July 23 Testimony Looms for Jes Staley in Epstein Oversight Probe (6/4/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

• 0:00
Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Epstein Chronicles. Jess Staley is going to appear before the
• 0:09
House Oversight Committee on July twenty third, and considering how
• 0:13
tight Jeffrey Epstein and Jess Staley were, I would think
• 0:18
that he'd have some very interesting things to say about
• 0:21
that relationship, especially considering that Jess Staley has admitted admitted
• 0:27
himself by the way, that he had so called consensual
• 0:30
relations with one of Epstein's assistants. So which one was it,
• 0:35
And if it was Nadia or Sarah Kellen Vickers, which
• 0:38
I suspected was one of them, then that would mean
• 0:42
that Jess Staley had relations with the traffic girl. Whether
• 0:47
those women were involved in the abuse or not, they
• 0:51
were also being trafficked. And two things can be true
• 0:54
at the same time, right, And if you're Jess Staley,
• 0:58
this is really bad news. I mean, what's his defense
• 1:01
going to be. I had no idea she was being trafficked.
• 1:03
My friend just brought me a girl, and I decided
• 1:06
that I was going to hop in bed with her.
• 1:08
What does that even mean? Like? How do you defend yourself?
• 1:12
And when it comes to Jess Staley, I just don't
• 1:14
think that there's any explanation for why he did what
• 1:18
he did, and that's not alleged. By the way, Jess
• 1:22
Staley has admitted that he had relations consensual, he says,
• 1:27
with one of Epstein's assistants, So that opens up a
• 1:30
whole less other conversation, right, And to the morons out
• 1:33
there that want to say Epstein never traffick girls to
• 1:36
anybody else, please do everybody a favor and take a
• 1:39
seat all the way in the back. This article was
• 1:42
published by CNBC and the headline. Former Barclay CEO Jess
• 1:46
Staley agrees to July twenty third interview about Jeffrey Epstein
• 1:50
by oversight panel. This article was authored by Dan Mangen.
• 1:54
Jess Staley, the former JP Morgan Chase executive, an ex
• 1:58
Barclay CEO, has agreed to be interviewed on about his
• 2:01
relationship with notorious ex offender Jeffrey Epstein on July twenty
• 2:06
third by the House Oversight and Government Reforms Committee. A
• 2:09
spokesman for the panel confirmed on Sunday, and this is
• 2:13
going to be a significant testimony. As you all know,
• 2:18
I believe that the financial sector is the actual boogeyman here.
• 2:22
And I think that people like Staley are almost as
• 2:25
responsible for what Epstein did as Epstein himself. When you
• 2:31
have that kind of power, that kind of ability to
• 2:34
move money, you have to take your job seriously. And
• 2:39
if you're a banker and you know that somebody's already
• 2:41
been hemmed up for what Epstein got hemmed up for,
• 2:44
why are you getting into business with him? And then
• 2:47
after the fact, don't come to me and tell me
• 2:49
you had no idea, because that makes you look even
• 2:52
dumber then you look now. And boy, Jeff Staley might
• 2:57
as well be wearing that dunce hat. The Financial Times
• 3:03
first reported that Staley accepted the invitation for a voluntary
• 3:06
transcribed interview extended to him three weeks ago by Oversight
• 3:10
chairman James the Gomer comer donald Trump's water boy, Donald
• 3:15
Trump's errand boy certainly not working on behalf of the
• 3:18
American people. I mean, if he was really working for
• 3:21
the American people, this whole entire committee would have been
• 3:25
very different, and it would have had teeth. And literally
• 3:28
every single person that's been deposed by them has lied
• 3:31
to them and nothing's happened, No repercussions no ramifications, nobody
• 3:37
being held accountable, and why would they be, especially considering
• 3:42
that the vast majority of people that pretend they care
• 3:45
here are only saying that because they know you care.
• 3:48
So yeah, I question the motivation when it comes to
• 3:52
Congress and the members of this committee. The Oversight Panel
• 3:56
has been conducting a series of interviews with high profile
• 3:59
people about Epstein, including former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary
• 4:04
of State Hillary Clinton, and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. All
• 4:08
of them lied, every last one of them. But it's
• 4:11
no big deal because it's all about the performance. It's
• 4:14
not about the results. All they care about is showing you, hey,
• 4:17
look we're doing something. They're trying to appease you. They're
• 4:22
not trying to get to the bottom of this, certainly
• 4:24
not James Comer. And on the other side, all we
• 4:28
get is Trump, Trump, Trump all day, every day and
• 4:31
now look, like I've told you a million times, Trump
• 4:33
is a gigantic part of the story, especially right now,
• 4:37
But when it comes to how the machine worked and
• 4:40
who protected it, it goes much deeper than Trump, and
• 4:43
I think people need to separate the two. And I
• 4:46
think that if you want the right results, you're gonna
• 4:48
have to take the path that has the most evidence,
• 4:51
and for me, it's clearly the cover up. And if
• 4:55
you nail people for the cover up, then you're gonna
• 4:57
get them for the other stuff too. But I know
• 5:00
that's not salacious enough for a lot of people out there.
• 5:03
They'd rather talk about cannibals and the occult, and I
• 5:06
get it, that makes a better story, But I think
• 5:09
a lot of people forgot that this isn't about creating
• 5:11
a story. It's about getting to the bottom of what happened,
• 5:15
and getting to the bottom of a criminal enterprise like
• 5:18
Jeffrey Epstein's takes actual work. It's not just one or
• 5:22
two allegations they're going to be able to defend themselves
• 5:25
against that. It's when you get digging into the paper trail,
• 5:28
when you start digging into the record, when you start
• 5:31
wondering why Leon Black one hundred and sixty million dollars,
• 5:35
that's when it starts getting a bit dangerous for them.
• 5:38
And of course that's what they can have. So that's
• 5:41
why they steer the conversation towards the most salacious nonsense.
• 5:44
And that's because they know they can bundle that all
• 5:47
and call it a hoax, and once they panted a hoax,
• 5:50
forget it. And you see the result. All these people
• 5:52
out here who used to believe that Epstein was literally
• 5:55
doing everything he's doing, well, now they don't believe that
• 5:59
anymore because Donald Trump called it a hoax. And then
• 6:02
people started talking about you know, cannibalism and the occult,
• 6:05
all this other stuff, and people are like, yeah, obviously
• 6:09
a hoax, nothing more than satanic panic, same kind of nonsense.
• 6:13
Why are we wasting our time on this? And that
• 6:16
was all part of the cover up, all part of
• 6:18
the sy op. And I recognize that shit right from
• 6:20
Jump Street, and that's why I've been screaming from the
• 6:23
rooftops not to fall for it. Unfortunately, a lot of
• 6:26
people want to fall for it. And that's because a
• 6:28
lot of people have their whole entire identity wrapped up
• 6:31
in their political party, which is just crazy and the
• 6:35
whole other conversation for a whole other time. Former Attorney
• 6:40
General Pam Bondi was interviewed by the committee on Friday
• 6:43
about the Department of Justice handling of the release of
• 6:46
its files about Epstein. That went nowhere, wasted time, just
• 6:50
like everybody else, come on it wasn't my fault. Todd
• 6:54
Blanche was in charge of that. That's the kind of
• 6:56
shit we got from BONDI allegedly. We haven't seen the
• 6:59
transcripts yet, but you know that's what they were reporting.
• 7:03
Microsoft co founder Bill Gates is scheduled to be interviewed
• 7:07
by the Oversight Committee on June tenth about his dealings
• 7:10
with Epstein. Another guy that's gonna get up there and lie, ah, look,
• 7:14
I was blackmailed. Jeffrey Epstein lied to me. He told
• 7:18
me you was something that he wasn't. Meanwhile, Jeffrey Epstein
• 7:21
was already convicted by the time that Bill Gates was
• 7:24
over at his house. And Bill Gates, let's not forget
• 7:28
your own wife knew it was a bad idea. And
• 7:31
all the married men out there, you already know where
• 7:34
I'm going with this. Billionaire Leon Black is reportedly scheduled
• 7:39
to be interviewed by the panel on June twenty six,
• 7:42
and Golodbin Sachs General counsel Katherine Rumler is reportedly scheduled
• 7:47
to be interviewed on July fifteenth. They're touching all them bases. Huh.
• 7:53
The problem is what's come of it? No, no, investigations.
• 7:57
Nobody on the dock, nobody coming out and saying hold up,
• 8:01
we need the FBI to review this information. And unfortunately
• 8:06
it's all by design. And if it wasn't for that
• 8:09
discharge petition forget it, they would have buried this so
• 8:13
deep that nobody would have ever found any remnants of it.
• 8:19
Staley was a friend of Epstein, who had been a
• 8:21
major client of JP Morgan's private wealth and asset management
• 8:24
division when Staley ran them. Epstein, a former friend of
• 8:28
President Donald Trump, died from a jailhouse suicide allegedly in
• 8:32
New York in August of twenty nineteen, weeks after being
• 8:36
arrested on federal sex trafficking charges. Well, yeah, he was
• 8:40
a friend of Trump, but a friend of a lot
• 8:42
of people, and that's the kind of shit that turns
• 8:44
people off when they're following the story. And this is
• 8:48
why I was telling you from the beginning. It needs
• 8:50
to be all of us together against these people, and
• 8:53
if not forget it, we have no chance. And unfortunately,
• 8:56
people would rather fight over bullshit wedge issues then actually
• 9:00
get together and hold these people accountable. And until that changes,
• 9:04
we're just going to be in the same place we've
• 9:06
always been, and our tires are going to be spinning
• 9:10
while we're in neutral. J P. Morgan in twenty twenty
• 9:16
three agreed to pay victims of Epstein two hundred ninety
• 9:19
million to settle a lawsuit that the bank had facilitated
• 9:22
sex trafficking by Epstein, who was a client of J. P. Morgan.
• 9:27
That same year, the bank agreed to pay seventy five
• 9:29
million to settle a similar lawsuit by the government of
• 9:32
the US Virgin Islands, and separately agreed to a confidential
• 9:36
settlement with Daily to resolve the bank's claims that he
• 9:39
was responsible for any civil damages and costs associated with
• 9:43
Epstein related litigation. Everybody was getting paid hand over fist,
• 9:49
except the survivors. Keep that in mind when people are
• 9:52
out here telling you they're chasing a bag. The vast
• 9:55
majority of these women got less than a million dollars. Now,
• 10:01
I know a million dollars sounds like a lot of money,
• 10:03
but in the grand scheme of things, is it if
• 10:07
you've had these repressed feelings, if you've been abused back
• 10:11
in say ninety four, ninety five, ninety six, whatever, and
• 10:14
you've been carrying this with you, that whole time. Is
• 10:18
a million dollars enough, especially considering the US Virgin Islands
• 10:22
themselves walked away with over two hundred million. Please somebody
• 10:27
explain that to me. In both public settlements, JP Morgan
• 10:32
did not admit wrongdoing in its dealings with Epstein. No,
• 10:36
not at all, just paying out hundreds of millions because
• 10:39
you know that's what they do. Staley served the CEO
• 10:46
of Barclays from October twenty fifteen until his resignation in
• 10:49
late twenty twenty one. His departure came after a pro
• 10:53
by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority and how he characterized
• 10:57
his relationship with Epstein to Barclays and the subsequent description
• 11:02
of that relationship in Barclay's response to the FCA. That
• 11:06
regulator finds Staley more than two million and permanently abanned
• 11:09
them from holding a management role in the sector in
• 11:12
twenty twenty three. But Staley had no idea what was
• 11:15
going on, folks, none, just another guy that was manipulated
• 11:20
by the all knowing, all powerful Jeffrey Epstein. Barclays noted
• 11:27
at the time that the investigation makes no findings that
• 11:30
mister Staley saw or was aware of any of mister
• 11:33
Epstein's alleged crimes, which was the central question underpinning Barclay's
• 11:38
support for mister Staley. Following the arrest of mister Epstein
• 11:41
in the summer of twenty nineteen, Staley said in twenty twenty,
• 11:45
obviously I thought I knew him well, and I didn't
• 11:48
for sure with hindsight, with what we know now, I
• 11:51
deeply regret having any relationship with Jeffrey. Yeah, well, how
• 11:57
about the relationship you had with one of his quote
• 11:59
unquote assistance. Furthermore, who's beauty and the Beast? And who
• 12:04
is snow White? And what else were you doing when
• 12:07
you were on that island. Those are just a few
• 12:10
of the questions that I have for Jess Staley, and
• 12:12
it's going to be real interesting to see how many
• 12:15
of those questions are asked and just how hard they
• 12:17
go on Jess Staley. All the information that goes with
• 12:22
