
- 24:24minutes because my mind starts wandering so it
- 24:27really does take practice just to sit and try
- 24:30to get God's presence to her to speak to you.
- 24:35You know and stop with the busy busy busy and
- 24:37prayers going out. It's it's definitely takes
- 24:40work. Yeah Yeah Does anybody else have anything
- 24:44they'd like to say about these first seven verses
- 24:46before we move on? our first eight verses before
- 24:49we go on to verse 9 through 11 because 9 through
- 24:5211 will take the rest of this Well, very quickly
- 24:56then in excuse me verse 2 apostles he had chosen
- 25:02and maybe at some point in time we can address
- 25:07the fact that people today call themselves, entitle
- 25:13themselves as apostles. But we see here one of
- 25:17those requisites is that Christ chose them, the
- 25:22Holy Spirit chose them. And then of course, we're
- 25:25going to get into the election or the lot of
- 25:29Matthias or Mathias taking the place of that.
- 25:32and what their requirements were for apostleship.
- 25:40So just be aware of what an apostle actually
- 25:43is, therefore what it is not. Very good. There's
- 25:46Adrian. Adrian's back in the screen. Hello, Adrian.
- 25:51All right. So, no, don't worry about it. It's
- 25:53great. So here we go. I'm going to fire it off.
- 25:57Let's see. So Shelly, you said you're using the
- 26:00NASB. Yes. Do you have it in front of you? Yep,
- 26:05would you read verses 9 through 11? Sure and
- 26:09after he had said these things he was lifted
- 26:12up while they were looking on and a cloud received
- 26:15him out of their sight and As they were gazing
- 26:18intently into the sky while he was going behold
- 26:21two men in white clothing stood beside them They
- 26:25also said men of Galilee. Why do you stand looking
- 26:27into the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up
- 26:30from you into heaven? will come in just the same
- 26:33way as you have watched him go into heaven. All
- 26:38right. So obviously these verses come up a lot
- 26:43in our circles. A lot of people who argue against
- 26:48a fulfilled eschatology would be like, see, this
- 26:51hasn't happened. But before we get into that,
- 26:53I want to ask you guys a couple of questions
- 26:55too. After he said these things, he was lifted
- 26:59up while they were looking on and a cloud received
- 27:02him out of their sight. Now cloud is that like,
- 27:08does that word, you know, hit you in the head
- 27:11at all about clouds when it comes to the son
- 27:16of man, when it comes to the way that cloud imagery
- 27:19is used in the Old Testament, we think of cumulonimbus
- 27:23clouds, we think of serious clouds or whatever.
- 27:26But this cloud that receives him out of their
- 27:28sight, do you think this is a unique kind of
- 27:31cloud? Or is it a UFO spaceship? Or is it a unique
- 27:35kind of cloud? Well, I think we have to consider
- 27:40how cloud is used elsewhere. It's the glory of
- 27:45God. It's the judgment of God. It's the power
- 27:47of God. It reflects the divinity of God. In Psalm
- 27:51104, verse three, Matthew 24, 30, Isaiah 19,
- 27:55one. Exodus 13, 21 -22, Exodus 40, 34 -35, 1
- 28:01Kings 8, verses 10 -11, all throughout scripture
- 28:06we see that a cloud is referencing the glory
- 28:09of God, the judgment, the power, and the divinity.
- 28:13And so if Jesus, if a cloud is coming to receive
- 28:16Him, did they see a... Cumulus cloud come down
- 28:24and cover him up and lift him up. That would
- 28:26be a miracle That would be a supernatural event
- 28:29if the cloud could lift anything and take it
- 28:33out of sight so is is that an actual realistic
- 28:37cloud or is that part of or a manifestation of
- 28:44the glory of God coming to put Jesus at the right
- 28:49hand of God the Father as we see in Ephesians
- 28:51so that's a thought regarding cloud also wasn't
- 28:56the priest in and out of the temple when they
- 28:59did the day of atonement it was the incense and
- 29:03when he came out thumbs up so when he's taken
- 29:06up isn't that the priest you know Hebrews talks
- 29:09about he is the priest going up to the literal
- 29:13spiritual realm And so is that maybe the incense
- 29:17of the priest coming in and out? They would be
- 29:19familiar with that, with the high priest doing
- 29:23that, because the incense would go up, he would
- 29:25come out the doors, go back in, come out again.
- 29:30That's good. I think we have to keep in mind,
- 29:32Rick, that however, whatever that is, that is
- 29:37how they were going to see him. So I think going
- 29:40up and then him coming back. We have to keep
- 29:47in mind the whole structure of that. It's an
- 29:50ascension up, and then you're going to see him
- 29:55the same way. So we have to connect those dots
- 29:59and figure out what that is. I was just going
- 30:06to say, I think the clouds represent the presence
- 30:08of God. Exodus 13 -21 talks about that the Lord
- 30:14went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud and then
- 30:17led them before and then skipping over to Exodus
- 30:2040 34 and 35 34 and 35 the cloud covered the
- 30:25tent of meetings and the glory of the lord filled
- 30:28the tabernacle moses was unable to enter the
- 30:32tent because the cloud rested upon it and the
- 30:35glory of the lord filled the tabernacle so i
- 30:38think what we're seeing here in in typology if
- 30:42you want to talk it is that Jesus is actually
- 30:45being received back by the Father from His mission.
- 30:49So that's what this whole cloud is about. Then
- 30:52we know that He comes back in a cloud of judgment,
- 30:54which is another representation of clouds. I
- 30:58think here is we see the Father receiving the
- 31:00Son back into His presence through His cloud
- 31:05presence of who God is Himself. Have any of you
- 31:10ever heard the argument? I know Sam Frost wrote
- 31:12this in his book Daniel interrupted that this
- 31:15ascension that this going up in the cloud matches
- 31:19Daniel with the scripture where he says that
- 31:23He came to the ancient of days Have you ever
- 31:27read have you ever heard of this before? Hmm
- 31:33Have you ever heard this before this argument?
- 31:35No, so what is the argument? The argument is
- 31:38that this cloud coming Not club coming but cloud
- 31:43ascension where he ascends to the cloud Tell
- 31:47me guys where it is Maybe chat GBT it and tell
- 31:50me what verse it is in Daniel where it says he
- 31:52came to the ancient of days Daniel chapter 8
- 31:56or 10 We got a search for it Yeah, somebody help
- 32:03me tell me where that's just use that verse in
- 32:05one of my videos I think it's is it Daniel 8
- 32:09or is it Daniel 12? He says He came to the ancient
- 32:20of days that there's a question We've I've heard
- 32:22Mike Sullivan say that that word in the septuagint
- 32:25means something different, but I want to look
- 32:27it up 713 Thank you Daniel 7 Daniel 7 13 that
- 32:34should have rang a bell for me. I've heard that
- 32:36a million times I'm gonna share my screen Real
- 32:39quick so that you guys can see you and I'm seeing
- 32:41here Are you looking for the word cloud? Is that
- 32:45what you're looking for? No, well, yeah kind
- 32:47of it's it's not really about a cloud But it's
- 32:49what he says here. So it says I kept verse 9.
- 32:54I'm gonna read 9 through 11 I kept looking until
- 32:57Thrones were set up and the ancient of days took
- 32:59his seat His garment was white as snow and the
- 33:04hair of his head like pure wool His throne was
- 33:07ablaze with flames its wheels were a burning
- 33:09fire River of fire was flowing and coming out
- 33:12from before him thousands upon thousands were
- 33:15serving him and Myriads upon myriads were standing
- 33:17before him the court convened and the books were
- 33:20opened Then now see it's before that isn't it?
- 33:27Here it is well verse 13. I kept looking in the
- 33:30night visions and behold with the clouds of heaven
- 33:34one like a son of man was coming and he came
- 33:36up to the ancient of days yeah do you see that
- 33:41yeah okay so someone would argue and i don't
- 33:45can i even how do i get to the ll lxx because
- 33:49there was a question bible hub yeah bible hub
- 33:53okay yeah and then i can do it what are you looking
- 33:56for i do it all the time i just want to know
- 34:00what the LXX says for the Daniel 713, which is
- 34:08the Septuagint. I call it the LXX. Daniel 713?
- 34:11Daniel 713. Okay, hold on. It takes a little
- 34:16bit to get there. Daniel 7, LXX, then APB. Next
- 34:22time I know to just have my Septuagint here with
- 34:25me, because I have one. Oh, you do? Okay, 13.
- 34:27I do, yeah. Okay, what did you want to read 13?
- 34:33Okay. Well, this is the Greek isn't always exact
- 34:36because sometimes I put the Greek into Google
- 34:39Translate and the and the Greek is actually different
- 34:41than how they actually translate it in dot Bible
- 34:43hub But this says I viewed in a vision of the
- 34:46night and behold with the clouds of the heaven
- 34:49and one as son of man was coming is that word
- 34:54ends and Unto the old one of days he came and
- 34:58before him. He was brought I'm wondering if the
- 35:02word clouds is the same So so right now what's
- 35:07your what's again kind of get us back on track
- 35:09here. What's what's your point? You're making
- 35:11my point here is that There are some who argue
- 35:16that the ascension is a fulfillment of Daniel
- 35:19713 That when it says that he came to the ancient
- 35:25of days. Mm -hmm that That's that's when Christ
- 35:30receives full authority all power and authority
- 35:34have been given unto me and he sits at the right
- 35:36hand of the father and he is the king before
- 35:40first Corinthians 15 when he hands the kingdom
- 35:42back to the father and is the all in all this
- 35:44is the moment when he goes up to the ancient
- 35:47of days and so I'm like I am my screen here I've
- 35:50got this up to agent to I've held in the night
- 35:52vision. One coming with the clouds of heaven
- 35:55as the son of man. And he came on to the ancient
- 35:58of days and was brought near him. And he was
- 36:00given the dominion and the honor and the kingdom
- 36:02and all nations, tribes and languages. See. So
- 36:04like that seems to be fitting the same kind of
- 36:07timeframe, but I've heard Michael and Dawn say,
- 36:10Nope. I've heard Zach Davis and Travis drum teach.
- 36:13Like it can't be the Ascension, um, because of
- 36:16what's, what's attached to it. I'm talking 28
- 36:22would. Matthew 28 would say a little bit different
- 36:26in the fulfillment part of it, because in Matthew
- 36:2928, Jesus tells the disciples that I have authority,
- 36:33all power and authority has been invested unto
- 36:34me. That's if you believe that Matthew 28 in
- 36:38its fullness, as we currently have it is actually
- 36:41the part of the original text. And some people
- 36:44say that the ending of Matthew 28, the original
- 36:48text doesn't have those words. So the timing
- 36:51of the chronology, Mark 16, that's not Matthew,
- 36:55that's Mark 16. What are the arguments that it's
- 36:59not the same thing? What are the arguments? Yeah,
- 37:04you said that there were some that said that
- 37:08that that Daniel that passage there at Daniel
- 37:11seven does not represent the possible ascension.
- 37:16Yes, their argument against it. So hold on. Give
- 37:20me one second, because I want to I did have this
- 37:23down here. So let's see. And mine's just from
- 37:31curiosity for sure. Well, it's for me too. I
- 37:34mean, that's why I'm asking the question. I haven't
- 37:40read the whole thing in context. I have heard
- 37:43it mentioned that it was possibly talking about
- 37:46the Ascension. And then I have also heard just
- 37:49the basic argument that no, it couldn't have
- 37:51possibly been that. But I never heard any reason
- 37:54behind it. It was just kind of in passing in
- 37:58a conversation. So, and I couldn't understand
- 38:01that either. It's not Mark, Rick, it's Matthew.
- 38:06Matthew 28. 16 at the end, right? No, Matthew
- 38:0928, 18. All right. They say it's not in the original.
- 38:14The ending of... It makes sense it would be the
- 38:16same. All right, so here's what it says. This
- 38:22is from Michael Sullivan, okay? And this also
- 38:28Don Preston as well. So it says here Psalm 110
- 38:33one describes what happens at the Ascension.
- 38:37Psalm 110 verse one. So we're dealing with the
- 38:42Ascension here in Acts. So this is a good, we
- 38:44can study this. Psalm 110 one says what? Can
- 38:48anybody get to it quickly? I can get to it. I
- 38:54have it if you need me to. Okay. go ahead do
- 38:58they think it's the judgment and not the ascension
- 39:01yes there's a there's an alternative here it
- 39:04says many commentators think it's refers instead
- 39:07to christ invisible or judgment oriented 70 ad
- 39:12okay coming with he's coming down he's not going
- 39:15up Right. So the Septuagint says is like basically
- 39:19coming from the ancient of days. Whereas in our
- 39:21English versions, it says going to the ancient
- 39:23of days. Right. It's very interesting. So he
- 39:27says the prepositions are interchangeable in
- 39:30it's hard to know. But yeah. Christ goes to the
- 39:34Father's right hand sits into begins raining
- 39:36that's Daniel 7 13 describes something Subsequent
- 39:39the enthroned son of man comes with the clouds
- 39:41in judgment. He therefore reads Matthew 26 64
- 39:45has combining two texts and two stages sitting
- 39:47at the right hand of power Which is ascension
- 39:51coming on the clouds. He thinks the direction
- 39:53of Daniel 7 is judicial rather than ascensional
- 39:56Yeah, that's right. So the idea here is the ascension
- 40:01isn't the judgment This isn't the cloud coming
- 40:04that we know of that. Jesus will talk about with
- 40:06Caiaphas He's going to the ancient of days. It
- 40:09was Sam Frost and Daniel interrupted. I read
- 40:11that Zach Davis also did one I can't find it.
- 40:14He did a brilliant job of explaining why that
- 40:17can't be true At the ascension that it cannot
- 40:21be the fulfillment of daniel 7 13 So anyway,
- 40:24that was just something that popped up in my
- 40:26head And um, maybe i'll put a little bit more
- 40:28work into it and be ready for our next episode,
- 40:31uh, but let's move on with those same verses
- 40:34that we were just in and Let's see here so Oh,
- 40:42can I ask a question? I'm sure ask a question.
- 40:44You might get to it is You and I discussed and
- 40:47I asked a question What if the possibility of
- 40:53that whole event actually meant that Christ never
- 40:57really went into the sky? Yeah, like so meaning?
- 41:05That meaning that in like manner that happened
- 41:08in the Old Testament that Jesus being at the
- 41:12Mount of Olives went further up the mountain
- 41:16and went into the clouds of the mountain. Like
- 41:20it happened with Moses and it also happened with
- 41:23the disciples at the Mount of Transfiguration
- 41:28Yeah, I think we were talking about the only
- 41:31reason that I would say it's not that is because
- 41:33of what it says in verse 11 When those two when
- 41:37those two men in white clothing and we haven't
- 41:40even talked about them If they're angels or who
- 41:43they are what they represent You're looking up
- 41:46you're looking up the mountain Well, he says
- 41:48this Jesus who has been taken up from you into
- 41:53heaven It's like he's being you see what I mean.
- 41:57It's not like he's walking Into the cloud. I
- 42:00mean I get what you're saying Rick I'm just saying
- 42:02but it seems to be and I I don't know what the
- 42:05original language says here But who has been
- 42:08taken up from you into heaven certainly seems
- 42:11like I don't know about you But I think about
- 42:14it much like I do when I was a kid, which is
- 42:17You know, he's like, he's floating up into the
- 42:19sky, man. That's what we have been told from
- 42:23all of our childhoods. Oh, I know. But that's
- 42:25kind of like the way I see it. We've been given
- 42:27almost a Disney production of the events that
- 42:31happen. But everything usually happens in the
- 42:34same order that we read. Everybody talks about
- 42:37scripture, interpret scripture. Well, wouldn't
- 42:39the same patterns happen in the same way? I'm
- 42:42only asking a question if it wasn't that he physically
- 42:45went up into the sky. There's In like manner
- 42:52his return would not be coming from out of this
- 42:55guy would be coming like manner But it like manner
- 43:01means he would be walking down a mountain Getting
- 43:08back to the Daniel thing it says with the clouds
- 43:12of the heaven and one is son of man was coming
- 43:15So he was actually in the coming not in the going
- 43:17I think anyway For the seven in Daniel 713. Yeah,
- 43:22that's how I see it as a yeah, that's what it
- 43:27says pretty much. Yeah. All right. So before
- 43:30we the study is going to be over here in just
- 43:32a few minutes. And I know we haven't we haven't
- 43:34done it justice. And maybe we'll come back next
- 43:37week and or not next week, but in here in a couple
- 43:40of weeks, we'll talk about this some more. But
- 43:43those two the two men in white, anybody got any
- 43:48ideas? What's the point of the two men in white
- 43:52at his ascension? Anybody ever asked that question?
- 43:59Like why? We've asked it but I Think to the end
- 44:05of verse 11 Those two men are saying in like
- 44:12manner or the same way He was taken is the way
- 44:16he will come but what is not said here is that
- 44:21those Apostles will actually see it It doesn't
- 44:24say you will see him come. It says the way you
- 44:30saw him go. So there's no guarantee that these
- 44:35two apostles are going to actually see when he
- 44:41comes in like manner, but that does not address
- 44:46the tomb and in white. Going off of what you
- 44:51just said, Karen, I was actually thinking about
- 44:55that because when we think of this passage with
- 44:59him ascending there they're watching him and
- 45:01then it says in like manner he will he will come
- 45:04back. And if you remember, Elisha and his servant,
- 45:08when Elisha's servants eyes, you know, were were
- 45:11open so that he was able to see this army surrounding
- 45:15them, that's kind of what it made me think of.
- 45:17I was thinking, what if it is something like
- 45:19that, something that you just can't see with
- 45:21earthly eyes, but it doesn't mean that he is
- 45:24not coming back the same way. Just something
- 45:27that I had thought about. Yeah. Again, not addressing
- 45:31the two men in white. But you can see, I mean,
- 45:33it's not hard, guys, like OK, so I came up in
- 45:36the Baptist Southern Baptist faith and actually
- 45:41I was raised in an atheist home, but I was I
- 45:43was going to a Baptist church on a bus ministry
- 45:46and then I was taken to church. But the things
- 45:49that these ministers would say, which really
- 45:53made sense to me as a kid, I'm not looking for
- 45:55a hole in the ground. I'm looking for a hole
- 45:57in the sky. You ever heard that before? I'll
- 46:01put another twist to this. My dad used to say
- 46:02he would say he says I'm not looking for the
- 46:05undertaker. I'm looking for the upper taker.
- 46:07Yeah. But see, that's just it. Right. If we read
- 46:11it in plain English, it's not to me. It makes
- 46:15like like we I don't I don't have to do a whole
- 46:19lot of verbal gymnastics here. I think the two
- 46:21witnesses are the critical part in my opinion.
- 46:25I do those two witnesses. First of all. You've
- 46:29got to have two witnesses. I like how you're
- 46:34putting this now. Yeah. Why? Because I would
- 46:38be willing to be speculating that that's the
- 46:41first written part of the two witnesses that
- 46:43are spoken of in revelation. I was going to go
- 46:46there too because they come back later. Yeah.
- 46:49You have to have Luke's writing it from a very
- 46:53legalistic. No, not legalistic. Not legalistic.
- 46:57that from the legal covenantal covenantal law.
- 47:02You have to have two or two or three witnesses.
- 47:05Yes. And you can't rely on the human witness
- 47:09for what's taking place. Yeah. You can't because
- 47:13they don't have the same kind of understanding
- 47:16of the heaven as right. This would be possibly
- 47:20the two witnesses that's that know where he's
- 47:23going or know where he's come from. If we're
- 47:28talking about the witnesses, then, could it be
- 47:30the Moses and Elijah? Transfiguration? Could
- 47:35it be the prophets? Don't shake your head too
- 47:39fast, Big Daddy, because they just said transfiguration.
- 47:42I guess they did. What was that, a glory cloud?
- 47:47What if it was Moses and Elijah that said, men
- 47:50and brother, what are you doing? I think Peter
- 47:51would have been like, Moses and Elijah, I done
- 47:53saw you all up in the mountains. I know. I know
- 47:56it's y 'all. Quit trying to hide. I know it's
- 47:59y 'all. I've seen y 'all before. I would love
- 48:01to say that if Luke, being that he was being
- 48:06meticulous about his writing, I believe that
- 48:09he would have written that this was Moses and
- 48:11Elijah standing there. If he knew that they were.
- 48:14He doesn't name them. And again, you have to
- 48:18speculate because of the lack of information.
- 48:23And it depends upon the broadness of what you
- 48:25want to read and get into. But the two witnesses
- 48:30are written about in another book. Now, again,
- 48:34it's not canon, but the names are written in
- 48:36another book, and it says who they are. And they
- 48:40come from basically when Jesus is when he dies
- 48:45on the cross. Matthew writes about a resurrection
- 48:50that happens. The tombs are open and the people
- 48:52are seen throughout the city and walking around.
- 48:56And two of those people come out. I believe these
- 49:00are the same two witnesses that come out. Eventually,
- 49:06they have to be, according to Revelation, they're
- 49:09killed in the city and then they're resurrected
- 49:11again. So they're still close to the city. But,
- 49:15you know, it's again, it's all speculation, but
- 49:17I think this possibly could be the first writing
- 49:19or the description of those two witnesses that
- 49:22are there coming out of the city because it's,
- 49:26this is very close to, you know, the resurrection
- 49:29in that time period. The two witnesses that were
- 49:37in the tomb when he resurrected, how about them?
- 49:41Exactly. Those two witnesses. They all could
- 49:45be the same people. Does the white apparel have
- 49:49anything to do with it? Yeah, they all are dressed
- 49:52in white. The two are always dressed in white.
- 49:55I think the good point is that we know that without
- 49:58speculation, we can settle down in on the fact
- 50:02that it is a legal witness that's happening.
- 50:09It's a covenant thing. Yes. Yeah, it is. There's
- 50:12two. And so that you can run that all the way
- 50:16back through scripture, you know, to the law,
- 50:18you know, you know, so that's, that's an important,
- 50:21that's a solid point that we should be able to
- 50:25take away with. I mean, wouldn't it be cool if
- 50:28it's the two cherubim that was put in the Garden
- 50:30of Eden to guard it. And now they're witnessing
- 50:32in the new covenant, he's releasing that. Yeah.
- 50:35They didn't have their flaming swords that day.
- 50:38That's right. Because he's gonna be the one entering
- 50:40in there's nothing to block anymore. That's right
- 50:43The firmament is gone. The firmament is gone.
- 50:47He's coming in he's coming in But so in Luke
- 50:52they they also had dazzling or radiant clothes
- 50:55Which is probably the white apparel, right? Yeah,
- 51:01the empty tomb either that if they were in a
- 51:04disco party, yeah, yeah Well, it says it was
- 51:09two men the two witnesses were described as men
- 51:13They're all in it's all in the same thing. Here's
- 51:16what's if we look at again the text these two
- 51:19men know some special information because we
- 51:23take what they are saying as Something else more
- 51:28than what anybody else knows. Even the disciples
- 51:30don't know what these guys know. They know something
- 51:33special They know that he's going to come back
- 51:36How do they know that he's going to come back?
- 51:39Because there's somebody has told him what's
- 51:42going to happen. So they know So he was risen
- 51:46to and Luke. It's it's the same thing. It's the
- 51:49inside knowledge They might have been there the
- 51:52whole time and nobody paid attention Yeah, we
- 51:55don't know where they come from and how long
- 51:58they've been there We just know that they're
- 52:00there when they're when Luke writes about them
- 52:02when they speak They could have been quiet the
- 52:05whole time And just stood there. Yeah. Well,
- 52:09he says he's not here, but he is risen. Remember
- 52:12how he spoke to you. That's what they also said.
- 52:14Why do you seek him? That was at the grave. It
- 52:17was also two witnesses in the shining garments.
- 52:19It's one of my favorite verses of scripture.
- 52:21My son, Jonas got saved when he heard that verse.
- 52:24The, a man in a play said, uh, why do you stand
- 52:29here? Why did the living stand among the dead?
- 52:34And He came up to me crying and he's like, dad,
- 52:37I get it. I get it. I get it. I'll never forget
- 52:41that. Yeah. But Karen, that's a good point you
- 52:44made because in acts 111 and when you read about
- 52:50the tomb in both instances, they're saying, why
- 52:55are y 'all standing around here looking? He's
- 52:58risen. What? What? Out of the tomb? Yeah, but
- 53:03in both instances. those witnesses are asking
- 53:07why are y 'all standing around gazing whether
- 53:10it's up or in the tomb why are you why are you
- 53:14here looking as if you should be somewhere else
- 53:18so yeah where they're already yep they already
- 53:23have advanced knowledge they already have the
- 53:27understanding that they already the people they're
- 53:30speaking to the audience that they're speaking
- 53:31to already should have the knowledge and understanding
- 53:35of what they're doing they shouldn't be doing
- 53:37because they know again it's it's all about the
- 53:41understanding and christ had the same struggles
- 53:44with the disciples Why do I have to still deal
- 53:47with these people? Because you should know by
- 53:49now everything that I've done before you, with
- 53:52you. You've seen the physicalness of it. You've
- 53:55seen everything. I've told you everything, but
- 53:57it's just not grasping. Yes. It's after he did
- 54:01something that the scriptures say. And they knew
- 54:04he'd come back. Doesn't that ring true that hindsight
- 54:10is 2020? Yes, for sure. Even in their understanding
- 54:15they need it fully developed and placed out so
- 54:18they look back in history and know without a
- 54:21doubt that everything he said was true and the
- 54:25fullness of coming true even to Thomas standing
- 54:28there with Peter that's describing to him what
- 54:30has happened Thomas don't believe it and says
- 54:33Peter you have to be crazy Peter there's no way
- 54:38these things could have happened this fast things
- 54:40that have gone on, it's just not possible, unless
- 54:43that I see that he is physically being crucified.
- 54:46Peter has to be describing to the guys that have
- 54:49been locked in a room that Christ has been crucified,
- 54:53buried in the ground, and risen within a very
- 54:55short period of time, when the city didn't even
- 54:59do anything to basically stop it. They brought
- 55:04him in as a king. They were totally quiet during
- 55:06the whole event. How could the city not know
- 55:09what's going on? And he's already dead and risen.
- 55:12Peter, you're out of your mind. You know, you're
- 55:15crazy. And then look who walks in the room. He
- 55:19didn't walk. He floated, baby. And you know what
- 55:23else? Guys, I really liked what Danny said because
- 55:28I think there's something to the two cherubim
- 55:31that blocked the garden. Because the two at the
- 55:36tomb that's coming from she all And then from
- 55:40the earth to the heaven, that's the next right?
- 55:44Could it be the chick could it be the cherubim
- 55:46on the veil? That were the cherubim that were
- 55:49blocking the Holy of Holies the chair. Well and
- 55:53Hebrews says that Christ was the veil. Yes. Yeah
- 56:02The white represents holiness. That's one thing
- 56:05we do know. For sure. And even in a priestly
- 56:10vesture that it could be that. And then the last
- 56:14thing, it would be there's a big victorious part
- 56:18that this is a victorious event that's happening.
- 56:21So, you know, those are some of the things that,
- 56:24again, getting back to The number two is important.
- 56:29I think the white is important because it's representing
- 56:32the holiness of God, messengers of God, whoever
- 56:36they may be. They are coming directly from the
- 56:40Father talking to these men. And then, you know,
- 56:44I don't know how much more time we have, you
- 56:46know, to go, but I want to dig into What they
- 56:50actually said and who the audience is. Yeah.
- 56:53Let's do that next week. I think that's a good
- 56:55place to stop for tonight. And I appreciate all
- 56:59of you being here. Eric, since you were the last
- 57:01to speak, would you mind closing this out? Yes.
- 57:05All right. Lord, you are such a loving, kind
- 57:08God, merciful God. Lord, before we even called
- 57:12out your name, you knew us, Father, because we
- 57:15can recognize that from your word out of Psalm
- 57:17139. Before my innermost parts were even formed,
- 57:22you've known me. And Father, you called me out
- 57:25from my mother's womb. And so Father, would you
- 57:28teach us to know that our days have been ordered
- 57:32and written before there was ever one of them?
- 57:34Lord, you encompass us in front and behind. Lord,
- 57:38you know our thoughts and our words before we
- 57:41even speak. So how much more careful should we
- 57:44be with our thoughts and with our minds and with
- 57:47what we say? Even in a prayer, Father, we want
- 57:50to be careful to give God glory. to give thanks
- 57:54for our risen Savior Jesus Christ and Father
- 57:57for the Holy Spirit that dwells within us. Make
- 58:00us men and women a power to go forth with the
- 58:04gospel of the message of Christ that Christ is
- 58:06reigning, he's ruling, he's seated at the right
- 58:10hand of God the Father. He's accomplished all
- 58:12things, he's not standing as a priest did, he
- 58:14is seated and all things have been fulfilled.
- 58:17So Father we want to tell you thank you Father
- 58:19for that. understanding. Father, those that are
- 58:22listening to us and will listen to this and re
- 58:25-listen to it, Father, protect them and protect
- 58:29us, Father, from leading them down any wrong
- 58:32path. We're just having a discussion and we're
- 58:35so grateful to be able to do that. Thank you
- 58:37for this platform and I pray that, Father, you
- 58:39bless it going forth and bring many into the
- 58:42Kingdom of God. In Jesus' name, Amen. Amen. All
- 58:45right, guys. Well, join us next time. We're going
- 58:48to get into more of Acts chapter one, and we're
- 58:51going to do our best to try to. This might actually
- 58:54turn into a Don Preston thing. It might. It could
- 58:57be. It could be. It could be a three, four hour
- 59:01show. Anyway, thanks, guys, for listening. And
- 59:04we will talk to you guys again next time on the
- 59:07Burrows of Berea. Peace out, y 'all.
