Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: And Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: Federal agents are back in North Carolina and they are not messing around.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: In the span of just weeks, Ice in Border Patrol have arrested thousands of illegal aliens all across the tar heel state, and the epicenter of it all is Charlotte the state's biggest bluest city taken together.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_00]: The data tells a story the legacy media desperately wants to bury.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't random enforcement.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's a strategic
- 0:53[SPEAKER_00]: high visibility operation happening in exactly the place and exactly the time that could decide the political future of North Carolina heading into the midterms and beyond.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, your patron professor, you don't be makes sense of the madness with breaking news and analysis.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to get anywhere else.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: So make sure to smack that bell and subscribe button.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: North Carolina has become ground zero for the Trump administration's mass deportation push and the numbers back it up in a big way.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: From inauguration day 2025 through mid-October.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: Ice made roughly 3,400 arrests statewide, nearly double the 17,000 arrests made during the entire year of 2024 under Biden, and Charlotte wasn't just part of that trend, it was the epicenter, accounting for roughly 38% of all statewide arrests by mid 2025.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: But then, this past November, everything changed.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: That's when Border Patrol rolled into Charlotte with what they called Operation Charlotte's Web.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: And gang, this was not a quiet behind the scenes operation.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: This was Commander Gregory Bavino and hundreds of federal agents descending on the Queen's city in a very public, very deliberate show of force.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: Within the first few days, agents had already rested more than 130 people with 44 having prior criminal records.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: By November 19, DHS said the total since the weekend had climbed past 250.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: Just days later that number jumped again, first nearly to 400, then passed 425 as the operation wrapped up after about five days on the ground.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: They claim the operation ultimately netted more than 1,300 arrests.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: And the ice enforcement has not stopped.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: In the months after Bavino's team departed, ICE has quietly kept arresting people across the state about 2300 more averaging 20 arrests a day and climbing to 27 a day by early March.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: By the time you add it all up, cumulative statewide arrestance Trump took office have hit somewhere between 6300 and 6500 people.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it turns out Mecklenburg County, that Charlotte's home county, has a foreign-born population of 200,000 people and get this 62% of them are non-naturalized, meaning they're not U.S. citizens.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: Now, zoom out to the broader Charlotte metro area and you're looking at an estimated 328,000 foreign-born residents, 59% of whom are non-citizens, for years.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: International migration was the dominant driver of Mecklenburg's population growth.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: At one point running nine times faster than domestic migration into the county.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's an entire county being demographically reshaped year after year largely by people who are not here legally or who arrive through channels that this administration rightly considers
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: that pattern has already collapsed.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_00]: New census data released this spring shows international migration to Mecklenburg County dropped a stunning 41% in just a single year from 22,500 people down to barely 13,000.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not just Mecklenburg, it's North Carolina across the board.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: The state is a whole.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: net international migration North Carolina has plummeted by nearly half over the last year, dropping from 83,000 people in 2024 to now just around 40,000 in 2025.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: Analyst note that the sharp decline mirrors national trends and it stems directly from tightened federal immigration policies, stricter border security and increased deportations gang.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: That is a direct
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: measurable, real-world consequence of visible enforcement.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: When people know ISIS actually showing up, actually making arrests, actually following through the calculus changes.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: That's not a coincidence.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: That's deterrent working exactly the way it's supposed to.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's the political ramifications of this enforcement that promise to be the most consequential of them all.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: North Carolina is one of the seven major swing states, a voted for Obama, for example, 2008.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: And Democrats believe that they could permanently flip the state blue for the foreseeable future largely through these demographic changes.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: But this massive deportation
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: wait until you see this.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: But first, as you know, for years, the left has done their best to convince millions of Americans that their real enemy is not big government.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's not crooked politicians.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's not these communist ideologies.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: But instead, they would have you believe the real enemy is your fellow citizens, particularly rich Americans, Democrats like Elizabeth Warren, AOC, Mayor Mamdoni.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: they want to take money away from rich people and give it to the government who will of course be sure to redistribute it in a fair and ethical way just like USAID did, right?
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: But what if the question isn't, how do we take money from the rich people?
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: But what are the rich doing to get richer and how can we tap into that?
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's the question, a good friend of mine, Mark Wilburn, has been asking for nearly 20 years.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: Marcus of President Nios Capital on the author of the book, Understanding the Mathieu Effect.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: unlocking the mystery behind why the rich get richer.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: Marcus hosting a free live training this coming Thursday and Saturday called the freedom trading summit where he'll show patriots just like you how to reclaim control of your family's wealth from Wall Street and the government.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: Mark's stock picks and training of help listeners not only beat the market, but in some cases 2x, even 3x, the market returns.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: The last time Mark hosted one of these events, we had so much positive feedback from our listeners that we asked if you would do another.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: People like Burke, who after attending one of these events,
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: went on to make nearly $25,000 on a $70,000 account in just six weeks.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_00]: He even sent over these statements to prove the legacy media is lying and that Patriots really are prospering under President Trump.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're wondering what you should do to position yourself, to prosper in these turbulent times, then click the link below now or go to freeturlyticket.com to reserve your spot
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: And once Saturday morning, go to freeturlyticket.com right now to reserve your spot.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to absolutely love it.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: To the harm Democrats, North Carolina looks as if it's about to lose its status as a swing state and join the increasing number of solid red states in the making of a permanent Republican majority.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: North Carolina is voted Republican in 11 of the last 12 presidential elections Trump carried the state again.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_00]: 2024 by 3.3 points, Republicans currently control both U.S. Senate seats and they control 10 of their 14 congressional seats soon to be 11 of 14 after this redistricting.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: They control both chambers of the state legislature and both the state supreme court and court of appeal.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: So this is functionally a thoroughly Republican state.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: But here's the twist.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: since Biden's inauguration through the 2024 election.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: North Carolina Democrats have lost 42,000 registered voters while Republicans gain 180,000.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: That's a net registration swing of 220,000 votes.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: towards the voters toward the GOP with half of that swing happening in just the 18 months before the 2024 election.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: That trend has not slowed down.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: If anything, it's accelerating.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: For the first time ever, there are more Republican registered voters in North Carolina than Democrats ever.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_00]: Now think about what Charlotte represents to that picture.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: McLeanburg County is the single biggest reservoir of democratic votes in the entire state.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: Charlotte, along with the research triangle in Durham, is the only thing standing between North Carolina and a rock solid red stated every level.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: So ask yourself, if you're a Republican administration trying to accelerate a registration surge, it's already running in your favor.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: Where would you want to send?
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: Where would you concentrate the most visible, high-profile immigration enforcement operation in the country?
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: you'd want to send it exactly where it went into the biggest democratic city in a state that you're already winning.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_00]: In an immigrant heavy urban core right before a midterm election cycle.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: This does three things all at once.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: First, it energizes the Republican base statewide by showing decisive visible action on the legal immigration, exactly the kind of red meat result that turns lean Republican voters into definitely showing up to vote Republican voters, right?
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: Sankin' it puts Charlotte area Democrats on defense, forcing local leaders to either defend and increasingly unpopular sanctuary adjacent posture, or distance themselves from their own base.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: And then third, and I frankly, this is the sneaky part, it directly targets the demographic and population growth engine that's kept McLeanburg competitive for Democrats in the first place.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, immigration-driven growth is now down
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: 41% in this county already.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: Every non citizen who self-deports, every family that decides Charlotte isn't the, it's not worth the risk anymore, is one less potential future Democrat voter, one less person driving up that Democratic turnout ceiling that Charlotte has always fallen short of anyway.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: And let's not forget the redistricting angle,
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: Republicans and Raleigh just pushed through a new congressional map, converting a 10 four GOP advantage into now in 113 advantage, combined in aggressively redrawn map with an immigration enforcement operation that is actively deterring growth in the state's most democratic county.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: And you have a two prong strategy,
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: Trink the denominator potential democratic votes in Charlotte while simultaneously making the district lines even less favorable for whoever remains.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: So where does this leave us heading into the midterms?
- 12:46[SPEAKER_00]: This is the blueprint.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_00]: This is the blueprint for every single one.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: state in the country, literally, target the biggest blue city in a red trending state, enforce the law visibly and aggressively, watch the deterrent effect shrink the opposition demographic base, and then let the registration numbers do the rest.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: Love it or hate it, that's the strategy that's playing out in real time in the queen city and the tar heel state.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_00]: And the results speak for themselves.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: North Carolina is now more Republican than it has ever been before in its history.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: And the blueprint that made it so is just getting started.
