- 0:18Speaker 1: We appreciate PrizePix for all their support.
- 0:21Speaker 2: All right, so we have been asking the same question
- 0:23Speaker 2: for the last two weeks, and so has the rest
- 0:26Speaker 2: of the country, truly, and it's, is Florida actually good
- 0:29Speaker 2: Or do they just look good because they hadn't played
- 0:32Speaker 2: anybody yet? Well, went into Jordan-Hare Stadium at night, played
- 0:37Speaker 2: their first SEC game under a new head coach, commit
- 0:41Speaker 2: 16 penalties, give Auburn 138 free yards, and you still
- 0:46Speaker 2: walk out of there with a 44-39 win? Yeah, I
- 0:49Speaker 2: think we learned something about this football team. Now, was
- 0:52Speaker 2: it perfect? Absolutely not. In fact, Coach Summerall said afterwards
- 0:56Speaker 2: that if Florida plays like this against the best teams
- 0:58Speaker 2: on its schedule, They will get killed. But there is
- 1:02Speaker 2: something different about this team. They respond. They don't panic.
- 1:07Speaker 2: They don't seem overwhelmed by big moments. And maybe most importantly,
- 1:14Speaker 2: they have an identity. Florida went into Auburn and put
- 1:17Speaker 2: up 495 yards of offense.
- 1:18Speaker 1: They ran for 243.
- 1:18Speaker 2: They threw for 252. They possessed the football for more
- 1:21Speaker 2: than 39 minutes. They scored on seven of their eight possessions.
- 1:32Speaker 2: They never trailed. Florida is 3-0 for the first time
- 1:36Speaker 2: since 2019. John Summerall is the first first-year Florida coach
- 1:41Speaker 2: to start 3-0 since Urban Meyer, and the Gators just
- 1:44Speaker 2: won at Auburn for the first time since 1999. So yeah,
- 1:50Speaker 2: there's plenty to clean up, but there's also a whole
- 1:53Speaker 2: lot to like. Let's get into the good, the bad,
- 1:57Speaker 2: and the There were some very, very ugly as well.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Let's start with the good, Jaden Baugh.
- 2:04Speaker 2: We may need to make this a permanent segment every
- 2:06Speaker 2: single week because what else are you supposed to say?
- 2:09Speaker 2: 26 carries, 162 yards, three touchdowns, 6.2 yards per carry.
- 2:17Speaker 2: And when Florida needed him the most, he absolutely ripped
- 2:20Speaker 2: Auburn's heart out. You know, early in the third quarter,
- 2:24Speaker 2: Florida comes out of the half ready to play.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Baugh takes one.
- 2:28Speaker 2: 33 yards to the house. Then in the fourth quarter,
- 2:31Speaker 2: Florida's facing fourth and one from its own 47. Every
- 2:35Speaker 2: person in Jordan-Hare Stadium knows who's getting the football.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Auburn knows it. Florida knows it. You knew it. I
- 2:43Speaker 1: knew it. Doesn't matter.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Baugh hit the hole and goes for 53 yards for
- 2:47Speaker 2: a touchdown. Not a first down, not three yards and
- 2:50Speaker 2: a cloud of dust. We're probably taking that though, right?
- 2:53Speaker 1: 53 yards. Ball game.
- 2:56Speaker 2: And what I love about Baugh right now is that
- 2:58Speaker 2: these aren't empty numbers against bad competition anymore. Auburn came
- 3:02Speaker 2: into this game with a defensive front that was supposed
- 3:05Speaker 2: to be the strength of its football team. Florida ran
- 3:08Speaker 2: for 243 yards, the most Auburn has allowed since DJ
- 3:11Speaker 2: Durkin became defensive coordinator there. Baugh now has four straight
- 3:16Speaker 2: 100-yard games dating back to last season. He has eight
- 3:19Speaker 2: rushing touchdowns already this year. And even after the mistake
- 3:23Speaker 2: earlier in the game, when he bobbled that pass and
- 3:26Speaker 2: it became Aaron Pilo's interception, he didn't disappear.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Summerall went right over to him and basically said, good.
- 3:34Speaker 1: You made a mistake. Good. Now go respond. And he did.
- 3:38Speaker 2: That mentality is probably my favorite thing about this team
- 3:41Speaker 2: so far.
- 3:42Speaker 1: They are going to screw up. They are young.
- 3:44Speaker 2: They are going to make mistakes. But the response has
- 3:47Speaker 2: been different. And nobody embodied that better Saturday night than
- 3:52Speaker 2: Jaden Baugh. Another good is the offense and Buster Faulkner.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I think this is maybe my biggest takeaway from the
- 4:00Speaker 2: entire game. Honestly, maybe even this season so far. We
- 4:03Speaker 2: knew Florida could score against FAU. We knew Florida could
- 4:06Speaker 2: score against Campbell. But could this offense travel? Could it
- 4:10Speaker 2: work against SEC athletes? Could Buster Faulkner still create the
- 4:14Speaker 2: same mismatches?
- 4:15Speaker 1: And Apparently the answer is yes.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Florida finished with 495 yards and averaged about six and
- 4:21Speaker 2: a half yards per play. They had 243 rushing and
- 4:25Speaker 2: 252 passing. That is about as balanced as you can
- 4:29Speaker 2: possibly get. I know some of you guys are like
- 4:31Speaker 2: me and the word complimentary football just brings up some
- 4:34Speaker 2: bad memories for us, but this was balanced. Florida went
- 4:39Speaker 2: five for five in the red zone, three for three
- 4:41Speaker 2: on fourth down.
- 4:42Speaker 1: They had one punt the entire night.
- 4:44Speaker 2: And they scored on seven of their first eight possessions.
- 4:48Speaker 2: That is ridiculous efficiency in your first SEC road game.
- 4:52Speaker 2: And I think the part that impressed me the very
- 4:55Speaker 2: most was that Florida kept overcoming its own mistakes. Third
- 5:00Speaker 2: and 12, okay, Florida's going to hit BB3 for 27.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Third and 20, Duke Clark somehow scores a touchdown. Third
- 5:08Speaker 2: and eight, Buster Faulkner says, all right, how about we
- 5:11Speaker 2: get Khalil Jackson, you know, former high school quarterback, to
- 5:15Speaker 2: throw a 48-yard bomb to Amir Jackson. That play came
- 5:19Speaker 2: right after the officials overturned that BB3 catch.
- 5:22Speaker 1: It was a catch, by the way. That could have
- 5:24Speaker 1: been a moment where Florida gets frustrated. Instead, fine. You
- 5:29Speaker 1: took that one away. We'll take 48 on the next one.
- 5:32Speaker 2: And that is one of the biggest differences I see
- 5:34Speaker 2: offensively right now.
- 5:36Speaker 1: There is an answer.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Florida gained 151 yards on third down plays alone.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Think about that. That means Auburn repeatedly got Florida.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Into situations where the defense should have won the down.
- 5:49Speaker 2: But Florida kept finding a way out. That wears a
- 5:52Speaker 2: defense out. And by the second half, I think you
- 5:54Speaker 2: could see it. We got to give some good to
- 5:57Speaker 2: Aaron Filo as well. He deserves his flowers.
- 6:00Speaker 1: First SEC start, first road start.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Jordan Hare at night, 15 of 22, 204 yards, one touchdown.
- 6:08Speaker 2: The interception technically goes on his stat line, but the
- 6:12Speaker 2: football hit ball just absolutely right in the chest and
- 6:15Speaker 2: the hands and popped into the air.
- 6:17Speaker 1: You know, that's just such a fluke thing.
- 6:19Speaker 2: And outside of that, Philo looked completely comfortable. Not spectacular
- 6:24Speaker 2: on every snap, not Superman, but controlled. And that is
- 6:28Speaker 2: exactly what this offense needs. He made some really impressive
- 6:31Speaker 2: throws under pressure. He kept drives alive. He handled the atmosphere.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And the moment never felt like it got too big
- 6:39Speaker 2: for him. Summerall in the postgame described him as having kind.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Of a cowboy mentality.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Tough, blue collar, chip on his shoulder, doesn't say a lot,
- 6:48Speaker 2: but also doesn't back down. And I think that's a
- 6:50Speaker 2: pretty good description of what we're seeing. Through three games,
- 6:53Speaker 2: Philo doesn't look like the guy who's trying to prove
- 6:56Speaker 2: he can be Florida's quarterback. He just looks like he
- 6:59Speaker 2: is Florida's quarterback, and I do think that there's some
- 7:01Speaker 2: nuance there. Another good, VB3, Dallas Wilson, and all of
- 7:06Speaker 2: these weapons. This offense is becoming really hard to defend
- 7:10Speaker 2: because there isn't just one guy. Vernell Brown had five
- 7:13Speaker 2: catches for 86 yards. Dallas Wilson had four catches for
- 7:17Speaker 2: 74 yards and a touchdown. Khalil Jackson threw a 48-yard pass.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Amir Jackson goes and makes a big catch. Duke Clark
- 7:26Speaker 2: gives you 50 yards at a touchdown behind Baugh. And
- 7:29Speaker 2: even when Auburn knew Florida wanted to run the football,
- 7:32Speaker 2: they couldn't stop it. That's what I mean when coming
- 7:36Speaker 2: into this game, I was saying that Auburn would tell
- 7:38Speaker 2: us a lot about this offense, a lot more than
- 7:41Speaker 2: the first two weeks would.
- 7:42Speaker 1: And I think the answer here is pretty clear. The
- 7:45Speaker 1: offense is real.
- 7:47Speaker 2: I'm giving my own section of good to the middle eight.
- 7:51Speaker 2: And Gator fans, you know exactly why this matters. Florida
- 7:54Speaker 2: won the middle eight 10-0. For anyone unfamiliar, that's the
- 7:58Speaker 2: final four minutes of the first half and the first
- 8:00Speaker 2: four minutes of the second half. And the last several years, well,
- 8:04Speaker 2: that stretch of football has been a nightmare for the Gators.
- 8:09Speaker 2: How many times do we watch previous staffs have a
- 8:12Speaker 2: chance to steal points before halftime and instead get conservative?
- 8:16Speaker 2: And how many times did Florida give up points right
- 8:18Speaker 2: before the break? Or how many times did they come
- 8:20Speaker 2: out of the locker room just absolutely flat? It became
- 8:24Speaker 2: one of those things you almost expected. And Saturday night,
- 8:27Speaker 2: it was completely different. Auburn had just tied the game
- 8:30Speaker 2: at 17. Jordan Hare is going bonkers. Momentum has completely flipped.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Florida gets the football with just over five minutes left.
- 8:39Speaker 2: And instead of panicking, they go on an 11-play drive,
- 8:42Speaker 2: bleed the clock, and Patrick Durkin hits a field goal
- 8:44Speaker 2: with five seconds remaining. So then Florida goes into halftime up.
- 8:48Speaker 2: 20 to 17. But then they get the ball to
- 8:51Speaker 2: start the second half. First play, Philo to VB3, 37 yards.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Another completion to Brown. Then Jaden Baugh, 33 yards.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Touchdown. Three plays, 75 yards.
- 9:03Speaker 2: A 20 to 17 game suddenly becomes a 27 to
- 9:07Speaker 2: 17 game. Florida won that stretch 10-0. That is how
- 9:12Speaker 2: you play situational football. And Summerall said afterward that he
- 9:15Speaker 2: felt like that sequence coming out of halftime was was
- 9:18Speaker 2: essentially the game-deciding swing.
- 9:20Speaker 1: And I think he's right.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Auburn had spent the second quarter just clawing their way back.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Florida could have let them carry that momentum into halftime
- 9:29Speaker 2: and into the third quarter. Instead, Florida punched them right
- 9:33Speaker 2: back in the mouth. And for anybody who's lived through
- 9:36Speaker 2: Florida's middle eight issues the last few years, that was refreshing. Now,
- 9:42Speaker 2: I'm going to have plenty to say about the defense
- 9:44Speaker 2: in a minute, but The defensive front still belongs on
- 9:49Speaker 2: this good list. There was some really good stuff there.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Florida had seven sacks, seven. Cormani McLean picks Byron Brown
- 9:57Speaker 2: off on Auburn's opening possession, and Florida immediately turns it
- 10:00Speaker 2: into a touchdown.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Jaden Woods was disruptive.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Emmanuel Obadejo, who Samaral said was basically a game-time decision,
- 10:07Speaker 2: that he hadn't practiced all week. He ran around really
- 10:09Speaker 2: for the first time on Friday. Well, he shows up
- 10:13Speaker 2: and plays his butt off. Those two combined for five sacks.
- 10:18Speaker 2: and Auburn's traditional running game really never got going. Jeremiah
- 10:22Speaker 2: Cobb finished with only 32 yards on nine carries, looking
- 10:25Speaker 2: for that Brad guy who says he's better than we
- 10:29Speaker 2: got in Jaden Baugh.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Don't think so.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Florida held Auburn to 102 rushing yards total, and a
- 10:34Speaker 2: huge chunk of that came from Byron Brown scrambling. There
- 10:37Speaker 2: were moments when Florida's defensive front absolutely took over this
- 10:41Speaker 2: football game, and those sacks came in just absolutely huge
- 10:45Speaker 2: in some enormous situations. So I do think the pieces
- 10:49Speaker 2: are there.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Now, before we get to the bad, I want to
- 10:52Speaker 1: tell you.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Guys about something I'm really excited about. We are now
- 10:55Speaker 2: available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. For months, you guys
- 10:59Speaker 2: have been sending me messages and emails telling me when
- 11:02Speaker 2: you saw me out in public that you really wanted
- 11:04Speaker 2: an audio option to be able to listen to the show.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Now you can listen on road trips.
- 11:08Speaker 2: You can binge watch the entire week of shows on
- 11:11Speaker 2: your way to the game. Any way you want to listen,
- 11:14Speaker 2: we are now available. If there's another platform that you
- 11:17Speaker 2: think we should be on that we aren't, reach out
- 11:19Speaker 2: to me.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Let me know.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Put it down in the comments, however you want to
- 11:22Speaker 2: reach out, because we want to try and reach you
- 11:24Speaker 2: any way that you are consuming your content. We appreciate
- 11:28Speaker 2: you guys for weighing in on that, and we hope
- 11:30Speaker 2: you enjoy us being available on audio platforms everywhere. All right,
- 11:35Speaker 2: so it's time to bring me to the bad. And
- 11:39Speaker 2: headlining this list would be the defense, especially late. How
- 11:43Speaker 2: do you evaluate a defense that gets seven sacks, forces
- 11:47Speaker 2: an early turnover, makes some really big plays, but still
- 11:51Speaker 2: gives up 39 points?
- 11:53Speaker 1: I think that's the question.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Because Florida's defense did some really good things Saturday night.
- 11:58Speaker 2: They also gave up way too many explosives. And Summerall
- 12:01Speaker 2: was clearly irritated about it afterwards. Florida's game plan was
- 12:05Speaker 2: always to stay on top of routes and force Byron
- 12:07Speaker 2: Brown to consistently make the underneath throws. Instead, too often,
- 12:13Speaker 2: defenders got impatient and they attacked the low hip. They
- 12:16Speaker 2: lost leverage, they got out of position, and Auburn made
- 12:19Speaker 2: them pay. Byron Brown finished with 271 passing yards, three
- 12:23Speaker 2: passing touchdowns, and another 65 yards and a touchdown on
- 12:26Speaker 2: the ground. I think my biggest issue with the defense
- 12:30Speaker 2: overall is how Florida finished. Florida gets up 41-24. At
- 12:35Speaker 2: that point, the game should be over.
- 12:37Speaker 1: It felt over.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Instead, Auburn goes 80 yards in 2 minutes and 35
- 12:43Speaker 2: seconds for a touchdown and a two-point conversion.
- 12:46Speaker 1: So then that makes it 44-32.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Then Auburn goes 75 yards in 2 minutes and 29
- 12:53Speaker 2: seconds and scores again. Now suddenly, with 24 seconds left,
- 12:57Speaker 2: Auburn is attempting an onside kick in a five-point game,
- 13:01Speaker 2: a game Florida controlled for essentially the entire night, and
- 13:04Speaker 2: suddenly it looks like it's going to come down to
- 13:06Speaker 2: the final seconds. That cannot happen against better teams, and
- 13:10Speaker 2: Summerall knows it. He basically said that explosive plays were gifts.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Just do your job. Stay where you're supposed to stay.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Trust the call.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Because when Florida did that, Auburn struggled. And when Florida didn't,
- 13:23Speaker 2: there were receivers running free. That has to improve. I
- 13:28Speaker 2: need Florida to finish the game too, so I added
- 13:30Speaker 2: this to my bad list.
- 13:33Speaker 1: This ties into the defense, but I also think.
- 13:35Speaker 2: It really should be mentioned separately. Florida had a chance
- 13:39Speaker 2: to make a statement with the final score. They were
- 13:41Speaker 2: up 17 twice.
- 13:42Speaker 1: 34-17, then 41-24.
- 13:46Speaker 2: And instead of putting Auburn away, they let them hang around. Now,
- 13:50Speaker 2: do I think the final score accurately represents this football game?
- 13:54Speaker 1: No, I really don't.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Florida controlled the ball for 39 minutes and 16 seconds.
- 13:59Speaker 1: They had 495 yards. Auburn had 373. Florida ran 76 plays.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Auburn ran 66.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Florida never trailed for a minute in this game. For
- 14:10Speaker 2: large stretches, Florida was clearly the much better football team.
- 14:15Speaker 2: But championship level teams don't let a game they control
- 14:19Speaker 2: turn into an onside kick situation with 24 seconds left.
- 14:23Speaker 1: You have to close. You have to finish. You have to.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Make 41-24 feel like 41-24. I think that's the next step.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Now let's move on to the ugly. I don't even
- 14:34Speaker 1: know where to begin on this. 16 penalties. That's 138 yards.
- 14:39Speaker 1: And that is insane.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I do not care how you felt about the officiating.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Were there calls that I didn't love?
- 14:45Speaker 1: Yeah. Were there inconsistencies? Absolutely. Summerall even said he.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Disagreed with some of the flags, but he also refused
- 14:53Speaker 2: to let his players use that as an excuse.
- 14:56Speaker 1: And either should we.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Florida had procedural penalties, personal fouls, holding, false start, an
- 15:02Speaker 2: ineligible man downfield, a touchdown wiped off the board, big
- 15:05Speaker 2: plays erased, six penalties in the first quarter, 10 by halftime.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Dallas Wilson alone had three, although you will never find
- 15:13Speaker 2: me complaining about a wide receiver getting a penalty because
- 15:15Speaker 2: he's blocking a defender into the sidelines.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Listen, this isn't nerves anymore, though. It's discipline.
- 15:22Speaker 2: And Summerall's quote after the game tells you exactly how
- 15:25Speaker 2: he thinks this is and how serious he takes it.
- 15:28Speaker 2: He said, we won't win another game all year if
- 15:32Speaker 2: we do that again. Then he pointed out the trend.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Week one, four penalties. Week two, eight penalties. Week three,
- 15:39Speaker 2: 16 penalties. And he joked about not being a mathematician,
- 15:43Speaker 2: but knowing that, you know, listen, they're doubling. And then
- 15:47Speaker 2: he basically said, if Florida does that against an elite
- 15:49Speaker 2: SEC team, they will get embarrassed.
- 15:51Speaker 1: And he's right.
- 15:52Speaker 2: You can't spot Ole Miss, Georgia, Texas, whoever, 138 yards
- 15:56Speaker 2: and expect to survive. Now, the encouraging part, Florida committed
- 16:01Speaker 2: 16 penalties and they still.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Beat Auburn on the road.
- 16:05Speaker 2: The terrifying part is that eventually somebody is going to
- 16:09Speaker 2: make them pay for that. It has to get fixed immediately.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Absolutely immediately. Guys, that was the good, the bad, and
- 16:17Speaker 2: the ugly. But you know, one of the things that
- 16:19Speaker 2: I loved about the post-game press conference that Coach Summerall
- 16:22Speaker 2: told us about, and it was the theme the entire week,
- 16:25Speaker 2: is that he said the phrase, work the cut, comes
- 16:29Speaker 2: from boxing, was something that he kept repeating into the
- 16:33Speaker 2: headset all night. He said, you don't just walk into
- 16:36Speaker 2: a fight throwing uppercuts, hoping you knock somebody out.
- 16:39Speaker 1: You jab. You open a cut.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Then you keep hitting the cut over and over and over.
- 16:45Speaker 2: And eventually the big shot comes. And that's basically how
- 16:48Speaker 2: Florida won this football game. They possessed the ball for
- 16:51Speaker 2: nearly 40 minutes. They converted third downs. They converted fourth downs.
- 16:55Speaker 2: They ran Jaden Baugh again and again and again. They
- 16:58Speaker 2: made Auburn tackle. They made Auburn defend 76 plays. And
- 17:03Speaker 2: they made them defend long drives. And eventually, 33 yards
- 17:07Speaker 2: from Jaden Baugh. 20-yard touchdown from Dallas Wilson, 48-yard double pass,
- 17:13Speaker 2: 53 yards from ball, uppercut, uppercut, uppercut. Florida didn't play
- 17:17Speaker 2: a perfect football game, but they kept working the cut.
- 17:21Speaker 2: And when Auburn punched back, Florida responded. And that is
- 17:24Speaker 2: the identity that John Summerall is trying to create. This
- 17:29Speaker 2: is why I thought this game was such a huge
- 17:30Speaker 2: litmus test for Florida. Not because Auburn is Georgia, not
- 17:34Speaker 2: because Auburn is suddenly an elite SEC team, or not because,
- 17:38Speaker 2: you know, this is the toughest game on the schedule,
- 17:41Speaker 2: but because this is the first time Florida had to
- 17:43Speaker 2: prove that what we saw in weeks one and two
- 17:45Speaker 2: would travel. Road game, SEC opponent, hostile environment, night game
- 17:49Speaker 2: at Jordan-Hare, adversity, mistakes, momentum swings. And Florida handled it all. Now,
- 17:55Speaker 2: they didn't always handle it well, but they handled it.
- 17:58Speaker 2: And they're now 3-0. They're 1-0 in SEC play. It's
- 18:01Speaker 2: Florida's first 3-0 start since 2019. It's Florida's first win
- 18:05Speaker 2: at Auburn since 1999. And John Summerall is the first
- 18:08Speaker 2: first-year Florida head coach to start 3-0 since Urban Meyer
- 18:11Speaker 2: did it in 2005. Florida has scored 162 points in
- 18:16Speaker 2: three games. The offense just put nearly 500 yards on
- 18:20Speaker 2: an SEC defense that everybody thinks is very good. Jaden
- 18:24Speaker 2: Baugh is one of the best running backs in America.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Aaron Filo looked comfortable. The offensive line is playing physical football.
- 18:30Speaker 2: The receivers are making plays. Buster Faulkner appears to have answers.
- 18:34Speaker 2: And this team believes it can walk into somebody else's
- 18:36Speaker 2: stadium and win. Those are not small developments. And listen,
- 18:41Speaker 2: there are still problems. 16 penalties will get you beat.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Giving up explosive plays will get you beat. Failing to
- 18:47Speaker 2: close when you're up by 17 will eventually get you beat.
- 18:51Speaker 2: And Florida's about to face a much more difficult test
- 18:54Speaker 2: with Ole Miss coming to the swamp. Summerall said it himself,
- 18:57Speaker 2: this is not their best football. But guys, that's the
- 19:00Speaker 2: most encouraging part of all of this to me. Florida
- 19:03Speaker 2: just went into Auburn, scored 44 points, ran for 243 yards,
- 19:08Speaker 2: possessed the football for almost 40 minutes, won the middle
- 19:10Speaker 2: eight 10-0, sacked Auburn seven times, and then the head
- 19:14Speaker 2: coach stood in the press conference after the game looking irritated,
- 19:17Speaker 2: telling us that wasn't our best football. Good. The standards
- 19:22Speaker 2: should be higher. Three games, three wins, and now we
- 19:25Speaker 2: finally have one that tells us something. Florida 44, Auburn 39.
- 19:30Speaker 2: The good, Jaden Baugh, Aaron Filo, Buster Faulkner, the offensive line,
- 19:34Speaker 2: the middle eight, the ability to respond when things went wrong.
- 19:37Speaker 2: The bad, explosive plays defensively and failing to put the
- 19:40Speaker 2: game away when you had Auburn on the ropes.
- 19:43Speaker 1: And the ugly, I don't ever want to have.
- 19:45Speaker 2: To talk about 16 penalties for 138 yards again. But
- 19:48Speaker 2: this team went into one of the SEC's toughest environments,
- 19:51Speaker 2: and they found a way.
- 19:53Speaker 1: They were punched. They punched back. They made mistakes. But
- 19:56Speaker 1: then they responded. They worked the cut. And in the end,
- 19:59Speaker 1: Florida was the last team standing. So now go home.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Go back to the drawing board. Clean it up.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Ole Miss is next, and we're about to find out
- 20:07Speaker 2: just how high the ceiling really is for this Florida
- 20:11Speaker 2: football team. Guys, I want to know you're good, you're bad,
- 20:14Speaker 2: you're ugly. Let me know down in the comments. You
